Chapter 10: Sabotage:

Heat Miser's POV:

It was Christmas Eve, and we were on our way to the sleigh. "Now, I insist that we start with the North," I said.

"No, we'll start with the South and work our way up," says Snow.

"Are you guys ready," I asked.

"Affirmative," says Blitzen.

. . .

We then took off, but something went wrong with the sleigh. We started to lose control and then we crashed!

. . .

We got up. "What just happened," asks Snow.

"I found something," says Vixen, "someone attached heating and cooling units to the sleigh! These are capable of cooling or heating the world!" We all looked at each other. "Just because I'm hot, doesn't mean I'm not smart!"

"Speaking of hot," says Snow, "were you trying to heat the world?"

"There's a cooling unit too," I said, "you probably put that there and put the heating unit so I could take the blame!"

We then started wrestling.

"That's enough," says Santa, "I'll just have to take care of it myself!"

"But what about your back," asks Mrs. Claus.

"I'll deal with it," says Santa.

. . .

Santa then takes off.

"None of this would've happened if you didn't cause him to crash in the first place," I said.

"It was your fault," says Snow, "on the same day as our reunion too!"

We then both had a reaction. "Snow, on that day, didn't North Wind imply he wanted Santa's job," I asked.

"And come to think of it," says Snow, "wasn't North Wind in too big a hurry to fill in for Santa when his back broke?"

"Hey, you guys," says Cupid, as soon as he entered, "have any of you seen my arrows?"

I think Snow and me were thinking the same thing! There's too much coincidence! North Wind probably sabotaged Santa's sleigh so he can take over and took Cupid's arrows to make Kristin fall in love enough to give up her immortality and sabotaged us to make us fight again.

"Santa's in trouble," we both said.

"So am I," says Cupid, "in two months, I got Valentine's Day! It's not always about Santa, you know. It's because I'm Greek, isn't it?"

"Not now," says Snow.

"We gotta get back up," I said.

So, we ran to find Kristin!
