Survivor - Heroes vs Villains

Chapter 25 - Day 22 Part 1

Shadow's extended final words and his Ponderosa have been posted for those that weren't already aware.

And by the way,... this season already has more reviews than Survivor - Caribbean, due to eight people reviewing in the last chapter... I never expected something like that to happen. I thought I was lose like, half the viewers from Kodai Island because I turned this series into a SSB x Game Xover rather than solely sticking in the SSB archive which has way more fans. This is surprising to me and I really do appreciate it, guys! You all are the reason why I'm still here! (Since I've been writing since 2011... Wow.)

Survivor - Caribbean as of right now is still my magnum opus, though. I won't be surprised if not even this season tops that. The storytelling in season four really did it for me personally.

But I'm getting a little sidetracked here. Back to season five we go.

EPISODE EIGHT: May the Survivor Gods Give Me Strength

Darleem

Night 21

Donkey Kong, Bowser, Yoshi, Zelda, Wolf, Ridley, Vector, Ryu, Shovel Knight, Plague Knight, Golden, Springtrap

-/-

Everybody needed to hurry up. The Survivor Gods did not forget about the upcoming thunderstorm. They were able to send a couple small signals at the Tribal Council, but it was just now starting to rain. And the longer it took for people to make it back to the camp, the worse the storm was going to get.

Luckily the merged tribe of Darleem (minus Shadow) made it back in one piece. All they had to do was simply wait and see of how brutal mother nature was going to be for the night.

"Well Ridley," Vector commented, lying his torch down. "looks like you picked just the right guy to play that idol on. I had a feeling you had it. Just didn't know when exactly were you going to play it."

"It appeared that I played it at just the right time, then." Ridley sat his big, dragon-looking self down. "I was mentally debating between Bowser and Ryu the whole time. Bowser seemed too obvious, so I used it on Ryu instead."

"Part of me felt like you were going to save it for later down the line since you already won the immunity necklace, but you chose to use it on somebody else instead, knowing you had the opportunity to save it for later down the line."

He heaved a quick sigh. "That I am aware of. I had it in mind even before we got to tribal. But,... it's just a matter of protecting my alliance. I had a nagging feeling we weren't going to have the majority of the votes so I used my get out of jail free card on Ryu."

"I'm just confused on what exactly motivated you all to gun for Shadow. He didn't do anything..." Plague Knight frowned.

"He didn't really do anything." Ridley said in reply. "But it was between you and him. Neither of you have really done anything, but to be fairly honest, we figured that of the two of you, Shadow was the most likely to cause chaos based on his reputation. And we decided that we weren't going to deal with someone like that."

That made the former finalist grow irritated rather quickly. "Causing chaos? Didn't you blackmail Meta Knight into working with you just so that things can go your way last season?"

Ryu facepalmed knowing what was coming. "Here we go..."

"You are the absolute last person of this whole tribe to say, 'Oh we can't deal with someone like that'. You're a hypocrite!"

Yoshi buried his face in his hands, not wanting to have to hear the loud mouths of the both of them. "Guys, come on. It's probably going to rain harder in a minute and it's gonna get cold..."

But it was something Ridley was not going to tolerate, no matter how many raindrops fell on top of him.

BOOM!

"I'm a hypocrite, huh? Takes one to no one, since last time I checked, basically the entire cast of your season called you out for every little thing not going your way!"

"Dude..." Ryu placed a hand on Ridley's shoulder. "Save it. It's gonna be a wet one tonight..."

Vector was just simply upset of how things played out at tribal. "Tribal Council completely backfired. Based on the results of the vote, it's clear that DK and Golden have decided to align themselves with Ryu, Bowser, and Ridley. Weakening those three was the main goal tonight, but Ridley played his idol on the right person and it ended up with Shadow going home. Kind of a setback for my alliance, but... I'm just surprised I wasn't the one being targeted. But hey, I'm still here. And we have the majority regardless, so... it's just a matter of fixing our mistakes by making sure somebody in that group of five goes home next."

