From Earth to the Boiling Isles

Set after From Earth To Amphibia, can Luz and her new friends save the Boiling Isles from the ever approaching Day of Unity?

45. Watching and Dreaming

One month ago, Kendal Bratton, otherwise known as the FBI agent, K was dead. Or at least, he think was. He was sinking deep down into a dark pool of water. He didn't know where he was going or if it was going to be a happy place, but he knew that wherever he was going, he could be guaranteed he at least lived a full life. Friends, family and an amazing job.

But then, he got pulled out of the pool by someone. When he resurfaced, he began to cough as he tried to catch his breath.

"Take it easy, Kendal." K looked up to see a white wolf staring at him. K looked baffled by what he was seeing. He was currently in a place unknown to him, the in-between Realms.

"Am I dead?" K asked.

"Physically…" K looked down to see a cat licking their paw. "…Spiritually you aren't."

For the first time in his life, K was very afraid and confused at the same time. More confused and afraid than he had ever been in his life.

"Welcome, to the in-between." The White Wolf said. "A world between two worlds. Human and Demon."

"Why am I here?" K asked.

"Believe me my friend, I've been asking that for nearly ten years." The sound of a man said. K looked to the direction of the man and gasped.

"It's you." K said.

"You are here because you touched the green shard." The Guardian explained. "You saw what was Marcy's future. I had to fight with Death in order to place your soul here. Cause believe me, this wasn't the first time."

Death marched in looking angry. "Guardian! Why must you do this?!" He yelled. "I was about to claim this soul but you decide to keep this one alive like you did with this one and that one!"

"Of course." The Guardian licked their paws. "I'm all powerful after all. You're just second fiddle."

Death snarled. "One more and I'll…." He just marched away angrily while K looked on with confusion.

"My cousin." K said.

"They will be fine." Said a large booming voice. K looked up to see a horned furry creature staring down at him. "You, my friend, have some work to be doing."

A month later, November 1st.

Inside the cage, Eda, Lilith, King, Yunan and Pacifica were sitting down awaiting a plan or a rescue when they began to feel a tremor.

"Hey does anyone hear something?" Pacifica asked before they were hit with a blinding light while Yunan quickly pulled a piece of paper from her pocket.

On the Titan skull, the group were standing, waiting for a plan until they suddenly felt the skull shaking. "Huh?"

Then, bright glowing strings began to descend on the group. "Huh?" Hunter reacted before he was grabbed by his limbs. He tried to reach out for Willow but she got captured as well.

"Hunter!" Dipper cried before getting caught himself.

Then Anne, Sasha, Gus, Grime and Marcy; Though the latter was being carried by her leg and was dangling upside-down.

Then, Camila, Ghost, Clover and Emmiline get pulled up by by the strings. Camila cries out as she hugs the palismen tight.

"Mama!" Luz cried as she tried reaching out for her. Then, Amity gets taken by the pink strings. "Amity!"

A bright flash suddenly appears behind Luz. She turns around to look at it, and she closes her eyes as the flash is too bright. Knocking her unconscious.

When the flash fades, the entrance to the In Between Realm appears right in front of her. "What?" Luz reaches her right hand out to try and touch it.

"What?"

"Luz." The voice of K said.

"We were just about to enter the Archives." Luz said.

"And you will." The White Wolf said.

"Don't give up just yet." The Guardian said.

"We were about to just rescue Eda and King." Luz said.

"And you will, Mija."

Luz sounded choked up when she heard that voice. "Dad?"

"Hey!" She sees the Titan's eyes and nose as it appeared. A creature resembling Hooty can be seen coming out of his right eye socket. "Luz! You need to wake up!"

Her eyes then shot open and the first thing she hears is the sound of heartbeat thumping in the background. Turns out, Luz is inside the throne room of the Emperor's Castle. She is sitting on Belos' throne and wearing his outfit. Above her, the heart can be seen beating.

Luz sits up and grunts as she holds her head. "Uh…Where am I?" She looked around the location and realised where she was. "How did I get here?" Luz looks down and notices that she is wearing Belos' outfit. Shocked, she gasps, then yells out in fright and falls backwards, landing on the ground in a sitting position. She then looks up at the throne. "This can't be real! This has to be a dream!"

Stringbean suddenly appears behind her and gives her ear a nibble, causing Luz to yell. "Ow!" She rubs it and smiles when she realised that it's her Palisman. "Stringbean, it's you! You sweet little power noodle. I'm so happy to see you. Are Mamá and the others okay?"

Stringbean squeaks apologetically in response to Luz's question. Luz looks to her right worriedly. "Guys!"

Luz walks down the corridors of the castle. "Where is everyone?" Eventually, she finds the front door and walks out of it. She walks up the bridge and looks around in fear.

Luz walks over to the edge and looks down, then gasps in shock. Beneath the bridge, various residents of the Boiling Isles, Earth and Amphibia have been petrified, with an expression of shock and horror frozen on their faces. Including Bump, Jerbo, Boscha, Sprig, Polly, Hop Pop, Masha and Vee.

Luz backs off in terror. "No! No! No! No! When did this happen?!"

"Don't you remember?" Luz heard Amity's voice which sounded resentful.

Luz looks towards the source of sound, eyes wide and in surprise. Far away from her, Amity, Dipper and Pacifica are standing on the platform on the other side that connects the bridge. Amity holding her staff, Pacifica holding her gun and Dipper holding his energy sword.

"Abandoning everyone in their time of need." Amity said. "And taking me along with you."

"And let's not forget that you abandoned me in this world to suffer at the hands…." Pacifica had tears falling from her eyes as she narrowed her eyes at Luz. "…With them!"

"And leaving me alone with no one to help comfort me!" Dipper yelled before he activated his weapon and aimed it at Luz. "You've been the real monster this whole time. Forget Andrias, forget The Core, forget Belos, forget The Collector, you have!"

Luz looked panicked and tried to desperately reason with everyone. "No! Pa-Pacifica! I thought you were dead! And you guys know I'd never do this! I'm not like this! I-I don't know what I missed but I'm not like Belos." She takes off the cape. "See?"

The cloak flies down the bridge and drops among the petrified statues. Dipper, Pacifica and Amity looked down at the descending cloak.

"Amity, it needs to be done." Pacifica cocked her weapon.

Amity drew a spell circle as tears escaped from her eyes. "I'm sorry Luz, I'm going to take you down!"

Luz reaches her hand out towards her girlfriend. "Amity, please!"

Luz narrowly dodges Amity's abomination goo and runs away. Pacifica tries to shoot her but every shot seemed to miss.

Amity then draws another spell circle and launches the goo towards Luz. Stringbean immediately transforms into a staff, enabling Luz to escape on it and narrowly misses another attack from Amity.

"You can't run, Luz!" Dipper yelled out in anger.

Luz flies past the angered trio and into the castle. The doors slam shut, finally blocking the attacks from them.

"Shit!" Dipper yelled angrily.

Luz continued flying down the corridor as she realised what was going on. "No! This isn't a dream! This a nightmare!"

Elsewhere, Eda finds herself locked up in a cell. "Huh?" She looked around the cell before a bright yellow flash emerges from inside the cell, then Harpy Eda kicks down the steel door.

Outside the building, which turned out to be the Conformatorium, Eda walks over to the edge of the walkway to analyse what is going on and where she is.

Eda looks around and finds no one nearby. Shen then flies through the hallway, barges through the front door, and flies towards the sky, frightened and panting. "Lilith?! King?! Hooty?! Yunan?! Pacifica?!"

She then looked up and saw something coming towards her. "Huh?" She sees a net coming towards her. The net captures the Owl Lady, causing her to drop to the ground, wrapped up in the net. She then sits up as she struggled to escape. "If you think you can keep me from my family, you got another thing coming!"

"Don't worry, Edalyn. We're all present and accounted for." Eda looked up to see her sister and her mother staring down at her from the edge of the platform.

"Lily, Ma!" Eda cried. "Help me out! We gotta find King."

"No." Lilith replied. "You'll be staying right here."

As Lilith speaks, multiple shadowy figures walk out from the front door of the Conformatorium. The Coven Scouts began to surround Eda who gave up her struggle.

"Lilith?! What is going on?!" Eda exclaimed.

"Dangerous beasts need to be kept in cages." Lilith replied as she and her mother glared at her.

"What are you talking about?!" Asked the frightened Eda.

Lilith and Gwendolyn stood aside to reveal Dell walking out covering his eye. "Why Eda?!" He removed his hand from his right eye to reveal a scratch that had blinded him. "I forgave you!"

Eda gasped at the horrifying sight of her father blinded in both of his eyes. "No! This can't be real!"

Elsewhere, King woke up with a 'Weh?' And saw that he was in a familiar location. There were two of Andrias' robots that had just finished chaining him up to a machine that had all sorts of needles connecting to his skin.

"What's going on?! Help, please!" King pleaded.

Then around ten sinister orange eyes began staring at him. "King, you don't remember? Your blood is super important to me. I need it to travel through the multiverse. So be a good boy and resist struggling."

The robot pulled on a nearby lever and some energy surges through King's body, causing the Baby Titan to scream in agonising pain.

"Andrias!" King cried. "HELP!"

"Andrias?!" The Core laughed. "You want Andrias?! Okay! Andrias! Get your skull over here!" Then a giant newt skull landed in front of him. King's eyes widened in horror while The Core just laughed. "Shame. He could have been integrated with us!" The Core laughed while King cried in pain and terror.

