Sensei Wu was sleeping in his quarters as a ceiling fan was spinning around overhead. The sounds of a clock ticking were heard, as far into the island, the Celestial Clock was counting down the seconds until the Final Battle. Sensei Wu woke up with a gasp at that sound.

Out in the jungle, two Stone Warrior scouts on a large warrior bike, were patrolling the area. One of the Scouts muttered as he looking through a spyglass. Little did they know that both Kai and Nya were laying low to the ground watching them before they left.

Once the coast was clear, they both got up and ran over to a hill of sand and trees, which was really the Destiny's Bounty camouflaged into the island while the others were doing their best to hide it.

"This whole island is swarming with Garmadon's indestructible Stone Army," Kai whispered to the others.

"We can't even go for supplies without running into at least two." Nya added as she kept her guard up.

"Ha! Good thing we're Ninja and we know how to hide," Jay bragged as he placed down a coconut tree leaf.

"Who wants to run when you can fight!" Cole retorted as he threw down his shovel. "I'm getting tired of hiding with our heads buried in sand, I wanna fight these guys!" He said, holding up his fists.

"But Cole, they have no apparent weakness," Zane reminded. "It would be unwise for us to start a fight we cannot finish."

Wu then stepped outside. "That is why we must find the Temple of Light." he told them.

They all soon gathered in the bridge where Misako unraveled a scroll and spoke up. "The Scrolls says there is a hidden temple on the island," she told them. "If you find it, it'll give the boys pure elemental powers," she explained, gesturing to the scroll. "Powers that can defeat the indestructible Stone Army."

"So you're saying we get to fight? Whoo-hoo! I got happy feet!" Cole cheered.

Misako then turned to Lloyd and Lydie. "And you, my children, it is written here: 'For once the Ninjas Yin and Yang finds the Instrument of Peace, they will strike it and know the powers of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Masters.'"

"'Ultimate Spinjitzu Masters'?" Lydie asked in interest.

"What's that?" Lloyd asked curiously.

"It means you two will be able to invoke the power of the Golden Dragon and Obsidian Dragon, ancient fightings style only practiced by the first Spinjitzu Master, the Ninja of Yang holds the Golden Dragon and the Ninja of Yins is bestowed the Obsidian Dragon," Misako explained as the others looked like they were just getting the shorter ends of the stick.

"Wait. So, we get powers to beat the stone warriors, but he gets a major power boost?" Cole asked as the Garmadon siblings let out a laugh.

"Jealous?" Lloyd taunted.

"No!" They quickly denied.

"Right." Lydie said slowly with a smirk.

"Wait a minute. This all sounds too good to be true." Kai said, "What's the catch?"

"The catch is that the Temple could be anywhere on the island,"Wu explained as he pulled out a golden medal with three holes in it, "and the only thing we have to find it is this."

"What is it?" Harumi asked before Dr. Julien took it to examine it for a moment.

"A medallion," Julienanswered. "It's like a compass. When the three holes match up, the medallion will reveal where the temple is hidden."

Everyone in the room looked at him with an impressed look. "Uh, how'd you know that?" Jay asked.

"When you're trapped on a lighthouse prison for a long time, you do some reading in your spare time," Dr. Julien told him. "Adventure stories were my favorite." He said as he gave the medallion to Zane.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Zane asked the others. The Ninja got up to search for the Temple of Light, before Sensei Wu stopped Lloyd and Lydie.

"Not you, two." Wu told them, which made Lloyd and Lydie give an irritated look.

"Oh, seriously? Are we still doing this?" Lloyd asked.

"You're benching me now?" Lydie asked in surprise.

"Wu is right," Misako spoke as she walked forward. "If you either of you were to come across your father, it could prematurely start the Final Battle," she explained gently. "And as you know, that is what we're trying to avoid. We need to be at full strength before we take any risks," She added.

The others smirked, knowing Lloyd and Lydie were once again benched. "Hahaha. Jealous?" Jay mocked.

"No!" Lloyd pouted.

Lydie glared at them as she use her powers to summon a dark electricity, which moves around before it zapped the boy's butts as they startled and yelped in pain from the shock they receive.

"Hey!" Cole said as he rubbed his butt.

"Not cool, Captain." Kai frowned as the others chuckled

"You guys were asking for it." Lydie commented. "And even before I got my powers, I could kick your butts with my eyes closed. That was just a slight mercy for you." She stated with her arms crossed.

