Survivor - Heroes vs Villains
Chapter 33 - Day 29 Part 2
Alright, this chapter is being released around the same date the first chapter of Survivor - Kodai Island came out (September 5, 2018). ...Yeah. I really can't believe it's already been five years! Not only it kick started this whole series off, it basically changed the direction of my account on here. It went from just an experimental story of what would happen if 20 smashers were competing in a Survivor type of game, and now it's turning into a whole franchise at this point.
And with this series, I feel like I finally found my footing on here. Been writing since 2011, so I've pretty much spent half my life on this site and I wouldn't change a thing. But without all the feedback and support you guys have been giving me (even though I haven't been posting much throughout the past thirty days), I wouldn't be on this site and would have moved on. I really appreciate every one of you because it really means a lot.

Day 29
Donkey Kong, Bowser, Yoshi, Zelda, Wolf, Ryu, Shovel Knight, Plague Knight, Golden, Springtrap
-/-
That was a wet one for sure.
And, oh. Guess what? ...It was still raining!
All ten players had their heads down as they made there way back to the shelter, with every last one of them drenched and shivering. Yoshi Dinorino (yes, that was his last name) in particular ran out of words to describe how much he was freezing. He was downright tired of it. Reptilians were cold-blooded creatures so of course they were going to have a more difficult time.
At the same time though, of all the reptiles that have competed on Survivor, Yoshi was complaining the most. And that was combining his second season with his first. It was best to based that from lack of experience, since he was in fact younger than the rest of them.
"So do we all just sit in the shelter or what?" The green creature asked. "That's pretty much all I wanna do right now."
"Well, obviously camp life is going to be miserable as hell today." Wolf heaved a sigh in annoyance. "What else can we do? We don't really know how long the rain is gonna last. We basically already have our water. Just stick your tongue out and taste all the raindrops."
Ryu snickered in reply. "You know when it snows people love to use it to make snow cream."
"Haha! Used to love it when I was a kid. But some paretnts are telling their kids that there's a lot of 'bad stuff' in the skies these days, so some of them don't even do it anymore."
"Let's not talk about snow right now." Yoshi was hugging himself as hard as possible. "I'm already too cold to even think about it."
"We come back from the immunity challene and it's still pouring! Haven't we been through enough? See, anybody that knows me knows that I don't like the cold that much. Nobody wants to be shivering and freezing all the time. And aside from that, now we can't even cook the rice today!" Now the poor dino was going to be hungry. "No fire, no homecooked meal. All we have are the coconuts and that's it! We haven't had anything to eat all day!"
"The only good thing about the rice predicament is the fact that it's gonna be one less serving we have to worry about, because we all know we still have to ration it." Donkey Kong saw a lose-win in the situation. "We eat the meat from the coconuts and drink from them today. Other than that,... we're gonna have to deal with it."
Zelda heaved a sigh shaking her head. "You can't say that this is not what we signed up for..."
"Ain't that the truth." mumbled Springtrap. "Maybe we can all just wait around for the rain to lighten up at least a little bit."
"And in the chance that if it doesn't, then what do we do?" Plague assumed the worst case scenario.
Wolf knew that at the end of the day, nobody had the ability to control the weather. "We'd probably have to get the coconuts while rain is constantly pouring on our heads. It might need some serious teamwork, so for right now we'll just try to dry ourselves off for at least a few minutes."
Yep. They just had no towels and obviously there was no drying off in the sun. All they had were wet clothes and no fire. That was Survivor in a nutshell.
"We do have to battle the elements and each other, but people who aren't actually out here tend to forget about the 'elements' part. That alone makes this game so damn hard." And being a returnee, Golden Fredbear knew better. "But today, the rain came down at the worst time possible. We're basically not having dinner today. We can't do laundry, so no clean clothes. But do you really want to know the worst part about it? ...Tribal Council is coming. This is usually our time to scramble around... And yet, it's pouring and we're freezing cold. It's still possible to strategize, but it's even more difficult with these conditions and people aren't gonna super motivated to do it. Yet at the same time, my mind is all over the place going, 'Hey, we can't just sit around all afternoon. We got to work to do. Tribal Council's coming!'"
But for the next several minutes, the remaining ten survivors did not do much at all. From the looks of it, their main priority was getting themselves together and warm up. Or at least they were attempting at their best to do so. Not a soul wanted to move or do anything, even though they were well aware in their minds that sooner or later, conversations were in order.
