Heres the second half of the double as promised. Like I said before, shit gets dark real quick here. Enjoy.

Harry never knew whether or not he had actually dropped off to sleep - his fantasies of flying like Krum might well have slipped into actual dreams - all he knew was that, quite suddenly, Sirius was shouting.

"Get up! Hermione, Harry - come on now, get up, this is urgent!"

Harry sat up quickly and the top of his head hit canvas.

"'S' matter?" he said.

Dimly, he could tell that something was wrong. The noises in the campsite had changed. The singing had stopped. He could hear screams, and the sound of people running.

Thankful he had fallen asleep in his clothes, he checked to be sure he had his wand and followed Sirius out of the tent with Hermione right behind him.

By the light of the few fires that were still burning, he could see people running away into the woods, fleeing something that was moving across the field toward them, something that was emitting odd flashes of light and noises like gunfire. Loud jeering, roars of laughter, and drunken yells were drifting toward them; then came a burst of strong green light, which illuminated the scene.

A crowd of wizards, tightly packed and moving together with wands pointing straight upward, was marching slowly across the field. Harry squinted at them. . . . They didn't seem to have faces. . . . Then he realized that their heads were hooded and their faces masked. High above them, floating along in midair, four struggling figures were being contorted into grotesque shapes. It was as though the masked wizards on the ground were puppeteers, and the people above them were marionettes operated by invisible strings that rose from the wands into the air. Two of the figures were very small.

A moment later the Weasleys came running up, mostly still dressed in their pajamas. Harry was thankful currently that they had got a lot near to their own.

"Arthur! What in the hell is going on here?" Sirius yelled out over the noise.

"Not sure, it just woke us all up!" Arthur returned.

"We need to help!" Harry added in.

"No you need to-" Arthur started but was cut off.

"I'm staying and fighting!" Harry yelled back. Hermione silently stepped closer to him, signifying that she also wouldn't be leaving.

"He's fine Arthur, he'll be with me! Percy, get everyone to the woods and hide! Arthur, you need to go find some people from the ministry; we'll hold them off!" Sirius stepped in and barked out orders as if he hadn't been out of the auror core for more than a decade. His commanding voice left no room for argument, and everyone hurried to their assigned task.

Sirius, Harry, and Hermione ran forward and confronted the crowd, soliciting a laugh from several of them.

"Like one man and a couple of kids stands a chance against us!"

"Release the muggles and drop your wands, this is your only warning!" Sirius yelled as he trained his wand on the group; Harry and Hermione drawing on them also.

"Oh, we'll release them alright." The lead man said with a chuckle before one of the muggles dropped from his spot in the air and hit the ground face first with a sickening crunch.

As soon as the muggle began his fall a burst of red light shot out of Sirius' wand towards the crowd. The light missed the first man but hit another behind him, blasting the group into several different directions. "Engage them, but watch your crossfire there are innocents around!"

Two of the remaining muggles were dropped when the caster holding them up was knocked down by Sirius' spell. Hermione was quick to cast a cushioning charm on the one closest to her but wasn't able to get the other child; she landed much like the first with a sickening thud and moved no more. Hermione wanted to vomit. It was taking all of her willpower not to get sick at the sight of two muggles being murdered so carelessly.

The last muggle was then launched through the air directly at her by one of the masked men. She cast a cushioning charm once again, but it did little more than slow the body down before it plowed into her and knocked her to the ground unconscious.

"Hermione!" Harry roared as he watched his best friend get attacked. He turned towards the source and yelled out "Confringo!". His aim was true, and the spell hit the man who had thrown the body square in the chest, punching a hole through his torso big enough to put a quaffle through. He dropped to the ground obviously dead before Harry turned to the next one.

"Diffindo!" This masked man was much more prepared; he batted the spell away with his wand before shooting his own spell at Harry.

Harry managed to jump to the side and dodge the spell before casting another confringo. Once again, the spell was true and the man had to leap aside to avoid it. It hit the ground right behind him blasting apart the earth and pelting the man with jagged rocks. Before he had a chance to recover Harry hit him with a stupefy and watched him slump to the floor.

Harry looked up now that he was given reprieve to see Sirius in good shape. He was easily holding his own against three of the masked attackers and Harry could see at least a couple of bodies on the ground nearby, not sure if they were dead or unconscious. He then turned back to Hermione to go help her just in time to see her jerked out of her spot.

"Accio mudblood!" One of the men shouted as they began to run away from the remaining crowd. Harry immediately started chasing them but was afraid to fire a spell due to Hermione's proximity.

"Harry! Goddammit Harry!" Sirius yelled out but it was too late. Harry was gone and he was unable to escape from the fight he was engaged in.

The masked man with Hermione stopped a distance away in a small clearing left from the tents that had been blown away. "Die filthy mudblood! Avada" he never got to finish the sentence as his body was wracked with unimaginable pain. He screamed out and crumpled to the floor in a heap, still screaming.

