Authors notes: I'M BACK JACK! Hi guys sorry for the long delay I've just had a full on few weeks what with job hunting and everything else thats been going on in my life. Its left me little time to work on my stories, but I will continue my stories no matter what. I do appreciate everyones patience during this time. I will update my other stories when I can or get a new system in place.

But for now lets continue with Voltron Frozen Defender 2. Where a certain comet is about to become a big problem, its the canon episode of Season 3 with some minor changes and outcomes.

:Tailing a Comet:

Things were beginning to look up for the Defenders of the Universe, for they had found the second key to the location of a powerful artefact known as the Shattered Eye. A relic used by the Druul to destroy planets until their defeat at the hands of the Galra many years ago. However, now the mysterious Snow Queen Ingrid, now revealed to be Elsa and Anna's aunt has come in search of this relic, with the help of Prince Lotor and his generals.

Three keys are to be found, two have been uncovered, and now the Paladins,Elsa, Coran, Olaf and Sven have been reunited with two old friends. Kristof who had been found on a planetoid after being sent there by the same mysterious circumstances as the Ice Queen, and after an epic battle with the Galra, the team had been reunited with another old friend, the lost Black Paladin, Takashi Shirogane also known as Shiro.

Deep Space:

Far away in a deep quadrant of space lies a single Galra outpost. Manning the outpost were a number of Galra Sentry robots in large numbers guarding what looked like a large energy core. Little did they know that they were no longer alone. For high above on one of the support structures Lance the Red Paladin watched with his Bayard Blaster looking more like a snipers rifle aiming it at the sentries.

He scoped out the enemy before reporting to his team."Alright team I've got my eye on the targets, I'll cover you from up…" Suddenly his report was interrupted when he caught sight of Kieth charging in with his shield and Bayard sword at the sentry as it fired at him. "Hey Kieth! I had that guy !"

Kieth didn't answer as he slashed at the incoming sentry slicing its chest armour and arms. The other Sentries opened fire on the Black Paladin as he bounced off the wall and jammed his sword into the robots back. However, he was unaware of the Sniper up top, luckily Lance fired his rifle firing a blast right into the robots chest and it collapsed to the ground.

His scope eye turned to Hunk armed with his Bayard Cannon who was taking fire from incoming sentries. "They're still coming!" He cried.

Lance looked and noticed the open door and an entire platoon of robot sentries approaching. Acting swiftly Lance targeted the main control terminal near the door and blasted it the door sealed shut trapping one sentry under it before it could enter. Hunk looked up to his saviour with a thumbs up.

"Ha ha!" Hunk cheered.

Lance's gaze looked to see Pidge heading for the control console only to find herself surrounded by several Sentries. She was ready to draw her weapon when suddenly a lone Ion grenade rolled to the ground and right when it reached the middle sentries feet it exploded sending out a pulse shorting out the rest. Soon charging into the fray was Kristof riding atop Sven with his oxygen collar. Kristof swung his arm and sliced at the sentry in the chest with a hatchet. While Sven rammed them away with his antlers.

"Nice entrance Kristof but I thought you were taking it easy?" Pidge asked.

"Well when your friends are Space Paladins you learn a few things." Kristof exclaimed. "Plus when your fighting for your life on a rock monster infested world this is taking it easy."

Sven snorted in agreement. "Hey who was the one who helped Kieth and Allura save Elsa from the Snow Queen's ice monster?!" Sven said (Kristof imitating him.)

"I know I know Sven." Kristof said to his friend, just then another sentry was about to attack. Suddenly a large spike of Ice rammed straight into its chest. They looked and saw Elsa and Allura standing back to back. Surrounded by five sentry robots.

Allura extended her Bayard chain and swung it round a sentries neck, another opened frie on the Princess only for Elsa to extend her hand and erect a shield of ice in front of Allura allowing her to swing the captured sentry into the one that opened fire.

Other sentries moved to attack but Elsa formed a staff of ice in her hand twirled it and swung it at the incoming enemies smashing right into their legs tripping them up. Allura flipped over Elsa and deflected incoming fire with her Bayard chain then sliced it across the sentry's waist splitting it in half.

One sentry readied to fire until the Ice Queen thrusted her free right hand forwards freezing the robot in place by its feet while Allura sliced down its body with her chain right down the middle as the two halves fell to the ground. The two women stood side by side with determination and smiled grateful they had each others backs.

Kristof, Sven and Pidge were completely stunned, they had never seen Elsa fight that well before. Not surprising as after the events of securing the second key to the Shattered Eye, Allura and Kieth have been training the Ice Queen to further discover more of her powers in the event they ran into a certain aunt of hers again.

"Whoa." Kristof breathed.

"Yeah they make one heck of a team." Pidge said impressed as she ran to the main core.

"Yeah they do!" Lance called from his vantage point having seen the whole thing.

The Paladins, Kirstof, Sven and Elsa gathered round at the main power core as Kieth and Allura had their gauntlet shields up to deflect the blasts of the incoming sentries. Hunk quickly fired rapid blasts from his energy cannon blasting one sentry to the ground.

"Elsa we need to buy Pidge more time!" Kieth called to her.

"On it!" Elsa exclaimed as she clapped her hands together and summoned a blizzard around her before unleashing it as a massive shockwave which froze a majority of the robots in place. However more soon arrived firing on the Paladins.

"Pidge could you maybe hurry it up a little!" Hunk said to the Green Paladin who was busy hacking the terminal behind them which lead to the main power reactor.

"Yeah these guys aren't going to wait till your done!" Kristof cried.

Pidge made several key strokes on her holo gauntlet hacking the terminal. "Almost…." Just then the screen in front of her flashed red and the symbol on it split in half. "There!" She exclaimed.

Within seconds the power reactor lost all power and shut down, which sent the whole base into total darkness. The base wasn't the only thing that lost power, one by one the Galra Sentries fell to the ground completely deactivated.

The Paladins deactivated their shields as Lance hovered down via his jet pack to join his comrades. Kristof cautiously kicked one Sentry with his foot and saw nothing happened.

"They're all down." Kristof said in relief.

"Great job Pidge." Kieth said to his teammate.

"Thats the last outpost in this quadrant." Pidge reported, given how they had been deactivating Galra outposts to reclaim territory for the still forming Coalition.

"Contact the Blade of Marmora let them know this base is clear." Kieth then said to her. "And Pidge download all the data from the data core we need to know if there are other outposts in any quadrants."

"On it chief." Pidge said as she headed off to find the computer core. Kieth then turned to Elsa, Kristof and Sven.

"You guys did good today, but you sure you didn't want to stay on the ship?" Kieth then asked.

"I'm sure Kieth, its like I said before I'm done hiding I want to be able to help my family." Elsa said assuringly to which Kieth gave a warm smile in response.

"Yeah besides I've spent too long being cooped up in one place." Kristof agreed.

"O…kay, who are you and what have you done to Kirstof the guy who's always so cautious especially with Anna." Lance cracked but The Ice Master just sighed and looked a little sad. Lance hoped his attempt at humour wasn't meant as an insult.

"Hey..I I'm sorry man I didn't mean…" Lance tried.

"No no it's alright, I just…I just hope Anna's okay its been weeks and we still haven't found her." Kristof said a little down.

"Don't worry, we'll find her. I know we will." Elsa then said with a comforting hand on his shoulder as Sven rubbed his head at his friends shoulder in support. Allura couldn't help but smile warmly at her friends who she now considered her extended family. This also taught her never to give up hope in their darkest times.

Castle of Lions:

Hours later the Castle of Lions was flying through a purple nebular in the vastness of space. In the Green Lions hanger which also doubled as Pidges lab, she and Hunk now in casual attire were looking over the two Altean Key devices that would lead them to the Shattered Eye. However in recovering the second key it had yet to yield the coordinates to the third key.

Hunk closely took a scan of the key with Pidges scanner while the latter looked at the incoming data on her laptop. But dispite the deep scan. "Nothing, there's nothing here that tells us how to activate it." Pidge said a little disappointed.

"I just don't get it, I mean the first key activated by Allura's touch because she's Altean right? So why didn't this one?" Hunk questioned also. "I mean could it have been damaged in the lava on that planet?"

"Don't think so Allura said these things survived deep space travel from Altea, and when we brought it on board it was completely and perfectly preserved not even a scratch." Pidge said. "But Coran said we use each key to find the next."

"Did I hear someone call my name." The two jumped in fright as they looked to see said advisor and Kristof standing behind them.

"Oh Coran Kristof hey." Hunk greeted them.

"So any progress with the keys?" Coran asked.

"No nothing, Coran I thought you said the keys would lead us to the eye?" Pidge asked remembering his story while they were on Olkarion.

"Yes number five but I also said we needed to use each key to find the next." Coran explained correcting her statement.

"Okay but why didn't the key show us the coordinates?" Hunk asked.

"Well maybe this thing is locked or something?" Kristof wondered looking at said keys.

"Maybe but I know we're missing something but what?" Pidge wondered. "And even so we're still no closer to learning why the Snow Queens after the Eye or where Anna might be." She then said getting a little stressed as she pulled her hair.

"Hey cool it Pidge, we just gotta take this one step at a time maybe something will come up when we least expect it?" Kristof said in comfort calming her down. "Speaking of finding lost friends. How's Shiro holding up?" He then asked.

"Well he finished his cycle in the healing chamber but after what he'd been through to get here, he's gonna need some rest." Coran explained.

Just then a beep sounded from Pidge's laptop, she hurried over to it and saw what was on the display. She gasped in shock and joy, Hunk, Kristof and Coran noticed this too.

"What is it Pidge you found something out about the key?" Kristof asked.

"No, but something else that just showed up unexpectedly." Pidge said happily.

Meanwhile:

In the Castle of Lions living barracks, a recently returned Shiro was in his room resting. He'd managed to escape from a Galra ship he'd awoken in, then ended up on a planet where he met a couple of resistance fighters which helped him locate Voltron at Thaserix, only to lose track of him when they left some days before they found Elsa. For the remaining seven weeks he'd been traveling in a Galra fighter to try and pick up his comrades trail until eventually close to death they found him. He'd just finished explaining his story. At the same time Kieth who was in the room with him had explained all he'd missed including finding Elsa in the ice tomb, their encounter with Ingrid, the trans reality comet, Ingrid's connection to Elsa and Anna as their aunt and of course of the Paladins of olds history in visiting Arendelle of the past and of the Shattered Eye.

This was a lot for Shiro to take in. "So…let me get this straight while I was gone; you found Elsa who had ended up here frozen in ice, she and Anna have an aunt who has the same powers, the original Paladins had been to Arendelle before, and now you've all been on a hunt for keys that could lead to a relic that makes people turn against each other." He finished as he looked to his former right hand.

"Yeah its been a crazy few weeks man." Kieth explained. "But then again thats the life we lead." That did help crack a smile on the former Black Paladins face. "But Shiro, what happened to you?"

Shiro took a minute to think before he answered. "I..I don't know, the last thing I remember was Zarkon trying to overtake the Black Lion." He said sighing. "It told me to use my Bayard…then just nothing. I woke up and I was back on a Galra ship."

Kieth wasn't sure what to make of all this, but in truth none of the Paladins knew what transpired after the defeat of the Zarkon Robeast. "Well, you'd just unlock the Black Lions ability to teleport. Could it of teleported you? Maybe it was trying to save you?"

Shiro wasn't sure, why would his lion teleport him away to save him only to wind up in the hands of the enemy? "By teleporting me into the hands of the Galra?" He then questioned.

"Maybe Zarkon forced it to?" Kieth wondered. "I mean he was trying to control the Black Lion up until the very last moment right?"

"Yeah maybe." Shiro wondered as that was the best explanation right now.

"Well… if your feeling up to it, the rest of the team would be thrilled to see you up and around again." Kieth then said understanding. "They need you, you know….she needs you." He then said referring to a certain queen on board who was more happy to see Shiro back most of all.

The former Black Paladin knew he was right, despite the circumstances that lead to his disappearance, the team and Kieth still needed him. "Yeah…I'll try."

Just then the door opened the two looked and saw that Elsa was standing in the door way. She looked at Shiro who still looked a little rough but she still needed to see him. Shiro gave a warm smile which she returned with loving eyes.

"H..hey." Shiro breathed with a warm smile.

"Hey…ah I hope this isn't the wrong time for visiting." Elsa asked rather nervously.

Kieth just sighed and closed his eyes shaking his head. "No it's okay." He said as he headed over to the door. "Besides I think having you here is the best comfort I can provide at the moment." He said to her knowingly. "I'll just be on the bridge."

He said as Elsa entered the room, but just before he left. "Hey Kieth." Shiro called out to him as he turned back to see his brother smiling.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"How many times are you gonna have to save me before this is over?" Shiro asked.

