Danny arrived at school, knowing he had to deal with Dash and Mr. Lancer again. For some reason, those two seem to have it out for him. He didn't know why. He grabs his things before heading towards class, Dash pushes him and slams the door, just as the bell rings.
"Great." Danny groans, knowing he was late, again!
He got up and dusted himself off, looking ready to face another detention.
"Are you alright?"
Danny turned and saw a young woman walking up to him. She was wearing a white shirt with a black shirt that fit around her hips. Black leggings, and wearing glasses. She also had black heel shoes. The most oddest thing was her hair. It was a lighter shade of green and reached just past her knees.
"Yeah, but now, I'm late," Danny said, shaking his head.
"Then allow me to help." She said, touching his shoulder.
"You can come in."
The young woman opened the door and stepped in with Danny.
"Mr. Fenton? What are you doing with our new teacher?" Mr. Lancer asked, glaring.
"Oh, he was pushed before entering class, and I was checking on him. After all, no one wants to report to a parent that their child was hurt, do they?" She said, making Mr. Lancer think.
"True," He said.
"And since he's with a teacher, he's not going to be in trouble, yes?" She said, sounding serious.
"No, have a seat, Mr. Fenton." Mr. Lancer said, throwing away the detention slip.
Danny saw her wink at him before letting him take his seat. She then walked up and had Mr. Lancer move.
"Greetings, everyone. My name is Palutena Skyworld. I hope we can get to know each other, well." She said, trying to sound like a normal teacher.
"Wow, she's pretty," Tucker said, amazed by her beauty.
"Thank you, Mr...Foley," Palutena said, after finding his name.
Tucker was surprised before he blushed. Sam just rolled her eyes, thinking that she was just another teacher under the A-Listers payroll. Palutena looked over the list and noticed that there was something wrong.
"Mr. Lancer, there's a name missing from this list." She said, making him look.
"Where? Everyone seems to be here." He said, making her roll her eyes.
"Mr. Lancer, if everyone is here, then why don't I see Daniel Fenton on this?" She asked, surprising Danny.
"What do you mean?" Mr. Lancer asked, confused.
Palutena shook her head. No wonder her champion was getting into so much trouble. They're outright acting like he never existed!
"Mr. Lancer, as a teacher, ALL students are important. Not just who you think is important." She said before reaching under her desk and pulling out a folder.
"Where..." Mr. Lancer said, sweating.
Palutena didn't wait, she opened it and dumped all the detention slips with Danny's name on them. From the amount, it looks as if would last throughout all four years of his school. Mr. Lancer wanted to try and play it off, but Palutena didn't let him speak.
"I didn't accept this job to favor a group over the others. I came to teach EVERYONE, that includes Mr. Fenton and others like him!" She said, throwing the slips away.
"Mr. Fenton, I will inform your parents about this later. For now, you are detention-free." She said, shocking everyone.
"Ms. Skyworld! May I have a word with you?" Mr. Lancer said, trying to act normal.
"Very well," Palutena said before looking at her class.
"Feel free to study or talk. But do not pick on other students, understand?" She said, aiming that last part at the A-Listers.
She followed Mr. Lancer out, her eyes looking at Danny. He looked so heartbroken and scared. well, Zeus gave her a mission and she was going to complete it.
Palutena sighed as she was brought to the teacher's room after Mr. Lancer called for a teacher meeting. He informs that the new teacher discovered the slips and was not going to act like she should.
"Do you really have that much low hope for Mr. Fenton?" She said, knowing the answer.
"Mr. Fenton could barely do anything." One teacher said.
"He barely passes math." Another said.
"His grades are not good." A third added.
"What's the point of teaching a waste of time?" A fourth said.
Palutena shook her head. However, she did know one thing.
"What about Miss. Fenton? From what I read, she's one of your top students that's not part of the A-Listers." She asked, already knowing the answer.
"She has a bright future." One teacher said.
"Her classes were top-notch," Another said.
"She has good smarts." A third said.
"And an excellent student. " A fourth said.
"So, you're ignoring the fact that they are siblings, and you're playing favorites, which could get you fired?" Palutena asked.
"Us? Fired?" A Teacher said,
"The only one that will be fired is you!" The Second said.
Palutena shook her head. She didn't think it would get this bad. As much as she liked to show her true self, Palutena was smarter than that.
"You won't fire me." She said, confusing them.
"I know the truth. If you fired me, I would tell everyone the truth about Casper High. And I will not stop until everyone knows." She said, surprising a few teachers.
"You will do no such thing," The Principal said, walking in.
"Oh?" Palutena asked, not scared at all.
"We run this school and things will go our way. You will follow the rules or we will destroy your life." She said, glaring.
Palutena sighed. From what she could tell, Hades didn't do this. She stood up and looked at the Principal in the eyes.
"No." She said, shocking her.
"I'm not going to be some puppet because you think that you have the right to decide how you can act towards your students. If this keeps up, sooner or later, you will be exposed. No matter how much you threaten me, or anyone else for that matter, it will come crashing down." She added.
Many teachers looked ready to try something, but the bell rang, stopping them.
"Well, it looks like classes have ended," Palutena said, walking past them.
"And I will not change my tune. Mr. Fenton is a person. He needs to be treated as such." She said, walking out.
She already knew they were going to try something against her, too bad for them they had no idea how to stop the Goddess of Light.
"So, that's the story?"
Medusa watches from afar, listening to everything. She might not care about the humans, but even this was too much for her.
"And you think threatening Palutena will change her mind? Foolish humans," She said before turning her vision to her new champion.
"Hmm, not quite like her pet, but different for sure." She said, looking at Danny Fenton.
Medusa could tell that even with Palutena's light, he had had some bad luck to him. She also notices another boy walking up and stuffs him into his locker. Medusa frowns, not him.
"Way too prideful. He'll fall too easily." She said, seeing two other people walk up and help the boy out.
"No, both of them are too attached," Medusa said, looking around some more.
However, she stopped at a girl with reddish-orange hair and aqua eyes. Medusa smiles.
"Yes, her." She said, listening in.
"WHAT?!" She shouted as other students told her what she found out in her last class.
"Yeah, they were all detention slips with your brother's name on them. It looked like there was enough to keep him in detention until his years were up." The girl said.
"Why?! Danny didn't do anything wrong!" The other girl said.
Medusa listened and quickly placed together the clues.
"So, this is the girl that's the sibling of Palutena's champion?" She said, smirking.
"Perfect."
And that ends this chapter. So, as you can see, it's not just the A-Listers that are giving Danny trouble, the teachers are acting like he never existed because of how bad he is at being a student. Palutena did like that and is going to do everything she can to help her Champion, no matter how much the teachers threaten her. And if you guys want a better idea of Palutena's teacher look, just type Palutena Teacher in the search bar. It will lead you to the mod of SSBU with Palutnea dressed like a teacher.
Medusa had also discovered about Danny, and even she couldn't help but feel sorry for him. However, she did find Jazz and chose her to be her Champion. This was due to my other Danny Phantom/Kind Irsuas story, Medusa's Daughter. Where Medusa adopted/kidnapped Jazz as her own child. There are more champions, but I'll hold off on them for now.
And, I think this chapter could have been way better. I think the beginning is fine, and the ending is okay. But that middle, I felt like I could have made the scene with Palutena and the other teachers might better. I'm open to anyone rewriting that scene for me. Just don't use the reviews, try sending them to me in the PMs. Or getting us set up with DocX. All I need is your Pen names and you have to use mine. Once we do that, everything will be set.
