"Augh, that hurt. I knew reforming a body would take a long time, but what was with that last bit?"

Hades, lord of the Underworld has finally reformed after his last battle with Pit. He started to crack a few more joints, hoping to get some of the leftover stiffness out.

"There we go! That felt good!" He said, popping his back.

"2,000 years can leave you with a cringe in the neck." He said, pulling it off and spinning it around.

He popped it back on and heard another groan. He turns and sees Medusa, the Goddess of Darkness, and his unwilling pawn.

"Medusa?! This is a surprise. I know for a fact I didn't bring you back this time." He said, surprised.

The Goddess groans, soon waking up. She held her head, pushing herself off the floor.

"Augh, what happened?" She asks, getting up.

"It seems someone has brought us back, my dear," Hades smirked, making her turn to him.

"YOU!" Medusa shouted, ready to fight him.

"Easy my dear. I already knocked you out of existence once. Can for a repeat?" He told her.

Medusa growls, clearly not forgetting what happened last time. However, when she looked around, this place was different.

"Where am I?" Medusa asked.

"I haven't had the foggiest, but this place does seem familiar," Hades said, looking around.

"FREE ME!"

Both of them almost jump from the voice and Hades''s eyes widen.

"No...not here!" He said, knowing where they were.

"Here?" Medusa asked, confused.

"Typhoeus's prison!" Hades shouted, knowing this place well.

"Typhoeus? The monster that almost overthrew Zeus?" Medusa asked, having heard of the monster before she became a goddess herself.

"Yes. Someone that not even I would free. It's far too dangerous and can be trusted. But why are we deep in here?" Hades explain.

"FREE ME! FREE ME SO I CAN HAVE MY REVENGE!"

"Sorry, big guy, but even I wouldn't team up with the likes of you!" Hades said, knowing they needed to leave.

"I never thought I'd see the lord of the underworld scared," Medusa said, smirking.

"If you heard the story Medusa, then you know this is no joking matter," Hades told her.

Seeing his point, Medusa dropped her smirk. She could feel a lot of her power returning and she felt strong enough to at least teleport out.

"Don't try it, Medusa," Hades said, stopping her.

She looks at him, confused.

"This mountain had a special power blessed on it from Zeus. Should a god or goddess find themselves here, they can not use their god-like powers to leave. Here, we as mortals." Hades said.

"So, how do we get out?" She asked.

"Lucikly for you, Zeus had us check on old Typh's prison from time to time. I know the way out." Hades said, ignoring the roars.

"Fine. But doesn't make us allies!" Medusa said, having not forgotten what Hades did to her.

Hades only smirks. However, one thing made him greatly confused. Why were they in Typhoeus's prison in the first place? When the two left, two beings stepped out of the shadows, watching them leave.

"Fools. They played right into our trap!" One said.

"It's sad. The Lord of the Underworld has fallen from his grace." The other said.

It then turns to it's partner.

"Did you get it?" It asked.

"Oh, yes. The lord of the dead and the goddess of darkness power will feed our master greatly." The first smirked.

It turns and offers two energy balls. They soon float from its hand and shoot into the darkness. A crunching sound was soon heard and a roar followed after.

"MORE! FREE ME!"

"It's not enough. It looks as if we need to find the powers of the other gods." The second being said.

"And getting Zeus's power is not going to be easy." The First said.

The two beings smirk, both of them think of plans to get the remaining powers of the gods to free their master.

Skyworld,

Palutena was beyond worry. Her captain of the guard has disappeared. She picked up some strange power and sent Pit to see what it was. Then she lost contact with him and couldn't find him. Not even with her all-seeing-eye could locate him. She tried to stay calm, but each day caused her worry to grow.

"Pit... Where are you?" She said, worried.

"Lady Palutena!" An Angel said, flying inside.

"A message from Lord Zeus!" He said, handing her a scroll.