Now for those few people that always desired to have Survivor in colder climates such as Alaska for instance,... was this what they really wanted? All of the castaways staying huddled up all the time and barely strategizing? This was the literal result and it was not even snowing in the Caribbean. Imagine how worse it would have been if that white stuff did fall from the sky.
Ninety percent of the strategizing would have been out the window! So regarding the warmer climate being preferred for the show, it was not just about chicks and hunks being in swimwear. If Survivor happened in colder temperatures, the show would have been freaking boring. Nobody would have watched that.
For the next several seconds, there was no music playing at all, as well as not a soul uttering a single word to each other. The only noise being heard at the time was the rain falling on everything.
...
And all the while, there were close up shots of Golden, Wolf, Ryu, Zelda, and Springtrap. All five of them had some sort of look of disappointment on their face, yet a couple of them had a hint of anxiousness in their facial expressions. They were wondering on what they were going to do.
...
Yoshi was seen shivering yet again. At this point, the audience had already received the message.
Donkey Kong suddenly had a thought. "Maybe if Foxy was still here, he would probably say something along the lines of... shiver me timbers."
#ShiverMeTimbers
"In pirate language, that is usually what they do to express themsleves when they are annoyed or surprised about something. In this case scneario, I speak for everyone when I say that it's appropriate to take it literal this time. We're all shivering out here, and we just had a wet immunity challenge while it was raining all at the same time. But strategy is the one thing we have to do to make sure we keep the target off our own backs while putting the target onto somebody else. Yet we were all wanting to stay underneath the shelter for the rest of the day due to the weather... However at some point, everybody knew that the conversations needed to be had soon, or else we all would have just waited all the way to Tribal Council to have any kind of discussion. You have to find it within yourself to understand that it's your life that's probably at stake and if it's supposed to be your last day in this world, you're going to do everything you can to save yourself no matter what. The weather should be the least of your concern, so it was a matter of time before somebody stood up to do anything... So even though I was already guaranteed to not go anywhere, me and my alliance had important things to discuss. I eventually decided that I had to be the bigger person and get the ball rolling."
"..." After looking around at everyone one last time, the big ape got up on his feet and went for the machete. "These coconuts aren't gonna get themselves."
Widening his eyes just at the sight of the Kong making the first move, Bowser immediately reacted by getting on his feet as well. "Gotta have some kind of food in us. If it's still like this when we get back from tribal, my growling stomach is gonna be louder than the rain!"
Wolf and Plague Knight both exchanged glances while the rest of the tribe eyed the two members from SGA going off. But then without saying a word, Plague Knight hopped out of his spot and followed the two alpha men... He did not care. Not one bit. And besides, he had his mask and cloak by on. That was a small advantage right there.
"I... suppose it is best for us to get some food. I'm getting the axe." Springtrap promptly got up and made his way over to the tool kit. "Some of you can follow if you want."
Or if they dared from a strategical sense. He sounded rather tempting...
And Shovel Knight took the bait.
"I feel you might need some help with that, my friend."
Help? ...That man did not need help knowing how to use an axe. Everyone knew right then and there of what Shovel's intentions were.
And in addition to that, the moment when she saw Shovel walking away, Zelda almost instantly followed suit. Normally she was as careful as she could have, but having a strong feeling that her friend was going to have a strategic talk with Springtrap, it was foolish of her to not be a part of that.
"_ it." Great. Wolf left too.
"One by one, people were starting to leave the shelter. Plague Knight was with Bowser and DK, Zelda walked with Shovel Knight and Springtrap somewhere else, all to 'get coconuts'. I think for once every last one of us were in the headspace thinking, 'Okay, I got to talk.' And all that was left were me, Golden, and Yoshi." Ryu found it hilarious. "All Yoshi wanted to do was warm up in the shelter, but once he saw his two allies in Zelda and Shovel, even he knew he had to go out there. Hell, I even gave him permission to do that knowing we're in completely different alliances!"
As Golden snickered to himself, the reptile had his eyes on his two closest tribe members the entire time following Springy to who knew where.
Ryu cocked his head to the side. "Don't you wanna follow 'em? They're your friends over there."
"I..." He sighed shaking his head. "I know, but... What about you two? What do you two wanna do? ...The rain doesn't seem like it's gonna lighten up any time soon."
"Then I guess we'll just say a few words while we can." Golden shrugged his shoulders. "It's Survivor."
