Welcome.

Second chapter is here and hopefully you enjoyed the first one. This chapter will include some rather descriptive violent parts, but I doubt any of you will care lol.

I enjoyed writing this chapter, so it better be worth it for you guys, enjoy reading.

Location: Princes Gate, South Kensington

Lincoln was standing in front of a board with the layout of the building. He was dressed in a black kit Adams team used, as requested by the sarge of Adams unit. The kit consisted of Lincoln and his team wearing black fireproof overalls, black lightweight boots, lightweight vest that held Lincolns magazines. S10 respirator gas masks were sitting on the table in the room. Inside the rest of the room were the rest of Lincolns team he would be working with and more equipment such as communications and officers who were also inside keeping an eye on everything and watching the doors.

"Funny how things come around"

Lincoln jumped as Adams came up beside him, wearing the same gear as him. Adams was also holding a cup of tea.

"You guys really have time for tea?" Lincoln asked him.

"It's no for me" Adams said as he handed Lincoln the cup "Figured if this is your first time you could use something to calm you down haha" Adams said as he patted Lincoln on the back.

Lincoln shook his head and took a sip from the cup. He had to admit, it tasted pretty good, and it was very calming for him as his nerves were shaken. Even though he has trained for situations like this.

"What did you mean by how things come around?" Lincoln asked Adams.

"In 1980 the Iranian embassy took princess gate hostage, until the SAS stopped them. 40 years go by and it's happening again, just funny how they came back to the same place, recreating history" Adams said as he took a sip of his own tea.

"You nervous too?"

Adams nodded as he swallowed and placed his hand on Lincolns shoulder "Know this son. It will never get easy. Doing stuff like this as your job, you will never feel calm and never feel scared of what might happen once we go through" Adams admitted to Lincoln "But we do what we're trained to do and just do what we can to save everyone"

With Adams saying that, it really put into Lincolns perspective that he has others' lives in his hands. He could either save everyone or lose someone today.

Adams came back now holding a black MP5 with a flashlight on the front, standing stock and a strap.

"Standard rifle for my team, now it's yours" Adams said as he handed it to Lincoln.

He put down his cup of tea and took the rifle. Lincoln then walked up to one of the tables holding all the gear and picked up one of the magazines, loading the rifle with one of the 30 magazines. Adams also handed Lincoln a Sig Sauer P228 semi-automatic pistol, flashlight attached to it as well as the MP5.

"Similar to what you use as well" Adams said as Lincoln put the MP5 down and took the pistol.

Lincoln slid it into his holster in his belt and had also equipped some magazines for his weapons in his vest and belt.

"Now you're looking like one of us" Adams joked with Lincoln.

Lincoln picked up the cup of tea and started to drink it all, even though it was hot, he didn't care. He started to feel more nervous as he put the gear on. And now carrying his weapons too, made him need to calm down more.

"You'll need another one" Adams said as Lincoln finished the tea in one big gulp.

"Ahem- I think I do" Lincoln said as he wiped his mouth from the drip of tea down his chin.

"Go have a seat, you're just getting more nervous as you look at the board" Adams said as he patted Lincolns back.

Lincoln nodded and left the board while Adams spoke with one of his men near the board.

Peters was sat down on a sofa taking a phone call, watching the tv as well, same as some other men who were watching the news. Seeing cameras outside that were facing the building at a distance, even a helicopter flying at a distance trying not to get too close to the building.

Lincoln made himself another tea and sat down next to Peters. He was still on his phone call, so Lincoln just watched the tv, seeing the news.

"It has been almost 2 days since the terrorists have taken princess gate hostage. It's almost as if history has repeated itself, referring to the 1980 Iranian embassy hostage situation. Like this right now, but no word of why the terrorists are doing this" A reporter explained as she was standing in front of the camera with a microphone.

