Survivor - Heroes vs Villains
Chapter 11 - Day 10
Okay. So here we are with episode four...
First things first, let's get this out the way. All of the winners are gone. Yep. They're both gone and they took Mario with them. And with them all gone, perhaps people have been waiting for a bit to see what's going to happen next. When will the actual bloodbath begin to start?
You're guess as good as the next person's, because I'm the only one that knows everything lol. But the thing with the Heroes team, people were actually beginning to plan before Sonic left. Apparently nobody wanted to do anything until he was finally out of the picture.
The Villains team,... I don't think anything too big is happening over there right now because they're on a massive winning streak right now and all ten of their members are still in the game. But could something happen over there, anyway?
Time to get moving!

EPISODE FOUR:Everything Is All Peaches and Cream
Heroes
Night 9
Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Zelda, Meta Knight, Vector, Shovel Knight, Golden
-/-
Down to seven members already...
If the Heroes lost another member again, it might as well have been a competition for the Sole Survivor on the blue team alone. As the saying went, one was a fool to be content with losing every single challenge, and then expected to win Survivor. It was somehow possible, but not likely in any way.
Clearly the seven players remaining at the camp had enough of it.
"We can't go back to tribal anymore..." Golden simply stated.
"No kidding..." Vector agreed. "I'm tired of losing... At least in my season my team won the third challenge."
"I won't be surprised if we get backlash from Sonic fans over this." Donkey Kong predicted. "Are we all Villains now that we've gotten rid of our first ever winner?"
"Well he was one of the bigger heroes and he has a loud fanbase, so naturally they expect things to go their way. People still don't understand that Survivor is not about people playing for the audience. How far did they expect him to go? Single digits?" Hahaha! "Sonic himself knew he had a high chance of going early. Your favorite player lost. Get over it and humble yourself because it's not going to bring him back. The dude's already won a season without anyone putting his name down. Not everybody has that to their credit. I didn't expect Sonic voting for Yoshi, though. What was up with that?"
"Yeah why did he write my name down?" The dinosaur in question was waiting for the time to ask. "I thought he was going to vote for Zelda, again..."
"That's what I figured as well." She hunched her shoulders. "And that was mainly because he wrote my name down twice before, and part of me honestly felt like he had to vote for somebody. But the fact that he put somebody else's name down probably meant he was doing it for a reason."
"...Well, what do you think the reason was, then?"
"Hmm... Can't seem to think of anything in particular, but something tells me that it might have something to do with me and you both making it to the end but not winning."
"Non winning finalists?" Golden cocked his head playing along. "I suppose that could be a reason. But still, why would we change his vote now? ...Because the whole strength thing wasn't really working anymore since we keep losing?"
"I suppose none of us really know what was going on in his mind unless we're Sonic himself." Shovel Knight presumed, quickly following Golden's lead. "But we need to move on. Other than focusing on our routine in camp, challenges are our top priority at this point. If we lose another member, nearly half the tribe would be eliminated while the Villains would remain in tact..."
"We need to start practicing for these challenges depending on what they are." Vector suggested. "There was actually a secret scene posted online about Ridley actually making us practice before we won our first challenge, but that didn't make the final cut. ...And you know, maybe I should start listening to him."
"That was my very first time having my name being written down." Yoshi obviously was still concerned about it. "And not for being a winner, that was a vote counted against me... And when that came up, even though I knew Sonic was going home, I felt a little uncomfortable. There could be any reason why anyone could put your name down out here, and I'm trying to figure out why would he change his vote to me. People think that it's because I'm also a non-winning finalist like Zelda,... but what if there was more to the story?"
"On the bright side we could say that since all the winners are gone plus Mario, I feel that the tribe as a whole could really start embracing our second chance now." Zelda said. "Everyone left has never won before, including the Villains. We're still on this tribe together, so let's focus on taking those Villains down."
"I'm with you on that." Donkey Kong replied. "Even though I'm sad I had to vote off Mario and Sonic, at the same time it is a weight lifted off my shoulders. I feel like I could move on now and focus on my game personally."
