Chapter 4: My Kind of Christmas:
North Wind's POV:
Santa's injured and Kristin's going to forget who her family even is! Soon, it will be my kind of Christmas!
North Wind: It's my kind of Christmas
A cold windy Christmas
And I am the cool guy on the scene
Well, I'm taking over
Who needs Santa?
He's just a hasbeen; can't you see?
It's over
This Christmas; no Santa; just me
I'll be number one; I'll get the job done
I'll fire the elves and do it all by myself. Hey!
I won't need a sleigh; send the reindeer away
I don't really care, as long as it's me who's there
They won't miss Santa; there won't be a Santa
No ho ho
I'll step right over
Santa's little shoulder
When I am the cool guy on the scene
I'll give out the toys
To all the girls and boys
As long as they know that it was me
It's over
This Christmas; no Santa; just me
Paintings: You'll be number one
North Wind: That's right!
Paintings: You'll get the job done
North Wind: Yep!
I'll fire the elves and do it all by myself, Hey
I won't need a sleigh; send the reindeer away
I don't really care, as long as it's me who's there
They won't miss Santa; there won't be a Santa
It's over
It's over
It's over
It's over
IT'S OVER
This Christmas; no Santa; just me!
Snow Miser:
Mom took us, by the ears, to Mrs. Claus.
"I'm so sorry about what happened to Santa," says Mom, "how is he?"
"Remember when it was almost a year without Santa," asks Mrs. Claus, "and his back was killing him? Well, it's a lot worse now!"
"At least he doesn't have a cold now," says Heat.
"It's terrible," says North Wind, "but wait, his daughter, Kristin can take over!"
"I got a letter from Kristin," says Spieltoe, the donkey, "she's giving up her immortality to be with the man she loves!"
"What," asks Mrs. Claus, "she's going off with a strange man? She didn't think of talking to me or Santa first?"
"Also, she's giving up her immortality," says Blitzen.
"Right, that too... oh no," says Mrs. Claus, "if she does that, she'll become human and won't even remember being Santa's daughter!"
"Well, there's still Fred," I said.
"Yeah... not after the last time," says Fred, "don't ask!"
"Well, since Santa's hurt, Kristin's human, and Fred's just useless," says North Wind, "I could do it!"
"I know what I said earlier," says Mom, "but I decided that since it was Snow and Heat's fault, they will make up for it!"
"What," Heat and I both asked.
"What," asks North Wind.
"What," asks Blitzen.
"What," asks Mrs. Claus.
"What," asks Santa, from his room.
"What," asks Spieltoe.
"What," asks Mom, "I mean, yes!"
"But the North Pole's in my territory," says North Wind.
"But it is also in Snow's," says Mom.
"Don't remind me," says North Wind, "he allowed Heat to make it Spring in the North Pole without talking to me first!"
"Snow, you didn't talk to North Wind," asks Mom.
"I didn't want to get you mad," I said, "besides, I assumed you were going to let him know."
"That's what happens when you allow Snow and North Wind to share the North Pole," says Heat.
"Snow Miser, Heat Miser," says Mom, "you two are going to fill in for Santa!"
"That's great," says North Wind, "if you need me, I'm going to go in the other room and shout happy swears!" North Wind then does just that.
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, Snow and Heat are now working in the North Pole.