Kieth returned the warm smile in return. "As many times as it takes." He answered as he left the room. Leaving Shiro and Elsa completely alone.

She sat down on the edge of Shiro's bed. "So how're you feeling?" Elsa then asked.

"Great, just trying to get rid of this headache." Shiro said feeling his head as it ached a little.

Elsa looked down in thought for a moment. "You know this kinda reminds me how we first met. You were a stranger lying in the snow and then we found you and brought you to Arendelle."

Shiro cracked a small chuckle as he leaned forwards a little. "Yeah but at least this time there were no wolves involved." Elsa did laugh a little at that joke.

"Yeah." She said but then looked with some worry in her eyes. "Shiro, wha…what happened to you if you were lost in that fighter why didn't you try to contact us?" She asked. "I I honestly thought you were…."She looked like she was about to cry until Shiro put his prosthetic hand on hers.

"Hey hey its okay. I was lost in space and I was out of communication range, I guess I was just fortunate that Kieth and the Black Lion were in the right place at the right time." Shiro explained. "But I guess I should be the one saying sorry."

"Sorry, about what?" Elsa asked.

"For being gone all that time, for not coming back sooner, and with whats happened with you, Anna and this Ingrid I…." Shiro tried but then it was Elsa's turn to comfort him.

"Shiro." he looked at her face which had some tears present. "You have nothing to apologise for, I'm just glad your here now. After all thats happened, and when I thought I'd lost everything, it wasn't just Kieth, Allura, Pidge, Hunk, Olaf, Sven or Coran that kept me going. What kept me going the most…was you." She said which earned a surprise look on Shiro's face. "The hope that I would find Anna, and see your face one more time, even before what happened in Arendelle or me being here. I don't know if I told you this but, you inspired me to step up and protect those I love, it was you who helped show me to embrace who I am."

Shiro honestly didn't know what to say. "Well, no offence Elsa but your giving me way too much credit, from what I heard Kieth was the one who helped you in that cave when you were confronted by Lotor and your aunt."

"Yeah he did, it was a little rough at first but, I realised he was just like me scared of the future or if its defined for us." Elsa explained. "In a way he's been like a big brother to me. And I can see where he gets it from."

"Yeah thats true." Shiro said. "But while I can see where me and the others helped, from what Kieth's told me you overcame your fears on your own, saving him, Allura, Hunk, Pidge, Lance and even me when Zarkon invaded Arendelle. You did all of that, Kieth's not the only one who's come far you have too."

Now Elsa was the one who was completely speechless at the same time as her hand was on Shiro's she felt her heat racing she just didn't know why. "Well I guess being around all of you has given me more confidence."

Shiro smiled warmly seeing this new found confidence in his friend. Outside Kieth was listening. This would be considered a violation of privacy but regardless he smiled at how happy the Ice Queen looked seeing Shiro again, and he was happy for his brother as well. He walked away to the bridge in case Elsa came out.

Just then back in the room Elsa and Shiro realised how long they were holding hands for. They pulled away blushing.

"Ahem yes well I'll let you get straightened up." Elsa said as she got up and headed for the door. She turned back to him for a moment. "Oh and Shiro."

Shiro perked to attention. "Do something with your hair will you." She said with a teasing smirk. To which Shiro just shook his head silently chuckling. They took one last look at each other before Elsa left the room. When she was gone Shiro felt a strange sensation in his chest, he wasn't certain but he knew what it was a similar sensation he once felt on Earth long ago. Happiness.

The Bridge:

On the bridge of the Castle of Lions, each of the Paladins were overlooking their stations. Kieth was tapping several keys on the holoscreen of his station, while Kristof was speaking with Hunk and Sven over at his station as Elsa stood with Allura, Coran, Olaf and Lance while Pidge was typing away at her station.

Just then the doors to the bridge opened and they looked to see Shiro up and about now sporting a new look. He sported his normal black boots, black pants, a sleeveless jacket with a wider collar with white on the collar and shoulders. Underneath he sported a dark gray short sleeved shirt and black fingerless gloves. His hair was also different it was cut short, but the white on his hair was much smaller and his black hair was more thicker than shaved away.

His friends and extended family were all smiling with happiness to Shiro fit and well. "Great job out there everyone, you've really turned the tide in this war." He said to everyone. "I'm glad you never lost sight of the mission while I was gone."

"You're looking better." Lance said hopefully. "How're you feeling."

"Good, it feels good to be back." Shiro said happily.

"Well its good to see your up and about." Kirstof said coming over as the two shared a handshake. "The way you looked before was like you'd been through the wolves again."

"True but from what Hunk and Pidge have told me Kristof you look like you just went through hell and back." Shiro chuckled looking at the state of Kristof's clothes not surprising given what he went through on the planetoid.

"Yeah thats true." Kristof agreed. Just then Sven trotted up and snuggled his head into Shiro's arm (his prosthetic.)

The latter just chuckled in response. "Heh heh hey Sven good to see you too buddy." He said stroking his head. He then felt something was hugging his legs and he looked down to see Olaf who was smiling with joy.

"I missed you Shiro." Olaf said kneeled down and gave Olaf a hug too.

"Hah heh I missed you too Olaf." Shiro chuckled. Elsa then came over as she saw Olaf was clinging to him for a good long while.

"Okay okay, Olaf I think Shiro's glad to see you too." She said as Olaf waddled away. It was then she noticed Shiro's change of hairstyle. "By the way like the new haircut it looks much better."

"What you don't think I can rock the survivor look?" Shiro said with a teasing eyebrow to which Elsa giggled while blushing.

Shiro then looked to the rest of his friends. "But it looks like you've all been through a lot between Lotor not to mention with this Snow Queen."

"Tell me about it." Hunk said. "I mean Zarkon having a son was one thing, but Elsa and Anna having an aunt who's hell bent on finding this gem that makes people hate each other. It's been more than crazy."

"More like chaotic." Allura agreed.

"Well speaking of Lotor I think I may've found something." Pidge then spoke up from her station, and so everyone gathered around. The Green Paladin then brought up some intel on her holo screen. "So I downloaded intel from the Galra base we just defeated. I untied the quantum folded encryption and I've found something on Lotor." She explained.

"Do you know where he is?" Kieth immediately asked hoping they'd be able to find him and Ingrid.

"And what about Anna?" Elsa then asked with Kristof's attention peaked.

"Well not exactly no, and no nothing on Anna I'm afraid." Pidge said much to Elsa's disappointment which Allura placed a consoling hand on her shoulder."But the last three sightings of his command ship have been in the Vakar Quadrant." Pidge then said.

"Nice work Pidge." Shiro then said. "Although those quadrants are massive. How will we pinpoint his location?"

"That I don't know." Pidge said. Which made everyone wonder how they could locate him, but just then Elsa remembered something.

"Hold on, guys Lotor stole that comet that Voltron was made from when we got sent to that mirror reality right?" She said. "Couldn't that somehow help us?"

"Mirror reality?" Kristof asked.

"Oh yeah you weren't with us pal you see.." Lance was about to explain but then.

"Oh oh it's okay Lance I got this." Olaf then said stepping up. "Now we were flying through space when suddenly we heard loud noises WA WA WA WA!" he imitated the sound of alarm sirens. "Then surprise it came from an Altean ship! There are more Altean's alive Allura is so happy!" Olaf pranced around imitating Allura much to the latter's embarrassment. "We find the ship stuck in a large golden light and Allura's like 'there are Altean's in there and we must save them no matter what!' but Kieth is all like. "No Allura this could be a trap!" Olaf said in a deep tough voice trying to sound like Kieth.

"Hah that actually sounds a lot like you!" Hunk laughed while Kieth just gave a glare that said 'shut up!'

"But we all go in and FORM VOLTRON!" Olaf proclaimed moving his body parts to look like the lions formed Voltron. "We fly through the light and on the other side, its all quiet. We floated into the ship it was quite and spooky ooooahhhh!" Olaf had Flurry and the Space Mice hold the small snowman up like he was floating while he makes ghostly sounds.

"Whoa." Shiro said surprised and was strangely able to follow along with the Kristof looked confused.

"Then BAM we're attacked by these guys in black but then 'gasp!' one of them was Shiro, only he was called Sven, and Anna who had fire powers!" Olaf cried as the mice used an orange towel to make it look like Olaf was using fire powers.

"WHAT!" Shiro exclaimed surprised.

"Come again?!" Kristof also said greatly stunned by all this.

"But wait there's more surprises we learn we're in an alternate dimension! Then suddenly Altean's arrive, and we learn the comet was the same one that made Voltron!" Olaf explained looking at one of his stone buttons to show they were studying the rock. "But all is not what it seems, Hira one of the Alteans talks of peace but all we hear is talk of slaves! Allura likes the idea of peace. "Thats wonderful finally we can live in peace and I can be with my people again." But Elsa and Kieth are all like. "No Allura it's a trick don't listen to her!"

Allura just looked away in embarrassment and a little shame, and Elsa just rubs the back of her head too a little embarrassed.

"Does this story have an end yet?" Keith then whispered to Pidge who simply shrugged.

"You were a fool Allura we're going to conquer the universe!' The Alteans there were evil, we fought our way out and with Voltrons help we got the comet away." Olaf explained as he carried his rock button. "But then bam! As we escape Lotor arrives and steals the comet from us, so yeah we lost it." Olaf then said as the mice swooped in and swiped the rock to show his point. "So any questions?" Olaf then asked.

He looked and saw everyone present had a complete look of surprise, shock and awe. Kristof and Shiro more than the others. "Seriously how the hell does he remember all that?" Lance questioned still not believing the small snowman remembered all that happened to a tee. Hunk just shrugged.

"I think they got it." Olaf said smiling as the mice put his stone button back on.

"Wow, that does sound crazy." Kristof said. "Almost sorry I asked."

"Okay all that aside, I think Elsa might be onto something, the comet is the same thing Voltron is made from." Hunk then said. "So maybe I can scan the emissions spectrum for Fraunhofer lines. Like when we found the Blue Lion on Earth."

"Fraun who lines?" Elsa asked very confused still not understanding this science stuff.

"Oh well its a number describing the emission spectrum of an element, but given the comets ore didn't originate on Earth so thats what lead me to build a giga counter that lead us to the Blue Lion." Hunk explained.

"Oh so it's like a trail?" Olaf asked.

"Yeah something like that little guy." Hunk answered the little snowman.

"But Hunk, you know those emissions are subject to free induction decay. Those are exponential drop offs." Pidge then added to Hunks statement.

"Yeah but if you could find a way to amplify the sensors…." Hunk suddenly realised the error in his logic. "..N..no there'd be way too much interference. What if instead we increase the SA magnitude."

Pidge then had an idea of how to execute what Hunk is proposing. "The spires of the castle!"

"Genius!" Hunk exclaimed as he and Pidge rushed away to the lab to set to work.

"Yeah let's find the comet!" Olaf cheered as he waddled off after them. Leaving a completely dumbfounded Lance, Kristof, Elsa and Sven.

"I have no idea what they just said." Kristof said bewildered.

"Welcome to our world Ice Master." Lance consoled.

"So what do we do in the meantime?" Elsa asked.

"Lets set a course for the Vakar quadrant while they get started on the detector." Shiro then suggested. "We'll have to work fast. Who knows what Lotor has planned for that comet."

"Yeah, but there's also the threat of Ingrid we need to consider, wherever Lotor is she won't be far behind." Kieth then voiced. "Which means she may see this as an opportunity to try and steal the keys we have."

"Kieth is right, she was able to trap me on that abandoned base, not to mention find us on Olkarion and the planet where we found the second key." Elsa said still reeling from those events.

"Not to mention she made an Ice titan that could go toe to toe with Voltron." Coran added.

"Then we'll have to be very careful, from what you've told me she's more cunning than Lotor in planning her next move and plays her hand well." Shiro agreed.

"Yeah about that, if she is so cunning why the lame tactics?" Lance questioned.

"What do you mean Lance?" Allura questioned.

"Come on she was exposed to the Eye and has more stronger powers than Elsa, so couldn't she like freeze all of us to statues on the spot then totally crush us?" Lance explained slamming his fist into his hand to show his point. "Instead she goes head to head with Elsa why?"

"Lance does have a point I mean I get the whole aunt and niece thing not to mention try to brainwash her like she tried to be for we ended up here." Kristof agreed.

This did raise valid points among the team, for while they knew of Ingrids past and her intentions to find the Shattered Eye, using Lotor to do so. However she still had the obsession to take away Elsa, and they have yet to uncover Ingrid's endgame.

"We'll just have to work it out as we go, for the moment locating that comet takes top priority at least until we can locate the third key." Kieth then said to which Shiro nodded in agreement.