"You ought to be lucky that we won all those challenges or else you would have been gone a long, long, long time ago." Ryu was making Ridley step away, but he just needed to get his final words in. "You're also lucky enough to know that nobody on our old tribe was willing to throw a challenge since you were the main one on the chopping block!"

"Don't play that game with me!" Yep. It appeared that neither of them wanted to hold back. "You all know you needed me to win that challenge. All that talk from the Survivor community that you're a beast in challenges? Why did it take you this long to finally win immunity? And honestly, you could never do a puzzle if you tried. You needed me in challenges just as much as I needed you."

OOH!

"Guys, please!" Yoshi was begging the both of them. Please! "It's starting to rain harder and I'm getting wet!"

"We've been rained on before. We'll deal with it..." Now Vector was copying K. Rool from season four regarding a very similar situation. Only that time it was literally during the Tribal Council.

"I agree with Yoshi, though..." Zelda sighed, making her way closer to the shelter. "I just need to get whatever sleep I can possibly get. And I'm pretty sure everyone here needs their sleep, too."

"Plague, I know you're wet, but... mind if we take a walk real quick?" Wolf asked standing near, Bowser and Ryu already pulling Ridley completely away.

He crossed his arms, feeling like that is something the lupine should have asked his ownself. "Hey, I'm wearing my cloak. You're going to look like a total wet dog in a minute..."

"Let's just... come on."

By the time the two other two villain members of SGA 2.0 fully separated themselves from the other tribe members, they made sure Golden and Donkey Kong were involved in the conversation. That was right. The entire alliance made themselves obvious, but it was official. The line was drawn in the sand.

"All Plague does is sit around and run his mouth. He doesn't do much around camp, he just makes sure you hear his damn mouth all day long. That's all he does!"

"Let's not... let Plague of all people ruin your moment here." Golden just wanted to brush him off to the side. "I've experienced camp life with him before. Sometimes it's good just to ignore him and not let him get under your skin. ...We weren't able to get the numbers tonight, but you played your idol successfully, all five of us are still here, you get credit for that."

"Seriously, man." Ryu Hoshi grinned from ear to ear. "You saved me two tribals in a row. I literally would not be here right now if it wasn't for you."

"Well like I said, I knew it was going to be between you and Bowser. And if I felt like it was Bowser, I would have done the same for him."

"I think the bottom line is that you had an idol. And to be honest, knowing you, you could have easily saved it for yourself later down the line since you were literally guaranteed to move onto the next round... But,... you decided to play it on somebody else." Donkey Kong noticed. "It seems that Meta was right about you."

The space pirate smirked in reaction. "I bet I would have been more likely to play it on myself if this was season four, but I came out here again knowing I need allies. I'd rather have all five of us here to have some kind of numbers in this game. We're not just an alliance. We are an army right now and I need each and every one of you so that somebody has a chance... I... don't know how much longer I'm gonna be here..."

Upon him looking down, his other four alliance members knew he was growing worried.

"Don't worry, man." Bowser shook his head aggressively. "We'll get the majority somehow. You fought for us and we're gonna fight for you. We're gonna do everything we can to turn the tables on these losers out here."

"To put it simply, Plague Knight is aggravating. He's mad that I once again took out an ally of his, so he has no allies left now. But he's not worth my time or energy, so I'm not going to continue to stoop down to his level." Damn. Literally beneath him at that point. "But, yes. Part of me really did consider to keep my idol to myself, but... I just decided to share the fact that I had the idol to my alliance before tribal. I just... I suppose I felt like I needed to protect my arm of five. I had a strong feeling that Springtrap and Wolf were not going to align with us, so... I did what I have to do. Rather a selfless move from me, you could say. But,... I'm really trying to make some solid allies this time. I have the desire to win this game so much, even I have to realize that I needed to make some changes to maximize my chances. And aside from a game perspective,... the... the least I could say is... Ugh, how do I put this? ...Let's just say that... 'friends' is not a bad word. That's all I'm gonna say for right now."