"Yeah, I know honey...I miss you and Emma too, I'll be home soon...I love you, can you put Emma on the phone? Hi Emma!" Peters said as he was taking his phone call. Lincoln tried not to listen but couldn't help it since Peters wasn't trying to be quiet "Hi sweetie! Why are you still up? You have school tomorrow...oh that's right it is Saturday tomorrow! Oh, my goodness I'm so silly, well remember you still have a bedtime, so listen to mummy and go to bed when she asks okay? Thank you, I'll see you when I get back from work, daddy loves you"

Lincoln understand Peters was talking with his wife and daughter, not something Lincoln knew about but understood since Peters was in his 30s. A few years from his 40s.

Peters finished his phone call after talking to his wife. He put the phone down and tilted his head back. Lincoln then spoke up.

"I didn't know you had a daughter" Lincoln said.

Peters didn't lift his head up to look at Lincoln "Yeah, she turned 8 last week, I wasn't there for it" Peters said as he rubbed his head.

"You missed your daughter's birthday?" Lincoln asked.

"Lincoln, I've missed birthdays, anniversaries, parties, Christmas's and other special occasions because of my job. My wife understands but when your daughter doesn't have her dad with her on her birthday or misses a bunch school plays, it's hard to explain to her" Peters rambled a little.

Adams came over with another cup of tea "Think you might need this more than Lincoln" Peters took the cup without hesitation and started sipping it.

"Do you have kids Adams?" Lincoln asked.

Adams walked around and sat in the empty armchair "I have 2, 2 boys" Adams told Lincoln "Oldest is almost 12 and the youngest is 5"

"Have they asked any questions about why you aren't around so much?" Lincoln asked another question.

"Sometimes, but when I'm back they don't ask much, just how long I'm staying for this time" Adams said as he sipped his tea "Just know if you ever get married and have kids while still doing this job, you won't be around a lot for much. I might miss my eldest's birthday, I hope I don't but it's not something I have control of"

Lincoln started to think about it. If he ever does get married or ends up having kids, he might not be around for even their birthdays or anniversary. He had no clue how Adams and Peters still manage with their families. What if he misses his family's special occasions. What if his wife gives birth and Lincoln isn't there. What if his wife can't handle him being gone for a while.

"Alright, let's go over the plan" Sergeant Connor said as he got up and turned the tv off.

Everyone stood up and stood in front of the board side by side. Connor stood in front of everyone as he stood to the side of the board for everyone to see.

"Alright, so we have word that there's 15 hostages inside and 6 gunmen. Police have said there was one spotted waving a grenade around, so there's a possible explosive inside the building. Sergeant Loud, you will lead your men down to the first story while my men take the ground floor. You'll make your way down using the gear given to you, place an explosive and then make your way in as we clear the ground floor while you handle the first floor" Connor briefed everyone "you tell us when hostages are making their way down over the radio and make sure to scan every room, understood?"

Lincoln and his team nodded.

"Any suggestions?" Connor asked.

No one spoke up.

"Alright. We let the negotiators try and talk the terrorists out of it, if they do not co-operate and we're given the go, we move in" Connor finished and walked off.

Lincoln kept looking at the board, to which Peters noticed and stayed beside Lincoln.

"Feel like you can manage that?" Peters asked him.

"Just hope nothing goes wrong" Lincoln replied.

Adams patted Lincoln on his back "Not when you're wish us"

5 days later

5 days have passed, and the gunmen are still holding people hostage. They let one free as they were having a heart attack, so there's now 14 hostages left inside. The hostage said inside that there are people mixed up in different rooms as there was only a few in the room that she was in. So that makes this a little more difficult as they need to check every room, which might have a gunman or two inside with the hostages.

Lincoln and his team have slept in the building they were sets up in, having slept on the couch or the floor. Lincoln didn't have too much luck sleeping as he was on high alert in case someone got shot during the night. He did look out the window seeing the street block on both ends. He couldn't open the curtains as that would expose them a little to the public. Lincoln was sat with Peters playing some cards at the table with some other men.

"I don't know about you, but I could use a walk" Lincoln said as he was desperate for some fresh air when all he could smell is cigarettes in the room. Peters was smoking a cigarette right in front of him.

