Survivor - Heroes vs Villains
Chapter 30 - Day 27 Part 2
Darleem
Day 27
Donkey Kong, Bowser, Yoshi, Zelda, Wolf, Vector, Ryu, Shovel Knight, Plague Knight, Golden, Springtrap
-/-
"Nicely done, Plague."
"Your first ever win!"
"You did it!"
"That was quite the challenge." Donkey Kong and the others returned to Darleem, Plague Knight putting away the individual immunity necklace. "It was something pretty much anyone could win, and you manage to pull it off. Good job."
With a pat on the shoulder, the knight was still in shock. "I feel like I'm dreaming or something. Is this real? ...Ow!"
Springtrap pinched his shoulder. "Hmm... No. You're not dreaming. You won it."
"W-Well, it's gonna take some time to sink in for me. I... I kinda don't know what to do."
Ryu snickered and folded his arms. "It's okay folks, he's fine. He just doesn't know how to act because he never won an individual challenge before."
"I've won indivudal immunity... I won a challenge! You know,... all this time I never thought I would actually win won, especially after Mexico. That one challenge post-swap where I completely blew a challenge fueled peoples' minds when they said I was one of the worst challenge competitors in Survivor history. ...Now I won individual immunity." He grew quiet for a moment before suddenly chuckling to force himself to smile. "Haha, I don't want to shed any tears at the moment. This feels so... unreal. I never thought I would be wearing this right now. Not saying that I'm suddenly this big challenge force, but... moments like this? Maybe there is some hope out there. I know I have a rather polarizing reception when it comes to me when it comes to the community and other players, so when things like this come up, it's a high moment for me that I need to take in. Mona's probably screaming right now out of excitement. I know she just wants the best for me so that I can do well. I'm still trying to hang in there, but hey, I'm guaranteed to not be going home today. That's at least one more day out here, so I'll keep hanging on."
Okay, so it was time to get to the alliances. Rather blunt to just get to the chase like this, but this was going to be a pretty big vote coming up. There was the Hero Four (Zelda, Yoshi, Vector, and Shovel), the Strong Guys Alliance (Donkey Kong, Ryu, Bowser, and Golden), and the three villains (Plague Knight, Springtrap, and Wolf).
The producers decided to pick the Strong Guys Alliance to be shown first. They were all togther wandering along (minus Ryu who was helping a few of the other retrieve water from the well), and from their perspective, mentally they were sort of panicking.
"You know, part of me wanted to just gather all of us up to get water so all four of us can be together." said Bowser. "I know that would have been too obvious to everybody, but it literally does not matter at this point. I feel like we really should have done that."
"We'll just relay information over to Ryu, then." Golden replied sighing. "We already know what we're doing. We're voting Vector, and that's final. But we're not the ones who are in the most powerful position. And yet at this point when it comes to those three villains, I literally do not know what else to say. I really don't. You can only come up with so many arguments."
"There is really only so much you can say." Donkey Kong agreed. "It's being a broken record at this point Ryu told Wolf the other day when we were split because of the reward that the winner is gonna be either Vector or Zelda. Golden and I were with them from the very beginning, and with the exception of Shadow going home, everything has gone their way. That entire four person alliance. Vector and Yoshi never even tried to hide their already established relationship going into the season and they're both still here."
"If everybody stayed consistent for the rest of the game, this is exactly how it's going to work: myself, Golden, Ryu, and Bowser are all gonna be picked up one by one until there will be only sevn players. Springtrap, Wolf, and Plague are going home seven, six, and five, until there is the final four. Shovel Knight and Yoshi will both be going to the end no matter what, and they lose to either Zelda or Vector. That is exactly what the rest of this game will be like if nobody wants to make a big move today. Not just making a move just for the sake of making one, but rather making one to change history for this season. It's time to put a stop to the Hero Four once and for all."
So that was those three out the way. For the next group of three, Zelda, Vector, and Yoshi were down at the water. ...Yep. It was pretty obvious where everybody knew where everybody stood with the apparent alliances. Nobody was hiding anything anymore... Or were they?
