Everyone stood in front of the elevator waiting for it arrive. So they could take it down to the ground floor. So they all could go have dinner together like a family. Jasmine had felt like something wrong. But she couldn't put her finger on it. As the doors opened to elevator, everyone stepped inside. Dimitri asked, "Baby girl, is something wrong?" Jasmine said, "I get the weird feeling something bad is going to happen today." Dimitri said, "Baby girl, nothing bad going to happen today. You're just hungry after a long sleep you had." Christian was listening to Jasmine speaking, saying having one of her feeling. He comes to trust her feeling. They always on the money that something bad would happen. Dimitri and Jasmine were last ones on to the elevator. Jasmine reached over and pushes the button to ground floor.
Adrian said, "I bet they have excellent wines here at Caesar's Palace." Jasmine said, "I would expect they would have the finest wines here in one of the eleven oldest casinos in Los Vegas. But did you know Caesar's Palace owner and run by a dhampier?" Adrian said, "No! Didn't know that. That surprising to discover that a Dhampier is owner and runs this casino." Jasmine said, "Oh, really! Do you think every little of us dhampier? Do you believe or think we are only to be a blood whores or guardians?" Adrian said, "Yeah!" Jasmine said, "Really?" Everyone knew that load question for Adrian. Jasmine said, "Most Morori look down their noses at us dhampiers. When we don't fit into your molds, what Moroi judge on us we should be. So next time, you appropriate your mouth to communicate something dumb! Maybe you need to think about it first. If not, Papa can smack you around like a little bitch that you are." Abe smiled.
When Jasmine heard the small sound of metal scrape together before the elevator started jolts and sudden stop between floors. Vasilisa said, "What is going on?" The lights went out a few seconds before coming back. Jasmine said, "Well, I would guess that we have stopped between floor on the thirty-five floor." Janine reached over and push the button for the call of help. A few seconds went by and no one answer the call for help. Jasmine knew that help wasn't coming soon, and that she would have saved everyone again. So Jasmine headed sound again of metal rubbing together again. Jasmine peers up at top elevator to locate an escape hatch. She slowly moved to left backside under escape hatch and said, "Cowboy, come here. I need your help." Everyone moved around so that Dimitri standing next to Jasmine.
Jasmine said, "give me a boost." Dimitri asked, "What are you about to do?" Jasmine said, "Trust me! I need to see something." Dimitri reached up to unleash the escape hatch, and pushed it open. Janine asked, "What do you think you are doing?" Jasmine said, stepping outside. Abe knew Jasmine was best saved for them being the Rogue Guardian. Dimitri put his hands together and Jasmine put her foot in his hands to boost her thought of the escape hatch.
(Few second later)
Jasmine's head peered back through the escape hatch to find Vasilissa crying loudly and had her face in Christian's chest. Abe said, "Janine, stop hitting the button. Soon they come to get us out of this elevator." Janine said, "You know I am Clautophobia." Abe reached out, taking Janine in his arms and said, "just take small breaths and you will be alright. Jasmine taking control and makes sure we all alright. You just have fate in her. She knows what she doing." Janine said, "She our your baby and so brave through all this stuff. What is going to happen if she breaks"?" Abe said, "We be there for her."
Jasmine said, "Loud voice, "Shut the fuck up and listen to me." Making everyone stop talking, turn around and stare at Jasmine. Jasmine said, "All of you need to listen to what I say is very important. We are really in big trouble right now. I have identified the problem of two gears that holding this elevator have a break and the brakes stop working. Please don't shift around too much, could make us fall. I have plan Pyro, myself are am going to work together to heat steel gears, then I going to use my metal magic to bond them to rails. But I don't know will remain long after. I'm hope it this give sometime for help show up or figure something else out." Adrian said, "Have you ever used your metal magic?" Jasmine said, "Yeah! Has anyone ever stop to consider how I made our necklaces without a mold.
