Chapter 15: The Spark

To them, even though Salem isn't with Jaune at the moment, they can't help but see Jaune's Mother in Cinder's place, like she's still with him even so far away from home. They couldn't help but be in awe and slightly jealous of such a strong familial bond. They would admit they rarely spend time as mother and daughter. Due to Hera's busy schedule as a Huntress, sometimes leaving home for missions, and Pyrrha's constant training from her father to be the best Huntress and ensuring her status as the Goddess of victory.

Pyrrha is never fond of the spotlight being placed on the pedestal and always wants to tell her father, but she can't, no matter how hard she tries. She still remembers the first time when she won the Reginal tournament. Remembering how her father cheered for her like every parent would do for their child and was even more proud when she won. He would usually praise her and advise her on areas she could improve; those were the only times he would see her. Back then, her father rarely came home. Usually, he leaves for a couple of weeks and returns home for a day or two of rest after a mission before going on to his next assignment. Hera would be the voice of reason to tell her husband to slow down, or he would burn himself out.

But to Leonidas, his pride as a huntsman got the best of him in an accident that forced him to retire early, becoming a stay home husband. Retirement did not sit well for him as depression slowly crept into his mind, feeling an utter failure as a huntsman. Hera tries to help, but nothing works. Leonidas's mentality continued to deteriorate even further, that therapy was needed for his mental health, but that all changed on that one morning when the next regional tournament was announced on their family tv during breakfast. At that moment, Pyrrha remembered how happy and proud her father was when she won her first tournament and was on the news of being the youngest competitor and winner. Plus, she is slowly gaining fans from the general public but primarily kids her age and more youthful. Pyrrha didn't mind it, as it was rarely two to five people a week, but it was slowly getting to her as an annoyance. The young spartan wanted to be left alone and just be an ordinary girl. Even in school, she gained more popularity than before, and others approached her to be her friend, but she knew they wanted to be her friends because of her recent fame.

She could never forget how embarrassed she was when her father kept encouraging her to give an autograph or bragging about her to his friends at work and called her the Goddess of Victory nickname. With his smile wide and proud, she couldn't help but love her father even more.

But seeing him with his eyes lifeless, oblivious, and even worse, he might divulge even further to inflict self-harm. Pyrrha can help, no, save her father. But doing so would put Pyrrha in the spotlight again, and maybe this time, she would gain more attention than she could take. And that moment, when she turned to her father, she knew this would change her life from an ordinary girl to the soon Goddess of Victory.

"Dad…" she calls out to her father with a determined stare with a Firey passion, but in reality, it was a front to impress her father, who got his attention, and he stared at his daughter with lifeless eyes.

"Train me for the regional tournament…." She states but pauses at the end with a slight blush across her face of embarrassment, but she holds it in and shouts out loudly even though she's embarrassed to say it.

"To be Mistral's Goddess of Victory!" to her parents, they see their proud daughter following in their footsteps as a huntress and wanting to be better with determination. While internally for Pyrrha, she's crying herself in embarrassment. Literally screaming why repeatedly for calling out that embarrassing name.

Her mother was surprised by her outburst and confused about the sudden change of interest to compete again, as she remembered clearly that Pyrrha wasn't fond of attention. But when she asked about the sudden change, Leonidas left the room without a word and on his own. Which surprised Herra even more, as Leonidas rarely moved unless he was helped up or told to since his forced retirement.

Pyrrha slumped in defeat and was almost in tears. Hera gasped, realizing what Pyrrha was doing when she was about to come over and comfort her daughter. A sound they had never heard for a long time, and what came out from the corner was Leonidas in his huntsman gear and weapon, Thermopylae Enomotia (Guardian of the Flame Gate), which is a giant round shield enough to cover his entire body and lance. It isn't a mechashift, but it does have dust components in both his shield and spear. His shield is embedded with hard light dust that allows him to project identical hard light shields just like his to protect himself and his comrades when taking the front lines against a horde of Grimm. As he was known to Remnant, the Anti-horde Huntsman, who can single handily hold off a horde of Grimm, thanks to his Leadership and skill. His lance, like his shield, also has dust components embedded at the spearhead itself, depending on the type of dust. Still, his go-to favorite is fire dust which ignites the spearhead in flames and even fires the spearhead like a projectile. It was evident that Pyrrha inspired her weapon design to make Milo and Akouo.

As for his gear, well… let's just say he also has a reputation back in his huntsman-in-training days known as the exhibitionist huntsman. He was wearing short leather shorts, showing off his lean muscle with no shame that all men would both envy and some drool, while the women could never leave their eyes away. The intention was never to distract them but to show that he wasn't afraid of death. Even most of the time, he deactivates his passive aura shield, exposing himself.

With the only form of armor, he wears only his brass gauntlets and shin guards, his Corinthian helmet, and his prize possession, his crimson cape. And it's not just any ordinary cape, a cloak of his fallen ancestors passed down from parent to child since the great war.

"Pyrrha, ready your breakfast and eat heartily. Cause tonight we dine in Hell!" he roars with pride and life returning to his eyes. They both recognize the same eyes as the same man they love and care for returned to them. Filled Pyrrha with excitement and relief to hear her father's favorite catchphrase he used for inspiration and intimidation every time at the beginning of the morning of a mission.

"Yes, sir!" she shouts excitedly and rushes to her room to change into her huntress gear. From that moment on, Leonidas's mental health improved to complete recovery, and he became both Pyrrha's couch and manager. Though there were occasions when Leonidas tended to go too far, which led Hera to jump in and stop her husband on one or two occasions.

"Pyrrha, Hera! I got the room ready. Let's go!" Leonidas called out across the lobby from the reception desk, snapping both Pyrrha and Hera back to reality and seeing Leonidas waving to them.

"It's time already? Oh, time sure does fly. It's been a pleasure to meet you, Salem" Hera smiles at the scroll.

"And to you as well, Hera. The next time we meet, it'll be face-to-face."

"I'll hold you to that." Hera smiles, then turns to her daughter with a smile.

"Pyrrha, aren't you going to say anything?" caught her daughter, still staring at Jaune in a trance without Jaune noticing, snapping out of her trance and stuttering.

"I-I'll be seeing you in the finals, Jaune. Be sure you make it. Or I won't forgive you…." Pyrrha whispers the last part without Jaune noticing. Except the woman in the group, including Salem, on the scroll and rushes to her father in embarrassment. Hera couldn't help but giggle at the moment, gave her final goodbyes, and followed behind Pyrrha.

"Sweet girl. A possible candidate?" Salem spoke loudly, catching Jaune's attention with a flush face on his scroll in embarrassment.

"Excuse me?"

"It's nothing. Jaune, why don't you check your room? I need to have a word in private with Cinder." Salem quickly changes the subject, Jaune complies and hangs up his scroll and follows the maid that greeted them earlier to the reception. Cinder stands idle until her scroll rings, answer it, and places it to her ear. Already knowing what Salem would be going to ask.

"Well, what do you think?"

"Potential. But not good enough for Jaune." Cinder blatantly states that Salem notices Cinder's tone of her voice and can't help but smile.

"Are you jealous, Cinder?" Salem laughs as Cinder scoffs at the insinuation and notices Jaune waving at her to follow him as he puts on his custom-made headphones, courtesy of Watts. Design in chrome with blue accents, noise cancelling, and other features would make teens his age "jealous." This would assist his cover to be more believable as a young teen and not by his chronological age while reading the hotel's pamphlet.