"Okay, so a conversation obviously needs to be in order." Zelda started it off. "As soon as Shovel Knight gets finished helping Plague with the fire, we need to inform him on the plan immediately."
"Alright, then." Vector said exhaling. "Let's lay our options on the table. I would say that Bowser is a possible choice, but... he's been kinda flopping lately. I think the only challenges that he's really good at are the ones that require brute strength. He can't balance, can't do puzzles, and he's clumsy. I'm surprised he's actually won immunity before."
"I think he had enough time on a puzzle or something... Haha!" Yoshi laughed. "Kodai Island for a first season was quite chaotic! I'm actually glad I wasn't a part of that."
"So if we're not targeting Bowser from that group, then maybe it should be Ryu today... or Donkey Kong." The Mobian suggested. "Those two on the other hand are probably gonna do well in every single challenge. Golden's a bit easier to deal with, so we could afford to keep him in one more round over the other two, and we'll just hope that we don't run into the one challenge where Bowser wins immunity. ...Now let's talk about the villain three."
Yes. It was not as if they fell off the Hero Four's radar. They were living in their minds rent free.
"Well, Plague Knight has won immunity, which is fine." Zelda hunched her shoulders, with that brunette hair of hers now being tied into two pigtails (which she does sometimes). "I'm glad he had his moment, but obviously he's not going to be nearly as big of a problem compared to Wolf and Springtrap. And you know, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them has found the idol for this camp."
Nah. Unfortuntely for her, somebody in her own core alliance found the idol, and the other dude that was with him is one hundred percent aware about that. Zelda and Shovel were compeletely out of the loop with that.
"Guess it's all about what direction we wanna take it today.".
"Correct." She answered Vector. "And even though there is a chance the villain three might not actually pull the trigger, they're going to do so, anyway. They are going to attempt to strike before we do, but we're the ones that need to strike first if that's going to be the case."
"My core alliance is myself, Vec, Yoshi, and Shovel, and we've been doing a pretty good job keeping ourselves together. We aligned since the Meta Knight Tribal Council and all four of us are still in this game, and for right now I plan on keeping that way. Vector was the target of SGA, and my name has been written down as well. Vector going home right now destroys my game which destroys the games of Shovel Knight and Yoshi. Survivor is always a numbers game, and if Vector's one of many that needs to go home just so that I can advance myself, now is far from the time to do that. But most likely, that is something the villain three plan on doing soon. I prefer to get rid of one of them before they come after my alliance."
"I think the vote should be between Wolf and Springtrap." Okay, there. That was one possible blindside in order. "We would just need to figure out which of the two is more dangerous. Springtrap might be physically stronger, but Wolf has social connections to both Bowser and Donkey Kong, and all three of them were part of the first season."
"Alright, got that written down in my brain." Vector nodded in confirmation. "Who should we go for?"
"My name has been tossed around, and it was written down last tribal. And any time your name is written down in Survivor, it's like you take a shot to the heart every time. Both of the Mario Bros were known to get paranoid and worried sick even at the thought their names being put down, and I don't blame them." And what he said about them was not sio far fetched. Mario did complain a bit whenever he received votes, because he ended up getting the most votes in a single saason in Survivor history with thirty.
Regarding Luigi, every time his name came up, he grew so increasingly scared of him being voted out he ended up... not doing anything in the game at all, resulting in him being the definiton of what a blank resume looked like coming into Final Tribal Council. ...Why did people assume he was going to win season two again? "This season, I ain't taking any chances. Whatever I need to do to avoid going home, I gotta do it. I was a main target in my own season for being a big threat, and I feel like that's gonna happen again. You know I didn't want to be too aggressive right now, but it seems that I don't have a choice. Bottom line is that if things really start to head south, I'm getting Yoshi to play his idol on me. I ain't going nowhere."
Okay, so that the second group of three out the way. Two alliances down, one more to go.