"We have good energy with each other. It's been a rough nine days, but all we could do now is move forward." Golden was ready.
"This losing streak of ours has got to to stop at this point." DK found there being no reason why the Heroes were unable to avoid Tribal Council from that moment on. "Mario's gone, Sonic's gone, Isabelle's gone... I'm really playing for myself now. Hopefully this means things should all go uphill from here, especially now that I don't actually need to worry about them anymore. ...I wish we would have voted with Sonic, but Meta wouldn't pull the trigger on Yoshi so the rest of us didn't... Rather frustrating, but hey, he's out of the picture. We're gonna win more challenges, I have an immunity idol, Golden's my right hand man, and I'm solid with Meta Knight and I think we have Shovel. Sounds like a solid four to me. I'm hoping that I will be here for the long run. So... no more losing challenges... Hopefully."
Hopefully was right.
The scene was not over yet, though.
Zelda found time to talk with Vector and Yoshi on the beach.
"No more losing challenges..." Vector shook his head. "No more..."
"Like, okay Survivor Gods. I get it now. I finally understand what losing so much feels like." Yoshi was fed up with it as well. "Can we finally win something please?'
"I promise you both that I will try my hardest to aid this team to victory." Zelda assured them. "We can not settle anything less than first in the next one... However, coming out of that tribal, the entire time I was wondering on why Sonic put your name down, Yoshi."
"Yeah..." That was of course still bothering him. "I never had my name written down before. Yet another first for me..."
"I've said at the shelter that it might have something to do with the two of us being non-winning finalists. However,... don't you guys think there is possibly more to the story?"
...Yes?
Vector and Yoshi both glanced at each other before back at the notorious damsel in distress.
"Now that you've mentioned it, that was something low-key in the back of my mind." Vector did not disagree. "Like,... nothin' against you of course, but since the vote was unanimous on Sonic and he supposedly knew it, but why did he change his vote instead of sticking with him writing your name down? It's a little bit confusing to be honest."
He then turned to his reptilian friend. "What did you ever do to him?"
"Nothing!" Yoshi immediately defended himself. "I was nice to him this whole time!"
"There had to be some reason. I would assume that Sonic approached the rest of the tribe with an idea that he had on his own, but judging by the talk, it doesn't seem to be the case here."
"What should I do?"
"You mean what should we do." Uh oh. Zelda was onto something... "I still think that me and you should work together... Are you two okay with each other?"
"Me and Yoshi are fine." Vector replied to her. "We were actually worried about us being targeted together, and now with Yoshi's name being written down makes things even more concerning."
"Well if the both of you want more numbers, how about all three of us align together?" And there it was. Alliances were really forming, now that the other three former Heroes were out of the picture. "Yoshi, you and I have both made to the end before. Vector, you were a big name in your season. You were a threat to win and you are good at challenges. You guys wish to be in an alliance together?"
"At this point? ...Hmm..." The crocodile thought out loud. "Might as well. We're with you, Zel... But let's hope we win this next challenge and we become a strong seven."
"Count me in." Yoshi was all over it.
"Yoshi being targeted in that round was eyebrow raising for me, because I was really thinking of aligning with him. Thank the Goddesses he did not get voted off, because now I'm officially aligned with him and Vector." Now things were really starting to get interesting. "Sure, Vector and Yoshi were in an obvious alliance before, but I think that is just as threatening as Yoshi and I making it to the end of the game in our seasons. And with Vector being good at challenges, I don't see a problem aligning with them. Also, Shovel Knight and I have been getting along rather well, so it's two on two. Now with all the big targets out the way, the game is still just beginning, and I feel like it's time to take advantage of that."
Villains
Day 10
Bowser, Sheik, Wolf, Ridley, Shadow, Ryu, Specter Knight, Plague Knight, Foxy, Springtrap
-/-
Back on Villain bea- Um, the lair, the Villains could not have been happier than ever. Challenge wise, they were on the biggest winning streak the show witnessed thus far and they were simply enjoying themselves all the while. They were laughing it up with each other, calmly doing camp maintenance, or simply lying down in the sand minding their business.