"Of course not." She enters the elevator with Jaune as he swipes the keycard to the suite while she pushes a button to the penthouse suite. Jaune is listening to the music in his scroll, given to him by Emerald before he bordered the bullhead. She thought it would help Jaune accumulate what people his age would listen to these days, helping him to "blend in."

"All I'm saying is that Nikos girl has potential. But if she wants Jaune, she better hurry. Cause if she doesn't…" she looks towards Jaune and sees his focus is on the music and based on the title she read on the screen, it seems heavy rock and confident he won't hear her.

"His mine…" she smirks and widens seductively, riddled with temptation and desire for the prince, while oblivious.

"Hehe…I thought you had no interest in my son. What causes this change of heart, Cinder? Was it his charm, or could he melt your walls?" Salem jest, to which Cinder blushed in embarrassment, quickly clears her throat and tries to change the subject.

"A-anyway! I'll return to Evernight castle to pick up Emerald and Mercury tomorrow morning." As the elevator dinged, its doors revealed an entire penthouse suite floor from what Cinder remembered from the floor plan besides the necessities like the four bedrooms, each with a personal bathroom and kitchen with a minibar by the large open porch with a private natural hot spring beside it. This caught Jaune's attention, and he hung his headphones around his neck. In contrast, Raven finally popped out of Jaune's hoodie, immediately shifted to her original form, and headed straight for the minibar to help herself to a drink while the others didn't mind. Fenrir hooped off Jaune's hood and immediately lay on the soft couch.

"Very well, meet me as soon as you arrive. Oh yes, that reminds me. Mercury will rendezvous with you after the regional tournament."

"Wait, why?" she asks.

"He was given an assignment by Jaune. According to Watts, Jaune wanted to test Mercury's skill. To see if he is what he claims to be. Will this be a problem, Cinder?" she eyed Jaune, heading to the porch, looking at the view of all of Mistral while Raven joined him with a glass at hand. She leers toward the former bandit leader, passing the second glass of alcohol and talking to Jaune with suspicion.

"As long it doesn't hinder the plan, then no."

"Good, see you then." She hangs up the phone with Cinder, rushes to the balcony, and snatches the glass off Jaune's hand. Jaune didn't react but stared at Cinder, confused, along with Raven.

"Cinder…you know I'm literally older than you, right?" he stares with a deadpan expression.

"If you wanted a glass, you could've just asked?" Raven stares at Cinder with a smirk, knowing what Cinder is doing as it's hilarious, seeing her face flush red.

"Tch! We can't allow Jaune's cover to be blown. And worse case, if this was found out after the Regional Tournament, we gave alcohol to a minor." She protests, embarrassed.

"What? But my coverage is eighteen. I'm legal to drink."

"Technically…yes, but the drinking age in Mental is twenty-one," Raven replied and drank her glass while Jaune felt his very existence shatter within him.

"Dammit! What the hell am I supposed to drink!" he cries while the two women sweat drop to the scene as they watch the prince slump in depression and lie on the couch while hugging his animal companion.

"How could Remnant do this such callous! It's not fair!" he cries while Fenrir pats her master's head, trying to comfort her master with such awkwardness and confusion.

"There, there, master…." She sighs

"To think I lost to him." Raven stares with a deadpan expression.

"You're not the only one." Cinder sighs as Raven crock her brow at her fellow Maiden. Cinder stares back at her, then smiles, and they raise their glass.

"Seems we found something in common." Cinder smiles as their glass clunk in cheer.

"That we both found the Prince of Grimm attractive?" Raven states with a smirk while eyeing Cinder as she chokes on her drink.

"Wh-what!?"

"Please, it's evident from your fake date, and I won't deny it. When a chance arises, I won't hesitate to take him." Raven states, but Cinder frowns on Raven's claim.

"And you think Salem would allow it?" Cinder leers

"As long I gave birth to an heir, she won't care." She smiles, enjoying seeing Cinder's dilemma, but Cinder smiles.

"You make it sound like you did this before." She retorts as Raven ire towards her.

"at least I'm not a half-bake Grimm-infested Maiden." Raven leers.

"What was that? Your thirsty thot?" Cinder sneers.

The atmosphere immediately changes from a friendly conversation to a full-out war for blood. Even the Grimm outside the wall caught a whiff of their negativity. Slowly, they draw out their weapons, ready to silence the other. From another perspective, you could see lightning sparks coming from their eyes. Raven slowly drew out Virtuous Treaty from her back while Cinder used her semblance scorching caress forming black blades of glass on each hand. They circle each other while they both eyeing dead set on their actions. But just as they were about to set course, the voice of authority sounded.

"Enough!" the voice sounded irritated. The two maidens see Jaune in a change of clothes of his plain black shirt and shorts with a rolled-up towel hanging around his neck, with Fenrir in her wolf form, snarling at the two women.

"Seriously. I'm the one supposed to pose as a child. But it seems you two are more childish than I am." He sighed, scratching his head, while the two women were also annoyed by his comment.

"Why don't you two just relax and enjoy yourselves. I already got my room picked. Best you two get sorted." As Jaune turns around, Fenrir follows suit but not without snorting at the two maidens, while both couldn't have felt more irritated by Fenrir.

"Where are you going?" Cinder calls out.

"To the Hotel's Gym," he replies, waving the pamphlet over his shoulder while heading to the elevator.

"it's said they're the best of all of Mistral. And chances of other competitors using it, I can simultaneously size up my competition to know what I'm up against. So, while I'm gone, you two behave and enjoy some R&R." the elevator doors open, and Fenrir changes to her pup form and leaps onto Jaune's shoulder.

"Cause the last thing I want is to hear two women fighting for my seed." Just as the elevator door closed, leaving the two women with their faces flushed red in embarrassment. They looked at each other and had no choice but to sigh in shame, realizing what they were arguing earlier was stupid and embarrassing and having no choice but to comply with the prince's wish and enjoy their freedom.

With the humming of the engines lowering the elevator, the display of the floors descends to the requested floor. Jaune still couldn't help but sigh while pinching the bridge of his nose. Unsure if it was either frustration or fatigue from the day he's been through, the loss of his love, the promise to find and save her great-granddaughter and help Ghira re-establish the White Fang. Yet as frustrating as this is, Jaune couldn't help but smile as his signs of fatigue washed away and replaced with his fond memories of Catherine, both good and bad.

"Even after death, you always find a way to get back to me, Cathy." He smiled till Fenrir called out to him, snapping him back to reality.

"Master, is it wise to leave those two behind?" Fenrir frowns

"It's okay, Fenrir. If anything, this could even help them to get along. And besides, I need to get away from those two. I'm mean seriously, saying that out loud, it's a miracle no one heard them." Just on cue, the bell ding snapped Jaune away from the conversation to see the elevator display, but it wasn't the floor he was heading to. In fact, only past five levels below the penthouse, he realized someone must've called in the elevator just as he entered. Although it didn't matter to Jaune, it might be just another guest not worth noting, but as the doors opened, to his surprise, he saw the same Redhead he met in the reception except without her armour she came into the hotel. She is wearing her brown overbust corset with a vertical strip of lighter brown in the centre, an elastic, black, A-line mini skirt and brown opera-length gloves on both arms. With a red ankle-length sash around her dress and brown high-heeled boots with a bronze trim reaching up to her mid-calf.