Christian pushed Vasilissa away into Rose's arms and moved to where the escape hatch was. Dimitri helped to boost Christian through the escape hatch. Dimitri knew that this going in his journal on Jasmine. Founding out that Jasmine had used metal magic to creature something useful and beautiful all at the same time. Rose and Vasilissa looked at each other to discover out Jasmine had used metal magic in making their necklaces.
Dimitri said, "Be careful!" Jasmine pulled back through the escape hatch. Christian looked down at Dimitri and give him smirk, before using his foot to close the escape hatch. Dimitri thought you little asshole and what with that smirk.
(Ten minutes later)
The escape hatch open again, and Jasmine popped her head back through the escape hatch to find the others waiting for an answer. Jasmine said, "Listen up! Christian and I have finished molding steel around rails. But I don't know how they will last. I had to use a lot of magic to heat and mold steel. The only way that we are going to get out of here to climb to next floor up. So Rosie, Cowboy and Mommy could give me hand please." Dimitri said, "Roza, let's go." Vasilissa said, "No! I need her with me. Jasmine looked at Vasilisa and said, Shut up, Stop questioning me and do as you are fucking told. This is life and death. Do you want to live or not? Make a choice because I don't have all fucking day." It surprised everyone how Jasmine speaks to Vasilissa. Abe knew Jasmine wasn't in the mood for bullshit. Adrian could see Jasmine's aura and knew Vasilissa close to losing one of her loyal friend for years if she didn't back off and do as she was told. Adrian said, "Vasilissa, stop and look at Jasmine's aura."
Vasilissa turn head, started seeing Jasmine's aura, finding different colors and cracks in it. She realized Jasmine meant what she said. Vasilissa turn Rose and said, "Jazz was right, as guardian is your job and need stop impeding it. Help your sister and other guardians." Abe said, "Janine! Our daughter needs your help right now. You need to put your fear in the back of your mind. Stop thinking about it and help take control." Jasmine said, "Mommy! Help me! Janine shaped her guardian mask into place. Janine's mother in stick kicked in, hearing her daughter calling for her. She moved to Dimitri and put her foot in Dimitri to boost through the escape hatch and soon Rose followed behind her mother with Dimitri behind her.
Dimitri asked what is the plan?" Jasmine pointed elevator doors above them and said, "we need to open doors and the best way to escape the elevator shift." Dimitri shift his eyes to the breaks to discover Christian and Jasmine used their magic working together. Finding they had melted the metal around rails. Understanding why Christian kicked escape hatch close to keep air in the elevator so it wouldn't suck out to keep them live. While both worked hard to save their lives from a fall. Dimitri said, "soon I get the doors open. I come back down and help get others out of the elevator. Jasmine said, "Be careful."
Dimitri moved slowly to the wall and climb up the latter behind Janine to the door. Jasmine looked at Christian, give smile, before turning around and moving to the escape hatch. Jasmine said, "Papa! Mommy and Dimitri are getting the doors open." Abe slowly turn around and said, "The first person threw escape hatch is Sierra Dawn, Tiffany, Vasilissa, Adrian and myself." Jasmine reached down and grabbing Sierra Dawn's car seat and pulling threw hatch. Rose took the Sierra Dawn from Jasmine to make sure first cousin was alright. Rose found that Sierra sleeping through it and thought, to herself what a good girl. Christian found it surprising that Rose show a gentler side to her, then normal hard ass that would show everyone else. Jasmine reached back inside for Tiffany's hands and pulling her through escape hatch. Christian was making sure Jasmine didn't fall. Tiffany said, "Thank you! Jazz" Jasmine reached back inside to get Vasilissa's hands and said, "Uncle Adrian, could please help Vasilissa threw escape hatch. Don't just stand there with thumb up your ass!" Abe shoved Adrian and said, help both them.