Later: Kieths Room:

Kieth was in his room waiting for action. He hung his jacket on the wall but just then he heard a knock on the door. "Yeah?" Kieth called.

The door opened to show Lance was standing outside he looked a little troubled judging by the look on his face. He entered the room and faced the new Black Paladin.

"Hey man." He greeted as the door shut. "I just wanted to talk with you because…well because I've been worrying about something."

Kieth crossed his arms a little surprised and smirking. "Must really be bothering you if your coming to talk to me?"

"Well I mean you are the leader now right?" Lance asked, but Kieth wasn't sure how to answer that as he was unsure.

"I guess." Kieth answered unsure.

"I've been doing some math. With Shiro back that makes six Paladins, but there are only five Lions and if I'm right thats one Paladin too many." Lance explained.

Kieth was rather impressed that Lance for once had done some genuine thinking on this. "Solid math." He shrugged.

Outside Kristof was heading down to the kitchen to get a snack when he over heard the voices of both Paladins.

"Listen when Shiro takes over the Black Lion your going to want your Red Lion back, if I get a Lion that means I'd have to take Blue from Allura." Lance explained. "But she's progressed a lot faster than any of us did, she might even be able to unlock powers in Voltron that we don't even know of yet."

"Thats true." Kieth had to agree, in the course of Allura's training as a Paladin she has taken to her bond with the Blue lion a lot quicker than the others had with their lions. So to have that would be beneficial in learning more and more of Voltrons hidden abilities.

However what Lance said next Kieth really didn't expect. "So, maybe the best thing I can do for the team is to step aside."

"What?" The two then looked and saw Kristof standing in the doorway.

"Kristof?" Kieth said surprised. "How long were you standing there?"

"Long enough." Kristof said. "Lance why would you ever think about standing aside, you're a part of this team?" He questioned.

"Kristof this isn't a participation game this is war and we need our best soldiers on the front lines." Lance explained. "Kieth is a good right hand to Shiro and a better second in command, I'm just a hot rod daredevil who's still learning to handle Red."

"Lance your not giving yourself enough credit." Kieth then said. "Think back to Thaserix, you helped me to stop think when we were lost and separated in the gas clouds and you're the teams sharp shooter, Shiro and Pidge wouldn't have made it out of that Galra prison with Slav without your help."

Lance was most taken aback, he'd never heard Kieth talk about him like this before, let alone point out his skills, this wasn't a rival taunting another. This was genuine recognition.

"He's right Lance, I know for a fact your one of the best soldiers no matter who's flying which lion I mean when Kieth was injured you lead the team against that ambush." Kristof agreed. "So don't ever second guess yourself, its like me and Anna, I didn't think I could be enough for her but when the chips were down I knew when she needed me thats when I knew how important she was and thats what keeps me going."

Lance did crack a small smile at what the Ice Master had just told him. "The point is Lance stop worrying about who flies what, and just focus on your missions. Things will work themselves out." Kieth then agreed.

Despite getting all of this off his chest, Lance was still unsure. "Okay, thanks." Lance said as he and Kristof left the room. Before the Red Paladin did though.

"And Lance." Kieth called getting his attention. "Leave the math to Pidge." He then said with that Lance cracked a small assured smile as he left and the door shut behind him. However Kieth was now unsure, he realised Lance did raise a point and deep down he knew his right hand had potential more than he realised, while he on the other hand still had some conflict. Namely as he looked upon a certain Marmora blade. He wondered what he should do.

The Training Room:

Meanwhile in the training room Allura was with Elsa. The Ice queen sat in a meditative pose and her eyes closed. She was relaxed and calm.

"Okay Elsa, concentrate, just let yourself go feel the energy inside you." Allura instructed. Since their last encounter with the Snow Queen, Elsa remembered some things of her aunts advice about her powers, so to be ready Allura agreed to try and help her master her ice powers.

The Ice Queen concentrated and focused on the magical energy or Quintessence inside of her. She could feel herself growing stronger just then a flurry of ice emerged around her like a small breeze and forming in them were small chunks of ice spinning round her like asteroids round a planet. The Altean princess was amazed, she could see her mastery on her powers was growing.

However in that moment she was beginning to tense up a little. She was seeing a bad memory it was flashes of her Anna and Kristof facing Ingrid but then her being restrained in ice and Ingrid slowly approaching.

Allura could see something was wrong as the ice floating around her was becoming spikes of ice she needed to do something before anything happened. "Elsa! Elsa!" Allura raced over to her and tried to snap her out of the trance and could hear her breathing like she was having a panic attack. "Elsa!" Allura yelled putting her hands on the side of Elsa's head and suddenly her eyes shot open and the ice turned to snow on the ground.

The Ice Queen was breathing heavily as Allura held her in her arms. "Its okay its okay I'm here your safe."

"I…I'm sorry Allura I…I don't know what happened?" Elsa breathed calming down.

"Its okay, what happened?" Allura asked.

"I saw, Anna..she me and Kristof were face to face with Ingrid then after that she was about to do something to me, after that…nothing." Elsa tried to explain. Allura took a minute to think on what was told to her. "I…I don't know what it means."

It was then the Altean Princess had a thought. "Elsa I think that maybe what your describing are memories. Overtime I think whatever events landed you here in our universe is trying to resurface. Perhaps they were mistaken as something else."

Elsa then remembered something. "Well…lately. I've been having these dreams whenever I sleep but they don't feel like dreams or nightmares they feel real."

This took Allura's interest almost immediately. "What happens in these dreams?"

"Well I saw what Ingrid taught me on my powers, and I remembered how she told me and Anna she was our aunt, but it's all just in pieces." Elsa explained. "But it all started after our first meeting with her."

"Well maybe you should take the time to think on these dreams I believe they could be the key to solving how you ended up her or at best how to find Anna." Allura suggested.

"You think so?" Elsa asked.

"I know it will, and don't worry we will find her, even if we have to deal with Lotor or whatever comes next to do it. Just remember we're all here for you." Allura told her and Elsa responded by pulling her into a hug which she was more than happy to accept.

"Thanks….sis." Elsa said and Allura was very taken aback to hear her friend call her sister, she smiled warmly as she embraced Elsa in the hug that sisters would share.

Castle Bridge:

Meanwhile Hunk was hard at work, he had a panel open in Coran's station to hook up the detector to scan for the comets signature. He was humming happily to himself as he looked in the small hole in the console. While Olaf sat and watched.

"Thanks for hooking me into the system." Hunk said as inside the space mice were hooking up wires into the power crystals. While Flurry helped to balance the larger mouse who was hooking up a wire. "I would never've been able to reach back there."

The mice and Flurry then waddled out of the control console and stood before Hunk looking a little dirty. "Sorry, I know you got all dirty and I owe you guys a little mouse and snowman shower kay, I'm gonna get to work on that right after we find Lotor and Ingrid." Hunk said to them.

Flurry beamed with a smile and then burst out in some snowflakes rubbing off all his dirt. The snow fell on the mice and when they popped out, they were nice and clean thanks to the melting snow. They shook off the wetness and gave a small hug to the tiny snowman.

"Aw thanks Flurry who's a good little snowdrop." Hunk cooed the little one who beamed a smile.

"Great job guys!" Olaf beamed.

"Hey can we fire this up and see if it works?" Pidge called from her station.

"Oh oh can I do it?" Olaf asked excitedly.

"Okay go for it little guy." Hunk agreed. So he picked Olaf up so that he could reach the control console. "Just press that button there." He instructed.

Olaf then pressed the small circle on the holo console, and it activated a larger circle. He poked it to activate the sensor, but all it did was beep, to everyones confusion it didn't work so he pressed it again and again several times like it could be heard all over the castle. Strangle though Olaf was enjoying it.

"Wow! It's so musical." Olaf chirped.

"Yeah but it's not sending out the pulse we need." Hunk said a little confused as he put Olaf down on the ground "Hmm maybe we didn't adjust the polarity correctly?" He wondered. Then out of nowhere he slammed the console hard on the button with his fist.

This time the device worked and a large energy pulse was sent out from the centre spire of the Castle. Then seconds later the detector picked up a signal and much to Hunks alarming look in his eye it was moving.

"Hey it worked!" Olaf chipped happily, "and it's moving!"

"Oh boy your right!" Hunk exclaimed as he opened the coms channel. "Uh guys guys we found the comet! But it's boogying away from us. Coran, Allura, uh can someone Altean come move this castle?" He called.

"Well done we're on our way!" Allura called on the coms. Moments later everyone was assembled on the bridge and the castle blasted off into deep space following the trail left by the comet.

Hours later:

On the bridge Hunk was still tracking the comets signal from his station, as the castle flew through space. All the other Paladins were at their respective stations, Shiro stood beside Kieth at his former station while Elsa sat in Lance's former station with Olaf, while Kristof and Sven stood next to Hunks station.

"Okay we're gaining on it." Hunk relayed to the team.

"Make sure we stay far back enough to be undetected." Shiro advised Allura to which she nodded.

The castle flew through space until it arrived at the Ulympus system which the trail was leading them to. Pidge looked at her holoscreens to ascertain their location.

"Looks like the signals stoped in the Ulympus system." Pidge noticed.

"Does that mean we're close?" Elsa asked.

"We'll soon know, activating long range scanners." Pidge activated the Castle of Lions long range scanners which soon picked up the presence of a small planetoid and within it was a Galra outpost, when the scanners honed in on the comet signal it seemed to zoom in on a Galra cruiser much to everyones surprise as it wasn't Lotor's command ship.

"Thats not Lotor's ship!" Kieth said surprised as he stood up, Shiro and the others were equally surprised.

"But I don't get it we saw Lotor take the comet, when we escaped from that mirror reality." Elsa said genuinely confused.

"Could this be a diversion?" Kristof asked.

"I don't think so, the detector indicates the comet is in there." Hunk analysed looking at the readings. "Maybe the Galra are shipping it to the outpost under Lotor's orders."

Kieth soon stood up from his station as he was about to address the team. "Okay heres the plan everyone…"

"We need to get that comet…." Shiro then said and the two looked at each other as it would seem they forgot who was in command.

"Oh I'm sorry, go ahead Shiro." Kieth apologised letting him speak.

"We need to get that comet, they must be transporting it into that base. It'll be venerable during the transfer thats the best time to strike." Shiro explained the plan.

What happened next however none of them could've foreseen, for as the cruiser approached out of nowhere it started firing upon the base. The blasts completely destroyed the cargo area as smoke came pouring out.

On the bridge the Paladins, Ice Queen, Snowman, Ice Master and Reindeer were taken completely aback, they just didn't understand why would the Galra attack their own base. "Who the heck are these guys?!" Lance exclaimed in surprise.

"Wait why are they attacking their own base?" Olaf asked. "Don't the Galra like it?"

"I don't know." Shiro said surprised. "But I don't think they're moving the comet into that base."

"Hold on you guys said that there were other rebels fighting back against the Galra right?" Kristof asked. "Could these guys be rebel fighters?"

"Unclear, but we need more information we can't afford to jump into a fire fight if we can help it." Shiro said.

"Your right." Kieth said putting a hand on Shiro's shoulder. "You take the Black Lion, I'll stay with Coran in the Castle and provide support."

Shiro was quite taken aback by what Kieth suggested, even though he was now the Black Lion's Paladin he was suggesting Shiro took back his position. Elsa was quite surprised as well she knew he made good progress as team leader. Lance was also surprised he couldn't help but wonder if this was about what they talked about earlier.

"Kieth you sure?" Shiro asked in surprise.

"I'm sure, besides if Lotor is here with Ingrid, with the rest of the team trying to secure the comet would provide her the opportunity to try and get the keys." Kieth explained. "Since I'm a skilled fighter I can fend her off if she tries."

"Not without help." Kristof then said stepping up. "Me and Sven will stay too for back up." Sven nodded snorting in agreement.

"Okay if your sure." Shiro then agreed.

"Elsa go with them and provide back up, but be cautious there's more going on than we know." Keith then said to which Elsa nodded.

Moments later the Red, Green, Blue and Yellow Lions flew from their respective hangers in the castle spires. However their alpha was nowhere to be seen. Because it stood motionless in its hanger.

Shiro now in his Black Paladin armour tried to move the control sticks, but there was no response. "Whats wrong?" Shiro asked his lion.

"Shiro, where are you we need you right now!" Lance called on the coms.

Elsa was greatly surprised she knew that Shiro had a deep connection with the Black Lion, so to see it not respond to him was most surprising. "Shiro whats wrong?" Elsa asked in concern.

"I…I don't know?" He breathed rather shocked. So he closed his eyes and concentrated trying to reconnect to the lion. Tightening his grip on the control sticks despite his focusing there was no response. In the end he had come to a decision.

"Kieth, I'm gonna need you to lead this mission." Shiro finally said on the coms.