"Oh! Jaune! Um-hello!" she startles in her greeting.

"Oh, hi…? Um, Pyrrha, Right?" Jaune hesitated, unsure not to mix up her and her mother's names. As Pyrrha is brimmed with a smile at Jaune's obliviousness of her or her title

"Y-yes! That's right! Where are you heading?" she says excitedly.

"to the gym. I was told it's the best in Mistral." Jaune smiles as Pyrrha's heart twinges a little. For the first time, she felt this sensation.

"What a coincidence!? So am I! can I join you?" she says even more excitedly. Jaune overlooks this but not Fenrir as she snarls quietly towards Pyrrha, yet Jaune doesn't notice.

"Sure. It'll be nice to have a sparing partner. If it's alright with you?" Jaune smiles.

"of course! I wouldn't mind!" Pyrrha smiled and stood by Jaune's side excitedly while Jaune had this sinking feeling, but this might be a coincidence and shock it off. As Jaune ponders his thoughts, Pyrrha can't help but eye Fenrir's silky, shiny, fluffy tail hanging off on Jaune's shoulder as the tail wags, tempting Pyhrra to feel the tail, like it was calling for Pyrrha to pet it.

Just as Pyrrha reached out and touched a strand of fur on Fenrir's tail, immediately in a quick second of a jolt, Pyrrha saw the other end of Fenrir's maw wide open to bite down on Pyrrha's fingers. But thanks to her training with her father, her reaction time is faster than usual; she manages to pull her fingers away from Fenrir's reach.

"Raf!" Fenrir barked, snapping her jaws shut with a snarl.

"Eek!" she screeched in fright as she lost her balance, snapping Jaune back, in reality, seeing Pyrrha on the floor startle and Fenrir snarling towards her.

"Fenrir, heel girl…" he sighs while scratching the back of her ear, calming her while reaching down to Pyhrra.

"Sorry about that, Pyrrha. Fenrir tends to be overly protective over me."

"It's fine. It's my fault for being too greedy." She grabbed Jaune's hand as he pulled her up to her feet while Fenrir leered towards her in spite. As Jaune notices Pyrrha's eye on Fenrir, longing to pat her fur, Jaune can't help but smile as he picks Fenrir off his shoulder and passes her to Pyrrha. This surprised both women of Jaune's action, especially Fenrir.

"Ma-Master! What are you doing!?" she cries in fright.

"Just play along and be nice, Fenrir. She could be useful."

"Fine…just this once. I'll play along…but you owe me!" as Fenrir caves in Pyrrha's arms. While Pyrrha is in awe of how smooth and silky Fenrir's fur is to the touch, she can't help but nuzzle Fenrir's coat non-stop. Even Fenrir enjoyed it a little, although she won't admit it.

It didn't take long for Pyhrra to stop when the elevator bell sounded, and the doors opened to an entire floor dedicated to recreation and health. Jaune has never seen weights and equipment before in his life. He notices that the gym is empty at the moment, with just a handful of people and some of the equipment being used, which piques his curiosity about the more complicated equipment. This caught Pyhrra's notice seeing Jaune awing the equipment with great interest, like a child seeing a new toy.

"You've never been to a Gym, have you?" she smiles while massaging Fenrir's back, which got the Direwolf to sleep in bliss, which amazes Jaune. From his experience, no one could easily put Fenrir to sleep that quickly except for him, but he got sidetracked.

He scratches at the back of his head with a slight chuckle, which Pyhrra finds kind of cute to see Jaune such an embarrassing sight.

"Hehe…. Am I that obvious? Sorry about that." Jaune continues eyeing the gym equipment in fascination and talking to Pyrrha while amazed.

"It's just…when you live in the frontier, you rarely hear anything of what going on in Remnant. The only exercise I do in the frontier is manly sparring matches with the staff and learning to hunt Grimm while growing up as a kid..."

This wasn't a complete lie on Jaune's part. He secluded himself at Evernight Castle ever since he woke up. As he knows, the Remnant he once knew is gone, and he needs to adapt to this Era or risk being found by Ozma. The spars kept his sense and skills sharp with his mother's inner circle, mainly thanks to Tyrian and Hazel. Tyrian's unpredictable nature kept Jaune on his toes. At the same time, Hazel continued educating him regarding today's hunters and discovered over the years during his cryo sleep that these hunters are more cowardly than the past warriors. He notices a pattern in every battle vid that Hazel shows him, from training simulations from huntsman academy (courtesy of Watts) to actual live battles against Grimm.

As soon as the hunter's aura is either dilapidated or in the "red", they immediately stop the fight in the simulated battles. While they live fire exercise against the Grimm, they panic, cower and run for their lives. In his conclusion, the hunter society heavily relies upon their aura, which explains why they don't invest in amour and why humanity hasn't gained much territory for their respective Kingdoms against the Grimm. And as for hunting Grimm, he did in his early days to hone his survival skills and hunting (but that's another story for another time).

"Wait, so you never left your home growing up? Not even travelling with your mother?" Pyrrha asked, surprised to hear Jaune so isolated from Remnant. His like one of those fairy tales of a princess locked in the tower waiting for their prince to rescue them, and listening to him admit he hunted the Grimm in his frontier Village so young can tell that Jaune isn't lying nor boasting about it.

While amazed, she watched Jaune trying out one of the closes equipment available with the treadmill. He stood awkwardly on a treadmill, unsure of what to do. He watched other people using it and copied what they were doing when he noticed one of them push a button, starting their treadmill. But as soon he pushed a button, the treadmill started running at running speed. It caught Jaune unaware. He couldn't get his footing right as he fell on the running treadmill and was watched him flying off the treadmill and crashing into the floor.

"Ow…" he groans on the floor upside down with his legs over his head.

"Jaune! are you okay!?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I should've paid more attention." He righted himself up with a smile with a pink tint across his cheeks. Pyrrha couldn't help be an entrance of Jaune's innocents. She felt that same twinge in her heart.

"Since this is your first time, how about I help you out?" she smiles, reaching out for Jaune's hand as he smiles and takes her hand.

"I would like that, thanks." He smiles as Pyrrha pulls him up, gives him a tour of the gym equipment, and even educates him on how the equipment works, which muscles are in use, the method and the results you expect. While occupied by their tour and unaware of a third party a particular father watches behind the scenes, yet very noticeable from the staff seeing Leonidas Nickos watching/(spying) his daughter behind a rack of dumbells. He is internally conflicted about what he's seeing. His baby girl is on a date!

"And not just a date!? This brat is playing dumb just to take advantage of Pyrrha!?" Jealously is revving in the elder Spartan's mind when he first notices Pyhrra's behaviour on the balcony after settling in their room. Her attention was on the upper floors listening to a conversation. To his surprise, his Pyrrha was never the type to eavesdrop or be curious about other people's affairs. But what his attention, he saw Pyrrha's face flush unexpectedly and almost slip and fall off the railings. It almost gave him a heart attack when he saw her, but when he was about to check on her, she immediately rushed past him.

"Sorry, Dad! I'm heading to the gym for some training. Bye!" and heads for the door without her armour before Leonidas can speak.

