After Slade took Rose in my previous arc with the HIVE, he's not the one starting fires back at the organization's new headquarters - but his daughter is back at the center of this betrayal? Jericho believes that someone else could be pulling the strings. The Titans are off to London to have a go at this mystery; of disappearing heroes, Rose's return and...two esper - U.K, Titans?

Chapter 15: Rumble in the Jungle

When we last saw our heroes; Robin and Slade were in quite a pinch as the new HIVE queen's entertainment. Starfire, Beastboy and the rest of Titans UK with Raven's kids all have to find a way to get past security and free their brainwashed Titans Global. While Raven, Eli and Cyborg will try a different approach to getting past Rose's security, Eli tells the two senior heroes that he took a peek into Slade's memories back in Japan and fears for Robin's safety. Is he right? Will Slade turn on them and go against their mission to save whoever is planting ideas in Rose's head, or is she the real mastermind? Find out!

Grant shook his head beside his rather transfixed sibling. "If we ever get Joey up there, be sure to up his competition." Rose's smile was not child friendly as Robin's arch enemy was slammed into the wall by Hot Spot's blast. However, those fires were just minimized as whips, not flamethrowers.

"Taking the heat, gramps? I can give you a hundred an' ninty – eight degrees to worry about!" The brainwashed Titan had Slade run behind and flip over a bit of debris from earlier, a large enough cover to recover a flail as he swung the damn thing, tripping HS in the process, before punching his part of the suit that kept him to be such a hot head. "I'm not old enough to be put on a pyre, try as you might!" The suit's interface had Hot Spot turn back as Slade punched him again.

"K – o???" Grant grabbed the side of their booth and shouted. "Unfair advan –

"Don't be such a baby." Slade dusted off his messy attire and scornfully glared at his idiot son. "I know the Titans' every weakness, boy. You think I wouldn't have allowed you use me as a punching bag?" His eye widened as Grant gasped. Rose rolled her eyes as a second gate opened up. "How about we find your match, then?" She smirked as Slade turned to see something he'd really have avoided.

Grant bit his lip and paced outside of the arena. If he was going to get Genreral Immortus to trust him, how was Rose's fail in her brainwashing bull going to take HIM to greater heights if Slade was unstoppable?? His unit beeped by his belt as a face showed on the screen.

~ Bienvenue, Young Ravager. (typo) Did the technology I supplied to your cause suffice in controlling your mortal enemies, the Teen Titans. ~

"Sorry, but I had one subject that can't stay down. You got an inhibitor –

~Slade Wilson won't yield to that, yet you know what he will once it happens. Deliver my cut of the heroes and your sister's curative will be at hand. ~ The Brain, the Brotherhood had promised to erase her madness so she could act less like he was. What Slade had done was unforgivable. Before that, HE had administered the damn drug before Grant got a clue as to what it was for. Rose was loyal, lethal and Grant was angry at his father. If anyone was going to save his half-sister, it was him. Brain had given the few tools that he'd need to bring Deathstroke to the Brotherhood as their chew toy. He just wanted to get away from his family. Especially his traitor sympathizer of a younger brother.

He growled and the call had to be cut, Brain seeing that it wasn't time to bring out their secret weapon just yet. No collars for that wild animal. Groaned the –

He checked his device again.

"Intruders…and look who it is…."

Starfire and Beastboy tried to see if the dome was not surrounded with a forcefield while Timmy and Melvin's group all collaborated in a scare the guards or sneak attack battle strategy.

"We can stay out here and break the wall…maybe it will all fall down." Melvin told Jericho as he nodded to Gar, the kids understanding as they stayed beside Joey and waited. "We can't have you getting caught by your snotty older brother." Bb told the blonde. Joey lowered his eyes. ~They made some terrible choices, yet they deserve justice. Please, find out if Rose is alright. ~

"We shall." Starfire smiled and BB was lifted to get to the one blind spot they could find in the watch station of the wall. Jericho sighed, not realizing how out in the open they all were until Timmy's mouth was covered and he was dragged off –

Cardiac tossed the boy to his captor, Grant tapping his foot and making a "well" motion with his arms at the ugly machine. "You got any idea what you just did to my plan?? Go get the rest! Argh!"

Cardiac was going to be in a pinch until Billy Numerous showed round the corner with a corndog and had a smashing solution!

"Boss, I got the ticket right here; we make four of um. I got this new power to duplicate objects so why not give ole' Billy a chance to help you with stopping those dumb heroes?"

"If you can do it…." Grant gritted his fists before shooting a seething glare at the bumbler. "THEN DO IT!!"

Slade tapped his foot, pretending to look bored as Rose scratched her head and wondered who could defeat –

The HIVE queen suddenly grinned and snapped her fingers. Grant had sent her an update and it was not good. It was…

"I think we should up that anti – heroic look on your face, daddy! Next up is…."

Cyborg with Raven's help and Eli's had become the image of a guard, a way to create that illusion had to have left the empath winded, yet Eli tugged at his restraints in a way a lot more as the Authority's go to ally.

"In or wait for it?"

"Now!" Raven whispered as Cy walked up in a military fashion to the gates. The two getting their bodies to become transparent as they stayed close. "Halt!"

The first guard looked over the very well-made copy, then motioned for Cy to proceed. There was no way they'd be spotted.

Detected?

Yet that was debatable as Psimon weaned out Eli.

He was no magi, so Raven was forced to flee as he glared at her to mentally let him infiltrate one area on his own.

There was no way she'd do that, yet he was serious. Cy just walked on, the psychic match not between the fake soldier as Raven re – materialized once they were away from everyone.

She shook her head. "I can get him out of –

"We can worry about Eli after we get our butts to the others and break them outta here, but right now you and I don't know –

A blast and a crackle had Psimon flying onto his back as Eli dusted his hand and cracked his neck soon after, looking ready for another go. "Your enemies are a might weak compared to the Authority's enemies." He concluded with a sigh and a smug smirk. Raven snorted and Cy, was super impressed. Almost as if Eli were an entirely different person. "Ready to save the bunch, mates?" He looked up at their faces as the three took off for those prison cells below the Queen's fortress.

Going to keep it going since if I lump more in, it will be a shorter conclusion. We need them twists! In the next, who ends up being Slade's opponent? And can Joey question; overshadow a machine…? Find out why Grant is siding with help from the Brotherhood to save Rose from, Slade's drugging and tactics and not his?? Well, this just had itself on its head for me.
