Chapter 2
A slight shake can be felt across the aircraft and the plane finally arrives at the international Airport of Haneda. With that Junsei gets up from his seat, gets his luggage, puts his cap, and mask on to stay incognito. After a while of walking and waiting in line, Junsei gets to the custom border checkers. Realizing that he would need to reveal his identity to the worker most likely. With a bit of panic Junsei slowly approaches the border agent, as they talk.
"Passport please, and please take the cap, and mask off sir." Says the worker, with gray slick in his eyes. Obviously tired.
With that Junsei as naturally as a human can possibly muster, takes his cap, and mask off, then hands over his passport. Hoping to god the passport checker doesn't notice him.
Looking back at Junsei the agent asks "Do I know you from somewhere?"
With the greatest act Junsei can muster, he smiles and talks up great white lie." Well probably no sir, i haven't visited the county for a while, for like 7 years i believe."
"Well , sir, I hope you enjoy coming back to Japan after so long." Says the agent as he stamps the passport, as he gives it back to Junsei.
With that Junsei smiles with all innocence, but all devilish smiles back."Thank you sir." Picking up the passport, moving on away to the exit of the airport.
"(I swear I've seen that guy before.)" Staring back at the man who's leaving."oh well, next!."
Moving along the rest of the airport, and exiting the airport, Junsei can do nothing but be overloaded with media, and ads. There was no way Junsei could avoid it. There were scenes, posters, and massive tvs of popular actors, and celebrities all round promoting any kind of product, and show. For Junsei you couldn't avoid it, no matter how much he tried, ads, and ads all round.
"(holy hell, this place is even worse than when i was at time square, in new york.)" Says Junsei whilst being completely blinded by the lights that just can't stop,
Going along, Junsei walks to the nearest taxi he can find, hoping the driver won't recognize him too. So as he approaches the taxis, he can only put his mask, and cap on,only hoping for the best.
As he finds one, he calls for it, as he hopes into the cab, As the driver speaks up. " Where are you heading sir?" Asking Junsei the simple question.
Thinking to himself, Junsei realized that he never planned on where to head, except maybe a concert. But first he does need to get to a place where he can rest up.
"Um, you can leave me off somewhere near the center of Tokyo." Junsei speaks, as he will plan on what to do once he gets there.
"Alright sir." Acknowledging the request, as he turns the car on, and begins driving off.
As the drive continues Junsei can only think on what to do once he gets there. So as the ride goes, seeing buildings, and all sorts of advertisements, Junsei can only feel his eyes slowly droop down. As the car rides, it all gets blurry, and dark until Junsei loses consciousness, and falls into a deep sleep. As he goes into a dream about the past.
"And why should I listen to a kid?" An all so angry actor, in a film studio asks a 12 year old Junsei.
A little annoyed, Junsei can only speak with a logical response." You see Mike. your acting abilities require a lacks presence, to blend in the scene, and overall increase the penance, and tensing in the scene, for whatever the story needs to tell." Junsei gave Mike a logical explanation that Junsei thought would be enough for him. And even giving him a kind smile on top of it. But when looking back at the face of Mike, Junsei can only see clear frustration in his face.
"Hmph, I don't even care." Mike says as he leaves the set, with a scowl.
Looking back at Mike, Junsei can only stand there believing what he's done was the right choice of words. But for some reason it didn't. For Junsei this doesn't make any sense. Every time a problem has happened in the moment of production, a good and logical solution was the right choice, and with a nice smile was always enough but now it isn't. Is it now that he's in a different county with different people, and a different understanding of how the media industry should run in America?
Sitting back in a chair, Junsei starts thinking to himself."(Alright think, the American media works of its own talent, and abilities to express ideas in their own form. But there's a surreal problem in that. If different ideals of a perfect scene, and movie is born from someone's own ideas, and philosophy combine with an already pre existing idea, and script, they are unable to combine. So the fact of the matter is that, it can result in great movies, when the ideas work, however it can easily result in a completely chaotic movie. So the risk is too big for what i'm trying to do in the movie, and if this movie fails, the higher ups are going to probably never allow this small studio to grow anymore. So if Mike doesn't get the act correctly, the movie might as well not work all together. And it's not like I can get rid of him, his abilities to combine with the scene and other side characters are so great, finding someone like that will be nearly impossible. So I need him. But how do i get him to work with the script?)"
