Here's some more Baffy fluff coming your way. Of course, I don't own any rights to Looney Tunes. Enjoy!

The last thing Daffy had been expecting while sitting on the couch reading a book was to suddenly have soap bubbles blown in his face. After a few seconds of spluttering and waving his hands in front of him, he looked up to see Bugs giggling at him with a pile of bubbles in his hand, a mischievous twinkle in his eye, and a fluffy white towel wrapped around him.

"What was that for?" Daffy questioned after a slight pause, raising an eyebrow. Without saying anything, Bugs walked over to where Daffy was sat, pulled the book from his hands and placed it down on the coffee table before slipping his hand into Daffy's and pulling him up. Too confused to say anything, Daffy silently followed as Bugs led him through the house that they had shared for almost two years, with their hands clasped together. Soon they came to a stop in the doorway of the bathroom.

"If you're trying to tell me something, I'm not getting it," Daffy admitted, looking around the room as though that would help him figure out what on Earth Bugs was doing. Rolling his eyes, Bugs pointed towards the bathtub. Obediently, and maybe a little too quickly, Daffy turned around and saw that it was full, with a deep layer of bubbles sitting on top. At least now he knew where the soap bubbles he had been attacked with had come from. But he still wasn't entirely sure what was going on.

"I still don't-" Daffy started but was cut off as Bugs sauntered past him and, with his back to Daffy, dropped the towel to the floor and stepped into the bath.

"Join me," Bugs requested, looking up at Daffy through long lashes as he sank down into the water and bubbles slid over his body. Smirking to himself as he realised what Bugs had been wanting from him this whole time, he walked over to the bath and stepped in to the opposite side of where Bugs was sat. He held out his hand to help keep Daffy steady as he lowered himself down. But before he could say anything, Bugs scooped up a handful of bubbles and threw them right at Daffy's face. This time, all Daffy did was laugh and throw another handful of bubbles back at him.

"Hey!" Bugs laughed, wiping bubbles from his eyes. Daffy continued laughing, earning him another handful of bubbles to the face. He spluttered for a moment before blindly grabbing more bubbles and throwing them vaguely in Bugs' direction. From the loud yelp Bugs gave, Daffy guessed his aim had been sound. Suddenly, Bugs flicked his foot and sent a spray of water towards Daffy and just like that, war had begun. The two held almost nothing back as they pelted each other with handfuls of bubbles and splashed water, soaking each other as well as a lot of the bathroom walls and floor.

"S-Stop, stop it!" Daffy finally managed to plead through his giggles and Bugs relented his attack. Breathless, Bugs leant back against the side of the bath and opened his arms out towards Daffy. Once Daffy finally caught his breath back after laughing so much, he shifted his body so his back faced Bugs and slowly he lowered himself to lay against the rabbit's chest.

"Can I ask you something?" Bugs said quietly after a few minutes, gently running his fingers through Daffy's feathers.

"Go for it," Daffy replied, mindlessly running his hand through the water to make patterns in the fading bubbles.

"Do you love me?" Bugs practically whispered.

"What kind of ridiculous question is that? 'Do I love you?' Honestly Bugsy, I thought you were supposed to be the smart one," Daffy rolled his eyes, but his body tensed nonetheless.

"It's just... you've never said it. Not really," Bugs responded, his hand falling away from Daffy's arm.

"Bugs Bunny," Duffy shifted around until he faced Bugs, reaching out and holding the rabbit's face gently in his hands, "you are my heart, my soul, my life, my very reason for existing. You mean more to me than you could ever understand. I have adored you from the moment I laid eyes on your gorgeous, smug face. I love you. I love you with every atom of my being. I love you the way the stars love the moon and the way spring loves summer. I love you, and only you,"

Bugs stared at him, completely taken aback by the intensity of Daffy's words. Not sure what else he could do in reply, Bugs simply leaned forwards and kissed him. Daffy smiled and instantly kissed back, his hands drifting down to gently hold Bugs' shoulders, pulling him closer. When Bugs finally pulled back, he rested his forehead against Daffy's and smiled.

"I love you too, Daffy,"
