Chapter 10: Graveyard:

Scrooge's POV:

We entered the Cratchits' house, and everyone was sad. "Did they not get invited to the party," I asked.

"I still can't believe he's gone," says Gillian.

"If it weren't for that-" Matthew began saying.

I was confused, but then I saw it... the empty stool with the crutch! "No," I said, "not Tiny Tim!"

"He would want us to continue on," says Bob.

. . .

The spirit then took me to the graveyard. I saw Tiny Tim's gravestone. My eyes started to tear up. The spirit then grabbed my shoulder.

. . .

We then approached another and that was when I realized... that wasn't a party earlier! We saw Prudence's older self. She was saddened over my grave. She then left. Prudence watched herself run off.

"Goodbye and good riddance, Ebenezer Scrooge," says Tom Jenkins, "that was for my Mother!"

Tom Jenkins: And if I had a drum, I'd have to bang it
To add a sort o' rumpty tumpty touch
But since I left me drummer at home
I simply have to say:
Thank you very, very, very much
Thank you very, very, very much!

Tom then left. "Spirit, can the events that we have seen be changed," I asked.

Then, there was fire all around us. I realized what this meant! Afterall, if you were as cruel as I am, where would you go? "Spirit, I beg of you! Give me another chance! I can change! I can change!"

. . .

"I can change-" I then realized Prudence and I were back in my room. "Prudence, was any of that real," I asked. Prudence then revealed some fire and brimstone. "I'll take that as a yes!"
