Janine was heading for guest housing to apologize for having to cancel dinner last night. Recalling what happen, when no one came to Jasmine's surprise party, and the storm came after. Last night, Vasilisa, Rose, Abe, Guardian Belikov and herself didn't leave Queen Tatiana's chamber in time for dinner until early morning in human time. Janine had been so worried about her daughter Jasmine passing out after touching stone figure. She really wants to know what Jasmine must have seen.
But they had spoken to Queen Tatiana and Guardian Council for hours. We had answered different questions about the Rogue Guardian. Vasilisa, Rose and Guardian Belikov had stated when the Rogue Guardian appeared and saved their lives from the strigoi. Rogue Guardian never spoke a single word to them and they couldn't tell if male or female.
Janine thought it truly brave that this Rogue Guardian to single hand enter a nest of strigoi, fighting up four floors to save Princess Vasilisa and her two guardians. Janine more surprise to founding out that Ibrahim had hired the Rogue Guardian to save the Princess Vasilisa and two her guardians. The Guardians questioned Ibrahim for hours about how he had got Rogue to agree save Princess and Guardians? Ibrahim stated Rogue Guardian never spoke a single word to him. He couldn't tell if male or female.
Guardian Steel asked how did you find the Rogue Guardian? Ibrahim stated that the Rogue Guardian saved him and Guardian Pavel behind Gentlemen's Club in New York. Janine wasn't happy to discover Ibrahim had gone to Gentlemen's Club. She knew that would have a long communicated with him later about going place like that. But Janine understood why he asked Rogue Guardian to save Princess and Guardians. Our daughter Rosemarie was one guardian. Ibrahim started he believed Rogue Guardian was doing the right thing by saving all human, dhampier, Moroi life, against the strigoi.
Janine arrived at Jasmine's guest room door and knocking on the door in hoping Christian or Jasmine would open the door soon. She listens to any noise coming from the room and alone getting silent. Started getting worried. She reached down and tried to turn the knob to find it locked. Janine knocked harder on the door again. No one answer the door at all and Janine started getting worried something could happen to Jasmine or baby Sierra Dawn. She turned around, walked back-to-front desk in hope she could get someone open the door.
Janine arrived at the front desk and ring the bell. The woman looked up from her book and said, hello! Guardian, Is there something that I could help with this afternoon? Janine said, My daughter is staying in the guest room 259. Can you please call room and let her know that her mother is here? Woman asked, what is your daughter's name? Janine said, Guardian Jasmine Hathaway. The woman typed into the computer and said, I sorry to inform you at Guardian Jasmine Hathaway and her Moroi Christian Ozera have already checked out this morning. The woman said, is your name Guardian Janine Hathaway by any chance? Janine said, Yes! The woman said, Guardian Jasmine Hathaway left something for you. Woman open the desk, reached inside, pulled out the envelope and hand to Janine. Janine said, Thank you.
Janine reached into her pocket and pulled out her cellphone. Janine called Jasmine cellphone. It rang three times before Jasmine's voice mail picked up and said; You have reached Guardian Jasmine Hathaway cellphone. Sorry couldn't answer your call. So please leave name and I will you call back soon I can. Janine said, This your mother. Please call me as soon as you get his message. Hung up. Started dialing Abe. Abe said, Hello in a sleepy voice. Janine said, Honey! We need to meet in the cafe in ten minutes. I have something important that we need to talk about. Abe could tell Janine had a tone to her voice and worried about something. Before Abe asked question Janine. She hung up on him.

Janine was sitting in the cafe, looking down at the envelope in her hand. Each second seem like hours to Janine as she waited for Abe to arrive at the cafe. As her mind was racing a mile a minute, trying to understand why would Jasmine and Christian just leave, letting no one know they were leaving court.
The sound of the bell rang made Janine snapped up to notice that Abe come walking inside wearing his lime green suit, and founding Janine sitting back at their table. Abe walked counter to get his large cup of coffee and two banana nut muffins. Before joining Janine at their table and asking what was reason, find the reason that she called so early. Abe walked over, sit down next to Janine, and asked something wrong? Janine said, Yes! This morning, I went to check on Jasmine to discover that Christian and Jasmine have already left court this morning.
Abe said, What! I told Christian last night to call me when Jasmine awake up. Abe reached into his pocket and pulled out his cellphone to notice a missed call from Christian. Abe said, oops! I forget I put my cellphone was silent while Queen's chamber. Janine just looked at Abe and said, before they left this morning. Jasmine left this envelope with the woman at the front desk until I arrived. Don't still don't know what is inside or the reason they leave telling no one. Abe said, open the envelope and let found the reason. Janine opens the envelope to find a piece of paper. As Janine started read the paper and trying to understand what daughter wrote.
