Authors Notes: A..nd we're back with Voltron Frozen Defender! Can I just apologise for all the late updates to my stories, I have a lot going on at the moment and its becoming more difficult for me to update more regularly with all the work I've got on. But I may have a solution in place and I appreciate your continued patience. Now without further delay lets begin!

:Core:

Lotors command ship flies through the crystal glow of an emerald coloured nebula, all was quiet. Within the confines of the ship Ingrid sat in solitude, she was looking at several monitors displaying information. This information was from the Galra data tracks and it was an entry regarding the war between the Galra and the Druul. Through her experiences with the original Paladins and Lotor's aid she could understand the language and it seemed she was looking for something specific.

"I know you've hidden it somewhere Alfor, you can't keep me from what I desire." Ingrid said with partial frustration.

Though there were descriptions of the Druul's ultimate weapon the Shattered Eye there was nothing that said what Alfor had done with it but she could see there was information on a supposed weapon that could enhance the eyes power. However so far there was nothing. So she stood up and left the room as the door sealed shut behind her. However just then Ezor reappeared from her camouflage, she then took interest in what the Snow Queen was looking at.

"Hmm just what are you hiding lady." She wondered.

On the bridge Lotor stood silently as Zethrid, Axca and Narti manned the controls. Ingrid soon arrived on the bridge and stood beside Lotor.

"I trust you found what you needed?" Lotor asked.

"Oh it was enlightening Prince Lotor." Ingrid said before her attitude changed to some partial anger and maintained a calm demeanour. "However there is a concern, somehow the Paladins have weakened my link with my niece, the very thing that allows me to track her wherever she goes."

"How does that work?" Zethird asked.

"We share the same powers and magical energies therefore it creates a sort of link between us. I almost discovered where they were until I was attacked….By the Black Lion." Ingrid explained clenching her fist.

"How did it do that? It can't have torn apart the Altean ship could it?" Zethird asked.

"No it attacked me on the spiritual plane, I don't know how but I suspect I know why." Ingrid said which got everyone's attention. "It appears my niece has a strong connection to the Paladin she calls Shiro, I'd go as far as, to say it is a special connection and it would seem the lion could sense it too and weakened my connection to her."

"So we are unable to determine where they are now?" Axca asked.

"Not quite my dear, fortunately before I was attacked I learned where it was they were going next and the significance of these relics they seek." Ingrid explained. "It would appear these relics are the key to what I seek and one is on what they call The Balmera."

Lotor looked at her hiding his realised look at what she was describing. "Is there a significance to this Prince Lotor?" Ingrid asked.

"Yes many months ago the Paladins had freed a Balmera from my fathers control so it is likely there they are heading to." Lotor acknowledged as he showed Ingrid said planet on the holo maps in front of them.

"Then that is where I must go if I am to get what I seek!" Ingrid said almost with some urgency.

"Very well, Zethrid, Axca plot a course for the Balmera at once." Lotor told his generals who nodded in acknowledgement as they set a course. Ingrid then took her leave of the bridge to continue her study.

All was quiet on the bridge while Zethird gritted her teeth. "Gah Lotor how much longer do we have to play along with this game of hers!" She said impatient wanting so much to rip of the Snow Queens head and boot it into space.

"Patience Zethrid patience." Lotor simply said before he spoke out loud. "What did you learn?" Ezor suddenly reappeared next to him.

"Well from what I could see she was interested in some war between the Galra and the Druul." Ezor explained from her findings.

"The Druul?" Axca asked. "But they were wiped out by the Galra centuries ago?"

"They were during the rein of my great grandfather yet some say there were survivors from their worlds destruction." Lotor explained. "Yet this confirms what I've suspected she seeks the Shattered Eye."

"The what?" Zethrid asked while Narti looked at her cat Kova with a quiet look.

"A powerful relic that was said to be the Drulls ultimate weapon to destroy worlds, supposedly it could turn an entire planets populace against each other destroying it from the inside out." Lotor described which more than startled. "My father and King Alfor found it many years ago before the war so there's no doubt it was discovered in the same world that Ingrid and Queen Elsa hail from."

"Sir what does this mean?" Axca asked.

"It means if this is what Ingrid seeks it could jeopardise my plans for the empire!" Lotor said with contempt.

"I say we just blow her out of the airlock and be done with her!" Zethrid argued while Kova hissed in agreement while Narti calmed her pet.

"No if what we have seen so far is any evidence she is more powerful than the Ice Queen, so we need only bide our time or we simply let Voltron dispose of her for us, but if she wipes them out. So much the better." Lotor simply said as their ship headed towards their intended destination.

Elsewhere: In another part of the Galaxy:

Elsa stood alone within a room of the Castle of Lions as she looked out at the vast nebula from the viewing window. She just stood alone in isolation.

"I will find you Anna. I will." She whispered to herself and she was holding something in her hand.

"Elsa." She jumped in fright and turned around to find, Shiro standing in the doorway behind her. "Hey hey its okay.I..I didn't mean to startle you."

"Sh-Shiro…I..how long have you been standing there?" Elsa asked startled as she looked at him ho bore a concerned look.

"Long enough." Shiro said as he approached her. "Plus I know you've been a bit distant from us in the days it's taking us to get to the Balmera. I know you miss Anna, we all do but we will find her."

"Will we though?" Elsa questioned. "We found Kristof but Pidge's tracker hasn't picked up anything on Anna and now I have my memories back I can't help but wonder if Ingrid did something to her before that light saved us! Sometimes I can't help but wonder if I hope in vain."

"Hey don't think that." Shiro said placing his hand on her shoulder. "Think back to when Haggar had you under her influence you could've given up and let her control you but you had your own will and fought back or even when you saved me from Zarkon, or even everyone else its because you know never to give up. We're all here with you we'll find Anna and bring her home."

Elsa couldn't help but look hopeful at Shiro's words but couldn't help but wonder. "If we even have a home to go back to." She said. Just then she felt a hand cupping her face gently she looked up to Shiro.

"We will, remember what saved Anna, love will thaw and as long as you hold onto the memories of those you love it will thaw out anything that comes our way. Elsa your surrounded by people who love and care for you. We'll be by your side no matter what." Shiro told her.

Elsa couldn't help but look straight into his eyes she knew everything he said was true. She had endured even the harshest of trials even all thats going on with this family crisis with her aunt and everything else, she realised she had come a long way from being the timid girl afraid of her powers, she was now someone willing to stand and fight for those she loved. The fact the Black Lion accepted her was proof of that.

She smiled warmly at him. "Your right, and I know." She said, it was in that moment they were in each others arms and they drew closer to each other but just before their lips touched. Shiro stopped and realised what they were doing.

"Shiro." Called a voice on the intercom. "Need you up on the bridge we'll be arriving at the Balmera shortly."

"Uh sure Coran on my way up." Shiro said more focused on this now rather than what nearly happened. He looked at Elsa. "I uh..I better go, I'll see you later." He said before taking his leave. Leaving Elsa totally alone again while Shiro just looked as hurt and confused as she was.

The Ice Queen sighed. Just why was she feeling the way she was and why wasn't he responding to it. "Elsa." She was startled again and saw Allura was there now along with Kristof.

"Are you okay?" The Altean Princess asked seeing Elsa's distressed look.

"Oh A-Allura Kristof I didn't see you there." Elsa breathed.

"Yeah sorry, but are you okay you don't look so good?" Kristof asked.

"I I'm fine just thinking about Anna thats all." Elsa said but Allura could see she was bluffing.

"Come on Elsa I know that look, me and Anna have seen it loads of times it means somethings bothering you." Kristof noticed.

She knew he was right. "Is it to do with Ingrid?" Allura asked.

"No it…its not that…its….Shiro." Elsa breathed as she leaned against the side. Both Allura and Kristof were both surprised to hear that it wasn't Ingrid bothering her but the former Black Paladin.

Elsa sighed before she spoke again. "When…when we lost the Comet ship after Shiro spoke to Keith we ended up talking and I…." The Altean and Ice Master listened with interest. "I…I almost kissed him." She said simply taking the two completely aback, but none the less continued to listen to what she was saying.

"I..I don't know why I'm feeling like this, I mean I admire Shiro, and all of the other Paladins, I mean Allura you and the others have given me more confidence in myself and helped me be more brave with my powers. But Shiro he….he understands me, we're both leaders we've both had our inner struggles be it his own traumas about being Zarkon's prisoner or me afraid of embracing the magic within. Despite everything he stays strong for everyone and even helping Keith be the leader he knows he can be just as I believe in him. When he protected me in the Ice Palace he was willing to risk his life for me. Then when I thought I lost him I…I felt like a part of me was missing like I was lost and now he's back and when we were in this room I…I felt something with him.I haven't felt this way before I can't describe it."

"Elsa." Kristof said to her as Allura looked at her with a smile. "What your feeling. It's called love." Elsas eyes went circular and then blushed at the very thought. "Your in love."

"You…you think so?" Elsa asked.

"Yes I've seen it, every time you and Shiro are in the same room." Allura agreed. "The same love that my father shared with my mother, that and Lance has had his thoughts with Pidge and Hunk."

Elsa just shook her head in a not surprising way. "But I've never been in love before how can I be sure?"

"Well Pabie once said that love is about putting others needs before your own, its kinda like how I brought Anna back to Arendelle and came back when I knew she needed me." Kristof explained. "Plus the fact that Shiro went up to the Ice Palace with you despite knowing it could leave the others venerable without Voltron."

"Indeed or when you were under Haggar influence he never gave up until he saved you. With all the two of you have been through in your lives that in a way makes you kindred spirits." Allura agreed.

