Previously On Ninjago: Children of Yin-Yang…

The Ninja had succeed and recapturing the four Silver Fangblades and had arrived at Torchfire Mountain for their destruction. Unfortunately Pythor, who had managed to sneak on board, stole the Fangblades and made his way to the City of Ouroboros to fulfill his goal of reawakening the Great Devourer. A high speed, desert battle battle of the Serpentine Express lead the Ninja into a race to reclaim the Fangblades and stop the snakes. But they were too late, Pythor returned to the Lost city and placed the four blades into the statue of the Great Devourer, awakening the colossal beast, slumbering beneath the city itself. As Sensei Wu and Pythor now prepare to face the end, The Ninja now face they're greatest challenge yet.

In the City of Ouroboros the Ninja, Nya, Wu, Pythor and Burmesia watched as the creature down below ready to rise up, "You must do everything in your power to stop the Great Devourer!" Wu told his pupils as he kept a tight hold on Pythor. "Go Ninja, GO!"

"No, uncle Wu!" Lydie reached out as Nya grabbed Lloyd and flew back to the Bounty.

"Uncle Pythor?" Burmesia asked in worry.

Pythor turned to niece before back to the eyes rising up, before sighing in acceptance to his fate before looking back at her, "Burmesssia, you're in charge now." He said to her giving one last smile. "Make me and your father proud, my child."

Burmeisa went wide eyes as tears started to form before the ground shook stronger.

And then they sights back to the pit as after a moment of silence... monstrous green reptilian head with a frill around its head erupted from the earth! Everyone stood back in abject horror as the gargantuan serpent rose higher and higher as the lightning flashed behind it, making the beast even more terrifying.

The Great Devourer then opened its mouth and released an unworldly roar that shook the heavens themselves. Suddenly, it turned its sights upon Pythor and Wu and then lunged its gapping jaws down at them, and got them in one bite.

The others watched in horrified shock at what they saw. "... Sensei," Kai whispered in sorrow.

"Uncle..." Lydie and Burmesia whimpered out, both just witnessing their uncles just killed off.

"No..." Jay whispered as all of them were in disbelief of what they just witness. After swallowing the small snack it had, with some yellow magic flowing over it's scales, it let out a frightening roar before it draws its attention towards the Ninja and Burmesia. "Oh, maybe if we stand perfectly still…" Jay said frighteningly.

"I don't think it will be fooled." Burmesia commented, slithering back a bit.

"Then I say we RUNNN!" Lydie cried out as the Ninja and Burmesia ran back to the bounty.

The Devourer chased after them, surprisingly fast for its size, as it destroyed the buildings around it. As they ran Jay tripped on his and fell, as he shook off the sand he turned to the Devourer as it let out another roar.

"HEY WAAAIITTT!" Jay screamed, finding his second wind and catching up quickly with the others, the Devourer right on his tail. "WAIT FOR ME!"

On the bridge, Lloyd look out the window as he saw the others and the Devourer coming towards them.

"Fire up the engines." Nya ordered as she ran up to the wheel. "I said fire up the engines!" She shouted, snapping him out of his trance and getting to work.

"There's no wind! And we're only have reserve fuel!" Lloyd told the others as he checked the readings.

"Use it." Nya said as the others, including Burmesia quickly came aboard and tumbled over each other. Everyone went to their stations as Jay looked on the screen and saw the Devourer was still chasing slithering towards them.

"Uh, hate to tell you this, but objects in the mirror are closer than they appear." Jay said to Nya.

"Working on it." Nya replied as she activated the Bounty's thrusters. "Blasters on fold." The Bounty took off, just barely missing the Devourer's jaws.

Kaai looked outside and saw the Devourer was gone. "Whoo-hoo! Take that, you stupid snake!" He cheered.

"Hey!" Burmesia called out in offensive.

"Not you, the Devourer." Kai corrected.

But unfortunately, Kai spoke too soon as out of nowhere the Devourer burst out the of the ground in front of them.

"Uh, I think it heard you, Kai." Jay commented fearfully as the Devourer kept chasing them.

"Starboard!" Lydie ordered as Nya turned the ship right when the Devourer lunged at them again. "Where's Umbra?! She should help us with that thing!" She pointed out.

"Never mind that, just keep going faster Nya! That thing is gaining on us!" Kai told them.

"We're going as fast as we can!" Nya pointed out as she kept steering. "Luckily, Umbra isn't here to add in extra weight! I'll try to make it to Scatter Canyon." She said as she steered the bounty to that direction.

"Ssscatter Canyon?! That place is a maze of dead endsss and passsesss!" Burmesia exclaimed.

"And probability of us making it that far is less than 8 percent." Zane calculated.

"Never tell me the odds!" Nya told him.

"It's coming in for another attack!" Cole said. "Port side!"

The Bounty turned left, just barely dodging the Devourer again.

"We're losing speed! We'll drop to the ground pretty soon!" Lloyd called out as he monitor the Bounty and saw that they are slowing down.

"Throw everything overboard!" Lydie ordered.

"What?!" The others all shouted in surprised.

"She's right, we need to lose some weight." Nya said, realizing Lydie's plan.

"Port side!" Kai called out before the Devourer nearly got them and bit off a thruster.

Everyone then got started on throwing everything they have on the Bounty overboard. Lydie came to her room and grabbed whatever she could, but as she passed her uncle's quarters, her eyes landed on his tea pot. After some consideration, she grabbed the teapot and ran out the room.

On the ground, the Devourer saw the Ninja's furniture as it took the chance for a snack, gobbling everything thrown out as it kept on slithering.

"Man, he's sure is hungry." Jay commented as the Bounty now gain more speed as Lloyd saw the monitor going up again.

"Actually, 'sshe'sss' very hungry isss what you ssshould sssay, Ninja." Burmesia pointed out.

"THE GREAT DEVOURER IS A GIRL!?" They all shouted in shock.

"How can you…" Jay was about to ask.

"A sssnake knows another snake'sss gender." Burmesia simply said with a shrug.

"Okay." Jay said slowly before he notice the Devourer got bigger. "But does anyone else think the Devourer looks bigger than it did before?"

They would agree with him before they saw it shed a bit of scales and grew bigger.