Misako raised a brow before she smirked and then swept Lydie's legs, "Whoa!" Lydie yelped before she pinned down at the table with an arm behind her, "Ow! What the-?!" She looked behind her and saw it was her mother pinning her.

"Hm-hm. Trust me dear, your skills run in the family." Misako said as she let go of Lydie as she looked at her mother in surprise. "And know that overconfidence is a dangerous factor in battle."

The boys were surprise by this as Cole spoke. "So that's where Lydie gets it." He commented as the others nodded.

Lydie look at her mother in shock. "Okay. That caught me by surprise. Nice moves, mom." She complemented as she rubbed her arm. "Did you do this to father and uncle Wu back in the day?" She asked.

Misako glanced at Wu with a teasing smile as he huffed and looked away, "On more than one occasion." She said with giggle, "Perhaps while your here, I can tell you some stories."

"That would be great, for both of us." Lyide said as Lloyd nodded.

"Well, I could use some help around the camp," Dr. Julien said. "We should get working on vehicles that might help give us a fighting chance."

"So, while we do that, you boy find that there temple," Harumi told the Ninja.

"But remember, Garmaodn doesn't know we're on the island. It's imperative that you stay out of sight," Wu told them.

"Of course, Sensei. Don't worry. Have you ever known us to veer from a plan, huh?" Jay asked as everyone looks at them unamused. "Uh, on second thought, don't answer that."

"NINJA-" The Ninja started, a little loudly, before Wu shushed them.

"Not so loud! Are you trying to let the whole island know we're here?!" Wu whispered harshly.

The Ninja realized their mistake and whispered, "...go." The four of them soon went their way into the jungle in search of the Temple of Light.

"We're doomed." Lydie sigh, knowing that the boys will screw up.

Meanwhile at Garmadon's camp, things were busy as the Samurai and the Darklings were hard at work. In Garmadon's tent, he sat on a throne as Sombra, a four-armed Stone Warrior in red armor (Kozu), a female Samurai with no mask covering her face (Narmaka), and another Stone Warrior stood before him. The Stone Warrior was carrying a tray filled with Dark Matter before he spoke in their native tongue. "What did he say, General Kozu?" Garmadon asked the four-armed warrior.

"The mining, they've dug to new depths and have struck Dark Matter," General Kozu told them as the Narmaka stepped up to them and showed them. This Dark Matter looked more darker than what was initially dug from the pit.

"Amazing," Garmadon said in an impressed tone. "I can practically smell the darkness coming off it. The most powerful Dark Matter." He said in wonder.

"Unfortunately, he also says they lost many Warriors down the Mouth of Eternal Shadows just to obtain this one piece," Narmaka told him.

"Then you both tell him I'll throw him down myself, because I need a thousand more just like this one to make the Ultimate Weapon," Garmadon told the three stone warriors before they gave him a bow to him.

"We'll see to it personally," Kozu answered as they walked out of the room.

The Overlord then floated in. "They respect you. This is good," he said pleasantly before pausing as if to sense something wrong, "But I feel a shift in the balance."

"Huh? Should I have shaken my first more?" Garmadon asked in confusion. "Maybe dramatically throw over a table, or kicked over a-?" He didn't speak as the Overlord spoke.

"NO! You Myopic Mortal!" The Overlord shouted at him to stop his rambling. "The Ninja. I cannot see them, but I sense your daughter's presence in the very soil." He informed.

"Here?! On the island?!" Garmadon asked in shock before he got serious. "I will alert all the warriors back. If they are here, we'll find them."

"Then see to it that you do." The Overlord said as he took off.

A bit later, Garmadon rounded as many of the stone warriors he could as they stand in position. "They would be fools to set foot anywhere near my camp." He boasted with a smirk.

Little did he know, they literally were a foot near his camp as they watched on from behind the walls and on a big boulder.

"Look, this must be Garmadon's camp." Jay said to his friends.

"No, you think?" Kai retort dully. "I thought it was a take out restaurant." He added sarcastically before he notice some construction close by. "Looks like he's building something, but building what?" He wondered.

"Quiet, you bozos." Cole said to them. "We still need to find what the medallion matches up to." He reminded them as he held up the medallion.

"Let me see." Zane said as he looked around. "Nothing match-Wait!" He stopped upon noticing something.

