Few weeks later, In Tokyo,

Atsuko was standing outside, looking out into the distance longingly as Yumi passed by. "Do not worry, dear, he will be home soon." Atsuko looked at her. "How can you be so sure?"

"A mother knows," Yumi said simply before leaving. Atsuko looked back out into the distance, and she gasped when she saw her husband and soldiers heading this way. She jumped off the porch and ran to them. "Yu!"

Yuuta was walking on crushes but when he saw his wife, he dropped them and tried to run to her. "Atsuko!!" He ran into her arms and kissed her lips. "I have missed you!"

Atsuko had tears in her eyes. "I missed you too." They kissed again when Yuuta suddenly pulled away. "Yoshi?" Atsuko chuckled. "He's amazing."

"Where is he?"

"He's staying with my friend today, but he should be home soon...Yu?" Atsuko said when she saw one of the soldiers carrying a little boy. "Who's that?" Yuuta had almost forgotten. "Atsuko, this is Saki...I...found him abandoned during the war." Atsuko could tell that Yuuta was lying but the look he gave her told her that he will tell her everything later.

Atsuko nodded and took the boy away from the soldier, with a smile. He could not be more than 2 years old, one year younger than Yoshi. "Hello, Saki, welcome to your new home." The boy just blinked at her, and she chuckled. "Not much of a talker, is he? I'm not sure he'll get along with Yoshi then. You wouldn't believe how much he talks now...and screams when he throws tantrums."

Atsuko said before tickling the boy's side, making him slightly smile. "He is a cute one, though. Who could have made such a cute boy like you?"

Yuuta sighed. "You have no idea..."

...

After that, Yuuta told Atsuko everything about the war, about Keiji and Miyoko. Atsuko glanced over to the two-year-old who was napping on their bed and frowned. Now she understands why Yuuta lied. "We can't tell anyone that he is the son of Keiji and Miyoko, they'll never accept him if they know he's Foot."

"So...you are ok with keeping him?" Yuuta asked and Atsuko smiled while rubbing the boy's head. "Of course, I am, we were planning on having more children in the near future anyway, right?"

Yuuta smiled then frowned. Atsuko noticed. "Yuuta?"

"Did you get it. The letter?"

Atsuko did not respond for a moment then looked down angrily. "Yes, I did. How could you send that to me?! How could you basically tell me that you were giving up?!"

"I am sorry, my love but..." Yuuta trailed off, not knowing what to say. He knows he must have scared his wife badly and he did not know what to say to make it up to her. "You could have died just by thinking that way, Yuuta," Atsuko added.

"You were not there...I was not sure if I would make it back, like I promised."

"But you did," Atsuko said going to sit next to him. "And now the Foot is finally gone, and you can take time." Yuuta looked down. "I do not have much choice, my leg- doctor says I might have a limp for the rest of my life. I am going to have to walk on a cane like an old man." Atsuko softened a little and put her hands on top of his. "I'm sorry, Yu but a messed-up leg is a low price compared to your life." Yuuta nodded in agreement, though he was still upset about his leg. Just then, someone came running into the bedroom but paused when he saw Yuuta. It was Yoshi.

Yoshi looked between them confused and Atsuko smiled. "Yoshi, this is your papa. Come say, hello." Yuuta bowed his head. "Hello, my son, you have grown since the last time I saw you."

Yoshi backed away shyly and ran out of the room. "Yoshi!" Atsuko called but Yoshi ignored her. Atsuko sighed and looked at Yuuta who looked a bit disappointed. "He's a bit shy but he will warm up to you eventually. Trust me."

...

Few weeks later,

Yoshi was still not talking to Yuuta, but Yuuta always catches him spying on him, eyeing his every move. The good news is, he and Saki seemed to hit it off quite well. Yoshi loves having a little brother to finally play with, even though the two were complete opposites, they got along great. Yoshi was a bit of a wildcard of a child. Saki on the other hand, was a very calm child, very quiet, and liked to keep to himself.

"Saki!" Yoshi called as Saki was coloring something on the ground. "Look!" He showed Saki a wallet. "What's 'sat?" He asked while pointing at the wallet. "Don't know but there' stuff in it." Yoshi replied before he poured out the wallet, money, cards, and coins went all over the floor.

Saki picked up a gold card. "Shiny." Yoshi nodded and picked up one too before putting it in his mouth, but he immediately spat it out. "Yuck!" Saki followed his brother's lead and got similar results. "Ew!"