"But Pyrrha, we just got here. Why don't you rest a bit before-" The door closed before he could finish. Yet he doesn't know why, but his father's intuition is tingling, and he decides to follow his daughter without Hera noticing him leaving. Now he was in a dilemma; Leonidas was damn sure he couldn't just walk up to Pyhrra and confront her and the brat. Knowing her daughter, she'll be a tattletale to Hera, and the retired spartan be in a new world of hurt and sleeping on the couch. But he needs to do something! He needs to evaluate this Jaune brat to see if his good for Pyrrha. The last thing he needs is a weak bumpking smooching off his daughter with her fame and status. And like, by some miracle, his prays were answered as he noticed a group of four approaching Pyrrha. Three of them wear identical matching suits with shades as uniforms with an earpiece of communication. The one leading them is a bald young man wearing a maroon tracksuit with his family emblem of a golden wing crest that Leonidas knows too well on both reputation and a thorn to Pyrrha and the family.

"Oh…hello…Theo…" Pyrrha says in force and uncomfortably, to which Jaune notices her tone. And can already tell that Pyhrra is giving this guy a forced smile to be nice to him. As Jaune stares at their new guest with one look, this guy is lean, which tells Jaune that he's not a fighter with a lack of visible scars around his hands and arms; immediately, Jaune can tell this guy is a civilian. And plus his jacket hanging on his shoulders like a cape and his smiles of superiority, Jaune can't help but have a suspicious feeling he has seen him before.

"Pyrrha! It's good to see you again, my love!" he smiles confidently like he has already won.

"Love?" Jaune croaks his brow, then turns to Pyrrha, seeing her expression with a sincere smile but obviously struggling to keep it from frowning into a great rage. This clearly shows Pyrrha is not very fond of this Theo guy.

Ever since they first met in Mistral Tournament two years ago, it was the most embarrassing fight of her life. She will admit Theo was somehow a skilled fighter despite his appearances, but the part that Pyrrha couldn't stand Theo was his constant praises of awe while she was beating him, but it didn't stop. After the match, he proposes to her in front of a live arena audience. She kindly rejected him, and he "respectively" accepted her wish, but it was front to not look like a fool, and Theo didn't take the no lightly. With the constant shower of gifts sent to her and ambushing her to go on a date with him. She couldn't leave the house alone without being ambushed. It got so severe that the Nikos family had to confront the situation of the Von Gelgoog family. At first, Theo's father laughs and brushes it off as a joke, but thanks to Leonidas, being a retired huntsman has its perks, such as the skill he uses to hunt Grimm, but in this case, Theo. He acquired a series of evidence that could give Theo a bad rep, and in turn, Theo's father could damage his reputation too. This stopped the stalking, but Theo was persistent for Pyrrha from other angles.

"So Pyrrha! Have you given some thought to my proposal? After all, it will be beneficial to both our families." He advances to Pyrrha, standing by her side with his hand bear on her exposed shoulder and herding her away from Jaune. Pyrrha resisted, but Theo kept pushing her away.

Jaune can clearly see she's uncomfortable with this Theo guy's advances. He should intervene as he hops off the shoulder press machine and approaches Pyrrha.

"Hey, Pyrrha, I finished my set like you asked. And I have to say it gave me much more work than I expected." He calls out with a smile, as Pyrrha turns and smiles with a sigh of relief towards Jaune, while Theo leers at him in annoyance. To cue, Jaune notices and moves on with the conversation and tries introducing himself to this Theo person.

"hi there, My name is Jaune Arc. Are you, by chance, a friend of Pyrrha." He smiles while he offers a handshake of introduction but only for Theo to slap his hand away.

"Ow…okay rude…" Jaune frown.

"Do you know who you're in the presence of?" Theo boasts but only receives a raised brow from Jaune and a sigh of embarrassment and annoyance from Pyrrha.

"I am Theo Von Gelgoog! Second strongest contestant of the Mistral Regional tournament!" he states as if that meant anything to him but only receives a deadpan expression from Jaune of unimpressive as he clearly doesn't look like one and remembers where he has seen him before.

As it turns out, he was on the list of compatible contestants Jaune might face in the tournament from what Watts gathered. His social status was never mentioned, as Jaune has no interest, only their combat capability. If he remembers correctly, according to the data, Theo could go toe-to-toe with a first-year hunter-in-training. What took Jaune's attention was first his appearance. At first, he didn't look like a fighter but a civilian lean with very little muscle mass. Yet he gave his opponent a confident look of arrogance like he had already won. Second, besides being rank 2nd behind Pyrrha, was the adaptability of his martial arts, which he noticed when watching the previous regional tournaments. And thirdly, He immediately defeated his opponent in a fast pace barrage without giving the opponent a chance to fight back till their aura level reached red.

In the first round, he shows true mastery of the imperial tiger-style martial arts, which impresses Jaune, and he believes Theo to be some sort of prodigy and to re-think to never judge a book by its cover. In the second round, he changes his style to the fang snake style martial arts and shows true mastery. That caught Jaune's attention, not out of interest, but out of denial. When Theo changed styles again on the next round and the next.

'there's no way he could master that many styles unless they started training him literally out of the womb, which I find hard to believe.' but he just sighs and moves on to another candidate as he was short on time before leaving Evernight Castle. He'll leave it to future Jaune to deal with him when they cross paths. His train of thought snapped when he continued to hear Theo's ranting.

"This is Pyrrha Nikos! Mistral's three-time champ-"

"blah, blah, blah. Yeah, I already know the story. Three-time champion of the Mistral Regional Tournament. Big deal." Jaune interrupts sarcastically and offhandedly.

"No offence, Pyrrha," He changes his deminer as he turns to Pyrrha with an apologetic look.

"None taken." She smiled, but Theo didn't take it so well and gasped in shock.

"How dare you!? Do you not understand who she is!? This is Pyrrha Nikos!"

"I know that"

"she's the three-time of the Mistral Regional Tournament!"

"You already said that."

"She is the top of her class in Sanctum academy!"

"Well, of course. It should be every student's goal to be at the top of the class. As the next generation of Hunters to fight against the Grimm." Jaune states with a smile, which infuriates Theo as his message doesn't mean what Jaune think it means. While Pyrrha couldn't help but glee towards Jaune. He didn't see her as a superior but as an average person like everyone else.

Theo sees Jaune as so incompetent that he doesn't know how significant or vital Pyrrha is. He isn't sure if Jaune is messing with him or if he doesn't understand Pyrrha's position. Theo's eye began twitching when Jaune continued having an unimpressed look.

"She's on the Pumpkin Pete's marshmallow flakes box! And given the title "the Goddess of Victory!" he roars in pride, loud enough to gather everyone's attention in the gym to form a crowd. At the same time, Theo's bodyguards hold a perimeter around them, even pulling out their scrolls and recording the event. While Pyrrha slowly feels uncomfortable while giving an awkward and forced smile to the crowd with a slight wave. Theo, smirk hoping that Jaune will finally understand his position and leave, knowing that his status will only sally Pyrrha's pride and the role of her title and eventually leave them alone together. So he can finally make his move, or so he thought in his plan to get rid of Jaune. But Jaune still gave him the same crooked brow in even more confusion towards him.

Jaune turns back to Pyrrha, stares at her from top to bottom, and reverses to see what made Theos's claim so exaggerated. He turns back and gives Theo a deadpan expression, questioning himself regarding the loudmouth's sanity while getting on his nerves.