"You found the Temple?!" Jay asked taking the medallion.

"No, but look!" Zane pointed to the armory where they saw a familiar friend.

"Your Falcon." Kai asked in surprise as they saw the now shut down falcon in a workshop on a table. "I thought it got shot down and was lost for good." He added before Zane stood up.

"Not if I retrieve it and get the pieces back to my father," Zane told them before Cole stop them.

"Wait, Zane. You're veering from the plan." Cole pointed out. "We're suppose to find the Temple of Light and staying out of sight." He reminded him.

"If I were any of you, I'd do the same," Zane told them. "I have to get my friend back." He then jumps down from the ledge and over to the armory.

Cole was about to follow before Kai stopped him. "The more of us that go, the more chance we'll get caught." Kai told them. "We just have to stay here and hope he doesn't get seen." He added as they stayed hidden.

"Aww. I wanna fight." Cole whined as they watch Zane sneaking around camp and trying not to be seen by the stone warriors.

Meanwhile, as the Celestial Clock continued to count down to the Final Battle, Dr. Julien and Nya were working on the vehicles they were talking about while Lloyd, Lydie and Harumi help the best they can..

Wu then came by with some more supplies. "Thank you, Wu. If you could fetch some more creek water, that should pretty much do it," Dr. Julien said as Wu left with some buckets.

The Garmadon siblings noticed their mother giving Sensei Wu a smile before he left with a couple of buckets as he smiled back. 'Are you thinking,' Lloyd asked his sister mentally.

'Yeah, I think we both are.' Lydie answered as they jumped off the rig and walked over to Misako.

"So how did you meet him?" Lloyd asked their mother.

"Who, Sensei Wu?" Misako asked.

"No, our father," Lydie corrected as she and Lloyd looked down.

Misako looked at them solemnly, knowing they wanted to know what kind of man Garmadon was before he was the Dark Lord he is today as she held her children. "You know he wasn't always like this. It took years for his poisoned heart to turn him evil," she expressed before a smile appeared on her face as she looked at Lydie. "There was a night when I loved him very much. And he was very happy."

Lydie raised a brow. "What night?" She asked.

"The night you were born," Misako answered warmly as she hugged Lydie and then she pulled Lloyd in closer too, "And our lives became even happier, when we had you." She told her son as the three of them hugged.

Lydie and Lloyd frowned. "And now it all comes down to us fighting him," Lloyd said as they looked saddened.

Lydie then looked back at his mom and smiled, "So, how did you meet dad?" She asked, still wanting to know.

Misako gave a giggle as she recalled the day she met Wu and Garmadon. "Well, it was during the time of the Serpentine Wars, when the Serpentine invaded the village where I once lived."

(Flashback)

In a village, people were running in every direction in fear as Serpentine warriors chased them.

One of those villagers, young Misako had gotten separated from her family and looked around fearfully before she turned to Venomari solider that saw her.

"During the attack, I was separated from my parents and had been cornered by a Venomari." Misako narrated as her younger self then started to try and run away from the snake but she was trapped between him and wooded wall she couldn't climb. She had her back up against the wall as the Venomari advanced towards her.

"S-Stay back!" Young Misako threatened as green snake just chuckled and drew his sword and the young woman closed her eyes in fear.

"I thought he had me for sure, until…" Misako continued as her younger self then her grunts and sounds of fighting before she opened her eyes and saw standing over the unconscious Venomari was a young auburn man dressed in black and purple, with his back to her and holding a staff, on the back of his kimono was the image of a red dragon.

"Are you alright?" The auburn man asked Young Misako in concern still keeping his back to her.

Young Misako was surprise to see this man as she nodded her head. "Uh-huh. Thank you sir." She thanked as she walked close to him cautiously.

"We should get going. The Serpentine are on the move and a battalion of them are heading this way." The auburn man said as he turned to her and Misako was surprised to see his eyes were blood red.

"W-What's wrong with your…" Young Misako trailed off as she tried to find a polite word to say.

"My eyes are red?" The auburn man guessed as he closed his eyes and opened the again as his eyes changed to brown. "I apologize, my eyes are a small side effect of my elemental powers."

"Elemental, power?" Young Misako asked as she tilted her head. "Your an Elemental Master?"

"Yes. I know, it's hard to explain," The man said as he offered his hand, "Come with me, and my brother and I can tell all you need to know about the Elemental Masters."

