The rocket had just exited the planet's atmosphere as the Ninja were now floating in zero gravity. Jay looked out the ship's porthole and saw that they were now in space. Objects inside started to float around as well as Cole was floating towards a wall before he pushed himself off it. Zane was using his arms as if he was swimming around while Lydie was having trouble with the zero gravity.
Cole accidentally bumped into Zane as Jay put his hands behind his head like he was relaxing. Lloyd was waving his arms and legs around as Kai pushed off the wall in zero gravity. "Is this the greatest thing ever or what?" Jay asked excitedly as he was doing backstrokes.
"Where are you?" Kai asked him rhetorically. "We're trapped in space and you… Where did you go?!"
"Guys, we're in space," Jay reminded them as he was doing a bit of dance moves. "I thought this stuff only Fritz Donnegan gets to enjoy!"
"Fritz Donnegan is from a comic book, dude. This is real!" Lloyd shouted before he bumped into Lydie.
"Well, you're the one got me hooked on the character," Jay reminded as he did a fighting pose. "Would you lighten up and not step on my dreams of being a real Starfarer just yet?"
"Can we focus please?" Lydie questioned looking a little green. "We have to find a way to take control of the ship before-" She cut herself off as she covered her mouth.
Kai raised a brow, "Uh, you okay, captain?" He asked.
"I'm fine. Just…a little…" Lydie tried to say before she covered her mouth again as she turned green. "Ugh, space sickness." she moaned.
"Wait, you get space sick up here?" Jay asked in surprise. "Okay, first you have stage fright, then your scared of spiders, and now you have space sickness, what's next? You sleep with a teddy dragon?" He asked rhetorically.
Lydie covered her mouth as she looked around nervously while blushing, which didn't go unnoticed by the boys. "You do! Don't you!?" Cole asked in shock.
"Oh, like I'm the only one!" Lydie shouted. "Jay also sleeps with his…" She cut herself again as she covered her mouth. "Okay. I'm having second thoughts about this going into space plan." She moaned.
"Hey, you leave Mr. Cuddlywhomp out this!" Jay yelled out, which was a mistake as he realized what he said as the others turned to him in amusement. "Oops." He said sheepishly.
"Can we please focus on the mission?" Lloyd asked as he floats around. "Like my sister said, we have to find a way to take control of the ship. "If they get the Golden Weapons back to the Overlord, Ninjago doesn't stand much of a chance."
"And neither will my stomach if I have to deal with more of this zero gravity!" Lydie cried and let out a scream when Kai bumped into her.
"But there's no access to the rest of the ship," Kai pointed out as he rubbed his head. "The only way out is through the same airlock we came in."
"And if memory banks serve correctly, space has a way to take one's breath away, in the negative sense," Zane added while looking out the window.
Meanwhile on the bridge of the ship, a Nindroid pressed on a screen to show coordinates to a comet while the others were hard at work. General Cryptor was sitting in the captain's chair as he was giving orders. "Delta V guidance," he spoke. "Data-point zero thirty. Initiate auto sequencing."
"Yes sir!" Min-Droid saluted before he used the Jets under his legs to hover over to the front console before activating his gravity servos. He then pressed a few buttons as a timer showed five minutes on a screen.
Back on the bottom of the ship with the Ninja, Zane floated his way over to a console and some of the schematics for the ship as the bottom part of it was blinking. "Enjoy it while you can, Jay," he told him in a worried tone. "Because in five minutes, the entire ship is scheduled to lighten up. The supplemental boosters are set to detach."
"Uh, I'm a Ninja, not an astronaut," Kai pointed out. "What does that mean?"
"The portion of the ship we are currently stationed will soon detach and we will be abandoned in space with it," Frost explained, which cause worry in the others.
"Hello? Lloyd? Lydie? Anyone?" Misako's voice was heard as a transmission was coming through on the screen. The Ninja saw her and their friends on said screen.
Back in Ninjago, the Garmadon Family and the girls were in Borg's Office as they used the equipment to contact the Ninja while they're in deep space.
