"Only For You pt 2"

(Cat/Jade)

Jade is at Cat's house for the weekend, taking care of her after breaking her wrist.

A day has passed since Cat broke her wrist, and she is doing much better by this afternoon, after having gotten plenty of sleep. Jade is here for the weekend, and she has been spending the day hanging out with Cat, and taking care of her while Cat's mother, Judy, is at work. They both woke up around 10am, had breakfast together, and watched a movie. Jade decided to let Cat pick a movie, and she chose one of her favorites, "Frozen". Although it wouldn't be a first choice for Jade, she wanted to do what she could to help Cat feel better, and she knew this film made her happy. The film did have plenty of good songs, so it wasn't so bad for Jade to sit through, even though Olaf could be a little too cheery for her liking. Midway through the movie, Cat was getting tired, and Jade let the smaller girl lay her head down on her lap, and fall asleep. Jade sat petting her head, with Cat mumbling a 'thank you' before nodding off. This made Jade feel good, not only to be helping someone she really cared about, but the fact that Cat trusted her with her well being. Not too many people let Jade in this much, and it meant the world to her that Cat saw through the tough facade Jade presented to others.

Around 2pm, Cat woke up feeling sore, and Jade brought over her pain medicine to take, while offering to make her something for lunch. She remembered that Judy told the girls about the leftover chicken, rice, and vegetables in the fridge, and Jade made both of them a plate. Cat sat at the table with a grin on her face as she watched Jade heat up their food, and bring their plates to the table. She noticed Jade's eyes shift toward her, then away while she was being watched, and it made Cat giggle. When reaching for her fork and knife, Cat fumbled awkwardly with the cast on her right wrist, and Jade walked over to her side of the table.

"Here, let me help you,"Jade said, cutting up Cat's chicken.

"Thanks."

Cat watched while Jade helped with her food, and couldn't keep the smile off her face.

"Ya know, this is nice. I really like you taking care of me," Cat said, before looking back down at her plate.

"I kinda like it, too," Jade shrugged.

After the food was all cut up, and Cat was able to use just her fork, Jade kissed the top of Cat's head, and then sat in front of her rice and vegetables. Jade poured them both iced tea, and the two ate in companionable silence. Cat stared at Jade over the rim of her iced tea glass, and Jade couldn't help but laugh as she caught her glance. Cat was the only one who could make Jade feel this flush and giggly, and the only one who could bring out this nurturing side of her. She hated the word "Giggling" or any form of it, but it was the only word to describe how Jade would get around the adorable redhead sitting across from her. She could feel Cat's toes graze hers under the table, and that only made Jade laugh more.

"Stop it. You're too cute," Jade said, taking a big sip of her tea.

"I can't help it," Cat said.

They continued playing footsie, while they finished eating, and Jade got up to clear the table. Cat turned to face Jade, watching her do the dishes, while resting her chin on her fist. This alone time has made Cat forget any pain she was in, and she wished that this would never end. Jade turned back toward Cat, smiling while drying her hands.

"So what do you want to do now?" Jade asked.

"We could watch another movie."

"Sure, which one?"

"You pick." Cat said.

"Hmm, I don't know if you'd like any of the movies I like."

"No really, It's okay. You were nice enough to watch "Frozen" for me. You should get to pick the next one." Cat told her.

Jade thought about it for a moment, and decided on a movie that was still her taste, but on the lighter side.

"Okay, how about "Deadpool" ?"

"Sure, that's a comic book movie, right?" Cat asked.

"Yeah, but it's a funny one. You'll like it."

"Kk."

Cat and Jade got cuddled up on the couch, and Jade started the movie. Jade grabbed the fuzzy blanket from the back of the couch, and wrapped it around Cat, while kissing her cheek and sitting next to her. Cat leaned back against Jade, and Jade wrapped her arms around the other girl, pulling her close. As the movie went on, Jade worried whether some of the violence might be too much for Cat, but she seemed to be enjoying it, and it even got a few laughs out of her. Cat enjoyed watching Jade watch the movie, and laughing at her favorite parts. She thought about how they needed to make this a regular thing with the two of them sharing movies with each other. After a little under two hours, the movie was over, and Cat's eyes were getting heavy, and Jade opted to call it a night.

"What do you say we head up to bed?"

"But I'm not tired." Cat said, while yawning.

"Yes you are. I can see it in your eyes." Jade said, standing up, reaching for Cat's hand. "Come on."

Cat took Jade's hand, and the two went upstairs. She plopped down on the edge of the bed, while Jade pulled back the covers, and helped Cat get settled in. At least they were already in sweats so there was no need to change, and they could get themselves comfortable. Jade adjusted the pillows on her side while noticing the shy smile coming from Cat while she sat up on the other side.

"Come here, you." Jade said, reaching out her arms.

Cat snuggled into Jade, laying her head on the other girl's chest. Jade hugged her tight, while stroking her hair. Cat let out a breath while scooting in as close as she can.

"I think this is one of the best days we've ever had together,"Cat said.

"Yeah, me too."

"I love you, Jade." Cat said, looking up at her.

Jade looked back down at her with a smile.

"I love you, too."

Their lips met in the middle, for a soft and slow kiss. This was the first time either of them had said 'I love you', and they didn't know what else to do except let their lips do the talking. Jade couldn't ask for more than to be loved by someone so sweet and so genuine. Cat has always been real with Jade, and the truest friend she's ever had. It's what makes taking care of her so special, and something she would never regret.
