Jasmine was sitting in a small cafe on the strip having her breakfast: an apple cinnamon roll muffin and a cup of hot cocoa without marshmallows. Using her laptop, she is looking for jewelry stores in Philadelphia to sell off all the jewels that she collected from dead strigoi in Manhattan. She knew that Abe would take all the cellphones and use them in the line of work that he did. They paid $75.00 for each and about a hundred cellphones. But Abe made more money off them later by selling them to people he knew.
Dimitri was walking through the small cafe, heading to the gym to find Jasmine and ask for forgiveness. The magic bond tightened around his wrist, letting Dimitri know Jasmine was nearby. He turned his head to find Jasmine sitting at one of the tables in the back with her back to the wall and kept his eyes on the room. Dimitri thought it was a good idea because if something happened, they wouldn't be able to get a jump on you.
Dimitri walked inside and up to the counter to order his coffee. Dimitri kept his eyes on Jasmine and could see how beautiful she was wearing a cotton basic button-down shirt, a slim fit dress shirt with the top two buttons undone, showing some skin with all of it, and a black three-button vest. Jasmine's hair was in a ponytail. Jasmine looked so businesslike.
Dimitri walked over and sat down in front of Jasmine. Jasmine was listening to music and typing on her laptop. Dimitri reached over to touch Jasmine's arm to get her to look up at him. Jasmine looked up at him with sad puppy eyes, making Dimitri feel bad about lying to her about the flowers and other gifts. Dimitri said, "I am so sorry that I lied about the gifts." Please forgive me. Jasmine said, "I forgive you." If you tell me why you did it," "Jasmine looked back into Dimitri's eyes and said, "After I saw your gifts for me, I felt my gifts to you were cheap."
Jasmine said, "I'm surprised at you, Cowboy." I would have thought, you know, if it comes from the heart, it makes it worth more than a simple price tag. But taking credit for something that you didn't do doesn't mean shit. Make me feel that you don't care about me at all, just out for sex. Dimitri said "No!" I care about you and your future.
Jasmine said, "What do you know about my future?" Dimitri said, "I hear that Queen Tatiana asked you to become one of her top guardians." But you decline her offer to become a queen guardian. Jasmine turned off her laptop and put it back in her backpack. Looking up and saying, "You damn right I did." I believe that my education is more important than keeping Lord Ozera safe. Dimitri said, "Baby girl." There have been guardians that worked their full lives to become one of the Queen's guardians. Jasmine said, "Good for them." I have plans for my life. Sitting around being someone's lapdog isn't one of them.
Jasmine stood up and reached down, picking up the jacket and putting it on. Dimitri stood up and said, "Baby girl, please! I understand you want to build your own academy to make better guardians. But this is a once-in-a lifetime deal you are passing up. "
Jasmine's eyes changed color from light brown to gold. Jasmine said, "Shut up! I am so sick of people always telling me. What should I do with my life? I did not realize I was dreaming of a better life than what I gave to us. My dream of building my own academy keeps me going. You know, when my body was broken after the rap, I would work so hard and long on my dream to stop now. You could help or get the hell out of my way. "
When a voice from the past said, "Damn!" Rose just kicked your ass to the curb. Jasmine said, "Great! One more pain in the ass to worry about. Putting her head on Dimitri's chest. Dimitri put his hands around Jasmine's back and began pulling Jasmine to keep her safe and away from Damon.
Damon, what are you doing here? Damon said he was sent here by Queen Tatiana on a special mission to be sent to Manhattan to search for and catch the rogue guardian. Jasmine knew they were going to have a hard time catching and searching for the rogue Guardian when she was in court and not in Manhattan.
Damon asked, "Do you know where Jazz might be right now?" Dimitri said, "Have you checked the gym or running track? Damon said, "No! " Dimitri said, "Captain Chase of the Queen Guardians has been chasing after Jasmine for a while now." He asked her out to be his girlfriend. Damon said, "My big brother is chasing after break Angel." Jasmine and Dimitri were surprised to find out that Damon had a big brother. Damon said, "Ricky is a player." He always has a new girl on his arm every week. That son of a bitch is after my girl. I teach him a new lesson and warn him not to bother my turns around storms out of the small cafe to give a brother a piece of his mind.
Jasmine pulled back and said, "I didn't know that Damon was coming to court or that Ricky was Damon's brother." I'm sorry! I get upset with you. Dimitri leaned down, kissed Jasmine's forehead, and said, "I never meant to upset you."
Dimitri changed the subject and asked where they were running off to today wearing that. Jasmine said, "I have some business in Philadelphia to take care of with Christian." Jasmine reached down, picking up the backpack and putting it on. Dimitri asked, "What are you doing later?" Jasmine said, "I have a guardian meeting in the guardian building on making the best plans for Manhattan to catch Rogue Guardian." If Damon is part of the team that was sent to Manhattan, that team doesn't have a change in hell of catching Rogue Guadrian. Jasmine kissed Dimitri before starting to walk to the door to find Dimitri standing over everyone looking at him." Dimitri thought he was going to that meeting with Jasmine.