"Can you read me?" Misako asked again.
"We read you loud and clear," Kai answered as the group was immediately elated.
"They're alive, They're alive!" Garmadon declared.
"Good to hear you, Ninja," Wusaid, "We're going to get you home safe, Pixal was able to find the blueprints for the rocket. You need to escape the cargo hold before it's too late."
"How?" Lydie asked.
"Near the front of the ship is an A2 storage compartment. Inside are emergency spacesuits," Wu explained.
"That will be a doozy," Cole pointed out, accidentally hitting Lloyd in the face "We can't get the spacesuits unless we go outside. Problem is, we can't go outside without the spacesuits. Any other suggestions?" He asked.
"They are completely out of their element," Garmadon whispered harshly. "Even if they get through this, what chance do we have of getting them home?"
"Uh, we can still hear you," Kai pointed out.
"Yeah, we could really use some encouraging words right about now," Lloyd added.
"Can you at least try and encourage us, dad? Because we're already at a disadvantage as it is." Lydie added as they all looked at each other.
"If you cannot change your circumstances, change yourself," Wu told them.
"Hm, can anyone else figure that one out?" Kai asked the others.
"His wisdom usually takes a while to set in," Jay told him before looking back at the monitor. "But we don't have a while!"
"Frost, you're the only one who can survive outside the ship," Pixal told him. "After all, you're the only one who isn't organic."
"She's right," Zane agreed. "I'm the only one who doesn't need oxygen. I must go alone."
"Are you sure about this?" Lydie asked, sounding a bit nervous for him. "If you end up drifting off, you'll end up keep going. There's no up and down or left or right. You'll just be drifting off in one direction and unable to stop as you drift off into the empty void of space!"
"I'll be fine." Zane then floated his way over to the airlock before opening the door. He gave one last look to his friends before floating in and closing the door behind him.
"Go get 'em, Zane," Kai cheered for him.
"We're counting on you," Lydie added as Zane nodded.
He then floats over to the hatch and opens it, but as soon as he does, all the air blows out into the endless abyss as he grabs onto a loose wire to stay with the ship. Once it was over, he climbed up the booster up to the main vessel.
On the bridge, the Nindroids were coming up on a blue comet. "Approaching Arcturus-Delta V. Prepare to disengage supplemental boosters," he ordered his droids as Zane peeked his head through the window.
When Cryptor turned his head, Zane immediately ducked down and lost his grip and started floating away from the rocket, "No, no!" he said, futilely trying to grab onto something.
In the booster, the other Ninja saw they were about to be detached.
Zane kept floating further and further away from the ship and started to panic, but then he calmed down, "Come on Zane, you can do this. You can get back," he told himself, closing his eyes before opening them with determination. "Ice!" he called, using his powers like propulsion to fly back to the ship.
He then grabbed onto the wing and just by it he saw the door to the storage compartment. He floated over to it, entering random codes rapidly before getting the door open. He entered to find several spacesuits and quickly grabbed them.
Back with the others they watch the counter to when they would be detached in 20 seconds. "Come on, Zane, where are you?" Lloyd asked anxiously.
"Booster separation, on my command." Cryptor ordered and started counting. "Five."
Outside Zane floated over to the booster's hatch.
"Four."
Back at Borg Tower, the others stood in worry.
"Three."
The Ninja watched the door, hoping Zane would return fast.
"Two." Cryptor then turned to one of his droids, "Disengage," he said.
The droid flipped a switch and the booster detached from the rocket and fell right down, towards Ninjago below.
At Borg Tower, they all listened and hoped that they got out from the booster in time. "We made it!" Lloyd's voice came through before they all cheered in relief that they were all right. "We have our space suits and found one way to change ourselves."
On the spaceship, the Ninja had their masks over their faces as they had their spacesuits on while they were riding on the wing of the shuttle. "At least now we can stay on this ride a bit longer," Lloyd continued as he turned on the lights on his helmet.