Where old and new come to meet. Columns made of marble that stand tall, strong and all to see. Where kings and empire come to play. People come to win their fortune. They lose more than they take. Girls go to play and boys have to pay any day. Place where I can be shallow and deep for all to see. Someone that watch you come and go as you please and never leave. But we never meet. Place where I hang around for all to see. But we never speak. In a land with many colors, to search for something that is lost and secret that I keep. Many come to play. But there is alone one winner in the end.
Janine turn head, looked at Abe, and said, I don't understand. It sounds like a riddle. Abe took the letter and read to himself. Abe said, I believe Jasmine gets this riddle from the stone figure. If we figure out this riddle, it will help us find where the hell they run off to.
The door open, the bell rings, Dimitri enter the cafe, stop briefly and searching around in hoped that could find Jasmine or Christian. Lonely to discover Abe and Janine sitting at their table in the back of the cafe talking to each other. Heading to counter to getting himself enormous cup of coffee, before heading to speaking Abe and Janine. Dimitri got his large coffee from the woman behind the counter. Turn around and walked over to Abe and Janine.
Dimitri said, Good Morning! We have a problem? Janine said, Good Morning Guardian Belikov, what is your problem? Dimitri said, I went to see how Jasmine is doing this morning. But when I arrived at her Jasmine guest room just find out someone else already staying in her room and that discover that Christian and Jasmine both already left court this human time in the morning. Abe said, Guardian Belikov, we already know they left court. But we don't understand the reason they left telling no one or where they were going. Janine said, Jasmine left a letter behind for us to figure out the clues where they are going? Dimitri sits down at the table and Janine hand the letter. Abe said, We believe that Jasmine might have seen from the stone figure and it some kind of riddle. Dimitri took the letter and started reading to himself. Trying to understand the clues that Jasmine leave behind and find where they might have gone to find the next clue to this damn puzzled.
The door open and the bell rang again. This time Adrian, Rose and Vasilissa entered the cafe chatting like nothing was wrong. Abe, Janine and Dimitri stopped, turn to watch Adrian, Rose and Vasilissa acted like they don't have care in the world. Unknown'd to them that Jasmine and Christian had left court telling no one where they going. Abe, Janine and Dimitri as they watched them like a hawk as the order their breakfast before joining them at the table. Everyone said their good morning.
Adrian stopped eating and looked up to find three set eyes on them. Adrian asked, is something wrong? Janine said, we finding surprise all three of you acting that you don't have a care in the world. Unknown'd to you that Jasmine and Christian had left court this morning, letting no one know where and all, so leaving this riddle behind. Adrian said, Are you sure that they left court this morning? Because Little Nova mustang is still sitting in the park lot. Dimitri said, Something wrong! Jasmine would never leave her mustang behind. Baby girl loves her car.
Adrian asked, Could you pass the letter to me? I'll see if I might figure out what Little Nova is trying to say. Dimitri passed letter down to Adrian so that he could look at. Adrian took the letter and being to read paper. Soon solving the riddle that Jasmine had written. Adrian looking back up at everyone with giving his smile on his face and said, I surprise, guardians couldn't understand where Little Nova and Christian were heading. If you had read the clues much closer to the riddle, you would understand what Little Nova was saying. Dimitri asked what are getting at? Adrian said, the first part of the riddle is to give clues about the location.
Everyone was looking at Adrian and waiting for an answer. Adrian said they were heading to Caesar's Palace in Los Vegas, Nevada. Because Caesar's Palace is one of eleven oldest casinos left in Los Vegas, Nevada. The only casino that columns made of marble. Julius Caesar was a Roman Empire. Abe and Janine looked at each other, and surprising that Adrian had useful information for once.
When the alarms started going off, a red telephone behind the counter started ring in the cafe. The manager answer red telephone and started getting information that all guardians have become acted. The Royle Court is under attack by strigoi. All guardians must report to guardians' building for orders. Manager hang up telephone and said, Guardians! "Go Now" The manager reached over, flipping over cover to the big red button that goes with automatic shutters that cover the windows and door to the cafe until the attack was over.
Janine, Rose, Dimitri, few other guardians rushed out the door, as metal shields come down covering the windows and door. Locking Adrian, Vasilisa, Abe, other Moroi's and the humans inside the cafe until it was safe. Vasilissa said, I hope everyone will be all right. Abe said, the guardians have trained their whole life for attack. Janine, Rose, Dimitri know what they are doing. Besides, we need to work on the second part of the riddle and find out Jasmine is looking for.