"Dude, go out there." Ryu grinned widely. "You know you want to do it. Everybody knows what everybody's doing, so go ahead."
"Um,... okay." Blinking, he got up from his spot and got ready to leave.
"Before you go though, please be aware that those two villains and Plague Knight are all going to do everythin in their power to make sure you all side with them today." Oh, so apparently Ryu knew exactly what was going on. "I don't know much time any of us have to talk today, but if this is our last time talking to each other like this before tribal, just remind them that the vote is going to be for Springtrap."
"Okay, okay. I'll tell them when they're with me by themselves." He heaved a quick sigh and went along. "As long as it's not me, I'm okay."
"It is a major relief that the Strong Guys Alliance prevailed and got our target out the other night. Last time around this stage,... I was literally about to go home because the train I was driving went completely off the rails, crashed, and killed me instantly." Shaking his head sharply at that flashback, he went on to look at the present. "Now at this stage, we did lose a member. But unlike last time, at least majority of the passengers are still here. Ridley... fell off... Hopefully the media doesn't twist my words up as if I'm throwing shade his way by saying his career's in the toilet."
Ahahahahaha!
"The man outpeaked himself and did better than his previous season, but I'm getting sidetracked here. He fell off the train, but we're still here and have a fighting chance of keeping the majority on our side. And in order for us to stay on the rails this time, we need to get rid of whatever threat we can. Springtrap could become a problem if we wait one vote too long. Zelda, Shovel, and Yoshi are the least of our problems. Wolf is his right hand man, and Plague Knight has somehow managed to survive this long without having his name written down once. Comparing them to each of the members of the Hero Three, that makes them thrice as dangerous."
"Man... We didn't even need to make a plan to leave or nothing. We're already here."
"And we get to be the driest, too, since we are the only two left at the shelter while everybody is gonna keep getting rained on." Fredbear found no reason to complain at all. "Win-win for both of us. Springtrap, right?"
"Springtrap it is."
It was an easy way to knock those two out of the way. But there were still a whole seven other tribe members to go through... It was an appropriate time to cue in some fitting music. While the whole justice for Bramble Blast thing was going to last until the end of the episode, two songs had the ability to co-exist.
Music: The Hidden Village (SSBU/The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)
The combination of the nature of the song with the rainy atmosphere made the whole mood rather intense considering the ten Darleem members splitting off in several directions at once. And given their current situation, every last person needed to know what to do for their own game plan, while making sure they were not the one going home.
Anything for a million dollars and the title of Sole Survivor, right?
With Donkey Kong up in the three whacking away with the machete, two green coconuts fell down from the three. Bowser from down below caught one in each hand, Plague Knight watching it all as he stood directly beside him.
"Okay, so what are we going to do about the vote? Are we all writing down Zelda?"
"At this point, might as well split it between her and Shovel to avoid any idols."
"Okay. Thank you." The master alchemist grabbed one of the coconuts from Bowser's hands and went on his way. Oh yeah, without asking. ...People ain't had no manners. Not at all.
"I'm afraid I don't have enough time to have an in depth discussion with Springtrap and Wolf today. But we did talk about what we thought of doing this morning and yesterday." During the middle of Plague's confessional, DK and Bowser were both gradually turning their heads to face each other. Each of them had a face which contained a bit of laughter knowing of what they were both hiding from their fellow contestant on purpose. "I wanted to get King Kong out of here, because after two seasons, I've had enough of dealing with the Kong family. I'm tired of them being the kings of the jungle all the time. But guess what? I have to deal with him again because he won the challenge! So the most my alliance can do is write off either Ryu or Golden. Those are his two best friends and they both already aligned together before in my own season! One of them has to go before they get me out of here!"
Zelda, Wolf, Springtrap, and Shovel Knight were gathering coconuts of their own with Wolf being high up in the tree. He was forever thankful for the claws he was blessed with from the Survivor Gods.
"Watch your heads." Very serious warning right there. Nobody wanted to have a coconut dropped on the head, unless they wanted their skulls fractured.
Springtrap heaved a sigh at his current strategical predicament. "DK winning is a minor setback. He's gonna go home at some point anyway, but right now we need to decide between Golden and Ryu. Worst case scenario, we'll just have to be slick and tell Plague when we gather our stuff as we're getting ready for tribal. Good thing I talked to the two of you during the challenge."
"I really don't mind either of them going home." Zelda was just glad to be safe, but she knew there were advantages to keeping one in over the other. "Who would you all prefer?"