"Crap." Junsei says silently. But as he says it, a certain person approaches Junsei from the back.
"You know Mike doesn't enjoy being talked down to when he wants to express himself in a scene."
Turning around there stands a curly haired man standing to the side of Junsei.
"You see Mike is pretty easy when you just compliment him, and his acting abilities are pretty self conscious, when it's put into question. So just be a little nicer to him." The curly haired says, giving some info about Mike's personality.
Getting up from his chair, Junsei asks." And what is your name, and are you friends with Mike?" Junsei says with curiosity.
"No, not really, I'm just pretty observant with the people around me. And what I see from Mike,he does bring great chemistry with any scene involving more than one vision, and emotion. But he wants to over power any scene when he wants to stand out, overall ruining the balance of any scene again. So you definitely got the man for the movie, and the aspect of the film, but you didn't think about his vision for the film. Oh yeah by the way the name is Jack. I'm just a vice set producer."
Smiling Junsei can only absorb all the information he just got, as he speaks." For just a vice set producer, don't you know a little too much my man."
"What can i say, i am observant of whatever is happening around me, and cant help but listen to people talk around me." answering Junsei non nonchalant.
"Ah I see, you're a stalker." Says Junsei with a cracked grin.
"Aye, I'M NOT !" Jack giving a angry pout to Junsei.
"Pfft." Junsei cracks up at Jack's shout of anger ."(This guy doesn't like getting teased. Now that's fun. But what he said, I can use it perfectly. You jack probably haven't even realized how much you helped me right now. because the information I just needed is perfect for the movie. because from here on out, i'm a new liar.)"
Putting on a perfect new smile, Junsei now looking in Jack's eyes, he speaks."Thank you alot Jack, you're a pretty good dude."
Staring back at Junsei, Jack could swear to god there were bright white stars in his eyes. Something out of this word. The closest he could compare it was to the greatest actors he's ever seen in his life. But this was too much, too perfect, nearly an angel. It's almost like he would do whatever he asks of him, without question.
Blushing, and a bit embarrassed for some reason Jack can only get a few words out." Ah- Thanks… well gotta go then." Jack says as he rushes off."(Damn what was that, it's like he's a new person, and he's just a kid?)" Jack thinks to himself as he leaves.
But as Jack leaves, Junsei only gets up to move toward where Mike just went off. As he arrives next Mike's own private room, in the studio. Mike lets himself in the room, as he spots Mike sitting by himself, reading the script.
Spotting Junsei next to his front door, Mike tries to speak. But is immediately stopped by starry eyes, and a perfect smile. Angelic? Adorable? Perfect? Mike couldn't describe it no matter how he tried. But what he knows, is that whatever anger Mike might as well had, is now gone, in that one instant. Unable to talk, Mike stands there frozen.
Now smiling with even more brightness, Junsei is now prepared to create a great lie of praise, so perfect, it might as well be a truth." You see Mike, you're such a great talent in the movie, I really believe in your skills, and everything you can do. And also how you can bring entire scenes together with just your own presence; making the nearly chaotic scene into a scene that flows beautifully with all elements is truly what I wanted." Now for Junsei to finish this off. He gets his hands in clapping prayer, as he tilts his head to the side, and winks one eye as he asks once again." So Mike, do you mind coming back on set? I would love to have you as the role for the movie."
Standing there, Mike can only blush from the compliment. Because for Mike, he was a newly found actor in Hollywood with his own ideals for filmmaking. But for the first time, since coming here, he's been complimented for what he could tell was perfectly honest. There were no imperfections or lies in there, or even sugar coated words. For him, it where real to him.
"um…Thank you very much." Blushing from the serenity of his words." And I'm very sorry for calling you out there, I just want my own ideal version of acting to stand out." As he says that, Junsei approaches Mike.
"Ahhh that's fine for me. In my eyes you're already the ideal actor for the whole movie, and whatever you do is perfect for the film itself." Junsei says, as he grabs Mike's hands, and stares into his eyes." I believe in you."