"All right, to commandeer the ship, you have to get to the cockpit," Nya informed them. "You'll find an access patch just ahead of you." The Ninja looked forward and they could see one on the roof of the shuttle.
"You know what's also ahead? An absolute void of nothingness!" Cole complained. "If any one of us falls off…"
"We'll take it slow," Kai assured him. "Together." The jet on the booster then powered up as the Ninja held on tight to the wing when the ship moved in the direction of the comment.
Lydie cheeks puffed up as she tried to keep her lunch in and Zane turned to her, "Do not worry Lydie, the suits come with anti space sickness."
"If they even work." Lydie groaned. "Which by the way-"
"Right button on your gauntlet." Zane told her.
Lydie looked to her gauntlet and saw the button, "Oh," She said before pressing and felt a lot less quizzy, "Ahh, way better." She sighed in relief.
"I can't wait to see the expressions on the faces of those metal chrome domes when they find out we've stowed away onboard," Jay told the others as they carefully moved towards the roof.
"They're Nindroids, nimrod. They don't have expressions," Cole groaned.
In the cockpit, the Nindroids heard the voices intercom.
"Yeah, well Zane has expressions," Jay pointed out as Cryptor slammed his hand in rage, realizing the Ninja were on board
Then there was sound of a bonk and a yelp of pain from Jay, "Jay! Zane is nothing like them, do we really have to go over this right now!?" Lydie asked.
"It's just so quiet, I'm only trying to fill the space," Jay explained before he realized what he just said as he chuckled a little. "Get it? Space?"
"Can't you ever be quiet?! They might hear us!" Lydie called out.
"We have a few stowaways," Cryptor said before he turned to Min-Droid and a few other Nindroids. "Get rid of them."
"Yes sir," Min-Droid as the other Nindroids saluted before they left the bridge.
Cryptor then contacted Pythor."The Ninja have hitched a ride on Arcturus," Cryptor explained.
"Stay the course for Delta V and the Golden Weapons," Pythor told him. "They must be getting help. We'll track down who's aiding them."
"Understood." Cryptor said.
Outside, the Ninja were getting closer to the cockpit. "So much for our surprise attack. Look out!" Cole yelled as Nindroids came out.
"Eliminate the Ninja!" Min-Droid ordered as they fired lasers at the Ninja.
The Ninja kept their heads down to avoid the laser until on Nindroid deployed their wings and boosters and flew over their heads and in front of Jay. "Any last words?" he taunted.
Jay glared, "Yeah, think fast!" he said before pulling back an antenna and flicked it in his face. With the Nindroid stunned, Jay grabbed his blaster and started blasting the Nindroid.
The Ninja cheered for Jay after seeing what he did before he started blasting at the other Nindroids. "All right!" Cole shouted as he started the fire back
"Not Jay. Fritz Donnegan! Fear isn't a word where I come from!" he recited.
"Oh, man," Lloyd sighed. "I'm sorry for introducing him to that."
"Don't be, bro." Lydie assured her brother, having an idea. ""If we can't change our circumstances, that's one way to change yourself."
The Nindroids continued to fire at them before the Ninja pushed themselves towards the roof. Kai then lit up his Kai with fire when they were in formation. "Fire!" He threw a fireball at one of the Nindroids, knocking it off the ship.
Lloyd quickly stepped to one side from a blast before he summoned his golden power and created a shield around him.
Lydie manage to blast some away with her dark energy as she also created an elemental shield to block the lasers as she fired back.
Cole then pried a piece of the ship off and launched it at the Nindroids. "Hope we didn't need that," he sassed.
Zane then threw an ice ball at them. "Ice!" he shouted as one of the Nindroids was frozen by the ball.
Since Cole can't use his powers in deep space, he have to rely on his skills as a Nindroid flew up in front of him. "NINJA-" He performed Spinjitzu, but it failed and he got thrown off, "Uh-oh!" He cried.
"Cole!" Kai yelled out as the Nindroids laughed in amusement.