"I'm too dangerous to deal with? Really though?" Plague vented in front of Wolf, Springtrap being seen walking towards them to join in. "You blackmailed Meta and took control of your entire tribe in your season! You were voted off immediately at the merge. At least I made it all the way to the end. So who's more dangerous to keep around? Exactly."

"Just don't get yourself too worked up here." The mercenary suggested. "Shadow may not be here anymore, but we're still up 7-5. He's going home next unless he wins immunity. And if he doesn't win immunity, it'll just be somebody else again if they have another idol."

He then began to feel regretful. "Ugh... Sorry, I'm just frustrated. It seems like every time I turn around when I have something going on for me, it's always something! Specter just got voted out right before the merge leaving me with Shadow of all people as my only ally left, and now this happens. It's always _ something!"

Now a Shovel Knight character swearing like that was rather unusual. Plague really was pissed.

"Nobody wanted to align with me from day one, and when I get allies, none of them are around anymore! I don't understand this! If everyone was so against me,... why am I still here!? Huh? Why am I still here?"

"That's actually not a bad question." Springtrap commented folding his arms. "But guys, we're all gonna get soaked here. Let's make this quick."

"Look, we're gonna talk tomorrow, alright?" Wolf heaved a quick sigh in realization. "Meet me by the well or something. We'll wake up early and the three of us are gonna get water. Just wanted to let you know that you're not going home. They're not gonna put your name down."

"I sure do hope so..." He spoke a little more quietly out of worry. "My name's been tossed around so much, I still think going home for me is the inevitable..."

"Wolf and I made the decision to go against the Strong Guys Alliance since we figured it was rather pointless, but it didn't work out the way we wanted to because we targeted the wrong person in that group. The only way to fix this is to double down and send one of them home... for real this time." Kevin felt that they had no excuses anymore. "Ridley's obviously the biggest threat from that alliance, Bowser betrayed Wolf, Ryu is involved with the strongest people in the game for a second time in his Survivor career, Donkey Kong is an underdog, and Golden's gonna fly under the radar until all of his other allies are gone so he can be a threat himself to win the game. But if Ridley doesn't go now, it's not gonna go well for anyone."

Day 22

It was still rather cloudy out. In Survivor culture, any time it was cloudy, it was always good to prepare just in case worse came to worse. Sure, the production staff could have had the common decency to at least let to players know if it was going to storm on a certain day at a certain time. But if they were not even allowed to ask the time of day anymore, what made anyone think they were allowed to ask about the weather?

These twelve players were literally on their own. They had to play the game. Not the production crew. Only aspect of the game they were allowed to compete in was whenever the Survivor Dream Team needed to test out the challenges.

Oh hey, did Mario & Luigi: Dream Team ring a bell for anyone right there?

Anyway, as planned, Wolf, Plague Knight, and Springtrap were already on the pathway to the water well. Plague Knight underneath his mask appeared to be a little cranky by the way Springtrap aggressively shook his shoulder to wake him up. Then again, he could not have been too agitated because he himself had an unfinished conversation to tackle down.

"What am I gonna do, now? Sorry for my blow up last night, but Ridley pissed me off. He might not be in the majority, but he's obviously calling the shots of that alliance. We need to get him out!"

"I agree a thousand percent." Kevin nodded in response, the FNAF character kicking a rock away. "I'm annoyed because Wolf and I made our choice, but the idol just had to mess everything up."

"Stupid idols..." Wolf commented. "If you don't have them yourself, you'd better hope you're not the one going home."

"Well Shadow was the one who went home last night and he was clearly mad at everybody! And you know what? I don't even blame him. If it was me I'd be mad, too! You all really should have listened when he wanted to target DK. He's gone because of what you all didn't do!"