Yoshi chuckled at him and just then, Yuuta walked in, gasping when he saw his money on the floor. "Boys! What are you doing?!" Yoshi and Saki both jumped when he scolded them, not realizing he was there. Yuuta picked up his wallet, cards, money, and coins before looking at them sternly. "Which of you did this?"

Saki pointed at Yoshi and Yoshi glared at him while Yuuta looked at his son sternly. "Yoshi, these are not toys. This is money, and you can not play with them. You are never to go through my things without permission, do you understand?"

Yoshi didn't answer, he didn't even look at him, he just scowled at the ground. Yuuta hated that he was basically a stranger to Yoshi, but it couldn't be helped. He sighed and patted his son's head, but Yoshi slapped it away while backing up.

Yuuta just sighed again. "Yoshi, you can not avoid me forever. I am your father, you are going to have to talk to me eventually." Yoshi just stubbornly scowled at him, and Yuuta shook his head while getting up. "Alright then."

He left and Yoshi watched him go before deciding to follow him. "Where you going?" Saki asked. "No where!" Yoshi snapped before leaving and following his father down the hall.

Yuuta went inside the training room, not noticing that Yoshi was peeking through the door. Yuuta then put down his cane and grabbed his sword. He went to the center of the room and stood in a fighting stance. He did a few katas as Yoshi watched in amazement. Yuuta tried to make a leap but when he landed on his foot, pain shot up his leg and he fell.

Yoshi gasped but Yuuta didn't seem to notice. He was just sitting on the ground, panting and looking sad. Yoshi frowned, feeling bad for him and he slowly went into the room. Yuuta looked at him. "Yoshi? What are you doing in here?"

Yoshi didn't answer and Yuuta didn't expect him to, but then, Yoshi grabbed Yuuta's sword and put it in his hands before looking up at him. "Do it again." Yuuta blinked. "You wish for me to do it again?"

Yoshi nodded.

Yuuta hummed as an idea struck him. "Would you like to do it with me?" Yoshi's eyes sparkled and he grinned while nodding. Yuuta nodded. "Alright then." He handed his son a little wooden sword and told him to copy his movements.

Yoshi did so, he was a little awkward at first, but he eventually copied his father with little struggle. Yuuta was just doing the basics, but he can already tell that Yoshi has potential and he couldn't wait to see the day when he reaches it.

Once they were done, Yuuta looked down at Yoshi. "That was ninjutsu, if you like, I can teach you more tomorrow." Yuuta said and Yoshi smiled at him. "Can Saki do it too?!" Yuuta shook his head. "Not yet he is still quite young but maybe next year."

Yoshi nodded and did the most unexpected thing. He ran up and hugged his father's leg. "Thank you, papa!" Yuuta felt his heart cringe, that was the first time Yoshi had called him, "Papa." Yuuta hesitated, only for a moment then patted his son's head. "You are welcome, my son."

...

In the middle of the night, little Saki was moaning and tossing in bed, next to Yoshi who was snoring away while Atsuko and Yuuta were lying close beside each of them. Yuuta was lying on his back, sleeping peacefully when little feet began to kick his shoulder, his eyes opened, and he looked from the corner of his eye to see Saki crying in his sleep. Yuuta was awake now. He sat up and shook Atsuko awake who had a protective arm around Yoshi. Atsuko groaned and cracked open her eyes. "What?"

"It is Saki," Yuuta said and suddenly, Atsuko was alert, her mother instincts kicking in as she sat up and crawled over a little to Saki. She picked up the sleeping crying child and cradled him in her arms. "Saki-san. Sh-shh, it is alright aka-chan." She tried to soothe but still, Saki would not settle.

Atsuko glanced at Yuuta worriedly as she began to rock Saki in her arms. Yuuta stood completely helpless, unsure of what to do while Yoshi was starting to moan, from the sudden noise. "Mama? He called, in a sleepy tone as he opened his eyes. Atsuko turned her head to him and rubbed his head. "Shh, go back to sleep, aka-chan."

Yoshi noticed his distressed brother and slowly sat up, crocking his head. "Whas wrong with Sak?" Finally, Saki snapped open his eyes, in a choked sob and Atsuko quickly tried to calm him. "Shh, Saki-san, it is alright. You are safe."

Somehow, seeing Atsuko and Yuuta seemed to upset Saki more. He began to wail, startling Yoshi and the two parents. Atsuko frowned and realized that Saki had no reason to feel safe with them. It was not that long ago when they took him in and adopted him. True, Saki is young, and could not possibly understand what is going on but even he could not forget the parents he once had that fast. The parents who birthed him, took care of him and made him feel safe.