"Wha, what what is it? Whats wrong?" Kieth called on the coms.

"The Black Lion isn't responding to Shiro, we don't know why." Elsa called on the coms, which put a genuinely surprised look on Kieth's and Coran's face as he stood on the bridge.

"I think your it's true Paladin now." Shiro then voiced, Keith was greatly surprised he knew Shiro had a connection to is lion but why he can't connect with it now is a mystery perhaps his time away weakened his connection. With no time to lose there was only one choice.

"I'm coming down." Keith decided as he headed to the hanger from the bridge.

Galra Base:

Within the Galra base alarms were going off all over the complex, and on a security monitor cameras were going out one by one. One monitor even picked up several figures entering the base before it too went out.

Suddenly came a frustrated growl and slamming fist. It was from Commander Throk who had been assigned to this outpost by Lotor. Which according to other Galra commanders was the worst post in the empire.

"Grrr!" He growled as he readied a large looking laser rifle. "This maybe worst post in the Galra Empire! But ITS MY POST VICTORY OR DEATH!" He yelled.

Meanwhile:

Far above the planet, the Lions of Voltron descended from the sky and landed a distance away from the outpost to avoid detection. Upon landing the Speeders deployed from the lions, Elsa was with Kieth in the Black Speeder which he made space for her in the back.

The speeders raced through the caverns of the planet towards the outpost and kept a tight formation in the event of an ambush. A small alien salamander crawled up on a rock and was spooked by the Speeders engines as they raced by.

Shiro then called in on the coms informing the Paladins of their mission. "The most important thing is to get eyes on that comet. Second is to figure out who we're dealing with."

"Understood Shiro, we'll contact you once we're on board the ship."Kieth called back.

"And Elsa, take care and be careful if we are dealing with this Snow Queen we can't take chances." Shiro then called in.

"Don't worry Shiro I can look after myself." Elsa then assured him.

"Believe me she can." Kieth chuckled.

"I have no doubt." Shiro smiled. "Just take care." The Speeders raced down the caverns of the planet that lead straight to the base, in the hopes of recovering the comet.

Galra Base:

Loud crashing noises were coming from the main doors of the base and standing ready for combat was a whole platoon of Galra Sentry robots lead by Commander Throk. He glared at that door as the booming sounds were getting louder and louder.

The tension in the air it could be cut with a blade, suddenly the blast sounds grew quiet, then finally. *BANG!* The door was blasted open startling the commander, and out of nowhere throwing stars flew from the smoke and struck down the two sentries close to Throk which took him completely by surprise.

There was more to come for flying out of the smoke was Ezor, one of Lotor's generals. Throk glared in anger as he blasted where she landed only for her to bounce away. However she wasn't alone for punching through the other sentries was Zethrid. It was now clear to Throk what was going on.

"YOU!" He fired his blaster at the bulk half Galran general but she swiftly moved out of the way. "Lotor! Sent you!" He yelled as he loaded his blaster and fired shot after shot. "To finish off! What he started!"

Meanwhile at the Galra Cruiser:

While Throk was occupied by the battle inside, the Paladins and Elsa had infiltrated the ship. Their speeders were parked a few metres away from the ship.

"Shiro, we've just boarded the ship there's no crew in sight moving forward with the search." Kieth relayed on the coms.

The control panel at the door shorted out and opened to reveal that Lance had shot the lock with his Bayard Blaster. He signalled Kieth and the rest of the team to move forwards. Kieth, Lance, Pidge and Elsa stepped forwards with their weapons and powers at the ready in case they come across patrolling guards.

So far however there was no sign of a crew. They were soon followed by Allura who was armed with her Bayard, then Hunk who had his detector to track the signal coming from the comets ore.

"Hunk whats the tracker say?" Elsa asked. Hunk pointed his detector at the split corridors in front of them and as he pointed it to the corridor on the right the detector beeped quicker and louder, then the needle was going crazy this was indicating they were getting close.

"This way." Hunk pointed to the right hand corridor and his fellow Paladins followed at a cautious pace in case of a surprise attack.

Galra Base:

Back in the base an outraged Throk continues to open fire on the intruders to his base. The sentries concentrated their fire on Zethrid and Ezor who were hiding behind a crate. Just then Axca leaped into the air and fired at the sentries with one of her blasters very accurately destroying them with three shots each. Throk saw his forces crumble one by one.

Axca landed behind one of the crates close to Zethrid who was dying for some action. "Let me finish him off!" She called to Axca.

"No! You know the plan!" Axca called to her comrade as they ducked from more of the enraged commanders laser blasts.

"MY LIFE DOESN'T MATTER, ALL THAT MATTERS IS THE EMPIRE!" He yelled, little did he know danger hung from above. In the form of Narti who hung from the ceiling about to descend on her prey. She leaped down behind him.

Throk kept blasting, when suddenly he felt his will leave his body and his eyes glowed bright purple almost as if he was in some kind of a trance. Standing behind him was Narti with her cat Kova still on her shoulder Narti growled and it was like voices could be heard in Throk's entranced mind. Narti now had an influence on his mind.

Throk under Narti's control went up to a control console, and activated the holo keyboard. "Deactivating security." He said in a hypnotised tone. The platform they were on seemed to be overlooking something rather large looking in the base.

All over the base the sentries had deactivated one by one collapsing to the ground as security was deactivated all over the base.

Meanwhile on the Galra cruiser the Paladins continued their search throughout the ship, following Hunk's detector to find the ships cargo. Allura, and Pidge had their shield gauntlets activated at the ready. While Lance and Kieth were armed with their Bayard weapons and Elsa had her hands out ready with her powers.

It was then they noticed how quiet it was. "Kieth… It's gone quiet." Elsa realised sensing how quiet it was, the new Black Paladin knew she was right as he could sense it too.

"Sounds like the fight next door is over. Let's hurry." Kieth said to his comrades and headed deeper into the ship.

Throk still under Narti's influence who kept her hand on the Galra commanders back, was typing in certain keys and codes into the terminal. "Retracting roof." He said. Narti raised her hand and closed her fist freeing Throk from her control and he collapsed to the ground.

The terminal flashed and the roof above their heads split open from the middle, and outside the base it was revealed to be a very large curved object with blue in the centre.

From the Castle of Lions Kristof noticed the roof was opening. "Guys somethings happening." He said getting Shiro and Corans attention. Olaf waddled up and saw the strange object.

"Hey whats that?" Olaf asked.

Shiro took a look at the holo monitor and upon examining it, he looked in horror for this looked very familiar. "It can't be." He thought. "Coran, give us a closer look at that."

Coran zoomed the scanner in on the object in the base and took a scan. He compared it to tech in the Castles data banks. Much to Coran and Shiro's horror it was a match to a certain device they used long ago.

"Is that?" Shiro gasped in horror, as he remembered what it was, the very machine that ensured the success of the Paladins mission in the defeat of Zarkon, long before his disappearance. A machine capable of sending a ship halfway across the galaxy.

Coran gasped in horror. "The Teledove!" He exclaimed.

"Teledove?" Kristof said confused but then remembered where he'd heard it before. "Wait is that what powers the wormholes that allow you guys to travel across the galaxy?"

"And it's a part of the very machine we used to defeat Zarkon, but how did the Galra get one of the lenses!" Shiro exclaimed in horror.

"Why would they want it, and why is it in the base where that magic comet is?" Olaf asked.

"I…I don't know little friend just what in the name of King Grogery the Infirm is going on?!" Coran questioned.

"Shiro we need to warn the others!" Kristof said.

"I know, Coran contact the team." Shiro said with great urgency.

Elsewhere:

Meanwhile in a far off part of the universe concealed from the Castles scanning range lay Lotor's command ship. On board Lotor and Ingrid surveyed the generals progress.

"Everything is going according to plan." Lotor smirked.

"Lotor just what pray tell is in this outpost you simply couldn't acquire with your authority?" Ingrid questioned. "And why do we waste time here when we have to find the artefact I seek."

Lotor looked at the Snow Queen indignantly. "Because I have agendas outside of your petty feud with the Paladins and your niece. For what we are about to acquire will be the key to a new age for the empire and the universe itself."

"But why must we wait, the Castle is venerable without the Paladins to defend it this is the opportunity to claim the artefacts that could lead me to what I seek!" Ingrid argued.

Lotor was beginning to tire of the Snow Queen, for he had been dwelling on what Elsa had told him and Haggar's warning for a while now. Yet his so called new ally has yet to reveal her plans.

"We shall acquire what you seek but only when I see fit." Lotor told her.

"But Lotor..!" Snow Queen questioned.

"Conflicting agendas will only result in chaos and need I remind you Ingrid." The minute Lotor said that the Snow Queen froze just how did he knew her name. "as long as you are on my ship you will respect my judgement and my orders. Is that understood?"

Ingrid wanted to rebel against this, however she knew for her plans to succeed she needed the support of the Galra Prince. And so she simply took a breath and breathed out in frustration. "I understand Lotor." She simply said and walked away off the bridge.

The Galra Prince was left alone, he knew that his so called ally wasn't telling him the truth of her intentions. Yet the words of the Ice Queen and Haggar still lingered in his mind.

"If you truly meant what you said about wanting peace in the universe don't trust her." Elsa's voice echoed in his mind.

"Be weary of your ally, the power she seeks is something long forgotten and could jeopardise the empire." Haggar's voice echoed.

Unbeknownst to Lotor the Snow Queen was in the hanger bay of the ship which was open below, luckily however she was wearing one of Axca's spare helmets. She twirled her hands with her ice magic and focused it into what looked like a spiked snowflake.

"Go to the Altean Castle and claim what is mine." She whispered to the snowflake and with a flick of her hand the snowflake flew from the ship and headed towards the position where the Castle of Lions was stationed.

Meanwhile:

Back in the Galra Cruiser, the Paladins and Elsa had soon arrived in the hanger area of the ship. As the doors slowly opened they followed Hunk into a corridor surrounded by large crate objects. The needle in the detector was moving crazy. "The comet should be in here." Hunk said.

"Uh guys." Elsa said getting everyones attention and they looked to see what she'd found.

Soon however they came face to face with a rather large looking ship, it had two pincer like spires joined to a centre area, the armour was grey, with dark blue and orange mixed in the same colour scheme of Lotor's command ship. The cockpit was a back to back seating arrangement for two pilots.

"Whoa what kind of ship is that?" Lance asked.

"I don't know." Allura wondered as she'd never seen a ship like this before.

"Hunk where's the comet?" Kieth asked. The Yellow Paladin looked at his detector and it seemed to be going crazy.

"Its here like right here." Hunk explained.

"Where in that ship?" Lance asked. However when Hunk looked at his detector there was no sign of the comet but it was going crazy as he approached the strange looking ship.

"No…I think the ship is the comet." Hunk said. Everyone was taken completely aback Allura more than most, to see the comet had already been used to create this ship.

"No it can't be he's already built a ship from the comets ore?!" Allura exclaimed in shock.

"I guess Lotor was busy while we were locating the keys and fighting Ingrid." Elsa realised. "But just what does he hope to achieve if he's breaking into his own base?"

"I don't know but this is bad if they have that it means Lotor's succeeded where Zarkon failed." Kieth realised. "The Galra now have a weapon as powerful as Voltron."

"Oh this is bad!" Lance breathed in shock.

"More like horrible." Pidge realised as well.

"Guys come in!" Shiro called on the coms. To which Pidge then answered as her holo screen appeared with a communication from the Castle of Lions.

Castle of Lions:

Pidge appeared on the castle of lions holoscreen. "There's a piece of the Teledove inside the Galra base." Shiro said.

Lance then poked into the screen in shock. "The one we used to wormhole Zarkon ship?!" He exclaimed.

"But how?" Hunk asked. "I thought it was destroyed after we used it to warp Zarkon ship?"

"Hold on…." Kieth then said as something had just come to mind. "So that explains it!"

"What?" Pidge asked.

"Hunk rememeber when we went inside the Weblum to get the Skultrite?" Kieth asked Hunk.

"Yeah?" Hunk asked. "Like I could forget that."

"Well we found a Galra soldier trapped on a ship inside, before we left he took some skultrite from us." Kieth explained. "I just didn't know why they needed it, I guess now we know, the Galra must've scanned the Teledove when we used it and copied the design."

"Hold on you guys said the Teledove uses Altean energy to generate the wormholes you use to travel right?" Elsa asked. "So why would the Galra need a Teledove I understand the advantage to use as a weapon to transport Galra ships and weapons but what good would it be to them?"

"Your right Elsa, they would never be able to operate it without an Altean…" Suddenly Allura gasped she remembered something that Elsa mentioned from the battle in Arendelle and from her battle with Haggar on the Komar while the Paladins fought Zarkon's Robeast.