"I wasn't the one who made the final call on who to target, but I'll take part of the blame regardless." The eye-patched wolf admitted. "I wanted to at least weaken Bowser just how he weakened my game for sending Foxy home to see how he likes it, but it didn't work. This isn't the first time I've made a mistake though, so now we have to make up for that."

"Plague, you really gotta work on your temper, though." Springy warned. "It's for the sake of your own good. You and Ridley both have big personalities. The only difference is that you're a small man with a big voice. And you know people get tired of hearing that."

"Hey, I'll say how I feel just like everyone else does. My ways are my own..." He then paused and then exhaled. "Okay, so maybe sometimes I can get a little carried away. But,... I'm tired. I'm tired you guys. If all of your allies went home one by one, how would you feel?"

Springtrap coughed on purpose.

"...What?"

He pointed at himself in response, hoping he was able to catch the hint.

"Oh... Well, you know what it's like, then! Sure, I know that you can't just use your allies to carry you throughout the entire game, but... this season they were literally all I have because none of you wanted to align with me. ...So don't get pissed off when the words that I use come across as off-putting sometimes. I'm doing the best I can like everybody else."

"Look, we might not have aligned with you back then, but we're doing it now. Springtrap and I have our options limited, and the three of us need each other from this point out." said Wolf. "We won't turn our back on you as long as you don't turn your back on us. You may be really annoying to people Plague, but I know you ain't dumb. Specter saw that when he voted for you to win in the end knowing it was an unpopular opinion comparing to the rest of that jury. You do know how this game works."

"I'm just exhausted." He just sat still with his right wrist resting against the side of his face. "Why can't my allies actually stay in the game for once? Back to back, though? Specter told me to avenge him, now I have to my revenge for two people. And it's not even their fault they got voted out, but every time, I'm always the only one that gets left on the island. All by myself... I have to fend for myself out here, yes. But,... you can't play this game by yourself."

He shook his head in complete frustration. "I'm only one guy against eleven other people. There's no way I can do this on my own. Specter and I were always butting heads one minute and then needing each other the next, but... one thing I can say is that I'm just now appreciating him for sticking by me for so long. I have even more of an understanding of what it's like to have literally no one, and that's the thing. That's the reality of Survivor. There are people you are familiar with, but... nobody has your back out here. You do have to rely on yourself to... get allies and to get people on your side. I suppose I have Spring and Wolf for right now, but of course they want to align with me now that they don't have any other people to be closely aligned with, so they kinda deserved it. Then again, they are the most likely to stick around with me at this stage in this game, so I'll see how it goes. But I bet one of them will somehow go home next, too. That's my luck out here..."

Finally at the water well, Wolf volunteered to do the pouring, the three water seekers having four canteens each.

"The two of you are the ones that I want to go far in this game with. Springy, you already know. And Plague, I apologize for just now thinking about you, but... we're all we got at this point man. I need you."

He folded his arms, still wanting more confirmation. "And how am I supposed to know nothing's gonna happen to me again?"

"Honestly, I don't think any of the three of us are going anywhere. There are big targets on both sides. There is the Hero Four to worry about and the entire Strong Guys Alliance. But at the same time, we gotta tell ya what you need to hear. The more you go antagonizing people like that Plague, the more people you alienate, which means the more people you alienate from the two of us. We don't have anyone working with us, you're sabotaging this entire alliance."

That was when he heaved a strong sigh. "Fine... It's going to be strange for me to keep my mouth shut, but... I wanna win."

"Just be cool and lie low from this point out. Calm down your nerves... Here. This is yours." Wolf handed over the canteen with his name on it. "You have to actually learn how to control your emotions. Not just say absolutely everything. Try... thinking before you speak and that'll go a long way."

Springtrap snickered at this. "You sound like somewhat of a nicer version of Specter there."

"Playing socially with Plague Knight sounds like a tall order, but hey, I think if I can somehow pull it off with him, I can pull through with anyone. Bowser went behind my back and threw some shade, his alliance proved to be victorious last night, so we're going back and forth. But as of right now, I have no idea how our strategic relationship in this game in particular is going to play out. So right now I'm already looking at my other options. Springtrap and I are unbreakable, and Plague Knight is all on his own so the two of us need to pick him up so all three of us can go places. ...I'm gonna have to teach this guy how to... not explode on people when things don't go his way."