"Don't like the smell do you" Peters said laughing a little as he held the cigarette between his lips.

"I didn't grow up with the smell, never happened in my family" Lincoln said.

"You wanting to give it a try?" Peters said as he held the box out to Lincoln "Calms you down better than a cup of tea, you've drank about 15 cups this week"

"So, you think cigarettes will help?" Lincoln said.

Peters gestured to the other men who were also smoking. They didn't need to say anything as Lincoln knew what the answer to his question was.

He rolled his eyes and took a cigarette from the packet. Peters held the light up for Lincoln as he held it between his lips and leaned in to the lighter for Peters to light it.

"Don't inhale straight away, give it a little time" Peters said as he lit the end of the cigarette.

Lincoln saw the smoke start from the end and let it light for a couple seconds, then started to inhale slowly.

"*Cough! Cough!*"

Lincoln started coughing as he took the first inhale of it. The other men laughed "Aye, that's what happened to us when we first tried it"

"*Cough* How did you- *Cough* -get use to these?" Lincoln asked them as he kept coughing a little more.

"Just takes time son, try again once you've stopped" Peters said as he went back to playing cards with the guys.

Once Lincoln finished coughing and cleared his throat, holding the cigarette between his fingers, he lifted it back to his lips and inhaled again. This time he didn't feel pain in his throat and started to feel a little burst of adrenaline and pleasure from the smoke. This helped Lincoln calm down.

"There we go. Have some control, we only smoke when we're on the job" Peters said as he slid the ashtray to Lincoln for him to tap his cigarette in.

The cigarette did help Lincoln calm down, but he didn't feel addicted, maybe he can have some control and not get addicted in the future.

*BANG*

A gunshot was heard.

Everyone jumped up at the gunfire. Connors ran into the room.

"Gunfire inside the building, let's move"

Lincoln put his cigarette out and got up with his team, grabbing their weapons and their gear. Lincoln felt ready and calmer than he really should about this. Lincoln and his team made their way up the stairs and Connors team made their way down the stairs and outside to the front door. The gear was set up on the roof for Lincoln and his men to rappel down to the balcony and blow the window open. Lincoln looked over the balcony after reaching the top, they can hear the screaming inside and seeing the public in panic in confusion of what is happening.

"Mask Sarge" one of Lincolns men said as Lincoln forgot his respirator.

He put his mask on and had his MP5 strapped to his chest tightly as he put his rappel gear for the descent.

"In position?" Lincoln heard over his radio on his shoulder from Connor.

"In position, good to go" Lincoln replied to Connor.

Lincoln and his men stepped over the roof, holding the rope tightly waiting for the command to go.

"GO GO GO"

The loud house

Back home the family were over for dinner. Lori, Leni, Luna, Lynn and Lisa all came home after being away for either college or work. Lisa was already in college by the time she was 13 so she has been at college for a year. The rest of the sisters went to college apart from Luna who was already on a tour with her band and was luckily able to visit her family this week.

The younger girls from Lucy to Lilly were in school still, Lucy now 18 and the twins being 16 and Lilly now 11.

Lori got a job as a lawyer and works at a law firm in their hometown. Her and Bobby live together in an apartment and Lori still likes to play golf and spends less time on her phone now. Unless it's to do with work or family.

Leni got a job as a designer, getting to work at a clothing brand designing new clothing ideas, accessories and footwear as well. She lives with one of her friends and can still sometimes be a little dull but has matured a little since she was 16.

Luan is a full-time comedian, doing small gigs and does entertainment for parties and weddings. Nothing special but she loves making people laugh even if she only makes her family groan at her random jokes. She and Luna have an apartment together and they don't see each other much since they travel a lot for their jobs.

Lynn went to college for physical educations and works as a coach for multiple sports teams and is working her way to being a coach for an NBA team. She lives outside of town but is only a drive away and lives alone. She was hoping to get an apartment with Lincoln maybe but due to him wanting to join the army, that idea was scrapped.

