Jasmine, Christian, and Vasilisa arrive at Queen Tatiana's residence. Christian reached over to take Jasmine by the right hand and said, "Don't let your nerves get to you." Just stay calm, remembering just to breath if powers tried to surface, and soon we can leave Queen Tatiana's residence. I will always be here for you. Like you were for me. Your my best friend. Jasmine kept her breath slow and calm. Vasilisa looked over at Christian and watched how he spoke calm words to Jasmine fears, just easy on her nerves. She wishes Christian would speak to her like that, so loving and kind. Vasilisa realizes that Jasmine was there for him, just as she should have been for Jasmine when she needed her most. But Vasilisa totally missed Christian at night and wished that he would hold her in his arms again. Christian gave Jasmine a sexy smile, not realizing that she was driving Christian mad with a passion for Jasmine.
Jasmine reached out and knocked on the front door of Queen Tatiana's residence. The doors open to a male dhampier with black hair and brown eyes. Ambrose said, "Rose and Vasilisa." I took Ambrose back and found out that Rose had identical twin sisters. Ambrose, remember that that was Aunt Rhonda's, had spoken about identical twin sisters with two different magic gifts, one more powerful than the other. Jasmine, Christian, and Vasilisa walked inside. Dimitri felt the bond around his right wrist tighten to let him know Jasmine was nearby. He moved his eyes to the double doors to watch them slowly open to relive the moment Jasmine, Christina, and Vasilisa arrived at the ballroom.
Everyone's eyes went to them. Jasmine was wearing a black V-neck long formal dress and her hair was pulled back with a gold hairpin. Christian was in a black suit and black tie. Vasilisa was wearing a pink Sherri Hill ball gown, and her hair was pinned up. The Royals didn't expect Dhampir to arrive with Dragomir Princess, Lord Christian Ozera, to this highly anticipated, invitation-only dinner, that queen dinner.
Nathan Ivashkov walked in front of Jasmine, Christian, and Vasilisa. Nathan said, "It's so pleasant to see you again, "Guardian Jasmine Hathaway." Jasmine said, "The pleasure is all mine." Nathan asked, "What is the reason that you came to this party?" Jasmine said, "I was invented by Queen Tatiana herself. Adrian and Rose slowly walked up. Adrian said, "Father!" Nathan turned his head to Adrian, standing next to him, and said, "Drinking already?" We haven't had dinner yet. Adrian exclaimed to his father, "There are other people who would like to speak to Guardian Jasmine Hathaway, and not just you." Nathan said, "Shut up! Adrian "
Rose moved away from Adrian and Nathan. Rose came and stood next to Jasmine, Vasilisa, and Christian. Rose turned to Vasilisa and said, "You look nice tonight, Liss." Vasilisa said, "Thank you!" Rose. Jasmine just stood there looking at both Rose and Vasilisa talking and acting like they weren't standing there.
Both Christian and Jasmine walked by Dimitri. When Dimitri was listening, he heard Christian say, "This is bullshit! Let's go get some punch or a drink or two. Jasmine said, "This party would be a lot cooler." They change classic music to rock, pop, or something that we could dance to too. Christian said, "Now! That would be a party because someone, by the end of the night, is getting nude. Jasmine said, "You know, Adrian dared me to do it." Christian said, "I will never forget that night." How hard the guardians at the academy had to work to chase you all over the academy grounds to catch you. Jasmine said, "But they never catch me." Dimitri thought, "Damn you, "Tasha." I could have been one to chase her all over the grounds to stop her." Christian said, "Captain Alberta was madder than hell until she found who the nude girl was running the academy." Captain Chase walked up behind Christian and Jasmine. He reached up and tapped Jasmine on the shoulder. Jasmine slowly turns around to face the person who tapped her on her shoulder, only to find it was Captain Chase. Jasmine said, "Captain Chase." Is it so nice to see you? Captain Chase said, "That you looked amazing in that dress tonight." Jasmine said, "Thank you!"
Christian turns around to face Nathan and Adrian Ivashkov, still quarreling about Adrian's drinking. Captain Chase looked at Jasmine. Looking across the room at Rose to find that identical twin, I never realized how much Rose and Jasmine are alike. Captain Chase asked, "Can I talk to you alone?" Christian said, "No!" Anything you have to say to my guardian, you can say in front of me. Dimitri's surprise at finding a Christian didn't seem like Captain Chase's moving on Jasmine, in which case Dimitri could understand if Jasmine was a woman.
Captain Chase and Jasmine stood next to Christian. Jasmine just looked at Captain Chase and waited to speak to her about something. Dimitri moved closer to better listening to Captain Chase and Jasmine's communication. Christian said, "What do you want to ask of my guardian?" Dimitri could see that Captain Chase looked nervous about something. Captain Chase said, "Is there something that I would like to ask you?" Before you say anything, I would like you to think about the minute. Would you like to have dinner with me tomorrow night? Jasmine said, "No!" For the first time in his life, Captain Chase was surprised to hear a woman tell him no. Captain Chase said, "Why?" Jasmine said, "I will leave to return to college soon." Besides, my boyfriend may have a problem if his girlfriend goes out on a date with someone else.