Bowser in particular was with Foxy Michaels, finding it amusing about how dominant they were in the game thus far.
"I think the Survivor Gods really felt sorry for me!" Koopa figured. "I honestly think that at this point. No way this guy goes from losing every single challenge to win four in a row. This is insane man! We've been on vacation for ten days straight now. Until the swap at least, I don't know if we're ever going to lose a challenge!"
"Yeah, I don't know either, but I don't really wanna find out right now." Foxy was pleased himself. "Any time when your team does not have immunity, the more tribals you go to, the greater possibility there is to have a target on your back and I don't want that to happen. People are gonna see me as a threat at some point so I'm just trying to last as long as I can. ...But yeah, all ten of us still being here is pretty sweet."
"I mean Mario's already gone!" Bowser pointed seemingly in the direction where the Heroes camp was, which was basically at random because he had no idea exactly where their camp was located in the first place. "If Sonic ain't gone when we get to the next challenge I'm gonna be shocked! He obviously should have gone home at this point."
He nodded in agreement. "I'm thinking they voted Mario off because they figured he was too close with Sonic from your season and gave Sonic himself another chance... only for them to lose again."
"Hahaha!" The lizard monster chuckled even harder. "They can't catch a break, but I have no sympathy for them because now they know how it feels to lose all the time, when here I am having the time of my life!"
"It really is something knowing that I've gone from losing every challenge to... winning every challenge. This is crazy!" Bowser was actually still questioning that as if it was too good to be true. "Is this really real? I mean, the tribe itself, we're such a strong team so we're more likely to win, but... I love the way this is going for me! At this point I should be worried about how many people want me out of here, but I've no idea at the moment since we haven't win to a single Tribal Council while the Heroes have already lost three members! And you know, if the Survivor Gods want me to keep winning all the challenges, I've got no complaints! Getting to the merge will be easy!"
"Hey, we're the villains, right?" Foxy's grin grew wider. "Bad guys are dominating, and since we're not sending anyone home right now, we should be having fun and... you know what, Wolf's right. Maybe we should keep playing up what we're supposed to be and just be cocky as hell."
"Just for the sake of it? Hell yeah, man!" They fist bumped each other vertically a couple times. "I feel like I'm a king over here! ...Bwahahahaha!"
Ah, there it was. The classic Bowser laugh every time Mario encountered him in the games.
"I guess Bowser either wanted to pinch himself or try making himself bleed. I've seen his season right before I came on the show, and man... Koopa never caught a break... Yet he still managed to last for a while." Foxy was rather impressed. "But that's not to say that losing every challenge is a good thing at all. I'm really glad the entire tribe is still here, since that does give me an advantage. Less paranoia and strategizing and we're all more laid back and just taking the Survivor experience in day by day... However, in the back of my mind, I am smart enough to know that even laying your guard down for one second is not gonna do you any good. People are always planning, and I know that people to this point are still considering on what's gonna go down in the chance that we do lose a challenge... Sheik's name was thrown out the other day by Specter of all people, and I don't really like that..."
Specter Knight found the time to talk with Shadow along the pathway to the water well, in spite of them never really planning on using it in the beginning. This only meant that Specter only pulled Shadow to the side for some strategizing.
"Now obviously I feel like I'm a target... Plague Knight is a target as well, and I feel like if we lost that challenge, one of us would have gone home." He predicted. "But we managed to win, which is a good thing since it gives me more time to explain things from my point of view. ...I haven't really had much time to strategize with you in particular, but one thing we can agree with is that we are both major villains on this show."
"Mmm-hmm." Shadow did not disagree with that at all. "That's why I feel like I'm a target as well."