"Guys! A little help, please!?" Cole cried out as he waved his arms and legs around as he started floating away.
"We can't use our Spinjitzu without gravity," Zane explained, dodging a laser. "There's too little resistance!"
"Too little?!" Lloyd retorted, still holding his shield up. "I say the resistance is a little more than we can handle at the moment!"
Jay then knocked a Nindroid off its legs. "Haven't you heard, scourge?! No free rides!" he quoted before kicking the Nindroid away.
"HELP!" Cole cried out as he was getting farther away.
"Jay! Don't let Cole get away! Lydie ordered as she saw him drift farther and farther away. "Ugh… Fritz! Save him!" She said.
"I'm on it, Commander Zorra!" Jay declared as he did a flip over a Nindroid before kicking it Off. He then grabbed hold of a pipe to blow Min-Droid off. "I just blew you away! Ha, ha!"
"Whoa! Not cool!" Min-Droid shouted before he tried to grab hold of the ship only to grab hold of a cord as he was pulled back. As he was at the back of the ship, the boosters went off right when he was in front of them. "OW, HOT!"
"HELP!" Cole called out as she waved his arms. Within his space helmet, he was breathing heavily as he was drifting farther away from the ship. Jay saw him almost out of range before he saw a tether on the roof of the ship.
He hooked him to the tether to himself, "Fritz Donnegan to the rescue!" He declared as he jump towards Cole with the tether hooked on to stay attach to the rocket.
"HELP!" Cole cried out again.
Once Jay got close to Cole, he grabbed him by the legs. "Gotcha! Next time, don't get carried away." He quipped as Zane and Kai pulled them in while Lloyd and Lydie provides cover for them.
"Thanks, I owe you one." Cole said to Jay.
"Okay, don't try and steal Nya." Jay requested with a look.
"Hey, I never even tried in the first place, pal." Cole honestly said as they were reeled in back to the rocket.
Back on the bridge, the Nindroids saw that they were close to the comet's as Cryptor sat up from his chair. "The Golden Weapons," he said it before he got an idea on how to deal with the Ninja. "Prepare for entry. But take us through the comet's tail."
"General, the comet's letting off a high volume of debris," one of the Nindroids reported. "A direct hit to the hull could cause-"
"Do it!" Cryptor demanded before they complied and steered the ship towards the tail of the comet.
"You are almost to the cockpit," Wu told the Ninja through their communication as more Nindroids came to the roof while the Ninja were behind the Garma-Twins, but their communication started to sound all gargling. "Just make sure to continue your course. And focus on the task ahead."
"Uncle? I'm getting interference," Lydie said as she tapped her helmet. "I can't hear you!"
He turned around just in time to see a large rock zooming towards them and banged on the ship. "Asteroids!" Zane gasped as the Garma-Twins were knocked out of their shields.
"Cryptor is steering us into the tail of the comet!" Kai exclaimed.
"We need to find cover!" Lydie shouted, as parts of the ship were broke off.
"Cover?! What cover?!" Cole asked retorically.
So
Some of the Nindroids retreated into the Cockpit as the remaining crew stayed to endure the meteor shower. "Hey! Wait for me!" Min-Droid shouted as he dashed inside and closed the door without waiting for the other droids.
"Oh, I don't like this!" one Nindroid whimpered as he and another hugged each other in fear.
Jay laughed, "Hey, ha-ha! See, they do have expressions!" The Nindroids were then blown off the ship, leaving the Ninja behind, "Never mind," Jay squeaked.
Back at Borg Tower, the others were having trouble communicating with the Ninja. "They can't hear us because of the asteroid shower." Misako told them.
"They must be preparing to land." Pixal theorized.
"But we have to warn them about what else is on that comet," Garmadon added.
Seliel then pointed to the security feed, "Uh yeah, about that," She said as the screen showed Pythor, Borg and Nindroids marching towards them, "We've got our own problems."