"Okay, first off. Those Pumpkin Pete cereals are incredibly too sweet and unhealthy. Who in their right mind would serve that type of stuff to children? But I must give them credit for their charitable work for Hunters in need and their families for every box they sold." This surprised everyone in the crowd. Most of them didn't know about pumpkin Pete's charity, especially Pyrrha.

"wait, for real!?"

"so that's why! I always thought it was just for the money for her."

"OMG! Even a champion, she still supports her fellow hunters."

While praises continued, Pyrrha couldn't but blush embarrassingly with Fenrir carried over her face to hide the embarrassment. The embarrassment wasn't coming from her admirers, but from her unawareness, she wasn't aware of Pumpkin Pete's charity. At first when she won her first tournament, her family had financial problems due to her father's health. It pains her to see her parents struggle, especially her mother, going on mission after mission, rarely home to support her loved ones. Which didn't ease her father's mind off the feeling of being incompetent. Even the motivation of training her to be a fine huntress only slightly helped to keep his mind off it. But only a little.

But a few weeks after her second win of the tournament, her father approached her with a sponsorship contract from Pumpkin Pete's. When she gave it a read, she immediately signed the contract, as she could use the funds to help her family, ease her mother's workload, spend more time in the house, and continue supporting her father's health.

"and second…." He pauses and turns back to Pyrrha.

"Pyrrha, you're beautiful, but the title Goddess is over-exaggerated. To me, all I see is a normal girl. Again, no offence." Then turn back to Theo. Before Pyrrha could reply, she couldn't help but smile to finally meet someone who didn't see her as a celebrity but as a person. Something that she always wanted to be expected. But that didn't sit well with Theo as he was at his limit and threw a punch towards Jaune just as he turned back to him.

But if it wasn't Pyrrha's quick thinking, she called out to Jaune. "Look out!" she yells just as Theo's fist is about to connect to Jaune's jaw. His fist is caught, followed by his arm twisted to his back and a hard kick to his leg, as he falls face to the floor with Jaune pinning him. And that all happened in a matter of seconds that Theo's bodyguards didn't notice till the crowd gasped in shock. Yet they didn't approach as they were unsure whether to go in or not without their master getting hurt even further, even though they all knew he deserved it.

"Get off of me, you bastard! Do you know who I am?" Theo yells towards Jaune, but he completely ignores him and turns his attention to Pyrrha.

"Thanks for the save, Pyrrha. Are you okay?" he asks, concerned

"I'm fine, Jaune. Thank you." Pyrrha sighs with relief while she hugs Fenrir in her arms tightly like a scared child hugging her favourite stuffed toy. Jaune smiles but quickly frowns when he turns his attention back to Theo, pulling his arm slightly more, intending to inflict pain.

"Now you… I don't know who taught you manners. But it was very cowardly to attack someone on a whim." As Jaune's grasp tightens, hurting Theo's wrist.

"Ow! Let go, you bastard! Do you know who I am!? I am Theo Von Gelgoog! Son of the head of the Mistral Council!" he retorts in rage, while Jaune is annoyed by his constant plea for recognition.

"Yes, I already know your name! What are you, a broken record? And why should you care about your parent being a council member?" he pauses, waiting for Theo's response.

"I can make your life a living hell!" he shouts, threatening to scare Jaune immediately to get him off his back. But Jaune leers to him in disgust and annoys not one bit afraid of Theo, let alone intimidated, but only pulls Theo's arm harder to shut him up.

"wow... can't fight your own fight and go crying calling for daddy? What a pathetic excuse of a warrior..." Jaune says insultingly.

"What did you say!? I'll have you know I'm the second rank best fighter in the regional tournament!" That piques Jaune's interest, and I see no hint of decision from the young man as he forms scars supporting his claim.

"Oh? Then how about we settle this, you and me on the stage. Winner holds the loser's fate?" Jaune smiles. This caught Theo's attention, and grin maliciously of already believing he had won.

"you have no idea what you got yourself into." He grins as Jaune lets go of him and stand, rubbing his sores wrist while sneering towards Jaune.

"we'll see…." Jaune smiles competitively as he and the crowd follow Theo to the gym's training field. The group gathers in awe and excitement about the fight while Pyhrra can't help but worry for Jaune. She still remembers the first match they met in the regional tournament. Theo was a skilled fighter in hand-to-hand combat, if he was serious, he could've beaten her, but he didn't and let her win. The plan was to get her attention, but instead, it backfired, insulted her pride, and he was humiliated in front of an entire crowd. But she did get payback from the last tournament and beat him fair.

"Are you ready to lose, Arc?" he raises his fist but leaves his index finger into a hook shape and move his thumb to make a "C" shape. He kept one leg raised into a stance for a moment till he began to stumble and fall, but his raised leg caught his fall, and Theo stood upright and repeated only stumble again like he was drunk. But Jaune immediately recognizes what he's doing while the crowd laughs, thinking Theo isn't taking this seriously and will easily win.

"Drunken boxing?" Jaune crocks his brow in surprise yet unease at what he sees. As its namesake, it's a martial art that imitates the movement of a drunk person, and the way Theo moves shows true mastery, more believable as if he is drunk. There were stories that drunken boxing could be more efficient if they were heavily influenced by alcohol. And staring at Theo's expression and movement, it is compelling that he is drunk, yet Jaune didn't see him take any alcohol when they arrived at the stage, and he was very sober when he approached Pyrrha earlier.

"so, how's he doing it?" Jaune says under his breath.

"Are we doing this! or are we going to fight?" Theo's words are slurs.

"he's even talking drunk? Okay…something definitely not right." He raises his arm to a stance with his legs and arms to raise apart, purposely exposing himself. A fighter can clearly see his leaving himself too exposed, like an amateur. Everyone, including the crowd, is internally doubting Jaune's chances of winning, but not Pyrrha or Leonidas. From their perspective, they don't see an amateur. They see a seasoned fighter purposely leaving himself open, baiting his opponent into a trap. The headlight above the stage lit up with Jaune and Theo on respective sides with their Aura level in green to mark the start of the match.

Thoe's guards signal the fight to begin, Theo rushes straight for Jaune with intense speed just to be in striking distance to send his barrage attack like he would do to past opponents, but only this time, intended to make an example of Jaune, to know his place.

As his fist's trajectory is sent to Jaune's face, Theo smirks in victory. As soon as his fist lands, 'Jaune is good as dead'…. That was the idea going through Theo's head, but he didn't expect his fist to be effortlessly slapped away by Jaune and followed it up with Jaune's fist colliding with his face and sending him flying across the stage, shocking the crowd, especially Theo's man. Their jaws are literally on the floor in shock, as this was impossible to happen to their boss's son.

Theo struggles to lift himself up in a daze and is surprised at what just happened, as this is a new experience for him while staring at Jaune, confused.

"Y-you, you hit me…."

"This is a fight. What did you expect?" Jaune questions in suspicion toward Theo as he snaps out of his daze with a smirk and returns to a different fighting stance that Jaune immediately recognize.

"Now it's praying mantis?"

Theo rushes to Jaune to strike but only for his hand to be slapped away by Jaune, and he follows up to spin around Theo, letting him hit his back. But as Jaune's hand struck Theo's back, he felt something metallic and knew its not armour beneath his clothes.