Now as for the villain three, they never really took the time to come up with an actual name, so that was the name people began to give them at that point and they accepted it feeling like it did make sense.
And it was actually something Springtrap and Wolf were talking about in the woods.
"Why are we being called the 'villain three'?" The former spoke to the lupine. "Maybe they just couldn't come up with anything else, but... we're supposedly in the allinace of seven with those four heroes. Anti-SGA. Us being called the 'villain three' further adds onto the list of reasons why we're at the bottom of the alliance. And they damn well know it, but they can't admit because it hurts them."
"Like, duh." Wolf agreed. "Anyone with IQ over two could see that. To be fair, this 'Hero Four' was pointed out by SGA first. But still, we're gonna look like the biggest idiots on Survivor if they all vote one of us off."
"Okay, so Plague's with us, Vector's going home and that's our final decision."
"Striking before the other person is crucial out here." Now Wolf was stealing words from Zelda. "The Hero Four is not gonna know what hit them. This entire time Springy, Plague, and I were trying to play it off as if we can't see past final seven. We've been making sure we were telling them that we're gonna stick loyal to the Anti-SGA until we reach top seven. But honestly, if they're not expecting us to flip and make a move, that's not All Star gameplay. Not at all. You gotta be much smarter than that. But I don't think the Hero Four are really taking advantage of this, because if anything, they'd need to get rid of one of us first. Though if they're not gonna do that, we gotta make sure they're the ones looking stupid here. We're three votes, and we're gonna use the four votes from SGA to make it a 7-4 on Vector. And if he has the merge tribe idol, he's gonna embarrass himself in front of a lot of people that are watchin' and I'm not gonna be feeling sorry for him in any way."
Okay, so that was all of the alliances. Time to just jump to Tribal Council, right?
Wrong. Not yet... Though it was rather interesting to see that both core alliances in Anti-SGA were going after each other at the exact same time and they did not even know about it.
"Just gathered y'all up for a quick update." Wolf and Plague Knight (who swapped out with Springtrap with the cooking just so that he had the chance to strategize that afternoon), with the entire strong people alliance by the tree mail. "To put it bluntly,... none of you are going home."
"!?"
"We're doing it."
"Oh, holy bananAs..." Donkey Kong suddenly felt like he had nothing to worry about anymore.
"About damn time." Bowser spoke out folding his arms.
Ryu went over to shook hands with the two, DK and Golden both joining in. "I was preparing myself to go home roughly in the same spot. Thank you so much."
"I wasn't ready to go home, yet. This really means a lot!" Fredbear beamed. "Vector, right?"
"Vector it is." Wolf smirked in reply.
"I've had too much of a difficult time with this already." Plague Knight grinned. "We have to make a big move tonight, but we need the four of you all to help us do it!"
"We'll help you." Golden nodded with assurance. "That's why we're all standing here. We won't tell them anything and we'll all play up at tribal."
"Playing double agent is really a dangerous job to handle. Only the best of the best can do it. ...Can I do it? I hope so." Yeah, Springtrap was not wrong. Flip flopping all the way to the final three sounded like a very tall order to pull off. "There's always the chance that either of these alliances could come after me at any point after this, and that's why we need to make the move now. Like Chica said once, just because I could go home doesn't mean that I have to go home."
Not another castaway referencing Chica Candance of all people!
"Alright, time's up boys." Wolf snapped his fingers. "We can't be detected here, even though it wouldn't matter since we have the majority anyways. Split up. Come on. Let's go."
And with that, the group of six all headed off in multiple directions in an instant, Bowser taking off with Donkey Kong.
"Told you they'd do it. They ain't that stupid."
He wrapped his arm around the monkey's shoulder, which made him do the same as they walked along. "Thank the Survivor Gods. This works out and one of us get to the end because of this, we'll make Ridley proud."