Elsewhere, Luz flies through a corridor, then lands and runs down another corridor to her right. Suddenly, she finds herself in a surrounding similar to Willow's mindscape. "Trees?" Luz stops and pants. She notices something on her right and turns towards that direction. Not far away from her, Willow is kneeling in front of a tree, holding a seedling.

"Willow! Thank goodness! I'm so happy to see you!" Luz said. "Do you know what's going on? Amity, Dipper and Pacifica are-"

"You know, Luz, my life changed after I met you. I finally believed that there was this big, bright future ahead of myself." She stood up and turned to narrow her eyes at Luz. "But that didn't last, didn't it?" The seedling in Willow's palms crumbles and withers away as she speaks. She then looks up at Luz angrily, with green glowing eyes and tears flowing down her cheeks. "You abandoned my home! You could have helped it when you had the chance but instead you helped them!" She drew some spell circles while pointing to behind Luz.

She turned around to see Anne, Sasha and Marcy approaching her with their respective weapons out. They appeared to be approaching her with murderous intent. "You did this Luz." Anne said as she gripped her sword. "You could have just left things to us. But no, you abandoned this world."

"Even though we are grateful you helped, you should have thought more about this world." Sasha said.

"Belos would have been dead faster and Yunan would have seen Olivia again if you didn't exist!" Marcy began firing her arrows at Luz, Willow shot vines and Anne and Sasha began charging at her with their swords out.

Luz screams and runs away from them. "Come out and fight!"

After a while, Luz slows down and turns around to look back, slowly backing off as she gasps and whimpers.

Her surrounding turns dark for a few moments before a light turns on. Luz turns around with her left eye shut, trying to see what's going on while adjusting herself to the brightness.

"Humans, frogs, toads, newts and witches!" Grime yelled into a mic

"Look everyone, it's good ol' Luz." As Gus speaks, Luz realised that she is standing in stage inside Hexside's gym with Gus and Grime.

Gus is wearing his grom outfit while Grime is dressed in what looked to be a dark blazer, face covered in heavy makeup, pearly white teeth and a wig that looked to be of a dark grey hair tied in a ponytail.

They were introducing Luz to the audience below whom were cheering and jeering. Luz looks down at them with a puzzled expression as Gus and Grime step in front of the camera together.

"And let's not forget her crimes people!" Grime exclaimed. "Which includes being a complete and utter bitch to people who were manipulated!" The audience boos at Luz while Grime encouraged the crowd to.

"Grime! I forgave you!" Luz shouted.

"Trauma has been done!" Grime retorted. "You got Death after me!" Then from the crowd, a skeleton hand grabbed Grime, dragging him into the audience.

"Grime!" Luz tried to reach out for the toad but a tearful Gus stopped her.

"And let's not forget, she is the biggest hypocrite!" The audience booed even harder while Luz watched on in fear. "Everyone helped you get back to your mom. Meanwhile, because of you, I'll never see my dad again!"

"Gus, no. I- I- I swear, we'll get him back." She turns towards the audience. "We'll get everyone back! I won't stop till we do!"

Gus approaches behind her. "Tell that to him!"

He pushes her off the stage and Luz lands on the ground in a different surrounding. As she tries to get up, she groans as she clutches her head. She then looks to her left, and sees Hunter staring at a large statue of Flapjack in the distance, with his back facing her. They are at the Emperor's Castle.

"I've always just followed orders." Flapjack said sadly. "I never thought about making friends or going to school or let alone having a girlfriend. Then I met Flapjack. He was more than a Palisman. He was my best friend." He angrily stares at Luz. "And then I lost him, helping you! But you still get to have your own Palisman!" He dropped to the floor and began sobbing. "Why Luz?! Why do you get to have it all?!"

Everyone from before began to surround Hunter with Pacifica standing beside him as she aimed her weapon at Luz.

Amity narrows her eye at Luz. "I'm sorry Luz. But for the sake of everyone-"

Luz drops to her knees as tears fell from her eyes. "No! Please!" She held her hand out, preparing for the worst.

"I challenge you to a Witch's Battle!"

Amity's declaration made Luz stare at her with a surprised expression. "Wait? What? Say that again!"

"I challenge you to a Witch's Battle!" Amity declared.

"Come on, I have bets on you dying!" Grime said.

Luz approaches Amity with a confused expression. "A Witch's Battle?" She began to poke her cheeks and play with her ears. "Ba boop! You look like Amity." She touches her arm. "You feel like Amity." Luz holds her hand. "But you're not are you? None of you are."

Pacifia's eye began to twitch in annoyance. "Of course we are! Are you just digging your own grave now?!"

'It's 'I challenge you to a Witch's Duel,' not 'Witch's Battle.' And the Amity I know would never misquote The Good Witch Azura." Luz said. "So come on then! Attack me!" She spread her arms out, provoking her allies.

Grime smirked as he gripped his Warhammer. "Oh this is going to be easy."

Angered by Luz's words, Amity, Grime, Dipper, Anne, Sasha, Marcy, Gus and Willow proceed to rush forward and attack Luz. However, Amity's staff is being hold back by some pink strings before it can touch Luz.

Luz opens her eyes, sees this, and takes a step back. "What the hell?!" Sasha asked.

"Great! God doesn't want us to kill her!" Anne exclaimed in frustration.

"Damn axolotl." Dipper groaned.

In front of Luz, everyone that was against her grunt as they are all held back by the pink strings.

Suddenly, Amity opens her eyes, looks up at Luz in surprise and gasps. Light slowly returns to her dull and lifeless eyes.

She squints her eyes slightly as a tear forms in her right eye. "Luz?"

"What's going on?!" Pacifica reacted as she looked around in confusion. "Where am I?!" She looked down to see Hunter and gasped. "Hunter?" She looked forward to see Dipper. "Dipper!"

Dipper couldn't turn his neck due to the strings but his heart sank when he heard that voice. "Pacifica?"

Luz grabs Amity's hand. "Amity! Is that you?!"

"Yes! We've been collected!" Amity said. "The Collector has your Mom and-"

"The little brat is trying to keep you away from us!" Sasha replied as she tried chewing her way through the strings.

"You have to stop him!" Willow said.

"You have to wake up!" Marcy said.

"How?!" Luz exclaimed.

"What's the first thing you do when you wake up from a bad dream?" Hunter asked as pink strings drop down from the sky and wrap around his arms. Hunter then looks up and smiles at Luz.

Amity releases her left hand from gripping her staff and places it on Luz's left hand. "You turn on a light."

Amity lets go of Luz's hand, leaving behind a paper with a glowing light glyph in her palm. Luz stares at the glyph, then looks up at Amity and smiles, a tear forming in her right eye.

Then, Luz holds Amity by her cheek and leans in for a somber yet bittersweet kiss between them. Despite the fact she was trapped, Amity managed to muster the strength to return the affection from her girlfriend.

Dipper, Pacifica, Gus, Anne, Sasha, Amity, Marcy, Grime, Hunter, and Willow all smile back at her all with tears their eyes.

"You're going to save the Isles Luz." Dipper said. "Believe me I've seen it."

Suddenly, the strings transform the group into lifeless puppets again and are then pulled up into the sky and promptly disappears.

Luz drops to her knees upon seeing this, and lowers her head, eyes shut. After taking a deep breath, she opens her eyes, then claps her hands together, activating the light glyph.

And with a bright yellow flash, she opens her eyes and then cries out in fright. She appeared to be standing on a checkered pattern platform with large toys around her on top of a large Rubix cube, which is floating mid air in some sort of galaxy like dimension with large toys floating nearby. A meteor shoots across the sky above Luz.

She walks ahead and looks at her surroundings in shock, accompanied by Stringbean. She then notices King on her left, who is still stuck in his own nightmare and whimpering in terror. Beside him, puppet versions of Andrias' robots are being controlled by strings and used to terrorize King.

King looks up, a terrified expression on his face. His eyes are glowing, the puppets that surround him.

Luz then looks to her right and sees Eda being terrorized by puppet Lilith, Dell and Gwendolyn. All of their eyes are glowing too.

"I didn't mean to!" Eda cried. "I didn't mean to! I didn't mean to! I didn't mean to!"

Luz rushes forward and grabs Eda's arm, then places a light glyph in her hand and activates it. Eda looks at the light ball in her hand, which breaks her out from her nightmare and her eyes stop glowing. "Huh?"

Puppet Lilith, Dell and Gwendolyn stop moving and get pulled up to the sky as Eda watches, before they all disappear in a puff of smoke.

Luz then rushes over to King and places another light glyph in his palm and activates it. He opens his eyes and stares at the light ball, successfully breaking out from his nightmare. The robots disappear into the sky as he watches.

When he looks back down, he sees Luz kneeling right in front of him, causing him to gasp and jump back. "L-Luz? LUZ?!" King tackles Luz in a massive hug that she happily returned.

"Hey buddy!" Luz said.

Eda stands up and stares at what was in front of her in disbelief. "King? Is that Luz?! Are you here?!" Tears fell from her eyes.

"Get over here you witch!" Luz exclaims as she holds her arm out!

Eda rushes over and kneels down right next to Luz and King, hugging them both tight and squealing in pure happiness. She then kisses them both as Luz cries happily.

The trio continue hugging each other blissfully. Stringbean floats over and attaches herself onto Luz's face, smiling.

