In the kitchen of the Noceda residence, a sad Luz had gotten on her laptop out to record a video diary. "Dear diary, today is March 20th and it's my 15th birthday. So, it's my Quinceanera today which is a Hispanic tradition. It's been a month since my friends arrived in the Human Realm to take up temporary residence. My girlfriend taking Connecticut of course. My cut on my eyebrow has developed into a scar." She pointed to her eyebrow scar. "It hurts to be reminded of what happened in the Demon Realm, but Sasha said it made me look badass. Amity agreed and began stroking it before she kissed it." She touched her scar. "I guess, I do look kind of cool. I'm going back to school now and thankfully I've had Marcy and Masha by my side to keep me company. We've been hanging out so much that Amy and her girl group had dubbed us the Loser Trio. Mean but it's fitting. Speaking of Masha, they have been dating my sister, Vee. I'm really happy for them two. I mean, after being tortured by Belos for years and escaping, it's so great that Vee has found a family, friends and a partner. Though, Marcy is kind of weirded out that a human is dating a demon from another dimension. And speaking of Marcy, she's been getting a lot of therapy so she won't be coming to school today due to her therapist being rather persistent that she come in today. Since today is my Quinceanera, mom is gonna help prepare the party along with Vee and Amity. I'm excited turning 15 but….There's a tradition that happens that….." Tears began to well up in her eyes. "….I'll never do. I'll see you next time diary." She hung up to go to school.

One day earlier, Camila had gotten people close to Luz to have a meeting in the living room. This included Amity, her daughter's girlfriend; Vee, her adopted daughter; Masha, her other daughter's partner; And Marcy, her daughter's friend.

"Alright kids, you know what tomorrow is?" Camila asked.

"Friday." Masha replied.

"Yes, that, but what is it importantly?" Camila asked.

"My therapy session." Marcy replied.

"But more important!" Exclaimed Camila.

"Luz's birthday." Amity replied.

"Or Quinceanera as it is in Dominican traditions." Vee replied.

"Muy bueno!" Camila exclaimed. "Well done Vee and Amity."

"Thanks." Vee said.

"So, I've already thought of a plan for Luz's special day." Camila said. "I-"

"Don't worry Camila!" Marcy interjected as she shoved Camila aside. "I knew this day was coming up so a few days earlier I got to the internet to study…." She opened up her journal to show a perfect drawing of Luz in a dress along with her family, friends and extended family. "….Quinceanera traditions! Okay, so there's the gown and dress. Luckily, I learnt dressmaking from Lady Olivia so, I made her a dress!"

Camila awkwardly coughed, causing Marcy to catch her attention. "Marcy, Luz is not exactly a dress person."

"Huh?" Marcy asked.

"She doesn't particularly like dresses." Amity replied. "She likes more….sanazzier outfits. Shirts, shorts and suits as such."

"Oookay!" Marcy looked a tad disappointed. "Gave myself, three stitches while making that!" She showed her hand, which was covered in stitches. Causing everyone to flinch, while Darcy was chuckling.

"It was funny."

"What colour is it?" Vee asked.

"Orange." Marcy replied.

"I'll have it."

"Guess I can cut it to size." Marcy said. "Okay, there's a venue. Now, I'm aware that Luz's cousin held her Quinceanera at the Plaza, I made a few seating arrangements."

Camila coughed again. "We're having it here. In the garden."

"Okay, I have made seating arrangements as well for that venue in case." Marcy said. "And that is guests."

Camila coughed. "Actually, Luz requested her party to be small."

"Okay! She is the Quinceanera girl." Marcy said. "Now, we have a mass and….I'm gonna assume you're going to tell me you're not exactly religious?"

"Yup." Camila said.

"Yeah. I don't know if I'm allowed in a church." Marcy said. "I accidentally spilt some holy water one time and have been forbidden to go in one. Now, the father/daughter dance. Now, where is her old man?" There was an awkward silence as Marcy looked around the room to see how sad everyone looked. This led her to realise that he will never dance with his daughter. "Oh, right. Sorry. Should have known!"

"Marcy, don't worry about it." Camila assured her. "Leave the party to me. You need to have your therapy. But if you want, you could go round to my place and help out with the decorations. Is that fine."

"Just don't let me cook." Marcy said. "Last time I cooked, I burnt most of my house down and you would not believe the damage bills. My dad had to sell his car."

Camila gave a nervous laugh. "Riiiiight." She then walked towards Vee. "Vee, lo digo en serio, ¡no dejes que Marcy se acerque a ningún equipo de cocina! I have enough bills as it is!"

The next day, while Luz went to school and Camila went to work, Amity and Vee were busy at the Noceda home in the garden preparing the party.

Amity was busy preparing the chairs, Vee was setting up the buffet table while one of Amity's abominations was blowing some balloons for the party.

"I can't believe it." Vee remarked. "Luz is turning 15!"

"I know!" Amity exclaimed. "It's exciting."

"So, do you have a present for Luz?" Vee asked.

Amity grinned. "Does a kiss count as a gift?"

"Like you don't kiss her everyday." Vee retorted.

Amity chuckled. "Of course. But she'll like my gift anyway. What did you get her?"