Day 22

Now it was time for the first post-merge reward challenge.

"Come on in!"

At least for Shadow, he had access to all the food he ever wanted at the Ponderosa. Only half the tribe had to earn the privilege to it. Whatever extra strength a castaway needed to later perform well at an individual immunity challenge was always a good thing to have.

"Alright. You guys ready to get to today's reward challenge?"

They all replied 'yes' in unison.

"What's on the table today, master?" Ryu asked.

"For today's challenge, you will be divided into two teams of six, with one person riding along a chariot while the other five team members pulled that person along, racing across a four hundred meter course, occasionally stopping to allow the person some time untying bags for a puzzle. Once your team is back, that person who untied bags, as well as one other person must work together to solve a puzzle."

Sounded like a lot of running, especially for those who remembered the challenge in Emperors vs Knights. Hmm... Good thing both Sonic and Shadow were still in the g-... Oh, forget it! Sigh...

"First team to finish wins reward. Wanna know what you're playing for? Be prepared to take a break from the island, because the winning six will be going on a Caribbean cruise tour."

Literally every last castaway was filled with joy, motivation, and anticipation.

"Jesus Christ!" Springtrap was already dreaming of the matter in his head.

"I wanna go on the Caribbean cruise tour!" Well, Plague needed to be on the winning team or he was not going. HA!

"You will be given a nice shower."

"Oh man..." That made Ryu imagine. No more smelly armpits.

"Afterwards, you will feast on seafood." The master began counting on his fingers. "Fish, dumplings, lobster, everything you need to keep that belly full for at least a little while."

"I'd better be going on this one..." mumbled Vector. But like Plague Knight, he had to wait until the results of the challenge.

"I know it's worth playing for. We have first done this challenge in season two. Shovel Knight and Zelda were both on different teams, Shovel's team won, Zelda's team lost. We're gonna draw for captains and we'll get started."

-/-

"Alright, we have drawn for captains. Ryu is a captain for the blue team. He chose Bowser, Golden, Vector, Yoshi, and Plague Knight. Plague Knight is going to ride the chariot. Ridley is a captain for the red team. He chose Donkey Kong, Springtrap, Wolf, Shovel Knight, and Zelda. Zelda is going to ride the chariot. Playing for reward. Survivors ready?"

"Run! Run! Run! Run!"

"Go! Go! Go! Go!"

Sand was flying everywhere. And that was how to tear up a course.

"It is a whole race to the finish! There's never any messing around in Survivor!"

"Push it, everyone. We have to get this reward!" Plague Knight as usual did what he did best at challenges.

"Steady pace! Steady pace!" All Zelda had to do was to make sure she held onto that chariot or she was going to fly right off.

Ryu, Bowser, Golden, Vector, Yoshi, Ridley, Donkey Kong, Springtrap, Wolf, and Shovel Knight had to do all the heavy lifting. And the latter happened to be the one on the chariot from Emperors vs Knights when the challenge was first done. The actual physical portion was a new thing to him.

"Donkey Kong running on all fours!"

Hahahaha! Well,... not that surprising. Come to think of it, this was possibly not even the first time DK ran on all fours at a challenge. Was Master Hand just now noticing?

"Both teams are at their first bag. Zelda and Plague Knight are both starting to untie bag number one."

"You all can go ahead and take a breath while you can." Zelda suggested, hoping her fingers were able to work with her.

"You have this, Zel." Shovel Knight encouraged.

"I'll get through this in no time."

"You'd better whip through 'em, Plague." Bowser replied to Plague Knight.

"Your fingers have to be very skilled to get through the knots. If you take a while to finish you are costing your team valuable time. Every last second counts at every challenge..."

"Alright. Pull me along."