"Crucio!" Harry had yelled out, cutting the man off before he could finish the killing curse. He had already lost one of his best friends and he wouldn't allow it to happen again; the hatred he felt for the man trying to murder Hermione was immense and the Cruciatus was the first thing that came to mind. He hit the man with it and watched with dark satisfaction as he crumpled to the ground writhing in pain. The man needed to suffer; perhaps it would make him think twice before he messed with Harry Potter again. He held the curse for a moment more before dropping it, letting the man mercifully pass out. "Incarcerous." Harry said as the ropes shot out of his wand and bound the man before turning his attention to Hermione once again. "Rennervate."

Hermione stirred a moment before looking around confused. It took but a second before she remembered what had happened and latched around Harry's neck with a bone crushing hug eliciting a slight blush from him. "Harry I'm so glad you're okay!" Harry returned the hug after just a second before breaking apart.

"You need to stay hidden. I'm going back to check on Sirius."

Hermione opened her mouth to protest but he stopped her before she had a chance. "You're injured and in no shape to fight. Just get to the woods and find the Weasleys. Please."

Without another word she nodded and took off in a crouched run towards the tree line. Harry immediately started back the way he came from to check up on Sirius. About halfway back he heard a girl's voice screaming for help and turned down a row of tents to see what was happening.

What he stumbled on was a disgusting sight. One of the masked men had a young purple haired girl by the throat pinned up against the side of a tent. Her shirt had apparently been ripped already leaving her bare chested and the man was now grabbing at the button of her jeans. "Just how I like it, struggling and young! I'm gonna make you call me daddy you filthy whore!"

Harry's blood began to boil once again. The girl couldn't have been more than 17 and this man was trying to commit an act more heinous than murder on her.

The man now successfully had her jeans undone; he ripped them down to her ankles before slapping her so hard her head reeled back and forcing her to her knees. "Now I want you to suck daddy's cock and like it!" With that he undone his own pants but that was as far as he made it.

The girl let out another scream of surprise as she was splattered with blood and saw the mans head fall to the ground. She looked up to see a young man with an expression of rage on his face looking back at her.

"Are you okay miss…"

The girl was a mess but that was to be expected after what she had been through. Her right eye was swollen nearly shut and she had blood coming from her nose and mouth, watered down by the tears streaming down her face. She sniffled a bit before speaking. "Tonks. I-I'm fine." She barely got that out before she threw up. "Just surprised. He didn't do anything more than rough me up thanks to you."

Harry finally now noticed that the woman was standing before him with her pants around her ankles and her chest bare; despite the awful situation he couldn't help but think that she was beautiful, and he had to stifle a blush from popping up. "Here, put this on." He said as he pulled his own shirt off and handed it to her. She was a petit framed woman, so the shirt fit rather loose, but at least it protected what was left of her modesty.

As she reached out to take the shirt from him, he noticed her hair color changing from the dark purple to a hot pink color. It was an odd sight, but he didn't press the issue with her. "Are you here with anyone or are you alone?"

"I came alone. I had met up with some friends and was on my way back to my own tent when he attacked me. I've had a bit to drink, and he caught me off guard… I didn't even have a chance to defend myself. Thank you so much for helping me!" As she finished the last part, she wrapped him up in a tight hug and sobbed onto his shoulder. He stiffened briefly as he felt her barely covered chest press against him before rubbing her back trying to comfort her.

"I'm just sorry I didn't get here a bit sooner. I could have stopped him altogether.

"I'm just glad you came at all; I don't even want to think about what he was about to do to me. I owe you my life and I don't even know your name, sorry."

"Oh, I'm Harry Pot-"

"Harry Potter? THE Harry Potter. Harry Fucking Potter! I can't believe I got myself rescued by Harry-The-Boy-Who-Lived-Fucking-Potter. Oh merlin I've had a crush on you since I was a kid. Oh shit I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that." It was her turn now to blush as her hair turned a shade of red that would make any Weasley jealous. "It's just that my mom always read me those books about you and you're a fucking hero and all."

Merlin be damned how Harry hated those books. Plenty of ridicule and an equal number of younger girls with annoying crushes on him had spawned from the book series about him; This one happened to be not so young and quite pretty, mind you, but that was a moot point. Not to mention how ridiculous it was; he had the run in with Voldemort as a baby and as fate would have it, he became the only known survivor of the killing curse and killed the dark lord in the process. That much was true, but as the books told it he had single handedly killed a nundu by the time he was 5, slayed countless dragons, and rode a griffin bareback into the sunset, naked. With a veela clinging to his waist. He internally sighed.

"Yea… just so we're clear, those books are 'slightly' exaggerated." He performed air quotes around the slightly part.

"Of course, but they make you seem so noble and heroic, it's just hard for a little girl not to idolize you, ya know." She replied with a shrug.

"Anyhow, since you're here alone, would you like to come back to my camp until all this mess is sorted out? It's dangerous to be running around on your own right now."

"Uh yea, if you don't mind that is."

"Of course not, come on it's this way." He said before she grabbed his hand and allowed him to lead her off.