Young Misako looked at his hand for a moment before she smiled and took it in her own, "Thank you, but…who are you."

"I am Garmadon, first born son of the First Spinjitzu Master." Garmadon introduced as he lead Misako to safety.

"After that, Your father, uncle and I became fast friends, they told me many things about the elements, your Grandfather and even taught me Spinjitzu," Misako continued as then next scene showed her and the Spinjitzu brothers, talking, laughing and sparring, one spar even ended with Misako pinning Garmadon like she Lydie. "Before long, I began to see that Wu and Garmadon began to view as more than a friend and I confess, I did as well, only I couldn't decide who I should allow to have my heart. While Wu was kind and understanding to me, there was always something about your father that called to me." She continued as her younger self was talking to Wu but shot a quick glance at Garmadon who was training hard.

"So what did you do?" Lloyd asked.

"I had to make a choice, choose your father or choose Wu." Misako answered as her young self entered her room was conflicted on whose feelings she should return until she saw a letter on her bed, "But my choice was already clear when I got a letter with the most beautiful words I ever read." She said as her young self read the letter as she smiled fondly and held it close as she felt her heart swell in joy.

Young Misako then came outside where the two brothers turned to her in confusion as she closed her eyes with a breath, "Though my heart was at a crossroad with both brothers, it followed the path to one…" Misako said as Young Misako smiled and walked towards to the one who gave her the letter: Garmadon as she gave Garmadon a kiss on the lips as Garmadon was caught off guard by it as he return the kiss.

"You're father." Misako answered with a fond tone in her voice while Wu was surprised by this before he gave his brother a proud smile, seeing that Misako's choice was made.

(End of Flashback)

"But it wasn't the words of your father's letter that made my heart his," Misako said as the two looked at her in confusion, "It was the fact that the letter was written by him."

The Garmadon siblings eyes widened, "Wait, dad took that letter from someone else?" Lydie asked in surprise.

"Who was it?" Lloyd asked next.

Misako looked like she knew the answer but gave a different one, "I have my suspicions, but when I saw how Garmadon loved me so much he thought using another's words would earn my attention, I knew that he was the one." Misako said as she looked at the results of her choice proudly, "And I have never regretted my choice as it had given me many things, most precious of all: you two." She said happily.

Lydie and Lloyd gave a smile at their mother's words and hugged her again, now knowing that their father was truly a good man before his corruption was complete and that he was once like them while protecting Ninjago and their mother.

Meanwhile, Wu was filling up two buckets with creek water just as he was asked to as a butterfly flew by and landed on a rock. He then heard the stone warriors speak in their foreign language and quickly took cover with the buckets. He looked up and saw three Warriors patrolling.

He tried to move away from them but he accidentally stepped on a twig which caught their attention. Realizing he was caught, Wu had to take off as the Warriors trailed him. The Warriors pulled back a catapult before launching buzzsaws right at him.

Wu bobbed and weaved his way through the bamboo trees and the buzzsaws as he got further and further away. The Warrior Bike roared and zoomed over to Wu. The elder however broke off a piece of bamboo and, once the Bike got close enough, flipped the Warrior on it off.

But when he turned to strike the other one, it caught his weapon and threw it away. Wu tried to punch the Warrior but it did nothing and it kicked him flat on his back and into some bamboo. The Warrior spoke in its native tongue as it picked up four bamboos with sharp ends and prepared to launch them at Wu. Wu gasped before flames burned down the bamboos. He turned to see that nearby was Lloyd, who was the one that unleashed those flames, his hand as he fire red.

The Warrior looked at the bamboo in surprised before Lydie's then appeared from another tree as her hands glowed purple as she shot a Purple blast of Earth at the Warrior, trapping him in dirt as a bird landed on top of its helmet and pooped on it. Then the Warrior Wu knocked down, stood back up and charged at him.

"Watch out!" Misako shouted as she dropped down and pinned the Warrior under Bamboo. She and Wu shared a smile, but once she was distracted the Warrior grabbed her foot, only for Lloyd, to fired a blast of electricity at her, zapping her fiercely.

The remaining Warrior was readying more Buzz saws to be thrown at them before Lydie used her ice element to freeze the catapult solid. The Warrior tried to make a run for it before Lydie jumped down and broke off and threw many bamboos shutes at the warrior, trapping him as he couldn't move.