It was right there and then Cole figure it out, "The more it consume, the bigger it gets!" Cole said in realization as Lydie then threw the teapot over board. "Don't throw anything else overboard!" He called out, but Lydie threw the teapot too late as it entered the Devourer's stomach.

The Bounty then flew towards the Gorge. "We made it to the Scatter Canyon, hold on!" Nya said as the Bounty navigated around the twists ans turns of the canyon as great Devourer tried to keep up.

The bounty move around but then saw the Devourer slithering towards them. The Devourer came so close that the computer made a 3D Hologram that spooked Jay. Kai went to the head of the ship as it was flying through the Canyon.

However, there was no sign of the Devourer anywhere. "Heh, we lost her," Cole said, only to jinx it as the Devourer burst from below and sliced off the other thruster with its tail.

Alarms blared as everyone held on to something. "Mayday! Mayday! We're going down!" Lloyd shouted.

"Abandon ship!" Nya shouted. As the Bounty was going down, everyone on board was preparing to leave before Lydie ran into her and Nya's room as she search around for anything that hasn't thrown overboard as she saw a wooden box she kept before she grabbed it and ran out the room. As the Bounty crashed on the ground, everyone struggled to stay up as they felt the shaking from the crash.

Jay crashed through the Window and on to the deck. Everyone else ran out as well.

"Goodbye, old friend," Zane said to the Bounty as he and his Falcon jumped off and the Ninja summoned their vehicles and Nya's suit, with Lloyd, Lydie and Burmesia hanging on as they moved away from the Bounty as it landed on its side.

They all bowed their heads or wiped their tears as the Great Devourer appeared again, eying the ship. The heroes headed for the rock and watched from a distance as the Great Devourer lifted the Destiny's Bounty up with its mouth... and completely shattered it with one single crunch.

"No!" The Ninja cried out as they watched their second home be destroyed as the Devourer while Burmesia was shocked by what she saw. Finishing its snack, the Devourer dove back underground to find more food.

"Unh, it's gone," Cole said as each Ninja took off their hoods while the other laid down to catch their breath.

"That was too intense. All that action," Kai said as he laid on his back. "Makes you so thirsty."

"That was way extreme, even for us." Lydie commented as she held onto the box she saved before they got off the Bounty.

"There is no time to rest." Zane told them, "We must warn people before it becomes bigger." He said as the Devourer slithered beneath the sand behind them.

"Bigger? BIGGER?!" Jay shouted, before pointing to what remained of the Bounty, "That thing, in just one huge bite, demolished our entire ship!" He pointed out in slight panic as he paced around. "We need to save as many as we can. Uh, uh, we'll find some kind of refuge, somewhere safe to hide." He said lowly.

"Are you talking about the Ssserpentine Tombsss?" Burmesia said uncomfortably.

"Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about!" Jay shouted, which made Burmesia flinched from that. "Yeah, they're underground. Sure, we'll be without sunlight for months, but they're perfect!" He anxiously said.

"And what, just give up?" Cole questioned as if Jay was serious.

"You know as well as I do, we have no chance at stoping that thing!" Jay shouted at Cole.

"Hey, stop it! Enough! Listen to yourselves!" Lydie called out as she break the two boys apart before things gets any more crazy, "Is this what Uncle Wu would've wanted? Us fighting? Running and hiding like rats? Giving up?" She questioned them.

"But he's not here anymore." Lloyd said solemnly as the others lowered their heads in sadness of their loss.

Lydie sighed as she gave a determined look as she walked up before facing her friends. "But his teachings live on." She said to them.

Kai get what's Lydie is saying as she joined her. "Lydie's right. Sensei Wu once told me it's not the size of a Ninja in a fight, but the size of the fight in the Ninja. All this training, all those battles we've had with skeletons and the Serpentine." He recounted, reminding all they had accomplished since Wu found them, "We've persevered through so much; we can't just give up now.

"And a Ninja never quits. A Ninja always picks himself up when he is down." Lydie continued as she grabbed Cole and Jay's shoulder. "Which is exactly what Uncle Wu would want us to do right now." She declared..

"But how do we destroy a snake of that magnitude?" Zane questioned.

"Yeah, it's not like we have an extra Sacred Flute lying around to charm it. Or wait, haha, how about Umbra? Oh, I forgot. She took off, like our other dragons, and left us high and dry. Or hey, what about our Golden Weapons? Which will do nothing against a snake that size!" Jay listed out at just how limited their options were, as he sank down to the ground "Heh, oh, we are so hooped."

Cole sighed, realizing Jay was right, "Jay's right. We need would a weapon so big." He stated before Lydie chuckled.

"As Uncle Wu once said: Sometimes even the tiniest ripple is needed to create the mightiest Tsunami." She recited before pulling out her box, "And this my friends is our ripple." She opened the box and the Ninja, Burmesia and Nya looked on in widen eyes at what they saw.

In the box was look like the Sacred Flute, but it looked like it appear to be homemade as it was carved through some wood, but from the handiwork, it looked exactly like the Sacred Flute.

"The Sacred Flute?" Nya asked in surprise.

"But how?" Burmesia asked in shock. "My Uncle had the lassst one in all of Ninjago before he wasss eaten." SHe pointed out.

"Well, this my friends isn't the original Sacred Flute." Lydie explained as she took the flute out of the box and threw the box away. "After we lost the first flute to the Serpentine, I asked Uncle Wu what the flute was made of, which he went into every detail after he held onto it for so many years. So, after many nights and spare time when we aren't on a mission, I manage to carved, polish, tested and recreated a new Sacred Flute." She revealed as she held the flute. "I was into crafting back in the Orphanage." She commented.

"Does it work?" Nya asked.

"That's the problem, I don't know if it will work." Lydie admitted sheepishly. "I never tested it."

"Well, you can tessst it on me." Burmesia offered, which surprised the others as they turned to her.

"Are you sure? We know how painful it is to your kind." Lydie asked.

Burmesia nodded in determination, "It'sss partly my fault the Devourer isss on the loossse, I'm willing to take a little pain if it meanssss stopping it."." She said as the others looked unsure as Lloyd spoke.

"Burmesia…" Lloyd started before Burmesia lifted her hand.

"It'sssokay, Lloyd. It'sss a price I have to pay." Burmesia said with a small smile as she turned to Lydie. "Sssing the note, Lydie." She said.