Atsuko has no reason to believe that the Orokus were loving parents but even so, a parent is a child's comfort, even if that said parent is a horrible one. The Orokus were all that Saki knew while they were complete strangers to him. As much as Atsuko already felt emotionally attached with Saki, she could not expect him to feel the same that fast.

Taking him in was what was best, she and her husband both knew. They could not just abandon the poor child, whether he is the blood of the Foot or not. If Yuuta did not take him in, the poor child would have died, along with his parents but even so, Atsuko could not help but feel guilty. She believed the Orokus deserved what they got, and she does not feel an ounce of remorse for them, she is just sorry that their innocent child had to get punished too.

Looking at her husband's face, she knew he felt the same and knew that he possibly felt more guilt. After all, he had been the one who ended Oroku Keiji and Miyoko's life. Were they being naive and foolish? To think that they could be a family to a child that was not even theirs? A family to a child of their enemy for that matter? Maybe they had not thought about this enough...

...

Next morning,

Since her son and daughter-in-law have still not woken up, Yumi decided to be useful and begin preparing breakfast. Mashimi came in as soon as he smelled food cooking but he raised a brow when he only saw his mother. "Where are Yuuta and Atsuko?"

"I believe they are still in bed," Yumi replied as she began to fry some eggs and race. "Yuuta? Sleeping in?" Mashimi said in disbelief and Yumi smiled. "Well, he has only come home from a long time of war, Mashimi. It is understandable."

Before Mashimi could respond, they heard heavy footsteps coming and they looked to see Yuuta and Atsuko, with their eyes barely open. "What happened to the two of you?" Mashimi asked with a slight amused smile. Atsuko sighed as she sat Yoshi down on his chair. "Saki kept us up all night. He was having nightmares and when he woke up, he just would not stop crying. It took us forever to get him to settle down."

"Oh, the poor thing. Where is he?" Yumi asked, concerned. "He is still asleep," Yuuta answered as he sat down as well and began to seep his tea. Atsuko sat down next to him, looking down at her hands thoughtfully and Yuuta immediately took notice. "What is wrong, Atsuko?"

Atsuko frowned and hestated for a while then looked at her husband with sad eyes. "Yuuta...do you think we made a mistake?" Yuuta did not seem to understand. "What do you mean?"

"With Saki. Was it really wise of us to...take him in?" Yuuta scowled. "I thought you were alright with it."

"I am," Atsuko insisted. "But he had a family before us, Yuuta. He still remembers them. To him, we are complete strangers. He doesn't know us, and I'm not sure if he will ever consider us...his parents."

"He will," Yuuta said certainly. "He is young Atsuko. He will soon not remember his birth parents. All he will know is us."

"Yuuta, I believe we are in a more complicated situation than that," Atsuko admitted. "Think about it. What if he is older and starts asking questions? We are the reason his real parents are dead, Yuuta. What are we supposed to tell him when he's older?"

"Nothing," Yuuta said firmly, and Atsuko looked taken aback. "Nothing?"

"We agreed to not tell him," Yuuta said, and Atsuko shook her head. "No. We agreed to not tell the clan, but we didn't agree to not tell Saki the truth when he is older."

"Atsuko, we can not tell him."

"Why not?" Atsuko asked.

"Because if we do, he will grow to hate us," Yuuta stated and Atsuko frowned, knowing that was very likely. "Saki is our son and only ours, that is all he will ever know," Yuuta added as he stood. "I will eat my breakfast later, mother. I must go check something."

Yumi nodded and Atsuko watched as her husband took off, with a sullen face. As soon as he was out of sight, Atsuko rested her chin on her hand and stared out the window as little Yoshi was coloring on a piece of paper he got out of a drawer while his parents were talking. Yumi glanced at her and looked at her youngest son. "Mashimi, why don't you take Yoshi outside to play. Breakfast will not be done for a little while."

Mashimi wanted to quickly protest but shut his mouth immediately when his mother looked at him sternly. He sighed and slowly stood on his feet. "Come on, Yoshi. I will play tag with you."

Yoshi's face brightened up at that and he sprinted out of his chair, grabbing his uncle's hand while pulling him, trying to rush him outside. Yumi smiled at the sight and when she heard the door close, she covered the hot pot, making sure to keep the food warm before going to sit next to Atsuko. "Are you alright, dear?"