Davis hunched his shoulders. "They're both strong..."
"We could write Ryu off because he's been consistent in literally every single individual challenge he's been a part of across both of his seasons." Wolf knew how to study this stuff. "Ken is just like him. They both have to be physical for a living and they have the same master for crying out loud. Ryu is never gonna flop at an individual challenge. Though he is beatable, and so is Golden. Golden is more of an under the radar kind of player. He makes subtle strategic decisions to get by. And just like Mexico, he's really good at managing his threat level where Ryu was the exact opposite. If Goldielocks is ignored for the rest of the game, it's gonna be too late for us to get rid of him if he is sitting at that final three. So in comparison, they are both just as dangerous. One is more immediate, the other one is gonna be a longterm problem."
"Got one coming down!"
"Oh...!" That was a great catch, Zelda! No head damage for her! "O-Okay... So with one of them gone, we'll just... get rid of the other, I suppose?"
"Hey, we can probably make top six if this works out today." Now the rabbit was proposing a final six deal. Hmm... "Yin Yang Six."
And there came Yoshi. "Did I miss anything important?"
"Don't worry, kiddo." Wolf shouted from above. "You're good."
"Springtrap's namimg the six of us, including Plague, as the Yin Yang Six, and we're going to send either Ryu or Golden home tonight." Zelda told him.
But knowing the conversation Yoshi was just involved in with those two in particular, he just bobbed his head up and down in response. "Um, okay. I don't care which of the two is going home tonight..."
"Dropping down!"
Two more coconuts fell, Shovel Knight being the one to catch them both this time.
Now as much as Yoshi hated the rain, he used the loudness of it to mumble under his breath. "I think I'm a swing vote again..."
"Myself, Shovel, and Yoshi went from being the ones who just got blindsided last tribal to all of sudden being in the middle. This side wants me to vote out this person. This side wants me to vote out that person. It's a crucial position to be in as always, and there are legitimate reasons to weaken either alliance. Whatever decision we make, best case scenario I'm sitting at the end with some actual votes to my name this time. Every single decision you make has to count, or else there is no chance you are getting the title of Sole Survivor."
Tribal Council
Night 29
The rain was finally put to a stop for the time being. Since nobody was allowed to predict the weather, they had to hope that it was not going to rain anymore for the rest of the night. They were not even sure if some of the wood was going to dry out in time. Darleem really needed to have a fire going. Fire was always the source of life in Survivor when it came to everything.
Speaking of fire representing life, somebody was one thousand percent set to lose their flame at the Tribal Council.
"We'll now bring in the members of our jury... Shadow, Ridley, and Vector voted out at the last Tribal Council."
Following the first two jurors, Vector the Crocodile came on the scene with a large smile, the other three crucial members of his old alliance all grinning back. Poor Vec. They all wish he was still out there to annoy everybody else to why the hell was he still in the running to potentially win.
"So, after we have lost five villains in a row, we're now down to half the cast." There was an overall view of the ten remaining players. "Numbers are once again dead even. Five heroes, five villains, but the theme of the season has been out the window."
"Not just out the window, master." Springtrap shook smirking. "It jumped out the window and fell down a skyscraper."
"You're basically implying the theme killed itself, then." Highly offended people was probably going to take Ryu's comment the wrong way and act as if he was making fun of suicide or something. ...Yes, to be clear, suicide was always a verys serious issue. But to clarify, it was not Ryu's intention at all to make light of that. It was a simple joke just to make fun of the season's theme... Nothing more.
Obviously that was the case. But since when was common sense actually common, anyway?
"I'd say that statement is rather accurate if things keep going the way they are." Master Hand gave them his own opinion. "And based on the results of the last Tribal Council, people were left in the dark. Blindsided. Raise your hand if you did not play a part in Vector going home."
Now one had to be very slow to not know who the three players were.
"Zelda, Shovel Knight, and Yoshi. And you three were aligned with Vector for pretty much the whole time."
"We indeed were." Yoshi bobbed his head up and down. "And everyone already knows that Vec and I share two seasons together now, and it was very sad to see him go out like that. I really didn't know he was going home, so upon him leaving, I went right to the bottom of the totem pole."
The crocodile curled his lips.
"And I was fearing that I was the next to go the entire time, because it could pretty much be one of the three of us to be sent to the jury right after him."