Theo falls to the ground head-first while the crowds laugh at the display. He quickly turns with a scowl of intent toward Jaune, seeing him all calm and collected and not feeling swayed by his fighting style. His opponent would shake in fear seeing him perform his style openly. They would hesitate or tremble in fear before him. But his opponent before him only gives him a disappointing expression of a failure that Theo recognized all too well. Gritting his teeth in frustration while hearing the crowd laughing at him, looking like a fool.

"That's it! No more holding back!" he leers with the intent to kill and rush Jaune haphazardly, trying to hit him while Jaune simply counters and dodges his strikes away with ease like he knows where he'll strike.

"Already lost his composure and threw any thought of tactics out of the window. Now, he all radical in one goal, hoping to at least land a hit. Oh well, might humour him." Jaune smiles excitedly to see what these future hunters are made of.

-BREAKING News-

"We interrupt this program for breaking news. Second-rank scandal! Earlier today, Theo Von Gelgoog was sent to hospital after a crushing defeat in a sparing match at the High Mistral hotel gym. The Doctors discovered that the second-rank regional champ possesses illegal cyberwear implants to enhance his fighting capabilities. The administrator of the Mistral regional tournament and the headmaster of Mistral has this to say."

As the screen change to an elderly man, lion Faunus is at a stand with a group of community members of the Mistral regional tournament behind him. With mixed faces of pride and disgust at the events that transpired.

"It has come to a plebiscite decision of the board of the Mistral regional tournament and as headmaster of the Mistral Academy. We find Theo Von Gelgoog strip of the rank and blacklist for competing in future Regional tournaments. Until this matter is thoroughly investigated." The scene then cuts back to the news Anchor.

"In other news, authorities are still in search for the mysterious fighter that defeated Theo Von Gelg-" the TV turns off, with Cinder pointing the remote, with tick marks clearly visible of rage and frustration. Slowly turns to the culprit in question with his face covered in shame and embarrassment with Fenrir lying on his lap.

"What. Were. You. THINKING!?" Cinder roars with flames in her eyes ignite by the Fall Maiden's power, while Jaune averts his eye away. Not because of Cinder's bantering wrath but the feeling of awkwardness and nostalgia of De Ja Vu.

"I thought these future generations could take it." Jaune pouted while patting Fenrir to ease him.

"CLEARLY NOT!" Cinder shouts

"Hazel and Tyrian could," Jaune argues

"That's because they're trained and can take the beating! They Can't!" Cinder continues to holler towards Jaune and lecture him about the difference in power. While Jaune sighed and pretended to listen just to humour Cinder, though his confident that Cinder didn't notice and continued her lecture. He's even beginning to question whether Cinder enjoys monologuing or the sound of her own voice of superiority?

Then again, it explains why she kept Emerald and Mercury as her subordinates, to be in power over people and never feel weak or unwanted. Though, who has the right to judge her without knowing the truth. If anything, Jaune hates to admit it but pities the poor girl and would gladly make the ones responsible pay and make them beg for their lives. He has seen it too many times during his days of war and saw the true face of humanity that his so-called father trying to protect. He even sees it to this day, the tension between the Faunus and Humans, true they co-exist and are treated fairer compared to the past.

But….

Everything he learned from Watts, the media he watches. It remains to this day; if anything, it became worse behind the Vail of shadows than before.

…Fear…

Fear of indifference, Fear of diversity, Fear of unity and Fear of change…

…Fear…

"Even after thousand years, the world never changes. Same old problems, different time." Jaune sighs loudly with disappointment and loss of Hope. But from a third-person perspective, it looks like Jaune sighs in boredom which doesn't bode well with Cinder, and she finds it greatly insulted and must rectify. Via Punishment…

Her hand clenches with all her strength and then reaches out towards Jaue while still oblivious to his surroundings till he notices Cinder's hand.

"Cinder? What are you-"

It was too late as Cinder reached in and grabbed hold with all her might and pulled like life depended on it.

"GAAAAAGGGHHHHH!?" Jaune screamed with intense pain, unable to move and forced to lay on the floor and suffer.

"Cinder! Please! Stop pulling! My ears are sensitive!?" He begs while Cinder smiles sadistically, enjoying the painful expression of the great Grimm knight.

"Oh, I know. After all, your dear mother told me everything." She smiles as Jaune freezes in shock and slowly turns to Cinder with great fear.

"N-No, she didn't…!" he stutters, face flush with red in fear and embarrassment. Feeling his very will, his essence slowly deflates of suspense that Cinder is withholding.

"Oh, she did….especially the ones you try to erase from memory." Her smile spread ear to ear when she saw the Prince of Grimm shudder for the first time.

"Oh please, merciful Cinder! I beg you! I'll do anything!" he begs while prostrating himself towards her.

"Anything?" she smirks

"Anything!" he shouts

"wow….and here I thought my relationship with Qrow was messed up. But you two take the cake." Raven calls out as she comes in from the outdoor hot spring, wearing nothing but a towel wrapping her body with pale skin with droplets glistening off her skin. Jaune couldn't help but stare in awe at such beauty. Though this irritated Cinder even further with jealousy and spite that she threw the remote directly towards Raven's head. Didn't make it in time to put up her aura; she lost her balance and landed on her butt.

"Ow! Was that necessary!?" she groans while rubbing the soreness of her forehead, leering towards Cinder.

"put some damn clothes on!" Cinder shouts as Raven sneers, irritated and then smiles mischievously.

"Why? Jealous?" Raven smiles seductively while unwrapping the towel flashing the two, exposing more than just her skin. Jaune's face flushes redder than ever before as his nose drips blood. While Cinder grits her teeth in frustration, fully knowing what Raven is doing, seducing Jaune and making him see her as more than an alley. Worse, it works effectively against Jaune as he doesn't even look away, like a deer in headlights. The frustration building up with the media now searching for Jaune for that Theo brat, Jaune not taking this seriously and now Raven is seducing him right in front of her and rubbing it in. She even notices Jaune intently staring at Raven's mature beauty, smooth, clear skin, and ample breasts. He stares his way down at Raven's body to the spot, but just before he sees it, his vision turns black with a hit of pain.

"Jaune! Close your eyes!" Cinder shouts as she thinks she has covered his eyes, but her fingers dig into his sockets instead.

"GGgggaaaahhhh! Cinder! Get off of me! You're gouging my eyeballs!" he screams in pain as he rolls over on the floor to get Cinder off, while Raven watches with a sweat drop expression and sighs disappointed.

"Way to ruin the mood."

Lemon scene: skip this if you don't want to read it.

"Damn that, Cinder! She almost gouges my eyes out. Thank goodness Fenrir was there to get her off me." Jaune groans in pain and frustration with a hint of confusion while lying on his bed with a damp cloth over his sore eyes. Wondering what's got into Cinder, she's becoming more demanding than usual she didn't leave Jaune's side since the Theo incident. And becoming more territorial and aggressive against Raven and Fenrir when they ever come close to Jaune.