Atsuko got startled out of her thoughts and glanced at Yumi. "Okaasan...what would you do if you were in this situation?" Yumi hummed in thought. "I am not sure...this is very unique. Back in my day, no one would have mercy on the enemy, not even the enemy's child." Atsuko frowned at that as Yumi continued, "I believe only you and Yuuta can know what the right thing is to do in this situation with Saki."

Atsuko's eyes went downcast. "As much as I hate to admit it, Yuuta does have a point. If we tell Saki the truth, he might see us as the monsters we claimed the Orokus to be but if we don't, will that make it worse? I just don't know what the right thing is. Maybe it was a mistake for us to adopt Saki, maybe we should have found another family for him or taken him to be cared for somewhere else."

"Do you really want to do that?" Yumi asked as she gently took her daughter-in-law's hand. Atsuko shut her eyes and shook her head. "No, I have already grown to love him but I'm worried for him. I am worried that there will always be this hole inside his heart, that Yuuta and I will never be able to fill because we are not his real parents. I'm worried he will always feel like an outcast in the family, and I am worried what will happen if he ever finds out that we are the reason his parents are not here."

Yumi thought over her daughter-in-law's words, understanding her worries. "Perhaps...I could help."

"How?"

"You and Yuuta take Yoshi out to the park while I watch over Saki," Yumi said simply as she got up and went back to the stove. Atsuko raised a brow, but she knew better than to question her mother-in-law further. She got up to do what she was told while Yumi thought over how she would get Saki to warm up to them.

...

Later,

"Yoshi, don't you wonder off too far!" Atsuko reminded as Yoshi ran ahead of his parents to the park. Atsuko sighed and shook her head when Yoshi simply ignored her, continuing his play. "Why did my mother want to be alone with Saki?" Yuuta asked her as they walked after Yoshi, their arms hooked together (and not just because they are a happy married couple but also because Yuuta was still getting used to walking around with a limp).

"I don't know," Atsuko admitted softly. "She just said that she wanted to help and asked us to leave."

"But what can she do that we have not?" Yuuta asked and Atsuko simply just shrugged. "Mama! Papa!" The two turned their attention to Yoshi who was standing by a swing set with an excited look on his face. "Push me!"

"Yoshi, what do we say when we want something?" Atsuko said as soon as she and Yuuta came to Yoshi. "PLEASE!" Yoshi shouted, jumping on his heels impatiently. Atsuko chuckled. "Alright, my son." She then picked up Yoshi and sat him on one of the swings while he giggled excitedly. She looked to her husband. "Do you want to push him, papa?"

"Well..."

"Push me, Papa!" Yoshi exclaimed and Yuuta sighed. "I suppose for a little while," He said as he went behind Yoshi and began pushing him, as soon as he did, little Yoshi's laughs grew louder. Yuuta looked to his amused looking wife with a raised brow. "What does he find so amusing about this?"

Atsuko snorted. "He is three years old Yuuta. He easily gets amused and excited."

"Higher, Papa! Higher!" Yoshi demanded and Yuuta looked a bit unsure. "If you go any higher, you might fall."

"No, I won't!" Yoshi insisted. "Please, papa!" Yuuta frowned. "You can push him higher, Yuuta," Atsuko assured and with a little hesitation, Yuuta pushed harder and got startled when Yoshi screamed but calmed down when he swung back laughing madly. "Mama, look how high I am!"

Atsuko laughed, "I see you, Yoyo! You are almost flying!" Yoshi giggled at that, and Yuuta could not help but smile also. He had never seen Yoshi this happy since he came back from war and Atsuko looked relaxed for the first time in a while. It was kind of nice, hearing laughter and seeing smiles instead of thousands of bloodsheds. Yuuta frowned as he thought about it, it was not his first war, but he hoped it would be the last.

Honestly, he should be happy. He did what his father and his father before him could not. He ended the Foot for good and yet...he does not feel happy or proud. He remembers feeling this way, after his first time fighting in war. He had succeeded, yes but was it really over? Just because the Foot is gone, does not mean other threats are. Ones who may have been allies with the Foot. Even though everything is quiet for now...does not mean it will stay that way. It never stays that way. There is always a quiet before a storm...always.

"Papa?" Yoshi's voice called him out of his thoughts, and he looked to see Yoshi looking at him over his shoulder with a frown. He looked a bit worried as did Atsuko and Yuuta cursed himself for showing his vulnerability. He knew better than this. He needed to be strong, he could not show any weakness, for his sake and his family's. Yuuta cleared his throat. "I am sorry, my son. Shall we continue?"