"I read traditional Quinceaneras have something that prepares young girls who turn 15 into womanhood." Vee replied. "I specifically designed this doll the other day in preparation."

"You design dolls?" Amity asked.

"Masha taught me." Vee replied. "Though, it was technically voodoo doll crafting I used it to craft a doll that isn't at all voodoo."

"Speaking of Masha…" Amity gave her possible future sister-in-law a grin. "….How are things?"

Vee turned red in the face. "Things are going great! I didn't think that anything would happen between me and them."

"Have you two kissed?"

Vee turned red and hid her face in a banner that read 'Happy birthday.' "Amity! No, just simple cheek kisses but not on the lips. Though, I don't know what would happen if we kissed on the lips. I mean, I'm a Basilisk and they're a human. I mean, who knows what would happen if two different species kiss each other?" She looked at Amity, who just pointed at herself with a deadpanned look. It took a second for Vee to figure out. "Oh yeah. Of course you and Luz have kissed multiple times."

"Of course." Amity said. "Trust me, Vee, being kissed is like one of the greatest feelings you'll ever feel."

"I should hope so." Vee said. "Is there anything else you plan to do with Luz today besides giving her whatever gift you're about to give her?"

Amity's smile vanished as it turned into a sympathetic look. "I'm going to visit Mr Noceda's grave today with Luz and Camila after she's done with school."

"Do you think she'll be okay at school?" Vee asked.

"I hope so." Amity replied. "Because I don't know what I'd do if she isn't."

Meanwhile at school, Luz and Masha were sitting in the crowded cafeteria sitting across from each other on a singular table, having lunch together. Masha was having a cheese burger with some fries while Luz was having some lasagna.

The birthday girl was looking depressed as she ate her dinner while Masha was happily eating their lunch. They took notice of Luz looking so down and decided to start a conversation.

"Hey birthday girl, what's going on with you?" Masha asked. "Isn't a birthday supposed to be a happy time?"

"Not when you happen to be 15." Luz replied.

"Oh my goddess, you should have seen my cousin, Chloe when she turned 15." Masha said. "I mean, the hormones on that girl!"

"No, not that." Luz said. "It's just, you know it's my 15th birthday, right? Quinceanera tradition between a dad and daughter."

Masha eventually figured out what Luz was saying and gave her a sympathetic look. "Oh yeah. Sorry."

"I'm sad that I can't do this tradition." Luz said. "And I don't really have many of my family coming over due to everything that has happened."

"Haven't you thought of having Vee turn into your dad?" Masha asked.

"I did." Luz replied. "But, I thought it would be too much for me as nice as it sounds."

"If you want I could perform a resurrection." Masha said. "I've been trying it out on one of the dead animals that has been found recently."

Luz chuckled. "And cause a zombie apocalypse? Nah."

"Fair." Masha remarked. "Anyone I know coming to the party?"

"You, Mom, Amity, Vee, Marcy and her parents." Luz replied. "Something small as much as I'd like my family to come over. I've disappointed them. Just like I did with Dad."

Masha almost choked on their burger and gave a nervous laugh. "Dude, your dad won't be disappointed with you."

"But I'm 15 today." Luz said sadly. "You're all proud of me for what I've accomplished, I just don't know if my dad will ever be. Being a weirdo, failing at making friends, struggling in school…." Luz had tears falling from her eyes as her guilt began to weigh her down once again. "….Failing to be there for the Boiling Isles."

Masha gave Luz a concerned look. "Luz, not this again. You can't let a few mistakes let you down like that. I think your dad would be proud of what you have accomplished. You know, you did save Amphibia, that's gotta be worth something."

"Yeah, but I didn't deserve the full credit." Luz said sadly. "I want my Dad to be proud of me, but I don't think he will be." Luz wiped away some sad tears before Masha reached into their pocket to pull out a packet of tissues they handed to Luz, who began to wipe her eyes with them.

Then, Amy and a group of her friends arrived. "Oh hey, Luz." Amy said in a mocking tone of voice.

Luz sighed. "What do you want, Amy?"

"Do you want me to make you cry again?" Masha asked. "Because if you do anything to upset her, I would."

"Don't worry, we came to wish Luz a happy Quinceanera." Amy said before her girlfriends nodded their heads in agreement.

"Oh, thanks." Said the surprised Luz while Masha looks at Luz's bully in suspicion.

"Yeah, I really studied Quinceaneras." Amy said. "You know, to prepare to tell you how much of a great deal it is to reach 15."

"You're not even 15." Masha retorted.

"Shut up." Amy said. "Anyway, such a great time to turn 15. I mean, the birthday toasts, the gifts, the last doll, the changing of the shoes and the daddy/daughter dance." Luz gave a small gasp while Amy gave a mocking gasp. "Oh, sorry. I forgot. Your dad died." Luz was about to storm off, but Masha grabbed her wrist.

"I got it, Luz." Masha said. "She only said this stuff because her dad abandoned her."

"What?!" Amy exclaimed.

"Yeah, your dad ran out on you right before you were born." Masha said. "And you know what, you're kind of jealous of Luz because she knew her dad before he punched his ticket while you never knew your dad so you take your pathetic insecurity out on her instead of, I don't know, mocking someone whose dad ran out on her. Now, what would your dad say? Ohhhh, too soon?"

