Chapter 8: The Beautiful Day:
Scrooge's POV:
I saw the Cratchits. "That's his wife, Ethel. She's not your biggest fan. Over there is Matthew. He wants to join the military someday. That's Kathy. She sure likes to go caroling. You should hear her voice! That's Gillian, she wants to be a nurse one day. Over there is the youngest, Tiny Tim. He's the one walkin' on the crutch.
"I didn't realize he had such a big family," I said.
"Yeah, good thing he has such a generous boss," says Present, "oh wait, he doesn't!"
"To the Founder of the Feast, Mr. Scrooge," says Bob.
"I wish he was here," says Ethel, "I'd like to give him a piece of my mind to feast upon!"
"Thank of the children," says Bob.
They barely had anything. Can you even call this a feast?
"God bless us everyone," says Tiny Tim.
Tiny Tim: On the beautiful day that I dream about
There's a world I would love to see
It's a beautiful place where the sun comes out
And it shines in the sky for me
On this beautiful day that I dream about
There's no place I would rather be
On this beautiful winter's morning
If my wish could come true somehow
Then the beautiful day that I dream about
Would be here
And now
On the beautiful day that I dream about
There's a world I would love to see
It's a beautiful place where the sun comes out
And it shines in the sky for me
On this beautiful day that I dream about
There's no place I would rather be
On this beautiful winter's morning
If my wish could come true somehow
Then the beautiful day that I dream about
Would be here
And now!
"What's wrong with that boy," I asked.
"I see an empty stool with a crutch," says the spirit.
. . .
The spirit then took me to a graveyard. I notice he started to look old. "Spirit, are you alright," I asked.
"It's time-" The spirit then changed and, in his place,... the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come!
To Be Continued