This made Elsa think a little and back to when she first met Shiro injured in the snow seeing he'd suffered greatly as she had when she was young. He'd always been there for her just as Keith had in his absence and helping her overcome her own worries and grief about her powers. She then remembered how she'd danced with him at the ball, she felt safe around him more than any suitor she had met it made her realise this feeling, but would it work?

"I…I'm so confused." She said putting her hand on her temple. "If this is love, why…why didn't we…." "It probably wasn't the best time." Kristof assured her.

"Yes with everything thats going on there's possibly a lot on his mind but I am sure that deep down he feels the same way about you." Allura assured her as well with an assuring hand on her shoulder. "I could see it in his eyes when we were in the totality and if Anna was here she would think your a perfect match."

"You…you really think so?" Elsa asked.

"We know so but just take it one step at a time." Kristof told her. "Besides I guess every Ice Queen needs a knight." He said jokingly.

"Okay let's find Anna and get through this first then we'll talk about my relationships." Elsa said a little upbeat.

Outside the room listening in was Kieth, though this would be considered eavesdropping he couldn't help but listen to this conversation. He would be lying if he didn't see the connection that Elsa and Shiro shared same could be said of the other Paladins.

The Bridge:

On the bridge Coran was maintaining the Castles heading while Shiro stood with him. "We should arrive at the Balmera in a few doboshes." Coran relayed.

"Anything on the long range sensors?" Shiro asked.

"Nothing yet so far no sign of Lotor or Ingrid." Coran relayed.

"Okay but keep a constant watch, if Ingrid did find out where the third key is in that brief moment she contacted Elsa we need to be ready for anything." Shiro told him.

"You got it, I'll just go and tune the sensors on the spires to widen the range." Coran then headed out leaving Shiro to man the bridge passing Kieth as he went by. Kieth went to see his brother figure on the helm of the bridge, he could see that while trying to concentrate on the task at hand Shiro looked troubled by something.

"Hey I was looking for you." Kieth said to him.

"Something wrong?" Shiro asked.

"You tell me?" Kieth said to which Shiro did a double take.

"Uh not that I'm aware." Shiro simply said.

"Come on Shiro I know when somethings bothering you, what is it? Tell me please." Kieth said to him out of concern.

Shiro knew he couldn't hide anything from Kieth as he knew him so well. He sat down on the step before Allura's station and Kieth sat down next to him. "Well…I've got something on my mind, I'm just trying to make sense out of it."

"Is it about Elsa?" Kieth asked much to Shiro's surprise. "Oh come on you didn't think I noticed how you looked at Elsa's memories when we were in that mind totality?" Kieth asked him, Shiro mentally sighed realising Kieth could pick up even the smallest thing.

"Well after you left I spoke to Elsa about Ingrid, then… we..we almost kissed." Shiro finally said. Kieth's eyes widened with shock by what his brother figure had just said.

"Wait…so you figured out your…." He then asked.

Shiro paused for a moment as he was unsure how to describe his situation. "Well…yeah…I'm…bi." he said taking a deep breath. "So I'm guessing you and the guys somehow knew."

Kieth gave a small smile. "Yeah kinda, Lance was speculating it at first but after we left Arendelle the first time or even after that whole totality episode we kinda started to get the feeling you two have been closer since we found you. We didn't say anything unless you were ready to say, but then you dissapeared." He then said and put a measuring hand on his shoulder. "But how long did you feel this way about her?"

"Well I don't know." Shiro said looking down at the floor. "When I first woke up in that castle and saw Elsa I was surprised." He explained as Kieth listened. "As I got to know her I could tell she was still in pain, she was still being haunted by the grief of being separated from Anna and the fear of her powers on top of that. I understood that because it was like what happened when I was prisoner of the Galra when I lost my arm. Even after everything whenever I was with her in Arendelle I…I felt at peace its like I was living my life before Kerberos, when I look at her now after all she's been through I keep saying look at her she's come so far so I have to go the distance too, and I…I feel happy."

Kieth could see that just having Shiro talk about her makes him feel happy. He could see it in his eyes."I haven't felt this way about anyone since…" "Adam." Kieth finished.

"Yeah, since Adam." Shiro said then looking a little down. "In a way she's reminded me of him." However he was rather confused about his feelings. "But…I…I don't know what to think, if I feel this way about her am I betraying Adam?" He then asked.

"Look Shiro, I'm no good with people or feelings but, well I know when it came to the Kerberos mission you and him didn't leave on the best of terms." Kieth said though he wasn't good at this kind of thing but with Shiro it seemed different. "and that year in the Galra prisons was hell for you and it took a lot away, but well there's not much I can say but I didn't know much about my family but meeting the Blades, the thought that my mother maybe alive, it made me think I could belong." Keith then said as Shiro listened.

"Allura said fate brought us together and maybe she's right and as you said we came to Arendelle by accident or by fate and well sometimes life takes a lot away but it does give us something back."

"And what exactly is it giving me?" Shiro wondered.

"A second chance." Kieth said to him. "A second chance to be happy with the life we choose, or who we choose."

Shiro was rather bewildered this had to be the first time Kieth had been sincere since the day they met. He knew he'd been through a lot since Kerberos and he lost a lot even before then his partner didn't understand the risk he took. However Elsa did understand the risk he took to protect the people he loved. He did feel something towards Elsa like a kindred spirit but now it seemed there maybe something there that wasn't there before.

"I…I just don't know what to think." Shiro finally said. "But I…look until this threat of Ingrid and Lotor is quelled." Shiro then breathed out his ending sentence. "love isn't a luxury I can afford." Kieth understood why Shiro felt the way he did.

"Well its your decision." Kieth said as he stood up and took his leave from the room.

"Kieth." he turned to see Shiro. "Since when did you and me switch roles being the one with guidance?" He asked with a smile.

"I guess I learned from the best." Kieth smiled back in understanding as he left.

Shiro was still looking down in doubt about his feelings and he wasn't the only was now alone looking out at the stars as she was thinking about her own feelings and all thats been happening.

Many hours later:

Within a brownish yellow coloured nebular system, the Castle of Lions soon arrived at its destination which homed into view. The Balmera, a living planet that the Paladins had freed during what would've been week 1 of the campaign against the Galra.

Soon everyone was assembled on the bridge looking at the planet. "Wow so this is the Balmera." Olaf said in awe.

"Yep thats it little guy." Lance said to him.

"Hey guys." Kristof said remembering something. "I seemed to recall you saying something about how this planet was like alive?"

"Yeah it is Kristof." Hunk said to him. "See when me and Coran came here for a new crystal for the Castle of Lions and even after that we learned that this Balmera is not just a planet but a living being, same for the Balmerans themselves they have this sort of magical connection to the planet."

"Well technically it's a symbiotic relationship Hunk, but yes." Coran corrected. "You see long before the empire began Alteans would harvest crystals from a Balmera, but we would also give back in return performing an energy rejuvenation ceremony to heal it. However the Galra were just plucking the crystals with no concern for its health it was slowly killing it as the crystals were vital to its life-force of quintessence."

"So its like taking out the thing that gives us life." Elsa wondered.

"Yes but thankfully we freed the Balmera and healed it with Allura performing the ceremony." Hunk explained.

"Whoa I didn't know you could heal planets Allura?" Elsa said amazed.

"I can't really it's just the way the Balmera works, I performed the same ceremony that my father performed using the crystal we have here in the castle as a conduit." Allura explained. "However doing it on a planetary level took a lot out of me, I felt very weak."

"Oh thats right and you had to rest while the guys went on a scavenger hunt for a giant pearl to save Coran which was actually a training mission." Olaf said remembering the stories the Paladins had told him. Sven just looked at Lance and Kristof confused by that.

"I don't know either pal." Lance shrugged as did Kristof.

"Okay well we know from the keys the third one that leads to the eye is here." Kieth then said getting to the point.

"Don't tell me this involves digging." Kristof said.

"Oh no need Shay and the Balmerans can help us they know the planet better than anyone." Hunk explained. "That and we don't have that multi eyed Robeast to fight this time.

"Maybe not but we can't let down our guard, how many times have we been caught unaware so we need to be careful." Kieth told his team.

"Kieth is right, if Ingrid caught sight of what we're doing through her brief contact with Elsa it means she could be on the way here, but since the Galra can't produce wormholes it buys us some time." Shiro agreed. "As of now we're on high alert and be ready for the first signs of an attack."

"Agreed." Kieth said. "So we'll head down to the planet and find the third key, Pidge with the two keys with us will they lead us to it like before."

"Yeah it should." Pidge had said two keys in hand. "We know the first key pointed us to the second when we were close so the same should apply here." Pidge then interlocked the keys together and it floated upwards slightly. Then after a few minutes it blasted a beacon of light towards the Balmera itself on the starboard side of the planet.

"X marks the spot." Lance said.

"Okay, Kieth take the team and head down to the Balmera, Coran and I will stay in orbit and monitor things from here and alert you in case Lotor appears." Shiro told Kieth who nodded in agreement.

"Shiro we'll go down with them." Elsa said.

"Yeah besides I've always wanted to see what this place was like, who knows maybe they'll be like the trolls." Krsitof agreed and Sven snorted nodding in agreement.

"Yeah I want to meet the Balmerans." Olaf chirped.

"Okay just be careful." Shiro smiled to them and they joined the Palaidns on their station lifts to the Lions. He then took one more look towards Elsa. "Elsa."

She turned to him. "Be careful." Shiro said.

"Yeah you too." Elsa said a little cheerful as she went down with Kieth to the Black Lion.

The look the two shared didn't go unnoticed by the other Paladins. "Uh am I missing something?" Hunk asked Kristof.

"I'll tell you later." Kristof said to him as they headed to the Yellow Lion.

