Hello there.

Well, I believe you an apology. The lemon will come next chapter. I did not realize this part would get so long and I would not wish to force you through a 12k chapter because this will be a long one. On the bright side, this won't really prolong your wait, just offer you a nice little snip bit.

Percy Jackson

Slightly more than a week later Percy finally embarked on his second endeavor as a God. He proudly sat at the Féro's helm, gazing out at sea. They were making good speed, maybe fifteen knots despite a steady headwind and rougher waves that let the boat pitch back and forth. His throttle was advanced to Ahead Half, and the engine purred like a kitten at lower RPMs.

He had left his proud residence behind in the capable hands of Silena and had left orders for her to visit her family, or camp, or his mother. It hadn't come as much of a surprise when his mother and the daughter of Aphrodite had hit it off.

Percy had even told Silena to invite over whoever she wanted and sincerely hoped that wouldn't backfire on him. He had also rescinded the alcohol ban, hoping that she'd act mature around the liquid. Truth be told, he simply didn't feel comfortable banning a young woman, a legal adult in her own right, from doing anything.

Percy locked in the heading hold and rose from the pilot's chair and popped the hatch to below deck and spotted Annabeth sitting at the dining room table, poring over ancient texts and naval maps, drawing headings with pencils and rulers.

The daughter of Athena's hair was tied up in a tight bun and she already wore full bronze armor with the helmet and sword resting on the table. Her Drakon Bone Sword lay on the table and her face was still covered in white sunscreen.

"Come on, Annabeth. I roughly know where I am going. Remember, I have perfect bearings?" he asked.

Annabeth looked up and transfixed him with those startling gray eyes of hers. "I know, can't hurt to cover our bases though," Annabeth replied.

"It's not too hot or cold...just soak up a few vitamins while you still can," Percy suggested.

"Why, already missing me?" Annabeth joked lightly.

Truth be told, he kind of did. What was the point of being stuck on a boat together with your gorgeous ex-girlfriend if you didn't actually get to spend time with her?

"So, did you find anything new so far?" Percy asked.

Annabeth shrugged and smiled at him brightly. "Nope, but we still need to travel about a thousand nautical miles. If we anchor to catch shut-eye, we'll be at sea for maybe five days," Annabeth replied.

"And why are you wearing armor?" Percy asked.

Annabeth shrugged and a small blush appeared on her cheeks. "Haven't gotten around to taking it off," Annabeth admitted and smiled at him.

"Well, come out of your hole. It's nice weather up here!" Percy suggested.

Annabeth sighed. "Let me get changed, Seaweed Brain. I'll be with you in a moment."

Sure enough, Annabeth soon joined him in the pilot's house and sat down in one of the jump seats.

"Status report?" Annabeth asked.

"On a parallel heading to the coast, making solid time," Percy announced, feeling rather pleased with himself.

"By the way, you need to visit your mom more often," Annabeth just threw in there.

"Aren't you playing the perfect daughter-in-law," Percy joked lightly, and Annabeth looked out of the window to hide her face. She couldn't hide the light blush though.

Your mom and I are friends," Annabeth muttered defensively

"Yeah," Percy said doubtfully. "Mom loves you."

"Well, can't blame Sally for having good taste," Annabeth joked and playfully punched his shoulder.

Percy looked Annabeth deep in the eyes. "You really can't."

Still looking slightly flustered, Annabeth rolled her eyes and stared out at sea.

"Watch out for that Oar freighter!" was all Annabeth said, pointing out a bulk freighter few miles away.

In the later hours of the day, they moored up on some dock in Moriches Bay to take up provisions, and the two of them headed for the closest Walmart.

It turned out that neither of them was an aspiring cook. Recently he had relied on Silena who in return was an excellent cook. Percy himself was at best a novice while Annabeth's cooking skills approached zero. The only cooking Percy had really mastered was making breakfast omelets. Those, in his humble opinion, were very good though. But he was leaning from Silena.

So they ended up buying a ten-pack box of mac and cheese, milk carts, breakfast cereal, and other easy-to-make meals, along with a few less-than-healthy snacks, some booze, and soft drinks. By the time they returned to the Féro, the sun was already setting.

They paid the docking fee, pulled in the mooring lines, and steamed straight out the bay, and turned for the open ocean. Wishing to get clear of the harbor and evade any fees they made for the open ocean before turning back to a parallel course with the coast.

They sat together in relative silence as they watched the sun slowly setting.