Captain Chase asked, "How did you like the Christmas gifts?" Jasmine cocked her head to the right and looked puzzled. Captain Chase said, "Fresh long-stem roses, a bottle of Jack Daniels, a box of chocolate-covered strawberries, and a teddy bear." Jasmine said, "You're the one who sent them to me?" Captain Chase said, "Yes!" Jasmine said, "That it was so sweet of you to send them to me." Jasmine turned her head to the right and stared at Dimitri. I spoke in Russian. (не солал.) Besides, it wasn't like there weren't plenty of other distractions. They did this room all in silver and midnight blue. Midnight blue silk clothes covered the tables, so shiny and smooth that Christian, Rose, Vasilisa, and Jasmine were terrified to eat on them. Sconces of beeswax candles hung all over the walls, and a fireplace decorated with stained glass crackled away in one corner. The effect was a spectacular panorama of color and light, dizzying to the eye. In the corner, a slim Moroi woman played piano music, her face dreamy as she focused on the song. The clinking of crystal wine glasses complimented the ivory keys' low, sweet notes.
As the guardians were standing around the room monitoring the room, someone might have done something to the queen. Dimitri would glance over to make sure Jasmine, Rose, Christian, or Vasilisa weren't doing anything out of place or doing something wrong. Furthermore, if Jasmine's abilities manifest, he would take the steps to remove her from everyone without making a scene. But I thought Jasmine looked so sexy in that dress tonight. How he loves to take her out of it.
Christian, Vasilisa, Rose, and Jasmine found dinner equally amazing. The food was elaborate, but Jasmine thought more food on these plates recognized everything on our plate (china, of course) and liked all of it. Salmon in a sauce of shiitake mushrooms. A salad with pears and goat cheese without tomatoes on hers Adrian made sure that the salad had something in it or on it. Delicate almond-stuffed pastries, our only complaint was that the portions were small. The food seemed more like it was there to decorate the plates, and Jasmine was still hungry. Jasmine finished her plate in eight bites. Meanwhile, Vasilisa and Christian still had food on their plates. Vasilisa and Christian glanced at Jasmine with an empty plate and could hear her stomach rumbling. Christian asked, "Is Jasmine still hungry?" Jasmine said, "Yes!" After we leave here, we are going to eat some proper food, maybe some sushi.
Adrian glanced over at Jasmine and Rose and discovered their plates were empty. Adrian raised his hand, calling over a server and ordering him to please bring more food for Jasmine and Rose. Remind the server not to bring Jasmine anything that has tomatoes on it or in it. The server nods his head at Adrian and lets the room go. A new server took Jasmine and Rose's plates.

Queen Tatiana called from the head of the table, calling for Guardian Jasmine Hathaway. Everyone in the room. I became silent to listen to the conversation. Queen Tatiana asked, "What do you think of this Rogue Guardian that just appeared in Manhattan about six months ago?" Jasmine said, "I imagine that this Rogue Guardian could do you a great favor by striking out against the strigoi." By killing over a hundred of them in the past six months, it could send them a message."
Queen Tatiana asked, "What do you believe the message might be?" Jasmine said, "The message could be to strike fear into the strigoi, as they have done to us. That someone is more dangerous than they are. Queen Tatiana asked, "What would that be, dear?" Jasmine said, "Hope, loyalty, and faith for a better world. So our children don't have to hide from the monsters of the shadows in the dead of the night. Many other guests could see a better world for their children.
Queen Tatiana asked, "What do you think about sending guardians to Manhattan to discover and catch the rogue guardian?" Jasmine, There are many ways that I could answer your question. You send your guardians into Manhattan. Have you stopped to think about your actions and the reaction they caused by sending our guardians into Manhattan? That might be a bad thing. Our people are going to turn to you for answers. Try to understand why our Queen chose to send our guardians on the battlefield with no information first. People might think or start questioning you. They believe it might be time for you to step down from the crown. Everyone was surprised by Jasmine's answer.
Before Queen Tatiana could say anything, Jasmine spoke again. I believe if we had a brilliant battle plan, I'd be waiting for the right time to get more information about this rogue guardian. Before you decide to send our guardians into Manhattan, we don't need our guardians to get hurt, turn strigoi, and find nothing or no trace of the rogue guardian. What if the rogue guardian had saved our guardians because of your mistakes? What if this rogue guardian has moved on to the next location, or just vanished without a trace? Everyone is going to turn to you in disbelief. We know that the Queen has sent our guardians to their deaths, or made the mistake of believing that you could catch the guardian. Have you stopped to think that our people have something to believe in? A warrior rises in our darkest times of need to fight back against the monsters of the night. Giving our people hope, faith, and belief in a higher power that could lead this rogue Guardian. Adrian said, "Well put, Jasmine." Take a drink of his wine. Queen Tatiana said, "I have much to consider about my decision to send our guardians to Manhattan." Guardian Jasmine Hathaway shares her thoughts on the rogue guardian. Jasmine searched to see if her mother's face had a small smile before her guardian mask came back on. Vasilisa stared at Jasmine, finding it surprising that the idea could give our people hope for a better world. Vasilissa gives Jasmine a smile. Dimitri, Janine, Eddie, Rosa, and other guardians around the room could totally understand where Guardian Jasmine Hathaway was coming from. They would need a brilliant battle plan to make Manhattan.