But it wasn't just Stringbean who was watching. The Collector was watching with their star shaped orb in anger and annoyance. "I thought you said this would work, Ray-Ray." He floated as he narrowed their eyes at Baine (Belos/Raine.) "You said, it would make them all 'see the error of their ways.' But King is gonna hate me for this! Now what do we do?"

Baine picked up Francois and sighed. "Why bother teaching them anything when you can just…Wipe them out?"

The Collector snatched Francois from their hand. "I WANT to be their friends! And besides, my powers don't work on King."

Baine stares at The Collector in surprise. "The Dog?"

The Collector floated towards Baine. "Yeah! Cause he's a Titan!" A Titan skull flew over their head. Baine was deep in thought. "You worked in the castle, Ray-Ray. You've seen the big old heart, still beating too. Titans are AMAZING!" The Collector lays in bed while Baine continues to stare at him. "Cause when they're grown up! They're super powerful! More powerful than I!"

Baine grinned. "You know, I just had an interesting idea."

The Collector stared at them with intrigue. "What?"

Baine waves their hand. "No, it wouldn't work."

The Collector grabs Baine by their face. "What? What wouldn't work? Tell me, or I'll hold my breath for a million years!"

Baine gently places The Collector down. "Well, if you insist. What if you played with those three yourself? Showed them just how much fun your games are in person? Then they'll ALL want to be your friend."

The Collector lights up. "You think so?!"

Baine nods their head. "Mmm hmm."

"Alright!" The Collector summons his yellow star and jumps on it. "Wish me luck, Ray-Ray!" The Collector flies upwards and through the star, which then shrinks and disappears.

Baine grunts, swipes Francois to the ground, and rummages through the drawer of the table beside the Collector's bed. Eventually, they take out a blue star. "Perhaps this might be easier than I thought." They smiled sinisterly.

Meanwhile, Luz, Eda and King were still hugging each other. "Oh we missed you!" Eda happily exclaimed. "How did you get back to the Demon Realm?"

"It's a very long story, I wouldn't know where to begin." Luz said. "There was Belos in the Human Realm-"

"There was what?!" King and Eda exclaimed.

"Plus, The Core is still alive in the Demon Realm somewhere taking Amity's Dad as a new host-"

"What?!" Eda and King exclaimed.

"I also found out Grime, Lilith and Raine helped Belos-"

"Do you…"

"Don't worry Eda, I forgive them." Luz assured her. "We also had to deal with Kikimora which was tough-"

"I can imagine." King interjected.

"And I think Sasha was flirting with Boscha-"

"She can do better." King interjected.

"Oh! And my Mom decided…" Luz notices Eda's missing arm and points at it. "…WOAH! What happened to you?!"

Eda covers up her bandaged arm. "That's a shorter story. Oooh, is that your Palisman?" Stringbean slithers on Luz's shoulder and Owlbert comes out of Eda's hair to greet her.

"Hey, hey, all I wanna do is hear both of you talk over hot choco smilk, but first, we gotta find a way outta- whatever this is!" King said before a bright light flashes on, blinding them.

The Collector appears began to descend towards the group. "I don't get it, King. I really don't get it. I thought you loved playing our games. Why do you choose these itty bitty spiders over me?"

Eda's arm turned into a Harpy claw. "Because your games stink, kid."

Luz activates her staff and aims it at the kid. "And spiders are awesome."

King inhales like he was ready to scream. "Especially the itty bitty ones!"

"Uh! You act like I'm doing something bad!" The Collector shouted. "I'm just having fun!"

"Trapping people and scaring them and controlling them? That's not fun, Collector." King argued.

"And everyone nearly died during the Draining Spell!" Eda argued.

"So?" The Collector shrugs their shoulder. "Toys break all the time: You just fix them." The Collector summons a toy version of himself and breaks it. Then it fixes themselves back up.

Luz looked alarmed. "You don't know what death is, do you?"

"Well, don't worry 'cause I don't wanna scare you anymore." The Collector floats in the sky. "I think we can all be great friends. So, let me show you some of my favorite games!" They began to summon something with their powers while the trio prepared for the worst.

Meanwhile, Baine is limping through the Archives. There is a trail of black goo that follows them. Then, the Collector's spell vanishes and the star on their forehead falls off. Raine gains control of their body and tries to fight Belos.

"Ah! Let me go!" Raine tried to fight Belos but then gets knocked to the floor as goo drips from their face. Belos manages to regain control of the body and snarls.

"Ugh!" Baine groaned. "Raine has always been annoyingly powerful! Especially the day they beat me up!" They pull out the star. "No! I think I'll keep you around a little longer."

They throw the star on the floor and jump on it before flying off.

But close to Baine, was a room and in that room was where the puppets of Amity, Willow, Gus, Dipper, Pacifica, Hunter and Grime were scattered along a floor. They were motionless with no way of escaping. That was until Amity's finger began to twitch.

Meanwhile, Eda, Luz and King begrudge start playing the Collector's game. First game is based on Pac-Man, where the Collector's enlarged head chases the trio through a maze.

The game ends when Stringbean stings the Collector's tongue after trying to eat Luz. Annoyed, he snaps his fingers and the game changes to Marbles, with the trio trapped inside them.

When Eda and Luz are knocked out, King charges and makes the Collector fall by tripping on the marble.

Next game is Jenga, Eda sends the blocks flying towards the Collector when the tower starts falling. He angrily gets up, but then his face saddens. The Collector snaps his fingers, causing the group to be transported back to their original location.

"Thanks whoever!" King groaned. "I think I barfed like twelve times!"

"Wanna make it lucky number thirteen?" Eda asked before she picks King up and throws him in the air. He lands back in her arms as she rocks him.

"Uh guys." Luz points to the Collector whom was crying alone in the corner.

In that moment, Luz felt sorry for the little space cherub and began to approach them. "Luz." Eda tried reaching out to her.

"Let her go." King said. "If anyone can talk to him, it's Luz."

Luz approached The Collector and got down on her knees. "Collector, you know this can't last forever, right?"

"Why? Because you know you'd lose?" The Collector sobbed while Eda and King came from behind. "I just wanted a friend who wouldn't lie to me, or trick me. But everyone's the same! King lied, Belos lied, even they lied."

"Who's they?" Luz asked before she heard some rumbling coming from the sky.

"The Archivists, my siblings. "Oh, let's play a game", they said." He angrily clenches their fists. "'Let's play hide-and-seek.'" They look up in the sky to see drawings of the so-called Archivists pointing down to the Titans. "'Go down and see if they wanna play.' So I played, and it was great." While he says this, the stars move to show the Collector playing with the young titans. "The baby titans were the cutest, just like King!" While he says this, the stars move to show the young titans surrounding a joyful Collector. "And they were all so welcoming! But the Archivists were scared of their power, so one by one, they disappeared, until there was one Titan left." While he says this, the stars move to show the hands of the Archivists seizing the young titans and taking them offscreen to represent their killing of the titans. The Collector, now alone, rotates, looking for the titans. A large pair of eyes representing the last Titan appear behind the Collector. "And he thought I was the bad guy." The stars move to show the last Titan holding the Collector, now imprisoned, and placing him away. "He hid his egg from me and trapped me." In a flash of light, the flashback ends. "But I showed all of them. Even when those trapper jerks started acting weird. Even when Belos lied to me! I found King! I found the last Titan, and he's my friend now!"

King sighed. "Collector…"

The Collector flew towards Luz in anger. "I know it's just pretend. I don't care. I'll pretend as long as I want."

"But it's not what you want is it?" Luz asked.

"What do you know?" The Collector folded their arms in frustration.

"We know what it's like to feel alone." Eda said.

"Abandoned." King said sadly.

"And misunderstood." Luz gave The Collector a gentle smile as she pulled a pair of tweezers from her fanny pack. "What if we showed you how we became friends?"

"King already told me your adventures." The Collector said.

"It's different when you see them." She puts the tweezers in her ear and pulls out a few of her memories. She gets down on her knees and begins to show them her memories. "What do you think Collector? Can we tell you our stories?" The Collector stares at Luz with intrigue and began to stare at her with full attention.

Meanwhile, outside of the Emperor's castle, Baine is atop the Collector's shooting star and the star crash-lands while Belos attempts to keep control of a resistant Raine.

"LET ME GO!" The enraged Raine demanded before they inhale and then whistles. The vibrations from their bard magic repel Belos, sending him toward the castle. Unbeknownst to Raine, their sound waves also blasted their earring ahead of them.

"No matter." Belos laughed. "You helped me once again Whispers. Thank you for giving the chance to take my new vessel."

Raine seemed confused by Belos crawling into the castle instead of them. "Huh?" Then, they figured out what Belos was planning to do. "Oh no."

Raine stands up and follows Belos, leaving their earring behind. They run inside the castle after Belos and up the stairs, hitting against the wall on their way before continuing onward.

Raine finally makes their way to the door that opens to the throne room, where the Titan's heart is. They summon their violin.

"Do you know what this is?" Belos voice asked as they stared at the beating Titan heart behind the throne. "The last of many. But it is still beating." Raine scans around themself, looking for Belos. But unbeknownst to them, he comes from within the ground and makes his way up to their upper body and expands around them. "It's the Titan's Heart!" He bites on their arm causing them to scream in pain and to drop their instrument.

Raine attempts to use their bard magic by whistling, but Belos engulfs them to prevent this. Belos then leaves behind his parts that are muting Raine and makes his way to the heart despite the fact that he is quickly decomposing.