Amy's lips wobbled before she ran away crying and her friends following to calm her down. Luz looked at Masha with an impressed look and a raised eyebrow.

"Hey Masha, that was kind of harsh don't you think?" Luz asked.

"Do you have any idea how much of a cliche it is to mock someone for having a dead parent?" Masha asked. "It's like they want people to hate them."

"I mean, it's an impressive skill that you can read people like that." Luz said. "You sure you don't want to be a therapist?"

"Nah, I prefer to work as a curator." Masha replied. "But speaking of therapy, how do you think Marcy is doing with her therapy? Do you think she told them that much?"

"I mean, it's not like the therapist is that bad." Luz said.

At a doctor's office, Marcy was talking to her therapist, Dr Incognito. A pale man with a moustache, smooth black hair and sitting on the couch with his feet on the couch while he made notes. While Marcy sat from across him as she told what was going on with her.

"So, after that incident with Jacob Hopkins you went back to school?" Dr Incognito asked.

"Yeah." Marcy replied. "Same school as Luz and Masha."

"Have you been doing well there?" Dr Incognito asked. "Even after everything that happened at Amphibia and the Demon Realm?"

"Well, things have been fine." Marcy replied.

"You know, I heard outside my office you've been talking to someone." Dr Incognito remarked.

"Just one of the patients." Marcy lied.

"There were no other patients here." Dr Incognito replied.

Darcy then showed up to sit next to Marcy's therapist. "Aren't you too ashamed to be talking about me?" They asked mockingly. "Awww! That's sad!"

Marcy stared at them with terror before going back to a forced calm composure. "Sorry, I was looking at that picture behind you."

"You mean that giant Rorschach?"

"Yes." Marcy lied. "That giant Rorschach."

"You know how they work?" Dr Incognito asked.

"Yeah."

"What do you see?"

When Marcy looked at the Rorschach, she saw Darcy staring sinisterly at her. She flinched before going back to her calm look. "Sorry. I saw…..A horse."

"Must be one scary one." Dr Incognito remarked.

"You know what I see looking back at me?" Darcy asked. "A gorgeous body I will be taking over soon!"

"Anyway, you mentioned that your friend Masha was dating Luz's basilisk sister, Vee." He said.

"Yup."

Dr Incognito looked confused. "And…How does that work exactly?"

"What do you mean?" Marcy asked.

"They're technically a demon reptile from the Demon Realm." Dr Incognito pointed out. "Does that kind of count as beast…."

"No!" Marcy interjected. "What made you draw to that conclusion?!"

"Sorry! Sorry!" He said. "I mean, I guess it's kind of fine once Vee shape changes into a human."

Dr Incognito made notes. "Okay. Okay. Though I'm still going to question it once we continue our next session."

"Okay." Marcy said. "Hey, what time is it?"

"Time for our session to conclude." Dr Incognito replied as he stood up. "Got anything you're doing today?"

"I'm gonna help Vee and Amity finish up the decorations for Luz's birthday." Marcy replied. "Quinceanera more specifically."

"Ah, an important day in Hispanic cultures." The therapist remarked. "The day a girl turns into a woman."

"Yeah, though judging by Luz's personality, I doubt she'll grow up." Marcy and Dr Incognito both shared a laugh. Though his laugh was more awkward and creepy, which caused Marcy to be uncomfortable.

"I'll see you next time Marcy." The Doctor said.

"Yeaaaaaah." Marcy left the building so she can walk to the Noceda residence.

While walking, Darcy suddenly appeared behind her. "I don't like him, at all. How long do you think you can hide me?"

"Until I find a way to deal with you." Marcy replied.

Darcy grinned. "Yeah, nice try. The process is slow, but at least I'm slowly taking over."

"Uh, remind me as to why you think Dr Incognito is suspicious?" Marcy asked.

"His name is literally Incognito!" Darcy argued. "How can this guy not be suspicious?"

"Maybe bad luck?" Marcy theorised.

Up in the building, Dr Incognito removed his moustache and ruffled his hair to make it more messy, revealing himself to be K. He took a jelly bean from a random bowel and ate it as he grinned.

"Your information has been rather useful, Marcy." K said before pulling out his phone so he could look at footage of Masha and Vee having dates. With Vee in her human form obviously. The two were having a movie date, then there was one of them sharing ice cream together, the two cuddling in the park together and another of Masha trying to hide Vee whom was running out of magic and slowly turning back to Basilisk form. "Hmm, I find it intriguing you're with that thing, Masha Bratton. I'll see you tonight. About time we encounter each other face-to-face."

Then, a man with grey hair and a grey moustache entered the office. "Are you done pretending to be me?"

"Yes, thank you Dr Incognito." K said.

Meanwhile at the Noceda residence, Vee and Amity were looking through a recipe of how to make a dairy free chocolate cake. They had the recipes out on the kitchen counter which Amity was looking over to make sure they didn't miss any.

"Okay, I think that's everything." Amity said. "You sure you can handle it Vee?"

"Oh yeah, I can." Vee replied. "I made a cake before. Though, I did destroy the old cake mixer so you can imagine how that must have looked."

"Messy." Amity said.

"Like I said Amity, you don't need to worry about me." Vee assured her before Marcy entered the house.