In the main lobby, some of the Nindroids carried in a big containment unit with Borg with them. "The Transmissions are coming from here." Pythor told the Nindroids.
Within the containment unit, the Overlord was starting to take a form as it was stabilizing him. "Cease the entire building!" he ordered. "This place will play a crucial role to our greater agenda once they return with the Golden Weapons!"
"Do it!" Pythor relayed as the Nindroids charged up the stairs.
"We must go!" Wu told the others.
"But we have to warn them," Garmadon reminded him. "We can't just leave them without telling them what else is out there."
"Then grab everything that you can and bring it with us," Misako quickly ordered before they scattered across the room and grabbed whatever they could.
They look around for a way out, "We need an escape route if they got all the exits blocked!" Seliel called out.
"This way!" Nya pointed towards the hole that was made when Borg was taken.
The Ninja were not faring any better, as the meteor shower was not letting up. "Looks like we're coming in hot!" Kai exclaimed before Lloyd lost his grip and slipped off the ship.
"Lloyd!" Lydie called out and turned to her friends, "Boys, Ninja-Chain!" She ordered.
The boys then linked arms as they held onto each other while Lydie held onto her brother as the ship flew over and under the rock spikes on the comet as they came in for a landing.
"Hold on!" Lydie called out as they black out.
Back at Borg Tower, the three villains and the Nindroids reached the top floor as they walked into the room, only to find it was abandoned.
"Hmph, the cowards have fled." Pythor commented.
The Nindroids carrying the Overlord's container and Borg walked in. "But Arcturus has landed," the Overlord told them. "Prepare the factory," he ordered as they all stepped back and the pod opened. The Overlord breathed heavily as he hobbled out. He looked to be a pitch-black person but the Overlord had a black helmet on. "The Golden Master of Destruction will rise on their return!" He declared.
Outside the others heard the Overlord while on the window lift as they were holding onto the equipment.
"He's vulnerable. We must fight him now!" Garmadon suggested.
Wu shook his head. "No, not until we get the Ninja home safe," he said as Borg heard their voices. "We must get back in contact with them. We need to find somewhere we can't be found." He stated.
"I know just the place," Misako said before they felt the platform trembling and looked up to see Borg using his laser eye to cut the wire holding them up.
"We've been spotted!" Nya called out.
"And it's a long way down!" Seliel called out as she look down at how high they were.
"Don't lose those computer components!" Nya told the others. "We need them all!" Borg then cut through the wire as the one side of the platform broke off. They tried to hold on as they fell back before a component Pixal held onto bounced off when she fell back. She quickly caught it as Sensei Wu noticed a platform just overhead.
"Hurry, use our momentum. Together," he told the others as they used their momentum on the platform to swing back while Borg was cutting the other wire. "Now!" Wu shouted when it was cut and they all jumped to the platform. Wu however was falling before his brother quickly jumped off and caught him.
"I got you, brother!" Garmadon grunted as the Nindroids started to fire lasers at them as Nya, and Seliel tried to block them with their weapons.
"Great, now we'll never get out of here!" Nya called out.
"We're totally cut off!" Seliel called out as she used her glaive to block the lasers.
"Leave that to me," Pixal told them as she closed her eyes and accessed the Borg system while Seliel and Nya continued deflecting the lasers.
"Get them, you imbeciles!" Pythor ordered just before they heard a HoverCopter coming up and firing back at the Nindroids.
"Good thinking!" Nya complimented Pixal. "You're still linked into the security forces." She said.
"Ha! Pix, you are now officially my favorite robot!" Seliel cheered as they all entered the HoverCopter.
"Thank you. Now let's get out of here." Pixal said as they flew off.
"I hope the city can survive without us," Garmadon said as he had a bad feeling what the Overlord has in mind for New Ninjago City.
"So too the Ninja, I pray," Wu added as they flew off.