Outside the Castle of Lions, the Voltron Lions disembarked from their hangers in the spires and headed down towards the Balmera. On the bridge Shiro watched them head down to the planet before turning to Coran.

"Coran raise particle barrier and prepare castle defences for an all out assault. Expand the sensor range we need to be ready for anything." Shiro told the royal advisor who nodded with a serious expression as the Snow Queen and Galran prince had caught them off guard many times before.

Entering the atmosphere the lions then landed down on the ground soon greeted by a large group of Balmerans. One of them was Shay who looked rather eagerly at a certain Yellow Paladins and their companions now in their respective armours dismounted from their lions and went to meet the Balmerans. Hunk looked to see a certain Balmeran among them.

"Shay!" He greeted happily.

"Hunk it is so good to see you and your friends again." Shay greeted happily to Hunk as they shared a hug.

"Whos that?" Kristof asked.

"Oh thats Shay she's the first Balmeran that Hunk and Coran met when they arrived on the planet." Lance explained.

"Ah." Krsitof realised. "Hunks girlfriend?" He then whispered while smirking at the new Red Paladin.

"Oh yeah." Lance whispered smirking too.

Allura then stepped forward to greet the Balmerans. Shays Grandmother then comes up to meet her. "Princess it is so good to see you, and I see you have changed since last we met."

"Yes there have been a few changes, but I'm afraid we aren't here for a social visit." Allura explained. However before she could say more.

"Its okay Allura I got this." Said a voice and the Balmerans looked to see Olaf standing next to Allura. "Hi Balmerans I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs." He chirped and the Balmerans looked completely startled.

"What is that?" Rax (Shay's brother) asked.

"Oh he's a snowman, it's a thing we have on the planet we come from." Lance explained.

Shay approached the small snowman with curiosity and knelt down to him. "What a strange cute little thing you are." Shay said rather kindly.

"Aw thanks." Olaf chirped. Then Shays grandmother stepped forwards.

"But how is this possible?" Shay asked.

"Uh that would be my handiwork." Elsa stepped forwards to the Balmerans along with Kristof and Sven.

"My friends, this is Queen Elsa of Arendelle her Ice Master Kristof and this is Sven, they are good friends of ours from another universe."Allura explained to them. "Elsa was blessed with magical abilities of ice and snow."

Elsa smiled at how Allura addressed her. The Balmerans were surprised by the presence of a queen and instantly bowed before her. "Oh no no its fine you don't have to bow."

"I sensed a power within you when you arrived on our planet we are humbled to welcome you all, but how is it you come from another universe?" Shay asked.

"Well long story short during a battle with Zarkon we got blasted to their universe but now their here helping us." Pidge explained.

"Yeah because of the Snow Queen who arrived in Arendelle sometime ago who we later found out was Elsa and Anna's aunt oh did we mention Anna before she's Elsas sister but now she's gone missing because it turns out the Snow Queen also called Ingrid just wanted to drive Anna away so she could have Elsa to herself just because Ingrid couldn't have a family with their mom because of something called the Shattered Eye which turns people against each other. So now we're on a treasure hunt looking for these Altean keys to find the Eye and destroy it find Anna and save the universe!" Olaf cheered and everyone Balmerans included looked very shocked at how this small snowman explained the situation.

"Ah yes as Olaf said we're in search of a device that looks like these." Allura explained holding the two keys that were now separated. "The two directed us to your planet."

"Its important that we find it and fast it leads to something that could destroy the universe in the wrong hands." Keith agreed.

"The beacon from the keys pointed to starboard side of the planet." Pidge explained. "Since you guys know the planet better could you help us find it."

The Balmerans looked to each other for a moment and then looked to the Paladins and their allies. "Of course you helped us find our strength to stand up to the Galra Empire now we will help you."

"Thank you." Elsa thanked, with that Pidge reassembled the keys and the beacon that shone from them lead the way. Shay and her family accompanied the Paladins as they travelled across the planet in the Lions. They flew across the landscape of the Balmeran.

From the Yellow Lion Kristof couldn't help but look in awe at the crystals below. "Wow those look way bigger than the Crystals back home." Kristof said amazed.

"Yes the Balmera generates these life giving crystals when there are loads of them it's a sign our planet is healthy." Shay told him. "Have you seen many crystals like this where you are from?"

"Well yeah but their smaller and well its kinda complicated I was raised by a family of stone trolls who know a thing or two about magic especially Elsa's." Krsitof explained then something hit him. "Uh Shay I know this may seem a delicate subject but why were the Galra mining this planet? I mean Hunk explained most of it but how does it affect your home."

Shay sighed before she explained again. "Well during our enslavement by the empire the Galra would make our people harvest our world of the crystals to fuel their star ships without performing the energy rejuvenation ritual to heal it and it made our planet sick to the point of its near destruction."

"While in all that time all that many of us cared about was our own family units safety." Rax said in contempt on his own actions during their enslavement. "I wanted to protect our family so much that I even turned on Hunk as he and his friend attempted to escape with a crystal when we first met, but all that did was put our family in more jeopardy. But Hunk reminded us we could stand for what's right and in aiding the Paladins escape they took back our world."

"Hey I get it you were in a desperate situation, but I'm glad you helped the Paladins." But hey if you want to talk desperate you should talk to Anna, wanting to marry a guy she just met."

Shay and her brother looked rathe surprised. "Why would she do such a thing, even without knowing them first?" Shay asked.

"Its a long story plus it doesn't help when you're separated from her sister for so many years." Hunk explained. "But hey thats ancient history."

"You know this whole crystal regeneration thing reminds me of when me Anna and Elsa took Bluda's fire crystal to the mountains to regenerate it under the northern lights." Kristof explained.

"Really so your family has similar customs?" Shay asked.

"Kinda, it's a long story." Kristof explained to which Sven nodded in he could explain it.

"Guys heads up." Pidge called in on the coms.

From the Green Lions cockpit the united keys were projecting the beacon while Pidge flew the lion. "According to the brightness of the keys we're getting close." She looked to where the light was pointing. "It looks like its leading us to that large crater below."

"Thats an area the Galra couldn't get access to when they were forcing us to mine the crystals." Shay recalled.

"Some have said that area of the tunnels was haunted so our people didn't dare venture there." Shays father explained on the coms from the Blue Lion.

"Okay, then let's land and go on foot from there." Kieth said from the Black Lion and the lions descended down to the ground. From there the group disembarked and Shay's family lead the Paladins and their allies down to the tunnels below.

"Shiro, we may've found the third keys location we're heading down into the tunnels to take a look." Kieth relayed to Shiro in the castle. "Anything on your end?"

"Nothing yet on the sensors but keep in constant contact we can't take any chances." Shiro relayed.

"Understood." Kieth replied and so he and the Paladins headed into the tunnels. They were surrounded by the vibrant crystals in the tunnels.

Elsa couldn't help but admire the beauty of these crystals. "This place is so beautiful."

"Yeah its the crystals that help it to glow." Hunk explained. "Heh you should've seen how Coran nearly broke his back trying to get out that crystal we needed for the Castle." He then joked.

"Oh if only Anna could see this she'd love it." Elsa said but her mood changed to sadness even thinking about her missing sister. Shays grandmother then approached.

"You have great sadness in your heart dearie." She said to her in concern just then the crystals turned blue slightly making the tunnel lit up in a ruby blue colour. "The Balmera can sense your despair."

"Is it that obvious?" Elsa asked. "I..I'm sorry its just I can't stop thinking about my sister Anna, I don't know where she is or even if she's alive. Ingrid wants it to be just the two of us in her so called free world or universe of those who hate magic beings. Yet somehow I think she's already done that taunting me."

"It is okay to feel such things, our people lived in fear of the Galra for our pacifist nature and wanting nothing more than peace to our home." Shay's grandmother explained. "We like our planet are connected to each other I can see you and your sister share a special bond, one that not even this Snow Queen can break. Trust it and your feelings child."

Elsa smiled at those wise and kind words as she placed her hand where her heart was and listened to her feelings. This did brighten her up a bit.

"We're here." Pidge called and everyone looked ahead and saw a sight they couldn't believe. For before them lay a gigantic crystal surrounded by many crystals that glowed in luminance.

"Wooooow, its so beautiful." Olaf beams as he waddled over to look at the crystals.

"Whoa, if only Pabie and the trolls could see this." Kristof said in amazement.

"Yeah and you thought Elsa's ice palace was flawless." Sven said (Kristof imitating him.)

"Incredible." Elsa said amazed as Allura stood with her.

"Indeed." Allura agreed.

"Okay so where's the key?" Lance asked.

"Are we gonna need a hammer and chisel?" Kristof asked.

"No need for that, allow us." The Balmerans then stepped forward and touched the ground beneath them and it suddenly glowed bright.

"Huh what?" Elsa breathed.

"Keep watching guys you're gonna love this." Hunk explained to them.

So the group continued to watch and as they did the Balmerans focused their energies. Then the crystals began to respond the small ones closest to the largest one began to shrink, and then slowly but surely the largest crystal opened almost like a flower blooming and inside of it was that the Paladins had come to seek.

The third key, and it floated in the light of the crystal. "The final key." Allura gasped in amazement.

Meanwhile:

A distance away from the Balmera, Lotor's command ship was approaching the area. On the bridge they could see the Castle of Lions orbiting the Balmera.

"Oh look Altean Castle straight ahead boss." Ezor said to Prince Lotor who sat in his command chair.

"Looks like their defences are on alert." Axca noted.

"Hold our position, we cannot go any further without alerting them to our presence." Lotor ordered.

"What?" Ingrid questioned. "While we wait the Paladins get closer to what they want."