"Got it. Go!"

"Zelda has her first bag! Plague has his first bag!"

"PUSH!" Ridley barked, not wanting his teammates to lose just yet. He was leading the red team while Vector led the blue team to their second bag.

"Still neck and neck! Nice to stay on each other's tail!"

And guess what? By the time Plague and Zel were going to get all three bags, they really needed to run all the way back as fast as possible. No slowness, no setbacks, no excuses.

"Zelda and Plague Knight are now at their second bag!"

"Don't slow down now, Plague!" Donkey Kong warned between breaths. "I wanna go on that cruise just as much as you do."

"I'm coming, I'm coming!"

"Come on, come on..."

"Zelda is starting to struggle."

"You can do this, Zel!"

"Hurry up!"

"...Done!" And there went Plague and his team, officially taking the lead.

"Blue has their second bag! Zelda has to move! Let's go!"

Springtrap stamped his foot out of impatience. "They're getting away..."

"...Okay, got it! Got it!"

"Zelda has her second bag now!"

"Move! Move now!" Wolf commanded. Though their leges began to grew tired a little bit, it was nothing yet at the time. They still had one more bad to go and then they had to travel all the way back to the start of the challenge to begin the puzzle.

"Almost there, almost there..." Plague Knight reached a hand out as the bag grew nearer towards him. "Stop! We're right in the lead, but they can't catch up!"

"Just untie the damn knots!" Bowser exhaled due to both exhaustion and annoyance.

"We gotta be ready for this sprint, guys." Golden reminded his team. "Just don't overexert yourselves doing it..."

"Zelda's at her third bag. Can she make up some time?"

"Come on, Zelda! We gotta hustle after this!" Ridley did not want to miss out on such a big opportunity on that cruise ship.

"Almost..."

"Plague reaching the end of his knots. Zelda trying to move as fast as she can!

"...Got it! Turn the chariot around and run!"

"Plague Knight has all three bags for red! Now you got to race all the way back to the beginning! Use all the energy you have left right now!"

"UGH!" grunted Springtrap, he and the other four runners for blue using their own bodies to rotate their chariot at a three hundred sixty degree angle before dashing off once again.

"Fight through the pain, boys!" Wolf hollered.

"Zelda has her final bag! Red has got to make up ground. Hurry up and catch blue!"

"Move! Move! Move! Move! Move!" Ridley kept pushing his team along, in spite of him starting to grow tired himself.

By the sounds of Shovel Knight's breathing, he was clearly wearing out, heavily decreasing his speed. Donkey Kong ended up having to pull him by the arm to keep him going.

"Blue team still with the lead. They are doing a good job keeping their pace up!"

Even though they, too, were starting to show signs of exhaustion.

But they were able to get to their puzzle first, Plague Knight choosing to have Golden by his side at the puzzle while the rest of the team all dropped to the ground. Basically no energy left in them.

Yet Golden knew he had to help Plague. They were both brains together in their old season.

"Each bag has their own set of puzzle pieces. They are going to spell out a number which will be used as part of a combination lock. Gotta have all three numbers."

The two brainiacs went right to work as the other team came in flying.

"You're good, red! Start solving your puzzle!"

"I'm coming, Zelda..." Out of breath, Shovel clumsily made his way over to his longtime teammate. Sweet. Four brainiacs solving the puzzle. Only advantage was that blue made it first. Better hope there were not any mistakes made.

The puzzle in particular was a bunch of triangular pieces, with only certain ones containing parts of the letters used to spell out a numbered word.

"Come on, guys. You got this!" Yoshi cheered on.

09

"Blue has their first number! Zelda and Shovel Knight know they need to start double timing it!"

"We're still in it. We're fine." The shovel warrior was not one of those types to panic like that.

Springtrap lied flat on the ground, yet he commented nonetheless. "Do whatever you need to do. I'm going on this reward."

"Come on, blue..." Vector had his hands on his knees.

"...Red has their first number!"