Meanwhile in space, the shuttle crash-landed on the comet as it had a smoke near the boosters with large jagged rocks around. The Ninja also had made as they were just a mile away from the shuttle as they are seen on the ground. They all set up as they were lucky to have survived the trip. The lights on their helmets flickered on as they stood up. "We survived!" Jay cheered before he started to kiss the ground through his helmet.
They all rushed up and saw the rocket in front of them as Lloyd spoke through the comms. "Nya, are you there?" He asked, but there was no response as Lydie got worried and spoke through it next.
"Mom? Dad? Uncle? Anyone!?" Lydie called out, but there was still no response.
"Maybe the others didn't make it," Kai guessed as they walked towards the shuttle. Once they were inside, they made it towards the cockpit only to find it completely abandoned.
"They're all gone." Zane told the others as they walked in.
"They must've already left for the weapons." Cole guessed.
"Great, so let's take their ship and head back home before they get back!" Lydie called out as Jay ran up to the controls.
Jay then groaned in frustration. "There's a problem with that, Captain, they took the launch key!" He called out to the empty slot.
"Are you telling me this entire ship starts up with a simple little key?" Kai asked as he was sitting in the captain's chair.
"Come on, tell me one of you knows how to hotwire this thing," Cole said as he rushed to one of the controls.
"If we can't take the rocket, we might as well prevent them from taken the Golden Weapons." Lydie suggested as her brother then came to them.
"Hey guys, come and see this!" Lloyd said from down the hall as the boys followed her to the launch bay and found a vehicle. "They took Lunar Rovers. Looks like they left one, along with some tracks to follow," He pointed to outside where they saw tire tracks.
The Ninja piled into the rover and drove off but it was a bit of a tight fit, "Gah! Move your gas tank, I can't see!" Jay complained to Kai.
"Your blaster is in my rib!" Kai told Jay.
"That's not a blaster, that's my leg!" told him.
"Zane, you're squeezing my arm!" Cole told Zane.
"I thought that was the accelerator," Zane said sheepishly.
"Couldn't they make these things a bit bigger?!" Lydie complained.
They rolled over a hill and yelled as they made a jump and kept rolling until they came upon a cave with golden glow. "This must be where the Golden Weapons landed," Lloyd said as they came to a stop.
The Ninja climbed out the rover and went into the cave. Once inside they found the Nindroid excavating a molten ball of gold, "There are the Weapons!" Cole said quietly.
"And there's the key!" Kai pointed to the metal object to around Cryptor's neck.
"But which do we grab?" Jay asked.
One of the Nindroids looked at the golden ball with awe. "Oohh, shiny," he said, reaching for the ball.
But Cryptor panicked, "No don't-" He could not finish as just went the Nindroid touched it he exploded and the rest of them back away. "Only the Overlord can withstand the power of all the weapons combined. No droid directly touches the orb," he ordered as the Nindroids wisely listened.
"Those are the Golden Weapons, all right," Jay stated.
"Now we just need to figure out a way to get the key and prevent them from taking the Golden Weapons." Lydie said quietly. "I'm surprised that even in ball form, they keep in shape, even when fused together." She commented.
"What makes you say that?" Kai asked.
"You see the shape of the Scythe of Quakes on that ball?" Lydie questioned, pointing to the mangled shape of the scythe.
The boys squint their eyes as they focused on the golden ball before they all nodded. "Oohh." The boys all said in unison.
"Okay, we see it." Cole nodded at seeing his old scythe.
"Looks like when we shot the Golden Weapons into space, they must've melted together and crashed here when we destroy the Mega Weapon." Lydie theorized. "Now we just need to grab them, without getting vaporized."
"Um, that'sa problem, because 1: No mortal shall possess all four and 2: It's totally surrounded by Nindroids." Cole said before he noticed something on Zane's hand, "Um, Zane?" He pointed.
Zane glanced at his arm and saw a small green beetle like creature with red eyes. "Hello there, little friend," he greeted with a small smile.
"Aww, would you look at that?" Jay said as he took the creature from Zane. "Can you believe it?! It's an extraterrestrial lifeform!"