"To attack while our enemy is on alert would be foolish, remember Ingrid you are on my ship and respect my wishes." Lotor told her.

Ingrid was angered but then calmed herself as she looked out at the Castle of Lions. Then a smirk developed across her face. "Then perhaps we should try something they can't detect." This got everyones attention.

"With your blessing Prince Lotor, allow me to handle the Paladins, they couldn't detect my presence before and though my connection to my niece is weakened I can still sense where she is." The Snow Queen said. "They could detect your presence and that of your new weapon but allow me to deal with this personally."

The generals were weary they knew the Snow Queen was up to something by volunteering herself for this mission. Lotor contemplated this until finally he replied with his decision. "Very well, your creatures of Ice have proven to be a formidable opponent for Voltron so I shall allow you to handle this how the situation shall be dealt will also be your responsibility."

The generals were completely stunned by this decision. While the Snow Queen maintained her satisfied smirk. "Why thank you Prince Lotor." She curtsied in respect as she left the bridge.

Now they were alone the Generals could voice their thoughts with their leader. "What the heck was that?!" Zethrid exclaimed. "Why'd you let her go like that?"

"It is quite simple my dear Zethrid while I would welcome your ferocity I feel perhaps we should allow her to fight her own battles." Lotor explained to her. "And as I said why should we dispose of her when we can simply let the Paladins do the deed for us. With a little diversion as well."

The generals all looked with the same look and soon Zethrid smirked at what Lotor was suggesting and it was clear the Galra prince knew they got the idea. "Prepare the Sincline ship."

Just then the main hanger doors on the ship opened before the Snow Queen who concentrated her powers around her like a large flurry. Almost in an instant the flurry grew into a large tornado which span faster and faster until finally she blasted out of the hanger at top speed. The immense cold of space gathered around her and formed what looked like an ice meteor, blasting towards the Balmera.

Castle of Lions:

On the bridge, the Castles sensors started beeping which alerted Shiro and Coran. "What is it?" Shiro asked.

"Hm the castle sensors have picked up an unidentified object coming towards the Balmera." Coran reported.

"Is it a Galra ship?" Shiro asked wondering if this was Lotor's doing.

"Ah nope it's too fast for that, and too small could just be a stray meteor from a nearby cluster." Coran explained.

"Well keep a monitor on it and see if you can get a visual we can't leave anything to chance. The team must've found the key by now." Shiro recommended strongly as he wouldn't risk being caught out if this was one of the Snow Queens tricks.

The Balmera:

Back in the tunnels within the Balmera the Paladins and their Arendellian allies stood before the final key. "Man its like we're in a scene from Indiana Jones." Hunk breathed.

"Oh yeah I've seen that movie." Lance notioned.

"Which one?" Pidge wondered.

"Guys lets stay focused." Kieth told them.

Allura then proceeded to walk towards the large crystal that housed the key as she approached she couldn't help but be lost in the glow of the crystals but stayed focused on the key.

The Balmerans stood from the ground while Elsa, Kristof, Sven and Olaf watched as Allura drew closer and finally arrived at the large crystal. The key slowly descended in front of the Altean Princess. Allura extended her hand to grab the key but suddenly the moment her hand made contact with it she gasped in shock as her eyes glowed pure white and the key glowed immensely.

"Allura!" Lance exclaimed until Elsa stopped him.

"Lance stay back!" She told him as it didn't look like Allura was in any pain. Then suddenly she started floating in the air and looking like she was in some kind of trance.

"Should we do something?" Shay asked her grandmother.

"Fret not child I do not believe we should intervene." She floated there in her trance still holding the key in her hand.

Suddenly she found herself in a dark blue void she opened her eyes to see she was glowing in the aura of her Quintessence. She was confused as to where she was.

"Allura." Called a voice she turned around and she was shocked. For standing behind her was her father King Alfor in his royal Altean Armour.

"Father!?" Allura said in somewhat delight. "I is that really you?"

"Allura, if you are listening to this message it means you have learned of the dark secret of the Shattered Eye." Alluras mood was now saddened as this was simply a message from her father, but all the same it was a relief to see his face again.

"The Shattered Eye is a dangerous relic which in the wrong hands could destroy an entire planet, I saw first hands what corruptive might was given from its gaze many years ago in a dimension much different to our own and a kingdom named Arendelle. It was during the rule of Runeard that this relic was uncovered after the remnants of the Druul Empire attacked this peaceful land. I sought to make sure it could harm no one ever again." Allura listened to what her father was telling her much she knew already. "Seeking counsel from the stone trolls of that land I hid that accursed jewel in a far away place so it couldn't be used again…."

Castle of Lions:

"Its too slow for a Galra fighter and its too fast to be a Robeast Coffin." Coran pondered over the unidentified object they detected.

"Where are we on visuals Coran?" Shiro asked.

"Working on it we can't get a visual until it gets closer to us." Coran relayed just then the console lit up with an alert. "Hold on a tick, we might have something."

"On screen." Shiro said with urgency. The screen in front of them lit up and showed a visual on what was coming their way.

"What in the name of King Grogery is that?" Coran asked.

Shiro squinted his eyes to get a better look, he gasped and quickly headed to Keiths station to get a better look on its holo screen. What he saw he couldn't guess.

"Its a meteor." Shiro said.

"All this fuss over a meteor?" Coran said but then when he took a scan of the meteor his attitude suddenly changed. "Wait its emanating some strange energies its almost similar to….Oh no!"

Suddenly the ice meteor shot straight past the Castle of Lions. "Coran shoot it down! We need to alert the others!" Shiro castle defences fired lasers upon the meteor but it did minimal damage to the outer shell as it entered the atmosphere.

Meanwhile:

Allura had just heard the last of the story she'd heard from her father that Coran had told the Paladins on Olkarion. "It was a difficult decision to make, one that I always feared wouldn't stay forgotten. If you have found this key it means that Ingrid has returned and she seeks the Shattered Eye to finish what she started." Alfors message continued. "Once united together the three keys will point the way to where I sent the stone away when the war with Zarkon began.I tried so many times to destroy the eye to no avail, but perhaps you maybe able to succeed where I had failed. Allura there in lies our greatest hope, but there in lies our greatest fear the eye could corrupt even the most noble but I know what is in your heart. Now here I leave to you my final secret."

Allura listened intently as Alfor told her the last secret he had to tell in his message.

Back in reality, the light from the key suddenly died down and Allura groaned being released from its trance and collapsed to the ground. "Allura!" Lance exclaimed as he and Elsa ran over to her.

Allura groaned as she got on her knee still holding the key as Lance and Elsa came over and helped her to her feet.

"Are you okay?" Elsa asked.

"Y..yes I'm fine." Allura breathed.

"What was that? What happened?" Lance asked with concern as Allura felt her forehead.

"I….I had a message…from my father." Allura explained.

"What?" Kieth asked as he Kristof, Olaf and the other Paladins joined them on the crystal.

"When I touch the key it showed me a message from my father telling me about the Shattered Eye or what we already know at least." Allura explained to them.

Before any further questions could be asked. "Kieth, team come in!" Shiro's voice called on the coms.

"We're here Shiro, we've recovered the third key we're on our way up." Kieth replied.

"You better hurry, I don't have time to explain but you have incoming! Its powerful and its Ice magic!" Shiro called.

At that moment Elsa felt a slight headache and she knew what it meant. "She's here! Its Ingrid alright!"

"Everyone back to the lions now!" Kieth exclaimed.

Soon the Paladins and Balmeran's included had hurried to the surface and were greeted by a horrifying sight the ice asteroid had finally entered the Balmera's atmosphere and crashed into it with great might. The Balmerans could feel their planets pain as the ground suddenly turned cold.

The Lions quickly stood in front of them and their companions shielding them from the blast wave. Everyone looked up and saw a crystal white fog before them, and it seemed that a shadow emerged from the fog. The Paladins, Elsa, Krsitof and Sven all glared at the approaching figure while Olaf stayed close to Keith's leg.

For emerging from the fog was Ingrid who maintained an almost sadistic looking grin on her face as she glanced at her niece and her companions. "Oh little snowflake how I've missed you."

Elsa glared at her aunt. "I'm surprised with all your powers it took you this long to find us!" She said.

Ingrids eyes then set upon the relics in the Paladins possession. "Ah as much as I would love to play with you and your friends I don't have the time now hand over the relics and no harm will come to this planet."

"Your not getting these keys Ingrid and we know why you want them!" Allura defied. "You will never get the Shattered Eye, my father made sure of that! And now we will finish what he started!"

However all Ingrid could do was chuckle. "Noble but foolish just like your father. I intend to create a world where no one will fear magic kind again."

"By killing millions and calling it protection!" Kieth yelled.

"I believe we've said enough it looks like you've made your choice." Ingrid scowled.

Then she raised her hands as magic swirled in them and suddenly something from the fog emerged something very large looking and the Paladins and Balmerans eyes shrunk at the sight of this for it was another ice giant, the same one the Paladins had fought and bested before on Olkarion. However its shoulders were broader and wielded two axes in its hands attached to chains of ice.

"Oh no NOT THIS GUY AGAIN!" Hunk yelled.

"Shay lead your people to safety!" Allura exclaimed and so Shay lead her family and any other Balmerans into the tunnels away from the coming fight.

"Get to the Lions!" Kieth exclaimed and everyone hurried towards them.

"Olaf you stay here." Allura told the small snowman.

"What but I wanna help?" Olaf questioned.

"You are doing take the Balmerans into the tunnels, keep them safe and calm." Allura told him with a smile.

Olaf had a smile on his face at that. "Right away princess." He said as he waddled away following the Balmerans into the tunnels as but before Elsa could reach them a large wall of ice spikes cut her off from the others.