"You know, you got me real good with the Piper moving in? If our timetable holds, we'll have only a few days before I need to go to Oklahoma to help with the move?"

"Sorry... You heard anything new about her and Jason."

The look on the daughter of Athena's face spoke volumes. "That bad?" Percy asked.

"Yeah, according to Piper they haven't talked once this week. It's kinda sad because both are miserable. They aren't actually arguing over anything substantial." Then Annabeth shrugged. "Who I am to judge?" she then reasoned. "On a bright note, Hazel and Frank actually moved together in New Rome. They are sleeping in different rooms, bless them... don't think that'll last very long."

At this Percy also spewed out the soda he had been drinking. "I really don't need that mental image in my head, they are still almost children!"

Annabeth laughed, "Are you saying that if given the chance you wouldn't have slept in a bed with me when we were fifteen?"

Percy raised his bottle and snorted the soda, his nasal cavity suddenly filled with sugary liquid.

"Woman, at fifteen I wanted to do a lot more than just sleep in a bed with you," Percy joked and Annabeth sniggered. "Truth be told I spent more time jerking off you than I care to admit.."

"Another sign us women are just more evolved than men," Annabeth summarized. "I on the other hand wanted to spend the entire night talking to you and maybe hold hands."

"Sure," Percy replied. "Admit you wanted a piece of me. This here!" he said and beckoned at himself. "This was one hundred percent, A-grade demigod!"

"In your dreams,..." Annabeth joked and gave him a sideways glance, a mischievous grin curling her lips.

"Remember the first time we danced on Olympus during the winter solstice, after you saved me from Luke...?"

"How could I ever forget that?" Percy asked.

"Well, seeing as we are admitting our deepest and darkest secret, here we go. I fell hard for you there, like really hard. I swear, it was the first time I ever felt so attracted to someone as I was to you during that dance. Had you asked me out, I would have been your girl then and there."

"In fact," she added, giving him a conspiratorial look. "You were my hero there. Honestly, if you had made a move on me that night I would have willingly slept with you."

"Damn," Percy grunted. "I would have too."

Annabeth laughed out loud and Percy couldn't help himself but smile.

"You know," Percy said after a long moment. "As much as I would have loved to be with you then I regret nothing. How things are now doesn't seem too bad. You and me, right here? If getting in your pants early meant us getting together before I was ready, then I am happy I had to wait."

Judging by the smile Annabeth gave him, he had said the right thing.

A few miles off the coast they found a sandbank away from any real shipping lanes Percy flicked on the anchor light and tossed the two anchors overboard. Then the two of them headed into the galley and went to work.

As much as he would like to have had Annabeth on the menu, he settled on Mac and Cheese instead. As they cooked, Percy felt an odd sense of deja vu. After Annabeth managed to almost burn a pot full of boiling macaroni, Percy finally pushed her aside and took over himself. Only over the past few months, Silena had been the one doing the cooking and he had fulfilled the honorary function of holding random cooking utensils. For once it was the man at the stove and the woman holding a spatula, trying to look like she was busy.

Feeling rather smug indeed, Percy imagined this was what Gordon Ramsay felt like as he huffed at Annabeth and carefully mixed the milk and cheese powder before making somewhat of a show as he poured the mixture into the pasta and stirred it with vigor.

Silena Beauregard

The sad thing about being a slave? Well, apart from the obvious, she lacked a life. And so with Percy gone and not enough time to come up with different plans, she found herself descending down into the basement with a generous dinner of crackers, cheese cubes, and grapes. Goblets of iced nectar and red wine stood ready as refreshments and two rolls of blankets were stuffed under her left arm.

Why she was doing it? In all honesty, Silena did not know.

She unsealed the vault door and entered the cool interior, regardless.

Like she had last time, the goddess lay on her back and stared at the ceiling.

"Good morning, Snowflake!" Silena greeted the goddess.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?" Khione asked coolly as she entered the room.

"Our glorious overlord is off running an errand for Zeus. I thought you might be bored. I certainly was and I have this beautiful house and all the pleasures of Olympus to entertain me," she announced and set the tablet down in front of the cell's bars and spread out her blanket.

Khione rose to her feet and looked at Silena wearily. "Is this some sort of power play in who is higher in the harem's pecking order? I believe Perseus has made perfectly clear that you are to be my better."

Silena sniggered. "Harem?"

"Isn't that what it is?"