"Move your arm so I can put this over here." Golden told the cloaked knight. "...No, over here."

Plague puffed, not wanting to deal with him this way. "Okay, you know what? Go over there. Stay over there and we'll take care of both sides at once."

He did not have to shove him like that, but the bear did not take it personal.

"Plague Knight and Golden changing strategies... and now they seem to be working even more quickly."

Shovel even got a peek over. "Okay, we have to do what they're doing so we can have a chance."

"Okay, okay... You on the right, I'm on the left and we could back each other up."

05

"Blue has their second number! One more to go!"

Vector clapped his hands loudly. "Nice job. Great teamwork!"

"You two might wanna hurry up." Ridley suggested with folded arms. "I've never been on a post-merge reward before. Pick up the pace."

"Almost done with the second number..." Zelda said in response, moving as quickly and carefully as she could have. "That goes there... Okay, we're done. One more."

"Red has their second number! They might still have a shot!"

Springtrap slowly sat up where he sat at on the ground. "Let's move. Panicking only makes things worse."

"If one of us finishes first we'll just help the other one." Golden talked with Plague. "All about making team moves."

"We've played together before. I know... I think this is making out to be an 'I'."

"Okay, this is a 'G' forming. I need more G pieces." Zelda spoke to Shovel Knight.

"Your side almost finished?"

18

"Blue has all three numbers! Try the combination lock and see if it works!"

09-05-18

That was the date of the release of Survivor - Kodai Island!

"Right..."

"My side's finished." Zelda moved closer to the knight's aid. "I'll help you on your side, now."

"Left..."

"...Okay, we're done."

"Red has all three of their numbers! Are they too late?"

"Right..." Plague Knight sounded, the lock opening up immediately upon pulling. "Get the axe and cut the rope!"

"Blue team has it!"

And with one chop of the rope, up the blue flag raised.

"BLUE WINS REWARD!"

"Golden, Plague Knight, Ryu, Bowser, Yoshi, and Vector!"

With Plague hopping up and down in place, Golden slapped a hand on his shoulder.

"We did a good job!"

"Yep! We did it!"

"Good job, guys!" Now Yoshi just could not have waited for what was going to happen next. "This is gonna be fun!"

Shovel Knight sighed in disappointment. "We were coming up right behind them. Sorry, everyone..."

"I should take more of the blame." Zelda volunteered, not forgetting where she messed up. "I was a little too slow untying the second bag of knots."

"At least you take points for accountability." Ridley told her. "At least I'm still here to see another day..."

Wolf on the other hand was still a little pissed. He was hungry and he actually wanted a break from the island. But, oh well. Win some, lose some.

"Alright. Ryu, Bowser, Plague Knight, Yoshi, Golden, and Vector, nice cruise with a seafood feast waiting for ya. Head on out. Boat's waiting."

"Hey." Koopa turned to the martial artist lifting up his arm. "Do I smell?"

"..." Taking a whiff, he ended up frowning a little. "Could be worse..."

Out of jealousy, Springtrap rolled his eyes.

"Alright. Zelda, Shovel Knight, Springtrap, Ridley, Wolf, Donkey Kong, I got nothing for you." Nothing for the losers. All they could have done was cry about it. "Head on back to camp."

"Wasted opportunity to be a part of that reward, since I've just outpeaked myself in Survivor. This is the furthest I have ever been, but at the same time, as long as I'm still here, I suppose it's not all bad." Ridley lifted his hands up. "I'm on the bottom without an idol, anyway. I got bigger things to worry about. I've played my idol on Ryu last tribal, but now I don't have an idol anymore and my alliance remains at the bottom. So it looks like I have to pull off a Specter by probably coming up with ways to convince people so that I could earn the popular opinion. I may have outdone myself compared to last season, but that doesn't mean I have to go home right after."

A little late, but it's here. Any typos in this chapter will be worked on.

Alright, Blaze the Cat from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Survivor - India? You're going. Pack your bags.