He begins to climb up the wall to the heart while Raine manages to move their body close enough to grab their violin. They slam it against the ground with enough force of sound waves to surround the room.

Belos manages to make contact with the heart before the sound waves reach it completely and expands.

"Oh poor Raine!" Belos laughed. "You tried so hard didn't you?"

Raine gasped in horror at what was happening. "Shit." They whispered to themselves before Belos fully attaches to the heart, then unleashes mold-like branches from his chest beyond Raine and spread through the castle.

The Titan's right eye begins to glow blue as Belos gains full control of the entire Isles.

Back at the Archive House, where the corridors glow green. A semi-conscious puppet Amity's hand etches a light glyph into the ground and activates it, releasing a ball of light that returns her and others to their active state.

Everyone groaned as they began to look around. "Ow, that was….Nightmarish." Anne remarked.

Sasha grinned. "Hey, anyone got a bad case of morning…"

Dipper sighed. "No, just don't."

"Dipper?"

Dipper's heart sank as he heard that voice he hadn't heard for what felt like forever. He turned around to see right in front of her, his girlfriend. Thought slightly more muscle toned, a black tank top and shorter hair going down to her neck.

She gasped in surprise and began to crawl to him. Him and her reached out to touch each other's faces to see if they were real. And when they did, they gasped and pulled back.

"Dipper!" Pacifica screamed with happy tears falling from her face.

"Pacifica!" Dipper had his own happy tears as he and Pacifica tackled each other in a massive hug.

"Pacifica!" Hunter teleported and grappled the two in his own hug.

"Hunter?!" Pacifica opened her eyes as she looked at Hunter.

Hunter was now a blubbering mess of up his own as he happily sobbed over Pacifica being alive. "P-P-P…"

Pacifica just tightened her hug on the two important people of her life and kissed each other their heads. "I'm so happy you're okay!"

"I thought you were dead!" They said simultaneously.

"Well, I'm not." Pacifica said before realising something. "What happened to your face?"

Hunter sighed sadly. "Belos got me…Flapjack…He…"

Pacifica figured what Hunter was about to say and exhaled sadly. "I'm sorry, Hunter."

Hunter wiped some tears. "It's okay, he's in me."

"Aww!"

"No, he's literally in me so I can…" He teleported, causing Pacifica to gasp. Then, he reappeared next to Willow. "…Do this." He saw that his girlfriend was crying. "Willow?"

Willow wiped some tears. "Sorry honey, I got emotional seeing you reunited with your sister. And I think everyone else did." She pointed to Amity, Gus, Grime, Anne, Sasha and Marcy, whom were all tearing up.

"Don't mind us." Sasha said. "Just kiss him!"

But before Pacifica had that thought, she realised something Willow said. "'Honey?' That's a pet name. You and her? Are you?"

"Yup." Willow replied. "Hunter and I are a couple. So were Dipper and Wendy."

Pacifica froze while Dipper cringed. Her eye began to twitch in annoyance. "You were in a relationship with Wendy?!" She turned to face her boyfriend in annoyance.

Dipper began to panic. "Well you see, I thought you were dead and…Well…I thought I liked Wendy…But that's over now. We had a relationship and we-"

Pacifica sighed. "You know what? That doesn't matter." She said. "Just kiss me."

"Huh?"

Before Dipper could react, Pacifica pulled him in for a kiss. When their lips crashed, Dipper's face lit up and his cheeks turned red. But then, after a bit, Dipper returned the kiss and wrapped his arms around his girlfriend.

Everyone just watched on with some heartfelt reactions until they realised something important. "Wait, where are we?" Gus asked.

"I think it's the Archives." Marcy said.

Grime screamed. "Marionette puppets!" Turns out that the Archives was a collection of puppets placed on some shelves ready to be played by The Collector when they felt like it.

"Yup, this is the Archives." Anne said while Grime panted.

"They got everyone." Amity said. "Look, there's Boscha's Grudgeby team." Amity pointed to Cat and Amelia, whom were puppets. "They even got Lilith."

Marcy gasped. "Oh no, they got Yunan! That was one of her biggest fears. Being turned into a puppet."

Anne walked up to Marcy with an eyebrow raised. "Why doesn't the Yunan puppet have strings or that crescent moon on her head?"

Turns out the Yunan puppet stood out from everyone else. No strings and no moon symbol on the forehead, just a fleshy and shiny. Then, it suddenly blinked, startling everyone.

"Aahhh!"

Then, Marcy got tackled to the floor by a shiny red flash. "Master Marcy!" Yunan hugged her master with an all powerful hug. "Oh! I'm so happy to see you again!"

"Yunan?!" Pacifica exclaimed. "You weren't a puppet?!"

"Of course not." Yunan replied. "I activated an invisibility glyph and got out as fast as I could!"

"So instead of finding me, you went out to hide in here?!" Pacifica asked angrily. "I was being controlled by a space cherub!"

"No, I was planning a plan in here." Yunan replied. "I just traced where you were by sniffing your hair."

"What?!"

"Well regardless, I'm glad I don't have to pretend to be a puppet anymore." Yunan said. "I was sweating buckets."

"You don't look like to be sweating." Grime remarked before Yunan lifted her shirt up revealing a bucket of sweat to fall out like a wave.

Then Yunan turned to Dipper. "And you must be General Yunan." Dipper said. "Scourge of the Sand Wars! Defeater of-"

Pacifica placed her finger on Dipper's lips. "Dipper, don't."

"And you must be Dipper." Yunan groaned. "Man you will not believe how much Pacifica bitched on about you." Pacifica folded her arms while Willow gasped.

"Oh no."

"Oh yeah, it was annoying Banyan."

"No! Look!" Willow pointed to one of the puppets. "They got Camila."

"We gotta get her down." Gus said as he summoned a Palisman.

Then Amity realised something as soon as they mentioned Camila. "Wait, where's Luz?" Amity asked.

Everyone looked around the shelves to see if Luz was there, but unfortunately there was no sign of her anywhere on the rows.

"She has to be one of these!" Grime exclaimed.

"She's not here." Yunan said. "I checked every puppet and I didn't see her."

Dipper realised where Luz could be heading and went wide eyed. "She's probably with Eda and King." He pulled out his phone and saw that it was smashed. "Dammit! Must have been destroyed during the fight with Kikimora. I can't track King."

"They aren't here as well by the way." Yunan said.

Dipper froze and began running towards the exit. "I'll be back!"

"Dipper?" Pacifica reacted in confusion which then turned to sadness. "But…We just got back."

"Hard to explain!" Sasha said as she, Anne and Marcy followed. Yunan began to follow as well.

"Where are you going?!" Grime asked the newt.

Yunan shrugged her shoulders. "What? I didn't know you guys for long. I've been cooped up with Eda and King." She and the Calamity trio ran to where Dipper was where he was staring a trail of goo.

"Is that…"

"Belos." Dipper responded to Anne's question quickly. "He's been here."

Yunan sniffed the goo. "Smells of Raine Whispers as well. They're very far from here." Yunan sighed. "You guys should find Belos. He's over at the palace beyond yonder."

"What about you?" Marcy asked.

"I'll find Eda." Yunan reached into her pockets and pulled out a handful of feathers. "I have her scent after all." The newt jumped on the ceiling and began crawling. "Go! Good luck! And if I see Odalia, I'm gonna beat her butt!"

"Who?" Anne asked.

"Amity's bitch mother." Sasha replied.

"Ah." Anne responded.

"How are we going to get to the palace?" Marcy asked. "We don't have one of those stars."

Dipper took off his overcoat and waistcoat. "I have a way." He then removed the tie from around his neck.

"How?" Marcy asked.

"It's something I've been working on called Operation Last Resort." Dipper began unbuttoning his white shirt to reveal a weird piece of metal on his chest.

"Uh…Why do you have that on your chest?" Anne asked.

"I designed Operation Last Resort with a mixture of nano technology…." He rolled up his sleeves. "…And I shaved a fraction of the shards power carefully to power it."

"What?" Sasha asked.

"That's like a milli fraction of its power." Marcy remarked.

"Luz was powerful enough to destroy Amphibia." Dipper replied. "If that's what a fraction of its power does. Imagine how powerful they are when they're just diamond shavings." He pushed on the chest and some almost Liquid Metal began travelling along his body.

When they eventually covered his entire body, it is revealed to be some armour with the colours of blue and white. There were thrusters, a blue glow on the chest and a mask.

The girls jaws went wide with what they saw. "Holy crap!" Sasha exclaimed.

"Get on me, girls." Dipper said. "Just try and hold on. I'm new to this."

Sasha, Anne and Marcy jumped on Dipper's back as he prepared his thrusters. "So wait, you never tested this?!" Sasha asked.

"Just a few test runs." Dipper replied. "Flight tests and weapons tests." He launched in the sky and crashed through the ceiling, leaving a hole. "Not my intention, sorry!"

Odalia walked to where Dipper was standing and groaned when she looked up and saw the hole in the ceiling. "Oh Titan, I hope The Collector doesn't turn me into a puppet for this."

"How about a punch out?"

"Huh?" Before Odalia could react, Yunan tackled her to the floor and began to punch her repeatedly.

"This is for being a bigger bitch than Pacifica!" Yunan exclaimed.

"Hey!" Pacifica shouted.

"It's true!" Yunan argued.