Surprised, and a bit hopeful, She took the scroll and thanked the angel. She opened it and read it. She was surprised to read that Lord Zeus was calling forth all the Gods and Goddesses to a meeting. Something that hasn't happened since she reported what Hades did 2,000 years old. He also stopped Viridi from wiping out the humans, stating her actions were not to be overlooked. Viridi tried to argue, but she stood little chance against the Lord of Olympus.

Palutena even told him about Pit's disappearance. He promises her that he'll look for him too, since that angel has done a lot for the gods and mortals. She summoned her staff and told the angels that she was leaving for a while.

She teleported to Mount Olympus, where she saw her fellow gods and goddesses.

"Pally!"

She turned and saw Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love walking up to her.

"Aphrodite, it's been a long time," Palutena said, nodding at her.

"I heard about Pit. I'm sorry to hear that he's missing." She said, knowing Palutena was still upset about it.

"Thank you." She said, sighing.

"I can't believe an angel like him would just disappear like that. I saw how loyal he is to you. I dare say he might even love you." Aphrodite said, surprising her.

"Pit...is a good friend, Aphrodite. He has done a lot in my name. Save me a few times, too." Palutena said.

Aphrodite nodded. She knew love when she saw it. It was kind of sad to see someone lose a loved one. Something she has seen many times.

"I'm sure you will find him." She said, making her smile.

"We all do," Athena said, stepping up.

"Athena? Are you alright?" Palutena asked, surprised to see her hurt.

"I'm fine. Both me and Ares were attacked. We don't know what happened, but when we awoke, we felt like a part of us was missing." She said, turning to her follow war god.

"I will crush the skulls of those who attack me. Sadly, I didn't see who it was." Ares said, trying to sound much like the god he was.

"And with your captain missing, I can't shake the feeling something is wrong," Athena said.

"For once, we are in agreement, sister," Ares said, surprising the other two goddesses.

It was rare for those two to agree with anything thing. Soon, Zeus appeared, and next to him were his wife, Hera, and brother, Poseidon. All the gods remain quiet as Zeus nods at Palutena.

"Brothers. Sisters. Sons. Daughters. Thank you for coming. I have heard of the reports of some of you being attacked and feel like you have lost a bit of your power. I was told that both Athena and Ares were the latest victims. Is there anything you two can remember?" He said before asking them.

"No, Father. They were quick and careful." Athena said.

"They seem to know where to strike. I might not plan my attacks, but I have seen enough of my sister to know when someone is planning for a fight." Ares said.

Zeus frowns. Someone or something was attacking the gods.

"We all need to stay on guard from now all. I strongly urge you all to keep your eyes open and listen for anything that could lead us to the attacker." Zeus said.

"Attackers, Father. I believe they're were two of them." Athena said.

Zeus nods, understanding her words. He was about to dismiss the gods went another voice spoke up.

"My, my, what a party. And you didn't think to invite me?"

Palutena gasps as she turns to see Hades.

"How are you still here?" She asked, ready for anything.

"Come now, Pretty Palutena. You didn't think I was going to stay dead did you?" Hades asked.

"Brothers." He said, looking at Zeus and Poseidon.

"Hades, you have a lot to answer for," Poseidon said, knowing it was his army that attacked his kingdom.

"In due time. I must say, I'm quite surprised to hear that someone that's attacking my family. And no one knows how they are? Sound like my kind of fun." Hades said.

Zeus notices Palutena standing ready, knowing how much trouble his brother has given her in the past.

"Hades, enough. What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Honestly? I felt like I should inform you that I, somehow, reform within Typhoeus's prison." Hades said, shocking many gods.

"Don't worry. It still intact." Hades quickly said.

Many took a breath of relief when they heard that. However, Palutna wasn't so quick to forgive Hades. She knew she couldn't make a move with others around and she didn't want to get on Zeus's bad side.

"Why were you there?" Hera asked.

"No idea. But it seems that old Typh is still alive." Hades said.

"Still?!" One of the gods asked.

Zeus wasn't surprised. He knew that monster wouldn't die easily. But to live this long?

