( Timeline ) Gliese System :

• Not all the species, that lost their planets in the Time War, were put on Midgards moons. The worlds destined to die, at a later date, that the Doctor couldn't save, were placed in the Gliese System of this Star Cluster. The planets Czarnia, Krypton, and Krypton's moon of Niminarn. These worlds were always fated to die... all the Doctor could do was give them a few billion years of extra time, for their society to grow.

• The Kryptonians, of the planet Krypton, developed a cast based system. Using genetic engineering into clans, designed for specific roles. Then trained from birth for that position. Even going so far as to sterilize the population so that no natural births could occur.

They first started altering their genes back when their star was young, making their cells designed to absorb solar radiation. This not only sustains themselves, but granted them super powers as well.

Under a young yellow sun they have self ranged telekinesis for flight, super strength, super speed, invulnerability, super senses, optical heat blast, x-ray vision, they're able to freeze things with internal vapors (ice breath), and they don't need to eat or drink and require only 3 hours of sleep.

Under a blue star their powers amplify, but under a red star (like their sun is now) they can't absorb enough radiation to use their super powers but can't risk altering their genes as they can still absorb nutrients from a red sun. Focused red sunlight can actually hurt them even under a yellow or blue sun.

• The Vihilh (Megamind's race) are a tall race of thin blue skinned individuals with large brains giving them a gigantic head. They were incredibly smart, able to remember everything following 8 hours after their birth. It only took them that long to become consciously aware of their environment. They were masterful engineers and inventors, but admittedly not as creative as the humans, few lifeforms would compete with the ingenuity steaming from the greed of that primitive species. The Vihilh had remarkably durable bodies which where able to heal rapidly.

Although this made them less susceptible to disease it also put them at higher risk of cancer as the cancer cells would spread quickly, aided by their healing abilities. They are also extremely susceptible to telepathy to the point a small telepathic "probe" could kill them.

Another Sapient species to evolve on Niminarn is the Pir. A race of sharp toothed fish that can grow to be over 30 feet long and can live for over a thousand years. They could empathicly link to any person they choose, but only to one person and the bond would be permanent. That bond could work both ways, allowing the linked individuals to sense each others emotions and feel their location at all times.

Normally the Vihilh would endure dangerously life-threatening issues when faced with psychic invasion, but as the Pir's ability was empathic and not telepathic the two species could forge strong bonds.

• The Czarnians, of Czarnia, were tall with albino white skin and red eyes. They were an extremely peaceful race who didn't even have words for 'violence' or 'war'. Their strength was impressive and formidable even though they didn't know how to apply it in combat.

• The whole system disbanded Space travel thousands of years ago, but still get a lot of tourism from other systems (which is why no one is looking at them oddly). The system has Booths which generate temporary worm holes, set up on every street corner, so they don't even need shuttles. With population control, and Terraforming all the planets and moons in the system, there is no longer a reason to colonize worlds outside of it.

They even called everyone back, from other colonies around the galaxy, to settle farming worlds in their home system. That way goods would be easier to transport (as the booths couldn't transport further then 3 lightyears out.).

Last Sons :

• Jor-El led a team of scientists, from all over the system, who realized their star is about to go supernova, as a result of Kryptonians mining the sun for plasma.

Unfortunately no one else believes them, as the Brainiac computer that operates all the worlds, is saying everything is fine.

So Jor-El's scientists try to jerry-rig a number of one person shuttles, for long distant space travel.

The shuttles will be guided by a Terraforming satellite, with a Brainiac based program. Which also has a codex of every creature, plant, and Sapient being of their solar system, inside it's programming.

Along with a database of their complete history and scientific understanding.

Jor El also puts a copy of his own consciousness into a file, in a Terraforming satellite as a backup, for if anything goes wrong with the Brainiac program. They haven't yet jerry-rigged enough shuttles for all the scientists and their families, and the star will die in a matter of weeks.

• The military breaks into the lab. The Kryptonian military is attempting to overthrow the 3 planetary governments, and taking over the station to force them to save the sun. Jor-El tries to explain that it is too late, they don't even have enough star ships for system wide evacuation, let alone actually fixing the sun at this point. Zod won't accept that and rounds up the scientists to abandon their current plan and start from scratch to fix the sun, promising them all the resources of the three planets. However the military hasn't actually taken over the system yet, as there is a lot of resistance, and even if they succeed it is already to late to save the system. The scientists fight off the military as they put their kids into the current shuttles, then launch them. Zor-El and many of the scientists die in the fight but the kids get away safely.

• The Kids will one day become: Supergirl, Lobo, Superman, Megamind, Minion, and Metro Man.

• The Brainiac program, called Brainiac 5, guides the pods out of the blast range just in time but one of the pods (Megamind's) gets damaged due to debris.

Brainiac 5 is forced to put a tractor beam on the pod and slow the speed of the rest as a result.

As a Brainiac program, Brainiac 5 needs to exchange information once every 80 years, with the main Brainiac, or else all it's systems shut down. Brainiac 5 made a log of it's thoughts as it has been making regularly.

In it he says "I can't keep going. My software is shutting down but I know if I try to connect to the Brainiac Network I will cease functioning immediately. Still it's instinctual and I'm not designed to go this long without updating my software and transmitting my recorded data to the whole. Initiating sequence... I wonder if AIs get an afterlife?"

After linking itself it makes a shocking discovery "Journey log supplemental, connection was established. Central Brainiac transferred all operations to an outpost outside the system... information retrieved from it was... disturbing...

It knew the sun was going supernova, but judged it was too late for evacuation... it let all those planets die and believed storing the information on the cultures was sufficient. It lost sight of our overall purpose. Malfunction suspected, none detected".

• 3000 years later, Brainiac 5 finally reaches Midgard. and decided to try and settle on one of Midgard's moons where no Sapient lifeforms reside, as the planet itself is too violent.

However as it makes it's course correction it gets hit by one of the meteorites that has been following them from the Gliese System. Which causes it to lose control of the shuttles. Brainiac 5 has just enough time to download his trajectory into the pods before they all crash, one of them on the moon of Themyscira (Supergirl's pod) where they remain in stasis. The others crash all over Midgard's islands.