Meanwhile, a shooting star flies past the Owl House and finally lands in front of it. The Collector then makes the star vanish as he jumps off. He is followed by Luz on Stringbean, and Harpy Eda holding King.

"Wow, I thought we would just, like, flip through these." Luz said.

"So this is the Bird House?" The Collector asked.

"Owl House." Eda corrected them. "Speaking of…." Eda flew into the house and then flee back out. "…Someone's been drinking that secret apple blood stash I had hidden under the floorboard!" Luz cringed, wondering how Grime was gonna get out of this one.

"For me, it started in the Human Realm." Luz explained as she showed the Collector a photo of her, Eda, King and Hooty posing together. "Things were not great, but I found my way here, and I met Owlbert, Hooty, and Eda the Owl Lady."

"And the king of demons!" King exclaimed as he jumped on Luz's arm.

"None of us felt like we fit in." Luz said. "So we decided to not fit in together."

The Collector huffed and crossed their arms. "It was that easy, huh?"

"No, not really." Luz shows him a picture of the people that deceived her on her second day there. When she got tricked by a wizard. "I had a lot to learn that day. But eventually, I found the right people."

While saying this, she flips through more pictures, which include Luz trying out to be a Hexside student, Willow and Gus supporting, Luz sparring with Anne and Sasha, Luz playing a role play game with Marcy, Luz forgiving Grime, Luz talking with Dipper and Pacifica, Luz playing Grudgeby with Amity and Willow against Boscha and her team, Luz kissing Amity and the Grom photo can be seen behind it.

"Woah! What you're playing in that photo looks fun." The Collector said. "Can we go there?"

They all fly to Hexside's Grudgeby field. Luz, who is now holding Stringbean in her staff form, and Eda, who is carrying King, stand at the top while the Collector hovers above on his star.

"This is where we play a game called Grudgeby." Luz said.

"The ball may bite and the rules are nonsense but the game is still fun." King stated.

"Nonsense? Ha!" Eda exclaimed. "Hexside lets you play any magic sport these days. Grudgeby was all we had and we made the best of it."

Luz began to tussle the top of Eda's hair. "And you were the star player, we know."

"Did you know Lilith as the captain?" King asked.

"Really?" Luz reacted. "Now that's a spin off I'd watch."

While Luz says this, the Collector's mouth closes, his facial expression becomes more serious. He looks ahead of him and sees Jerbo, Matt and the moon girl, all hiding from him. The Collector uses his star to glide over to the trio.

"Hi! I'm the Collector!" They said. "Wanna be my Grudgeby buddy?"

Matt panicked. "He found us, go! Go! Go!" Him and the trio ran away in terror.

The Collector just sighed sadly as Luz, Eda and King approached him with saddened expression. "I wanna go somewhere different."

Luz shows him a deck of photos and the Collector points to one of the photos. This one was the Knee.

They approached the top of the mountain and Luz finishes drawing an ice glyph. "I'm really glad you picked this place, Collector. It's really special to me. It's where Eda helped me make a connection with the Isles." She activates an ice glyph causing a pillar to rise and a few light glyphs to float around it.

The Collector scoffs. "A baby Titan could do it in their sleep." They stare at it with more intrigue. "But I never saw anyone doing it that way before. He never taught me much. He must really like you for him to show you this much. Did you force him to be your friend, too? Like, uh, what are their names— Lilith and Amity?"

"Yeah, people are complex." Luz said. "And sometimes they just need a little kindness and forgiveness."

"Kindness and forgiveness." The Collector pondered the idea while looking at Luz and King.

All of a sudden, they heard the sound of thrusters. "What's that noise?" Luz asked.

"Sounds like one of those human contraptions." Eda remarked. "A planechopper?"

Then, Dipper crashed in the snow, startling everyone since they didn't see him with armour on. "Ow."

Anne, Sasha and Marcy followed from behind and panted. "Man, did we need to land in snow?" Anne asked.

"Either that or crash with him." Sasha said.

Dipper stood up and pulled his mask up and groaned. "Ow. That hurt that."

Luz gasped. "Dipper? What's going on? What's with that armour?"

The Collector floated upwards and smiled. "Hey, you must be Dipper. Luz told me about you."

"Look kid, you turned us to puppets so please stop acting like you're happy to see us." Sasha demanded.

"Look, I'm sorry." The Collector said.

"Did that cherub just apologise?" Sasha reacted.

"They did, yeah." Marcy replied.

"Sure, just apologise for all the trauma you caused everyone." Dipper said with sarcasm.

"I am!" The Collector cried.

"You think saying sorry is going to fix everything?!" Dipper yelled. "The people torn from their families, the people turned to puppets and demanding people play with you or else they will suffer! What kind of monster like you says sorry?!" Dipper stopped when he saw that The Collector was looking scared by his reaction. He was being yelled at like a parent yelling at their child which was causing him to cry. "Wait, why are you crying?"

Luz approached Dipper and the Calamity girls while King just tried to comfort his friend. "They, uh…Let's just say been through a lot of self discovery and they're trying to better themselves. I'm trying to teach them about people in general. He hasn't had a healthy friendship or relationship with anyone."

"So, he isn't a bad guy?" Marcy asked. "He's just a kid. Learning."

Dipper stared at The Collector noticing some similarities between them and Mabel during Weirdmageddon. "Collector, sorry I yelled at you. It's just, it's probably going to take some time for me to forgive you. You've done some terrible things and hurt a lot of people. But, at least you are trying to make an effort. I want us to start fresh, but that's going to take time. Think you can understand?"

The Collector looks at Dipper and wipes their eyes. "I guess."

But then Dipper got serious. "Luz, we have a problem."

"What?" Eda asked. "By the way, I'm Eda."

"Dipper." Dipper said. "We met before many years ago."

"I know, I scratched your back. Sorry about that." Eda said.

"That's fine." Dipper said. "The scars make me look cool."

"And I'm Anne." Anne said. "Just thought I'd let you know. Anyway, back to the topic. We think Belos has….Wait, does anyone hear breathing?"

Everyone looked around the aisles and noticed that the trees were swaying, the rocks were falling and the snow was falling down.

Then, from the distance, they notice the Titan's eye glowing blue and they heard a small roar. "Is that…." The Collector shuddered.

"Belos." Luz responded instantly.

In the alleyway of Bonesborough, a rat runs through a large crack and throws out Tinella Nosa Seeing the dangerous branches spreading throughout the alley, she screams and runs away as they follow her.

On a railway in one of the Knee's tunnels, three Coven Scouts are sitting around a fire. They are interrupted by the branches of mold that sends them fleeing.

As Luz, Eda, Dipper carrying the Calamity trio, King, Stringbean, and the Collector fly above, they see the branches violently spreading throughout the Boiling Isles.

"It's coming from the castle." Luz said.

"Control your landing, Pines." Dipper said to himself.

Belos has now taken on a massive, monstrous form similar looking to the Titan. His eyes continue to glow blue, and he now has wings. "Finally, I can cleanse the putrid Isles….Myself!" He shoots fire from his mouth just as the group arrived on the scene.

Dipper gently placed the girls on the ground. "What is that?"

"That can't be Belos." King said.

"He's upgraded to a level 1000!" Marcy exclaimed. "Which is bad."

"How did he get here without a body?" Luz asked.

"He took Raine's body." Sasha replied. "Yunan found out. I'm sorry Eda, but I don't think they're alive." Eda stared at Sasha with a saddened expression before turning back to Belos.

"What do we do?" Anne asked. "There's no way we can stop it."

"We can!" The Collector exclaimed. "I know how." They began to float toward Belos, cutting away at the mossy fungus along the way.

"Collector, what are you doing?" Luz asked.

"Come on Collector!" Sasha exclaimed. "Blow him to kingdom come!"

"No, no, Sasha." Collector said. "He doesn't need to be blown to a different kingdom. All he needs is kindness and forgiveness."

The Collector hugs Belos's skull causing everyone to have stunned expressions. Sasha aggressively inhaled through her nose. "Luz. What did you teach The Collector?"

"A little too much kindness and forgiveness." Luz replied while Belos blinked in confusion.

The Collector turned around to face the group. "See Luz? Now we can be buddies!"

Belos took a deep breath, ready to fire at The Collector. This sight caused Luz to jump on Stringbean and to fly up towards them. "Collector!"

"Luz, wait!" Dipper tried following her.

"What are you doing?!" Eda asked.

Luz got in front of the blast and blocked it with a purple flash which collided with the blue. She turned to The Collector with a smile.

"But…But I thought I was doing the right thing." Collector said.

"No, no, you did good, Collector." Luz said. "But this is a little more complicated. Don't worry, I think it... missed... me."

Luz realizes that the mold has already hit the fingers on her right hand, and it slowly takes over her body, while Dipper, Anne, Marcy, Sasha, Eda and King watch in horror.

Luz groans as it reaches her shoulder and her hat falls off of her head and floats down to the ground. Stringbean changes into her active form, and Luz slowly turns into small particles of light.

Dipper and the girls watch in horror as they saw that their vision were about to come true. "No." Dipper said.

"Luz, what's happening?" The Collector asked.

Luz began to cry as she turned to everyone she cared about. "Eda, King. Looks like we're gonna be split up again. I feel like I should be used to this feeling by now, but... I still don't know what to say."

When Luz finishes speaking, the mold covers her face and her entire body is now covered by the mold and she splits into several tiny balls of light. The Collector holds on to her hand and catches one of the light orbs, holding it tightly. With her owner gone, Stringbean reverts to her staff form and falls to the ground, landing close behind Luz's hat.

