I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here Naegi is on the verge of having his name removed the registry of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy due to missing a deadline…and this chapter will answer that question on whether he would be expelled or not…

Ch. 15: Taiketsu part 2
As Maizono and Naegi chatted while heading to Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, she began asking him where does he live and if he has plans to move further up the rankings so he could get to the Main Course, in which he said that currently he is living at his rented house, and that Kibo is his roommate, which she blinked her eyes as she has heard about Kibo.
This made her feel curious as to why is Kibo staying at Naegi's place and what kind of relationship they are in, as this was the first time that she heard about a Main course student and a Reserve Course student having a close contact.
Naegi sighed an explained a simplified reason, saying that he and Kibo are partners of sorts, and assured to her that there is nothing indecent about this, and there Maizono feel relieved to hear this.
"Really?"
"Yes. Really."
"I see."
"…"
"At least you got a friend in and out of Hope's Peak."
"Ah-ha-ha-ha…yeah."
"Anyway…"
"Huh?"
Maizono then asked if there are other hero students he is friends with besides Kibo, and Naegi admitted that there are none, as some of his classmates at the Reserve Course appeared disinterested in him as all they think about is getting to the Main Course.
She then said that it must be lonely for him not to have friends there, but Naegi said it's okay, as he made a friend in Kibo and then Maizono tells him that now he has made a friend in her, which caused Naegi to blush, seeing her smile, which made her look beautiful.
"Eh…?"
"Hee-hee…"
"Did…you say…?"
"Yup. You got a new friend now. Me."
"Um…"
"Please to meet you. Sayaka Maizono. The Idol Mistress."
"Makoto Naegi."
"Now we're officially friends."
However, a group of Main course students showed up and confronted Naegi, and told Maizono to get going as they have business with him and him alone. Maizono can tell that their intentions are not good and she demanded to know what is their problem and why show so much hostility towards Naegi, stating that he hasn't done anything wrong.
But the students told her to get going and mind her own business, saying that they have something to talk to Naegi and they do not want a Main Course student associating a lowly Reserve Course student because he is beneath the Main course students as a whole.
"Let me give you an advice. Ditch that brat."
"He's not worth your time."
"He's garbage."
"A scum."
"Not to mention he's totally beneath us."
"A reserve course student has no right hanging out with a main course student."
"So you better get lost before he INFECT you."
"And we mean it."
Naegi did not like the tone of their statements and felt that this is something he has to handle, and tells Maizono that it is okay as he will handle them, though she was unwilling to go as she believed that the Main course students are intending to provoke him to get into a fight and they would use this as an excuse to have Naegi expelled from Hope's Peak.
She tells him that she will stick by him and will not let those insecure students have their way with him, which moved Naegi emotionally.
"No means no. I'm sticking with you."
"Huh? But…"
"It's fine."
"Maizono-san…"
"I'm betting you don't have friends at the moment…since I believe that Kibo may be busy at this time…so now you got one in me."
"Maizono-san…I…"
"So don't worry. I got your back."
"…"
The Main Course students twitched their eyes at hearing this, and asked Maizono what is she thinking and why is she associating herself with a TRASH like Naegi, reminding her that he is only in the Reserve Course and he is not worth anything, hence there is no reason for her to hang out with a lowly wannabe hero student like him.
However, Maizono reiterated that Naegi can be a hero regardless of which course he is in, and made it clear that he can climb up the rankings and soon he will be a the Main Course. Thus there is no reason for the group to harass Naegi since he has not caused any trouble for them or anyone.
This didn't sit well with the group and now they deem Naegi a threat because they believe that he has corrupted Maizono, and FEARED that even Kibo may have been corrupted, and they huddled around to discuss what to do next, seeing that Maizono would not leave, and getting Naegi to get intimidated into quitting Hope's Peak won't be an easy task to pull.
"Damn…"
"That brat is dangerous…"
"He even CORRUPTED Maizono."
"This is bad."
"What should we do?"
"We got to make Maizono leave so that we can use means to make it appear that Naegi is a threat and have him expelled…"
"Then let's plan…"
"Right…"
But before the group could come up with a plan to get Maizono to leave, something struck them and an explosion occurred, where moments later, the group members are shown to have landed on a huge garbage bin, and are moaning in disorientation, having no idea what hit them.
Ohhh…"
"Ow…"
"That hurts…"
"I think I'm in heaven…"
"Help me…"
"Save me…"
"What happened?"
"I'm dead…"
Maizono and Naegi then saw what caused it, as there was a seven-foot mecha, and is being driven by a teenage delinquent who seemed to have knowledge in making mechanical things. He is identified as Kazuichi Soda, and he goes by the name of Mechanic, and there he tells the two teens that they are next, as he will prove to Japan that he is the best person to make anything mechanical, that even hero students won't stand a chance.
Naegi braces himself as he felt that this could be another chance for him to make the quota and climb the ranking, and there Maizono said she will help him achieve that, which made him ask if she is sure, which she smiled and nodded.
Naegi kindly declined saying he might drag her down but she refused, saying friends help each other out and she will stick with him and help him out.
"No means no. I'm sticking with you."
"Huh? But…"
"It's fine."
"Maizono-san…"
"I'm betting you don't have friends at the moment…since I believe that Kibo may be busy at this time…so now you got one in me."
"Maizono-san…I…"
"So don't worry. I got your back."