"Zarkons witch!" She exclaimed.

Elsa then realised it too. "She's an Altean, could she use the Teledove to make wormholes too?!"

"Okay is anyone else seriously freaking out right now?!" Hunk said a little panicked.

"Yep put me down for one freak out." Lance agreed.

"Okay our mission just got a lot more complicated, but maybe we can take advantage." Kieth realised. "If Lotor is nearby we can take him down and end this for good."

Castle of Lions:

"Negative Kieth, you cannot let Lotor get away with that ship you need to get back to your lions. You need Voltron."

"Why take out one ship, when we can stop all of this by taking out Lotor himself!" Kieth questioned. "We can't let him keep outsmarting us and without him Ingrid has no way of finding the eye or the keys."

"Thats exactly why we can't let Lotor get that ship, if he does he'll have a weapon that can match Voltron, this is too important." Shiro disagreed.

Galra Base:

"Kieth I want to stop Lotor as badly as you but Shiro has a point." Allura agreed with Shiro.

Kieth wasn't sure what to think, he knew that stopping Lotor would stop all of this, but at the same time if the Galra get the comet ship they could have a weapon that would rival the Defender of the Universe. He began to think and remembered the choice he made back on Crydor and both outcomes.

"Kieth, I know you want to stop Lotor but even if we stop him Ingrid could take over his plan. And if you think about it whats to stop Lotor from building more than one ship?" Elsa said to him. "But your the leader it's your choice to make."

Kieth was silent for a moment but then he came to a decision. "Shiro do we have any other options could we divide and conquer?"

"No Kieth you need to stick together." Shiro advised on the coms.

The new Black Paladin took a break then looked to his team he could see by the look in their eyes that they agreed with Shiro. "Okay lets get back to the Lions we can't let Lotor get this ship." He said and with that the team headed out he looked to Elsa who nodded in support and he gave a small smile.

They moved to leave the hanger when suddenly the door opened and on the other side they saw Lotor's generals who glared with hate at the Paladins. While the Paladins and Elsa looked in complete shock and surprise to see them here.

"Oh quisnak!" Elsa gasped.

"Oh no not these guys again!" Hunk exclaimed.

"The Paladins!" Zethrid exclaimed. Ezor then noticed the presence of the Ice Queen as well.

"Oh look if it isn't the long lost Ice Queen." Ezor smirked. "Looks like we get to settle the score after all."

"Too bad you didn't bring that snow runt I was looking forward to squashing him like a bug but I'll settle with you first!" Zethrid took a giant bound into the air and was about to crush Allura on her landing the latter quickly ducked out of the way as Zethrid crashed down.

Nati leaped out of the smoke prompting Pidge to fire her Bayard grappling hook only for Narti to dodge it and trip the Green Paladin up with her tail, before she ran forward and tried to strike Hunk only for him to duck out of the way.

Lance quickly fires blasts from his Bayard Blaster but the shots miss Narti who leaps out of the way. Axca leaps over the shots and fires her blaster at Lance who blocks the shots with his gauntlet shield. The impact however caused him to lose balance and hit the ground.

Luckily help was at hand, Kieth quickly thrusted his sword at Axca who thrusted her laser blaster to block his blade strike. The two locked eyes, and it was then Kieth had a realisation looking at the Galra generals attire he remembered where he'd seen it before. He had a flashback to his mission in the Weblum where he encountered her, fought alongside her and helped her escape the beast.

"You!" He gasped. The two broke away and he slashed his sword at Axca which she blocked with her duel laser blasters the two soon locked in close combat and clashed weapons.

"So this is what you were using the Skultrite for!? Where's Lotor and the Snow Queen what are his plans!?" He exclaimed.

"If I were you Paladin I would be more concerned about staying alive!" She exclaimed as she tried to blast him only for Kieth to duck out of the way and deflect a blast from her blaster.

"You have a funny way of thanking the guy who saved your life!" Kieth exclaimed as he deflected another blast. "And there's no way your getting away with that ship!" He lunged at the half Galra general as they clashed weapons again only for Ezor to leap in and throw some stars at Kieth who dodged out of the way.

Elsa meanwhile was firing ice blasts at Narti who dodged the blasts with such velocity she leaped up and tripped the Ice Queen up with her tail knocking her to the ground. The Ice Queen quickly rolled away to avoid a strike from her tail only for the Galra general to wrap her tail around her neck and restrained her to the ground. She reached her hand to try and take control of her mind. Suddenly Elsa quickly stomped the ground beneath her and a large ice spike erupted from the ground and caught the generals hood. Lifting her into the air.

"I've done the whole mind control thing, not a huge fan of that!" Elsa glared at her then ran to help her friends. Narti quickly broke free.

Ezor fired another throwing star at Kieth only for it to be blasted away by a laser blast Kieth looked and saw that blast was compliments of Lance. "I got ya buddy!" Lance called to which Kieth gave a grateful smile.

Axca quickly runs past Kieth who then dodges an attack from Ezor, he swung his sword at the agile half Galran general who swerved and dodged his attacks, then blocked the blade with the lower arm part of her armour. She grabbed his arm then twisted her body around him and flipped him to the ground with her flexibility.

She bore a rather sadistic smile, as she tried to break Kieth's arm to make him let go of the sword. The new Black Paladin then flexed his free arm and out of nowhere the Bayard sword disappeared and reappeared in his free hand. Ezor was taken aback she really didn't see this coming she quickly flipped away before he slashed at her with his sword.

Ezor was about to strike back until something caught her wrist it was a rope made of ice. She looked as Elsa swooped in and swung her away then fired an ice blast at Ezor only for her to leap up and over the ice queen, but just as she was about to land Elsa acted quickly and placed her hand on the ground spreading a sheet of ice on the ground. As Ezor landed she slipped and lost her footing, leaving her venerable to a shield strike from Kieth's gauntlet shield which sent her flying into a crate.

"Nice move." Kieth complimented the Ice Queen.

"I learned from the best, and I don't just mean Shiro." Elsa smiled to which Kieth smiled back in return.

Hunk formed his Bayard Cannon and fired his blasts at Narti who swiftly dodged the shots the used her tail to strike Hunk and knock him to the ground. She tried to strike Pidge with her tail but the Green Paladin formed her gauntlet shield to block her tail strike. However the half Galran general the struck Pidge's feet with her tail tripping her up.

Luckily Hunk saw an opening and grabbed the silent Galra general from behind restraining her. However he forgot about her lethal tail which grabbed the Yellow Paladin by the neck and lifted him up.

"ACK Pidge a little help!" Hunk exclaimed as he was choking from the generals grip.

Pidge quickly got up with her Bayard and tried to slash at Narti with her grapple hook only for her to dodge her strike. While she was still suspending Hunk in the air.

"Pidge drop!" Called a voice and Pidge quickly dropped to the ground as Elsa skated on the ice and then formed a spear of ice twirled it to knock Narti backwards and used the spear to grab Hunks lost Bayard then grabbed it in her hand then fired an ice blast from her free hand restraining the general to the wall. This forced Narti to release her grip on Hunk who held his throat coughing to catch his breath.

"Whew!" Hunk breathed.

"Hunk you okay?" Pidge asked in concern.

"Yeah I'm good, thanks Elsa." Hunk thanked looking at his saviour.

"Your welcome Hunk, oh and I believe you dropped this." She handed his Bayard back to him.

Allura was engaging in combat with Zethrid as she swung her Bayard chain at the brute who dodged all her attack while holding a large looking blaster. Just as she was about to fire, an ice blast froze the top of the blaster blocking its top. Elsa swooped in and formed an ice sword shaped a little like Kieth's Bayard slashing at Zethrid only for her to block her sword strike then smashed the blade with her free arm.

Elsa gasped in shock to see her ice sword shatter, Zethrid smashed the ice of her blaster and was about to fire on Elsa only for Allura to wrap her Bayard chain around the blaster, Zethrid glared at her opponent who was pulling her towards her.

However all Zethrid could do was smirk. "Its been a long time since I faced a worthy opponent, I'm going to enjoy crushing you!" She exclaimed as she fired a blast forcing Allura to dodge it which losened her chains grip. Using this advantage Zethrid pulled the Altean Princess towards her and used her fist to slam her across the room.

"Allura!" Elsa explained. Making Zethrid turn her attention towards the Ice Queen.

"Oh don't worry Ice your next and I'll be sure to deliver you to your aunt in pieces!" Zethrid exclaimed as she charged at the Ice Queen.

Elsa quickly dodged to the left to avoid Zethrids strike as she then threw ice blasts towards the half Galra brute only for her to swat them away with her bare fists. So Elsa formed giant ice gauntlets on her arms and went into close combat. Zethrid threw her fists at the Ice Queen which she blocked with her gauntlets. Elsa quickly pulls an uppercut on the Galran brute knocking her back.

"Damn! For a puny queen you throw one heck of a punch!" Zethrid exclaimed. "I love a challenge!" She lunged at Elsa who quickly dodged to the right only for Zethrid to grab her arm and toss her into the far wall with a massive crash.

Kieth who had just blocked another strike from Ezor looked and saw Elsa was hurt and Zethrid was getting ready to finish her off. "Huh! No!" He breathed however when he looked up above the Ice Queen he saw an opportunity.

Lance quickly dodged Axca's laser blasts. "Lance!" He heard Kieth calling him and looked to him and saw Elsa was in trouble. "Aim right above the fuel cell!"

"On it!" Lance exclaimed and in slow motion he fired a blast from his Bayard Blaster and just as Zethrid was about to smash Elsa with her bare fists the laser blast hit the fuel cell above her and it unleashed a huge blast of steam which hit Zethrid right in the face blinding her. "GAH!" She yelled. Elsa quickly recovered and unleashed a flurry of ice and snow from her hands blasting her back and trapping her in an icy tomb. She growled in anger.

"Thanks Lance." Elsa called to the sharp shooter.

"My pleasure your royal iceness." Lance bowed jokingly, as Elsa chuckled at his joke she quickly ran over to help Allura to her feet.

"Allura are you okay?" She asked.

"I'll live thanks to you." Allura thanked. However their relief was cut off by the sound of laser blasts.

Lance is forced back as he fires at Axca who comes running towards him, bounce's off the pillar next to her to avoid the new Red Paladin's rapid fire and in one quick motion kicks Lance's Bayard out of his hand and catapults him across the floor where his fellow Paladins and Elsa gather.

"We don't have time for this we need to get to the lions!" Kieth exclaimed realising they had bigger concerns than the Generals to worry about.

"Good idea!" Lance groaned on the ground.

"Then lets go!" Elsa exclaimed and with one twirl of her hands she generated a large ice blizzard which blinded the generals. Axca got one small glimpse of Kieth who had a frown upon his face but the blizzard faded his image away and when it eventually died down they saw their opponents were gone.

In a fit of rage Zethrid finally broke free from her icy prison and was about to run after the escaping Paladins of Voltron. However Axca stopped her before she could.

"Zethrid stop!" Axca exclaimed.

"COME ON!" Zethrid yelled in defiance. "This is our chance to destroy them! We're not letting that Ice Queen get the better of us twice!"

"We have what we came for stick to the plan!" Axca reminded her as they hurried to the comet ship leaving Zethrid with an enraged look on her face that their quarry had escaped.

Axca meanwhile looked back at where the Paladins once stood, for in truth she did recognise the Paladin who saved her in the Weblum. She had hoped to see him again, but didn't expect it to be on the battle field.

On the outskirts of the base deep in the canyons the Paladins and Elsa now in the Speeders were racing back to the lions at full speed.

"Okay what the hell is going on?! What were Lotor's cronies doing here?!" Lance exclaimed from the Red Speeder.

"I recognised one of them, she was the Galra from the Weblum she took the skull trite and I think we can guess why." Kieth said from the Black Speeder.

"But what do they hope to achieve?" Elsa asked from behind Kieth.

"I think I know, Allura you said Zarkon's witch is an Altean right, they must be trying to build a teledove so they can open wormholes." Hunk realised. "That would give the Galra the ability to warp to any part of the galaxy faster than any hyper space jump!"

"You maybe right Hunk, but if Lotor has turned the comet into a ship we have much bigger concerns." Allura realised from the Blue Speeder.

Elsa still wondered why Lotor would go to all this trouble to get a comet that had a hand in the creation of Voltron, and forge a ship from its ore. Then suddenly it dawned on her. "Hold on guys you said the reason Zarkon wanted Voltron was because the ore he was made from could travel between realities right?"

"Yeah?" Hunk said.

"Well what if Lotor's trying to succeed where his father failed." Elsa continued. "If he's made a ship from the comet maybe he wants to use it to travel to other realities."

"To gather pure Quintessence from the Quintessence field, that could aid the Galra Empire for centuries to come!" Allura began to get the picture.