Yoshi beamed. "Yeah!"

Yuuta nodded and began pushing Yoshi again, as he did, he wondered how long it would take before Yoshi learned the cruelness of the world. For Yuuta, he learned at a very early age as did Atsuko, war seemed never ending as they were growing up, but Yoshi does not have to fear that for now. There was no more war for him to witness, therefore, it might take longer for him to realize the dangers. That the world is not all rainbows and sunshine. Yuuta, however, does not mind that as much as he should. As much as he wants Yoshi to be aware, he also did not want him to know just yet.

For now, Yuuta was content letting him be simply a child for a little longer, laughing as the wind blew on his face as he swung up into the air and smiling as he swung back down, loving both his parents' attention.

"Having fun at the park, my love?" Atsuko asked with a smirk. Yuuta looked at her and smiled slightly. "Yes, I am."

...

At the dojo,

Saki was walking down the stairs, rubbing his tired eyes and looking all around for Yoshi but did not see him anywhere. He frowned. His brother was the only one he felt comfortable around and without him, Saki did not know what to do with himself.

Saki went into the kitchen, hoping to find his brother in there but unfortunately, he was not, only Hamato Yumi. Yumi turned and smiled at him. "Good morning, Saki. You have been sleeping for a long time, I was starting to worry."

Saki stood silent and looked down at his feet. Yumi smiled at the action. "Would you like breakfast?" Saki looked at her and gave a simple nod. "Alright. Sit down and I will cook you a fried egg, how does that sound?"

Again, Saki stood silent and did what he was told to do. Yumi sighed, a little disappointed, then got to work. Saki watched her cook and Yumi smiled at his curiously, it reminded her a lot of Yuuta when he was younger. Always watching and observing. When Yumi was done cooking the egg, she put it in a tiny bowl and put it in front of Saki. "There you go."

Saki looked at her then the egg before grabbing his fork and eating it. Yumi sat across from him and watched him eat, smiling. They sat in silence for a long time until Saki noticed her staring and froze, looking at her confused. Yumi took the chance to speak, "Saki...do you know who I am?"

Saki stood silently confused as Yumi waited for any kind of response. Yumi knows that Saki is silent around them because he did understand who they were to him, they were complete strangers. But Yumi figured, instead of waiting for Saki to understand on his own, why not try to make him understand?

After Saki continued to refuse to say anything, Yumi spoke up again. "I am your grandmother or Sobo, as Yoshi likes to call me." Saki just looked even more confused and Yumi sighed before grabbing a family picture that was just recently taken after Yuuta's return. It was a picture of Yuuta, Atsuko, and the boys, wearing their best kimonos.

Yumi showed Saki the picture and pointed. "Do you know who this is?" She pointed to Yoshi, who had a mean scowl on his face because he hated having to dress up. "Yo'i" Saki finally replied softly.

"Yoshi, yes!" Yumi said, laughing slightly at the way Saki said his name. "And who is this?" She pointed to Atsuko, who was smiling as she held the mean looking Yoshi and Saki in her arms. Saki frowned, unsure but guessed. "Ako?"

Yumi chuckled. "Yes, her name is Atsuko, but do you know who she is to you?" Saki shook his head. "She is your mama." Saki scowled in confusion as Yumi moved on. "How about this man? Do you know who he is?"

Saki stared at the serious Yuuta who was standing next to his wife. Saki stared at him a moment longer then slowly shook his head. He recognized the man; he saw him every day, but he has yet to learn his name. He is usually around Yoshi all the time and Atsuko is the one who takes care of them, but Yuuta is usually all alone in the dojo.

"This is Yuuta," Yumi said. "He is your papa."

Saki's scowl deepened and he looked at Yumi who sighed. This was not working out as she had hoped. She thought this would help Saki understand but clearly, telling him that they were now his family was not enough. Yumi set the picture down and looked at Saki. "Saki, I know you are having a hard time understanding but..." Yumi put a gentle hand on his cheek, guiding him to look her in the eyes and gave him a loving smile. "We love you. I know you are too young to really understand what I am telling you, but I just needed to tell you. You are a Hamato now and we look out for each other, we will never do anything to harm you."

Yumi then removed her hand as Saki looked at her with an unreadable expression. Yumi just gave him one last smile before taking a sip of her tea. Then...Saki did the most unpredictable thing. "Sobo?"

Yumi gasped and looked at Saki in shock. "S-Saki, did...did you just say...?"