Lydie nodded slowly as she lifted the flute closer to her as she took a breath as she then played a familiar note they haven't heard since the original flute was taken. As she played the note, Burmesia screamed as she covered her ears in pain as she tried to block it out.

"Ooowww! Aaahhh!" Burmesia screamed in pain as she covered her ears.

Lydie stopped playing her flute once she saw Burmesia in pain as the Anacondrai girl lowered her hands as she sigh in relief, "Well, it worksss." She commented as she was glad the pain and note stop.

"Now we have something that would give us the advantage against the Devourer." Lloyd said with a smile.

"Well, that's great an all." Lydie said with a small smile before she grew concern. "But even with the new Sacred Flute in our hands, the Great Devourer is too big for this small tune. We need to find a way to weaponize it somehow and loud enough for that big snake to hear." She said while trying to think of a plan.

"Maybe we need an idea that's even bigger to weaponize the Sacred Flute." Kai said with a wide smile as he turn to Lydie. "Ha! Lydie, you're a genius! You thinking what I'm thinking?" He asked excitedly.

"Honestly, I think not, but go head." Lydie said in confusion, not sure what Kai is thinking since he hardly tell them any plans.

There's no time! I'll fill you guys in on the way," Kai said as rushed out into the open.

"Wha-Where are we going?" Lydie asked him as she and the others felt very lost.

"We're going to destroy that snake once and for all!" Kai declared with his arm raised.

Meanwhile at the entrance to the Fangpyre Tomb, the Serpentine had packed their things and were jumping in one by one after hearing about The Great Devourer was on a rampage. "Why did we lisssten to Pythor?" Fangtom asked Skales as they, Skalidor and Acidicus were talking about recent events.

"Unleassshing the Great Devourer wasss a horrible idea!" Skalidor added, slamming his staff down.

"It'sss all you're fault, Skales!" Acidicus blamed.

"How wasss I sssupposed to know he wasss mad?!" Skales defended, as he was just as surprised by the turn of events.

"You were hisss first lutentant! You should've known better!" the Fangpyre General retorted to his old friend, "And now, the Devourer will eat us all!"

Just then the Devourer slithered past them and the Serpentine quickly jumped into the tomb one by one.

"Out of my way, cowardssss!" Skales demanded as he and General slithered to the opening and bumped into each other.

"It'sss you and them that ssshould be called cowardsss!" Skaildor argued.

"I'm the one sssurrounded by cowardsss!" Acidicus retorted as the fell into the tomb.

"You three are the cowardsss!" Fangtom finished as he closed the Entranced and the Devourer slithered on.

The group soon arrived to the junkyard of Thunder's parents on their Spinjitzu Vehicles before they stopped. Once their vehicles vanished, they gather around and took off their hoods. "Good idea, Kai," Cole said. "If the Devourer likes to consume, this place is a full-on buffet."

Jay walked over to the trailer and knocked on the door only to get no response. "Looks like my parents are gone," He told the others.

"Good. Better for us, then," Kai said as he then placed the blueprints he had on the front of car and it showed the design for that looked like a combination of all the Ninja's vehicles as they all gathered around.

"Whoa." Lydie said in surprise.

"It's so awesome." Jay commented as they all huddled up while Lloyd tried to look at the blueprints.

"Zane, you manage to get a recording of the Sacred Flute music Lydie played or the old one you have in your memory bank?" Kai asked the Ice Ninja.

"Yes, I have its exact tone recorded and ready for playback," Lydie told Kai as he flipped up the panel on his left arm and played a recording of the Sacred Flute.

"Good, and Lydie, think you can give Zane a few more notes just incase?" Kai asked.

"Sure thing. Though, Burmesia, you should wear earplugs." Lydie advised the Anacondrai.

"Way ahead of you." Burmesia nodded as she grabbed some ear plugs and plugged them into her ear as she gave them a thumbs up.

"Okay, guys." Lydie started as they all turned to her. "There should be enough spare parts around here to build this whopper," She said as she looked around the junkyard. "But we're gonna need to create our biggest Tornado of Creation yet. This is gonna be dangerous and we can't have anyone around."

Just then, they heard a bell ringing as they turned and saw the mailman riding his bike at the entrance of the junkyard as he whistled happily.

"Ugh. What's he doing here?" Cole questioned in annoyance.

"Better turn invisible, Burmesia." Lydie advised as Burmesia nodded as she turned invisible to stay out of sight from the mailman.

Kai and Jay then ran up to the mailman. "Aah!" He gave a startled scream when he saw them. "You Ninja are always sneaking around and giving people heart attacks. You're too quiet." He pointed out.

""Sorry, didn't mean to scare you," Trail apologized. "But you need to get out of here, now."

"Uh, well, now, I too have a job to do too," The mailman said as he took out a couple of letters from his mail bag. "And that's delivering the mail, which I plan to do."

"Look, dude, my parents aren't even here," Jay said to him as he took his parent's mail from him. "You really should be on your way."

"Them too?" The Mailman asked before remembering a special event. "Uh, let me guess, are they at the Take Back Ninjago rally too?" He guessed.

"Uh, Take Back Ninjago rally?" Jay asked as he and the others came as they are confuse to what that mean.

"What, you guys haven't heard?" The mailman asked in surprise. "Everyone's getting together for a rally in Ninjago City. You know, to raise awareness about all the Serpentine problems that have been surfacing lately." He explained as he walked up to his bike.

"Really?" Lydie said in surprise. "That's new." She commented.

"Whoa. Would you look at that?" Lloyd said in an impressed tone. "You guys are inspirational." He added, while invisible, Burmesia shook her head at that, seeing that her and her kind have done more damage to Ninjago than they did before.

"Wait a minute." The mailman said as he realize why the Ninja are telling him to leave. "You know what? You guys are right. Wherever you guys are, trouble is always around the corner." He started as he didn't notice the Devourer is behind him as the Ninja put on their masks and took stances. "I think I'll be leaving now because whatever you guys are up to, I want no part of it." He finished.

The mailman then turned to see the Devourer. "AAHH! G-g-g-giant S-s-snake!" He screamed before diving into a trashcan. The Devourer turned its attention to the Ninja before looking to the junkyard, licking its lips at all the options it had.

As it was wondering where it could start its meal, the Ninja got ready, "Hey, snakey! Over here!" Lydie waved as she turned to the others. "Okay guys, it's now or never! NINJA, GO! Darkness!" She called out as she did Spinjitzu.