Silena shook her head sadly and sat down on her blanket and wrapped the blanket around her shoulders. "Well, looks like Percy is getting back with his home girl. I am the maid that he hooked up with, can't get rid of, and doesn't know what to really do with. You are the prisoner he really doesn't want to have, but can't really get rid of either. To summarize, we are one really freaky co-habitation arrangement. Would you join me?"

Khione actually laughed softly. "Freaky co-habitation arrangement. I must say, I've never heard a god's pleasure nest being referred to as such but I will let it stand."

Khione grabbed her own blanket and sat down just opposite of her on the other side of the bronze bards and Silena gave the goddess her share of the refreshments and snacks. "I ask again, what do I owe this pleasure to?"

"Seeing as fate seems to have united us, I thought we should get to know each other. It looks like we will be spending a lot of time together in the future."

"Fair enough," Khione reasoned. and took a sip from her nectar and exhaled. "I really needed that"

"So, what's Perseus's deal? Performance anxiety? No victorious hero keeps a disgraced goddess locked up in their basement and doesn't reap the fruits of his labor."

Silena sighed dramatically. "The truth is really boring. Percy is just a nice guy." Then she grinned at the imprisoned goddess.

Khione's permafrost demeanor warmed just a little and an amused spark appeared in her warm brown eyes.

"Don't spare me the details, daughter of Aphrodite. It isn't as if I have much else to amuse me."

Silena snorted quietly. "Sorry, but not sure if I should go into too much detail. If you are gunning for some action yourself you are probably out of luck. There is a certain daughter of Athena back in the picture."

"Hardly, but stories of frenzied nightly encounters between an enslaved daughter of Aphrodite and her handsome master might just help lift some of the weight that monotony is threatening to put on my shoulders."

Silena too took a sip of the godly drink and savours the flavor that brought forward so many childhood memories.

"So, what does the goddess of snow usually do? You know, when she isn't chained up or behind lock and key or plotting the downfall of Olympus?"

Khione rolled her eyes and pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Well, you might not believe it but figure skating is quite a hobby of mine, dancing too. I tried Ice sculpturing in the seventies, but it quickly turned out that I wasn't very good at it. One of my guilty pleasures is hot chocolate with marshmallows. Perhaps it's a seasonal thing. I also used to go hiking from time to time and enjoyed playing beach volleyball. Before my fall from grace, I also had two lovers that I occasionally permitted to entertain me but my father turned them into ice sculptures when I fell from grace... . What about you? I heard you too betrayed Olympus, consider me impressed."

"I never wanted to betray my friends,..." she began but stopped herself. "Honestly, before the war, I wasn't really that useful. Training, makeup, horseback, and pegasi riding... nothing really impressive. I used to write poetry before I died. Sadly I seemed to have lost inspiration since my resurrection. Since I entered Percy's service, I spent a lot of time working out, cleaning, and cooking. Had a short fling with Percy, though that is likely over now."

Khione looked somewhat disappointed at this as if having expected something juicier. Then she laced her fingers together and crossed her legs. "So tell me, what is going on in the wider world? Have the Olympians managed to drive Western Civilisation to the brink of annihilation again?"

Percy Jackson

The two of them sat in the boat, eating dinner to the tune of Avicii. The boat gently bounced to the rhythm of the sea and Percy basked in that immense power around him. Once they were done they made a joint effort out of dumping pots, knives, and forks in the sink. At home, he knew Silena would chew him a new one, but here they had all the power. There were no judgmental looks by tyrannical neat freaks.

"We should catch sleep while we can," Annabeth finally announced with a yawn.

Percy frowned, feeling slightly disappointed, but then grinned.

"You are probably right," he agreed and Annabeth retreated into her cabin.

For another hour or so Percy sat on the top deck and looked out at sea.

"The seasons are changing. Voyages will get more dangerous. The coming cold makes the creatures of the deep restless," a familiar voice greeted him.

Percy turned around and for some reason, wasn't surprised to see his father, Poseidon, the god of the seas, sitting in a camping chair next to him, holding a fishing line in the water on one of those long poles. Like Percy, he was tall, with the kind of muscular build that only a god could have, with striking sea-green eyes. His dark beard was well kept and shoulder-length hair was open to dance on the salty wind. All in all, it looked like Poseidon was enjoying a vacation.

Percy smoothly moved past his surprise. "Is that supposed to sound profound or something?" he asked.

Poseidon chuckled. "I try my best, my son. I see you have been neglecting your godly abilities and development," he noticed.