"That must be his plan to cross into other realities to get the purest Quintessence possible." Pidge realised from the Green Speeder. "But one thing still doesn't click, I thought Lotor took over for Zarkon why would he attack his own base?"

"So far nothing Lotor does makes sense anymore." Elsa agreed, still not understanding this at all. First Lotor saved her and Kieth on that planet where they found the second key, then he tries to anatyalte them with a fleet upon their escape, even before that he tried to stage a coup on Crydor and now he attacks his own base?

"I don't know what Lotor's game is but it's why we need to stop him here and now we can't let him get that ship if he does the Galra will be unstoppable!" Kieth then said as the Speeders sped through the canyon to get back to the lions.

Meanwhile:

On the bridge of the Galra cruiser that was now flying above the exposed Teledove lens, Ezor and Zethrid had a visual on the target. The ship activated its tractor beam at the front of the cruiser and began to slowly but surely lift the Teledove from the base. While a beaten and unconscious Throk lay unconscious still reeling from Narti's influence.

Castle of Lions:

From the Castle bridge, Shiro, Coran, Kristof, Sven and Olaf saw the generals were about to make their escape.

"They're taking off with the teledove thingy!" Olaf said.

"Shiro we can't let them get away!" Kristof exclaimed.

"We won't, we need to stop that cargo ship." Shiro agreed. "Coran take us in and lock onto that ship we can't let it escape."

"I'm on it." Coran said as he activated the castles engines and moved them closer to the planet in hope of intercepting the cargo ship.

However just then a faint spark emerged from the cargo ship, and something flew out at top speed towards the castle.

"Whoa what was that!" Olaf asked. Coran focused the Castles sensors on the incoming object and the screen brought up the Syncline ship made from the comets ore approaching them at top speed.

"What is that thing?!" Kristof asked Sven gulped in worry looking at the hostile ship.

"That must be the ship made form the comet." Coran realised.

"Wow it sure is funny looking." Olaf noticed looking at its overall appearance.

"Then lets be careful." Shiro advised not liking this situation at all. "Raise particle barrier, fire castle defences." With no time to lose Coran activated the particle barrier that immediately surrounded the castle.

The castle fired a powerful energy blast from its shield targeting the Syncline ship, however it simply evaded the blasts with its enhanced speed and streamlined mobility in its design and flew right past the Castle of Lions.

"It dodged it!" Kristof said in complete surprised he nor Coran or Shiro couldn't believe what they were seeing. This craft was so fast and instantly dodged an incoming laser blast.

"That things moving like lightning!" Sven (Kristof imitated him)

"Your right a quick little bugger isn't it." Coran agreed.

"I've never seen anything that size move that fast!" Shiro breathed in disbelief.

"Its just as fast as the Lions!" Olaf said.

"Yeah if its made from the same ore does that mean it's as powerful as Voltron?" Kristof wondered.

"I'm afraid your right Kristof." Shiro said with a rather grave tone.

The Syncline ship continued to evade and doge all the blasts coming from the Castle of Lions moving its forward spires to roll around the shots, swinging around. It swooped round the Castle and fired its rear retro thrusters and hovered in place in front of the castle. Firing from the front was several energy blasts that impacted the Particle Barrier only to be deflected.

However this ship had more than one weapon in the centre are it charged a massive energy blast and with one shot it blasted the right hand side of the particle barrier clean away as if it was match wood.

The crew on the Castle bridge felt the full force of the impact. "What the heck was that!" Kristof exclaimed.

"That beam cut right through the particle barrier I've never seen a beam that strong!" Coran exclaimed.

"Oh no this is bad!" Olaf cried as he clung to Sven who was whimpering.

"Team where are you!" Shiro called on the coms.

"Hang on Shiro we're on the way!" Called Kieth's voice on the com line.

Far below the Lions took off from the planet and flew straight towards the castle at maximum speed. "Okay guys lets see how powerful this ship is! FORM VOLTRON!" Kieth exclaimed from the Black Lion as Elsa stood behind his pilot seat. The lions glowed in a bright light as they came together.

The Syncline ship charged another blast and fired upon the Altean ship shattering the left side of the Particle Barrier more shots like that and the Castle would be defenceless.

"Gah! We can't take another hit like that!" Coran exclaimed from the bridge.

Fortunately for the Castle back up was at hand. For as the Syncline ship was readying its final blast an incoming blast from above knocked it off course, forcing it to retreat, it was then Voltron arrived on the scene ready to face its equally powerful opponent. The ship zoomed back towards the Castle with Voltron in hot pursuit.

"Its going after the Castle!" Elsa exclaimed.

"Not if we can help it!" Kieth said with determination as he formed the Black Bayard. "FORM SWORD!" He exclaimed thrusting the Bayard into its open port and Voltron formed his Sword ready for battle.

Inside the cockpit of the Syncline ship it was Narti and Axca who were piloting it, they received a communication from Lotor. "Keep Voltron engaged until the cargo ship is out of range!" He ordered.

Narti pulled on the control sticks in her cockpit and swiftly moved the ship to avoid an incoming sword strike from Voltron who flew after it in pursuit.

"Do not be drawn in the sword strike is his most deadly blow!" Lotor advised Axca as she piloted the ship as well.

Voltron made another slash at the ship only for it to evade to the left, as the Defender of the Universe flew in and tried to slash it again it evaded with a barrel role thanks to its streamline spires, Voltron tried again and again to strike the ship but even he was no match for its immense speed.

"GAHH! Its too quick!" Kieth exclaimed in frustration.

"How can something be faster than Voltron?" Elsa questioned.

"Its the ore it gives it unlimited power just like the lions!" Pidge realised.

Just then a communication from Shiro came in. "Guys the cargo ship is escaping with the Teledove inside of it! You need to take it out now!"

"WHat!?" Kieth questioned. "But I thought taking out the ship made from the comet was the most important thing!"

"It is but right now they're using it as a diversion we still can't let Lotor get away with the Teledove!" Shiro then argued back.

"Shiro's right we need to destroy it!" Allura agreed.

"But the comet is right here we need to take it out!" Kieth exclaimed he wasn't going to let Lotor get away.

"Guys!" Elsa yelled to all of them. "Don't you get it this is what Lotor wants he's giving us two choices let them take the Teledove or get the Comet ship either way they win!" This brought everyone to attention. "Kieth I know the comet is dangerous and we can't let Lotor have it but if they get the ability to open wormholes giving them an advantage. But it's your call."

This notion gave Kieth some pause this was just like thaserix and Crydor all over again he didn't listen to his teammates and he was faced with a difficult choice. He took a breath and calmed down he took in what Elsa had said and remembered. "Patience yields focus."

"Kieth whats the call!" Lance called.

"Alright disengage from the battle!" Kieth decided and so Voltron pulled away from his battle with the Syncline ship and blasted after the cargo ship. However just as they were closing in a number of blasts from the Syncline ship hit Voltron dead in the back. He quickly formed his shield.

"Kieth the cargo ship is getting away!" Shiro exclaimed and Voltron looked to see the ship was flying further out of range.

"We can't break away the moment we do we'll be venerable!" Kieth exclaimed.

"Lotor's forced us into a trap to either defend or go after the teledove to leave us venerable!" Allura agreed.

On the Castle Bridge everyone tried to think of what to do, it was then Kristof realised he couldn't just sit on the sidelines any longer. "Coran how far away is the ship from us?" He then asked.

"Nearly out of blaster range why?" Coran asked.

"Okay I can get to the Cargo ship!" Kristof then proposed.

"WHAT?!" Everyone exclaimed.

"Look I can use one of those pods to get over to that ship and do something about that teledove." Krsitof then said.

"Kristof its out of the question I won't allow it!" Shiro disagreed.

"He's right that comet ship would tear your pod apart instantly and if it doesn't the cruisers defences will." Coran agreed.

"Not unless he uses the cloaking field!" Keith then realised. "Pidge if he did could he get to the cargo ship in time?"

"Possibly with the booster but there's still the issue of this comet ship." Pidge then said.

"Not unless you guys buy the time I need." Kristof then said. "Its like Kieth said so far Lotor's outsmarted us but maybe it's time we outsmart him, he doesn't know there's more of us now!" Shiro however was still unsure he wouldn't dare put one of his own at risk. "Shiro I can do this please. Trust me."

"Shiro, I know the Teledoves important too but this ship is determined to keep us away we don't have a choice." Elsa said to him, and it was then he made a decision.

"You know I'd expect Anna to pull a crazy stunt like this." Shiro said making Kristof look a little nervous about what he would say next. "And in her case crazy works. Okay get to the pod and get underway. Team you need to keep that ship at bay until he gets to the cargo ship."

"Understood!" Kieth agreed.

Kristof hurried down to the hanger to get a pod however just as Sven was following him. "No Sven stay here with Shiro and Coran." He said to him but the reindeer wanted to go with him. "No stay." He said and it was then the reindeer got the message and stayed where he was.

Just as Kristof was heading out all of a sudden they felt an almighty BANG hit the ship shaking everyone aboard. "Wha! What the quisnak was that!?"

"Sounds like something penetrated the outer haul of the Castle!" Coran exclaimed in shock.

"Get us a visual!" Shiro said and Coran brought up surveillance footage of the area that had been hit close to the upper second spire. It looked like a large chunk of ice, but not the kind that you find in space. Suddenly it uncurled to reveal it as a familiar looking ice Monster.

"Oh no!" Olaf gasped as did Sven as they'd seen this creature once before.

"Shiro whats going on!" Kieth called.

"It looks like we have an uninvited guest!" Shiro said as they showed the Paladins the visuals as they continued in battle with the comet ship.

"No way it's that same Ice monster we saw at that abandoned Galra base, where…" Lance suddenly gasped in realisation.

Elsa was just as horrified in the Black Lion, she knew all too well who was behind this. "Ingrid!" She gasped much to Kieth's alerted face. "She must've sent that thing!"

"Gah I knew this would happen! It's come for the keys!" Kieth realised. "Shiro we're on our way!"

"Negative stay on task, Kristof get to a pod and get to that cargo ship, I'll take care of that thing!" Shiro disagreed. With that Kristof left the bridge and headed for the hanger. However the Paladins didn't agree with Shiro's action.

"Shiro no we barely stood our ground the last time we went up against one of Ingrid's monsters it'll tear you apart!" Kieth exclaimed.

"Let me worry about that Kieth, you and the team focus on buying Kristof the time he needs." Shiro said to him, while Kieth was unsure he knew they had bigger problems so he nodded in agreement.

Voltron and the Syncline ship continued to duel both evenly matched in speed and agility. The two clashed against each other with Voltron slashing at the ship with its sword only for the ship to evade and fire upon the Legendary Defender as he blocked with his shield.

In the cockpit Lotor continued to communicate with his generals. "We have them right where we want them, they can either defend or go after the Teledove and leave themselves venerable!"

However little did Lotor know the Defenders of the Universe also had a plan in place. Out of the ships line of sight a small Altean Pod launched from the castle, Coran was able to give the Ice master a crash course in flying it, luckily he found it easy to fly much like the Yellow Lion. He wore Hunks spare helmet so he could communicate with the team.

"Okay guys I'm going in." Kristof said.

"Alright the cloak device should be on your console and the booster function should get you there fast enough before Lotor's generals detect your presence." Pidge relayed.

"Thanks Pidge." Kristof called as he pressed a holo button of the ship on the console, and the ship vanished from sight. Then he activated the pods booster engine and ZOOM He was pressed right against the pilot seat as he blasted all the way over to the Galra cruiser.

While he was the battle between Voltron and the Syncline ship continued with it firing rapid fire lasers which the defender of the universe was able to avoid.

"We need to try and confuse it! LION HEAD ATTACK!" Kieth ordered.

"On it!" Pidge, Lance, Hunk and Allura thrusted their bayards into the open ports and the lion heads blasted off Voltron and flew towards the Syncline ship flying all around it. Blue Lion unleashed its laser blast from below but before the Syncline ship could return fire the Red Lion head attacked from above. Narti and Axca were rocked around inside the cockpit from the impacts.

Kristofs Pod soon blasted right through the Galra cruisers hanger doors and skidded across the deck. Eventually the Ice Master emerged from the cockpit rather disoriented and then he finally threw up on the ground.

"Gah how does Hunk do this all the time!" Kristof groaned before he activated the helmet com. "Coran I'm on board where am I going?"

"Head to the centre of the ship you should be able to access a hatch that leads to the Teledove." Coran relayed.

"On it!" Kristof said as he ran to the far door at the end of the hanger. "Oh Kristof what have you gotten yourself into!" He hurried and reached the door. He pulled out the arm from a Galra sentry robot, as a souvenir from the outpost and placed it on the hand scanner. The door opens and he hurried through.

