This is the introduction to a Lackadaisy AU story idea I had, even before I began writing Blood and Liquor. The prologue is complete and uploaded. The remainder of the story will update slowly.
This story is a multi-AU, primarily following Lackadaisy, with elements from other webcomics and movies. The world will take place in the Lackadaisy universe but will contain both humans and other animal species. Lackadaisy's setting of Saint Louis will contain mostly cats like the webcomic. The story, outside of the prologue and flashbacks, will begin in late 1924, around mid-October, before ending at the start of the webcomic. As such, I highly recommend you read the comic first, as this story will contain many characters, elements and spoilers. There will also be some changes to the comic but will largely stay in line with it.
The story is rated M for graphic depictions of violence, gore, period racism/sexism (minimal), alcohol/drug use, adult themes such as groping, brief non-con, nudity, and explicit sexual content.