Misako then helped Wu help. "That was close. Our presence on the island cannot be hidden for much longer," Wu said as the others tied up warriors. "I just hope the Ninja have located the Temple. Knowing them, they have probably already found it by now." He said.

Meanwhile, Jay was looking through the medallion while on his back as the others watched Zane in the camp. "I spy, uh…" Jay said as looked through the three holes and looked at one of the trees, "...another tree!"

"Jay, how did you ever become a Ninja? Seriously," Cole complained as Kai let out a groan.

"Would Zane just get his bird already and get out of there? "Kai exasperatedly asked as he saw Kai hiding behind some barrels while some Warriors were inspecting the Falcon.

Jay stood up with the medallion and looked in a direction and saw three lights shining through the three holes matching up.

"Guys, look!" Jay told them as he gave Kai the medallion and pointed towards the mountain.

Kai looked through the holes and saw the lights matching up with them. "It matches up. The must be the Temple of Light." He gasped.

Cole laughed and turned to Jay. "Jay, I take back everything I said. You are a fine Ninja," he said before adding. "Not finer than me, of course, but still-"

Cole's boasting was interrupted when they heard voices and looked down to see Zane managed to get the Falcon but also got spotted.

The Nindroid was slowly being backed up into a corner as Zane held his Falcon close.

"I sense I may have gotten myself into a predicament, my broken friend," Zane said as the warriors closed in on him.

"A Ninjal, here?!" Garmadon growled. "Seize him and make him tell us where the others are."

Kozu and Narmaka then gave an order in an foreign language as the Warriors closed in on Zane.

"That's it! I'm fighting!" Cole declared before Kai got his arm out.

"We can't." Kai said as he shook his head. "They're indestructible. If we go in there, they'll know we're here too." He reminded them.

Cole ignored Kai as he jumped onto a stone pillar as he turned to them. "Yeah, and if we don't, we'll regret it for the rest of our lives. Come on, it's Zane." He reasoned.

The others know he's right, since they would never leave a fellow Ninja or friend behind as they followed Cole into the camp.

The stone warriors were closing in on Zane before a large tank rolled in and knocked them back.

They were surprised to see their friends jumping down from it. "What are you waiting for, a red carpet?!" Cole asked sarcastically, "Move it!"

The four then started running as Garmadon growled. "They're getting away! NO!" He yelled out as he turn to Kozu and Narmaka. "Do something!" He ordered as Kozu ordered the warriors to go after the Ninja as the warriors charge after them.

"Remember when Sensei asked us to stay out of sight?" Kai asked the others as they ran well the stone warrior chase them.

"Yeah, that was good advice!" Cole shouted as their path was blocked by a wall. The Ninja then tried stacking on top of each other before spears were being thrown and blocked them from going over.

"Why didn't we listen to him?!" Jay asked before they ducked when more spears for being thrown at them.

"Why don't we ever listen to him?!" Zane asked as they were cornered.

Kai then looked at their right and pointed. "Look! The gate! That's our way out, hurry!" He said as they rushed for the exit. As they made their way across the rope type bridge, Kai accidentally broke one of the boards on the bridge and saw it fall into a deep hole. Kai then looked behind them and saw the Stone Warriors coming for them.

"Hurry up! We're halfway there!" Cole shouted before he saw more stone warriors coming from the other side. There was nowhere left to go as both sides had them blocked and both sides were closing in on them.

"Ha-ha! Excellent!" Lord Garmadon said as he sat in lounge chairs and got out some popcorn as he watched the Ninja's demise closing in on them. "This is too good."

"We've been in situations like this a hundred times," Kai said to them. "Quick, who's got an idea?"

Jay then spoke up. "Um, we jump into that hole!" He pointed down to a pool of Dark Matter.

"Next idea!" Kai spoke again, seeing the stuff down there reeked of darkness, and he rather not find out what happens if they touch him.

"I say we fight!" Cole purposed with a fist up.

"With what? We don't have powers our yet and the Garma-Twins's aren't with us." Kai reminded Cole as he turned to Zane. "Uh, what about you, Zane? What do your computers say?" He asked the Nindroid.

Zane was looking at the boards as the Stone Army was getting closer to them and he noticed the ropes were not holding for much longer.

"I got us into this mess, I'm going to get us out," Zane said before the bridge finally broke and they fell. "Grab a plank!" He ordered as they all did so.