"It's a bug, and it's not what's important right now." Cole reminded him.
"But there's so much we could learn from it, so much we could teach it. I'm gonna call him 'Glowie'," Jay said as Glowie crawled on his leg before taking flight. "Aw look, Glowie can fly. Heh, how cute," he laughed before Glowie landed on Jay's helmet.
"You must not disturb the alien life!" Wu called through Lydie's helmet but there was a lot of static, "They are very Dangerous! Can you hear me?"
"I couldn't make that out, Uncle." Lydie said as she tried to get what Wu was saying. "What did you say?"
Back in Ninjago, the group had retreated back to Garmadon and Misako's Orphan Monastery and were currently in the Dojo trying to warn the Ninja as they set up the equipment.
""The alien life. They're very dangerous," Wu repeated as Susan and Nao came in with some tea and cups while on the computer was a picture of the insect Jay named Glowie.
"Tea?" Nao asked as Susan poured some cups as Garmadon took one.
"A few years ago, scientists studied a meteorite that had fallen into Ninjago," Nya told them as she was reading out of the book with Misako. "It most likely came from the same comet you're on."
"Apparently, inside the meteorite, there were the fossilized remains of some kind of parasite that feeds on metal alloys," Misako continued as more of the same bug started to crawl up Zane's and Jay's legs.
"They tickle," Zane commented as both him and Thunder started giggling.
"Stop it, silly Glowie!" Jay laughed as more started to swarm around them.
"Ow!" Zane grunted when he felt one of them bit him.
"Do you hear me?!" Misako called out. "Whatever you do, don't come in contact with the parasites. They eat through metal!"
The Ninja went wide-eyed from what Misako just said as more of the parasites swarmed around them.
"Agh! They're eating through my exoskeleton!" Zane shouted as he saw a few of them chewing all over him.
"Bad, Glowie! Bad!" Jay shouted as they were all screaming to get these little alien bugs off them. Cryptor and the other Nindroids overheard their commotion with the alien parasites as they saw them panicking.
"They're on me too!" Kai called out as they all started running away from the bugs.
"They're everywhere!" Jay shouted. One of these parasites flew over towards Cryptor and freaked him out.
"Ah! Agh!" Cryptor shouted before he swatted that parasite often while a few others landed on the golden ball before they disintegrated. "The gold must remain intact. Back to the ship!"
Their space vehicles started up and drove away as they hauled the golden ball on one of them.
"They're getting away with the key and the Weapons!" Lydie shouted as she swatted a bug away.
"What do we do? Any ideas, guy?!" Zane asked as they continued to try and swat the parasites off them.
"Space! Why did we come to space?!" Cole complained. "If I could change any circumstance, I'd change ever coming here in the first place!"
"If you can't change your circumstances, change yourselves!" Lloyd declared.
"Now's not the time to be quoting Wu," JAytold him.
"No. Lloyd's right! I finally see what he means," Lydie corrected. "This is just like the Starteeth. Come on, I've got an idea." She said as she lead the boys back to their rover they drove off with the parasites following them.
The Nindroids were on their way back to the ship with the golden orb hauling behind the one in front. The Ninja drove theirs as they were following them close behind. "Ninja!" one of the Nindroids told Cryptor when he spotted them. Cryptor looked back and let out a grunt as he saw them when he looked out the window.
"Get them!" He ordered before the Nindroids started to fire blasters at them. The Ninja swerved from side to side to dodge each blast being fired at them as they continued to drive on.
"Sensei meant instead of focusing on how wrong things are, focus on what's right!" Lloyd explained as he steered the rover with the parasites following behind.
"We have to think positive!" Lydie called out. Those parasites aren't just a menace, they're a weapon!" She added as the Parasites honed in on the Nindroids. "Attack!"
The parasites flew past them as they started to go after the Nindroids and their rovers. Some of the Nindroids started freaking out as the parasites swarmed all over them before one of them bumped into another. That bump caused them both to crash as the one that bumped into them still swerved with the parasites all over them. Soon that one drove off the cliff as the Nindroids on board screamed when they fell.