Lynn Sr and Rita on the other hand haven't changed aside from a couple wrinkles in the past 10 years.

Everyone was sat at the dinner table. As far as clothing goes, not much has changed.

Lori was dressed a little more mature and wore basically brown dress pants and a blue notched blouse and flat shoes. For work she would wear a suit and high heels.

Leni wore blue jeans and a light green crop top with high heels she designed and wore sunglasses on her head, never on her eyes for some reason.

Luan wore a custom shirt that was covered in her iconic jokes from her acts. She wore leggings and high heels. She also had her hair cut to shoulder length and tie the back of her hair up.

Luna was dressed pretty much the same style as she did when she was 15. Wearing a skirt covered in chains, pikie hair, a purple shirt with her band's logo on it and had a proper ear piercing. Better than her paper clip piercing she had. She also had some tattoos on her arms and neck.

Lynn was dressed a bit more tomboy than she was when she was 13. She wore blue jeans and sneakers along with a red and white long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up a little. Her hair was cut a bit shorter instead of being longer.

The twins were dressed less like each other. More than ever. Lola had worn her pageant dress up until she entered high school. Instead, she wore the colour pink a little less. She would wear pink shirts, pink hats, pink leggings, pink skirts and pink shoes, but not all together. It was a mix and match of pink and black. Her hair was long reaching down to her back and was either tied into as ponytail, bun or just let down. Lana on the other hand was still a little grease monkey. She always had dirt under her nails and enjoyed it that way. She wore overalls still and dirty sneakers around the house but going to school she had to wear more casual clothing like jeans and a normal shirt.

Lucy wore clothes like Lunas clothing style. Instead of wearing her normal black and white clothing she decided to go full black by the time she hit puberty. She wore a black skirt with chains and, knee high boots but black and a black shirt with some scripting on it and Jewlery around her neck and fingers.

Lisa was dressed pretty much like she was a professor. She still wore her glasses, brown pants and instead of a green sweater she wore a green blazer with a shirt underneath that was the same colour but darker.

Lilly finally started wearing clothes since she got older. Obviously since she can't be running around naked at her age. She wore blue jeans and flat shoes with a light purple t-shirt and even had a piercing given by Luna when Lilly was begging for one.

Everyone has grown up and has done more growing up since Lincoln left, which everyone missed as they looked at the empty chair.

"Alright!" Lynn Sr said as he emerged from the kitchen holding a casserole dish "Who's hungry!" he said as he placed the dish in the middle of the table, and everyone helped themselves to a portion of it.

"Looks great dad!" Lori said as she took a spoonful.

"Nice!" Lana said as she took some as well.

Everyone complimented the dish as they started to eat.

"Yeah. You know me" Lynn Sr said trying not to brag about his cooking skills.

"Is there anything new in England?" Lori asked.

Lynn got up and walked over to the tv which was turned to the news. On the tv screen you can see the cameras and helicopters zoomed in on the outside of the building. They all saw it in their own homes and have been watching it since.

"Nothing. Looks like things are still the same" Lynn said as she sat back down to eat dinner.

"Those poor people" Rita said "They better do something soon; it's been almost a week they've been in there"

"It's not like they can say 'hey, come out' and they'll go 'yeah okay' doesn't work like that honey" Lynn Sr said to his wife.

"I know that. They just don't deserve to be put in that position, being held as a hostage" Rita said.

"They'll do something mom, don't worry" Luna chimed in "I saw last night that the reporter in England said that the British army might be involved"

"She heard that from other reporters" Luan said "Besides, they aren't proving anything. If anything, they're just putting people in danger for the sake of it"

Luan has learned when to be funny and not to be funny, and being funny about terrorists wasn't going to be appropriate. Everyone started to talk amongst themselves at the table.

Luna saw Lilly was looking upset and just poking at her food instead of eating it.

"What's wrong Lills?" Luna asked her.

Lilly didn't say anything, still poking at her food with her fork. Luna nudged Lori who was sitting beside her. Lori looked at Luna who was still looking at Lilly, making Lori look at Lilly and seeing what was going on.

