[Location: Orario, Hestia Familia residence.]

After Link woke up from his nap, he headed upstairs and went to the dining table, where he was welcomed by the presence of a white haired person around his (physical) age.

"Oh! You must be our new member in the Familia, nice to meet you." The white haired boy replied as he reached out to shake Link's hand.

"The goddess told me about you this morning…Oh! Where are my manners? My name is Bell Cranel."

Link shakes the white-haired boy's hand. "I'm Link, it's also nice to meet you Bell."

The Hylian looked around trying to locate Hestia, but to no avail.

"Oh! Our goddess will be absent for three days, due to a meeting between the gods, I think…that's what I understood hehe." The adventurer explained as he scratched his left cheek with a finger somewhat embarrassed.

"I see..." Link whispered wondering how many gods were in this world, and what were their roles in it.

The boy in green was about to get lost in his thoughts, but Bell snapped him out of his trance. "Hey, since we are from the same Familia, I wanted to ask you a favor…do you think you could accompany me to a bar that is in the center of the city?…I left without paying and I want to go and apologize…but the owner of the place she scares me and I don't want to be alone while I talk to her…"

Link listened to the adventurer's request, and giving a sigh he replied "Okay Bell I'll accompany you, besides…I was planning to find a place to have breakfast anyway."

Upon hearing his companion's words, Bell's eyes lit up and he joyfully left the chapel accompanied by Link, who took his sword and shield before heading out the door.

[Location: Orario, Hostess of fertility.]

"I'm so sorry I left without paying the bill! Here is the money please forgive me! It will not happen again!!" Those were the words of the white-haired boy addressed to the boss of the establishment, while he bowed apologetically and handed over a bag of valis.

The hero of Hyrule could only describe the scene in front of him as: 'awkward and embarrassing'.

The dwarf took the bag of money and with a smug face she said: "At least you had the decency to go back to pay, anyway if you hadn't come back with the money, it would have gone for your head boy."

Link could see how Bell paled at the dwarf's words, before a silver-haired girl dressed as a maid interrupted the "conversation".

"B-Bell I feel bad about what happened yesterday, so I want to give you this little lunch that I prepared for you, c-courtesy of the house..." the maid said somewhat embarrassed as she handed Bell a sandwich wrapped like a gift.

"T-Thank you Syr, that's very kind of you..." Bell said a bit nervous.

Syr retreated towards the kitchen leaving dwarf alone with the two boys.

The owner of the place made sure that Syr did not hear her and she dedicated the following words to the adventurer. "Let me tell you something boy, if Syr didn't like you so much yesterday I would have gone looking for you and then smash your face."

Bell swallowed at those words, but the dwarf laughed a little at his reaction.

"Listen kid, don't grieve about your current power, these things take time and you should be proud to come back alive from the dunegon every day, not everyone has the same luck." After finishing her little speech, the owner withdrew to open the bar.

Link saw how Bell remained deep on his thoughts looking at the ground, so to calm the atmosphere down a bit, he approached to him and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Bell, not everyone is capable of great feats on their first try, everyone has to push themselves until they are fully achieved."

The words of his companion brought the white-haired boy out of his trance, and he felt inspired. "Thanks Link, I appreciate your words."

The Hylian smiled and asked. "What is the best dish in this place? And what is our budget?

"Well..."

Hours later

[Location: Orario, Dungeon-Floor 05]

"I still can't believe I forgot to tell Hestia to give me a…uuh…what did you call it again? Fauna? Kaina?" Link asked as he blocked a War Shadow's attack with the mirror shield.

"Falna! It's called Falna! Waah!" Bell yelled while dodging a Killer Ant's attack, before stabbing it on the head with his knife.

Link parried two War Shadow's attack with his shield, and then he performed a spin attack, killing the two War Shadows and some nearby monster.

"Whatever! Also why didn't she give it to me yester-BELL BEHIND YOU!"

Bell turned to see what was happening, a giant Killer Ant was about to deliver a powerful bite to Bell. Before that thing could fit its fangs into the white-haired boy, his head was pierced by an arrow, killing the insect instantly.

The Argonaut turned to the direction where the arrow was shot and saw his green-robed friend holding a bow (which he has no idea where he got it from).

"Phew...that was close, thanks Link." Bell said as Link gave him a hand to get up off the ground.

"You're welcome…phew…so you do this every day? Not bad if you ask me." Said the hero of Hyrule as he checked the perimeter. "I think we cleared this floor of monsters."

"It seems like it...I honestly don't think I could have done this alone..." Bell said as he picked up the magic stones left behind by the monsters.

"Hey, don't say that, anyone would have had a hard time doing this alone, so don't worry about your current strength." Link replied as he too picked up several magic stones.

"Changing the subject, how much do you think the guild will give us for all this?" the Hylian asked.

"Hmm...looking at the size and amount of magic stones we have...I'm guessing about...10,000 valis...I'm not sure." The Argonaut responded somewhat thoughtfully.

Link put his bow in his pouch and put his sword and shield away, as he walked towards the exit of the 5th floor. "I think we should go back, I think we've done enough for today…"

Bell followed Link towards the exit, but he couldn't help but ask him a question.

"Link, where did you learn to fight like that?"

The boy in green stopped his tracks, suddenly an eerie silence manifested in the environment.

Link remained motionless for several seconds until he responded without even turning to see his partner. "In a land…victim of the ambition of a cruel and selfish monster…"

Bell looked at Link in silence for a few seconds, until he walked back towards the exit, leaving him with many questions.

[Location: adventurer's guild.]

"The magic stones received, equal to a total of 17,000 valis, congratulations here is your reward." Ms. Eina said as she handed over a rather large valis bag to Bell.

Bell was too excited, it was the first time for him to get such amount of valis for magic stones obtained in the dungeon. He owed all this to Link, who was doing…damage to a specific store.

"HEY KID WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!? STOP BREAKING MY MERCHANDISE!!" Shouted a street vendor, who watched as his merchandise was destroyed by a green dressed boy.

*CRASH*

"STOP!! LEAVE MY POTS ALONE!!" Said the merchant, while beginning to cry, seeing his precious pots being destroyed by the "hero" of Hyrule.

"..."

Bell deadpanned at the scene, he walked towards Link and began to drag him away from the pot's shop while pulling his pointy ears.

"Ow! Ok I'm sorry! I couldn't help it! Please stop pulling my ears they're sensitive!" Exclaimed Link in pain.

Bell let go of his friend's ears, and looked at him worriedly. "What's your problem with pots?"

Link looked at the ground in defeat before answering. "There could be anything inside…"

"..."

"..."

"…Link…I think you have a problem…"

A/N: This is the end of chapter two, sorry if it was shorter than the previous one but I had to make an ' In between' before the monster festival (which name I forgot). Please let me know in the comments if you like the story so far, and if you wish me to continue.

Once again I apologize for any grammatical errors since English is not my first language.

Hope you comment and see ya next time. :)
