CHAPTER 42

One by one the students left, until at the last minute Robert handed in his exam papers. Everyone remained there with their beloved children, waiting for the result of the exam. After the exams had been marked, all the students passed. Their dedication to their studies and their efforts had paid off, resulting in a group of talented and determined students who had achieved academic success. They were all ready to face the challenges ahead with confidence and determination.

Elizabeth arrived at the door on the last step of the stairs, her teacher's face closed, her hands on her waist, everyone looked at her and Nathan saw Robert running his hands through his hair in a sign of discouragement..., but he looked at his wife again and saw that mischievous glint in her eyes, which he heard saying:

- I'm sorry to inform you relatives that... tomorrow we will have a small graduation at this location at ten o'clock in the morning. I'm very proud of the four of you, you passed with wonderful marks. Congratulations to you all.

The following morning, the four students, dressed in their best clothes, gathered at the school in front of an audience full of family and friends. The atmosphere was full of emotion and soft music filled the air.

Elizabeth stood at the front and began the graduation ceremony by recalling the four young people's years of dedication. Then each of them was called forward to receive their diploma. With proud smiles on their faces, they walked with determination, accepting their diplomas from the hands of their best teacher.

The audience applauded warmly, while tears of joy and gratitude streamed down the faces of many present. The graduating boys hugged each other and took a photo with their teacher, taking advantage of Dr. Carson's gift of graduation photos. It was a moment of pure happiness and fulfillment. It was a testament to the students' hard work, dedication and friendship.

Robert took the floor and gave his graduation speech...

- Dear colleagues, teacher, family and friends, it's an honor to be here representing you all. On behalf of all my colleagues, we would like to express our immense gratitude to our teacher Elizabeth Grant...

He looked at the teacher with a sincere smile and tears in his eyes:

- Throughout our journey, she not only taught us subjects, but also taught us the importance of perseverance, ethics and compassion. She inspired us to follow the right path, to never give up in the face of obstacles and to be responsible citizens.

He turned to the teacher, and the other three students did the same.

- Mrs. Elizabeth Thorton Grant, your lessons go beyond the curriculum. They have shaped our values and our worldviews. On behalf of all of us graduates, I would like to express our deepest gratitude and we promise to carry on the principles and values that you have taught us.

At this point Robert and the other three graduates together took a solemn oath:

"We swear to follow the right path, just as Mrs. Elizabeth Grant taught us, dedicating ourselves to continuous learning, the search for truth, compassion for others and service to society. We will honor the education we have received, knowing that we bear the responsibility to make a difference in the world. "

The audience applauded enthusiastically. Nathan's chest was heaving, his eyes watering, a pride and love for his wife and the children shining on his face. Willian Thatcher was proud and had goose bumps at such a declaration to his daughter. Bill was overjoyed as a father would be, he had never imagined being as proud of someone as he was of Elizabeth, and he could see that she had shaped the character of these young people to be good people like her.

Elizabeth hugged her students, she couldn't hold back the tears of emotion. It was a moment of deep connection between master and disciples, full of hope for a better future.

A thought crossed Elizabeth's mind, and she smiled as she looked at her husband...

"My heart overflows with pride when I see the brilliance of these boys. They are destined for great achievements..."
