I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the situation intensifies as both Naegi and Kibo are being confronted by hostile students in the main course department of Hope's peak, as they took offense over the fact that a Main Course student is FRATERNIZING with a Reserve course student…
And now things would threaten to blow off…

Ch. 16: Taiketsu part 3
At Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, several students, mostly those in the Main Course, got the word about Kibo, a main course student, is rumored to be associating with a reserve course student named Makoto Naegi, which caused the students to get divided by opinion about this, as they never thought that someone like Kibo would hang out with a reserve course student like Naegi.
Word also spread that several groups of students are planning to confront Naegi and question him on why is he associating with a main course student, and there word began to spread about what would happen next if either Naegi or Kibo are confronted and are told to stop hanging out with each other.
"You think…?"
"No way…"
"Why would Kibo want to hang out with a reserve course student…?"
"He must be nuts…"
"Maybe that Naegi is just using him…"
"Those main course students are sure to make those two break up…"
"Who would win…?"
"You think a fight is about to commence…?"
What they didn't know is that Naegi and Kibo are currently embroiled as they are being told to sever their association at once, which neither of the boys are backing out.
The students wondered what would happen if the ones who opposes the friendship between Naegi and Kibo would force their way onto them and this made the students predict that a fight might take place and wondered what would happen if that were to become a reality.
"I think Kibo and Naegi would win…"
"Seriously?"
"That's a prediction…"
"No way…"
"Who knows? Kibo and Naegi were reportedly able to take down some villains…so…"
"Really?"
"You think those two would win…?"
"Fat chance!"

At the teachers' lounge, the members of the Steering Committee are also having a discussion, as they too learn of the fact that Kibo is associated with Naegi, which they deem it as SCANDALOUS as they firmly believe that the reserve course students are beneath the main course students.
They even deem Naegi an eyesore and made suggestions on how to find an excuse to expel him without arousing suspicion from Jin, as well as to show that reserve course students will never ascend to the main course.
"This is blasphemy!"
"Yeah!"
"That Naegi needs to be booted out!"
"But that Jin…we got to send him away so we can expel Naegi without interference!"
"I agree!"
"We need to make a plan!"
"Let's plant evidence and make it appear that…"
"Sounds good…WHOA!"
However, the Steering Committee members jumped from their chairs when someone interjected into the discussion, as the person who butted in is none other than the recently retired headmaster, Kazuo Tengan, and there he looked very displeased at what he just heard and told the committee members that they are adults and not schoolyard bullies.
He also told them that even those in the reserve course have a right to ascend if they exert efforts and if they have what it takes to become pro heroes, thus the committee members should let due process take its course and not let personal bias dictate the school system.
The committee members just nodded so as not to provoke Tengan.
"Y-yes, sir…"
"Y-yes, sir…"
"Y-yes, sir…"
"Y-yes, sir…"
"Y-yes, sir…"
"Y-yes, sir…"
"Y-yes, sir…"
"Y-yes, sir…"
As Tengan left, the committee members are now becoming more desperate as they urged their fellow committee members to come up with a way to get Naegi expelled as even Tengan is starting to show support someone from the Reserve course which the others agreed.
"This can't be…!"
"No even Tengan…"
"That Naegi is becoming a plague!"
"That brat might even INFECT the rest of the faculty!"
"We got to do something!"
"He's right!"
"Make a plan!"
"I'm thinking, damn it!"
Outside, Kizakura and Tengan overhead the discussion, which the former adjusted his hat as he sighed in dismay, seeing that the committee members are not letting up and commented that they are really foolish for being insecure over a reserve course student who just made waves for stopping a villain.
Tengan smiled and assured to Kizakura that he believes that Naegi would one day get transferred to the Main course, seeing that the boy has potential, which Kizakura adjusted his hat and wondered if Naegi be able to get past a lot of detractors.
"You think so…?"
"That I believe."
"Really, Tengan-san?"
"I firmly believe so, Kizakura."
"Well…if that Naegi could get past those detractors of his…"
"I'm sure that boy will make it big once he gets transferred to the Main Course…"
"Looking forward to that, Tengan-san."
"Ho-ho."