"Elsa!" Lance, Kristof and Allura cried. Elsa turned to see a smirking Ingrid holding her hand out being the obvious culprit.

"You guys go and stop that thing!" Elsa cried.

"But what about you?!" Pidge exclaimed.

"I'll be alright, besides I think it's time my aunt and I had an overdue conversation." Elsa said to them.

"You sure?" Kieth asked.

"I'll be just fine Kieth." Elsa told him and he could tell by the look in her eyes she meant it so he nodded in response and the Paladins entered their lions which roared in response.

The giant turned to its mistress. "Crush them!" She told him and the Ice Giant crossed his chained axes and fired a beam of cold towards the Lions which scattered to avoid being blasted. The beam hit the Balmera's surface freezing it.

"No the Balmera we can't let it hurt it!" Hunk exclaimed with worry.

"We've gotta draw its fire!" Kieth exclaimed from the Black Lion. "Lance, Pidge I need you to keep it distracted, Allura you and I are gonna attack from above Hunk get ready to attack!"

"We're on it team leader!" Lance exclaimed.

The Red and Green Lions flew in from below and attacked with energy blasts from their jaws. Red blasted it from the right but it twirled its axe blocking the blast Green swooped in forming its jaw blade and slice at its back causing it to kneel. This left it open to attack from the Black Lion who leaped and landed on its back biting its shoulder. Allura in the Blue Lion ran along the surface and leaped onto the Ice giants front and pushed it back. however the giants eyes glowed bright and a giant blast catapulted the two lions off of its body.

"Hang on Kristof you too Sven!" Hunk exclaimed.

"No need to tell us!" Kristof exclaimed as Hunk thrusted the control sticks forwards and the Yellow Lion rammed it straight in the Ice Giants back, knocking it off balance. Yellow flew away only for the giant to grab its tail and swung it straight into a mountain.

"Gah!"Hunk and Kristoff cried while Sven grunted trying to stand up from that.

Ingrid saw the battle from her standing point. "Pathetic Paladins, you're soon about to learn that your lions aren't the only thing that can take to the sky."

The Ice Giants eyes suddenly glowed white as emerging from its back were giant wings of ice they flapped and to the Paladins, and Elsa's shock it took flight after the Lions.

"Thats new!" Lance exclaimed.

"Kieth what's going on down there!" Shiro called in on the coms.

"Its Ingrid she's made a new Ice Giant like the one we faced on Olkarion, and this one can fly!" Kieth exclaimed.

"You need to draw it away from the Balmera its in danger of collateral damage." Shiro told him from the Castle of Lions. "You're gonna have to lead it into orbit and fight it in the open."

"So the Balmera's out of the firing line and we'll have a more open space to fight." Kieth realised. "We're on it." He then contacted the other Paladins. "Guys listen we've got to get this thing away from the Balmera if it has wings lets see if it can use them! We'll lure it into space, form Voltron and bring it down!"

"Right!" The Paladins replied.

"First we gotta get its attention." Kieth then said.

"One attention getter coming up!" Lance smirked as the Red Lion turned to face the Ice Giant forming its Rail gun on its back and fired it hitting the beast in the chest which slowly healed but it growled as it flew after the Red Lion. "Attention got!" Lance grimaced.

The Lions flew up into the sky with the Ice Giant close behind them leaving Ingrid on the planet with Elsa but not before her eyes glowed white. "Keep the Black Lion away from the others they will be powerless without their alpha." She said to herself.

Her attention was directed to her niece. "Well little snowflake looks like your so called family isn't here to protect you. They abandoned you just as I said they would."

"I'm done playing your games Ingrid!" Elsa exclaimed to her. "You couldn't turn me against Anna and you won't turn me against them! Thats right I remember, I remember everything!"

Ingrids eyes widened but none the less maintained her smirk. "Then you know I am your real family Elsa and soon we will be one again without anyone hating or fearing us."

"You had a family once but you chose to let your fears get in the way and left yourself venerable to the eyes influence. And you think killing millions of innocent people with hate will change that!" Elsa argued.

"No one is innocent they just haven't had the chance to ridicule us yet! Think back to when you were driven out of Arendelle because you feared what those who hate our kind would do to you." Ingrid argued.

Elsa had taken in those words, but she stood her ground. "Yes I did flee from Arendelle, but it was to protect those I love. You left because you felt you were being abandoned by my mother even when she was trying to help you, you were afraid." Her expression then became serious. "But unlike you I've made peace with my past and embrace my powers and those I love but you, you've just let your past and mistakes justify your madness!"

Ingrids face just turned to anger as her niece spoke to her this way. "Not madness truth! people fear us drive us away and now we have a chance to end it!"

"With death these people have done nothing to you and I won't let you kill these innocent people!" Elsa exclaimed.

"You don't know what your saying, but if you choose to interfere you will regret it!" Ingrid suddenly growled.

Without another word Elsa used her powers to form her Ice Bayard which transforms into a spear twirling it and stood ready to fight. Ingrid closed her eyes then formed on her hands blades of ice. "So be it." She breathed and she slashed her arms unleashing sharp icicles towards Elsa she dodged to the left and twirled her staff to deflect the incoming shards. The two then charged and clashed their weapons.

Far below as the battle raged The Balmerans remained hidden, while Olaf sat with them. The small snowman could see they were afraid, so he decided to try and keep them calm.

"Hey Balmerans its okay, there's no need to be scared. I know my friends the Palaidns and Elsa will save your world!" Olaf said trying to perk them up.

"You must be very hopeful little one, so many times we thought we were free from Zarkon, but even in death his beasts still plague us." One Balmeran said.

"Hey its okay to be afraid but we must also remember to never give up hope." Olaf said to them.

"But how can you be so hopeful even now?" Another Balmeran said.

"Because I know things will be okay even when it looks like it isn't." Olaf said to them and the Balmerans including Shay and her family couldn't help but be in awe. "Let me tell you a story of two sisters."

Outside in the battle the Lions of Voltron had reached orbit with the Ice Giant right behind them and they face each other in a stand off.

"Alright guys now the Balmera's out of the crossfire its time to form…" Suddenly before Kieth could finish the Ice Giant unleashed a blast of ice right at the Black Lion blasting it away from the rest of the pride.

"Kieth!" Lance explained and the Ice Giant swung its axe and swatted Black further away from them Then turned its attention to the other lions. Ice had gathered on the lions legs, Kieth moved his control sticks and managed to break the ice off him. He looks to see the Ice Giant attacking the other lions. The Yellow Lion charges only for the giant to swing its axes and swat the lion away sending it crashing into the Red Lion.

"Hang on guys I'm on the way!" Keith exclaimed but before the Black Lion could rejoin them, another energy blast struck the lion in the side causing him to growl, he looked to see his attacker, it was the Syncline ship piloted by Zethrid and Axca. Zethrid had a sadistic grin on her face.

"Keep the Black Lion at bay while Ingrids giant deals with the other lions." Lotor called on the com line.

"Oh ho I've been waiting for this!" Zethrid grinned as she thrusted the control sticks forwards blasting the ship towards the Black Lion.

"I'm so not in the mood for this!" Kieth growled as he swiftly moved the lion away from the incoming laser blast attack.

The other Paladins narrowly avoided another attack from the Ice Giant. "Where's Kieth we need Voltron!" Hunk exclaimed.

"Look!" Kristof pointed out and they saw the Syncline ship was attacking Black.

"Its that comet ship again!" Pidge exclaimed.

"Its trying to keep Kieth from reaching us so we can't form Voltron!" Kristof exclaimed. "I gotta give this Lotor guy credit he's much smarter than Zarkon was attacking you guys when your at your most venerable and separate Black, thats tactics!"

"Indeed its seems Lotor is a master strategist and so is Ingrid this must be why the beast attacked Kieth first!" Allura realised from the Blue Lion.

"Then we'll just have to do what we can!" Lance exclaimed from Red. The Ice Giant swung its weapons at the Lions which quickly scattered to dodge its attack, The Green Lion swiftly formed its vine cannon and fired at the beasts back. Almost immediately vines grew from behind it and grabbed its two arms.

"Hunk! Allura get him now!" Pidge exclaimed.

"Hang on Kirstof! You too Sven!" Hunk exclaimed. The two lions flew in and formed their jaw blades and with one SLASH! The chains on its weapons were completely severed.

"Ha try swinging at us now!" Hunk exclaimed with joy, however Sven let out an alert as Kristof looked at what he was so panicked about.

"Uh Hunk you might want to look again!" He pointed out.

Much to the Palaidns horror ice magic emerged from its arms grabbed its severed weapons and retracted them back to it and after an explosion of ice spikes it created new chains.

"AW COME ON!" Hunk exclaimed.

"SCATTER!" Lance exclaimed as the beast crossed its axes again and unleashed a blast towards the Lions which quickly scattered to avoid it.

On the Balmera two ice blades clashed on an ice staff made by the two ice and snow powered queens. They pushed away from each other and Ingrid stomped on the ground causing the ground to freeze, and skated towards Elsa and fired an ice blast from her spiked hand. Elsa quickly made skates on her feet, skated along the ice and leaped over her like an olympic skater then she swung her ice staff and struck her in the back.

Ingrid unleashed an ice blast at her niece but Elsa erected an ice wall in front of her blocking the blast.

"Hah you've improved someones been learning." Ingrid smirked impressed.

"More like relearning with my friends help!" Elsa exclaimed and deflected another blast with her staff.

Ingrid slashed her ice blades on her hands and the two clashed again. "Yet they keep you from your true potential! Because they are afraid of you just as your mother was afraid of me!"