"Okay, so I'm not going home, yet." Golden laughed out of excitement. "This whole season for me has had its really high highs and low lows. I lost majority of the challenges, someone played an idol on me, I got blindsided, my core alliance idols Shadow out only to still be in the minority, now I'm in on this blindside here. Rollercoaster ride for me for sure, but hey, Marth had a similar Survivor experience when he played and he ended up winning. Who knows? Maybe getting the overall experience is something the jury can look at considering on all I've been through out here."
Though there was something that was going on minutes later. By the water well, Zelda and Yoshi pulled over Donkey and Golden to the water well.
"...You're what?" Golden, who just had a confessional about how glad he was of not going home, blinked in utter shock. Maybe the actual confessional did not take place until aftewards, likely before they were called to Tribal Council. "You all want to vote for one of them?"
"We feel like they could come after us. What if after this vote they convince you guys to join forces with them and send one of us home?" Yoshi wondered. "We do not want that to happen to us. And besides, we feel like Springtrap could be a long-term big threat to win. I've played with him before. He's very smart!"
"..." The bear slowly exchanged glances with the other hero in reaciton. "Okay... Well I guess if that's what you all wanna do, we'll hope on board. We'll tell Ryu and Bowser everything and we'll do what you want."
"Hehe, well to be honest, I have felt bad for the both of you. We started on the same tribe together and I know the two of you had it rough more than us." Zelda expressed with honesty. "You two really deserve a break, so... maybe take this as our way of apologizing on the old heroes' behalf."
Wow... That was one social play to look at.
Golden and his friend both accepted her apology in a near instant, going out of their way to friendly embrace the two of them individually. "No hard feelings for either of you. We're all thinking about ourselves out here since this is our second shot at getting that title and the million. Just doing our job."
"Meta going home made us both upset, but blindsides happen out here all the time when you least expect it. They're always going to be part of the game." Donkey Kong added. "But even though I was never out of the loop, I never took it personally. We attended so many Tribal Council we were going to be divided at some point."
"Hopefully this could all be a way to make it up to you." Zelda continued. "Besides, old heroes have the majority right now for the first time of the game. We should take advantage of that anyway, considering that those three are all villains."
"It really woud look nice!" Yoshi agreed. "I'd say we all do it!"
"So we are officially making our move against Wolf and Sprigntrap today." By the way Shovel Knight was talking in his confessional, this was most likely taken place after he was told of what the Hero Four's move was going to be. "If this works, that's one move on my resume I can bring with me, say if I make it to day thirty-nine. Apparently I was a threat in spite of me not having too many moves to name, but it was my social game that did it. I really was just being myself out there, so if being myself works, I can get away with doing that again. Only difference is that my strategy needs to be more centered this time, or I'm going to the day thirty-nne with nobody actually planning on casting votes my way to win."
But wait a minute... both core alliaces approached SGA.
All this literally forced all four of them to come back together, grouping themselves far away from the shelter on the beach.
"And all that took place literally minutes after Springtrap and Wolf pulled us over." said Golden, taking a look at their astonished facial expressions. "Yeah. Mind blown, right?"
"...When did the Hero Four decided that it was time to send one of them home?" Ryu asked out of curiosity.
"I don't know when that was made up in their minds. But if the the Villain Three approached us wanting our help to make a move, and then if the Hero Four approached us wanting our help to make a move, then..." He widened his eyes and stared at his fellow alliance members. "You all know what this means, right? ...Right?"
"Oh, Star Spirits." Things really changed quickly for Bowser in this case scenario.
"And we have about, I dunno... maybe ten to fifteen minutes to discuss this?"
"We'd better put all our heads together and think fast on this one." Donkey Kong placed his wrists on his eyes staring at the ground. "This is clearly not what any of us expected..."
"Well hey, at least we're not going home. That's all that matters." Koopa sounded too elated at the time to worry, but he knew he had to be serious for the next ten to fifteen minutes. "Okay, okay, okay... Bottom to the top. ...What do we do?"
"We've been targeting Vector for over a week." Golden realized. "He's the main one we've been campaigning to be voted off, so naturally we would think that he should be the one going home next..."
