Back on the Boiling Isles; Scratch was still in the forbidden stacks taking pictures of every page of the forbidden spells.
"These spells must have been so dangerous to be shown to the public." said Scratch.
He reached one page and became confused by it.
"The resurrection spell?" said Scratch.
He inspected the page greatly.
"Wow, whoever came up with this spell must not have wanted it to be used to completion." said Scratch.
He took a picture of the page before putting the book back in its place and floated away.
In another part of the library; Luz, Amity, Molly, and Ollie were walking down one part of the library and noticed two witches making out in one section, shocking the two.
"What the hell?" said Amity.
The two witches became shocked and ran off.
"Please tell me we're not reenacting that one joke from Friends." said Ollie.
Everyone looked at Ollie.
"Not after just recently losing one of the main actors." said Luz.
The four put hands on their hearts and looked down in sadness as Scratch appeared.
The ghost became confused.
"So who died?" said Scratch.
Amity punched Scratch really hard, knocking him away.
"No one." said Amity.
Scratch groaned in annoyance.
"I found something that might be of interest in a forbidden spell book." said Scratch.
"What would that be?" said Luz.
"A resurrection spell." said Scratch.
Everyone looked at the ghost in confusion.
"What, a resurrection spell?" said Ollie.
"I've never even heard of such a spell." said Amity.
Scratch pulled out Molly's phone and showed the photo of the resurrection spell page.
"That's because it's illegal." said Scratch.
Amity is shocked.
"I'm sure there's a reason." said Amity.
The others looked at the photo.
"According to this, if the spell is used by way of glyph, pure Titan's blood will allow it to reach full power." said Luz.
"And if artificial Titan's blood is used?" said Molly.
"I'd guess that only the spirit of the person who the spell is used on will be able to fully interact with the world of the living as a ghost." said Luz.
"Doesn't really sound powerful enough." said Amity.
On the phone photo was a glyph that consisted of ten circles, each circle had six of each glyph on each one.
"This seems complicated. Whoever came up with this spell must have known that it would be time consuming to complete." Said Luz.
"There must be some side effects to using such a spell." Said Ollie.
"Agreed!" spoke Luz.
"Question is, what?" Said Amity.
"Don't know, we'd better tell Rayman about this." Said Luz.
The group walked off.
Later; both groups had returned to the Bounty Cave and Eda gave every ingredient she could find to Meek.
Meek smiled.
"This'll be perfect." said Meek.
He was about to work on the formula before turning to the others.
"By the way; I pulled up some security footage from those robberies." said Meek.
He swivled to his computer and tapped some keys, showing the footage of the factory robberies.
"I still couldn't get any clear footage, but I'll get back to it after finishing this Titan's blood formula." said Meek.
The others nodded.
"Noted." said Luz.
"Wonder where Rayman is anyways? If he's with Doctor Strange, then they'll want to know about the resurrection spell." Said Scratch.
Everyone nodded.
"I agree." Said Eda.
"You all better go find him, I'll let you know if I get any developments." Said Meek.
The group walked off.
Back at the abandoned house; Strange was meditating as Rayman was still in his own subconsiousness.
Then the others appeared while Amity became confused.
"Wait, why're we here? And how'd we figure to come here of all places?" said Amity.
The others became confused.
"Plot device?" said Hailey.
The others then noticed what was going on.
"What's happening?" said Eda.
Strange looked at the group.
"A journey through time." said Strange.
"He's not creating a time paradox, is he?" said Luz.
"No." said Strange, "The spell I'm using only subconsiously sent him to the days when Caleb Wittbane was still alive to see his side of what the Demon Realm was like."
Back in Rayman's subconsiousness; the limbless hero was looking at another memory of Evelyn Clawthorn making some type of glyph combo on the ground.
"This seems like an important memory." said Rayman.
He looked at the glyph on the ground then looked at the same glyph in Caleb's journal.