"Your wrong!" Elsa exclaimed. "All mother wanted to do was help you but you wouldn't let her and gave into your fear!"

"So she decided to let Alfor seal me away out of spite!" Ingrid yelled as she slashed her blades at Elsa who blocked them with an ice shield.

"You brought that on yourself! When you let that eye consume you!" Elsa explained as she unleashed a blast of ice as did Ingrid and the two clashed and suddenly the ground beneath their feet froze and ice spikes began rising from the Balmera.

It was chaos between Elsa and Ingrids battle on the ground to a divide and conquer attack from the Ice Giant and The Sincline ship keeping the lions separated so they can't form Voltron and fight back.

Shiro and Coran watched this from the Castle of Lions. Shiro looked to see the Black Lion was still trying to out fly the Sincline ship. "Kieth you need to break away the team need your help!"

"I'm trying but this ships not giving me much breathing room." Kieth grunted just narrowly avoided another blast from the Sincline ship.

"Hold on Kieth we're coming!" Coran suggested.

"No the ships too powerful to fight with the Castle defences!" Kieth protested.

"Hes right, the ships defences wouldn't hold." Shiro agreed but looked to see the rest of the team losing ground against the Ice giant. "Kieth the teams losing ground you need to reach them and form Voltron!"

Kieth knew this could be another chance to stop this Syncline ship, but he knew that securing the final key and protecting the Balmera came first. He knew the ship was just as fast and powerful as the lions. Its main focus was on him. He took a breath and focused and he noticed how powerful the Giants ice blast was nearly hitting the Red Lion which fought back with its own fire blast which did wound it slightly. He also remembered how the Black Lion was nearly trapped in ice by said blast. In that moment he had a plan.

"Coran how powerful are the deflectors on the castles shields?" Kieth then asked.

"They're powerful enough to deflect any blast but not that Syncline ships if thats what your thinking!" Coran relayed.

"Its not the Sincline ships blast you need to deflect." Kieth explained on the coms. Much to Shiro and Coran's confusion. "I know this is gonna sound crazy but you've got to get that Ice Giants attention onto you so it will fire a blast at you!"

"What?!" Coran exclaimed.

"Kieth the castle could freeze from that attack!" Shiro agreed.

"Not if you angle the deflector towards me." Kieth continued. "If I can get that comet ship close enough I'll dodge the blast and it'll freeze it long enough for me to break away and join the others!"

"Kieth are you sure?" Shiro asked as he had some concerns about Kieth's radical plan.

"Trust me Shiro." Kieth told him, and Shiro could see he meant it, and so he took on a determined smirk.

"Okay Kieth let's do it!" Shiro said.

The other Lions were blasted away by another blast from the Ice Giant they stood ready to attack. "Team you need to fall back we're coming in to attack." Shiro called in.

"What? Shiro the castle won't be able to withstand this giants attacks?!" Allura exclaimed.

"Guys do what Shiro says we have a plan!" Kieth called in on the coms.

Hearing that from Kieth while the team wondered what the plan was, but there was no time for explanations. "Okay guys fall back!" Lance called.

The Lions quickly retreated from the Ice Giant, and then the Castle of Lions swooped in and fired a concentrated blast onto its target. The beast took the full hit of the blast and when it stoped it formed a massive hole in its chest which quickly regenerated from the cold in space. Its gaze then turned on the Castle of Lions.

Shiro and Coran stood ready when they saw the giant looking dead at them. The Ice Giant crossed his axes charging up a blast. Meanwhile the Black Lion dodged another blast from the Syncline ship which weaved around following the lion in a dog fight in space. Zethrid fired blast after blast determined to hit her target.

Just then Black slowed down. "Thats it come in close." Kieth said to himself quietly.

Suddenly the Ice Giant unleashed another powerful blast towards the Castle of Lions, just as Kieth predicted. "NOW CORAN!" Shiro exclaimed. Coran quickly diverted the deflectors on the Particle Barrier and the Ice blast bounced off the barrier.

Kieth looked and saw it coming. Zethrid however had locked onto the Black Lion. "Now we've got you!" She said sadistically.

However Axca could see different. "Zethrid no fall back!" She exclaimed.

"Oh no I'm not letting them go this time!" Zethrid disagreed and thrusted the control sticks forwards but just before she could open fire. Kieth pulled the flight sticks back and the Black Lion back flipped over the Syncline ship and it was blasted by the deflected ice beam. The two generals inside growled as the beam froze the ships sides.

The Sincline ship was completely frozen in ice on its engines and sides. Zethrid tried to move the ship with the control sticks but there was no response. Kieth took the opportunity and fired up the Black Lions wing jets straight towards the Paladins.

"Alright now it's our turn guys!" Kieth exclaimed to his team before he said the word they were all waiting for.

"FORM VOLTRON!"

Within seconds the Lions came together and started assembling/dissasembling into their component parts Green and Red formed the arms and body, with Yellow and Blue forming the feet and legs. Finally with Black forming the head. Voltron was formed and the Ice Giant turned to face its opponent.

Far below within the tunnels of the Balmera, Olaf told a captive audience of Balmerans the story of Elsa and Anna how they were separated at a young age and the whole story of the eternal winter. Surprisingly he practically described the story to the last detail even acting out some of the scenes. Brax was strangely following the story and some Balmerans were shocked at the twist where prince charming was a villain. Some even got emotional about how Anna nearly froze into an ice statue.

"Then Elsa thawed the eternal winter and the gates were open wide, and they were never closing them again. Anna and Elsa were together again and everyone was happy, then the Paladins came to our world fought off Zarkon and well here we are now!"

The Balmerans were awestruck by this story. "That is quite the tale young one." Shay's grandmother said clapping her hands. "Shows that even in the darkest times hope can still shine, just as the Paladins and Princess Allura made the hope shine in our hearts again."

"Yeah, and I'll admit its been scary at times even when Anna was freezing when I found her alone." Olaf admitted. "And I've been scared a lot with everything thats happening now. But I still believe that everything will turn out okay, even with Ingrid trying to drive Anna and Elsa apart but I knew they would stick together, no matter how far apart they are. You just need to believe."

The Balmerans seemed amazed by this speech. Then a spark shone in Shay. "He's right. The Paladins have saved our home countless times and inspired us to never lose hope and now we must try and help them!"

One by one the Balmerans stood up in agreement with Shays statement and Olaf looked amazed. "But what can we do? We can't fight this Snow Queen?" One Balmeran asked.

"Your right there's nothing we can do." Shays grandmother said. "But there's a lot our planet can do!" She smiled. One by one the Balmerans knelt on the ground and concentrated and Olaf mirrored their actions even though he wasn't a Balmeran. The ground glowed and it looked like it was sending a message to the other Balmerans on the planet.

In space The Ice Giant fired an Ice Blast towards Voltron who quickly blocked it with his shield and ice formed on it. "Time to go on the offensive! Hunk FORM CANNON!"

Hunk instantly inserted his Bayard into the open port, the shield retracted and the shoulder cannon appeared. The cannon fired on the Ice Giant but it span its axes blocking the blast.

Kieth knew that blast wasn't going to cut it so they tried something else. "FORM SWORD!" He inserted his Bayard into the open port and Voltron formed his sword and was ready to attack when suddenly an energy blast hit him in the back shocking the Paladins. Voltron turned round and saw the Syncline ship was speeding towards him.

"Don't these guys ever quit!?" Kristof exclaimed.

"Uh guys old frosty coming back for another round!" Pidge exclaimed they saw the Ice Giant was coming towards them, they were between two opponents.

"Keith what do we do, we can't fight them both at once!" Lance exclaimed. Kieth tried to think of something. Just as the Ice giant was about to attack a massive plume of laser fire hit it and they saw it was the Castle of Lions flying to the rescue.

"CORAN ATTACK!" Coran yelled.

"Its okay Kieth we've got your back!" Shiro told them.

"Thanks Shiro." Kieth called then looked to the approaching Sincline ship. "Okay guys time to divide and conquer. You guys use Lion head attack to distract the Syncline ship I'll take the Ice Giant in the main body, then we'll regroup and take them down."

"Right!" Everyone replied.

"We'll provide cover fire from here!" Shiro agreed.

Hunk, Pidge, Lance and Allura all inserted their Bayards and their respective Lion heads detached from Voltron and rocketed towards the Syncline ship which started firing on the Paladins but with their piloting skills they rolled and dodged the blasts.

"Okay lets see how good this ships aim is!" Lance smirked and the lion heads fired on the ship at different positions. Red and Blue fired from the right and above, while Green attacked from the left before Zethrid could return fire, then Yellow attacked it from below.

The Ice Monster swung its ice axe at Voltron who quickly dodged it and landed a solid right hook straight into its jaw cracking it like the ice it was made from. The Ice Giant was flung back but then tossed the axes off his chains like boomerangs, Kieth swiftly moved Voltron back to avoid them only for the blades to change direction and head straight for him.

"KIETH BEHIND YOU!" Allura yelled, but it was too late before Kieth could act the blades hit Voltron in the back knocking him off balance and the Ice Giant rammed into his gut like a bull sending Voltron flying.

The Lion heads were also struggling, as the Syncline ship flew upwards to avoid another blast from Red and Green. It flipped in the air and did a barrel roll to dodge incoming laser blasts from the other two lions. Then it unleashed a powerful blast right as Blue's head was passing by it just clipped its rear.

"Kieth these guys are getting smarter!"Pidge exclaimed.

"I know your right everyone regroup!" Kieth ordered and the lion heads returned to Voltron and stood ready against his two opponents.

"This isn't working we can't fight on two fronts!" Hunk yelled.