Castle of Lions:

Back on the castle while explosions emerged all around it from the great battle outside. Shiro hurried through the castle corridors until he could feel the air around him getting colder. Soon he arrived at the corridor and saw before him the same Ice monster that the Paladins encountered when they were ambushed by Ingrid.

The Ice Monster turned its attention to the armoured Paladin ahead of him and let off an ear splitting roar. In response Shiro energised his prosthetic hand.

"This is where the fun begins!" Shiro said as he ran to his opponent. The beast swung his right arm and it fired ice spikes towards Shiro, who with one swat of his energised hand sliced straight through them one by one.

The beast charged forwards and tried to crush Shiro who slid underneath it and sliced its right leg with his energised hand. Before he grabbed its back and leaped onto it and slammed his fist right through its back causing it to shatter like glass. Shiro stood looking triumphant.

However that victory was short lived as out of nowhere the ice shards reformed and reassembled back into the Ice Monster, which roared in a rage.

"I'm really starting to not like Elsa's aunt!" Shiro groaned as he reenergised his hand and charged back into battle.

Galra Cruiser:

Meanwhile back on board Zethrid and Ezor were on the bridge watching the fight between Voltron and the Syncline ship. "Now thats a sight Voltron can hardly keep up! I just wish I had the chance to end them myself!"

Just then Ezor noticed an alert from the console she looked and saw the security monitor of a certain Ice Master running through the halls. "You might get a chance, looks like we have a stowaway." Ezor pointed out and Zethrid looked and saw the intruder heading for their cargo.

"Keep the ship on course I'll deal with this myself!" Zethrid smirked in anticipation and headed down after their intruder.

Kristof soon arrived in a section of the ship, specifically where the Teledove was suspended below the ship with an open hatch showing said cargo.

"I've found the Teledove." Kristof said he then looked in a bag he brought with him and it was full of Ion flares and left over chunks of the ore he, Pidge and Hunk used to escape the planetoid. "Coran what do I do next?"

"You've got to get down to it somehow and lay the charges, then its just a matter of detonating them." Coran explained.

Kristof looked around and saw a bridge over the open cargo door and some cables nearby too. "Hold on I think I've found a way down." Kristof said and ran to the bridge but just before he could reach the cables. A large impact to the bridge blocked his way and it was Zethrid who stood before him with a sadistic smirk on her face.

"Well well well what do we have here!" Zethrid growled rather eager.

"Oh poodoo!" Kristof cringed as the half Galran brute leaped in the air and tried to crush him with her fist, the Ice Master quickly dodged to the right as she slammed into the bridge. She then threw some punches at him, while he dodged the punches before he threw one at her himself only for Zethrid to grab his fist and crush it in her hand causing Kristof to cry in pain. She then kicked him away across the bridge.

"Come on you could at least give me a challenge!" Zethrid glared as she charged forwards.

"Kristof whats happening?!" Coran called.

"A little busy right now Coran!" Kristof groaned as he dodged another punch from Zethrid.

Shiro was sent flying across the Castle hallway and looked beaten up. He looked and saw the Ice Monster had just reformed his arm as a spiked ice club, that Shiro had previously sliced off.

The black clad paladin got up and charged at the Ice Monster, said monster unleashed an ice blast from its mouth upon Shiro. He quickly ducked to the right then slammed a punch right on the beasts face, thanks to his prosthetics enhanced strength he punched the beast into the wall then landed a punch into its chest slamming it back. However he couldn't block the beasts strike from his Ice club slamming into his side. Thankfully his armour took most of the impact.

The beast was about to crush Shiro with his club when out of nowhere Sven rams straight into the beasts gut forcing him back. The black clad Paladin looked and saw the reindeer standing above him and Olaf was riding him he had something in his hand.

"Leave my friend alone you big bully!" Olaf cried. "Look can't we just sit down and talk this over!" He then cried but the beast roared as it let out ice spikes from its right hand. Sven quickly dove to the ground to avoid the spikes. The small snowman landed next to Shiro who looked at his hand and saw what he was holding. He saw a small hole he caused in the Ice Monster was healing up.

"Is that!" Shiro realised. "Thanks Olaf!" He grabbed the red rod and ran to the beast jumped in the air and jammed the rod straight into its chest. He twisted the rod as it was absorbed into the beasts body. He quickly dived to the ground shielding Olaf in his arms and Sven wrapped his body around him as well.

Suddenly the Ice Monster had a shocked look on his face as it heard a beeping sound from the rod. However it wasn't a rod, but one of the Ion flares that Kristof kept from the planetoid. With one beep the ion flare ignighted and it instantly affected the beast causing it to explode to shards to then end up as melted snow afterwards.

The sheltered paladin, reindeer and snowman looked up and saw the outcome of the battle. Shiro breathed a sigh of relief. "Good boy Sven." Shiro said rubbing his head to which Sven smiled in return. "You too Olaf nice job."

"No problem I just wanted to help my friends." Olaf smiled.

"Well thanks." Shiro smiled in return suddenly they heard a loud blast that shook the Castle and remembered the battle outside. He got up and hurried to the bridge.

Galra Cruiser:

Back on the cruiser Zethrid and Kristof continued their fight, the Ice Master dodged an incoming punch from the Galra general before he landed a punch in the gut. Only for her to grab his collar and toss him into the railing of the bridge which became slightly shook of the pain and quickly dodged a double fist slam from the Galra general.

He was soon backed up to the cable and quickly jumped onto it and lowered himself down it.

"Oh no you don't!" Zethrid then used her raw strength to rip the cable from its holding and rocked it left and right, the motion forced Kristof to lose his grip and he fell from the cable and landed on the Teledove lens itself. He was sliding down the blue glass. He quickly drove his hatchet into the surface to prevent him from sliding down.

He breathed a sigh of relief, at least now he was on the lens itself and he looked to see Voltron had its lion heads back and reforged its shield to block the incoming laser blast from the comet ship. He knew he needed to act. He quickly pulled out the bag of his Ion flares and ore and placed it in an opening between the blue lens and the metal framing.

"Your running out of options pal! You've got nowhere to go!" Zethrid yelled to him.

"Maybe maybe not, but at least you won't get your hands on this!" Kristof called. He then activated the coms in his helmet. "Kieth come in you there!"

In the cockpit of the Black Lion Kieth received a transmission from Kristof. "Kristof are you okay have you taken out the cargo ship?!"

"Almost listen you've got to fire on the cargo ship, or basically the Teledove!" Kristof exclaimed.

"What but your still on there!" Lance exclaimed from the Red Lion.

"Listen I've placed a bag of the Ion flares and that ore from the planetoid but I can't detonate it you've got to fire at the Teledove!" Kristof explained.

"He's right with the ore combined with the Ion flares and the blast from the shoulder cannon it should create enough of a blast to destroy it!" Pidge exclaimed. "And in turn unleash a shock wave too."

"But the comet ship still has us pinned!" Kieth exclaimed.

"Kieth!" Shiro called in looking battered.

"Shiro are you okay?" Elsa called. "What happened to Ingrid's monster?"

"Its all taken care of listen you're going to have to lower your shield and blast the cargo ship!" Shiro called.

"Shiro we can still take the ship, if we fire we'll be venerable to an attack!" Kieth exclaimed.

"There's no time you'll have to deal with the consequences." Shiro called. But before Kieth could answer he heard the hatch in the roof open and saw Elsa going outside.

"Elsa what are you doing!" Kieth asked.

"I'm going to buy you guys an opening!" Elsa said as she used her suits jetpack to blast out of the hatch and into space. She hovered over Voltron, closed her eyes and concentrated.

"Kieth whats going on!" Pidge called.

"The ships about to get away?!" Lance called.

"Guys listen up! Hunk get your Bayard ready on my cue we're going to attack the cargo ship." Kieth then said to his team. "Ready?!"

"Ready!" The team replied.

In the cockpit of the Syncline ship:

"They're going to attack the cargo ship be ready to fire as soon as the shield goes down!" Lotor exclaimed to Axca and Narti. However Axca looked and saw that the Ice Queen was hovering above Voltron, just what was going on?

Elsa concentrated all her powers and she closed her hands together and a rather large blizzard began to gather around her, as the ice cold of space almost gave her powers more strength. She continued to focus her power until finally her eyes shot open in a blueish glow and in one yell she unleashed a shockwave from her hands and body, the cold of space froze that shockwave into a blast of large asteroids of ice.

Kieth saw the moment they needed. "GO!" He exclaimed. With that order Hunk inserted his Bayard and the shield retreated back to Voltrons wings and his shoulder cannon formed and his back turned to the Syncline ship.

"FIRE NOW!" Lotor yelled however before the Syncline ship could open fire the Ice asteroids pelted it with such tremendous force knocking its aim off as the beam fired upwards and forced the ship off course.

Voltron fired its shoulder cannon, on the cruiser Kristof jumped clear of the teledove and just as the beam hit the point where the bag was the teledove exploded with a massive force. Said force blasted Kristof clear away from the ship while Zethrid was blasted back from the blast and Ezor felt the impact from the bridge.

The shockwave shot through Voltron and at Elsa who then fainted from the amount of power she spent she was rendered unconscious. Kieth looked and saw Elsa was still out there.

"PIDGE GRAB ELSA!" He called. Pidge quickly moved her control sticks and the Green Lion opened its mouth and grabbed the Ice Queen.

The Ice asteroids were struck by the shockwave as was the Syncline ship as it span out of control. Axca and Narti recovered from the impact, and after seeing the destruction of the Teledove Lotor was less than pleased.

"FIRE AGAIN!" Lotor yelled, and so Axca fired another shot from the syncline ship straight towards Voltron, Keith saw the light from behind him and with one quick motion he thrusted his right control stick forwards and the thrusters in Voltrons wings blasted him away dodging the blast.

"HUNK FIRE THE CANNON AGAIN!" Kieth exclaimed and Voltron's cannon fired on the Syncline ship and likewise it fired on him, the two beams collided and built up a lot of energy until finally it exploded consuming everyone in sight.

The light faded and it revealed both Voltron and the Syncline ship was knocked out and unconscious. Soon however Axca and Narti recovered and saw Voltron was knocked out they saw this as an opportunity to escape and so the ship blasted away from the area and headed towards the cruiser. Zethrid and Ezor were waiting on the outer haul and used their suit jet packs to fly over to the Syncline ship.

The ship then left the area and Lotor was none too pleased on the coms. "Your failure is most disappointing return before more Galra ships converge on your location." He said cutting the line leaving Axca frustrated and disappointed in herself as she fled the scene with her comrades.

One by one the Paladins recovered from the blast they all took. "Ughhh." Kieth groaned. "Is everyone okay?" Kieth asked.

"Yeah I've been better." Lance called.

"I'm good." Hunk said.

"Same here." Pidge agreed.

"I'm alright." Allura called.

Elsa meanwhile was stirring from her unconscious state in the Green Lions mouth, she felt weak, groaning as she stood up. "Elsa, Elsa are you okay?" Kieth called on the coms.

"Yeah, yeah Kieth I'm okay. I…I'm just a little weak." Elsa replied.

"I'm not surprised after a stunt like that." Hunk said. "How the heck did you pull that off?"

"I…I just concentrated and I unleashed my power. But I don't remember being that strong." Elsa voiced still a little dizzy.

"Its probably because of the immense cold out in space, if anything your powers would be at their peak in those conditions." Hunk then analysed.

"Okay guys this doesn't make any sense Lotor attacked a Galra base and tried to steal a Teledove why?" Lance wondered from the Red Lion.

"We can talk about this later they're getting away!" Pidge then exclaimed.

"Pidge's right we need to go after them." Kieth agreed.

"No." Shiro called in on the coms. "Get back to the Castle, something strange is going on here and we need to figure it out."

Kieth didn't like the idea, he wanted to go after Lotor and that ship, but he also realised that the team wasn't in any condition for a fight. So hesitantly he agreed.

"Okay." Kieth said.

"Uh hey guys." Just then a familiar voice called in on the coms.

Voltron turned round and saw in the distance was Kristof floating around in space on one of the pieces of debris from the destroyed Teledove lens. "Before you do…any chance of coming to get me first!"

Hours later:

Soon everyone was back on the Castle of Lions, however Kieth in his casual attire was all alone in the the dark room. He was contemplating todays events, he felt like he'd failed his leadership was undermined, he didn't listen to his teammates and felt like he put Kristof at risk. It was like he'd totally lost his confidence as a leader. Just then Shiro now back in his casual attire walked in.

"Hey." Shiro greeted. "Kieth listen…"

Kieth then turned to Shiro. "Don't say anything I already know!" He exclaimed taking Shiro by surprise. "I screwed up I was so caught up in stopping Lotor I didn't listen again I didn't know what to do! And worst of all its like you undermined my authority as leader of the team you trusted me to lead this mission and its like you took over!" He yelled.