"I honestly feel that the only reason why you aren't first priority is because me and Plague together are two people, and you are only one person. If Plague was not on the season, it would have been a toss up between me or you. ...Do you feel the best thing to do for both of our games is to have us big villains stick together? ...Even if you aren't planning on aligning with me, I don't think us aligning against Sheik is a good idea. She is literally the most 'heroic' or the least 'villainous' of this entire tribe..."
"..." The only other Mobian hedgehog took time thinking about it, but he ended up agreeing with him again. "I do understand with her being the weakest villain here. Her move was not a hundred percent heroic, because it was the way she handled Marth, but she was only trying to protect her alliance. ...But comparing to the both of us, she might as well be on the Hero tribe."
"Exactly my point." Specter nodded. "If we head to tribal right now, if either me or Plague or gone, it's gonna be one or the other, or you yourself. ...Is there anyone you know you're aligned with as of right now?"
"...No..." He shook his head and hung it down a little. "Ten days in and I'm still finding it rather difficult to be in any alliance, so I'm a lone wolf at the moment..."
No pun intended regarding the actual wolf on the team.
"Plague Knight acted as if he won the Joustus championship when we won that challenge yesterday." ...Okay Specter, really? Now of course that card game in the Shovel Knight world was something significant, but what was more worth it in general? Winning a card game championship,... or winning a challenge in Survivor? He should have phrased that in a different way. "We were successful, but the most important thing was that neither of us got voted off... We needed a little time, and I feel like at this point we have more of a chance. I've made up my mind and... it's official. Plague and I are aligning together again. And right now we're trying to recruit more numbers to our side."
"Shadow in particular, I feel like he is someone that I should have been strategizing with from day one. We are both two of the most notorious villains on the show, and we came into this season with big targets on our backs. I think of the other villains, he would be the most likely to side with me. And with Sheik being the least villainous of the entire team of Villains, she could be a decent option for all three of us to target."
"I clearly do not trust anyone," The scythe wielder went on. "but we do have to work with somebody. And of all these villains over here, you are the most likely I would align with aside from Plague, who I have no choice but to align with at this stage in the game."
"Well now that I think about it, perhaps there are some benefits in working with you regarding my game." Shadow replied. "And like I said, I have no allies right now, so I can kind of take in whatever I can get. If Sheik's your target, I am not opposed to putting her name down."
Uh oh...
Shadow... What was he doing? Did he not just have a talk with Sheik the other day? She was literally the one who talked with him because he opened up to her about having no allies in the game. Now he was considering on writing her off? It was literally the Mega Man situation all over again!
"Specter... actually has some valid points here. Him and I are more inclined to understand each other when it comes to the type of game that we play. Neither of us came on the show to make friends. We came on the show to take that title. And with us having a similar mindset, I suppose I could actually consider working with him and Plague, since I am a target, anyway. They are two votes that could save my tail. ...However, they are apparently targeting Sheik, who is someone that I had a conversation with. ...I don't distrust her either, but at the same time, we hardly ever talked to each other in our season. There was almost no relationship there. The only reason why I ended up talking with her was that we share the same season. ...But coming out here, I really do not care who goes home. I'll vote out anyone."
Dude... This was literally why Shadow had a big target on his back coming into this season in the first place!
He was now with Foxy, curious to hear his thoughts on it.
"So..." The pirate stared. "He's really targeting Sheik isn't he? ...And he wants you in on it?"
"Yes." He confirmed nodding. "I honestly feel like he has some solid arguments. And,... I know I am one of the biggest targets right now. Specter and Plague are in the same boat as I am, and I don't have any other possible allies, anyway."
"Dude..." Foxy frowned a little. "We literally aligned together before and you've had that conversation with Sheik, didn't you? I'm not gonna put your name down, but I don't know if Sheik is the right choice here..."
"Well what if she feels like she does not fit in? She's already the only woman on the tribe..."
"And she has no problems with that, so why should she have problems fitting in with the rest of the villains? If anything, not being as villainous as the rest of us decreases her threat level. Since she doesn't have a big target on her back, why would she flip? Plague and Specter would be the most likely to flip here because they are the biggest threats."