Percy shrugged. "Never needed them, never wanted them. So far it has only caused me a migraine. I guess I will eventually, but I really do not see any urgency there. There are far more pressing matters."

Poseidon nodded and pulled two cans of beer from a cooler that only then began to exist and tossed him one of the cold cans.

They popped the lids, and Percy took a deep sip.

"Just so you know, I have a place ready for you under the sea. If Hera, Zeus, or your women ever go on your nerves..."

"Thanks, I think that might come in handy..." Percy agreed.

"So, the seasons are changing?" Percy asked conversationally.

"Yes, you should probably not take too much time with this. There is bad weather coming up from the north. Nothing that will founder a fine vessel like this but something tells me Ms Chase is less suited to rougher seas," he warned. "Sea monsters also grow restless when autumn comes around. Food becomes scarce in the winter."

"Thanks for the heads up," Percy replied.

"I trust your mother is doing well, if she or her baby need anything she only needs to ask," Poseidon suddenly announced out of the blue.

Something told him that this was why Poseidon had really come by. "Mom looks like she is doing fine. Paul and Annabeth are taking good care of her."

They chatted for a few more minutes before Poseidon finally retreated back into the ocean.

Percy decided to call it a night and retired to his own cabin. The gentle bouncing of the boat on the waves quickly had him dozing off.

It felt as if only moments had passed when Percy suddenly jerked awake as someone knocked on the door.

"Yes," Percy asked.

The door to his cabin and he could just make out Annabeth standing in the doorway, wearing what looked like no more than a camp shirt and her panties. The part of him that desired this woman noted that she wasn't wearing any bra and her nipples were poking through the fabric or how toned and long her legs were. As usual her long main of golden blond curles was tied up in a ponytail.

"Care for some company?" Annabeth asked cautiously, as if not sure if she was overstepping.

"Sure," Percy said and sat up. Then he patted the bunk next to him and pulled a pillow closer for Annabeth to sit on.

She took the offered seat and folded her toned legs.

"So what's on your mind, Wise Girl?" Percy asked.

Annabeth shrugged. "Nothing really..., just felt a bit lonely."

For some reason, it took this long for Percy to realize that perhaps Annabeth might have come over, hoping that things would get frisky.

Something told him that this wasn't the case. Maybe it was the way her shoulders were slightly summit or how she was hugging herself. He knew horny Annabeth, and this wasn't it.

"You know you can just stay here. I won't judge," Percy pointed out offhandedly. "I swear, I will be a perfect gentleman and keep my hands to myself."

Annabeth laughed softly and bumped his shoulder.

"Had I known you'd make it this easy, I would have come over an hour ago," Annabeth mumbled.

Grinning, Percy wrapped an arm around her and pulled her closer, then hooked his other arm under her knees, and pulled her onto his lap. Annabeth yelped when he let himself fall back and then pulled her across him until Annabeth was trapped between himself and the wall. As he pulled her over, Annabeth bumped her foot on the top of the bunk's alcove.

"Ouch! You could have just told me which side to sleep on," Annabeth cried out in exasperation, rubbing her foot.

"Sorry," Percy replied and threw the blanket over Annabeth. She raised her head and let him lace his arm under her neck like he had many times and rest the side of her face against her cheek. Her hair fanned out across his torso, tickling his skin ever so slightly. He was very aware of her sweet form pressing against his.

After a few moments, he felt something dripping down his chest and realized that Annabeth was silently crying into his chest. Something told him that her crying had nothing to do with her bumping her foot.

"Good night, Wise Girl," Percy said and kissed the front of her head. Deciding to let Annabeth deal with her emotions with some privacy, he closed his eye. With her familiar scent in the air, Percy soon drifted back off to sleep, her warm body pinned between himself and the wall.

Well, this is it. I very much enjoyed writing this chapter. The next will too one-hundred percent have the sex scene. Really looking forward to playing my favorite pair again. Anyway, while you are there check out "The First Dance." Otherwise, pop by on discord. I have some spicy fan/art there. Some Annabeth stuff is in the making, maybe some more Khione stuff too. I also have "Piper's revenge fantasy" up. I think it will be to your taste. Discord IP is: /9kT6Qbn. Let me know what you guys would like to see happen to Annabeth in the next chapter and how you think stuff will work out. Also having Khione "warm up" to Silena. In-depth editing will follow. If you see any spelling or grammar mistakes, screenshot them and post them in the dedicated section on discord. I will fix them ASAP.

With regards,

Henry James Locker over and out.
