(The Drive)
Sydney emerged from the hotel room while gazing down at her vehicle over the balcony. Initially, there were two Moroi and an Dhampir. They appear to be anxiously awaiting Sydney arrival. Sydney wanted her morning coffee and before heading to Keepers. Sydney went to the stairwell and down to the first floor. It appears they really want to get on the road and find Jasmine, Sydney thought to herself. However, they will wait till I finish my coffee.
Sydney started moved toward the cafe that was across the street. Miss Sage," Dimitri remarked. I feel that we need to hit the road." Sydney paused, turn in tracks and said, "Guardian Belikov, please understand I need my coffee. We're not leaving till I finish my coffee." Dimitri said, "Good thing, I picked you some coffee for the trip, Dimitri replied as he raised his hand to carry a sizable coffee cup. Sydney's expression of astonishment was caused by the guardian holding a sizable coffee cup for her. Sydney, said, "I'm driving."
Sydney walked up to Dimitri, took the large coffee cup, and then drank it after making sure it was prepared to her preferences. Sydney motioned for everyone to enter as she walked up to the driver door. While Sydney placed the car in drive and backed out of the parking space, Sonya and Christian settled into the backseat and Dimitri into the front passenger side. began the descent of Wolf Road. While the oak tree on the side of the road was being chopped, Dimitri discovered the SUV was disappeared. The local alchemists helped the Guardians remove your SUV from the area, Sydney remarked.
Sydney drove farther into the forest not long distant. Dimitri could make out the freeway and assumed Sydney would turn in that direction. Instead, she continued past the fuel station and further into the darkness. We were surrounded by mountains and forests, much like in the previous location. We moved slowly until Sydney noticed a narrow gravel road to the right that disappeared into the trees, at which point we turned right and began traveling down the unkempt road.
Christian ordered the Sydney to stop after more than an hour of travel along the winding gravel road. Sydney activated the brakes. When Sydney slowed down, Christian exited the vehicle and moved to the side of the road. "Sydney and Sonya were told to remain in the car by Dimitri." "Christian, what are you doing?" questioned Dimitri. Christian didn't reply and carried on walking a short distance behind the vehicle till he got to a place where vines were almost engulfing something. Christian reached up and peeled the vines away, revealing the sign for Dream Camp.
Dimitri declared: "It is a sign for a former summer camp located in this area. Christian declared, "You're unaware that Jasmine has taken over ownership of this summer camp. In a single night ten years ago, 22 female teenage Dhampirs disappeared all at once. Never was the matter resolved. Dimitri understood that 22 female dhampiers wouldn't simply vanish unless strigoi attacked the summer camp.
Christian said, "The second thing is wrong direction" Dimitri said, "What do you mean that going the wrong way?' Christian pointing at tires marks in the mud heading away from where going." Dimitri approached the tire tracks and noticed they bore the same marking as the Jasmine mustang's tire tracks when he reached down. Remembering that rain yesterday. Dimitri stood back up and said, "Your right baby girl. Did go this way. Feeling the bond around his little tight and knew she was near by."
Christian and Dimitri returned to Sydney's automobile. Christian instructed Sydney to back up, and turn left at the Dream Camp sign. Sydney said, "Why?" Christian said, "Jasmine!" Sydney started to reverse and drew away from the keepers in an unknown direction.
They were surrounded by mountains and forests till they arrived at the spot where they saw Jasmine mustang and knew they were in the correct place. Sonya, Christian, Dimitri and Sydney could other vehicles-pretty old-looking-were parked there. It was a strange place for a parking lot, considering all we could see around us was dark forest.
Sydney shut off the car.