"Hey yoooooo, party people!" Marcy exclaimed before accidentally tripping. This made Vee freeze as she realised what this meant.

"Uh oh." Vee said.

Amity cringed. "I'll wish you the best Vee."

Marcy stood up and dusted herself off. "Hey girls." Marcy said.

"Hey Marcy." Vee and Amity responded.

"How was therapy?" Amity asked.

"Eh, just told someone about everything that's happened." Marcy said.

"Uh, how much about us did you tell them about?" Amity asked.

"Relax." Marcy blew a raspberry. "A therapist isn't allowed to reveal information regarding their clients. Even when it comes to crimes. I think. I mean, if so, someone should have thought about it when they invented it."

Amity looked over Marcy's shoulder and saw Camila's car parking up. "Oh, that's Camila." She took some flowers that were on the coffee table and ran out of the house. "See you in a couple of hours, girls. And don't you dare damage the suit! It means so much to Luz." Amity ran out of the house so she can jump into Camila's car to pick up Luz so they can visit her father's grave.

Once she left, Marcy looked at Vee whom was narrowing her eyes at her. "You better not make a mess."

"Relax, the suit won't be damaged." Marcy said.

"That's because we hid it really well." Vee said. "And also, the cake. I don't want you spilling it on yourself."

"Don't worry…." Marcy tore off her clothes to reveal that she was wearing a red tuxedo underneath along with a bow tie. "….What do you think?"

"Did you really need to tear your own clothes off?" Vee asked.

"Not really." Marcy replied. "So I bought specially crafted tear-'em' clothes designed to look like mine for this occasion." Marcy then looked worried. "At least, I hope I did. Anyway, I'm hungry. Mind if I make myself some lunch?"

"We have some of the birthday snacks at the ready outside. You can make yourself a sandwich." Vee replied.

"Okay, thanks." Marcy said before walking out the house and into the backyard to make herself a sandwich.

Once Marcy left to make herself some lunch, Vee went back to making Luz's birthday cake. Vee picked up a cup of sugar and began to look at it. "Huh, did I put enough in? Uh, I hope enough." Then, the basilisk heard the sound of something crashing outside. She sighed and groaned. "Please let it be a car crash instead of Marcy destroying the table."

When she slithered outside, she saw Marcy on the floor with all sorts of food and snacks all over herself and with a destroyed table. "Hey Vee!"

Vee sighed. "Marcy, how did this happen?" She asked as she slithered toward Marcy.

"Oh, I cut myself with a knife while making myself a sandwich." Marcy said.

"Oh no!" Vee groaned. "You didn't cut yourself too deep did you?"

Marcy looked at the cut on her finger. "I don't think so." Then, some blood squirt out and hit Vee in the face. "Oooooh, that's not deep right?"

Darcy then showed up from behind Vee. "Well don't just stand there you stupid basilisk! I can't have my body die from blood loss!"

"Oh no!" Vee exclaimed before she took Marcy by the arm and dragged her inside the house to get her some band aids.

When they got in the kitchen, Vee was looking in every cupboard for a band aid for Marcy. "Don't worry Vee, I'll be fine. I once suffered a bad fall that broke my leg and my bone was sticking out."

"I'm not just worried about you, I'm worried about the cake as well. I can't have any blood in it!"

"Uh, what about the flour?" Marcy asked.

"What?!" Vee exclaimed.

"Some blood just squirted into the flour." Marcy replied.

Vee squealed. "Put pressure on it to stop the bleeding!"

Marcy put pressure on her cut finger while the basilisk search through the medicine cabinet. "Ahhh! Bathroom!" She slithered into the bathroom while Marcy just stood near the kitchen to stop the bleeding.

Then, some more blood accidentally squirted out and hit the window and even some landed in the cake mix.

Vee panicked in fear and pushed Marcy into the living room. "How much blood do humans have?!"

"Approximately 1.2 to 1.5 gallons." Marcy replied. "Or ten…"

"Rhetorical, question!" Vee interjected as she placed Marcy on the couch. "Oh man! The cake is ruined!"

"Don't worry, it'll turn out great in the end." Then some blood squirted on the Dominican Republic flag that was hung on the wall. Vee narrowed her eyes at Marcy while she grinned nervously. "Do you think she'll notice it? It squirted on one of the red parts."

Vee sighed. "I need help."

Outside of Luz's school, she and Masha were exiting the school together. Masha had their phone out as they saw that they had a text.

"Text from Vee."

"What does it say?" Luz asked.

"Get these recipes." They showed Luz the list Vee sent them.

"Wait, we have those at home." Luz said.

Then another text went through. "Unless you want blood in the birthday cake. Specifically, Marcy's blood."

Luz groaned. "Oh no! What did she do?!"

Then another text went through. "Cut herself while making sandwich."

"I hope she's okay." Luz then looked forward and began narrowing her eyes at something while another text went through.

"Says Marcy's okay, she is just not allowed to touch anything before the party." Masha replied. "Well, good thing I have plenty of money." They then noticed Luz narrowing her eyes at something. "Hey, what's the matter?"

"That man over there."

Masha looked forward and saw a white haired young man close to eighteen to nineteen reading a book about Gravesfield.