"Then again," Donkey Kong spoke up. "Zelda and Yoshi have both made some good points about Springtrap. He's both physically and mentally strong, and he's socially charming. Wolf is his right hand man, and even though he's blunt around the edges, he's socially charming in his own way. He could be an under the radar kind of player if we wait around too long to get rid of him."
"One minute I thought I was going home, and the next thing I know I'm suddenly not in any danger of going home today at all." With the sun setting when Ryu was talking, it meant that tribal was going to start any minute. This really was a last minute scramble, especially with people from both sides of the fence confirming to SGA of what they were doing when they were scheduled to head to the voting urn. "All in a span of one afternoon. You really never know when things can change for you, and just like that-"
He snapped his finger. "-you hold the power of the entire round of the game, and I'm pretty much a swing vote for the very first time in my Survivor career. New feeling. Still haven't even had time to process it because this is literally right before Tribal Council. Me and the other guys had to discuss plans fast while being careful of making the right choice. I don't know if we'll ever be in this kind of position ever again, so whatever move we decide to make, if it blows up in my face somehow, it might be the biggest regret in the world."
With the remaining eleven players grabbing their torches and leaving the island, people were going to be on the edge of their seats of who exactly was getting the boot next.
Tribal Council
Night 24
One more elimination to go, and the official top ten season was going to be confirmed. This was basically the mid-season around that point. Usually what went on at this stage of the season were the predictions of the fans of how the season was going to finish, who was a contender to win the game, and thoughts of the Survivor season as a whole.
And yet, the mid-season of the game did not mean the season was finished just yet. Changes could occur out of nowhere and in the most extreme case, it could single-handedly turn the whole season in another direction.
For the players involved, knowing full well of how the game worked, there was no excuse to lower down their gurads no matter what. The game was always going to be played literally every second of everyday. Any crucial conversation missed, and peoples' games were all of sudden out the window.
To show an example, it was how Fox McCloud and Falco Lombardi of Kodai Island somehow ended up at the bottom with Bowser and Dedede, not really having much of a clue of what was going on at the time before it was too late. ...And by the way, Fox McCloud as well as Samus Aran went down as two of the most unlucky Survivor contestants in the series thus far. Both of them deserved to have a second chance, especially with the latter being the most screwed over player of all time.
"We'll now bring in the members of our jury... Shadow and Ridley voted out at the last Tribal Council."
All of the remaining castaways of SGA watched as the big dragon sat down on the jury bench, just wanting to see who was going home so that he could get back to whatever he wanted to do at Ponderosa.
"Alright. Eleven players left." The overall view of the surviving castaways was shown as Master Hand talked. "Six heroes, five villains. Now in spite of everything the heroes have gone through, the original villains seem to be in the minority. The heroes on the other hand actually have the numbers advantage here... That is, if tribal lines are still a thing. Shovel Knight, are they or are they not?"
"They're not." He shook his head. "It's far from that. The overall blue tribe having the numbers advantage was not something that went unnoticed. Nevertheless, there are clearly different alliances here. Ridley was part of the Strong Guys Alliance, he got voted off. Bowser, Ryu, Golden, and Donkey Kong remain, while the rest of us are in the Anti-SGA alliance."
"So no matter who of that group is going home tonight, it could be either a hero or a villain."
"That's where we are right now. Yes." He nodded this time. "Does not matter what tribe they come from, even if two of them are from our old tribe."
"Golden and DK."
"Correct."
"Alright, so this means that it's never going to be Heroes vs Villains ever again. We have an alliance of seven versus an alliance of four. However, based off the discussion at the last tribal, things are a little more complicated. Plague Knight, Springtrap, and Wolf were all in the middle. They were the three swing votes needed for both alliances. And in spite of Ridley's best efforts,-"
"It was all in vain..." He mumbled on the jury bench with his chin resting in his plam. The creature was really giving off the impression that he just wanted to go back 'home'. What were the chances of him expecting another one of his allies being picked off that night?