"Resurrection spell huh? Okay, I'll bite." said Rayman.
Caleb appeared and saw the glyph combo.
"Uh, what kind of combo is this?" said Caleb.
Evelyn grabbed a statue of a witch and put it on the combo.
"There are people who say that it's impossible to undo a petrification spell. But I think it's possible. Hopefully if this works, not only will it prove that this glyph combo is not only a reverse petrification spell, but also a resurrection spell." said Evelyn.
Rayman became shocked.
"Reverse petrification spell?" said Rayman.
He pulled out some type of flashlight.
"Good thing I've got a blacklight flashlight even in this unusual type of situation." said Rayman.
He turned on the flashlight and aimed it at the page, revealing another entry in it.
"Oh ho, okay, Caleb must have written some of this journal in a special kind of ink that can be revealed in a black light." said Rayman.
He looked at the page.
"Despite talking Evelyn out of using this so called resurrection spell to bring a dead life back to life, she was still able to reverse the effects of the long lost petrification spell that was said to have been banned centuries after the Titan's each became their own sets of islands." Rayman read.
Rayman became shocked.
"So the resurrection spell doubles as a reverse petrification spell?" said Rayman, "If Belos knew about this, then he clearly didn't want anyone knowing about it during his tenure as Emperor."
Evelyn tapped the glyph and it glowed before the stone on the witch statue started crumbling before it crumbled away, revealing the witch who looked around before screaming in shock and ran off.
The Clawthorn chuckled.
"It works." said Evelyn.
She did some thinking.
"Now to just find a dead body to use it on." said Evelyn.
She began to walk off, but was stopped by Caleb.
The witch looked at her lover.
"Somethings are better left undisturbed." said Caleb.
Evelyn did some thinking.
"You're right." said Evelyn.
She and Caleb walked off as Rayman kept on looking at the resurrection spell page of Caleb's journal and noticed something else on it with the blacklight flashlight.
Rayman became confused.
"Huh?" said Rayman.
He inspected the mysterious thing some more and closed the journal.
"I think it's time I returned to the real world." said Rayman.
He tapped the cover two times before disappearing.
Back in the real world; the Eye of Agamotto stopped glowing as Caleb's journal fell to the ground and Rayman woke up gasping.
The others noticed in shock.
"What the hell?" said Scratch.
"Whoo, what a trip that was." said Rayman.
He stood up.
"Rayman, what did you see?" said Amity.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." said Rayman.
"Try us." said Eda.
Later; Rayman told the whole story of how he discovered that Eda is the desendant of Caleb Wittbane and that the Clawthorn family created the resurrection spell.
"You're right, I don't believe it." said Eda.
"You're telling me that a fraction of the Clawthorn family is part human?" said Luz.
Rayman nodded.
"Yes. Eda's part human. But by a little bit since the first born child of Caleb and Evelyn was half human half witch." said Rayman.
"But the whole deal with the resurrection spell?" said Amity.
"It's not just a resurrection spell. It's also a reverse petrification spell. It's the only thing that can reverse a fully completed petrification." said Rayman.
He did some thinking.
"Which reminds me." said Rayman.
He pulled out his phone and took a picture of the resurrection spell page from Caleb's journal before typing down a message saying 'Look at what I discovered from the pages of Belos's more peaceful brother's journal. Memorize this glyph combo and use legit magic on a petrified victim. Trust me.' before sending it and the picture to the Boiling Isles President Steve.
The other's became confused.
"Did you seriously just tell President Steve to use a forbidden spell?" Said Hailey.
"I've got my reasons." Said Rayman.
A chiming sound was heard and Luz pulled out her phone and looked at it.
"Meek finished the Titans blood formula." Said Luz.
"Well it'll take a while to get to the Bounty Cave since-"Eda said as Strange opened up a sling ring portal which everyone noticed, making Eda stop speaking in shock.
"Like no one ever thinks about it." said Strange.