"Fire!" Kai yelled as he did his.

"Earth!" Cole did his next.

"Lightning!" Jay yelled next.

"Ice!" Zane finished with his.

Soon, the Ninja combined their elements into the Tornado of Creation. As the Tornado was gathering a few items in the junkyard, Nya, Lloyd, and Burmesia were holding on as do not get caught up in the Tornado. The Devourer watched in confusion as the Ninja turned its food into a combination tank comprising of all the Ninja Vehicles.

"Zane, now!" Lydie ordered as it Zane fired a sound blast of the Sacred Flute's song at the Devourer. But it caught on to what they were doing and dodged.

"Zane, what was that?!" Cole asked when he missed. "This isn't target practice! You're supposed to hit her, not give her a haircut!"

"May I remind you, we just magically whipped up this heap of junk," Zane told him.

"Well, I hope one of us created a reverse feature, because..." Kai said as he noticed the Devourer was about to attack. "Reverse!"

"How's this for reverse?!" Cole shouted as he pulled a lover and the tank moved back when the Devourer slammed its jaw in the ground.

Lydie then drove the new vehicle as she drive around to dodge the Devourer's bite strikes as Zane fired at the giant snake again, but she dodge it as they drove the vehicle over the wall.

"The Devourer keeps moving, I can't get a clear shot." Zane called out since he can't get a clear shot.

"Guys! You need to keep the Devourer still long enough for Zane to make the shot!" Lydie told the three on the lower cockpit.

"How's this?" Jay asked as he fired two grappling hook claws from the side of the tank and grabbed hold of the Devourer. "Got her!" He told them as they reeled the Devourer in place.

"Now Zane, before its gets back up! Fire now!" Lydie ordered.

"Charm your way out of this!" Zane said as he fired the sound blast at the Devourer, finally making impact, knocking it down as the flute song echoed throughout the area.

"Heh, it's working!" Cole cheered as the Devourer started to roared in pain at the music while Burmesia is glad that she's wearing her earplugs to block the sound.

Kai then noticed something on top of its forehead. It looked like a glowing green dot and he had an idea of what it is.

"It's got a weak spot!" Kai told the others, but the volume of the song was too loud for them to even hear him.

"What?!" The other ninja shouted as they did not notice the Devourer's tail rising up from behind the tank.

"On its forehead, it has a-" Kai was cut off when the tail truck where Zane and Lydie are and stopped the song.

"ZANE! LYDIE!" They all screamed in fear as the Devourer slithered away.

"Is everybody okay?" Cole asked them.

"Where're Zane and my sister?!" Lloyd asked in concern as he, Nya and Burmesia ran up to them.

"We're okay." Lydie spoke as she got out, looking unscratched as she remove her mask as she coughed. "Though Zane..." She trailed off as Zane pushed some rubble off him.

"No need to worry, just a scratch." Zane assured as his scratch was really the left side of his face missing, revealing his robotic components, "That was a close one." He casually said, feeling like nothing happened.

"Too close." Kai added as the mailman rode off once the Devourer was gone.

"Perfect. Now that was a total failure," Jay complained as they hopped out of the tank.

"Not total," Kaispoke up. "Did any of you notice what's on her forehead? It has a weak spot."

"Oh, great, let me make a note of that:" Jay said, pretending to write something. "Giant snake has wee, itty-bitty weak spot that'll be TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO HIT BECAUSE THAT THING IS TOO INCREDIBLE HUGE TO DO ANYTHING TO STOP IT!" He screamed

Nya crossed her arms and looked at her boyfriend, "You done?" She asked and as Jay panted bit.

"Yes." Jay answered calmly.

"Because our problems just got worse," Nya said, before pointing at the Devourer. "Look at the direction it's going." They all turned and finally realized what destination the Devourer was heading for.

"It's heading towards Ninjago City!" Zane called out.

"That's where my parents are." Jay said in worry.

"So is everybody else!" Cole pointed out.

"If it consumes the biggest city in all of Ninjago, there will be no stopping it." Lydie said grimly as they all gave anxious looks as the Devourer slithered toward Ninjago City in the distance.

Meanwhile at the heart of Ninjago City, the people are gathered around as the Royal Blacksmith played their instruments as the crowd chanted.

"Hey, hey! What do we say? We want snakes to slither away! Hey, hey, we say. We want snakes to slither away!" The crowd chanted while Kruncha and Nuckle are among the crowd as they join in on the chance.

In the subway system the station monitor noticed something, "Hey that's odd," He said as he noticed a red dot traveling on one of the routes. "The system is saying there's a train entering the city on Track 9."

"Oh, we don't have any trains entering on Track 9," His partner said, thinking it was a kind of glitch. Meanwhile on the platform, the ponies and other creatures waited for their train but then felt a rumble, which sounded much larger and faster than a train.

"Well, there's something big coming our way!" The station monitor said as, barreling out of the tunnel was the Great Devourer. The creatures screamed in terror as the Devourer growled in hunger. Soon it burst out of the subway and let out a frightening roar causing everyone to run away in fear of the Devourer as it crashed the rally.

And then Jay's parents then went to their vehicle just as it was eying it. Ed tried to start the engine but it wouldn't work, "Oh, boy. Oh gosh. Oh, golly. Oh, darn!" He said as the Devourer got closer to him and Edna.

Just then the Ninja arrived on their vehicles and the repaired tank and saw the Devourer and Jay's Parents. "Mom? Dad?!" Jay called out for them in dread before he leapt out of his jet and onto his parent's car. "Leave my parents alone! LIGHTNING!" He shouted, using his Nun-Chucks to shoot lightning at the Devourer, forcing it back.

The Great Devourer then began to slither around the park as everyone ran for their lives. Kai flipped over some chariots before standing in front of the Devourer's path.

"Fire!" Kai called out his element as he shot a stream of flames at the Great Devourer.

From behind, a news reporter man and camera-mam were recording the battle via magical projection in their news cart. "Are you getting this?" the reporter asked the camera-guy.

"Roll camera!" HE answered as he caught the Devourer raising its tail, only for it to be obscured by something. The two looked and saw it was Cole lifting their news cart.

"Mind if I borrow this?" Cole asked before he threw the van at the Devourer.