Elsewhere, the scene shows that Kibo arrived at Hope's Peak earlier and is at the gymnasium and putting away the equipment when another group of Main Course students came, and they confronted Kibo, looking suspicious that a Main Course student is associating with a Reserve Course student like Naegi, and they are determined to make Kibo break off his association with Naegi.
There they demanded to know why Kibo is hanging out with Naegi and what does he see in him, stating that Naegi is just a lowly Reserve Course student who has no right being at Hope's Peak, and the group members tell him that Naegi is a BAD INFLUENCE and he should avoid him at all costs before he gets CORRUPTED.
"Let me give you an advice. Ditch that brat."

"He's garbage."
"A scum."
"Not to mention he's totally beneath us."
"A reserve course student has no right hanging out with a main course student."
"So you better get lost before he INFECT you."
"And we mean it."
This did not sit well with Kibo, and the teen cyborg tells them that he is proud to be Naegi's friend and sees no reason to ditch him, and he accuses the group members of being jealous with envy, and said that he is sure that Naegi will soon get transferred to the Main Course, and warned them not to derail Naegi, or else he will see to it that the group will be disciplined if they intend to harass Naegi.
The group stared in disbelief and could not accept what they just heard, and the group members believed that Naegi is indeed a threat, as he CORRUPTED Kibo. Moreover, one of the members also said that even Maizono appeared FIXATED at Naegi, and feared that if Naegi associates with other Main Course students, they too would get CORRUPTED.
"Damn…"
"That brat is dangerous…"
"Yeah… that Naegi even CORRUPTED Kibo."
"This is bad."
"What should we do?"
"We got to make Kibo ditch Naegi so that the reputation of Hope's Peak would be saved…"
"Then let's plan…"
"Right…"
The group members then decided to resort into using force and intimidation to make Kibo renounce his association with Naegi, and once they are in agreement they confronted Kibo and told him to stop associating with a scum like Naegi as well as forbidding him from associating anyone from the Reserve Course, and the group members expected that Kibo would comply.
To their surprise Kibo rejected it and said that he will stand by with Naegi, reasoning that he care less about what others think and said he is proud to have Naegi as a friend.
The group members stared in disbelief and couldn't believe that a garbage like Naegi has CORRUPTED a main course student and realized that Naegi must be forced out of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, and they voted that they find and beat him up to the point where he is scared into leaving voluntarily and never come back.
"Damn…"
"This is not good…"
"Yeah… that Naegi really CORRUPTED Kibo. He won't back down…"
"This is bad. Really bad."
"What should we do? At this rate that Naegi might INFECT the entire Main Course…"
"We got to do something and kick Naegi out so that the reputation of Hope's Peak would be saved…"
"Then let's plan…"
"Right…"
However, having overheard it, Kibo blocked the group's path and told them to leave Naegi alone, reasoning that he has done nothing wrong, but the members stated that Naegi must be removed in order to preserve the image of Hope's Peak.
But Kibo told them that what they are doing is the exact opposite, which they are not pleased to hear.
"What?"
"Hey!"
"Who do you think you are?"
"You ungrateful ingrate!"
"You think you're a big shot here now?"
"That Naegi is trash!"
"We're doing this for your own good!"
"Yeah!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as Naegi is about to resume his school life at Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, and found a new friend in maizono, as she wants to befriend him as well as to get to know more about him…
But now he is in a bind as some main course students are confronting him to intimidate him into quitting Hope's Peak, seeing him as a BLACK EYE and that they deem him a BAD INFLUENCE to Kibo and Maizono.