"Lilly? Do you not like your food?" Lori asked her.

Lilly looked up at Lori and Luna, she started to cry a little bit "I miss Lincoln"

Everyone stopped talking to each other.

"You guys mentioned army...that made me think of Lincoln" Lilly said as he wiped her tears away.

Luan who was sitting next to Lilly wrapped her arm around her "Don't worry Lilly. Lincolns okay, you'll see him in no time"

"He was meant to come home months ago but hasn't!" Lilly almost yelled as she pulled away from Luan "I want Lincoln home!" Lilly yelled as she left the table and ran up to her room.

Everyone stayed quiet then jumped once they hear Lilly slam her bedroom door closed.

"Should one of us talk to her?" Lola asked them.

No one spoke up.

"I can do it" Lori said as she stood up from the table, not waiting for anyone else to offer to go up.

Once Lori reached her room she knocked on the door. No answer.

"Lilly?" Lori asked as she opened the door and peaked her head in.

She wasn't in her room?

"Lilly?" Lori called out again.

"I'm in here" Lori heard Lillys voice, but not coming from the room.

"Where?" Lori asked her.

No reply.

Lori looked behind her and saw Lincolns old room was open a little bit. All the sisters have at least done this once since Lincoln had left. His room was left the way it was, for Lincoln to come home to. Lori walked in and saw Lilly sitting on Lincolns bed, holding bun bun. Lilly looked up at Lori.

"I'm sorry for leaving..." Lilly said.

"Hey, don't bother, they understand how you feel" Lori said as she sat down beside Lilly "You want to talk about it?" Lori asked her.

Straight away Lilly started talking "I don't get how Lincoln says he will be coming home, but then doesn't and we haven't heard from him for months!" Lilly said as she held bun bun tighter.

Lori listened to Lilly rant.

"I miss him so much...I miss my only brother" Lilly said as she curled up next to Lori. Lori put her arm around Lilly, patting her back gently.

"I miss him too Lilly...I miss our brother too"

"GUYS CHECK THIS OUT" Lana yelled from downstairs.

Lori and Lilly looked at each other in confusion. They got up from Lincolns bed and walked down the stairs and saw everyone gathered into the living room watching the tv.

"What's going on?" Lori asked them.

"Look!" Rita said as she pointed to the tv.

Back in England

Lincoln and his men had rappelled down the building and to the balcony. They unclipped their gear and took hold of their SMGs. A couple of Lincolns men jumped over one side of the balcony and proceeded to place a device on the window, then jump back over to the other side.

"Setting the charge!" One of them yelled as they took cover "3 2 1!" They yelled and detonated the device, blowing open the window. The explosion shook the area and caused the curtains inside to catch on fire. Smoke started to fill the room. Lincoln and his men then climbed over to the side they exploded and started to enter.

"We're entering, go for it!" Lincoln yelled into his radio.

"Copy that sarge" Adams replied.

Adams team moved in below the balcony and placed a flat charge device onto the door, same as the one Lincolns men placed. Lincoln stepped into the room first and aimed his gun, scanning the empty room filling up with smoke from the curtain.

"CLEAR" Lincoln yelled.

His men followed in, also aiming their guns. There were three doors, one on the left, one in the middle and one on the right in the office room they were in.

"I've got left!" Lincoln yelled as he moved to the left room "Give me two!" Lincoln yelled for.

Two of his men came behind him and tapped him on the shoulder twice. Lincoln kicked the door in and was immediately shown one of the terrorists and a civilian fighting for the gun they had.

"HEY!" Lincoln yelled.

The terrorist looked up from the man he was fighting and looked at Lincoln. He reached behind his back and pulled out a pistol to which Lincoln responded by shooting him in the chest.

*BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG*

Lincoln and his teammate fired their guns at the terrorist who was about to shoot them with his pistol. The civilian was coughing as he was in a room filled with smoke. Inside was a couple more civilians.