"Go Ninja, Go!" The reporter cheered before the Devourer raised it's tail at them.

"Ice!" Zane declared as he froze the Devourer's tail.

"My turn," Lydie said as she built dark energy in her hands, but something about felt different. "Darkness!" She yelled aiming her hands the Devourer, but what hit it were purple flames, "Whoa! What was that?!" Lydie gasped.

Kai looked at Lydie in shock, "Lydie, that was, fire." He breathed out.

"You can shoot fire, Lydie?! Are you holding out on us!?" Jay asked in shock.

Lydie looked at her hands as she was confused. "Uh, I… didn't know I could do that." She admitted slowly, since she first got her powers, she never shoot fire from her element before. "Wait a minute, let me try again." She said as she twirled around. "Darkness!" She called out, which had purple electrical lightning surrounded her as she shot at the Devourer again, which made her even more shock. "What?!" She questioned as she looked at her hands again.

The boys gasped, "Now Lightning?!" Cole exclaimed in shock.

"Lydie, you are the Granddaughter of the First Spinjitzu Master, who could wield the elements of creations." Zane said with a small smile under his mask. "That's explain why you were part of the prophecy, your darkness can harness all of the elemental powers." He revealed.

"Whoa." Lydie said in breathed shock. "But looks like they are base of my darkness element, but still, wow, since my element is the opposite, I think Lloyd might have that too." She said with an eager smile, excited to test out her new abilities and having a thought that Lloyd might have the same powers.

The Devourer roared again as she glared at the Ninja, which turned their attention to it.

"Uh, I think we only made her mad." Jay said nervously as the Devourer charge at them again.

Elsewhere in a tea shop, Garmadon stepped through the doorway and went up to the counter while the owner had her back turned to him. "Traveler's Tea," He requested.

"Only a fool requests Traveler's Tea," the old woman told Garmadon before she turned to look at him. When she saw it was him, she had a nervous grin on her face and corrected herself. "But you are not a fool. Uh, let me go get some in the back." She then went to fetch some for him.

"And I am here live, caught in the middle of an epic Ninja versus snake battle!"

Garmadon turned to the TV and saw something that made his blood freeze. It was the very snake that bit his hoof that fateful day, now a hundred times bigger and fighting against his enemies.

"People, I have never seen bravery like this before. But I fear the Ninja are no match for a beast this size. People are recommended to flee or run away, waving their arms wildly while screaming like little children," the reporter said as the battle went on.

Garmadon growled, knowing the Ninja had the key to destroying the Devourer but did not have the power to use it like he-

His train of thought was stopped as a realization came to him, "Wait, hmm…" he pondered to himself as a devious smirk came to him. "What a golden opportunity."

The old woman came back with Traveler's Tea and Garmadon took it. "Thank you, and I hope to see you again," He said before walking out the door, quietly laughing to himself, as he now had a chance to take his revenge on the Devourer AND accomplish his goal.

Back in Ninjago City, the Ninja were getting up from the ground from an attack that The Great Devourer used on them as it continued its rampage. They were then all knocked back again when it slammed its head on the ground. But before the Devourer could chomp down on them again, Nya flew in, grabbing a lamp pole and wedging it between its jaws.

"Samurai X to the rescue! Again!" Jay said as the Devourer struggled to shake them out of its mouth.

Lloyd, riding with Nya in the suit, smelled the Devourer's breath and gagged, "Ugh, her breath smells worse than Cole's chili!" He commented.

Landrush raised a brow at the insult. "HEY!" he called out.

The Great Devourer then slammed its head against the building causing the Samurai X suit to malfunction and worst the pole was starting to bend.

"Sis, Lloyd, get out there!" Kai told them.

Nya, now regretting her choice, tried to pull the mech away but could not. "I can't! The controls are frozen! We're stuck!" She said as the Devourer was close to closing its jaws on them as the two panicked.

But then just as the others rushed to help them, something big and white struck the Devourer from behind.

And then the Ninja looked up and saw a familiar dragon, it is Umbra as she gave a challenging roar.

"Umbra! You came back, girl!" Lydie cheered at her dragon.

And the Umbra roared at a direction, and then a few more roars can be heard as the Ninja turned to Umbra's direction as they saw a large white Dragon, with silver and gold spikes on its body and four legs. But was the most shocking was that the Dragon had four heads marked with different colored elemental symbols. Four heads… that were very familiar.

"Rocky?!" Cole called out first.

"Flame?!" Kai asked next.

"Wisps!?" Jay exclaimed.

"Shard!?" Zane finished.

"Our dragons are back!" Cole rejoiced with a bright smile as the dragons followed Umbra as they circled around.

"It appears dragons go through a metamorphosis when they reach adulthood," Zane theorized. "They too have found their true potential."

"Umbra must've flew off to get the dragons to help us stop the Devourer! That's why she left!" Lydie said with a wide smile.

"Well they couldn't come at a better time!" Cole cheered. "Go get them, Rocky! Go!"

They circled back around and let out an ice breath right towards the neck of the Devourer. "Ice!" Zane called out.

Next, Ultra Dragon flew high before unleashing a powerful fireball at the Devourer. "Fire!" Kai declared.

Soon, Ultra Dragon made a sharp turn and shot bolts of Lightning at the giant snake. "Lightning!" Jay called out.

Ultra Dragon curled into a ball and delivered a heavy attack to the Devourer's head, making it dizzy. "Earth!" Cole shouted.

And finally, Umbra circled around as she fired her darkness blasts at the Devourer, causing it to groan in disoriented. "Darkness!" Lydie called out.

In its daze the Devourer crashed its head into a building causing it to drop Nya and Lloyd. Ultra Dragon then caught them before they hit the ground. After they set them down, the Devourer began to climb its way up a building just as Ultra Dragon was flying by. Umbra and the Ultra Dragon continued unleashed a barrage of elemental attacks on the giant snakes.

"Haha! Could dragons get any cooler?! Seriously!" Cole asked as the Dragon Duo forced the Devourer into retreat.

"Yes! it's running away!" Kai said as Ultra Dragon and Umbra flew away.

Ultra Dragon and Umbra came in for a landing but then... the Devourer's tail burst out of the ground and smacked the dragons upwards.

"No!" They all shouted before the Devourer used its tail to whacked Ultra Dragon and Umbra hard to the ground.