They hadn't made it very far when Harry heard a voice in the crowd holler out "Morsmordre!" before the sky was illuminated an eerie green as the clouds formed into a large skull with a snake entangled upon it. Harry quickened his pace to avoid another confrontation and shortly he was back in the clearing where it all began.

When the pair walked up, they found Sirius talking to a couple of aurors. The ground was littered with a few bodies; Harry wasn't sure if they were dead or simply unconscious though. "Harry! I'm glad to see you're okay, what the hell happened and where is Hermione and who is this?"

Before Harry had a chance to respond, Tonks beat him to it. "Holy shit, Sirius?"

Sirius turned to the girl questioningly for a moment before his face lit up. "I'll be damned, its little Nympha-"

"Don't you dare call me that! It's just Tonks or Dora."

"What the hell happened to you?"

"It's a long story and I would rather not talk about it." Tonks replied with a sullen expression.

"Okay then, Harry, where is Hermione and what happened?"

Harry proceeded to tell him what had happened with him since he chased after Hermione, leaving out the part about the cruciatus since there were aurors listening. "Where is Mr. Weasley?"

"After he returned with the aurors I sent him to check in on his family. We just witnessed the dark mark going up, the aurors reckon it may have been some ex death-eaters that just got too boozed up and were trying to relive the 'glory days' as it were."

"How many did they kill?" Harry asked.

"The four muggle campsite attendants and three of their children, and 3 wizards have been found dead so far. We killed five of theirs and captured several more, but several of them got away too."

Mentioning the dead attackers made Harry remember that he killed a couple of them too, and despite knowing that they were bad people and deserved it he still felt bad about having killed somebody.

He didn't have to contemplate long before he was brought out of his thoughts by the arrival of the Weasleys and Hermione, the latter running up to give him another bone crushing hug.

"Hermione! I'm glad everyone is okay."

"Yea, Shit got a little crazy there for a moment huh?" Sirius added on with a dry chuckle.

"So, Harry, I never got the chance to properly thank you for what you did for me at the World Cup." Tonks said as she walked into Harry's bedroom one evening. It had been a couple days since the incident and today was the first day since that she had been free. She hadn't been able to get the young man off of her mind. Part of her knew that it was just feeling thankful, but another part admitted that she had had a crush on the boy for years, and now a bit of hero worship to go along with it had her feeling confident enough in her feelings. Maybe he was a bit young, but by the time he graduated the 3 years difference wouldn't be that big a deal, if they lasted that long anyways.

The target of her affections was sitting in his bed, back propped against the wall, reading a book she failed to recognize. Upon hearing her he looked up from the book and smiled slightly. "Hey Tonks. Don't worry about it, anyone would have done the same. How are you doing?"

"I'm good, thanks. Mind if I come in?" She blushed slightly as she said the last

"Sure thing." Harry said as he closed his book and sat it on his nightstand before patting the spot beside him on the bed. "I wish I had better accommodations to offer you, but I suppose it'll do."

She stepped in and shut and locked the door. "Oh don't act like you and every other teenage boy in the world wouldn't be exited to have this-" she ran her hands up her thighs to her sides and finally her breasts, squeezing them together as she leaned forward and wiggled a bit. "in your bed." She smiled when she saw him squirm and his face turn beet red.

"I-I-I- I didn't m-m-mean it like that." Harry squeaked out, barely above a whisper. What I meant was-" He started but was interrupted as Tonks closed the distance between them and pressed her lips against his. He was momentarily shocked but after a second he came to his senses and returned the kiss. They broke apart a second later, both red in the face and breathing deeply.

"Fuck." Harry breathed out

"I know right. Goddamn." Tonks said with a goofy grin on her face. She paused a moment. "I told you I wanted to show my thanks."

"Uh… Umm… You're welcome. Very welcome. Very Very Welcome. Any time." Harry stammered out.

"Oh babe, I'm just getting started." She said as she pushed him back onto the bed and climbed in his lap. Harry quite enjoyed learning just how thankful she really was that night.

"Make sure you write often, and I'm sure we'll be seeing you before too long." Sirius told Harry as they parted ways on Platform 9 ¾. Remus passed along similar parting pleasantries and they all exchanged their hugs and shakes and what-not.

Finally Tonks made her way to him and wrapped him tightly in a hug, pressing into him. "I'm gonna miss you Harry. You better write every damn day or its your ass." She said as she kissed him deeply. She finally patted him on the pocket with a grin. "Something to remember me by. Make sure you wait until you're alone to open it." She finished with a wink.

"Best fuckin' summer ever." Harry said with a smile. And it had been. He no longer had to return to Durskaban and instead lived with his godfather who cared for him and whom he loved deeply. Instead of 3 months of solitary confinement being beat and worked like a house elf he finally got to enjoy his days. He had spent plenty of time with Hermione, both having fun and training; not to mention the thing he had going with Tonks. He wasn't sure he'd call her his girlfriend, but he was definitely sure that she was more than just a regular friend.