The rest of them continued onwards as the parasites were still on them and the Ninja were catching up. Cryptor spotted a large gap in the road as he didn't want to slow down or stop so the Ninja could get the gold. "Go!" he ordered the driver which surprised him.
"Uh, no way General." The driver shook his head frightenedly.
"What?!" Cryptor then kicked the driver out before he took the wheel and pressed down the gas.
They then jumped the gap with four of the Nindroids on board falling off. The other Nindroids then jumped the gap but only two of them made it as one crashed.
The Ninja soon saw the gap up ahead as they started screaming before Lloyd pushed down the gas pedal to go faster. They soon jumped the gap and flipped in the air before they made it across, causing them to cheer. "Now let's go get that launch key!" Kai declared as they got out of the rover, minus Lloyd, while the Nindroids resumed to blast at them.
"NINJA-GO!" the Ninja declared as they did Spinjitzu, minus Zane, and jumped towards the rover in front of them.
"Ice!" Zane froze one of the Nindroids in the front seat before ducking under some blast from a couple of them. He then kicked one of them off the rover. As it fell off, Lloyd gave it a kick when it came straight towards him as the others knocked the rest of them off.
Kai punched one off as Lydie flipped more of them off. Cole grabbed two of them by the blaster before slamming them together as Jay blocked punches from another before kicking him off.
"Hello!"LYdie greeted the driver up front before he punched him off. Cole and Jay then did Spinjitzu back to Lloyd as the other three jumped towards another while the other they just finished crashed. Kai then tossed the driver of the rover he was on out.
"NINJA, GO!" Kai shattered as he spun his way back to the others while Zane took care of the second rover before it hit a bump. It caused him to go up in the air as he were beating the Nindroid. He then slam him into the ground before Zane froze the one behind them and knocked the Nindroids onto the gold orb and disintegrated him.
Zane quickly grabbed hold of the straps holding the gold as it was bumping alongside the road. He lost their grip as they fell back to the others before he used his powers to get on top of the rover. The only ones on board the rover with the gold were Cryptor and Min-Droid as Min-Droid looked nauseous as he was holding on to the side. Kai then spun his way over to that rover before he got on top of Min-Droid as he faced Cryptor.
"You can keep your gold!" Kai told Cryptor before he snatched the launch key from his neck after he kicked him in the face. "I got it, let's get out of here!" The others drove up beside Cryptor as Kai jumped back on.
"NINJA-GO!" They declared as Cryptor came to before he screamed when the rover he was on drove into a wall, flipped and landed upside down. The Ninja laughed at him as they continued driving back to the ship.
"Ninja!" Cryptor grunted as Min-Droid groaned from that crash.
The Ninja laughed and cheered as they got the launch key for the ship. "We're home free!" Jay told the others with excitement. However, their celebration was short-lived when Lydie stopped the rover and saw the ship being eaten away by the parasites.
"The Rocket. It's…destroyed," Lydie said in horror when they saw what remains the ship.
"Then how are we going to get home?" Lloyd asked.
"There's no way back." Cole said as there is now way off the comet now.
"You're not the only ones who can adapt!" They turned around and saw Cryptor and the Nindroids, along with the gold before they saw them take off. They saw that their feet are really jets and are using them to fly off with the gold. "So long, Ninja!" He taunted.
"No!" Lloyd shouted when they saw the Nindroids fly back to Ninjago with the gold.
"They got away. We failed," Lydie radio in sadly. "I repeat, they got the Golden Weapons."
"Are you on the rocket?" Seliel asked in hope. "Can you stop them?"
"No. The rocket's destroyed," Lydie answered in despair. "We're not coming home." This has left them in shock as the Ninja are now stranded on a comet far from Ninjago. Now that the enemy had the gold needed to turn the Overlord into the Golden Master of Destruction, this just leaves one beckoning question: How will they return to Ninjago to save it from its fate?