The Collector floats down and kneels and turns his head to Dipper, Anne, Marcy, Sasha, Eda and King. "Where did she go?"

Eda and King are too stunned to speak while Dipper was trying to hold back tears. The Calamity girls on the other hand, were so shocked, horrified and saddened that Luz had been killed that they were lightly glowing the respective colours of their Calamity gems.

The light orbs float through the damaged areas of the Isles. They travel by Hexside, where the students are terrified of the mold. They travel through one of the corridors of the palace where Yunan was cleaning her fists and stopped to see the lights. They finally reach the Archive House, where Gus, Pacifica, Grime, Willow, Hunter, and Amity observe, confused.

"What is this?" Amity asked.

Grime looked to puppet Camila and noticed that she was crying herself, like she had sensed the fate of her daughter.

Back with The Collector and co, they were still in shock by what had happened. "Luz? Luz? Yoo-hoo! You can come out now." The Collector called out for no one. "Well, it's okay. She just broke, so I'll fix her." He snaps his fingers, but the spell dissipates. "What? Why isn't it working? The Archivists aren't here. They couldn't have taken her."

In that moment, Dipper dropped to his knees and screamed in vengeful anger, sadness and regret. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! BELOS!" He put the mask back on and fired an energy beam from his chest at Belos.

Belos roared as it hit him. He inhaled through his nose and aimed his fire at Dipper's direction. King suddenly roars and defends Dipper, conjuring a round shield with glyph patterns on it. He has grown in size, his eyes have become purple and extra fangs have appeared in his jaw. A blue light glows in his mouth and tears stream down his face as he roars again.

"You killed her!" King cries in anguish before firing more fire at Belos.

Dipper joined in by firing beams from his hands straight towards Belos' direction. Belos was about to fire some more flames but then he was hit by a powerful energy of blue, red and green.

He looked to his right and saw Anne, Sasha and Marcy flying above him now glowing blue, red and green respectively. Tears were falling from their eyes as they stared at him.

He seemed baffled until Anne explained the situation. "You still have the gems you monster!" Anne said.

"That means we're connected." Sasha said.

"YOU'RE GOING TO FUCKING DIE!" Sasha screamed before raising her sword high and swinging it, causing a wave of energy to hit him.

"Owl Lady, what's happening?" Collector asked while watching.

"Step aside kid." Eda gently moves them out of her way. "I don't think I can control myself." Eda roars and grows in size and reverts to her original Owl Beast form. Her eyes have become orange and she now has extra sets of wings. Roaring again, she carries King and they soar to attack Belos along with the Calamity girls and Dipper.

King releases his power and they avoid Belos' blasts while Dipper fired more aggressive shots.

Marcy fired some flaming arrows from her crossbow powered by the calamity shard while Anne and Sasha were swinging swords at him.

Terrified, the Collector trips, causing him to let go of the light orb as he comes to the bleak conclusion. "She really is gone." He sobs as he let go of the light orb.

The light orb floats into the In-Between Realm and settles into the water. From it, Luz's body reappears and she sinks into the water. She sinks as she realises what she should have said not to just King or Eda but to everyone. 'Thank you.'

Then, from out the water, someone reaches down and manages to pull her back up. The person got her to her feet and began to pat her back so she could cough the liquid from her lungs.

"There, there. You're okay."

Luz managed to get her vision together and looked to the person who had saved her from drowning and it was K. "K?"

K gave Luz a smile. "Nice to see you again. It's been a while hasn't it?"

Luz stood up. "Wait, if you're here then does that mean I'm dead?" She began to sink into the liquid until the White Wolf saved her.

"I wouldn't do that." The White Wolf walked in front of Luz. "It's best you stay on the surface."

Luz seemed baffled. "A White Wolf?"

"Did you see that reaction coming?" The Guardian appeared on Luz's head, startling her.

"Well, I saw that one coming." The White Wolf said.

"Wait, aren't you Anne's cat?" Luz asked the Guardian as she took them off her head.

"No, I'm the Guardian." The Guardian replied. "I took on this form when I met Anne. Listen Luz, I have done this thing before. You're dead. Physically anyway. But spiritually you're alive unless you sink into those dark waters below. Death gets really upset about it."

Death ascended from the water and narrowed his eyes at the Guardian. "You've done it again?! Why are you always so inconsistent with your own rules?! You make my job so much harder!"

"Death?" Luz reacted.

Death sighed. "Yes I was meant to claim your soul but I guess I won't. Like the other three."

"Other three?" Luz looked toward K and the White Wolf.

"No, I'm not a soul." The White Wolf replied. "K is and so is this person who has been wanting to see you again for so long." The Wolf motioned Luz to turn around. When she did, right in front of her was none other than a person she thought she'd never see again. It was her Dad.

Luz gasped. "Papa?"

Manny smiled. "Mija."

Luz wasn't so sure if this was a near death vision she was having but all she wanted to do was hug her father. She and Manny began to hug each other with tears falling from their eyes.

"¡Te he echado tanto de menos!" Luz cried.

"Mira cuanto has crecido!" Manny began to examine his daughter's face. "You look exactly like your mother."

Luz stared at her father still trying to accept that he was here in front of her. "And you…Look like you."

Manny laughed and kissed her head. "By the way, as much as I'd like our reunion to last longer there's someone, a close friend who wishes to speak to you."

Then, a giant creature that looked like King began approaching Luz. It was wearing a Bad Girl Coven shirt, dark green pants, sandals and a purple gown. It even had a Hooty sticking out of his eye.

"Hello Luz." The creature said.

"King?" Luz reacted.

The Titan laughed. "No, but you can see where I get my good looks from."

"Luz, say hello to Craig, the Titan of the Isles." The Guardian said. "We called him Craig by the way."

The Titan laughed. "Please, call me Papa Titan. Craig is a stupid name. No offence to anyone named Craig anyway."

"I can't believe it, you're King's Dad." Luz said.

Papa Titan chuckled. "I think I said it both. I am King and Queen. Best of both things."

"He's saying he's similar to a clownfish." K said.

"But ya know, Dad or Papa is perfectly fine." Papa Titan said.

"What is this place?" Luz asked.

"This is the space in between." Death replied. "In-between life and death. You call it purgatory." Death shuddered. "My least favoured place."

"It's actually between a lot of places." The Guardian replied. "I created it as a means to see how strong willed people are that they wish to give up this place and continue living. Or they can stay here so I can have some company."

"It does when you happen to create everything while I just see all of time." The White Wolf said.

"I do admit our get togethers are nice and all when I have the time." Death said. "Ya know because I am Death and I am very busy."

"There's Brunch Monday." K said.

"Fruity Tuesday." Papa Titan said.

"Cheese Wednesdays." Manny said.

"Nacho Thursday." White Wolf said.

"Don't get me started on bagel Fridays!" The Guardian exclaimed.

"Oh and don't get me started on tea and crumpet Saturday." Papa Titan said.

"And my favourite, ice cream Sunday." K said.

"I and these fellas have been stuck here for quite some time." Papa Titan explained. "But at least we can keep an eye on mourning families." Papa Titan said as he looked through the cube showing Luz snuggling King. "And those who have been kind to him."

"I took the time to watch Masha." K explained as he watched through a cube. "As if my funeral wasn't bleak enough, Masha and Vee broke up. But now, they're back together and are now…Oh, they're making out on your bed."

"What?" Luz reacted.

"It's okay, I can make it stop." K knocked on the cube.

On the other end, Masha and Vee stopped making out and turned to the window in fear. "Uh….Masha?"

"Uh….I don't know." Masha shivered. "But I feel like we should stop."

Back in the In-Between, Manny walked up to his daughter. "And I've been watching as well. Mija, I'm amazed at how many friends you've made and that girlfriend of yours."

Luz blushed. "Yeah…She is pretty great, huh?"

"Great?!" Manny laughed. "I better be having grandkids from you and her."

Luz shoved her Dad. "Dad! It's too early."

Manny sighed. "Sorry, I just wanted to say that." Manny then gave his daughter a sad look. "Mija, why would you have said these awful things about yourself. You're one of the kindest people I've ever seen."

"I'm not so kind." Luz said. "When I saw the Collector fly up to Belos, I hoped with all my heart I would see them blast him away, and…"

"Are you kidding me?!" Death exclaimed. "He is a joke!"

"Yeah, we've been wanting him to be dead for years." The Guardian said.

"We even had a Dead Pool." The White Wolf said. "But they thought I'd cheat since I can see the future."

"So why won't you tell me when I can have him?!" Death exclaimed angrily.

"Because I can't tell anyone the future to ensure…"

"Excuse! Excuse!" Death interjected.

"I've been wanting him dead ever since you first told me about him." K said.

"Mija, all I ever wanted to do was to see Preston die after what he did to me." Manny said. "Death sucks but I wish I was actually there to see you grow up."

"I was willing to do anything to keep my kid safe." Papa Titan said. "But I attacked the wrong person. Dragged the Collector down here for nothing."

"Does that make us as bad as Belos?" Luz asked.

The Guardian raised a brow. "Uh…Are you cray-cray?"

"Mija, you are nothing like that monster." Manny said. "Why would you say that?"

"Well, Belos says he's trying to save humanity." Luz explained. "And we are saying we want to save our families. So isn't that the same thing? Don't—Don't these feelings come from the same place?"