"-he was voted out, further weakening the Strong Guys Alliance. Yet the thing is, an alliance of four consisting of Zelda, Yoshi, Vector, and Shovel Knight was pointed out by SGA. Bowser, you all were trying to get the three middle people to see that they had no chance being with those four old heroes and that all they're gonna do is take you to final seven and vote one of you off there."
"And our thoughts haven't changed." King Koopa bobbed up and down. "At this point we're all tired of saying the same thing a million times. My damn mouth is starting to hurt these days from all that talking. But hey, it's Survior. We always gotta do a lotta talking!"
Both of the jurors exchanged glances.
"Well, when we're strategizing, I'm pretty sure we have to talk, Bowser..." Donkey Kong put him in his place. "You're not gonna sound like my cousin where strategizing shouldn't be part of the show."
OOH! Not him dragging his own family on universal television!
"If we're all strategizing and planning with one another, there's going to be some talking in it. We're talking right now as part of our routine discussion at Tribal Council."
"I think I get your point, smartypants. And don't try to tell me you don't even wear pants. That's why your own cousin wears clothes and you don't."
OOOOH!
"Ladies, please. You're both pretty." Springtrap joked, earning himself some laughs from a few folks around him.
"But, seriously. I get his point, Master." Bowser kept going. "We've told these three a million times of how they don't have a chance in hell sticking with the four heroes. They literally started on the same tribe together and they're not gonna split up until the final four. So until then, they need the rest of us strong men to go home one after the other. The only positive thing I can say is that I've been flopping in immunity challenges lately, so maybe they'll keep me around for a little longer."
"Ryu, is there really nothing else to say? Ridley has explained all that he could have, yet the middle three sided against you all, anyway. Do you feel like it's really no use, or do you think that there's still the chance that they can be swayed over?"
"Well like Bowser said, I do believe we've done all that we could have." He shook his head exhaling. "I mean if sticking with the Hero Four is the direction they want to take their games in, then I can do nothing about it. We've warned them repeatedly, we told them of the consequences, but if there's nothing we can do to stop it, I just gotta hope is not me by this point."
"And by saying with you hoping that your name is not gonna be the one written down tonight, have you all considered throwing each other under the bus and targeting each other just to show that you're in with the group?"
"I believe there's a time and a place for it. Maybe that would have been something we all could have done, but we are still four votes. And in a tribe of eleven, if an alliance needs four votes to make a move, why would vote differently and target each other? Someone could be waiting for the right time to use our votes in a good way, and we'll show that we're here for 'em and we can put a plan in place."
"Vector, your alliance," His pointy finger meant that he really wanted the crocodile on the spot. "you in particular were being targeted. And it seems that you're the biggest physical contender and that you should be the one going home."
"I mean," He hunched his shoulders and eye a couple members in his opposing alliiace. "if it's the strongest of the strong in challenges that have to fight the most in the post-merge phase of the game, why wouldn't you all consider taking me with you? Not that I'm gonna, but I've won immunities before and I'm pretty much a buff guy. None of you ever thought of bringing me over."
"Actually, Ridley and I have." Ryu nodded with certainty. "Don't you remember when we both approached you before the merge?"
"...Okay, you did. I'll give you that." Suddenly Vector remembered. "But unfortunately, I already had allies and my mind was already made up at that point."
...Meh. Kind of an awkward silence there, but tribal was not quite done yet.
So the only thing the master could have done was simply ask another question.
"Plague Knight, so with you having the immunity necklace for the first time in your Survivor journey, that's power in itself. Now it seems like even though you have already chosen what alliance you want to play this game with, and yet you still seem to be in a swing vote position. You could pretty much take Wolf and Springy and jump ship at this vote if you wanted to."
"These four strong guys right here are really pushing as hard as they can. You know, for them it sucks because they really liked Ridley, and I know how it feels whenever you align with someone, they ended up going home to leave you here all by yourself. Shadow and I had each other after Specter Knight went home, but he got taken out and I didn't want that to happen."
He had his arms remaining on his lap.