As everyone got out of the vehicle, Dimitri noticed that the bond around his wrist seemed a little tighter. Knowing that baby girl was in area. They must now continue on foot. It was possible to see a path snaking through the forest. The proliferation of weeds and other vegetation made the trail small and simple to overlook. "Wait!" exclaimed Dimitri. Dimitri froze in place and began to scan their surroundings. The rustling of the woods could be heard by Dimitri, and several bodies could be seen. When they are discovered, a few additional faces and an older man who is standing close to the treeline can be seen watching them. Along with the Moroi faces, there were a few Dhampier faces. Dimitri saw that the leader's features resembled Abe.
Older Moroi man stepped forward, about Abe's age, with a bushy white beard and a silver stake in his hand. Some part of Dimitri noted the stake was crudely made compared to mine, but the point held the same threat. The man's gaze passed over Christian and Dimitri, and the stake lowered. But Dimitri also noted that man almost look like older Abe maybe family member.
The man's eyes drifted from Dimitri to Sydney. He moved forward, beyond Dimitri who was extending his hand, grabbed Sydney's chin, and caused her to shift her head so that the light was shining on her cheek. The man uttered, "Lily-girl, we haven't seen an alchemist in this parts a very long time. What brought you here or come to join us?" Dimitri said, "We came because the Element!"
Older Moroi snapped to face Dimitri in the eyes and asked, "What do you know about the Element?" Dimitri could the Turkish in voice come out. Dimitri reaching down, raised his sleeve, and revealing a mark. The senior Moroi moved his eyes on Dimitri wrist noticed the mark on Dimitri arm and looked back up to Dimitri eyes knew that he was the bond-mate to the element. The older Moroi speak, "You are bond-mate to the element?" Dimitri said, "Yes!" The leader said, "Come and she wait for you arrival. She speak about her bond mate, friends and family would soon arrive.
Their leader turn and started moving down the path. We were moved along as the group followed. The trail eventually took us to what appeared to be a well-hidden area, where there were scattered buildings extending into the woods along the now-widened road. Although it wasn't quite a road, It appeared to be a town or at least a village. Small, run-down cabin-style structures that seemed to be there permanently.
Dimitri was so tense and anxious that he could hardly focus on how long we walked. Eventually, the path led us to what seemed like a well-hidden campground. A huge bonfire blazed in a clearing with people sitting around. On the other side of the fire, the land rose sharply into the Smoke Mountains, blocking out the stars. In the flickering light, I could see a mountain's face that was textured with rough stone and scattered trees, dotted here and there with dark holes.
Dimitri attention moved back to the living. The crowd gathered around the fire-a couple dozen or so-fell silent as our escort led us in. At first, all I saw were numbers. That was the warrior in him, counting opponents and planning for attack. Then, just like I had earlier, I truly took in the faces. More Moroi mixed with dhampirs. And-I was shocked to discover-humans.
These weren't feeders either. Well, not in the sense that I knew feeders. Even in the dark, Dimitri could see glimpses of bite marks along some of the humans' necks, but judging by their curious expressions, I could tell these people didn't give blood regularly. They weren't high. They were mixed in among the Moroi and dhampirs, sitting, standing, talking, engaging-the whole group clearly unified in some kind of community.
A voice yelled Daddy and Uncle Dimitri was heard by everyone. Christian and Dimitri spin around to find Jasmine, Rose, and Sierra gathered around a campfire. Sierra is curled up on her mother lap with Jasmine arms wrapped around her. Christian and Dimitri both began to move toward where Jasmine was seated near to the fire. Sierra leaped off her Jasmine's lap and sprinted toward Christian and Dimitri. Sierra Dawn was rushing around the bond fire until Dimitri Guardian kicked in to protect Sierra from getting burned or falling into the fire.
Jasmine yelled "Sierra Stop while Jasmine and Rose was getting up from their seat. Dimitri pushed himself, grabbed Sierra up and way from the campfire from keeping her getting burn. Dimitri pulled Sierra to his chest and said, "Sierra, You have to be care around a campfire. You could have fall and cause burns. Sierra apologized to Uncle Dimitri.
Christian pulled Sierra out of Dimitri hands and said, Sierra you scared Mommy and Me. Sierra apologized to daddy and wrapped her arms around his neck. Jasmine walked and said, "Thank You! Dimitri for saving my daughter." Dimitri looked into Jasmine eyes and pulled her to him and started kissing her in front everyone. Pulling back from Jasmine and whisper you think me tonight with your body." Jasmine giving Dimitri man eating smile and that drive Dimitri crazy.

Peggy Sue stood from her seat and told the leader that little need time with her family. The leader noted at Peggy Sue. She identified herself as Peggy Sue. Peggy Sue escorted us through the arid route. Our group observed others moving about in the vicinity of dispersed, run-down residences, either on their way to bed or perhaps having been awakened by all the disturbance.
Peggy Sue gave Sydney a quick glance and remarked, "Did you bring anything for us? Sydney said "No! I'm not sure if your party came out here by itself and encountered keepers. Peggy Sue said, "It is preferable to avoid them. We are noting but a band of lyres that commits murder and takes what is not rightfully theirs." Sydney said, "I have brought them some medicine. Peggy Sue said, It would best If you give it to us and not to them, Tomorrow, a group will take you back to you car to get the medicine. Before that take from you. Sydney had questions about everything.
Peggy Sue ultimately led us into one of the more substantial and attractive large log cabin despite the fact that it was still plain and constructed of unpainted wooden boards. We waited while Peggy Sue ignited antique lanterns inside the very dark room. Christian was correct. No electrical power and wonder about plumbing after hearing this.
Similar to the walls, the floors were made of hardwood and adorned with sizable rugs with vibrant patterns. We appeared to be in a combination living room/dining room/kitchen. The room had a big fireplace in the middle, a wooden table and chairs on one side, and big cushions that I assumed were sofas on the other. Near the fireplace, racks of dried herbs were hanging, infusing the space with a pungent aroma that blended with the fragrance of burning wood.
Peggy Sue said, "Welcome home Element!
The baby, room is upstairs on third door on the left. The element bedroom is on right side second door and while everyone else is first room on the left. Peggy Sue bowing to Jasmine.

Dimitri studied Peggy Sue curiously. She looked to be about in sixty around leader age. Peggy Sue had white hair, blue eyes and looked like someone grandmother. Tiffany came around the corner and said, "Grandmother! So I see you meet my friends and element?" Christian said, "Tiffany, Did you bring Sierra here?" Tiffany said, "Yes! Peggy Sue is my grandmother and Mr. Bear is my grandfather on mother side.
The front door of the log cabin they heard a loud knocking noise. The moment Tiffany walked over to the window, she noticed Mr. Bear standing on the porch. Tiffany exclaimed as she unlocked the door, "Hello! Grand-papa." Mr. Bear enters and notices Peggy Sue standing by dinner table and give a groaning.
Sierra said, "Mr. Bear call Miss Peggy is fee bag." Peggy sue said, "The walking rug has return home."
Everyone notice that Peggy Sue and Mr. Bear was fighting.
Dimitri said, Look the bear is back."
Peggy Sue said, "You meet my husband."
Rose, Christian, Alexander, Jasmine were giggle while listen to Peggy Sue and Mr. Bear fight.
Tiffany said, "They always like this. When they are around each other.