Shiro was rather taken aback by Kieth's reaction but he understood why. Just then Kieth calmed down and took a deep breath. "Sorry..Shiro I just…"

"No Kieth…" Shiro placed a consoling hand on his friends shoulder. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I had to step in like that."

"I just…I thought I had it under control I thought after Crydor I would know how to pick my battles but I just screwed up again." Kieth admitted. "Lets face it Shiro, I'm no good at this I'm not you."

"But Kieth thats just it you are good at this." Shiro told him which took Kieth completely aback. "Elsa told me what happened on Crydor, you were faced with the decision of protecting the planet or going after the defectors, and you chose to put lives first." Shiro explained. "It was also your quick thinking today and putting confidence in Kristof's plan that prevented Lotor from getting the Teledove. Your going to get there, but you just have to accept that we can't win every battle."

Kieth listened to what his brother figure had to say and he had to admit he was right, he did make some progress as a leader, despite everything. But in someway it was because of a certain someones faith in him.

"The Black Lion has chosen you, I'm proud of you Kieth." Shiro said with a warming smile, which did make him smile back.

"Well I can't take all the credit Shiro, you helped in a way, and well Elsa did too. I guess she has a way of making me think to consider my actions." Kieth explained.

"I'm not surprised you've really helped her a lot, she so different from when I saw her last." Shiro agreed.

"Yeah." Kieth said before getting to an important matter. "Shiro look I know your still the leader but I've lead this team well without me looking over my shoulder I just…I do respect your voice above all else but I guess I just need to figure this out in my own way."

"I know you do." Shiro said.

"But that doesn't mean I don't still need you, we all do." Kieth then said to him.

"Kieth if I did stay it wouldn't be as your leader. But as your equal, I'll provide support from the Castle and you lead the team in the field, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't ask for help, I'm here for you if you need it." Shiro then suggested.

Kieth took a moment to think and he knew he still needed Shiro's support in the matter of leadership and he was a good tactician from the Castle. "I can learn to work with that." He said giving a warm smile to his brother. "But Lotor now has a weapon that can match Voltron if anything its given him and Ingrid a new advantage."

"I know, and there will be other opportunities to deal with this situation, but right now we need to turn our attention back to locating the Shattered Eye." Shiro then said. "If its as dangerous as you and the others have told me it could mean dire consequences for the universe."

"Yeah and Lance was right we still don't know what Ingrid's endgame is?" Kieth then said a little frustrated.

"We'll find those answers Kieth and when we do we'll find Anna and we'll send this Snow Queen back to wherever she came from." Shiro agreed.

"So in other words, we need to be patient." Kieth then realised.

Shiro gave a warm smile in response to his answer. "You're learning well." To which Kieth gave a smile in return.

Just then they noticed that Elsa had entered the room. "Glad to see you guys have talked about this." She said to them.

"I'll give you guys some space." Kieth then took his leave of the room and smiled to Elsa as he passed by and likewise she smiled back at him as she walked up to Shiro.

"Elsa you shouldn't be up and about your still weak from that last fight." Shiro advised as he went to her.

"Hey don't worry I'm fine." Elsa assured.

"You said the same thing when you got a cold on Anna's birthday." Shiro said in a teasing way which Elsa returned with a raised eyebrow.

He helped he over to the window showing the galaxy. She couldn't help but admire the beauty of the nebular systems that were passing by. "Hey, thanks for supporting Kieth out there today, you've really shown a lot of faith in him."

"Well you do too, I mean from what he's told me you practically raised him." Elsa said in agreement.

"Yeah I did, he's got a lot of the potential, the fact the Black Lion chose him shows that." Shiro agreed.

"I know, but I think your having trouble letting him do this alone." Elsa said which got his attention. "Look your right Kieth does have potential, but I think he has to understand that on his terms, just as you did. I mean when I was becoming queen of Arendelle I tried to be like my father, but then I realised I couldn't be him I could only do it my way. I still think of how he would handle things but I knew I had to do it as me." She then said to him.

Shiro sighed at what she just said, and she did raise some good points. "And you think my stepping in hurt his confidence I already knew that."

"Your words not mine, but all you can do is be there to support him, in whatever decision he makes." Elsa said. "Just…like how you supported me when we first met."

The former Black Paladin smiled at those words as he and the Ice Queen continued to admire the view of space. Then they placed each others hands on top of each other.

"You know its really beautiful out there." Elsa said.

"Yeah it really is." Shiro agreed.

It was in that moment when all was quiet and peaceful they moved in closer together, and out of nowhere as if their actions weren't their own, their faces going in close, and their lips almost… Their eyes opened and realised what they were about to do and pulled away.

"Uh I…I better go check on Coran." Shiro said as he left the room rather quickly. Leaving a very confused and rather upset Elsa in the room she placed her hand on her lips and just breathed heavily.

"Wh…why did we do that?" She questioned.

She wasn't the only one for Shiro stood outside the room a distance away and hit his head against the wall. "Takashi you idiot!" He growled to himself. He honestly didn't now why he nearly did what he did or what he was thinking.

Elsewhere:

In a deep part of the galaxy Lotor's command ship flew through the quietness of space. The generals were assembled in the hanger where the Syncline ship now lay. Ingrid was also present still trying to contain her awe at this technological marvel that stood before her. A ship that could rival the power of Voltron itself.

Just then Prince Lotor arrived on the deck and his generals stood to attention. "Despite our failure to acquire the Teledove, thanks to Narti's efforts we were able to draw suspicion away from our involvement and I witnessed Throk take the fall at the witches hands.

A flash back suddenly showed Throk cried in pain as Haggar was delivering immense torture to the commanders failure. Not even knowing the whole story.

"Ouch." Ezor cringed.

"Indeed but it sufficed our needs." Lotor said.

"Yet you still haven't eliminated the Paladins." Ingrid then voiced getting all who was presents attention.

"Don't question Lotor witch, because as you can see we now have a weapon that can rival even the power of Voltron itself!" Zethrid said to her. "This ship is now the ultimate power in the universe and I say we use it!"

However all Ingrid could do was let out a scoff in Zethrids face, as well as, a light laugh. "I'm sorry whats so funny?" Ezor asked.

"Oh nothing, but if I were you I wouldn't be too dependant on this technological terror you've constructed the ability to match the power of Voltron is nothing!" Ingrid then said. "For what I intend to claim will give us the power to make this universe yours for the taking."

"Oh please don't try and frighten us with your magic tricks witch!" Zethrid scoffed which did put a blank look on the Snow Queen's face. "Your so called powers couldn't deal with Voltron or the Paladins, let alone snatch that so called niece of yours. Or give you any indication of what this wild Yelmore chase will…" Suddenly Zethrid felt rather cold, she looked over her and to her horror she was freezing into ice from her feet first.

Ingrid had her hand up which was surging with magic. Much to the half Galran generals horror while Lotor simply observed.

"I'm sorry that I find your lack of faith disturbing my dear." Ingrid simply said smirking sadistic like.

As Zethrid was nearly a frozen ice sculpture Lotor spoke up. "Enough of this release her!" He said.

"As you wish." Ingrid said as she released her powers influence on Zethrid as she defrosted but still shivering. Then Ingrid remembered something. "Oh and another thing. Prince Lotor, did you acquire what I asked?"

"Of course." Lotor then pulled out a small Galran data drive. "A section of the Galran data archive."

"Thank you this will be a big help my prince." Ingrid said as she left the room leaving the Generals and Galran Prince completely alone.

"Prince Lotor." Axca said as she stepped up getting Lotor's attention. "I know it's not my place but do you think its wise to give such delicate information to that Snow Queen, we still don't know her intentions or true allegiance?"

"Of course not Axca its why I don't." Lotor voiced. "I've had my suspicions of our new allies intentions since the confrontation with the Paladins over an Altean relic. All it took was Queen Elsa's warning to confirm my suspicions. I suspect I know of the relic she seeks, and if I'm right it could jeopardise everything we've planned."

"So what do we do?" Ezor asked.

"I say we crush her now and be done with her!" Zethrid exclaimed wanting to crush the Snow Queen into powder.

"Patience Zethrid to move now would reveal our suspicions to her, so for now we wait and see how long she's willing to spin her deception." Lotor explained to his generals. "Ezor." He said getting her attention. "I have a mission for you that requires your stealth expertise."

Castle of Lions: Green Lions hanger:

Pidge and Hunk were back in the Green Lions hanger still trying to crack the keys leading to the Shattered Eye. Olaf along with Flurry and the Mice wandered into the hanger where they found Pidge and Hunk struggling to make any progress. They had just done another deep scan of the keys again. However the result came back just like the last. Negative.

Pidge had just about enough she slammed her fists on the table in frustration. "GAHHH None of this makes sense we got the second key and despite everything it won't give us the coordinates to the next one!" She exclaimed.

"We've looked at them over and over and still nothing! This whole thing is just giving me a headache!" Hunk agreed as he slammed his head against the table.

"Hey guys." Olaf said getting their attention. "Hey why the long faces?"

"Ugh these keys have beaten us we're still no closer to finding the third key!" Pidge groaned. Olaf then waddled over and picked up said keys in his hands.

"Come on guys don't be so sad your all so smart and you'll figure it out." Olaf said trying to raise their spirits and the mice with Flurry squeaked in agreement.

"I don't know." Hunk groaned. "But Olaf be careful with them they're delicate." He then turned to Pidge while Olaf looked at the keys. "Maybe we should ask Allura to hold the two keys maybe touching them both helps."

"Maybe." Pidge wondered however just as they were about to contact Allura.

"Hey guys look at this." Olaf called.

"What is it O…" Suddenly Pidge gasped as when she and the Yellow Paladin looked to the small snowman they couldn't believe it. He had the keys crossed together but it looked like the second key was phasing through the first like a ghost.

"Wow its like they're solid but they pass through each other." Olaf chirped as he separated them.

"Olaf." Hunk said getting his attention. "Do that again." He said. So Olaf crossed them over again and the tip on the first key phased through the middle of the second key. He crossed them again and again and again.

The two smart Paladins looked at each other completely taken aback. Then suddenly it dawns on them. "You don't think." Hunk wondered.

So Pidge took back the two keys from Olaf and gave the second key to Hunk as they stood opposite each other. "Ready…" Pidge raised her key like she was about to strike Hunk.

"Set…" Hunk did the exact same thing. Then almost simultaneously.

"GO!" They crossed the tips of the keys together and then the two seemed to interlock together at the top and floated as Hunk and Pidge let go of them. Then projected from the top was a blue light with Altean writing on it.

Pidge and Hunk gasped and laughed with a mixture of joy and amazement Olafs jaw dropped open as he was amazed too. "Woooow guys what is it?"

"Olaf you clever little snowman!" Hunk exclaimed as he lifted him up from the ground and pulled him into a hug. While confused Olaf was happy to return the gesture.

"Aww thanks guys but if you wanted a warm hug you could just ask." Olaf said. "Uh question why am I so clever?" He asked.

"Because little guy you just cracked the secret of the keys!" Pidge exclaimed with joy. "Now it all makes sense, we use each key to find the next but what we didn't know was how they really work. It's like a system when we found the first key Allura activated it which sent a signal to the second."

"I get it, we used the first key to find the second, but only when the two keys are together does it point the way to the third!" Hunk realised with joy.

"Oh so when they're together they show the way, like pieces of a map." Olaf said.

"Yes and now we have the coordinates to the third key!" Pidge exclaimed as Hunk used Pidges computer to type in the coordinates to see where it leads on the star charts.

"Oh man it gets even better judging by the coordinates it leads straight to the Balmera!" Hunk exclaimed.

"We better tell Shiro and the others!" Pidge said with urgency. "Looks like we're not out of this hunt just yet!"

Authors notes: And scene! Whew longest one yet but worth it! But this isn't good now Lotor is in possession of a ship made from the same ore as Voltron, and despite some conflicts of leadership it would seem Shiro and Kieth are trying to operate as equals. Now I made some adjustments to the battle with the Frozen characters involvement to try and change the outcome of things one of which being The Syncline ship being vunrable after that shot after the teledoves destruction, to me it would've been the perfect opening for Voltron to fire his cannon.

Also the moment between Shiro and Kieth after the mission I felt more could've been built upon that conversation. Now to those in the reviews there will be no episodes of season 4 in this story. It is a simple extension to season 3 of VLD given as I said at the start I felt Kieth didn't get much time as leader during that time or to see how he and Shiro (the clone) could've operated as equals in other episodes.

But now the race to find the eye is back on but before they arrive at their destination theres still the question...what is Ingrid's (The Snow Queens) endgame.