Knock on Jasmine's guest room door. Jasmine gets up from the sofa, walks over to the door, and opens it to find a message with two packages for Jasmine. The message asked, "Guardian Jasmine Hathaway?" Jasmine said, "Yes! I am Guardian Jasmine Hathaway. " The message gave Jasmine two packages, and she walked away. Jasmine turns around and steps inside. She used her foot to close the door behind her. Abe stopped the door from closing and walked inside. Jasmine said, "Papa!" Abe said, "little flower."
Jasmine asked, "Do you want something to drink?" Abe said, "Yes! Jasmine said, "whiskey or scotch?" Abe asked, "Where did you get scotch?" Jasmine said, "Adrian came over last night and left one unopened bottle here last night." Jasmine set the box and envelope on the coffee table, then walked over to the bar and started making Abe scotch. She walked over the scotch to Abe.
Abe said, "Tell me about yourself." Jasmine asked, "What do you mean?" Abe said, "your powers." Jasmine said, "I'm called the ultimate element." I can control all seven elements, not just one. " Abe found that to be surprising and said, "There are only five elements." Jasmine said, "Wrong! There are four normal elements, which are fire, water, air, and earth. Their three rare spirits are metal, and lighting. Dr. Olendzk from St. Vladimir's Academy hospital wing. Dr. Olendzk did tests on Rosie and me and found out that we both have gen codes that are totally different from any Moroi or Dhampier markers. I mean, a rare dhampir's "Rosie is shadow-kissed, and I am an element." ""Captain Albert knew it was best that we hide the facts about Rosie and myself from anyone."
Please understand, I need to get information on which mobs were dealing with Kirova's situation at St. Vladimir's Academy. Jasmine said, "So you came to get information from me?" I thought you might want some father-daughter time before I return to Manhattan. But I need that information. Abe walked over to Jasmine, put his hands on Jasmine's shoulders, and said, "I love time to spend together." But I really need that information. " Jasmine said, "No! When Rogue gets information on you get your intel on which mobs had dealings with Vladimir's Academy. Abe could see Jasmine wasn't stumbling and didn't back down. He soon realized that Jasmine was a female version of himself, while Rose was just like Janine.
Abe knew that he had put his foot down as her father. "Jasmine Zoey Hathaway, I know for a fact that you are the Rogue Guardian and the Element. So don't play with me, little girl. " Jasmine found in her father's voice and eyes that he wasn't playing. Jasmine looked into Abe eyes seeing they where brown. She started feeling weak under them. Jasmine said, "L.A. Mafia and the Albanian Mafia." Abe was surprised to learn that the L.A. Mafia and the Albanian Mafia had infiltrated his playground. Jasmine asked, "I'm sorry!" Please don't be mad at me. I have waited my whole life to meet you. " Abe reached out, pulling his daughter into his arms, and said, "Sorry that you waited your whole life to meet me." Thank you for saving us from the strigoi and still being our biggest fan. Jasmine put her arms around her father's waist and hugged him.
Jasmine asked, "Do you have all the information that I have on both this L.A. Mafia and the Albanian Mafia and their bank accounts with Head Mistress Kirova's account?" Abe was surprised to discover that his daughter was smart enough to get information and account numbers for all three of them. Abe said, "Yes! Everything!" Jasmine said, "I will be right back, walking into the bedroom." Jasmine came walking back, sitting down on the sofa and opening the laptop. Turn on the laptop, and wait for it to boot up. Jasmine reached into the bag, pulling a few memory chips, putting them in the computer, and an opening window showing information. Abe was surprised that Jasmine had all the information and more about everything that was happening at St. Vladimir's Academy, including head mistress Kirova, the L.A. Mafia, and the Albanian Mafia.
Abe asked, "Why do you want to know where Braxton is?" Jasmine looked at Abe and said, "Braxton raped me when I was thirteen, on the side of the road, ten miles from the academy." Braxton was the first strigoi that raped me that night and the last to die. Braxton, breaking my body and drinking from me. He thought it was funny. Abe's face when cold and anger shot through him understand why now that your daughter wants to know where Braxton is. Braxton did that to his daughter after finding out. Abe turns to Jasmine and sees her head cocked like his when puzzled about something. Think of a father like daughter.
Abe asked, "What is going to happen when we find Braxton?" Jasmine said, "I am going to take my time killing him and enjoy myself." He broke his bones repeatedly, bleeding out and pulling out his fangs with pliers, making him scream in pain. Then I will set him to burn. " Abe said, "Sounds like a party!"
Jasmine said, "How did you figure out that I was a rogue Guardian?" Abe said, "Rogue has a dhampier body and the power of the magic of Moroi at the Christmas party." The answer was staring me in the face. I was surprised that my other friends and sister didn't see it either. Jasmine said, "You can't tell anyone that I'm the Rogue Guardian." Abe said, "Baba, keep your secret and get your new gear." Jasmine smiled and said, "Thank you!"