"No!" Lydie shouted when Umbra crashed and Ultra landed next to her and the Ninja over to see if they were okay.

"What now?!" Nya asked as they were out of option as the Devourer continue to terrorize Ninjago City as Lydie and Lloyd sensed a familiar presence behind them as the two siblings turned and saw their father.

"Dad?!" Lydie asked in shock and surprise as the others turned to him and saw him as well.

"You came back!" Lloyd cheered.

"Give me the Weapons," Garmadon told them. "I'm the only one who can handle their power of all four Weapons at once. It's the only thing that'll defeat the Devourer." He declared.

The Ninja looked unsure about this, "Uh, I thought we were supposed do everything in our power, not to let him possess the weapons?" Jay reminded as Garmadon gave then a 'really' look that they were discussing this now.

"I have run every other scenario through my servers," Zane said, looking through his systems before looking to his team, "It appears to be the only way."

Cole looked at Lydie, "It's your call Captain." He said.

Lydie bit her lip in confliction and it worsened as she heard the Devourer rampaging even more.

"Give me the weapons," Garmadon repeated as Lydie clenched her fists and closed her eyes.

"Lydie?" Kai asked on concern.

"Only I can destroy it. Or prepare to watch-" Garmadon started before Lydie made up her mind.

"Okay, dad! Stop yammering and just do it!" Lydie called out in annoyance as she turned to the boys. "He's right. Only the Golden Weapons together are the only way to stop that snake, and last I check, only dad has that kind of power." She explained as she turned to her father. "And I figure you wanted revenge on the very snake that made you evil, huh, pops?" She asked with a smirk.

Garmadon frowned at that, "please don't call me that." He said simply.

"Well, if you're sure, then I'm game." Kai said as he tossed his Sword to Garmadon, who caught it. "When you have a chance to make the blow, it has a weak spot near her forehead." The others soon gave their weapons to Garmadon.

"Uh, I don't think this needs to be said, but we're gonna need those back." Jay told Garmadon.

Garmadon let a small chuckle, "At last." He said silently, finally he had the four weapons in his hands but he had more important tasks at hand. "I'll do my part, you just make sure she stays in one spot." He added as he gave a chuckle again, not only having the Golden Weapons in his hands, but also getting revenge on the very snake that turn him into what he is now as a bonus as he ran off to get into position.

Jay heard what Garmadon said and turn to his team in panic. "Stay in one spot!? 'Stays in one spot'?!" He repeatedly asked. "How are we supposed to do that?!" Before they saw the Devourer consume more before it shed its scales and group bigger.

"Don't forget: we're Ninja," Kai reminded as the Devourer saw him "Come on you overgrown worm. Take the bait! Come and get me!" He shouted as he ran away and the Devourer chased him through the streets.

He ran through city, parking lots, roof tops until he reached Cole's position. "Nice run. Now I'll take it from here," Cole said as they hoof-bumped and he baited the Devourer this time. "Whoo-hoo!" he whooped as he ran into and alley.

The Devourer looked around and saw Jay.

"Looking for me?" Jay asked as the snake narrowed its eyes at him. It lunged but he dodged the attacks, then he used his powers to fly up the building as it tried to follow. Jay made his way over to a construction site with the giant serpent on his tail. He soon leaped in the unfinished building just when the Devourer was about to bite down on him. He then used his elemental power to escape the bite and fly up the building where Zane is waiting at the top.

"What took you so long?" Zane asked as Jay landed.

"Save the humor, Zane," Jay said they started running. "Now's not the time."

"Instead of a fire escape, how about an ice escape?!" Zane quipped as they slid down an ice slide Frost made as the Devourer still chased them.

"Haha, nice one, Zane," Jay laughed before he yelped after almost sliding off only for Zaneto catch him. The two continue to ice surf away from the Great Devourer and Zane created more when the Devourer destroyed part of the slide.

But then they ran out of ice and fly off as the Devourer opens its mouth wide. "No, no!" Thunder screamed as the Devourer prepared to eat them.

…Then at the last second, "Now!" Lydie's voice called out as she was on Umbra as she caught Zane and Jay as Ultra manage to enough strength to fly with the rest of the Ninja as they flew away from the Devourer.

"You think it's working?" Jay asked.

"We're about to find out," Lydie said as they looked down from where the Devourer started chasing them to the end. They followed its long body through the buildings, down the alleys, through the garden, into the Construction area, and over the roof tops and soon saw the Devourer was hooked by its own tail and couldn't break free.

The Ninja cheered and landed with the Lloyd and Nya on the roof, who were waiting for them as they looked down and saw the Devourer's weak spot on expose on it's head as she tried to break free.

"Now, where's father?" Lydie asked as she looked down at the Devourer in concern, "I'm not sure how long she gonna stay hooked."

Lloyd look up. "Hey look!" They turned upwards as the skies turned dark and cloudy, where somepony was standing on top of the building over the Devourer's head.

"Dad!" Both Lloyd and Lydie called out as Garmadon glared down at the very snake that ruined his life as it looked at him, recognizing him as the same colt she bit all those years ago.

"You are the reason evil runs through my blood and my family has been torn!" Garmadon spoke to the Devourer as dark energy surge through his him and into the Golden Weapons. The clouds above him then started to swirl as he prepared to strike before a thunderbolt struck down an energy surge went everywhere. "You bit me once! Now feel what it's like to be bitten back!" Garmadon then leaped off the building and straight down towards the Devourer's weak spot.

"Go get her, Dad," Lloyd and Lydie whispered as they saw their father fall and Lydie held Lloyd's shoulders.

Garmadon picked up speed as dove straight down the Serpent. "Vengeance will be mine!" He declared. Everyone watched in awe as the Weapons glowed brighter as Garmadon neared the head.

But while everyone was distracted by Garmadon, no one saw the grin on the Devourer's face…or the silent, male chuckle thar followed, "Fools." It spoke it first and last word.

Then in a blink of an eye, Garmadon stuck the Devourer's weak spot, as its eyes turned green and roared one last time before exploding into a tsunami of green slime that flooded the streets and scattered all over the city. Everyone in the city got covered in the green slime before they all cheered with excitement over the Devourer being gone for good.

"He did it," Jay said.

"No, we did it!" Cole corrected him as everyone in the city celebrated.