"Psh..." Shadow mumbled. "I don't buy it."
"Me neither." Ridley agreed. "Something else is going on here."
"Shovel, Zelda, you two also think one of you is about to go home now?"
"I wouldn't be surprised at all if that was the case today." Zelda hunched her shoulders sighing. "It's the moment when you feel as if you finally have something going on for you out here, and the rug is snatched beneath you in a matter of a second. You can never really get too comfortable out here. All it takes is one person to consider you a threat, and you're an option to go home."
"There are only three of us and seven of them." Shovel Knight added on. "All they have to do is split the votes four to three, one of us is gone. And it's a shame, really. Every last one of us that are sitting here are fighting for a second shot at being the Sole Survivor. Yet there are only three spots at the end, not ten. And only one person can be the winner of this."
"Maybe in the chance that I'm still here, I can pray to the Goddesses that I win the rest of the challenges." Zelda laughed in front of everyone. "It's all I could really do at this point if things aren't in my favor."
"And your plea is basically anyone but the three of you."
"Correct. There are a lot of threats out there that should be more worthy of consideration. And if somebody is looking at another a certain way, our three votes could help them out and maybe we could all be part of a new alliance."
"Golden, so if the rest of you plan on sending one of the Hero Three home, and then all of a sudden you change your mind and realize that, 'Hey, what if this other person is going to be a problem for my game?'"
"I'm pretty sure we're all thinking like that all the time. This is our second go, so our minds are sharper given of what we all had to go through. We don't like making mistakes, because any little thing can be like a death sentence. You want to make all the right decisions as possible. Though the Hero Three are currently at the bottom, you never know. One day there might be a possibility that somebody could be going after me, and I would retaliate by defending myself. Any man or woman could do that, and that's what scares me."
"Staying on your toes at all times."
"A great way to sum it up. Yes."
"You agree with that, Wolf? You got a clear target on the board, but just because there are three safe options on the board does not mean it's an automatic guarantee. Last minute plans can literally come up at tribal, and then everybody's scrambling all over place."
"I've... pretty much been there." Yoshi commented with his head down.
"Last minute do come up here. That's why we call them 'Live Tribal Councils.'" The lupine nodded in agreement. "But we're fools if we ignore the concept of 'always expecting the unexpected.' ...Though at the same time, maybe I am a fool for not always having that mindset, since I've already been blindsided in this very season. But stuff like that, you never know what can come up at any moment. It's a combination of trust issues, not knowing which way is up, and paranoia. In other words, you might not feel safe enough. And you know what? I wouldn't even blame you. This is your game and you have the right to fight for your own spot until you feel like you've gotten everything off of your chest."
"Do you feel safe tonight?"
"Um,..." He wanted to get a good, quick look at every last player that was sitting by him (with over half of them grinning in reaction). "-I suppose I feel safe at this moment. It's where the trust comes in. But say if something goes left and I'm out of the loop, I'm gonna have some real trust issues with certain people. Then again, it's the game. It's designed for us all to be involved in some mess. But it's not intentional. We're all fighting for first place and that's how it should be. That's how you be a worthy competitor."
"So Plague Knight, all of this is simply what you all just signed up for. That's the impression that I'm getting from Wolf."
He heaved a heavy sigh. "I can't say that he's wrong. You know, I survived all thirty-nine days last time and I've really been through it. I was blindsided at my first tribal, I was a part of one of the biggest Tribal Councils of all time, I was a swing vote in multiple situations, and nobody really expected me to be sitting at the end. It was definitely a wild ride, but it's really taught to never really count your own self out. Say if I get blindsided right now, I'm gonna be pissed off, but I would have to find a way to somehow claw myself back up."
"And if you do feel like you're in trouble, that does put the fear and worry in you, which brings us back to what Golden was talking about. If you feel a little strange about something, it does make you reconsider your options. And maybe that could eventually lead to all of the Hero Three being spared today."
"It does, but... from what I was told, I was not going anywhere. I could be being lied right to my face right now. But all you can do is hope that even if there is going to be a blindside today, I'm not the one being axed here."
...
"Alright. It is time to vote. Bowser, you're up."
Ugh... This tribal was not really that interesting in comparison to the previous ones.
"I really don't think any of them are going home..." Shadow mumbled under his breath.
And that was the case. Since everybody was trying to blindside everybody, there was only so much one could say. The last thing a certain alliance needed to happen was someone spilling the beans and leaking crucial information, and everything would have been chaotic.