"NINJA, GO!" They all shout as they used Spinjitzu to ride upwards and then used their planks to sled above the trees.

Garmadon was not happy. "Get them!" He ordered throwing his popcorn away.

The Ninja continued Tree surfing until they ran out of trees, "We're falling!" Kai shouted as they flew off the the trees to the ground.

"Use your hoods as a parachute!" Zane said as the Ninja took off their hoods and use them as parachutes as they glide back to solid ground as Jay cheered.

The group soon ran back to home base where the others noticed they returned. "Hey, they found the Falcon!" Dr. Julien said when he noticed Zane holding it.

"Why are they running?" Harumi asked with a confused look.

"Prepare for battle!" Zane said as they came to a stop, "We've got company!" He warned as he placed the falcon down.

"You were spotted?! By one? Two?" Wu questioned.

"How about… all of them?" Kai answered sheepishly.

Lydie facepalmed herself. "Seriously? You guys can't go anywhere messing up stealth without me." She muttered.

"What matters most is the Temple of Light," Misako reminded them. "Did you find its location?"

"Yeah, it's at the top of the mountain," Kai answered. "I hope those vehicles are ready, because we could sure use them now."

"Guess you're gonna have to figure out this baby out on the fly," Dr. Julien said as he pointed towards a large vehicle with a large drill on the front. The Ninja quickly rushed and hopped into it.

"We've also packed another surprise in the back," Nya told them as she pointed to the red chest-like compartment in the back. "Perhaps it can be of use." She then gave Jay a kiss.

"Another Nya surprise?!" Jay asked excitedly.

"You two will have to go too." Misako said to her two children.

"Be safe." Harumi asked as she held Lloyd's hands.

"We will." Lloyd promised her as Lydie nodded as they hopped into the car as well.

"Whatever you do, do not stop until you get to the Temple of Light," Wu told them. "Our survival depends on it."

"This time, we'll stick to the plan," Kai assured them before the windshield of the cockpit sealed tightly.

"Good luck, Ninja." Wu said to his pupils as Cole then started the engine and they drove off.

Just then, the Stone Warriors came out of the jungle as they saw the Ninja in the driller. "Attack!" Kozu ordered as they chased them down, completely missing the Bounty's hideout.

Cole had a look of determination as he turned the steering wheel and the vehicle went faster as it made a turn. Two of the Warriors Vehicles was able to pass them before blocking their path.

Cole then quickly steered to the right and launched the vehicle into the air before starting up the drill and boring under one of the Warriors vehicles.

"Get them!" Kozu roared as his vehicle stomped the ground as the Warriors went up to the hole.

Elsewhere, the Driller managed to dig right at the base of a mountain. "Well, there's no way this baby is going to climb that," Cole said, gesturing to the mountain. "We'll have to do the rest on our own."

"But we'll make it up the mountain and to the Temple before they arrive," Lloyd said as Kai stepped out.

"Well let's see what my sister packed!" Kail suggested as he stepped out and went behind the driller and pressed the button on the chest as it popped out of then transformed into a Red Mech with a a multi-barrel fire blaster on its right arm.

"Oh, I love my sis!" Kai cheered as he was so excited about his own mech.

The warriors barreled up to them just as Kai activated his mech. "Leave this to me!" Kai said as the two Mechs leapt in front of the Warrior Bike as the driver looked at them in surprise. "Hey buddy, you just had to be first. And guess what you win? A little of this!" Heshouted as he picked up the bike and spun around before he tossed it and the Warrior a very good distance away.

"Who's next?" Kai took a few steps back as both sides looked ready to charge at each other. The Fire Ninja then ran and slammed into the ground with his Mechs' arms, causing the rest of the Bikes to be knocked over and damaged.

Kozu then rolled up to the Bikes, lifted his vehicle's back leg up and… well, extinguished the fire. He then noticed Kai's Mech's running back to the others and glared, turning to his remaining soldiers as he ordered, "Go!"

"These guys just don't stop!" Jay commented as the Bikes got closer.

Kai then got behind the others. "Cimb on!" He shouted as the others grab onto Ka's mech as he move as fast as he can up the mountain while the Bikes were riding up it.

"Oh, they're still coming!" Jay said as he looked down.

"One of these days, we're gonna have to fight!" Cole said.

"Not until we get your powers back!" Lydie reminded Cole.