Down below in the tombs, the Serpentine heard creatures' voices of joy. "Issss that cheering?" Skalidor asked his fellow Generals.

"The Great Devourer mussst've been dessstroyed." Fangdom guessed.

"Ssso Pythor'sss plan failed," the Venomari General said, not feeling bad at the loss of their mad leader.

Skales was in silent thought, realizing that with Pythor gone, there was now a void in the place of leadership for the Serpentine. "Sssomeone has to lead now," He said, seeing that they need a new leader.

Bermesia had just arrived, and heard the cheering above, realizing the Devourer was gone. "Go, Ninja. Go." She whispered as she turned to her kind, knowing that she would have to stand up in Pythor's place now that he is gone.

At the thought of her uncle, she bowed her head sadly and pulled out the Anacondrai staff she managed to recover from the Serpentine Express, even though her uncle was greatly misguided, she still loved him. "...Goodbye uncle." She said solemnly, holding the staff close.

Back at Ninjago city, everyone cheered to the Ninja as they have saved the day.

"Ooh, our little Ninja." Edna said as she and her husband hugged their son.

The Royal Blacksmiths came over as Lou approached Cole, "My son, the Hero of Ninjago City." He said as the two hugged.

Kai then rushed to Ultra as he and Umbra landed behind them. "Heh, there you are, you big lug. It's good to have you back." He said as he petted Flame's head.

Lloyd and Lydie then looked around and realized something. "I don't see our dad," Lloyd told the others.

"He should be around here somewhere," Kai said as Zane was using his robotic eye to scan for any signs of Garmadon around.

"Your analysis is incorrect," Zane told him. "He is not here."

"Then our Golden Weapons are gone too." Cole complained. "Well, isn't that convenient."

Nya then looked down and saw a trail of footstep walking away, "Look, his footprints!" She pointed out.

"Alright! Let's follow them, catch up to dad and get those weapons!" Lydie declared and was about to jump down but Kai stopped him.

"Lydie, wait!" Kai called out. "There's no way he's still in the city. You know that Garmadon was planning this stunt when you told us to give him the Weapons, he's long gone by now." He said in defeat.

Lydie knew that Kai was right. But admitting the ugly truth didn't make it any better.

The Purple Ninja clenched her fists as she shut her eyes tightly, "AAARRRAAAHHH!" She roared out to the havens as her scream echoed through out the city as the others flinch, knowing that Garmadon went back on his word to return their Weapons to them and finally got them.

Lloyd looked at his sister in worry and held her hand as she sighed in defeat. "Looks like he finally got his wish." Lydie said calmly, holding Lloyd's back. "He got the Golden Weapons and now has everything he needs to recreate Ninjago."

"And I have a feeling you two will be seeing your father again soon." Kai said to the two siblings in sympathy.

"We know, and that's what worried us." Lloyd said, since he knows that he and Lydie need to fight their father one day.

Nya held they're shoulders, "What's important now is that the Great Devourer is gone, and we managed to save everyone." She said with a reassuring smile.

"Not everyone." Lydie said somberly as the all bowed their heads, still mourning the loss of…

Suddenly, Cole smiled as he saw someone below them. "Sensei Wu!" He exclaimed in joy.

The others looked down and saw Wu in the pile of the Devourer's goo as he stood up and wipe some off as the Ninja cheered in joy at seeing him.

"Uncle Wu!" Both Lloyd and Lydie exclaimed as they and their friends jumped down and ran to Wu.

"Wow!" Nya gasped happily.

"Hey would you look at that! They survived!" Jay said in big relief.

Wu saw them and held out his arms with a smile. Lloyd and Lydie jumped into their uncle's arms and hugged him.

"Uncle Wu! Your alive!" Lloyd cheered as he nuzzled Wu's chest.

"Don't you ever go getting eaten by giant snakes ever again!" Lydie cheered as she hugged Wu too.

Wu then put his Nephew down and broke the hug from his Niece and waded through the slime, "I can't tell you how glad I am to see you!" He said, pulling out his teapot. "The Great Devourer left a very bad taste in my mouth." He then poured himself some tea in a cup. He drank and smiled from the taste. "Ahh, much better. And still hot!" He commented with a chuckle.

Lydie laughed back, only Wu could think about tea after getting eaten by snake, with a snake. Then she remembered, "Wait, where's Pythor? Wasn't he eaten with you?" She asked as they all looked around for the Anacondrai.

"Last I saw him, he fell deeper into the bowels of the Devourer. I fear he did not survive what came next." Wu said as the others shivered at the thought.

"That's not a nice way to go out." Kai commented.

"Well, at least it's great to have you back, Uncle." Lloyd said with a smile before he frowned. "But our father left, and he took the Golden Weapons!" He informed in great worry as Lydie nodded.

"Ah, very true." Wu said as he placed a hand on Lloyd's shoulder. "The ability of the Weapons is truly great, but the ability to better oneself makes you limitless."

"I couldn't have said it any better myself." Jay said with a smile.

"He's right, Lloyd. The weapons maybe gone, but we're still here." Lydie said as she kneeled down place a hand on her brother's shoulder. "Besides, we have e what is most important: each other." She added with a smile.

Wu smiled at them. "The pupils have become the masters." He announced proudly.

"Are we really gonna have to fight our father one day?" Lloyd asked his uncle, still not okay of fighting their own dad as Lydie looked down, knowing that they have to.

"One day." Wu answered. "But today we can feel good that Ninjago is saved, for tomorrow you will train for the day. Good will finally face evil and a final outcome will be decided for all of time." He declared as the others smiled as they feel inspired by their words.

"But don't worry, Lloyd. We're gonna teach you everything we know." Kai assured to Lloyd.

"And make sure you're prepare for the fight." Jay added.

"And we'll be there to fight alongside you and watch your back." Nya continued with a smile.

"Because as we all know, good will always stand up to evil." Cole stated with a smile.

"And Ninja always stand for what is right." Zane continued with a nod.

"Because Ninja never quit." Lydie finished lifting her brother up.

Wu smiled at them as the Ninja then stood side by side. "Go, Ninja, Go!" They cheered as they jumped as a new era begins to prepare for the Final Battle.

