Chapter 4: Christmas Wishes:

Scrooge's POV:

I was sleeping in my bed. Then I heard a voice. I woke up and saw a woman made of wax. "Good," she says, "you're up!" Prudence then started sniffing her. "I'm the Ghost of Christmas Past!"

"Long Past," I asked.

"Nope, your past!"

. . .

She took me to a factory where I worked because my Father was in a Debtors Prison.

"Can they see us, Spirit," I asked.

"No, these are just shadows," says Past, "they can't see, hear, or touch us. Fun, right?"

My sister, Fanny came. "Ebenezer, I've come to take you home," says Fanny.

"Fanny," I said, "I thought I was going to be alone forever!"

"I will never let that happen," says Fanny.

Young Scrooge/Fanny: On the night before Christmas so they say
A couple of dreams before Christmas Day
There's a star way up in the evening sky
Way on high as the Christmas moon goes drifting by
And to ever seize that star they so
Should wish a wish on Christmas Day
The wish that you wish on Christmas Day
Is pretty well sure to come true they say
So, the wish that I wish you tonight my friend
May you spend Christmas mornings without end
Dreaming of a miracle or two
And may all your Christmas wishes come true!

"She's such a sweet little girl," says Past.

"She died giving birth to Fred," I said.

"Let's take another look," says Past.