"We've got 3 male hostages and 1 female hostage!" Lincoln shouted to his radio.

"Copy that sarge. Ground floor is secured"

"Stay down on the ground!" Lincoln yelled out to them through his mask "Next rooms!" Lincoln said as they moved to the next room while the other men secured the room they busted into.

One of the other men were busting the door down. The one behind him tapped him on the back two times and attempted to kick the door in. The door didn't budge, only opening a crack.

They needed to gain entry quick. Lincoln remembered there was the other balcony over to that room.

The smoke had already filled the hall and the staircase. Lincoln looked to his right and saw the door leading next door to which he aimed his gun at the door. This time he kicked it without waiting for a pat. He was immediately tackled to the ground by one of the terrorists.

"Sarge!" one of Lincolns men yelled as they took aim.

"Stop you might hit him!" the other yelled.

Lincoln dropped his gun and reached for his sidearm. The terrorist grabbed Lincoln by the neck and proceeded to choke Lincoln. Lincoln grabbed his pistol and looked the man in the eyes before lifting the pistol to the man's chest.

*BANG BANG BANG*

Lincolns mask was sprayed with blood and his armour vest as well after shooting the man. His body weighed on Lincoln before Lincoln pushed the dead body off him.

"You alright sarge?" one of Lincolns men said as he gave him his hand. Lincoln accepted as he was brought to his feet.

Lincoln couldn't see from the blood on his mask and took it off. Lincoln started to cough from the smoke.

"Yeah *cough* I'm alright" Lincoln picked up his SMG and holstered his sidearm "Keep moving *cough*" Lincoln commanded as they continued to search the rooms. They searched the room Lincoln was attacked from and found more hostages.

"Next room" Lincoln commanded as his men searched the last room while Lincoln stayed in the hall. Lincoln didn't have time to process what happened, he had to stay alert.

He looked to the ground seeing the dead body. Lincoln shook his head and took aim down the hall. Lincoln moved down the hall to the room his men were about to search the last room. Lincoln patted his man on the back to which his man patted the one in front twice.

Lincolns man kicked the door in and moved in. They moved into the room with tables flipped over and hostages hidden in the corner. The three of them spread out.

One man popped up from the desk holding an assault rifle.

"GUN!" Lincoln yelled.

*BANG BANG BANG BANG*

One of his men shot the man making him fall to the ground. After that another two came up making both Lincolns men shoot them.

*BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG*

The hostages were screaming from the gunfire and seeing people getting killed.

Lincoln suddenly had a bad feeling someone was behind him. He turned and without thinking.

*BANG BANG BANG*

Lincoln fired his gun at one of the men standing behind the door holding a pistol, Lincoln kicked the gun away.

"CLEAR" one of Lincolns men shouted.

"Alright! Let's bring them out!" Lincoln commanded then reached for his radio "Hostages are coming down!" Lincoln announced.

"Copy sarge, send them down"

Lincoln and his men guided everyone through the smoke and down the stairs to where Adams and his men were waiting with the floor secured. They started sending the people down the stairs one by one.

"MOVE MOVE!" Lincolns men yelled for them to move and followed by more yelling from Adams squad on the floor below, leading them outside.

Sooner or later, all hostages were secured. Lincoln looked at his men as they all came out the rooms. He kept hold of his gun, not wanting to let his guard down just yet.

"Alright, let's get out of here men" Lincoln said as he wiped his sweaty face.

Lincoln and his team headed down the stairs. As they reached the bottom of the staircase there was a body on the ground tied up and shot in the head. That must've been the first hostage killed by the terrorists. Lincoln found Adams and Peters on the ground floor with their masks off talking to each other. Once they saw Lincoln they stopped and turned to face him.

"Well done there Loud. Looks like you and your team handled yourself" Adams said as he shook Lincolns hand and patted him on the back "Are you injured?" Adams quickly realised as he saw blood on Lincolns vest.

"Uh yeah. It's not my blood, its um-" Lincoln continued but was cut off.

"Aye, I know what you mean son" Adams said.