"But you know, I've learned that you have nobody but yourself to rely on in Survivor. Your ally or friend goes home, that's something you have to deal with. Survivor didn't care about my ally going home, so in all fairness, it's not going to care about whoever leaves here." He was kind of going off topic. Last time the fans checked, Master Hand's question was about him still being in the middle... "But ever since Shadow left, I've been kind of in the center with these four wanting me to jump ship to help them out."
About time. Much better.
"It's up to me and what I wanna do, but you always gotta hope you make these right choices. Thank the Survivor Gods that I have the necklace on me right now, but getting to the end is a whole chore in itself. One wrong move and my entire game is done, so say if I do jump ship, it's not going to be for them. I am not trying to help them win. I'm trying to help myself win, because everybody is playing for themselves out here and we all know it."
...
"...Wow." Master Hand suddenly said. "Usually it's not really too hard for me to ask you guys some questions, but honestly,... I am having a hard time right now. It's basically just like the last Tribal Council. There are two alliances that are against each other, one alliance in the middle, it's literally the exact same situation all over again. The only difference is that Ridley was voted out here and today is simply going to be somebody else."
"Running out of ideas for questions?" asked Springtrap smirking. "Time for you to get another job."
Literally everyone that was at least part of the Tribal Council either dropped their jaws or exploded with laughter. What. The. FU-
"Well, I'm part of the production team, so I'm not going anywhere. Who would replace me if that was the case?"
"Ain't you got a brother or something?" Bowser cocked his head.
"My brother cannot run this show." Damn! Now the host himself was dragging his family in front of the entire universe. Supposedly to some folks, family was not everything in their eyes. Though to be fair when it comes to some people in the world, they unfortunately found themselves being hurt by the ones they care and love for the most. Perhaps one should have been so quick to judge both the hand and the gorilla.
But seriously, though. What did Crazy ever do to him?
"Golden, it's literally the exact same situation like last time. Barely anything has changed at all."
"All the more reason why the villain three should side with us and flip over." He replied with Wolf looking his way. "It's as if fate is giving them another shot to do it. Maybe Ridley was just too big of a physical competitor to stay, but tonight is another opportunity for them to make the move. Wait too late to do it, it's a loss for everybody except for the ones we're going after."
"Okay... Everybody comfortable leaving it at that?"
"I guess so." Vector hunched his shoulders. "I'm just tired of my name being thrown around. I have the people that I trust, hopefully they end up doing what we discussed, and Imma pray that I'm still here."
"Alright. Then with that, it's time to vote. Zelda, you're up."
With her pigtails intact, she was up on her feet on her way to the voting booth.
"It's time to stow my fear. It's now or never."
Ryu was then called up second, with Springtrap going up third, his vote being the only one shown that night.
V-E-C-T-O-R
"Hopefully this blindside on you is well timed."
Golden was then seen opening up the fountain pen.
"This is gonna be a good one..."
Wolf and Bowser both followed suit, Donkey Kong then walking with a determined look on his face.
"Everybody is going after each other while the twist is that we're the ones that for once get to six back and watch everybody's reactions at tribal."
Yoshi wrote down his target, Plague, Shovel, and finally Vector all doing the same.
"I'll go tally the votes."
From the jury bench, they were already making their predictions.
"I think it's Ryu." Ridley mumbled to Shadow.
"I think it's DK."
"We lose either way." He hunched his shoulders. "It is what it is..."
Oh were they in for a treat... "If anybody has a hidden immunity idol and you wanna play it, now would be the time to do so..."
No one was looking at one another for this one. Though for two certain players, they pretty much knew something no one else did. And by them not even glancing each other's way, they probably had a small discussion about the idol before they left the beach.
What was Yoshi going to do?
"..."
...Nothing.
"Okay."
Vector stared at the ground already feeling a pit in his stomach. In his mind, he was seriously hoping he was not going to regret anything that day.
"Onces the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes."
Music: Sector 1 (SSBU/Metroid Fusion)
Did everybody have their popcorn?