He sighs, enjoys the quiet, and removes the damp cloth from his eyes to see his room absent of light, cold night air breeze through the open porch. He finds it calming or perhaps a bit homesick he couldn't help but chuckle a little. Maybe this is the reason for his insomnia as he turns to the nightstand to see it's two in the morning. He knows the problem, but it wasn't from his frustrating day. He looks down at the sheet covering him to see a pitch-up tent beneath the sheets. No matter how often he tries to ignore it, she keeps popping into his mind. He could literally feel the stings of his cheeks burn bright seeing her all exposed, yet he felt so embarrassed! Thrashing on his bed frustratedly, rolling over from side to side, kicking his legs on the bed, and banging his head against the bed frame. Screaming within the pillow, unintentionally kicking the sheets off, scratching his head vigorously and ending it by dragging his hand across his face of acceptance. He can't calm down, especially with his sword down there. He'll admit he was tempted to go to Raven's room. But no, that's just lust. He doesn't even know a thing about Raven.

"And it's obvious she isn't interested in a relationship. This is just…." Jaune paused and then sat up in deep thought, trying to remember the term he learned from Mercury and Emerald movie nights. It was Emerald's idea to expose Jaune to "pop culture" to get him more acclimated to what people his "age" would enjoy in their free time. Jaune acclimated well and even criticized some of how inaccurate they were, to which Mercury agreed. They sometimes have heated debates, slowly becoming Emerald's entertainment to see Mercury be proven right and look more like an idiot for her entertainment. Though horror movies don't acclimate Jaune and frightened easily like a kitten, Emerald finds it adorable. The first time, Jaune ran and hid under his sheets. Mercury laughed it off and teased Jaune while Emerald kept him company, letting him hold her hand.

"What was that term Mercury said in that last movie where the Main characters have sex with no strings attached? What was it called again? A booty call? Friends with benefits?" he ponders.

"A hookup." A voice calls out by the door, and to his dread, the last person he wants to see wearing nothing but a button shirt leaning against the door frame as she smiles seductively.

"Or how I like to call it a Tryst." Her smiles widen with excitement and hungry.

"C-Cinder! How long have you been there?" he says in shock, without realizing he is wearing nothing but his underwear.

"I heard thrashing coming from your room. I got concerned, and look what I found." She smiles even wider while biting her nails with anticipation while looking at Jaune at a certain angle. He follows her stared, finally realizing, quickly reaching out for the pillow and covering up his sword.

"don't get any ideas," he says objectively.

"Too late." She smiles and helps herself in, closing the door but leaving a tiny gap open and approaches the bottom of the bed to slowly crawl towards Jaune. He was about to leave, but Cinder's hand pressed against his chest and pushed him down, lying on his bed, continuing her prowl. She threw the pillow away with ease and straddled on top of him, rubbing her neatly trimmed bush against Jaune's tree, which had flattened against his stomach. Confused and unsure of what to do in Jaune's situation, he couldn't help but let his instinct take over, placing his hands on confused Cinder's hips and moving them a bit forward. Hence, the girl's bush slid along the tree, causing the raven head to gasp, blush hard for a moment, and quickly try to take over the situation and be the domineer.

With a sultry smile and eyes of lust, Cinder slowly unbuttons her shirt, one button at a time. Jaune mentally grimaced. This was one of those dangerous situations that his mother once warned him about when someone took the protagonist role. He was also worried about the fact of what could come of this. He wasn't against the acts. The problems were more about matters of the heart.

"So… before you do what you wanted to do since I can tell you want to do that, I want you to answer some things." Jaune stopped her hands from removing the last button.

"tch, oh brothers… if I must." Cinder pouted as her hands rested on his pecs, feeling them without any shame before letting her fingers flick at his nipples.

"I'm not against this at all. I want to state first of all. Are you really certain of this? We only knew each out for about less than a year. This is pretty fast, isn't it?"

Cinder stopped flicking his nipple and stared down at him. Her eyes closed as she tilted her head back and forth, seemingly thinking about her answer.

"Yes, this is a little fast, I'll admit, but I've thought about it since our "date". It was only exasperated after I know what you are. The Prince of Grimm, the Fallen Avian, the first huntsman?" Cinder sadly smiled down at Jaune, who could barely speak a word.

"Yes…" It was the only word to leave his mouth.

"The night your mother mentioned your deal with her, I realized that if I didn't go after you, I wouldn't have you forever. You could be gone with another woman at any moment, and I would be none the wiser whenever possible. That night I consoled myself by thinking non-stop about you and what that meant if I followed through. Even the knowledge that your heart may belong to another spiralled in my mind." Cinder let out a hollow laugh as tears threatened to break through.

"Cinder- " Jaune was cut off as Cinder placed her hand over his mouth. When she pulled away her hand, she put one finger over her lips, making him stay quiet.

"Still, I would have regretted not trying this… not so much to steal you away but because I can tell you always have more room in your heart for another." Cinder finished as she wiped away the would-be tears that didn't trickle down her cheeks. "So I decided that before I leave… I would make certain that I have something to always remember you by… something that would last forever."

"I… see…." Jaune answered. He certainly wasn't sweating profusely at the prospect of that happening, and he wasn't trying to look anywhere other than her eyes. He was completely relaxed over everything.

'Ahhhhhhhhh!'

Jaune's mental anguish continually screamed as he had this certainty that this would end with him in trouble if his mother found out. He needed to think up a different approach.

"So… I've, well, experienced things already. It's your first time, isn't it?" Jaune stated through the tiny twitches that plagued his lips.

"You naughty boy. But yes, it will be my first. My first wondrous time." CInder sultrily mentioned as she rested atop his chest, slowly planting kisses from his pectoral muscles to his collarbone and neck, sucking the spot slightly, leaving a tiny hickey behind.

Losing that battle with self-control, he instigated his final plan. It would be a long shot… but Cinder still possess the Fall Madie, and she was probably prideful as well… hopefully.

"Then I should get you ready… though I don't know if you can handle it." Jaune trailed off deliberately… waiting.

"Hmph, I can handle anything. Try your best." Cinder smirked predatorily. She was completely confident in her convictions.

"We'll see," Jaune answered as he pulled his body up to rest against the bed's headboard. It was do-or-die time.

Pulling Cinder closer into his embrace, lips locked against hers, letting his tongue invade her mouth. Thoroughly it wrapped and flitted across her own tongue. The sudden strike caught Cinder off guard, making her lose her pace. His arms were wrapped around her body, lowering ever so slightly as they spread apart, leaving his hands firmly on her figure. He didn't press hard, nor did he squeeze her too tight. It felt comforting… firm, and loving. Cinder attempted to regain control, only for Jaune to catch her tongue and lightly suck on it. The act sent tiny sparks down her spine-tingling her body in ways she only felt behind closed doors. His hands were still trailing down her body, resting on her butt.

She could feel them edge down, moving her shirt out of the way. He didn't even stop his kiss when he found out that she was literally only wearing a sweater for cover. His hands kneaded her cheeks, ensuring she could get handfuls of her generous curves. She had never allowed anyone to touch her in such a way, but Jaune was special… and wanted it to be this way.

The kiss finally stopped as his lips pulled from hers, leaving a trail of drool behind. Cinder's entire body shivered in elation as her tongue stuck out between heaving breaths. It was almost like those love stories she read when she was still naive.

'Maybe those books were onto something.' Cinder tried to regain her composure. Jaune had always been so calm and collected in her eyes. The sudden passionate side he revealed was something new… and

very enticing.

Before she could decide to kiss him again, Jaune turned her entire body away. Her back now rested on his chest, and she could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. His hands were reaching up for the last button on her shirt, and her heart began beating too fast for words to describe. It was finally the moment… the moment her body would be laid bare before him.