Guardian Steel stepped next to Jasmine and gave her a piece of paper. Guardian Steel stepped back from the table and stood next to the wall. Jasmine opens notes to find the Guardian building tomorrow for a meeting. Dimitri watched Guardian Steel with Jasmine and paper. Christian knew Jasmine was the rogue guardian and wasn't told. He thought to himself that Jasmine could buy more time in Manhattan without having to worry about the stupid guardians getting in the way. Christian looked down, seeing the paper, and took it from Jasmine, opening to read it. Christian gives some nod.
(After Dinner)
Liss said, "We have to mingle now." Jasmine was playing with her hair and feeling embarrassed and unsure of herself. Christian said, "No! Liss. Jasmine and I are going on the dance floor to dance. Christian led Jasmine onto the dance floor and away from Vasilisa.
Vasilisa walked over to Rose and Adrian, sitting together at the table. Vasilisa said, "Christian has changed from what I remember." Adrian said, Maybe his balls dropped and he got a backbone. Rose said, "Adrian!" Vasilisa said, "Christian has paid no mind to me at all." Adrian said, "Have you thought Christian might have a girlfriend back in California?" Vasilisa said, "No!"
Adrian looked at Christian's aura and saw light pink, indicating that Christian had a crush on Little Nova. Adrian smiled and said, "The cradle robber will not like that." Rose asked, "What is it?" Adrian said, "Christian has a crush on Little Nova." Vasilisa and Rose turn to Adrian and are surprised to find out that Christian had a crush on Jasmine.
Christian and Jasmine started dancing with each other to the song by Ricky Martin: Nobody Wants to Be Lonely. Christian glances down with icy blue eyes into Jasmine's golden eyes, loving how Jasmine changes color at any given time. Jasmine gives Christian a sexy smile and shows her fangs. Christian whispered, "Your fangs are showing." This made Jasmine stop smiling.
Jasmine had her arms around Christian's neck as they danced, and Christian put his arms around Jasmine's waist, pulling her close to him. In Jasmine's arms, Dimitri and Captain Chase want to be the ones in Jasmine's arms dancing on the dance floor. Dimitri watched as Christian started to move his hand down to Jasmine's ass and pat her butt. Dimitri wanted to kill Christian for touching what he wanted was his. Jasmine reached around her self-moving Christian's hand to her lower back. Jasmine said, "I know you miss your play toy back at home, but don't get your hands." Christian said, "You're gorgeous in that dress." I would like to take you out of that dress. " Jasmine says, "Pyro!" I'm giving her a big smile.
Christian looked up to find Dimitri staring dead at him with an unhappy expression on his face. Christian gave him a sly grin and said, "I think your fucktoy is about to kill me." Jasmine said, "won't worry about the cowboy." He is in the doghouse anyway for lying about sending the flowers and other gifts. Christian asked, "Who sent them to you?" Jasmine said, "Captain Chase." Christian said, "Stay away from the horn-dog." Jasmine said, "I plan to." Christian asked, "When is the bond with Dimitri up?" Jasmine said, "in March." Christian said, "Tell me, how is the bond made?" Jasmine said, "Sex." Christian looked at Jasmine and smiled. Christian said, "Tell me more about it." Queen Tatiana said, "It would please me if you would join and become one of my top queen's guards." Jasmine answered, "I must decline your request to become one of your top guards." I believe that my education is more important than keeping Lord Ozera safe. Lord Ozera and I both study at the same college. Maybe one day I will be ready. But not this day. "
Queen Tatiana said, "Sorry to hear that. But if you believe in your education and keeping Lord Ozera safe, then come first. May I ask what you studied? " Jasmine said, "business, management, and education." Queen Tatiana said, "Why study that? Jasmine said, "It has been my dream to start and manage my own academy to train the best guardians." Jasmine and Christian turn back to face each other. Jasmine put her arms around Christian's neck, and Christian put his arms around Jasmine's waist. As Christian said, tonight has to be the wildest night. Jasmine said, "No one dies." Christian said, "I'm happy that I turned down Bitch's request to become one of her top guards." Jasmine said, "I hate to tell her all the top guilds are fucking jokes." Besides, I enjoy my life and get out with my best friend.
Jasmine leans up and kisses Christian on the cheek. Christian said, "Time to leave the stupid party." Before more stupid-wielding shit happens, Jasmine nods at Christian's statement. Stopping at the bar and taking the best two bottles of whiskey each, they had both started heading for the front doors, around everyone that might want to stop them from leaving the queen's house.