"Oh come on!" The man exclaimed. "This town has a supernatural history?! Well, just as long as nothing supernatural happens to me, I'm staying."

"You mean the new town motivational speaker, Gideon?" Masha asked.

"No, not him." Luz pointed to a well toned suited man with greying hair and a moustache dialling a number on his phone. "Over there."

It didn't take long for Masha to figure out what was going on as they saw that it was the man who killed Luz's dad many years ago. "It's him."

"Yes."

"Can't believe that son of a bitch is still here." Masha said. "Why though?"

"I don't know." Luz replied. "Do you think I should go up to him and tell him his daughter is dead?"

"No." Masha grabbed Luz by the arm to stop her. "You don't want to make things worse."

"How can I?" Luz asked. "Seems only fair. He killed my dad, I killed his daughter."

"You didn't!" Masha argued. "It was Belos! If anything you'd essentially be mocking him that his daughter, need I remind you whom was your friend and ally, is dead."

Luz sighed. "You're right. I'm just angry that I have to see his face every day."

Masha picked up a rock on the ground and positioned themselves to aim for the back of Preston's head. "Hey Luz, watch this."

They threw the rock on the back of Mr Northwest's head, causing him to drop his phone. Luz gasped while Masha looked shocked.

Preston turned and narrowed to the two students on the school stairs. "Who did this?!" He asked angrily.

"He did!" They pointed towards Gideon who looked at the man in confusion.

"Preston?" Gideon reacted.

"You!" Preston narrowed his eyes angrily at Gideon and began running towards him. "You think you can just get revenge on me for refusing that Gleeful/Northwest partnership?!"

Gideon froze and began running for his life. "I didn't do anything!"

"Get back here Gideon!" Preston demanded as he continued to chase him. "I demand that you stop! I'll bribe you to stop!"

Luz was at first surprised but then smiled at Masha. "Thanks."

"I've always wanted to throw a rock at a murderous scumbag." Masha said.

Then, the Noceda car arrived outside of the school and Luz saw her girlfriend in the backseat. She smiled as she began walking down the stairs. "See you at the party." Luz said as she got in the car to sit next to her girlfriend.

"See you soon." Masha said before they began to walk to the store.

While they walked, they walked past K restraining Preston from hitting Gideon. "But he threw a rock at me!" Preston argued.

"You'd be committing parole violations!" K argued. "And you just got out nearly two months ago!" He then noticed Masha walking down the street and gave a suspicious grin. "Good to see you Masha." But as he stared at them walk, Preston managed to free himself to look for Gideon. "Mr Northwest! Stop!"

At the Gravesfield cemetery, the sad Luz was standing in front of her dad's grave with flowers in her hand while Camila and Amity were standing from afar, in case she needed them.

"Should we go up to her?" Amity asked.

"She wants to do this alone." Camila replied. "But she'll let us know when she needs us."

Luz stood in front of the grave unsure of what to say to her dad. She hadn't visited a grave since the last anniversary of his passing because she was in Amphibia trying to save the realm from extinction.

She felt guilty that she didn't visit him, feeling like he didn't care about her apology no matter how hard she tried to plead. She placed the bouquet of flowers on the spot where he was buried and took a deep breath.

"Hi Dad." Luz said. "It's me, your daughter. I….I'm sorry I didn't show up on our little ritual. I was a little busy with some responsibilities of my own. If I told you about everything that has happened to me, you probably won't believe me." She then pointed at her scar. "Don't worry about that. I got it from a fight from someone. His name was Phillip, he was just a jerk." She sighed. "Look Dad, things have been going good and bad with me. I have friends. A ton actually. Though some do live in either L.A or Oregon, but I have friends in good old Gravesfield. I helped a few friends with problems and even helping with one of my friends with some trauma that she has. Mom's doing okay at the moment. We have had our ups and downs from time-to-time but we pulled through. Plus…." She blushed. "….I met someone." She made a bit of a hand gesture that Amity and Camila saw from afar.

Amity knew that this signal meant that Luz needed Amity. The witch walked towards her girlfriend and wrapped her arm in her's. "You okay?"

"Yeah. Dad, this is Amity, my girlfriend."

Amity gave a sympathetic wave at her girlfriend's dad's grave. "Hi there. Your daughter means so much to me."

"Thanks Sweet Potato." Luz said. "We met when she bullied one of my new friends and I stood up for her."

"But, because of her, I changed who I was and stood up to my horrible mother." Amity said.

"Yeah. And we got together after some heated tension between us." Luz said. "And you know that today is an important day for me. I'm turning 15 today. Yup, my Quinceanera. I hope you're proud of me for the person I've grown up to be. I wish that today you'd be here with me today because it would be nice to have that dance with you." Tears began to fall from her eyes, something that Amity noticed and wrapped her arm around her shoulder. "But, least I have the people that care about me for today and I hope you're proud of me, regardless of what I've done." She got down on her knee and kissed the gravestone while Amity just watched on. "Te amo, papá, y te extrañaré."

She stood up and began walking towards the tree with Amity following behind. As she passed her mother whom was walking to visit her husband, she pressed her hand on her daughter's shoulder and the two shared a smile.

"Hey Luz, I'm glad you talked to your father." Amity said.