Elsewhere, the scene shows that Kibo arrived at Hope's Peak earlier and is at the gymnasium and putting away the equipment when another group of Main Course students came, and they confronted Kibo, looking suspicious that a Main Course student is associating with a Reserve Course student like Naegi, and they are determined to make Kibo break off his association with Naegi.
There they demanded to know why Kibo is hanging out with Naegi and what does he see in him, stating that Naegi is just a lowly Reserve Course student who has no right being at Hope's Peak, and the group members tell him that Naegi is a BAD INFLUENCE and he should avoid him at all costs before he gets CORRUPTED.
"Let me give you an advice. Ditch that brat."
"He's not worth your time."
"He's garbage."
"A scum."
"Not to mention he's totally beneath us."
"A reserve course student has no right hanging out with a main course student."
"So you better get lost before he INFECT you."
"And we mean it."
This did not sit well with Kibo, and the teen cyborg tells them that he is proud to be Naegi's friend and sees no reason to ditch him, and he accuses the group members of being jealous with envy, and said that he is sure that Naegi will soon get transferred to the Main Course, and warned them not to derail Naegi, or else he will see to it that the group will be disciplined if they intend to harass Naegi.
The group stared in disbelief and could not accept what they just heard, and the group members believed that Naegi is indeed a threat, as he CORRUPTED Kibo. Moreover, one of the members also said that even Maizono appeared FIXATED at Naegi, and feared that if Naegi associates with other Main Course students, they too would get CORRUPTED.
"Damn…"
"That brat is dangerous…"
"Yeah… that Naegi even CORRUPTED Kibo."
"This is bad."
"What should we do?"
"We got to make Kibo ditch Naegi so that the reputation of Hope's Peak would be saved…"
"Then let's plan…"
"Right…"
The group members then decided to resort into using force and intimidation to make Kibo renounce his association with Naegi, and once they are in agreement they confronted Kibo and told him to stop associating with a scum like Naegi as well as forbidding him from associating anyone from the Reserve Course, and the group members expected that Kibo would comply.
To their surprise Kibo rejected it and said that he will stand by with Naegi, reasoning that he care less about what others think and said he is proud to have Naegi as a friend.
The group members stared in disbelief and couldn't believe that a garbage like Naegi has CORRUPTED a main course student and realized that Naegi must be forced out of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, and they voted that they find and beat him up to the point where he is scared into leaving voluntarily and never come back.
"Damn…"
"This is not good…"
"Yeah… that Naegi really CORRUPTED Kibo. He won't back down…"
"This is bad. Really bad."
"What should we do? At this rate that Naegi might INFECT the entire Main Course…"
"We got to do something and kick Naegi out so that the reputation of Hope's Peak would be saved…"
"Then let's plan…"
"Right…"
However, having overheard it, Kibo blocked the group's path and told them to leave Naegi alone, reasoning that he has done nothing wrong, but the members stated that Naegi must be removed in order to preserve the image of Hope's Peak.
But Kibo told them that what they are doing is the exact opposite, which they are not pleased to hear.
"What?"
"Hey!"
"Who do you think you are?"
"You ungrateful ingrate!"
"You think you're a big shot here now?"
"That Naegi is trash!"
"We're doing this for your own good!"
"Yeah!"
However, Kibo said that is there is someone who deserves to be called trash, it's the main course students who are hostile towards Naegi, pointing out that they are foolish for being insecure towards a boy from the Reserve course who made his mark by committing two heroic deeds, and the main course students are getting on the edge for something shallow.
The main course students twitched their eyes at being told off and did not like the fact that Kibo is thinking highly about Naegi, which one of the students grabbed Kibo by his collar, reminding him that reserve course students have no place in Hope's Peak and tells Kibo to start distancing himself from Naegi or he would be deemed a threat.
Kibo responded that the main course students are the threats because of their antics and even questioned if the main course students are aspiring heroes or just school bullies, which the students were taken aback at what the teen cyborg said.
"Wh-what…?"
"Hey!"
"What did you say..?"
"You heard me. Are you aspiring to become pro heroes…or do you want to become school bullies and villains?"
"How…how dare you!"
"Who do you think you are?"
"Don't act like you're a big shot now!"
"It is you who went over your head. You want to force a reserve course student out of Hope's peak just because you deem him a trash because he wanted to ascend to the Main course through efforts. You want to ruin one's dreams because you feel that you are superior over others."
The students then huddled as they formulate a plan to do something about this, seeing that Kibo would not listen to reason and they came to an agreement that Naegi should be taken care of and get him to leave Hope's Peak, and suggested that they frame him for a crime so as to give Hope's Peak officials a reason to expel him.
However Kibo raised his hand and a light emanated, which the teen cyborg tells them that he will not let them have their way and warned them that if they proceed with their plans he will beat them up whether he would get into trouble or not.
The students stared wide-eyed seeing that Kibo is serious.
"What the…?"
"Damn!"
"He's serious!"
"That guy's really crazy!"
"And it's all Naegi's fault!"
"We got to do something!"
"Get ready! We'll have to beat some sense into this idiot!"
"Sounds fine with me!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as Kibo stood by his ground and not let others dictate his life, whilst taking offense at the main course students who want to harass Naegi into quitting, and now a fight is about to commence as the teen cyborg is about to put the bullies in their places for their attempt to frame Naegi for a crime he never committed.
