It was a sunny afternoon in Elwood City, and Arthur was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his friend Adil from Turkey. Adil was coming to spend a few weeks with the Reads, and Arthur couldn't have been more excited. As he heard a knock on the door, he rushed downstairs to open it, greeted by the smiling face of his friend.

"Adil! It's so great to see you in person!" Arthur exclaimed, giving Adil a warm hug.

Adil laughed, "It's good to see you too, Arthur! I had some trouble getting here. The plane ride was a bit shaky but it's nice to see Elwood City in person!"

The two boys then ran up to Arthur's room. Adil put his suitcase on Arthur's bed.

"Hey Adil, did you bring any 'lamb's eyes' with you this time?" Arthur teased, he had a playful glint in his eyes.

Adil winced at this but replied to Arthur with a chuckle, "No lamb's eyes, Arthur. You've gotta stop believing those comic books you've been telling me about."

"Trust me. I've learned not to believe them."

Adil then unpacked his belongings, and set his sleeping bag next to Arthur's bed.