"Why did you kill the strigoi in Manhattan? Jasmine said, "a few reasons that kill them." One, I saw strigoi on the streets of Manhattan doing what they pleased. The second is for the money. The third is to kill as many strigoi as I can. The last is because my best friend, Christian, and I go to college and are good hunting grounds for strigoi. A lot of places to hide. Abe asked, "Where do you live in New York?" Jasmine said, "at Monarch Heights, 415 W. 120th St., New York, on the 9th floor in the same building you do." Abe smiled at Jasmine as he inquired about their daughter's whereabouts in New York.
Abe said, "Tell this academy that it's going to be built." Jasmine said, "I am going to build my academy to help unwanted, dhampier children." While in Russia, I saw dhampier children just running the streets with no one taking care of them. How come St. Basil's Academy wouldn't do anything to stop it? They said it wasn't their problem. I decided right there. I was going to build my own academy. To demonstrate to someone that they desired, I would take them and give them a safe place to stay while training them to be the best guardians and have a better life. Abe smiled at Jasmine and said, "That's my girl." Jasmine hands the memory cards to Abe. Abe put the memory cards in his pocket and said, "You make me so proud." Jasmine said, "Father like daughter." Now I understand that I like you and not your mother. Rosie is like a mother and not like you. I always felt different than them. Abe hugged Jasmine and said, "My little flower."

There was a knock on the door, and Jasmine turned off the laptop. Getting up, I walked over to the door and opened it to find Tasha standing on the other side of it. Jasmine crossed her arms over her chest and said, "Natasha Ozera." "What brought you to my door?" Tasha said, "Jasmine!" We need to speak about something important. Jasmine asked, "Come inside and let's chat."
Tasha walked right past Jasmine to discover Abe Mazur sitting on the sofa. Jasmine closes the door, making Tasha jump. Tasha said, "I didn't know that you had a guest." Jasmine just stood there like a stone-looking witness, watching Tasha react, finding Abe sitting on the sofa. Abe raised his glass, letting Jasmine know he needed more.
"Natasha! It's good to see you again. Abe said. Tasha said, "Mr. Mazur, I was shocked to find you in Jasmine's guest room." Jasmine walked over to Abe and took his glass from him. Turn around and walk over to the bar and refill his glass before returning it to him. I picked him up. Abe nodded at Jasmine. Jasmine spins around to face Natasha, Jasmine asking, "What is the reason that you came to my daughter's door?"
Tasha said, "Come back to get the guardian that she took me." Jasmine spoke in a hard tone, and Natasha, you broke the law. " Under guardian code 15-26 B. Any act that Moroi does to anyone's guardian is punishable by law, and that act will get their guardian stripped away. Abe glanced at Jasmine and said, "What do you mean?" Jasmine said, "Natasha Ozera has made two temps in my life." The first time was at the lodge in Idaho at the age of seventeen years old. She compelled Rosie to put poison in cocoa and send it to my room. I end up turning into a two-year-old toddler. The second was on December 16 of this year. Natasha served me chicken lasagna with a creamy white sauce. But she didn't tell me that tomato flack in chicken lasagna. Natasha knew that I was deadly allergic to tomatoes. Everyone had reminded her that she couldn't have tomatoes. Thank God! I had my EpiPen in my backpack. Guardian Belikov and Mom ended up taking me to the hospital.
Abe's head snapped back around, and he stared at Natasha. Abe's voice became hard, and he said to Natasha Ozera, "How dare you go after my child?" You need a new lesson on showing respect for my family." Natasha dashed for the door. Jasmine knocked Natasha to the ground and stood above her. Looking at her golden eyes, looking down at her like prey. Abe smiled to watch his daughter keep her guard up and her eyes on her like a hawk. Abe gets up from the sofa, walks behind Jasmine, and puts a hand on her shoulders Jasmine said, "Where do you think you're going in a hurry?" It seems that your karma is going to come to collect your debt. Natasha is nervous.
When the door opened, two unknown guardians stepped into the room. Take Natasha Ozera to the car, Abe said. Both guardians moved on Natasha and seized her. Natasha said, "I'm sorry!" She had no idea what would happen to her.
Abe turns to Jasmine, finding that her eyes have changed color from light brown to a gold color. Abe said, "Be a good girl for Baba now." As Abe kissed Jazz's forehead, Jasmine said, "As you wish, papa!" Abe walked over to the bar and picked up the bottle of scotch. Saying, "This comes with me," Jasmine smiled to show her fangs to Abe.
In Jasmine's guest living room, Dimitri said, "Where is Abe going?" Jasmine said, "Papa has business to take care of with Natasha." Dimitri said, "What kind of business?" Jasmine said, "I didn't ask." Papa wasn't happy with Natasha Ozera. Papa stated that Natasha needs a new lesson on respect for his family. Dimitri asked, "What was the reason that Tasha came here?" Jasmine spun around and said, "You!"