"What if she gets to a point where she thinks she needs to do something big to up her threat level when it's time to build her resume?" Shadow cocked his head to the side. "People would assume she's not going to be a threat like that at any point in the game, and if she realizes she needs to make a move, that could be a problem."
"Dude, that's like... post-merge or something. Look, the three of us share the same season, Shadow, but even if we didn't, would you honestly work with Specter Knight over Sheik? ...For me that wouldn't even be a question here..." Foxy was not having it. "It just does not make any sense, man."
"Well you're not really in my position right now." The hedgehog started to glare. "Because of that, the circumstances are different. I'm a big target, Specter's a big target, and so is Plague. If I have no other options, I would at least consider to work with some of the bigger targets on this tribe."
"I really don't think Sheik going home is the best idea not only for my game, but for the tribe in general. Specter and Plague probably even know themselves that it might not be in the best interest for everyone here. They are clearly trying to save themselves because they know they are in trouble, and Shadow, who I was actually thinking about bringing him in as another ally, sees some benefits working with them, which is not good for me. I was hoping Sheik would actually somehow become my right hand lady in this thing, but she's already a target out here before we even visit our first tribal... I mean, I want to surround myself with as many allies as I can. So far I have Sheik by my side, me and Springtrap have no problems with each other, so he could actually be another good ally for me. Shadow's also a good option, but I don't know how things are gonna go for this group unless I can convince him that Sheik is not a good option to get eliminated."
"Let's talk over here..."
He had enough. Foxy now pulled Sheik to the side to let her in on the scoop.
"Specter and Plague are plotting on you, and Shadow might be in on it if we lose a challenge."
Her head hung down a little without blinking. "Seriously...?"
"Specter and Plague are both on the bottom, so they think they could use Shadow as an ally."
"Why are they targeting me, though? ...Of all people?"
Okay, so she was aware of her 'villain' status on the tribe.
"Basically what you just said. Specter says that because of you not being not as much of a villain like the rest of us, that you might flip on the whole tribe in the future if you were given the opportunity."
"What...?" She was almost laughing at the sound of that. "That's crazy. So he thinks I'm gonna flip because the rest of you are meaner than me? They would be the ones flipping because they are in trouble and they know it."
"That's what I was trying to tell Shadow when he told me about his recent conversation with Specter. You know, he's obviously trying to save himself here and just wants a reason for somebody else to get the boot other than him. Shadow's one of the biggest villains on here, so Specter feels like he could convince him to be in alliance with himself and Plague. They need an argument to save themselves over you, and I think we need to convince Shadow to stick with us."
"Specter's targeting me telling people that I'm the nicest villain here, and for that I should be voted out over him and Plague. And... Wow... I did not expect this to happen." She was still in shock. "Everyone including Specter himself was okay with Plague Knight going home, but now all of a sudden Specter is actually aligning with Plague and trying to convince people to align with him just so that he could save himself since he knows he's also a big target. I mean, I personally can't fault him for saving himself here, but..."
She heaved a sigh and covered her face in her hands.
"What exactly made Specter decide to all of a sudden align with Plague even though he used to be okay with writing his name down earlier on?" She asked her former rival. "...The fact we won three challenges now and that we might be okay with not sending the weakest home?"
"That's exactly the thing here. Specter Knight is not the absolute strongest here and he knows it, so he feels like he's an option to get his torch snuffed. But, don't worry." Foxy assured her. "I'll fight for you. I don't want anyone to think we're the closest alliance, I'm just going to argue why sending you home is a bad idea. Specter's gonna try to save his ally, so now I'm gonna try to save you. Either one of them gets voted off, or the Heroes go back to Tribal Council."
Things are really starting to escalate quickly here now that all the winners are gone, even though the Villains tribe has nothing to do with the Heroes tribe.
And now it's turn into a Plague/Specter vs Sheik situation now that the Villains won three immunities lol. Do yall think they're ever going to lose?
This would probably continue to unfold in the next chapter, so I will see you all next week and I encourage everyone to review as always!