The button was snapped off, letting her bosom sway free, each mound still jiggling slightly from her increased breathing. He wasted no time grasping both in his hands as they lightly weighed them. Resting on his palms now, he hefted each boob one at a time.

Pushing them together, pulling them apart, squeezing them gently, flicking her nipples until they were hard, and those were merely the tiny thing he did with his hands. Nipping on her ear left her body shivering. Words escaped Jaune, though… most of the time, his mouth was busy working his magic.

"No... ah … teasing!" Cinder flinched as Jaune pulled on her nipples, twisting them between his fingers.

"This isn't teasing… it's preparing." Jaune managed out as he gripped one breast and, with a bit of flexibility, moved his mouth over her nipple, taking a long, deliberate suckle. Cinder's whole body went into slight spasms as his tongue kept prodding and flicking her hard nipple.

An intense moan came from Cinder distracting her senses.

'It shouldn't feel this good!?' Her thoughts raced as Jaune played with her body in ways she had done before. She couldn't tell if it was because a guy was the one who was doing it or if her heart was far more into it because it was Jaune specifically. Those thoughts were lost as she finally regained some sense when he released her tit from his mouth with a loud pop. He had even left a mark as if claiming her… something she enjoyed far too much in her pleasure-addled mind.

The actual culprit of her returned senses was his right hand… rubbing her inner thigh. It went lower and lower, closer to her purity and encircled it in his sights, letting his finger trace around it. He never pushed his fingers against her lower lips, merely rubbing around the area, teasing her more.

"You sure about this?" He whispered into her ear, letting his hot breath dance along her neck and her body shivering to his specific touch.

"Please… touch me." Cinder softly spoke, her tone aroused yet fearful. Regardless of how much she wanted this, she was still a virgin. She heard a small gulp come from him and felt him swallow as his chest was against her back.

His fingers traced the outer lips leaving her tensing up, her entire body wracked by some unexpected heatwave that radiated from her core. She leaned against him pushing her body into his as he hit the bed's headboard.

"I'm going to push a finger in," Jaune stated, which Cinder merely mewled in ascent.

Slowly his thumb and forefinger spread her open, allowing her flower to open to the open air. She was dripping incessantly from the previous ministrations, and it didn't seem to stop anytime soon.

A single finger rubbed up and down her slit, lubricating itself from her own love juices. Before she could voice her want, Jaune pushed his entire middle finger inside her. He stopped just as he reached her hymen, taking care not to break it.

Cinder arched her back as she was pierced by his finger. It felt far better than when she used her own fingers. She felt his hand grasp her head, pulling her head into a sloppy kiss as his finger roamed inside her pussy, prodding every spot it could reach.

''Maybe… in over… head…' Cinder managed to parse out in her mind as Jaune picked up the pace letting another finger enter her.

His fingers' sudden intrusion and constant thrusting were too much as her entire body clenched up. Jaune couldn't even move his fingers anymore as her pussy clamped down on the two appendages now stuck inside her.

With a high-pitched scream, Cinder came squirting over his hand. Jaune quickly moved his position, making her release it over the edge onto the floor. Her arms wrapped around his head as her lower body spawned from the intense orgasm.

'More! More! More!' Cinder saw hearts as her whole body fell slightly against the bed. She wanted this now more than ever. Her passion ignited beyond all control. Jaune kept lying near the edge of the bed with her legs dangling over the edge. He knew that this was the chance he needed… the only chance he would get to make sure it would stop making her cum… no matter how much his own libido screamed at him for relief.

Grabbing her legs and cradling them on his shoulders, Jaune got on his knees and locked lips. Spreading her pussy with his tongue Jaune took the chance to eat Cinder out.

'Until she's unconscious, I don't stop!' Jaune mentally roared as he furiously lashed his tongue against her slit.

The constant lashings brought her clitoris out of hiding, allowing him to suck at it. Cinder gripped the sheets of his bed, desperately holding on. She had just climaxed, and he wasn't going to give her a chance to relax at all.

Another orgasm wracked her body too soon, causing her to gyrate her hips into Jaune's face. That motion intensified her own sensations, perpetuating her orgasmic bliss.

Every second she could feel his tongue tracing another section of her. Pushing through until it found a spot that made her spasm. He had seen three weak points at this point, making her mind slowly haze over.

Three… four… five… six… Jaune counted each time she had orgasmed, working his jaw to the utmost limit. It had started to go numb by the fifth, but he forced himself to push on.

Cinder couldn't hold on after the eighth orgasm as her entire body shut down. Her eyes rolled back in her head, and her body twitched from every sensation around her. The white shirt was drenched in sweat, and her legs dangled over the edge.

Lemon scene end

Jaune rubbed his jaw as he stood up. He was exhausted… most of him was, at least. Gazing down, he saw his member pitching a tent that threatened to pop free of its confines. Then his gaze settled on the prone form of Cinder before him. This was one of the downsides of his plans. He was still a hot-blooded male. He was still able to perform well beyond what he could. He was a marathoner, not a sprinter. He was forced to go on and on and on

Jaune slapped himself, breaking from his slight trance when he looked at Cinder. Removing her shirt, he used it to clean off her body from all the love juices she had let fly… even wiping himself off.

He tucked her into his bed and slowly went to the door. He didn't trust himself until he had taken care of his problem.

No one was outside the door when he looked, without noticing a small puddle on the floor, thanks to the doorframe blocking the moonlight from being reflective. With careful steps, he made his way to the bathroom and shower. With a shuddering sigh, Jaune forced himself into the cold water. He kept at it until he had calmed down. He sat on the toilet, shivering as he put his shorts back on, no longer encumbered by his throbbing problem. Entering his room once more, Cinder was still out like a light. At the very least, it looked that way. Her eyes were closed, and she had stopped completely twitching from the aftershocks. Jaune sighed as he carefully climbed into bed. He was utterly wrong as Cinder glared into his eyes and held him down underneath the covers. She wasn't entirely on top of him, though, merely letting her leg wrap around one of his while her left hand held down his right shoulder.

"Oh boy…" Jaune muttered.

"I wanted you inside me." Cinder pouted, staring deep into his eyes.

"And I was. I felt I hadn't actually earned what you wanted. Especially after less than a year of being an acquaintance." Jaune instinctively answered. He wasn't wrong that he didn't feel worthy of deflowering Cinder now. "Get to know me more, and if you still feel the same way, I promise I'll give you what you really want."

Cinder softened her glare staring into his eyes, looking for any sign of deceit. He wasn't lying. He was forthcoming and slightly old-fashioned, but that was something she liked a lot from Jaune (though she won't admit it).

The more Cinder thought about it, the more she started looking at her plan. She hadn't started her projects for Beacon's fall, even though she was of age already. She wanted to make something of herself as well. Those thoughts immediately made her realize just what she was doing… though she didn't regret wanting it in the first place.

The warm smile she let off eased Jaune's worries and thoughts. It was a start, at least.

"So long as you keep your promise, I can forgive you." Cinder smiled as she laid her head on his chest. "Now I know that you're capable… I have something to look forward to."

Jaune finally blushed at that thought. Cinder picked up on that, cuddling her body deeper into his letting her hand idly trail along his chest as she closed her eyes into a peaceful slumber.

'I just got played…' Jaune rubbed his hand down his face realizing that Cinder had just made him promise to do to her. The small, bemused smile on his face made him realize that no matter what, he would never understand a woman's heart.