"...Sobo," Saki said again, his face unsure but his voice with a hint of hope and Yumi quickly jumped to her feet, going to Saki and giving him a tight hug. "You did! You called me Sobo! Good boy, Saki, good boy!"

...

Back at the park,

After hours of play, the two couples decided to rest for a bit and sat on a bunch, enjoying the moment of silence as Yoshi played with his small action figure but he soon grew bored after a while and looked to his father. "Papa?"

Yuuta turned to him. "Hm?"

"How come you walk funny?"

Atsuko snapped her head at her son then looked at her husband sadly and Yuuta raised a hand to silence her. They both knew that Yoshi did not mean to be rude, he was simply just being curious as children are and Yuuta could understand his curiosity. He turned his body to face him and sighed. "Do you know why I was away for so long, Yoshi?"

"Mama said it was 'cause you were protecting us and the clan." Yuuta nodded. "That is right. I was gone fighting a bad man who wanted to hurt us, his name was Oroku Keiji and he was the leader of another clan, called the Foot Clan."

"The Foot Clan?" Yoshi echoed. "Yes, they were a very bad clan that had no sense of honor or mercy. They have been enemies with us for a very, very long time and I went to put an end to it." Yuuta sighed deeply and looked down at his bad leg. "As a result, my leg got badly injured and now, I can never walk normally again."

"It won't get better?" Yoshi asked, feeling bad for his father and Yuuta shook his head. "No. It will not." Yoshi looked down in thought then back up at him. "Can you still be a ninja?"

Yuuta nodded. "Yes, I can. It is just going to take some adjusting with my leg."

"But how can you fight if your leg is hurt?" Yoshi asked while pointing at his bad leg and Yuuta put a hand on his head. "We choose what holds us back and what moves us forward, my son. My leg may hold me back a little, but I refuse to allow that to stop me."

"Oh..." Yoshi was not certain if he understood or not, but he pretended to anyway. Atsuko smiled and picked him up as she stood. "Come on, you two, it's time to go home."

"Aww!" Yoshi whined and pouted. "But I don't wanna go!" Atsuko grinned mischievously at her son before cradling him in one arm and attacking his belly with tickles, making him burst into laughter. "Hours at the park were not enough for you?! You want to play more? Very well, I will play with you then!"

"No, no!" Yoshi begged through his laughter. "Not that, please!"

"Then do you want to go home, it's the only way I will stop?" Atsuko taunted as she continued to tickle her son, holding him firm as he squirmed. "Ok, ok! I want to go home!"

Atsuko smiled and placed her son back on her hip while kissing his cheek. She looked to her husband, who looked like he was trying to hold back a smile. "Are you ready, my love?" She asked while holding out her free hand to him and he gently took it, allowing her to help pull him to his feet before they began to walk home to the dojo. Silently, both Atsuko and Yuuta were hoping that when they returned, Yumi had successfully helped their situation with Saki.

...

Later,

"Okaasan!" Atsuko called as soon as she and her husband walked in. "Sak'i!" Yoshi called, wanting to play with his brother. Yuuta raised a brow when he did not see his mother or his youngest son anywhere. "Where are they?"

Just then, Yumi came out with Saki in her arms, smiling. "I am sorry, I was changing Saki when you came in. Did you all have fun?"

"I went high on the swings!" Yoshi exclaimed and his parents smiled at him. "That is very good, Yoshi," Yumi said as Yuuta patted his son's head. "Yes, I believe we all had a nice time. How did everything go with Saki?"

Yumi smiled. "Well...there is something Saki wishes to say to you." Atsuko and Yuuta glanced at each other as Yumi placed Saki down. Saki looked up at them shyly, but Yumi gently pushed him forward. "Go on, Saki." Saki slowly walked up to Yuuta and Atsuko as they stared down at him patiently. Saki then looked up at them, meeting their eyes, shyly. "...M-Mama? Papa?"

Atsuko and Yuuta stood frozen in shock, letting out a surprise gasp. Atsuko was the first to snap out of it and she grinned as she scooped Saki up, holding him over her head. "Saki! You called me Mama!" She cheered as she kissed him numerous times on the cheek. "I'm so, so proud of you!"

Yuuta smiled as well and patted the boy's head while Saki just smiled at them. He then noticed Yoshi who was staring at them curiously and pointed. "Brother!" He said, not so unsurely as he did with Yumi, Atusko, and Yuuta. He sounded 100% sure when he said it and Yoshi chuckled at him and said, "Brother!" as well.

Atsuko shared a warm smile with Yuuta, both feeling like things from here on out were going to be alright.