"Hades, while I'm glad to hear that monster is still trapped, we have to speak to you about your actions. I didn't make you the lord of the underworld for you to play your silly games. It's time you learn the hard way about your actions. First, I want you to apologize to Palutena. And MEAN it." He said, making his brother sigh.

Hades turns to the Goddess of Light and bows to her.

"I'm sorry, Pre...I mean, Lady Palteuna." He said.

Palutena only nodded. She didn't accept it and knew Hades would go back to his old tricks.

"Oh! I almost forgot! I didn't come back alone." He said, looking behind her.

"Hello, Palutena."

She froze. It couldn't be. She turned around and saw Medusa. Her fellow goddess and the opposite of her light was alive?!

"How?! Last we saw, Hades wipe you away!" She asked.

"I have no idea. I woke up in the same place as Hades. I have no idea why I came here." Medusa said before she noticed someone was missing from her side.

"Where's your little pet, Palutena?" Medusa asked, making her look away.

"Now that you mention it, where is pitty-pat? I hardly see him without being by your side." Hades agreed.

"He's missing, brother. And I want both of you to be on the lookout for him." Zeus spoke up.

"Missing?" Hades asked, surprised.

"How did you lose your pet?" Medusa asked.

"Medusa, enough!" Athena said, stepping up to defend her sister.

"Athena." Medusa hissed.

Next to Palutena, Athena was the goddess she hated most. She almost laughs when Zeus chooses to name her goddess after serving in her temple for so many years. It was also believed that the two were twins in some form. Some humans thought it was Athena that cursed her and not Palutena. However, this wasn't the time for that.

"Enough. Medusa, I'll talk to you about your actions later. Everyone, head back to your homes and be ready for anything." Zeus said.

All the gods and goddesses nodded and started to leave. Palutena started to before Zeus stopped her.

"My daughter." He said, walking up to her.

"Father." She said, bowing.

"Are you okay?" Zeus asked, knowing she was worried about Pit.

"I'm doing what I can. It's so hard when I don't even know what happened to him." She said, sadly.

"Don't give up hope, Palutena. I know you will find him." Zeus said, hugging her.

She nods, glad that her father is helping.

"Speak of which, how's your mortal champion?" Zeus asked, knowing she picked one.

"Growing more challenging each day. My light could only do so much for him." She said, sighing.

"His parents still trying to unlock the realm of the dead?" Zeus asked.

"Yes. And his school has still not changed its ways. Father, I'm not sure how much more I can take. I know the boy is destined for more, but..." Palutena said, before looking down.

Between Pit missing and her Champion's life, she felt like she couldn't handle the stress anymore. Zeus frowns. It was tough as a God. He was known to travel down to earth a lot of times himself and interfere with mortals himself. Causing the birth of many demigods and heroes. While he got that under control, somewhat, he could tell that Palutena wanted to do much more.

"Palutena. Go to him." He said, shocking her.

"What?" She asked.

"Go to your champion, help him." He said, smiling.

Palutena was shocked but soon hugged her father. Zeus hugs back. She broke and soon ran off. Zeus sighs, knowing that this would help her greatly. He turns away, ready to speak with Hades about his actions. What he didn't know was that Medusa was still in the room and heard everything.

"Palutena has a champion?" She asked, surprised they were still doing that.

Medusa gave it some thought and decided to see for herself. Just who was this champion that Palutena named? She needs to see for herself.

And that's the start of my new Kid Iacrus and Danny Phantom crossover. Hades and Medusa have returned and it seems someone is trying to free Typhoeus by feeding it with some of the god's powers. It also appears that Pit is missing. Things are only worse in the realm of the gods, but Palutena has chosen a Champion. I'm sure you can guess from the hints at the end.

And the story is called Champions of the Gods. Meaning that Palutena isn't the only one that has chosen a champion. I'm only using about six characters. Palutena, Medusa, Viridi, Hades, Poseidon, and later, Zeus. And just to clear this up, Vlad will not be one of the Champions. Some will be the DP characters. Others might be OC characters.

Next chapter, we head to Amity Park and see how different the main hero's life is when he's visited by the goddess of light.