"First vote... Vector."
That made him lower his head, yet he was still staring at the master all the while.
"Vector. Two votes Vector."
Yikes. Rough start. Hopefully within the next few votes, things were set to change.
"Vector. Three votes Vector."
Zelda's eyes were a bit scrunched with her fist resting against her face. Vector really already got three votes before anyone else's name was revealed? Something did not feel right...
Ryu and Donkey Kong were sitting still watching the votes being read out to them.
"Wolf."
"!?" The lupine shifted his head in all directions with the most confused reaction.
"Huh...?" Plague Knight frowned. What in the world was this to him? When did Wolf become a target and why?
"Wolf. Two votes Wolf."
"What?" This made literally no sense to Springtrap. Who was writing his Wolf's name down?
Both jurors on the bench were already speechless and the hand still had a whole five more votes to go.
"Wolf. We're tied. Three votes Wolf, three votes Vector."
Bowser curled up his lips preparing himself.
"Wolf."
He facepalmed shaking his head as he groaned deeply.
"Four votes Wolf, three votes Vector."
"Wow..."
"What is going on?" Springtrap was chuckling, though confounded as ever.
...
"Vector."
Now it was Yoshi that started to get confused. To him, if Vector was getting votes, he only was supposed to get votes from the villain three and that was it.
Ridley frowned. He really had no clue what was happening at that point.
"Four votes Vector, four votes Wolf."
"Uh..." Plague simply did not know what to say.
Shovel Knight placed his fist underneath his chin.
"Vector."
Covering his face with his hands, he knew what was coming at this point. It was him. He was going home. The idol not being used at that moment was a fatal mistake.
"Five votes Vector, four votes Wolf."
"Oh no..." Yoshi could not have believed this.
Bowser was starting to snicker at their dismay.
Zelda sighed. This was not her plan. At all. This was the first official major setback for her game.
"Tenth person voted out of Survivor and the third member of our jury... Vector. That's six, that's enough. You need to bring me your torch."
#Blindside
He wasted no time in getting up, though he was still disappointed.
"Where's my 'hashtag blindside' at, guys?"
It was already there. He was late.
"What the hell...?" Wolf was glad he was spared, but he was still as lost as ever.
"Hahaha!" Kevin found it to be hilarious. "I guess we both went after each other at the same time and didn't even know... You guys didn't say anything?"
Directing his energy to the four members of SGA, Ryu was the one to reply. "Why should we? We didn't even know we held the power of the vote until the last minute since nobody told us anything 'til that point."
"I feel like this is my blindside in my first season all over again." Shadow commented. "We all blindsided each other and were all left stupid."
"Vector, the tribe has spoken."
Snuff.
Yoshi did not look happy in the slightest. He was upset for Vector, but he was mostly upset at himself. The poor dinosaur could have actually idol'd Wolf out and save his friend's life.
"Well, perhaps the next time we come here, I'd have even more questions to ask. My job will remain intact."
Chuckles were heard from nearly everyone present.
"Grab your torches, head back to camp. Goodnight."

"I, uh... I don't even know what happened! I... Wow. I think everybody voted for me except for my alliance, so the villain three did turn against us and I guess Wolf didn't expect his name to come up either, because we were probably both trying to backstab each other leaving the strong guys in the middle of all places. My only thing is that Yoshi should have played his idol on me and now nobody out there knows except for him, but... guess we all make mistakes."

Sorry for tribal probably being underwhelming for some, but at least I had Master Hand being honest with him saying the he generally did not know what to ask the castaways at that point. Not counting the voting results,... nothing really changed that much. But then again, everybody was playing up the whole time thinking things were going to go their way. In this case though, this is the first time the Hero Four has to endure a major loss in Vector. This is also basically the closest to someone getting sent home with an idol in their pocket, considering that it has literally never happened in my series. So yeah, Yoshi should have played his idol on him here, but it is what it is.
Alright, Olimar. Season six, here you come.