Bowser showed his vote to the camera.
"Get your springy-ass outta here."
OOOOOOOH!
Dead...
Wolf was called up afterewards, Yoshi and Shovel Knight both then being seen at the voting booth next.
"This vote should hopefully keep me safe for a while. You were a worthy competitor, and if I don't do this now, you will vote me out later on."
Springtrap's face was shown with his eyes staring at the ground, awaiting his turn.
He had to wait until Golden and Ryu were finished first. And once he was up, his vote was held in front of him. Yet the name on it was hidden from view.
"This is just so that I can avoid further paranoia down the road."
Zelda and Plague Knight were up next to cast their votes in, with Donkey Kong being the last one to write down his intended target.
"I'll go tally the votes."
With him leaving, all the jurors really prepared themselves for was of who was going to get called on next to be sent over to the jury bench.
"Hero Three ain't going anywhere. It could literally be anyone else." Ridley lowered his head to Shadow's ear.
Vector's only hoped was that both of them were correct.
"If anybody has a hidden immunity idol and you wanna play it, now would be the time to do so."
...
Plague Knight brought a fist beneath his chin.
"Okay. Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes."
Zelda kept her hands folded, ready to see how the votes were going to be read.
"First vote... Springtrap."
"Hmph..." He shook his head. That itself was a red flag.
"Springtrap. Two votes Springtrap."
Wolf curled his lips, already beginning to feel some type of way.
"Springtrap. That's three votes Springtrap."
Bowser blinked, just wanting him to keep going. Plague on the other hand already had a bad feeling.
Ryu did not move a muscle.
"...Golden."
Now Fredbear curled his lips in reaction.
"Golden. Two votes Golden."
"This is interesting..." commented Vector.
It still did not change the nervousness that Springtrap felt inside.
"Golden. Three votes Golden, three votes Springtrap."
He shook his head in denial, not wanting to see his name come up anymore.
"Springtrap. Four votes Springtrap, three votes Golden."
Crunch time, now. Those were all the votes from SGA and the Villain Three alliances. All that remained were the votes from the Hero Three, the deciding factors of the night.
Kevin looked as if he was about to piss his pants, while Golden appeared as if he had a gun to his head. One thing was for certian, a FNAF character was definitely going home on day twenty-nine
...
"Golden."
In complete disbelief, the poor bear slowly brought a hand to his face closing his eyes, all of his alliance members either being shocked or irritated.
"Are you serious?" Bowser muttered frowning.
"Four votes Golden, four votes Springtrap."
Yoshi's eyes fell to the floor out of guilt.
"Okay, then." Shadow spoke quietly.
"Golden. That's five votes Golden, four votes Springtrap, one vote left."
"Oh, thank god." Davis heaved the biggest sigh of relief, really thinking he was a goner.
Bringing another hand to his face, Golden was in a mind of his own, picturing himself being selected to sacrifice himself just for the sake of the other players. For a second time, his dreams were about to come crashing down.
"Eleventh person voted out of Survivor and the fourth member of our jury." Bam. "Golden. You need to bring me your torch."
#Blindside
...
"Oh boy..." Slowly rising from his spot in disappointment, he went behind everyone else to grab his torch. "Sorry. I just needed a little time to process this, but... good luck to everyone."
Whew... There was no need to have another Foxy moment.
"Hey..." Donkey Kong got up from his spot, giving him a pat on the back before they friendly embraced. "Good job."
"Always as calm as ever." Of course Ryu was sad to see him leave as well, hugging him briefly. "You did the best you could."
Springtrap turned his head to Zelda and mouthed 'thank you' her way, to which she nodded.
"Golden, the tribe has spoken."
Shaking his head, but still smiling, he was his with a ton of bricks upon seeing his flame going out.
"Time for you to go."
Not without having a few more final words to say. "I've really learned a lot from playing this game twice. I had a great, interesting time with all of you. My only advice is to play your heart out and enjoy yourselves out here while you still can. Don't forget, I'll be having a hand in who gets to win this thing."
"See ya, Golden."
"Bye, Golden."
"Adios, Goldie-locks."
Ignoring Springtrap making fun of his name, he began to make his way down the stairs, disappearing into the night.
"Hmm..." Master Hand summarized some thoughts in his mind. "It looks everybody was thinking about protecting themselves down the line. The Hero Three weren't targeted at all. Could this possibly mean something even crazier is about to happen? I don't know. It's up to you all to figure out what to do next. Grab your torhces, head back to camp. Goodnight."