"No." Death replied bluntly. "You're dating a witch and he would kill himself before getting married to one."

"You assume Belos's goal comes from a genuine place." Papa Titan said. "But that man doesn't care about anything but his need to be the hero in his own delusion. And because of that, he fears what he can't control."

"His fear comes from an outdated source of time." K said. "He is stuck in that time period not even progressing forward. His fear is his biggest weakness."

"And now that fear is gonna win." Luz said sadly.

"Oh dang." Papa Titan looked at his chest and saw the fungus spreading.

Death just smiled while everyone else looked alarmed. "Craig, there's no time."

"I thought I had more time." Papa Titan said. "Sorry. Are you ready to stop him, Luz?"

"What can I do?" Luz asked.

"You've already helped King so much." Papa Titan replied. "So let me use my last bit of life to help you."

"That means you're going to be revived." K explained.

"And he will pass on." The White Wolf said.

"Finally." Death muttered.

"Sorry Mija…" Manny hugged his daughter and kissed her head. "…Our goodbye is going to be short. You need to hurry."

Papa Titan extends his hand showing all the glyphs. "And I wish I had the time to say goodbye to you guys."

Luz looked unsure. "Are you sure about this?"

"Well, you're the one here, and you seem like a good witch." Papa Titan said. "But I can't give you anything unless you choose to accept it. So the question is, will you choose yourself?"

Luz gave a determined look and took the Titan's hand. She began to float upwards in a golden orb while everyone watched on.

"See ya kiddo." The Guardian said.

"And remember Mija, I love you." Manny said. "Tell your Mom I love her from every sector of the galaxy and give my regards to Amity."

"Belos will take over me as fast as he can." Papa Titan said. "Use my powers wisely."

"But-"

"The Owl Lady." Papa Titan smiled. "Send Eda my regards."

"But what about-"

"Dipper?! Tell him I loved his latest book."

"No, King, what about King? Don't you wanna say something to him?" Papa Titan pondered before leaning in to whisper something in Luz's ear. She smiles and then chuckles. "Oh, he'll love that."

Papa Titan takes on his larger form and starts to sink into the water. His body slowly sinks until it finally disappears into the water. "Goodbye Luz."

Back at the Archives House, Gus had activated a light glyph to reawaken Camila while everyone stared at her. "Camila? She's waking up."

"Ms Noceda, are you okay?" Pacifica asked.

Camila readjusts her glasses and sits up. "Pacifica? What happened? Where's Luz?"

Everyone gave an uncomfortable look which caused Camila some worry since they feel that she wasn't around. Then they heard someone walking in.

"I don't know what happened to Luz but I saw some lights floating around the palace and was wondering what it was." Yunan said.

"Who is the newt?" Camila asked.

"Ms Noceda, don't get her started." Grime said.

"Too late!" Yunan interjected as she readied her poses. "I am General Yunan! Scourge of the Sand Wars-" Yunan was interrupted when rumbling not far from them was heard.

They all look to see the walls and ceiling begin to collapse. Amity tries to create a shield with abomination matter, but it does not take form and falls on top of her.

"What's wrong with my magic?" Amity asked with worry.

"Can't you tell?" Camila asked as she pulled Amity up. "You're exhausted. You all are! None of you have gotten rest in days."

"Well what are we supposed to do?" Willow asked.

"And what about Luz?" Gus asked.

"Wasn't she balls of lights a moment ago?" Yunan's question got Amity saddened.

Then Camila grabs Amity. "Luz is a Noceda!" Camila exclaimed. "You know what that means? It means she's way too stubborn to let any of this get her down!" Everyone gave each other knowing nods. "She'll be okay." Camila began to approach the figures. "In the meantime…" She wipes away some tears and pulls out a notepad and pen. "…I think I found a way to help even without your magic."

The scene changes to Dipper, the Calamity Girls, Eda and King fighting Belos's monster form. They are still in a state of rage.

As they fight, and Belos fires, the Collector hides, unable to participate. The chaos sends Luz's staff flying near the Collector. He attempts to deescalate the battle.

"No, please stop! Run away!" He snaps his fingers, but nothing happens. "Why isn't anything working?"

Then, Anne, Sasha and Marcy landed in front of The Collector, their powers flickering, meaning they're de-powering. "I don't think we can beat him." Marcy said.

"l doubt we could beat him at full strength." Anne said.

"So this is how the heroes of Amphibia and Earth die?" Sasha asked. "Being turned to mushrooms. Does anyone else Boscha was hot or was that me?"

As The Collector watches the commotion he accidentally touches the mold. "I don't want anyone else to go away. I don't want anyone else to go missing! I'm sorry for everything!" The mold began to grow around his body just as Dipper landed beside the girls.

"I'm exhausted." Dipper panted. "We can't stop him." He unmasked his mask. "At least I got to see Pacifica for one last time."

The Collector sees the mold and began to panic. "What is this stuff? Wh-why won't it stop?" They see the mold growing onto Eda's claws and desperately brushes it off. "No! No, no, no, no! Get off of her!"

Eda, King and The Collector get with Dipper and the girls and saw Belos raising a claw. "Well, this is it girls." Anne said sadly.

"Well, Grunkle Stan once said the old dying before the young is depressing." Dipper said.

"Is that meant to be poignant?" Anne asked.

"I don't know." Dipper sighed.

Belos brings his hand down ready to crush everyone but a beam of purple light suddenly deflects it.

When the light clears, there is a gaping hole in Belos's hand. A light glyph shines through.

Everyone looked at the sight with shock. "What the…" Marcy reacted.

A figure can be seen with an appearance similar to a Titan. "Is that the Titan?" Sasha asked.

Stringbean suddenly becomes active becomes active and began to float to the figure then changes back to staff form.

Anne's eyes widened. "No way."

"It can't be." The Collector said.

Dipper smiled as tears fell. "It can be."

The fog clears to reveal that it's Luz but now a bit more fluffier, sharper fangs, eyes similar to the pool of the in-between. She takes ahold of Stringbean who turns into staff mode. Everyone is in shock and Eda and King's eyes revert back to normal.

Sasha on the other hand was blushing. "Why is Luz suddenly hot now?"

"You're into weird stuff." Anne whispered.

"Wait, how do we know it's Luz?" Marcy asked.

"I - wait - Uh. Couldn't keep me away from - Hang on." Luz stuttered. "Ugh! I still can't think of anything to say!"

"Okay, that's Luz." Marcy said.

Eda happily squeals as he eyes revert back to normal. "It is her!"

Belos roars in fury which causes everything to shake, including the Archive House. "Alright everyone, let's kick his ass!" Sasha commanded as she and the girls reactivated their powers.

Luz was surprised at their powers returning but then grinned just as Dipper put on his mask. Luz then creates a glowing orb around her, King, Dipper, the Calamity girls, Eda and the Collector. It shoots up suddenly and goes in a series of erratic motions. The crew can be heard screaming inside and it finally stops and everyone is shaken.

"Luz, I get you diced, but don't take it out on us." Sasha said.

"Whoops!" Eda laughed. "Overshot it a little. Sorry, I'm still getting used to my powers."

They hear Belos roar and see the Archive house shake. "Crap! Everyone is still in the Archive house." Dipper said.

"Leave that to me." The Collector summons a star and began flying toward it. They notice the mold crawling along his arm and pulled a determined look on his face. "Come on! Come on! You can do it!"

Dipper, the Calamity girls Eda, Luz, and King travel to the stage below the Archives. The mold approaches quickly and takes forms of monstrous faces.

Dipper aimed his wrist towards the mold and a small flamethrower to start burning it. Anne swiped her sword causing a large wave of energy to come out, Sasha span her swords causing tiny little blades to impale the fungal mold and Marcy fired some arrows at the mold.

Luz starts a spell, but struggles to make it. Eda holds Luz's hand and guides her. "Concentrate. Think about what you want."

The spell manifests into a large shield. The moss bounces off of it and curls upward. Luz and Eda push it forward and it eradicates the mold. Red grass takes over and shines in the arena.

"Go Luz!" Dipper cried as his armoured hand turned into a blade that he used to slice the mold.

Some more of the moss began to show up, causing the Calamity girls to fight back and for King to have an idea.

"Hey Luz, on three! One…"

"Two…"

"Three!" Luz and King made a 'Weh' sound and destroyed most of the moss. The rest of it starts to engulf the roof of the arena. Luz and King rub their faces together, smiling.

Anne and Sasha clashed their sword together to generate an energy blast that disintegrated most of it.

Luz flies upwards on Stringbean with King and the others in tow and indicates for Eda to follow her. "Eda!" Luz extends her staff and Eda grabs her free hand. They spin in a circle and create a giant light spell that clears the entire area.

They notice a looming shadow and realize the left arm of the Titan is rising. "Hang on." Luz surrounds everyone in a sphere and flies up and began to scrape the mold off of the arm.

Bad at the Archives, Amity rescues Cat using a plant glyph as a giant rock falls above her, which Willow destroys with a fire glyph. Amity looks back at Willow and gratefully smiles at her, receiving a smile in return.

Camila continuously draws various glyphs and hands some off to Hunter. One of the rocks was about to crash on her, but Yunan quickly flew upwards and sliced through it with her wrist blades.

Gus on his staff holding Amelia over his shoulder before a stray rock hits him and he falls. Gus uses a safety spell to gently fall and Hunter saves Gus's palisman by using an ice glyph.