"Hostages secured, well done lads, ye did oor country proud" Everyone heard over their radios by sgt Connors.

"Thank you sarge, we're coming out now" Adams said over his radio back to their sarge.

"Masks on" Adams said as he placed his mask back on.

Lincoln realised he forgot to pick up his mask from upstairs "Shit I forgot mine" Lincoln muttered.

"Go get it, can't go out with all those cameras out there" Adams said as he left the building.

"I'll wait for you down here" Peters said as he patted Lincolns back as he headed up the stairs to get his mask.

Lincoln coughed a little as he walked into the smoke again. The firemen were putting the fire out. Lincoln held his SMG close to his left-hand side with the strap tightly wrapped over him. He found his respirator mask on the floor next to the dead body. Lincoln bent down and picked up his mask, wiping the blood off it.

Lincoln turned and was about to head back down with his mask, but something felt off. Lincoln looked around. He coughed a little from the smoke that was still in the middle of clearing up. He looked at the dead bodies there were on the floor. He counted the amounts that were dead. Five dead bodies.

Peters came running up the stairs "You alright there sarge? Did you find your mas-" Lincoln put his hand up in front of Peters.

"There's five bodies" Lincoln said as he motioned.

Peters didn't need to be told the rest. He knew what Lincoln was referring to.

"I've got this side" Lincoln said as he put his mask on and armed his gun as he walked slowly down the one side. Peters nodded and covered the other.

Both double checked the empty rooms in case someone missed something. Checking behind doors and under the desks and such. Nothing. Both Lincoln and Peters met back up in the hall, having not found the sixth gunmen.

"Nothing" Peters said as he shook his head.

Lincoln rattled his brain of where the last man was. He scratched the back of his head and gripped his gun tightly with his other hand. Unsure of where he was.

"The hostages" Peters said.

Lincoln felt his body freeze. The hostages. Lincoln ran down the stairs with Peters following. The two ran outside to find the hostages gathered up outside on their knees with their hands on their heads. Lincoln scanned everyone. All were a mix of white, Asian, Caucasian and black.

"Go get Adams!" Lincoln said to Peters who then nodded and ran off to tell Adams.

Lincoln kept looking around the hostages. He walked up to them and scanned everyone's faces. They were all scared and frightened by what had happened. Lincoln walked closer to them and kept his finger near the trigger of his SMG. He looked through the blood on the lenses of his mask. Everyone who saw Lincoln was even more scared. They just see this man with a mask on, covered in blood and holding a gun while looking at them. It wasn't until one person spotted Lincolns eye. A man who was shaky and nervous. The way his hand was placed behind his head, his fingers weren't placed directly on his head. They were almost hovering over the back of his head...like he had something in his hand.

Lincoln pointed to the man who was in the middle of the crowd of hostages "You! Show me your hands now!" Lincoln yelled.

The man-made eye contact with Lincoln, he shook his head now while looking even more nervous he was spotted.

Peters came back with Adams and a couple other men "Sarge? You found the-" Before Adams finished, he could already see what was happening.

In a split second, the man pulled his hand away to reveal a grenade. Lincoln let go of his gun at his side and immediately jumped forward and tackled the man to the ground.

"GRENADE!" Lincoln yelled out to everyone.

The hostages screamed and ran from Lincoln and the man. The rest of Lincoln and Adams men gathered them to safety. Adam, Peters and the rest surrounded aiming their weapons.

Lincoln grabbed hold of the man's arm, but the man punched Lincoln repeatedly in the ribs trying to free his other hand to pull the pin. Lincoln kept holding the man's arm tight, then threw a punch into the man's face. The man kept punching Lincoln then attempted to grab Lincolns gun, to which Lincoln kept punching the man in his face.

"DONT" Lincoln yelled again and pulled out his side arm while pinning the man's arm down with Lincolns foot and aimed his pistol directly into the man's neck "DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!"