Somewhere down below in the sewers, a blob of slime rested on the side. And then a white and purple hand burst out of it as a familiar Serpentine wheezed and gasped for air and crawling out of the slime. "What? What happened?" Pythor asked, his voice low and raspy, he then looked down at the water below him and he was horrified to see that his purple and black scaly exterior had turned white and purple.

"No. No! NNNOOO!" Pythor roared with anger. He then scowled with hatred, knowing who was responsible for this. "You will pay for this, Ninja, I promise you… will.. pay..." With that, Pythor slithered off into the darkness, vowing revenge upon all who wronged him.

Sometime after, the Ninja split and helping the people clean up and repair Ninjago City from the Devourer's attack as Lydie and Lloyd are at a collapse building.

"Wow, the Devourer really cause a lot of damage." Lloyd commented after seeing the state of what used to be the building.

"It was huge, Lloyd. So not surprising." Lydie noted. "Come on, let's check and see if anyone needs help." She said as she and her brother walked further to see if anyone needs help.

Lloyd then turned his head and saw an ambulance truck where two medics are treating a girl with two ponytails, who is covered in soot as she seemed to be shellshock.

"Hmm, so much for the Ninja." The girl medic commented.

"Oh, did you see that thing? Lord Garmadon single handedly destroyed it." The man medic said in surprise. "He's the real hero." He added.

Lydie frowned at that and approached the medics. "Excuse me, but he happened to be our father." She told the medics, "And it was him who saved the city but he couldn't have done if we didn't give him the Golden Weapons which he ran off and is planning to destroy us all with!" She pointed out.

The two medics turned to Lydie in surprise as Lloyd walked up to her. "Oh, uh, sorry. I, we didn't know. We were trying to flea from that snake." The man medic commented as a picture flew by as it landed on the girl medic's legs.

"Forget it. We're here to fix things up since our father isn't here to help." Lydie said in annoyance.

"What happened, here?" Lloyd asked. "This whole building looked like it just collapse." He pointed out before noticing the girl in the ambulance van. "And what happened with her?" He asked, noticing the girl's expression.

"Well, as you notice, the Devourer literally torn this place to the ground." The girl medic said as she picked up the picture. "And we found this little girl among the rumble with a few others in the elevator before it collapse and I think this might answer why." She said grimly, holding up the photo, "We didn't see this couple with the people who escaped."

Lloyd took the picture as he and Lydie looked at it to see the same girl piggybacking on her father with her mother beside them while walking down a path in a forest, looking really happy together as the two Garmadon Siblings turned to her.

"Oh no." Lydie said in dread as she and Lloyd gave the girl sympathetic expressions.

Lydie then sat beside the girl and pulled her into a hug, having experience with children in this state of mind who arrived at the orphanage as the girl didn't react as her expression didn't change.

Lloyd then approached her and held her hand, "I should be saying sorry, I'm the one who unleashed the creeps that released the Devourer." He said in guilt.

The girl kept being quiet as she slowly look at Lloyd after he held her hand. "Hey, it's okay. We're not just Ninja, we're people. We make mistakes like all people, and some of those mistakes can never be undone," Lydie told the girl, "But holding onto the past, on to hurt, anger and hate, is like trying to hold a hot rock, only you get burned." She said in slight wisdom.

"We may not be able to save your parents, but the least you could do is remember them, and know that they will always be with you." Lloyd added with a small smile.

The girl looked at them for a moment as she looked down a bit before she finally spoke. "I will remember my parents. But I wish they were actually here." She said quietly as they all look at her in sympathy.

Lydie place a comforting hand on the girl's shoulder. "But know that you are here and they are proud that you are still alive to live a life." She said as she pulled her into a hug. "So, what's your name, little lady?" She asked with a small smile.

"H-Harumi?" Harumi answered as she started making some hiccuping weeps.

"Hey, hey, it's okay, Harumi. You're in good hands now." Lydie assured as she broke the hug and gave her a comforting smile. "I'm Lydie Garmadon, known as the Purple Ninja. And this little terror over here is my little brother, Lloyd Garmadon, he is the Green Ninja." She introduce as Lloyd gave a sheepish wave at Harmui.

"H-Hi." Lloyd said sheepishly.

"H-Hi." Harmui repeated with a small wave.

"We're sorry for what happened to your parents, Harmui. But you shouldn't shut yourself from the world or keep yourself quiet." Lydie stated with a small smile. "There are people out there who can help you, like us."

Harumi looked at her tearfully yet hopefully, "R-Really?" She asked whimperley.

"Yes. Trust me, I was there before." Lloyd said to her with a small smile. "I was a brat before I met the Ninja and became something better. I wanted to my path to be my dad's but even he told me to not be like him, and my sister helped me realize who I should be." He stated.

"And you can do the same. Make your parents proud by finding your own path, a better path where you can truly make a difference." Lydie said, still holding her smile.

Harumi looked at the two Ninja before looking at the picture of her and her parents as she took a long look as she looked back at the two before she gave a small tearful smile. "I guess, I guess my parents would want me to carry on. And you Ninja are my heroes. So… I'll stay strong and honor my parents memories." She said as she held Lydie's hand and turned to Lloyd, "Thank you, for, making me feel better."

"What are friends for?" Lloyd asked with a smile.

Harumi looked at him in surprise, "We're, we're friends?" She asked.

"Yes, we're friends." Lydie confirmed with a smile. "Hey, we can help you. I know some ladies that are considering setting up a new orphanage here in the city, they can help you find a family that cares for you." She suggested. "And we can stay in chat and you can come and hang out with us."

"Th-thank you." Harumi said as she hugged Lydie.

The two medics smiled at Lydie, "Wow, she's good with kids." The girl medic said in impress.

"I used to work in the orphanage and took care of my little brother, I'm a pro at this." Lydie said with a smile as Harumi broke the hug and look at Lloyd as she got off the van and walked up to him.

"So, you're the new ninja?" Harumi asked in wonder.

"W-Well, I am new. I haven't start training yet, but I am gonna start soon after the cleanup." Lloyd said as he rubbed his head sheepishly.

"And don't worry, we'll be here for you when you need us." Lydie promised as the three of shared a group hug as the medics smiled at the three.

"I guess it's both the Ninja and Lord Garmadon who saved the day after all." The man medic commented with a smile.

"That I can agree on." The girl medic said with a smile as they watch the three kept sharing the group hug as Harumi may have lost her parents, but she gain new friends who can help her through.