With that Mike stares right into Junsei's eyes, completely believing in him.
"Okay."
Smiling now, Junsei lets go of Mike's hand, as he speaks." Thank you so much. Alright now let's head back, Movies now can't happen without its main star now." Junsei says, as both Junsei, and Mike move out of the room to finish the rest of the filming.
Arriving back on set, you could say Mike enters the flow for acting, as he performs his best ever you could ever. Ready to make this movie, and its vision into reality.
While standing there directing the film, with all starry eyes; Junsei makes the film into the vision he saw in the beginning.
Later on, the film would become one of the greatest films created in the decade. Nominated for the Oscars, and winning. With both Mike, and Junsei being praised for their talents in the film. With Mike becoming an A-list actor, and famous celebrity, and Junsei's reputation growing around the whole of America, and the world itself for bringing such a great film into reality. And then so on Junsei continuing his growth in becoming the perfect honest liar, for the whole of Hollywood.
But as the dream of the past comes, and goes. Junsei is snapped back to reality, with the driver telling him the ride is done."Alright we're here, you can hop out now."
Smiling, Junsei thanks the man, as he leaves the car being left in the middle of Tokyo city, basking it all its light, and people. Grabbing his suitcase, Junsei moves along the busy streets, with even now more ads, and screens all round himself. Moving to the closest hotel he can find, Junsei enters the hotel as he approaches the central area of the hotel, Junsei spots one of those kiosks that can pay for nights in the hotel. As he pays, Junsei moves on into the tired floor of the hotel, and finally enters the room. The room can only be described as a compact room of all necessary amenities a person would need to survive.
"Well it's cleaner than any of the 6 motels I've ever been to." Junsei says as he sits down on the bed.
But now opening his laptop, Junsei decides to scroll over some social media, to see whatever is happening around. Scrolling around until he spots it.
"B-Komachi idol group?" Looking closer at the advertisement, Junsei sees it as clear as day. The front of the entire image, there stands an idol with purplish hair, and even beautiful gradient eyes to boot. For what Junsei could think was the perfect idol he's seen." Well I guess seeing an idol could get whatever block I got, seize away. Let's see, today at 8:00 Pm…" Looking back at the time, it's already 7:40 Pm." Crap! I gotta rush." As quickie as Junsei could he gets up, gets his mask, and cap. Puts them on, as he leaves his room, and leaves his hotel room. Looking back at the address it was being played at some club, nearby his own hotel. Pretty lucky, Junsei thinks.
Moving past people along the street. It only takes exactly 15 minutes to get to his location, exhausted to no end, Junsei can only think of going to the club. But as soon as he enters, or tries to get a good look at the show; He's pushed in like a shardeen, with no way to move closer, Junsei only now can try his best to get a good view point on top.
"(Hm? I need to see what's happening. The show is gonna start in like 2 minutes.)"
Junsei now looking around spots a chair, near the corner of the hall. Moving along as he pushes past, many fans, and guests. Junsei makes it to the chair, and stands on top of it, as soon as the show starts.
As soon as it starts all the lights turn off, and then shadows appear on stage. But as soon they line up, a final one runs up to the center of it, and jumps. But as soon she finally lands, all the light, and music starts, with the entire crowd going insane.
But in the middle of it all stands one idol, shining brighter than all the rest. It was the purple haired one. It was obvious how good she was. for Junsei that didn't matter, because with all that, there was one feature that stood out. And that was her perfect form of love. But as soon as Junsei said that he would smile, and see it in her eyes. They were perfect eyes of a true liar of the media industry, and acting all around the world. Standing there Junsei can only stand there at amazement, as he finally thinks of what she is.
"(OH, I SEE YOU MISS PERFECT LIAR.") Junsei sees it all, the perfect lie of love to all to see.
Notes
Wow this 2nd chapter is taking longer than i thought it would be. But I think there were some grammar mistakes there, but overall i think i got what i wanted across in this chapter.
Overall this chapter was made to add more depth into the Junsei story. But damn 5 days to make this, i must be running out of juice.
Well overall, leave any constructive criticism for me. With that I would try to push how the story moves on forwards.
See you all, all and hopefully all your Oshi no ko craving and come to pass, once im done with this fanfic.