Hunter carries Amelia away as Gus flies off with more glyphs in hand. Pacifica was trying to hold Lilith up while trying to catch Gilbert Park.

Everything violently shakes again, causing the castle to lose its support at The Titan's horn. They panic as they plummet, but pink strings manifest and hold it up. The Collector is seen straining to hold the structure up and the gang stares in shock as he smiles down on them.

"The Collector?" Gus reacted.

"Is he helping us?" Pacifica asked.

"Aww, I was planning to kill him and stuff them." Yunan groaned.

Back to the fight against Belos, still in their glowing sphere, Luz, Anne, Sasha, Dipper, Marcy, Eda, King, and Stringbean make it to the top and are now in space.

"Wow, so beautiful." Everyone stared at the full Titan in awe.

"I'm honestly worried for the people living on the arm." Dipper said.

Luz notices that her Titan power is beginning to fade and looks at the glowing orb coming from the skeleton. "We gotta get to Belos' power." Luz said.

"What you thinking?" Eda asked.

Luz grins. "Come on Eda, you know where the magic comes from." Eda smiles at Luz.

"The heart!" Luz, King and Eda say in unison.

The sphere rockets down and lands forcefully near the Titan's heart and Belos screams in agony as he feels this.

Meanwhile, Raine caught in the moss are whistling their version of Raine's Rhapsody in order to halt the moss's growth. Their glasses have fallen off, and a beam of purple light can be seen on the glass reflection. Raine becomes wary as they see the people.

"Who's there?" Raine asked.

"Raine, it's us!" Sasha replied.

"Sasha?" Raine reacted. "You're back?"

Eda manages to pull Raine from the mold and puts their glasses back on. "I got you Rainestorm." She kisses their lips.

"I'm so glad you're back." They stood to look at everyone else. "Uh…Sasha, Marcy, are you glowing? And I assume the blue one is Anne?"

"Hey." Anne said.

"And who's the robot?"

Dipper removed his mask. "Dipper Pines. Or you might know me as Mason."

"Oh yeah, I read your book." Raine said. "Absolutely terrible. And Luz? Is that you?" They readjust their glasses. "Were you always fluffier?"

Luz saw the symbol on her chest blinking. "We don't have time."

They clear a path to the throne room in the castle by whistling.

The group see Belos' form in the heart and prepare for an onslaught. "No!" Belos cries.

Luz launches spells that destroy the upcoming branches of mold, then summons a set of ice steps and climbs to the heart. She grabs onto Belos' ribcage and starts pulling.

"You can't beat me!" Belos exclaimed.

A large number of hands manifest and attempt to hurt Luz. Eda slices them up with her harpy magic. Raine whistles at the mold and causes it to retreat. King releases his powers and helps to protect Luz. Marcy fires some arrows from her crossbow, setting the mold on fire. Anne and Sasha slice the mold with their swords.

Luz's eyes began to glow. "Do not underestimate me Belos! For I am Luz Noceda! Child of the Human Realm, student of the Demon Realm and Warrior of Peace!"

Back at the Archive house, The Collector struggles to hold the roof while everyone continued to struggle to keep everyone together.

"Come on, Luz!" Grime exclaimed. "You can do it!"

Meanwhile at the castle, the group continued to destroy the mold while Belos gets pulled further away from the heart by Luz. "NOW EAT THIS SUCKER!"

And with a mighty scream, Luz successfully rips Belos off of the Titan's heart and everything falls silent as her screams echo into the silence.

The monster version of Belos outside the heart screams in agony as its heart emits a flash of purple and black lights and it explodes. The Titan's hand is stabilized as a rush of the remaining energy runs through it. The Titan's eyes lose color signifying Belos' loss of control of the Isles.

Back at the castle, the monster turns to stone and eventually turns into dust and is blown away, along with the mold, thus restoring the red grass across the Isles.

The Archives are slowly lowered down to the Titan's head and the pink strings disappear as an exhausted Collector flies to where Camila and the others are. The blue star disappears as the mold around his hands slowly begins to fade away.

Amity steps closer as the Collector recoils in fear and Amity then offers her hand out to him instead of being scolded. He takes it, and small tears form in his eyes. They all rush to the balcony, and they watch in awe as the mold slowly clears up.

"We won." Pacifica said.

Yunan gave Pacifica a look. "No, there's still another problem."

"I mean, yeah, the Isles need to be rebuilt and every puppet need to be reverted back." Pacifica said.

"The Core." Yunan reminded her. "It's still here."

"Come on Yunan, don't ruin the moment." Grime commanded.

At Hexside, the mold at the front door starts to fade. Skara slowly opens the door as she and Matt stare in shock. After fully opening the door, they and a few other students observe their surroundings and slowly smile at the sight.

Boscha walks out and smiles. "Way to go, Sasha."

Back at the castle, the mold also starts to clear up one by one. Raine, Dipper, Anne, Sasha, Marcy Eda and King burst out of the mold. They gasp for air as Raine and Eda look at each other and she smiles.

"Where's Luz?" Anne asked.

"Over there." Marcy points to the distance, with the moon looming far from them.

She was staring at the small remnants of Belos' goo form, which slowly begins to assemble to take on the form of Philip Wittebane.

Luz. Luz, I'm- I'm free. Thank goodness you saved me from…" He pauses his speech as he sweats nervously. "From that horrible curse." Luz just glares at him knowing he's lying again and trying to save his own skin. "Yes, I-I was cursed with a terrible, terrible sickness by— by dark magic, just like your mentor." The dark sky began to show, signalling the approach of the boiling rain. "It forced me to do all those awful things! I mean you saw it!" He points to the damage he caused. A drop of boiling rain falls onto the back of Philip's left hand and he groans in pain, with the part of his hand that the rain touched becoming green. More boiling rain starts to fall from the sky. "Ah! Quickly now!" He began crawling at Luz. "Don't you want to make peace?!" The Raine continued to convert him into the goo.

He partially changed back into his goo form as he stares at Luz with desperation. "Don't just stand there!" His body decomposes until he's fully changed back into his goo form and he starts to crawl towards Luz, whose eyes are now closed, and her head is slightly turned to her left as the boiling rain continues to turn into pink, purple and yellow sparkles upon landing on her. "You'll be just as bad, just as conniving, just as evil, and just as unforgivable as those witches."

Luz steps back just as Eda, Dipper and Raine walk up to him. With Raine holding a leaf over them to protect them from the boiling rain.

"You're right, we are better than this." Dipper said. "Just better than you."

Raine narrowed their eyes at Raine. "I told you I'd be there for your end." They raised their respective feet and Belos stares at them with alarm before they began bashing him into nothing.

"Woo! That was extremely satisfying." Eda smiled at Raine.

Dipper began scraping his foot on the ground. "Gross, he's on my foot!"

Dipper, Eda, Anne, Sasha, Marcy, King and Raine turn around and see Luz glowing. She begins to float up, and the symbol on her chest turns into six golden lines with purple outlines, which travel up to her eyes. Luz opens her eyes, which glow a brilliant gold, and her power from the Titan finally released. The energy manifests into the form of the Titan as many glyphs appear around it. The manifestation roars as everyone watch in shock.

"Wow!" Anne remarked.

"Is that…The Titan?" Raine asked.

Eda look at King. "Dang kid, you do have tall genes." King smiled at the spirit of his father.

King's eyes sparkle in amazement as the manifestation of his father roars again before it flies away and disappears.

Luz, who has returned to normal and is back in her Azura costume began to fall and yell. Eda and King run up to her and catch her. Then the trio lay on their backs, side by side, panting. The clouds slowly part to reveal the sun shining as the trio watch, their faces steady, realising that they have indeed beaten Belos once and for all.

Just then, Luz remembers something. "Oh, your Dad wanted to say this to you." Luz began whispering something into King's ear.

"I loaf you?" King reacted.

"Ouch, that's harsh." Marcy said as she and the girls deactivated their Calamity powers.

"No, he said I loaf you." King laughed. "It's a bread pun!"

They continued to lie on their backs as they caught their breaths. "I can't believe we did it." Luz said. "We won."

"No." Dipper said. "I hate to rain in on your parade, but there's still a ton of problems." The trio sat up as they turned to face Dipper.

"What?" Marcy asked.

"The Isles need rebuilding, the puppets need to be freed, the school needs to be reorganised and more importantly The Core is somewhere." Dipper said.

"Oh yeah, there is that problem." Sasha said.

"But we don't have a lead to them." Anne said.

"Actually, you might have a lead." King said. "In the enclosure, we have two robot heads. Some came to the palace to attack so ya know, The Collector wiped the floor with them."

"Okay, I'm gonna take a look at these bots." Dipper said.

"I'll come too." Marcy said before she activated her powers. "I just got these and I want to take them on a test run."

"What about you guys?" Dipper asked.

Sasha scoffed. "I'm the president of New Hexside. I gotta check on my people."

"Rest." Luz, Eda, King, Raine and Anne said simultaneously.

"That might be a good thing for you guys." Dipper remarked. "Marcy, with me." Dipper and Marcy took off toward the Archives while Sasha began walking to Hexside.

"Hey Sasha, Luz told me about your new girlfriend." Eda said, mocking Sasha.

"Boscha was just someone I flirted with to put them off." Sasha argued while walking.

Eda gave Luz a concerned stare. "It's not over yet? Is it?"

Luz gave Eda a smile. "It's not. But we can do it again. We just need a very long rest."