"Me too." Luz said. "I would have mentioned you being a witch from another world, but I thought I'd save it for the next visit."

"I think he'd be fine with me regardless of what I am." Amity said. "But, I think he'll be most proud of the daughter that you grew up to be. Like how I'm proud of the girlfriend right in front of me." The two shared a smile before hugging each other. The witch kissed her girlfriend's cheek while in the hug while Luz looked guilty since she felt like her father wouldn't be proud of her due to the mistakes she made.

At the Noceda residence, Masha had arrived with a grocery bag in their hand. "Okay Vee, I got everything on the list and….." They saw some blood on the window and some of the carpets. They walked in the living room and saw Marcy sitting there with a band aid on her finger.

She gave Masha a wave. "Hey Masha!"

"Marcy!" Masha exclaimed. "What happened? This place is a horror show."

"I cut my finger." Marcy replied.

"I know, but….How much blood do you have?" Masha pondered. "And you even have blood on your suit?"

Marcy looked at her suit and groaned. "Dang it! Well, good thing this suit is tearable as well." She tore off her suit to reveal that she had a spare suit underneath. "But this suit is not tearable so I better be prepared."

Vee slithered down the stairs and gave a relived sigh. "Thank Titan you're here." She approached her partner.

"Anything for my Basilisk girlfriend." They kissed Vee on her forehead.

"Still weirds me out." Marcy said.

"Stay there Marcy!" Vee commanded.

"It's okay, I was planning to continue writing my fan fiction." Marcy assured her as she got her phone out and began writing some Cynthia Coven. "Oh, and thanks for saving me."

Darcy then appeared in front of her. "And thank goodness she did save you, I wouldn't have had a body to take over."

"Were there any setbacks?" Vee asked as she and them went into the kitchen to prepare Luz's cake.

"Well, some blonde dude with a cool scar was fighting with some blonde weirdo with an obsession with sparkles." Masha replied.

"Sounds random." Vee remarked.

"And I designed you your dress." Masha said. "I hope it'll be the right fit for when you try it on later."

"Did I say I needed you to make me a dress?" Vee asked.

"Well, luckily I made a suit." Masha replied.

"No, answer my question; Did I say I needed you to make me a dress?" Vee asked.

"Uh….No." Masha replied.

"Because….." Vee then shape changed into her human form but only she was wearing a yellow dress that made Masha blush. "….I already have my dress."

"Wow….That is….Hot." Masha remarked.

"I mean, you aren't technically wearing anything though." Marcy said. "I mean, even with a dress, she is still technically scales."

Masha shrugged their shoulders. "Eh, I don't mind. She can wear any skin she wants. She'll still be gorgeous to me."

Vee then shape changed back into her basilisk form. "Aww! Thanks sweetie." She and Masha then leaned in and began to share a kiss on the lips.

Marcy became weirded out by this sight and cringed. "Oh….This is weirder than I thought. I mean, I imagined what it'd be like but this is just weird! Look, I don't have any problems with you two as a couple, but ya know….human….basilisk…It's just….Weird!" But the two still continued to kiss. "Okay, are you two just continuing to kiss just to annoy me?" The two continued their little kissing session, ignoring what Marcy said. "Or maybe basilisks are surprisingly good kissers. But who cares this is just….Odd!" She walked back into the living room.

Once Marcy left, the two pulled out of the kiss and smiled at each other. "Wow!" Vee said. "That kiss was amazing."

"Yeah. First kisses are amazing." Masha remarked. "And I don't think that this will ever top any other partner I may have in the future."

The two stared at each other, blushing before the basilisk made a cough. "We better start making that cake."

"Oh yeah, totally." Masha agreed.

A few hours later, Luz, Camila and Amity made their return from the cemetery luckily at the point where Vee and Masha had finished making their cake. But, they motioned Amity to cover Luz's eyes so they won't ruin the surprise.

Once Luz went upstairs to get ready and to check on her Palisman egg, everyone had made a few finishing touches on the outside party. Plus, the rest of the Wus arrived to be acquainted with Camila, Masha and Vee. Though, it took them some time to accept that a human was dating a weird shapeshifting demon.

A few hours after returning home, Luz was in her bedroom admiring herself in the reflection of her bedroom mirror. She was dressed in a fancy suit which came with a light green bow tie.

She adjusted her sleeve and made a bit of a pose in the mirror. "Nice look, Noceda." She then turned to her egg that was being warmed by her desk lamp to see if it would hatch. But one month later, it still hasn't hatched. She walked towards her egg and began to stroke it. "Hope you'll hatch soon little buddy. Because I could use someone else right now to convince me I'm not a bad person." Tears began to fall until she heard a knock at her door. She quickly wiped away her tears. "I'm ready!"

The door opened to reveal Amity in a purple dress that looked purple like an Abomination. The mere sight of her girlfriend in that dress made Amity blush.

"Wow?" Amity asked.

"Wow!" Luz responded.

Amity approached her girlfriend to adjust her bow tie since it looked kind of out of place. "Looking sharp and beautiful, Luz."

"Thanks." Luz said.

"And I'm sorry about this." Amity said before she placed a sack on Luz's head.

Luz laughed nervously. "What's with the sack? Are you kidnapping me?"