"So I tried to play smart, but subtle again. I didn't expect myself to be a huge target coming into this, so I thought I'd get a way with it. But this season for me had more ups and downs comparing to my experience in Mexico. It's Survivor, though. If you play twice, you could get a completely different experience on your second go. I really tried to be as patient as I could have, but sometimes it's not enough. I really wanted to pull out the win here, but I suppose that's going to somebody else. If DK or Ryu somehow get that crown, I'd be skydiving."

SURVIVOR DISCUSSION
Alright, so this time we'll discuss something from Emperors vs Knights. Let's talk about... the final eleven round where Shadow was blindsided.
Okay, so after Marth's idol was finally flushed and Roy was sent home thanks to the Knights Tribe Alliance (plus Marth and Freddy who flipped on their tribe and blindsided Shulk).
Now after patiently waiting for a while, Foxy Michaels finally decided that it was time to jump ship with a hidden alliance of his own, the Pirate Crew (well it was the Hidden Five to the other members of the alliance (Bonnie, Knuckles, Freddy, and Shadow). But Foxy wanted to keep the real name a secret to himself in his confessionals to avoid making it seem like he was the topdog of the alliance... interesting, but that's beside the point). The plan was to also recruit the bottom feeders in Marth and Zelda and take out somebody from Chatan Four (Sheik, Shovel Knight, Greninja, and Luigi). They also wanted to flush out the Knights Tribe idol which Shovel Knight had, and Luigi to them was the least likely person they'd give it to in the chance Chatan Four became suspicious.
But unfortunately, Marth and Zelda decided last minute that it was not worth working with Shadow anymore due to his history of... being a problem. He was a social pariah, flipped on Mega Man, manipulated Krystal, and then flipped on Shulk. So it was perfectly understandable to why they didn't find him to be reliable ally, and so Shadow went home instead in one of the biggest blindsideds of that season. And there has been discussion that Foxy waited a little too late to make a move. But at the time he figured that it was best to get rid of Marth's immunity idol to make sure the minority didn't have any advnatages the Pirate Crew would have had to deal with in the long run.
So let's say that Foxy wanted to make his move at final twelve. He, Freddy, Bonnie, Knuckles, and Shadow would have recruited Roy, Zelda, and Marth as a voting block of eight. Maybe... split the votes between Shovel Knight and Greninja, with Shovel going on the re-vote due to him being speculated of possessing the idol from the Knights Tribe idol. The Pirate Crew could have easily told Chatan Four to still split the votes between Marth and Roy while covering up their true plan. Let's see here...
It would have been a 4-4-2-2 vote (DEFINITELY would have been interesting to see). Shovel ends up going home and the game would have been wide open. But this would have been a bad look for Greninja, Sheik, and Luigi. They would have been at the bottom against the Pirate Crew plus... the Emperor Three. Thing is though, while there's the chance the Emperor Three sticks with Pirate Crew in that situation, they could have easily took advantage of the situation by suddenly siding with Chatan Three in the following round, turning the tables against the Pirate Crew. Not a guarantee at all though, since it could have gone either way... What do you guys think? Does Foxy have a higher chance of winning if he flipped one round earlier, or do you think there wouldn't have been that much of a difference in the long run regardless?
So I honestly... didn't expect this to be a blindside at all before I wrote it. I was going to have Golden actually realize he had a high chance of going home today with him kinda begging on his knees to the other players to let him stay. But given the situation, as I was writing it, I was like "Hmm... okay. He could actually get blinsided here, because he thinks Springtrap's going home." And then it rain for the entire afternoon, limiting strategic and in-depth conversations.
But even though Golden was never really a main character in either of his seasons (taking backseat to players like Ryu and both of the Kongs), he still had a few moments here and there where he shined on his own. He was a team player when it came to the Brain Tribe alliance, his strategy in Mexico was in complete contrast to Ryu's, the organic friendship between him and DK, and he even got saved by an idol not once, but twice. The only one who has that kind of record at that. And then on a minor note, to some folks Golden leaving would be kinda "meh" on the surface. He's not the most entertainig/crazy kind of character. He's boring and he knows it lol. But he always seemed like a really nice, regular guy. Really intelligent as well, probably the smartest of his old cast in season three.
So his Ponderosa chapter will be coming soon, after his extended final words are posted.