"You won't have to!" Shiro called and then the castle came flying in and fired upon the two antagonists The Syncline ship and Ice Giant dodged the attacks The Ice Giant fired a blast of ice towards the ship but all it did was freeze the outside of the shield and the Castle fired back but the Ice Giant blocked the blast which kept the castle focused on him while the Syncline ship fired upon the Altean ship and it broke a section off the particle barrier.

This rocked Shiro and Coran inside. "Shiro Coran, fall back the castle defences can't hold up to that ship!"

"But you guys need help!" Coran argued.

"No he's right Coran that ships weapons are too powerful for the Castle defenses! Fall back" Allura called.

"We're not leaving you!" Shiro exclaimed.

"Your not but you need to keep out of that ships targeting sight we may need help later!" Kieth replied.

"Understood!" Shiro called and so the Castle fell back leaving Voltron to fight the two opponents.

"Now what?" Lance asked.

"Good question." Kieth said wondering how they were gonna fight these two powerful foes.

Far below the battle between Ingrid and Elsa continued, The Snow Queen formed several sharp icicles around her and fired them at Elsa. Elsa quickly dodged to the right and formed a shield of ice around her to protect her from the incoming spikes. She stayed hidden behind the ice wall.

"Here I thought you'd gotten rid of your fear Elsa!" Ingrid scoffed as she moved closer towards her ice wall. "Yet now you hide than embrace your fate! Your destiny!"

From the Castle of Lions, Shiro looked at the monitor and what was happening on the Balmera between Elsa and her aunt. He realised he couldn't just sit there and do nothing.

"Elsa needs help!" Shiro said. "I'm going down there!"

"What Shiro no!" Coran exclaimed.

"Someone needs to be down there to back her up." Shiro told him.

"Wait Shiro your going down there!" Kieth called in having heard everything. "Those two would tear your pod apart!"

"Thats why you guys need to keep the creature and comet ship distracted and give me an opening." Shiro told them.

Voltron turned to the two opponents and out of nowhere formed his shoulder cannon and fired rapid blasts towards the Ice Giant and Syncline ship. While the Syncline Ship avoided the blasts the Ice Giant took the brunt of them hitting him over and over again. The Syncline ship fired on Voltron. Only for him to quickly form his shield and block the full brunt of the blast.

In the Castle, Shiro now in his Black Paladin armour hurried to the airlock where an Altean exploration vehicle was ready, similar to what Allura used to get down to the Balmera.

"Shiro we have their attention if you're making move nows the time to do it!" Kieth called on the coms.

"Okay Kieth I'll call when I'm down just keep them off me!" Shiro said.

"Rodger, oh and Shiro good luck!" Kieth called to him, and Shiro smiled knowing he had his back. A few seconds the alert siren sounded and the airlock opened sucking Shiro and the ship out. Shiro held the glider in front of him and blasted down towards the Balmera. It seemed for the moment the Syncline ship or Ice giant didn't pay any attention to him.

Meanwhile Elsa tried to think of a plan to retaliate but she knew Ingrid was more powerful with the use of her powers. She was outmatched, but then she remembered what Kieth had told her from his story of how he met Shiro, and what he said during their first fight with the comet ship. So she took a deep breath, closed her eyes and concentrated.

"Patience, yields focus." She whispered and placed her hand on the ground snd though she didn't see it the ground glowed beneath her palm. Suddenly she sensed the footsteps coming towards her, and then opened her eyes.

Suddenly beneath Ingrids feet some ice spikes emerged in front of her nearly cutting her face but then she found she couldn't move. She looked to her hand and saw it was encased in ice out of the ground.

"I'm done hiding Ingrid!" She looked to see Elsa emerging from the ice wall. "I'm not bound to your fate we may share the same powers, but I'm not you!" Elsa said to her. "My sister taught me to love and embrace those around me, my friends taught me to be strong! I won't let you tear apart anymore families or destroy lives!"

"I only want to be happy with my family!" Ingrid exclaimed as she blasted herself free from her ice captivation.

"You had that chance but you threw it away, Anna wanted to love you but you would know that if you took an interest in her but in truth Anna means nothing to you without powers but I love her for who she is I am going to find her and you are not going to stop me!"

Ingrid scowled but looked up to the flashing lights above as she saw the conflict between Voltron, her Ice Giant and the Sincline ship. "Oh but what good is your so called new found strength if you can't even save those you think are your family!" Ingrid smirked.

Elsa could see the Paladins needed help, and somehow somewhere deep inside her she felt her magic surge and looked to her hand as if it was ready to be unleashed.

"Your right about one thing, its time I stop holding back and share my strength with those I love!" Elsa then surged her hand in the air and white ice magic shot from her hands and into the sky. Much to Ingrid's shock.

The ice blast soared and then divided into four. Voltron was blasted back by the Syncline ships blast causing his shield to disassemble and return to his back. "Kieth this isn't working!" Kristof exclaimed.

"One has got agility, speed and weapons galore and the other is a juggernaught with a nasty blast and axes!" Hunk exclaimed.

However at that moment the four ice blasts suddenly hit Voltron in the Yellow, Red and Blue Lion components. The ice hit their Paladins right legs and the glow got their attention.

"Huh?" Lance asked as he formed his Bayard, but then what looked like ice sparkles formed around the top of the Bayard and it seemed to make a curved extension similar to what Zarkon's Bayard would've looked like only less spikes and made of ice.

"Uh guys somethings just happened to my Bayard?" Lance said. He wasn't the only one.

"Yeah mine too." Hunk said seeing his own Bayard had taken the same form. Kristof and Sven were taken by surprise too.

"Same with mine, it kinda looks like ice." Pidge looked.

"But how?" Kieth asked. In the Blue Lion it hit Allura.

"Elsa!" She breathed.

"Thats right she must've done this but..but how?" Kristof asked while Sven looked with a confused expression.

There was more to come for then Hunk, Lance and Pidge's Bayard ports opened like the lions were telling them something.

"Guys I think I know what to do!" Lance exclaimed.

"Then do it!" Kieth exclaimed.

The three Paladin's inserted their Bayards and activated this new power. Then suddenly a light shone from Voltrons Lion hands and emerging from them looked like two metal wreaking balls on energy chains.

"Whoa! Wrecking balls!" Hunk exclaimed. However then emerging from the balls were spikes of ice mixed with the ore Voltron was made from. "Make that Ice wreaking maces!"

Zethrid and Axca were surprised by this new development but it wasn't going to stop them. The Syncline ship and Ice Giant fired their respective beams towards Voltron.

Voltron thrusted his hands forwards and spun his maces at a fast rate so fast the reflection on the ice spikes deflected the two powerful beams right back at their opponents the Ice beam hit the Syncline ship while the laser blasted the Ice giant in the right arm blasting it clean off only for it to heal.

"Whoa!" Lance exclaimed.

"Okay now we have something to fight with!" Kieth smirked taking advantage of this new power. "Lets see what it can do!" Voltron now armed with his Ice Wreaking Maces charged at his opponents.

Ingrid couldn't believe what she'd just seen through her creations eyes then looked to her niece. "How..this this impossible this shouldn't be possible how can you share your power with Voltron!"

"Because like a lions bond with its Paladin we all look out and trust each other, and we're a team we never give up!" Elsa told her.

"Yet your here all alone." Ingrid smirked readying her powers. Then suddenly she saw something coming down and the sunlight blinded her. Suddenly Shiro came into view with his prosthetic hand charged up and slashed at Ingrid forcing her back. Only to received a jab from Elsa's ice staff straight to her ribs knocking her back.

Elsa looked to Shiro who gave her a confident smile and she smiled back knowing he had her back, and had come to her in her time of need.

She looked up to see the stranger clad in Black Paladin armour and knew who this could be. "Ah so this is the Paladin you can't stop talking about Elsa." She said getting up. "Just like your regular knight in shining armour coming to save the love of his life."

The two then looked akwardly at each other and blushed. "Enough talk Ingrid! This ends now!" Elsa exclaimed.

"Right what she said!" Shiro snapped out of it as the two stood ready to fight. Ingrid smirked and formed spears of ice around her and shot them towards the two of them. Elsa formed her ice staff and twirled it to block the incoming spears while Shiro energised his hand and sliced through them like butter, but then grabbed one in his free hand then threw it back at Ingrid who dodged it as it narrowly slice of a single hair.

She looked shocked. "If Elsa and Anna told you about me! Then you'd know I actually honed my skills when I was captive in Zarkon's arena!"

Ingrid responded to that by surging ice spikes in the ground towards him, only for an ice wall to emerge in front of him. Shiro saw Elsa with her hand out and the two smiled at each other.

"Maybe we should even the odds." Elsa twirled her hands and some ice magic surged from them and around Shiro's Protshetic hand forming a sword above it.

"Nice." Shiro said amazed.

"Well its like you say if we work together we win together." Elsa told him and so the two charged at Ingrid.

Voltron spun his maces around and around deflecting the incoming ice blasts then swung his right mace at the Ice Giant slashing it across the chest. Then suddenly the Syncline Ship fired on Voltron only to swift zoom to the side, dodging its charging attack.

"Okay guys listen up if we're gonna take down these two we gotta level the playing field, hold position and get ready to move!" Kieth said.

"Okay Kieth we trust you." Allura told him.

The Sincline ship zoomed round and charged back towards Voltron charging its energy beam. "Zethrid this isn't working we have to fall back and regroup with Lotor." Axca insisted.

"No way!" Zethrid denied. "I've been waiting to go one on one with Voltron and I'm not gonna lose it now!" So she thrusted the control sticks forwards and charged towards Voltron.

Kieth saw the ship coming towards them, but he kept his cool and timed it carefully. "Wait…" Kieth told the team. Each and every one of the Paladins stood ready to act.