Dimitri walked over to Jasmine behind and touch her shoulder, as Jasmine was trying to pull Vasilissa through the escape hatch. Dimitri grabbed Vasilissa's arms and helped Jasmine pulled her through the hatch. After Vasilissa was out elevator and said, "We need to communicate about things between us. I feel that drift apart." Jasmine give sharp look at Vasilissa. Vasilissa didn't know what kind of hell that Jasmine was going but her thought and unleash her feeling on her. Jasmine had waited to unleash until her. Jasmine said, "Good! I have a lot to express to you. You going to listen to every fucking word without speaking or talking back to me. You understand me?" Vasilissa said, "Yes!"
Dimitri finished pulling Adrian, and Abe threw the escape hatch. When elevator started rocking. Rose said, "We need to get off the elevator." Jasmine said, "Too much weight has shifted the elevator. We need to hurry and get off this elevator before it falls with us on it. Everyone, please moving slowly and be careful." Dimitri started sent everyone up the letter. Tiffany was first, Rose was next with Sierra Dawn. Behind her were Vasilissa, Adrian, and Christian, and then Abe was behind them. Dimitri last on the letter, when the elevator started moving down little by little, until it disappeared down the shift. Unknown to Dimitri that Jasmine wasn't behind him like he had thought.
Dimitri reached the door and hoped that Jasmine was behind him. Soon realizing that Jasmine wasn't behind like thought she was. Janine screamed, Jasmine!" Turn to Abe started crying in his chest, believing that had just lost younger daughter. Abe said, Jasmine died a hero! Rose stood like stone, realizing that twin sister life was just cut short. Adrian grabbed Rose, spinning her, and putting his arms around her. Tiffany said, "No! This can't happen." Tiffany started crying, felling to her knees. Vasilissa turn hugged Dimitri, putting her face into his chest and started crying. Sierra Dawn started crying for her mother. Dimitri thought he lost love of his life and started feeling numb while holding Vasilissa in his arms. Christian knew that he just lost his best friend, his guardian and Rogue Guardian and so much more in seconds.
(About two minutes later,)
When an arm appeared, reaching, and grabbing door frame. Jasmine was alive and still trying to climb up to save herself. Christian yelled out "Jasmine!" Everyone spins around to witness Jasmine slowly appear from elevator shift. Dimitri looked up to find Jasmine alive. As Jasmine slowly climbing through the door, Christian dashed forward to help her, started reached and grabbing Jasmine's right arm to help her out of the elevator shift.
Christian pulled Jasmine into the hallway, wrapping his arms around her, and pulled her to his chest. Christian started whispering something into her ear. The other couldn't hear him. But understood all he was saying. Jasmine said, "the next time, I say that I have a bad feeling about something. Please listen to me everyone. Papa, we are going long conversation with the owner of this casino. Because that elevator is a death trap." Abe said, "Don't worry about it, my little flower. Your Papa, know the owner of this casino and I do a lot of business with him a lot. Your let papa take care of this."
Jasmine said, "Too bad all have to walk down thirty-five floors to get to ground floor." Christian asked, "Jazz, something wrong?" Jasmine said, feeling drained after what happen in the elevator. I think I will return to our room and rest a little. Christian said, "I will join with Tiffany and baby." Abe said, "Agree, have Jasmine returned to their room. Jasmine could rest." Janine hugged her daughter and said, "You so brave in face of danger." Jasmine said, Well thank you Mommy.
Abe said, "Rest is good for you, my little flower. If you get a hungry call for room servers and need a feeder. Baba needs to communicate with the owner of the casino about the safe elevators in this casino." Dimitri asked, "baby girl, do you want me to come with you?" Christian said, "No!" Grabbing Jasmine's hand started heading down the hallway away from everyone.
Adrian said, "I am started think that Christian and Jasmine might have something going on." Vasilissa said, "I hope not!" Tiffany said, "They are already acting like a married couple. I wouldn't be surprise if they was already married." Tiffany slowly walking behind Jasmine and Christian and caring Sierra Dawn in arms and leaving everyone wonder what she meant by that.