"We're not climbing fast enough!" Zane called out as one of the stone warriors jumped onto Kai's mech foot.

Kai's mech started beeping as he looked down and saw the stone warrior dangling on the foot of his mech as he shook him off as the warrior screamed as he fell before Kai continued on.

"Activate hook!" Kai h shouted as he held up one other Mech's arms while hooks shot out from them, latching on near the top. Everyone aboard the Mech then ziplined straight towards the top. Kai turned to see the army still coming.

"We made it to the top!" Jay cheered but stopped when he saw nothing. "But where's the Temple of Light?!"

"Are you sure you used the medallion right?" Lydie questioned.

"Oh, of course I used it right!" Jay retorted. "It said it should be right here!"

"Well until we find it, I got to find a way to slow them down!" Kai said as he created a small rockslide that sent the Stone Army tumbling down the mountain. "That should be us a little time!"

The other Ninja started to climb higher until Lloyd spotted a light coming from just up ahead. He climbed higher and saw the place they were meant to find.

"The Temple of Light!" Lloyd said in awe. "Up here guys!" he called out to the others.

Soon, they finally managed to reach him and open the doors to the Temple of Light and walked inside. The temple interior was covered in dust and then along the walls were paintings of their history with some crystals on the walls.

"Guys, check this out." Jay said as the six ninja looked at the murals of the events they've done in the past. "It's us."

"Impossible." Kai said in disbelief. "It's everything we've ever done."

"You're right. There's the time when we journeyed to the Underworld, and when we found the Bounty, and facing the Devourer," Lydie started as she saw the events on the wall.

"Even right now." Cole said as he pointed at a picture of them doing exactly what they were doing in real life.

"But, how could it all be here?" Zane asked in wonder.

Lydie and Lloyd looked at each other as they nodded. "Destiny." They both said as they then saw one picture on the wall of them in the middle while the boys were lending them their powers.

"I think I know what we need to do." Lydie told her brothers as she turned to them, "Check the floor, there might be some clues."

Outside the Stone Army were getting closer. "Get the Ninja!" Kozu ordered.

The Ninja spread out as Lloyd and Lydie went to the middle and dusted some dirt away as they saw two dragon head symbols on the floor, one was an eastern dragon the other an eastern dragon like Lydie's. "Look." Lloyd spoke first as the two symbols were the two circles of a Dragon Yin-Yang symbol on the floor.

The others followed along as they dusted the dirt away as they each saw their emblem as they stood at their respective elemental emblems.

Lloyd and Lydie looked at their symbols when they walked on them, but nothing happened as they stood in confusion.

"Okay, now what?" Lloyd asked the others.

"Mom didn't even tell us a way to activate the temple." Lydie said with a sigh as they heard the army coming close to them.

"Why does everything have to be so hard?!" Cole complained.

The Garmadon siblings took a moment to think it over as they remembered what their mother said. "'For once the Ninjas of Yin & Yang finds the Instrument of Peace, they will strike it and know the power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master.'"

As his mother's word rang over and over in his head, he looked up and saw a large bell above him.

"The bell! It's an instrument!" Lloyd pointed out.

"And the bell is an instrument of peace!" Lydie added as she looked at the others. "You boys ready for this?"

"Bring it!" Cole said determinedly.

"Remember Lloyd, we hit the bell together!" Lydie shouted as Lloyd nodded as the siblings sync up and ran up the wall as they jump and stuck the bell together with a kick as a powerful loud chime was sent out, one that could be heard outside. Once the two landed on the ground, a bright light shine down on them s something was happening.

"Whoa, what's happening?!" Lloyd asked when the light shined down on him and he felt something inside as Lydie felt the same.

"No one move!" Zane told the others.

The Garmaodn siblings then felt something and then they reflected the light off the armors on their hoods which then bounced off the crystals around the room. The light soon reached the pillar where Kai was as the pillar glowed bright with the light. Kai felt power coursing through him as his Gi changed to with the ancient Ninjago symbol for fire on it and in his hand held a handle with a dragon head carved in it.

The beams continued on as the rest of the Ninja felt power coursing through them as they receive their respective Elemental Gis while holding the same dragon handle like Kai's but with their respective elements, Earth for Cole, Lightning for Jay, and Ice for Zane.

Lydie and Lloyd then started levitated upwards as their suits changed to Master Gis as well. As the Garmadon siblings levitated into the air and began to spin, blades in each of the grips that looked to be made of crystal and the Ninja's own elements formed on them.