The ship got closer and closer with every passing second. "Wait…" Kieth said and just as the ship built up speed and energised its cannon.

"Now!" Kieth yelled and the Paladins thrusted their control sticks back slipping Voltron to the side dodging the Syncline ship. "Lance swing your mace and arm out!"

Lance shifted his flight sticks swinging his lions mace and extended the chain towards the Syncline ship and it latched onto one of its sides.

"Care to take'em for a spin Kieth?" Lance asked with a knowing smirk.

"Good idea!" Kieth agreed and with one yank Voltron pulled the Syncline ship back and swung it round and round until finally releasing it from its grip sending the ship flying out of control.

"Good work guys now we take care of the Ice Giant!" Kieth then said and Voltron turned to the Ice Giant crossing its axes firing the ice blast towards him. Voltron swings his ice maces and deflects the ice beam back at the Beast. Then with one swing of the Green Lion arm it released ice spikes from the mace which struck the Ice Giant in the shoulder and legs.

Voltron charged forwards and struck the Ice giant with its maces right at the side before spinning the right mace and striking it square in the head. Forcing it back, Voltron swung the two maces above him and the Paladins yelled striking the Ice giant in the arms cutting off the chained axes.

"YEEEHAWWW!" Kristof yelled from the Yellow Lion. "Now thats how you wreak it!"

"Man keep it cool Kristof this isn't Game of Thrones." Hunk told him calmly.

"Spectacular." Pidge agreed. "Now let's finish this!"

Without needing to be told Kieth knew what to do. "FORM BLAZING SWORD!" He inserted his Bayard. The maces disappeared and Voltron formed his signature weapon which was blazing in flames.

The Defender of the Universe then charged towards the ice giant at top speed and slashed its burning blade right through the Ice Giant. Seconds later the giant was split in half and exploded into snow dust.

"YEAH!" The Paladins cheered.

"Excellent work everyone!" Allura cheered.

"There's nothing like a blazing slice for breaking the ice!" Lance quipped. "Hey I'm a poet and I didn't even know it.

"Thats how it's done!" Kristof cheered and Sven licked his face as they triumphed.

"RIGHT ON!" Coran cheered from the Castle of Lions.

Voltron turned and saw that the Syncline ship had returned but just hovered in place. Zethrid scowled at him from the cockpit.

Just then. "Zethrid, Axca disengage and return to the ship." Lotor called in.

Zethrid growled at that order to retreat and glared at Voltron. "Don't think this is over!"

The Syncline ship then turned and blasted away from the Balmera. "They're getting away, should we go after them?" Pidge asked.

"We'll have to let them go, right now we have bigger problems." Kieth said to the team.

"Shiro and Elsa are still on the Balmera with Ingrid." Allura agreed.

"Then lets go help them!" Krsitof also agreed.

Back on the Balmera Ingrids Ice blade clashed with Shiro's energised hand melting the ice like nothing he kicked her back and ducked allowing Elsa to flip over him and slash her Ice staff firing ice spikes which Ingrid just turned to snow with the flick of her hand. She suddenly heard a loud boom and looked up to the sky to see that the Ice giant had been destroyed by a bright light.

Shiro and Elsa knew what that was. "Looks like Voltron just took care of your giant ice man. I guess your magic wasn't as powerful as you thought." Elsa said.

"You might as well give up Ingrid, Lotor's not here to help you now. Surrender." Shiro told her.

However Ingrid still maintained her sadistic smile. "Oh your boyfriend is so delusional Elsa." Elsa's face went redder at that remark as did Shiro's out of shock. "I don't need to rely on Lotor or my beasts alone!" Her hands began to swirl with ice magic Shiro and Elsa stood ready for anything.

What happened next, not even Ingrid could have foreseen. For suddenly she felt she couldn't move. She looked too see the bottom of her dress was encased in crystals and were growing all over her. Even Elsa was amazed, but then remembered the stories Hunk had told her and Anna about the Balmera.

"I guess there's something you don't know about this planet." Shiro told her. "This planet is a Balmera, and its more than a planet it's a living creature."

"And something tells me it doesn't like having you here Aunt Ingrid, especially after you froze most of it!" Elsa smiled confidently.

Ingrid tried to break free but the crystals grew faster and faster encasing every part of her body. "No! You can't!" Ingrid exclaimed but she was encased in crystal up to her neck so only her head was exposed she was trapped and couldn't move. "You think you've won! You have won nothing you won't keep me from what is mine. I will..."

Suddenly Ingrid was knocked out, compliments of a right hook performed by to Shiro's surprise. "Oh how I've been waiting to do that." Elsa breathed happily.

"Well looks like Anna's not the only one with a nasty right hook." Shiro chuckled.

Voltron then landed behind Elsa and Shiro, looking down on the confined Snow Queen. The Balmerans then came out of hiding with Olaf leading them.

"Hey guys did we get her?" Olaf asked. Shiro and Elsa couldn't help but smile with pride at the little snowman. Elsa then turned to Shiro.

"Shiro…thanks for coming to back me up." Elsa said to him smiling.

"Thats what we do in a team, we look out for each other." Shiro then smiled warmly. "Besides you know I'll always have your back."

Elsa then suddenly blushed at that warm smile and smiled in response. "Excuse me." They turned to see Shay standing behind them.

"The way you two look at each other, are you..mated?" Shay asked and that question caused the two to blush even redder then before.

"What?!" They exclaimed.

"N..no she's not I mean I'm not!" Shiro stuttered.

"I…its uh complicated." Elsa stuttered as well.

"Wait are you guys in love when did this happen?!" Olaf asked. With the two even more embarrassed then before while in the Black Lion all Kieth could do was shake his head smiling, just how does his brother get into these things?

Hours later with the embarrassment aside the lions were disassembled and stood before the Castle of Lions that had now landed on the planet. The heroes were bidding their goodbyes to the Balmerans.

"Thank you for helping us procure the key, it may just help us end a threat before it can begin." Allura told them.

"Not to mention how you helped us capture Ingrid." Elsa agreed.

"It wasn't just all our doing your majesty." Brax explained. "Your gratitude belongs to the young snowman, for it was his courage that inspired us to help you against the threat to our home."

"Aww who's a good Balmera." Just then they all turned to see Olaf just hugging the very ground. "you saved my friends so now your a friend."

"Olaf what the heck are you doing?" Kieth asked.

"I'm giving the Balmera a warm hug and it loves it!" Olaf chirped.

"You do know it can't talk right?" Kristof asked.

"Oh don't you listen to them, you like a hug don't you." Olaf said to the ground.

"Man Hunk he's as bad as you." Lance cracked remembering how Hunk thanked the Balmera the first time they came.

Elsa just shook her head at all their antics with a humorous smile. "You have surrounded yourself with good friends." Shay told her.

"Yeah well thats why I love them." Elsa agreed.

"Some more than others it seems." Shay said as she and Elsa looked to a certain Black clad Paladin shaking hands with one of the Balmerans. "Do not worry I am sure you will find your happiness."

"We know also you will find your lost sister child." Shays grandmother told her. "The Balmera could sense your determination when you fought to protect us. You have a similar connection that Allura has to this world. More than you know. Follow your heart and you will find what is lost to you." She said kindly.

Elsa nodded with a smile knowing she was right, her determination to find her sister had only grown. Yet she couldn't wonder about her feelings towards Shiro, and whether it would even work, but she couldn't deny the warmth she felt towards him. Shiro too wondered about his feelings, could it be he was getting a second chance?

Hours later everyone was on board the Castle of Lions, having left the Balmera and the Balmerans even decided to join the Coalition they were putting together. For now their focus was on the three Altean devices that now stood on the bridge with them.

"This is it, all three keys." Pidge said rather anxiously.

"I never thought I'd see all three in the same room again." Coran said still dreading this.

"Well what are we waiting for lets see what happens when we hook them up?!" Lance asked as the suspense was killing him.

Kieth held one key, while Elsa and Allura held the others. Kieth turned to Shiro offering him the key. "Shiro, you want to do the honours?" He asked.

"Its all you Kieth." Shiro told him with a proud smile. So without further delay they brought the three keys together in one swift motion. The tops glowed brightly as they interlocked together. Then finally the coordinates to what they sought finally appeared.

"Whoa." Hunk and Olaf breathed seeing the coordinates.

Coran wasted no time typing in the coordinates into the computer. The map of the universe appeared around them and showed them what the coordinates lead to.

"Those coordinates lead to the Nyrox Nebula, its an abandoned sector of space." Coran explained. "I've heard many rumours about this sector from Trigal its said to be the sector of no return."

"I was afraid you'd say that." Hunk grimace at that. However everyone couldn't help but feel a little intimidated by the prospect of now having the location of the Eye.

"Never the less that is where the Shattered Eye now lies." Allura said.

"Well." Pidge began.

"We now know where to go to destroy the Eye." Lance said.

"But now the bigger question is…" Kristof wondered.

"What do we do now?" Elsa then asked, everyone did have that same question on their minds.

"Yeah, well heres another one." Kieth then said getting everyones attention. "What do we do with our new guest?" Everyone looked in the same direction.

For down within the hold of the Castle of Lions in a lonely cell, sat a confined Ingrid sitting on the only bench. She looked with a sadistic smile, yet she was in confinement and powerless.

"Soon."

Authors notes: DUN DUN DUN! I think we can end this chapter here, and what a ride. The Paladins have finally secured the final key and now they have Ingrid as their prisoner, it should be good news right? I had fun writing this chapter and believe it or not the conversations between Shiro, Kieth, Elsa, Kristof and Allura were actually a deleted scene from my first Frozen Defender Story so I decided to use it for this one.