The man stopped moving as he had a bloody nose while screaming in pain as Lincoln held his foot down hard on the man's hand. He then let go of the grenade. Peters came in and took the grenade. Lincoln stood up while aiming his pistol at the man while the rest aimed at him.

"THATS ENOUGH NO MORE!" Lincoln screamed at the top of his lungs at the man.

"Sergeant Loud! That's enough!" Adams yelled back at Lincoln.

Police officers came in and arrested the last terrorist. Lincoln holstered his gun and fell to his knees. Panting for air. Lincoln wanted to take his mask off, but he knew he couldn't because of the public. He kept strong.

"Let's go, we're done here" Adams said as he and Peters helped Lincoln to his feet and walked with him and the rest of the crew back inside of where they were set up.

3 hours later

It was now 21:00. 9pm Lincoln was now in the back of the van. He was sat with his men while Adams was in the other with his men. Lincoln was still holding his respirator, instead of keeping it in his bag. He had wiped off the blood, but as he looked at it, he could still see the blood in his head. Lincoln put the mask away and leaned against the wall.

Lincoln was dressed in normal clothes, same as the rest. He wore black jeans same as his men, a brown shirt from the army and a light brown camo jacket, something everyone in his squad was given with their last names sewn on.

"We're here"

The driver pulled up inside the airport hangar. Lincoln and his men grabbed their bags and climbed out the back of the van. Lincoln saw Adams and Peters who dropped off their gear at the table. Lincoln dropped off his bag with theirs as the gear didn't belong to them, it belonged to the SAS.

"Loud. A word" sgt Connors asked as he stepped off to one side. Lincoln joined with his hands behind his back expecting a scolding.

"Gid job spotting the last man. And I was telt you checked behind the door this time. Good on ye" Connors said "I'll be sure to pit in a gid word to yer commander. Look forward to working with you and yer squad" Connors said as he held out his hand for Lincoln to shake.

Lincoln shook Connors hand "Might have ti trade ye in, you'd make a great SAS member for my team" Connors joked.

Lincoln smiled "I'd be honoured to work with you and your men again sarge. Thank you" Lincoln thanked.

Connors smiled through his grey goatee "Don't forget, there's more training to be complete before you head back home" Connors reminded.

"Understood"

With that being done, Connors left to his quarters while Lincoln headed to his quarters with his men and Adams and his men. Everyone was cheering for their completed mission together, and for possibly more to come. Lincoln stayed silent a little as they headed back. Everyone headed inside, but Lincoln and peters stayed behind. Once they were in, Peters took out a half-filled box of cigarettes. He handed the box to Lincoln for him to take one out from.

"The first one after will calm you down enough, you won't need another" Peters said as he lit Lincolns cigarette.

This time once Lincoln inhaled it, he wasn't coughing or struggling to breath. He was able to breath it in without fail or struggle. Peters lit one for himself and they stood outside under a light outside in the base.

Lincoln keeps the cigarette held between his fingers. He exhales the smoke and feels the nicotine kick in a little. Lincoln looked at Peters. Peters looked back at Lincoln.

"Yeah?" Peters asked.

"Any chance we'll go on more missions?"

That will do it for now. I had a lot of fun writing this chapter, there were some drafts of this chapter and I landed on his one which is by far better.

For those who don't know, I took the terrorist attack on princess gate by the Iranian embassy in 1980 which was a real attack. It was the first attack where the SAS stepped in and was discovered. I thought about recreating it with some changes and a different ending.

If you guys want to submit a terror attack type of situation, I am willing to use and give credit of course. I have some already noted down.

The Scottish accent as well. I am myself Scottish so when you read Connors speaking with the accent, I shit you not that is how I message between my family. But not with my friends who aren't Scottish. I want to be clear with them lol.

But yeah, I hope you all enjoyed. And to someone who left a review asking if Lincoln falls in love with his sisters during this, they won't. I don't feel good or comfortable about writing about that, so it won't be included, just normal stuff. No sex between Lincoln and his sisters, sorry to those who want to see that for some reason?

Hope you all enjoyed, and I will see you in the next chapter!