"Guys! Send them your powers!" Kai ordered as they all sent elemental beams at Lloyd. Suddenly, in a massive explosion, a golden ethereal eastern dragon roared out of Lloyd while an obsidian western dragon roared out of Lydie as they collapsed onto the floor, Lloyd's armor having turned gold while Lydie's armor remained silver before the light vanished. "Lloyd! Lydie!" Kai called out to the two siblings who managed to get back on their feet.

Before long, the Stone Army had just arrived and were ready to fight off their enemy.

Lydie narrowed her eyes at the Stone Warriors, "We are done running." She said as she looked to her brother and he nodded.

"Let 'em have it!" Lloyd finished with a shout as they got up and they all took a battle stance.

"Now we get to fight!" Cole shouted excitedly. Kai clash blades with one of the stone warrior but instead of breaking the blade, it actually withstood the attack as flames burst out when it did.

"Cool!" Kai said in awe as he looped around the Warriors creating a wall of fire. Kai then charged in knocking them all away.

Some of the stone warriors were charging right at Jay with spears in hand. Jay waited patiently before jumping on top of the two Spears there are thrusted at him. His Elemental Blade then charged up power before he jumped off and electrocuted each stone warriors as they tumbled backwards like dominos.

Some of the warriors charged at Zane before he climbed up the pillar behind him. They soon stacked on top of each other before he used his Elemental Blade to freeze them solid before giving a powerful kick that shattered them when he reached the bottom.

Cole stood face to face with warriors and Darklings as they looked ready to attack. Cole then stabbed the ground with his Elemental Blade and rumbling occurred as the ground cracked before a mountain of dirt trapped the warriors when it rose from the ground. Cole let out a laugh before he moonwalked before backflipping and stomping on each head in the dirt. "Hee, hee!" He shouted as he spun around and held his head.

Kozu and the rest of the Army moved to finish them off. Lloyd and Lydie then narrowed their eyes. "Our turn," They both said in union as the others gathered behind them.

The two joined hands and focusing their powers, Lloyd green aura then turned gold while Lydie's turned her purple aura into a dark shade color and then from the orbs, transformed into a golden dragon from Lloyd and Lydie's turned into an obsidian dragon as the dragons roared.

Kozu's eyes widened, "Retreat!" He ordered his army as the once unstoppable army all ran out of the Temple as fast as their legs could go.

Out on the Bounty, Harumi was on the deck looking out to the forest in worry, "Still waiting, huh?" Harumi turned and saw Nya walking towards her with a sympathetic smile, "It's hard, trust me?"

"Do you think they're okay?" Harumi asked in anxiously. "If they didn't find the temple and got their powers back, the Stone Army could have…" She trailed off in worry.

Nya held her shoulder to comfort her before she looked to the peaks and saw something glowing, "Hey, what's that?" She wondered as she and Harumi narrowed their eyes.

Wu, Misako and came out on deck and joined them before they saw in the distance of the mountain, a golden dragon looped around the mountain and an purple obsidian dragon flying around it as they both roar while spinning around in a Yin-Yang formation while four elemental beams shoot out behind them as them.

The group cheered as they saw that the Ninja succeed in finding the temple and regaining their elemental powers while Lydie and Lloyd gain the power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Masters.

"They did it!" Nya cheered.

"Thank goodness!" Harumi cheered in huge relief.

"Yes." Wu agreed before Misako pulled him in for a hug.

"Perhaps good will win after all." Misako said with hope as Wu hugged her back.

Meanwhile at the Celestial Clock, Garmadon and the Overlord had witnessed the whole thing.

"It appears your 'indestructible' army isn't as tough as it appears to be." Garmadon spoke after seeing the Stone Army defeated by his children and the Ninja.

Rather then being insulted or angry, the Overlord was quiet calm. "The Ninja may be getting stronger, but so are we," He assured Garmadon. "When the Celestial Clock reaches zero, the Ultimate Weapon will be complete, and then there will be nothing the Ninja can do to stop you from turning Ninjago into your image."

Garmadon turned to the Clock and saw the hands were getting closer to the Skull and Crossbone symbol at the the end. His dream of recreating Ninjago was closer than ever…but there was still one last and impossible hurdle he need to jump to reach it: Defeating his own children.
