Chapter 11: A Changed Man:

Scrooge's POV:

I opened the window. "You there," I said, "what day is it?"

"It's Christmas Day," says the boy.

"Then I didn't miss it," I said, "the spirits, they did it! Of course, they can do anything! You know that goose in the Butcher's window?"

"The one as big as me?"

"Smart lad," I said, "I'll give you some money to buy it!" I then threw him a bag of gold. The boy then left. I was then on my way outside, but then Prudence stopped me, because I was in my pajamas. "You're right. They might think I'm mad!" I then put my hat on. "Good call!"

. . .

I then gave Tom Jenkins so much money. "You have to stay in business," I said, "and this is for your mother!"

"Thank you very much," says Tom.

"Sing it, Lad," I said.

. . .

When I ran into the lad with the goose, I told him to give it to the Cratchits, but not to tell them where it came from!

. . .

I then attended Fred's party and met the baby. Such an adorable baby.