"Marcy tried lighting the candles on your cake, but instead lit all the blindfolds on fire." Amity replied. "Just don't ask how she did it."

And so, in the darkness of the sack, Amity managed to lead her girlfriend out of the room, down the stairs, accidentally bumping into a wall, pass the kitchen and to the backyard.

"Are we here?" Luz asked before she felt the weight of the sack be removed from her head to see a beautiful sight.

In the garden were her mother dressed in a beautiful suit and skirt, Marcy in her snazzy suit and bow-tie, Masha in a turquoise suit and tie, Vee in her sunny yellow dress and the Wu's in their formal wear.

There was a banner that read 'Happy birthday, Luz,' a ton of balloons, a table filled with an assortment of snacks and on the centre of the table was her birthday

"Surprise!" They all exclaimed. "Happy Quinceanera, Luz!"

Luz was beyond surprised how everything looked. It looked incredible to her and she was so happy that a lot of people were here for her birthday. She walked down the steps to mingle with everyone who have arrived.

She walked up to her mother and shared a hug with her. "Thanks for this Mami." Luz said.

"Don't mention it, Mija." Camila replied. "Sólo desearía que tu padre estuviera aquí para ver esto." (I only wish your father were here to see this).

Tears began to fall from their eyes as the thought of Manny not being here to not see his daughter's special day was saddening.

The two unraveled from their hug and wiped away their tears. "Why don't you mingle with the guests while I get the gifts?" Camila suggested.

"Okay, Mami." Luz said before she began to walk towards Vee.

"Hey Luz! Happy birthday!" Vee said as she and Luz gave each other a quick hug.

"Wow!" Luz said. "Hey Vee, looking good."

"Thanks." Vee said. "You like the dress?"

"Girl, I love it!" Luz exclaimed.

"You know earlier, Marcy pointed out that I'm technically still naked no matter what form I take." Vee said. "Is that weird?"

"Vee, I've lived with King." Luz pointed out.

"Fair point." Vee said.

"I don't mind regardless." Masha said as they wrapped their arm around their girlfriend.

"I thought you wouldn't." Luz said.

"Hi Luz!" Mr Wu said as he and his wife approached her.

"Marcy has told us a great deal about you." Mrs Wu said.

"And we are totally cool with you dating a witch from another world." Mr Wu said.

"And we are totally not weirded out that your Basilisk sister has a human for a partner." Mrs Wu said as she and her husband pulled uncomfortable smiles.

Luz could see their uncomfortable smiles and nervously giggled. "Ooookay."

Marcy then shoved her parents out of the way. "Hey Luz, why don't we prepare to open some presents! By the way, you look great and thanks for saying something nice about my suit and tie." She then narrowed her eyes at her parents. "Bàba māmā, wǒ shuō shénmeliǎo?!"

"Dànshì mǎ xī!" Mr Wu whined.

"Yǒudiǎn qíguài!"

And so Luz opened her presents from everyone close to her. Marcy's gift to Luz was a fan fiction she wrote about Cynthia Coven and Good Witch Azura crossing over and fighting before teaming up to defeat Villainous Lucy, Masha gave Luz a red beanie with a bisexual badge on it, Amity gifted her girlfriend with a necklace with their initials, Camila gave Luz a pair of heels that she'd wear as is tradition in a Quinceanera, but Luz fell since she wasn't exactly good with heels. Thankfully, Camila had a backup gift of the complete boxset of Monsterslayer Academia. While Vee gave Luz the last doll, another Quinceanera tradition. But will this supposed last doll stop Luz from buying dolls? No, not at all.

An hour later, everyone was having a slice of the non-dairy cake Vee and Masha made together with their blood, sweat and tears.

As everyone ate their cake, Marcy pulled out the phone to look at what time it was. "Oh shoot!" She fell off her seat, but thankfully she still held on to her cake. "I'm okay!" She stood up and placed her slice on the table as she began to dig through her bag for something.

"What are you getting, Marcy?" Amity asked.

"Something surprising." Marcy pulled out her laptop and approached Luz. "Now, Luz, there are some people that didn't make it today and they decided that they get together to do this…" She opened up her laptop to reveal a FaceTime call with Hunter and Willow in one window, Anne and Gus in another, Sasha and Grime in another and Dipper in another.

"Hey Luz!" Gus said.

"Happy birthday, girl!" Sasha exclaimed.

"Happy Quincenera!" Dipper said.

Luz gasped. "You guys?!"

"Well we weren't just going to not wish you a happy birthday." Anne said.

"So, we kind of got together thanks to Marcy to wish you a happy birthday." Willow said.

"We would have come, but I'm still scared of airplanes." Hunter said.

"Do you have any idea how terrifying they are?!" Grime asked.

"Plus, really expensive." Dipper reminded him. "By the way Luz, you wouldn't guess who I met with."

"Who?" Luz asked.

"Well, I went to a convention in New York last week and I knew that your birthday was coming up. I was pondering what to get you and I think I found something you might like."

Luz then heard a ping from her new phone. She pulled it from her pocket and found that Dipper sent her a video from Dipper.

She saw the thumbnail had Dipper doing a stupid grin, something that made Luz chuckle. "I see why she liked you." There was a brief frown as she remembered Pacifica but then it vanished when she played the video.

"Hey Luz, this video was taken last week while I was in New York. Well, it would be at your birthday. So as you can tell, the convention was rough. I had fans and people who really hated my book."

"Should I tell him his latest book sucked?" Mr Wu asked his wife.

"Nah, save it for later." Mrs Wu replied.

"So, ya know. But, I met someone who I think you'd be excited to see." He turned the camera to reveal a red haired woman in her mid 40's, in a nice maroon suit.

It was none other than the author of The Good Witch Azura, Mildred Featherwhyle. The sight of her caused Luz and Amity to gasp in surprise.

"She's human?!" Amity exclaimed in shock.

"Hi Luz." Mildred said to the camera. "Dipper told me so much about you and how much of a great person you are and how much you value everyone around you. And I just wanted to wish you a very happy Quincenera from me and I hope you will continue to be a fan of my work. It means to me that they mean so much to you and how it helped you through difficult times and how it helped you bond with someone who means so much to you. And if you want, I could be the minister for your wedding." The tearful Luz gave a laugh over the video. "Anyway, hope you get the chance to catch the next book in the series. Happy birthday!"

As soon as the video ended, Luz had tears falling from her eyes and Amity already had her arm wrapped around her shoulder.

"Dipper….I don't know what to say." Luz said.

"Well, you could say thank you but you're probably too overwhelmed so I'll just say you're welcome." Dipper said. "I'm happy that you liked this gift, regardless."

Then Marcy popped her head out from behind Luz. "Hey Dipper, if it isn't too much, think you could get the author of Cynthia Coven to wish me a happy birthday?"

Dipper chuckled. "I'll try." Then he began to sweat nervously. "I'll try."

About forty minutes later, everyone was chatting and mingling about things going on in their respective lives. With the Wus chatting with Camila, Marcy chatting with Masha and Vee chatting with Amity.

While Luz sat by the buffet table just feasting on a bit of some salad. Then, she heard her mother making a noise and raising a glass. "I would like to raise a glass!" Everyone raised their respective glasses or cans. "I would like to raise a glass to my daughter. Mija, you have made me so proud of you! I'm so happy that you have done so many great things. Helping people, saving worlds and impacting many people here that I thought you wouldn't. I mean, it's a little much for a 15 year old but hey-who." There was a small chuckle from everyone. "Anyway, I am so proud of the woman that you're growing up to be, Mija and I hope to see more of that from you in the future." Luz gave her mother a tearful smile and blew her a kiss. "To Luz!" Camila said with her glass raised high.

"To Luz!" Everyone responded before drinking their drink.

After Camila finished her drink, she approached her daughter and offered her hand. "Mija, I know a Quincenera tradition would be a father/daughter dance, but I hope you can accept a mother/daughter dance."

Luz took her mother's hand and stood up. "Well, I'm not exactly the most traditional person, yeah, I'd love that Mama."

Marcy found a slow song to play for this moment and Luz and her mother began to do a slow dance together while everyone watched on with smiles on their faces.

As Luz continued her slow dance with her mother, she began remembering all the people that came today and how much she means to all of them. From their gifts, to Vee and Masha making a cake for her, Mildred Featherwhyle wishing her a happy birthday thanks to Dipper, Amity being there for her when she visited her dad, Marcy writing an Azura fan fiction which must have been frustrating for her to write Azura in a positive light and that toast from her mother.

But then she thought about everyone she abandoned in the Demon Realm to save Amphibia and currently abandoning while The Collector destroys it and Pacifica dying and her fault for being unable to save her. The tears fell from her eyes as she continued her dance with mother.

Everyone in attendance thought Luz was crying happy tears, when in actuality, they were tears of guilt and self hatred.

A few hours after the party ended, Masha had returned home. "Mom, Dad, I'm home!" They called out. "Oh, that's right, they're asleep." They then noticed the light shining from their kitchen, causing them some concern. "Or, so I thought."

Before returning home, their parents told them that they'd be in bed by the time they got back but the kitchen light being on was raising suspicion.

They walked into the kitchen where they saw a young pale man with a long sleeved white shirt and spiky black hair, eating a pear.

"Oh, hey Masha." K said as he turned around to face them. "How was the party?"

"What are you doing here?" They asked with their arms folded.

"Am I not allowed to visit?" K retorted.

"Why are you eating our food?"

"I was hungry."

"How did you get in?"

"I've been picking locks since I was 5." K replied. "I'm quite the master at it. Like how you're a master of reading people."

Masha took a glance at him. "You're not here to arrest me for making people cry, are you?"

"Did you kill them with their sadness?"

"Not yet."

The two began to awkwardly stare at each other before Masha began to chuckle while K did an awkward laugh.

Then they ran towards K and wrapped him in a hug which he returned to them. "K! It's so wonderful to see you again!"

"And how is my favourite cousin?" K asked.

"Oh, been doing great!" Masha replied. "How's the FBI?"

"Oh, same old, same old." K replied as he pulled out of the hug. "By the way, could you tell me about your new girlfriend? I'm intrigued." He gave them a sinister smile which caused them to freak out.

"Dude, you're doing the creepy smile." Masha said.

K's smile then disappeared. "Oh yes, my smile. Not exactly a pleasing one."
