I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the situation stabilizes as Naegi, with the help of Maizono, defeated the villain, whilst they head off to Hope's Peak Superhero Academy to file a report, but then the detractors would try to do something to foil it…

Ch. 19: Seito-kai

Several minutes later, Maizono and Naegi reported to Jin Kirigiri at Hope's Peak Superhero Academy about what happened earlier, and through her testimony, Naegi is given credit, and the headmaster told him to keep up the good work and promised that he would soon be eligible to be transferred to the main course, which he humbly nodded.

Maizono smiled and said to Naegi that she looks forward to become her classmate, which made him blush at seeing how cute she looked.

"Wow."

"Huh?"

"I look forward to become your classmate soon."

"R-really…?"

"Uh-huh."

"Um…"

"So keep it up, okay?"

"Uh…okay…"

Outside the headmaster's office, the Steering Committee members were eavesdropping and are alarmed that the reserve course student is being praised and is told that he may be recommended to be transferred to the main course of Hope's Peak, and they grumbled in disdain as they believe that reserve course students have no right, and believe that he bribed Maizono to make him look good.

"That brat…"

"He's full of himself…"

"I can't believe this…"

"I bet he bribed Maizono to make himself look good…"

"Or maybe he tricked her into telling Jin that he defeated a villain…"

"That may be it…"

"We can't let this slide…"

"I agree…"

They began to make plans on how to discredit Naegi so that he won't get the chance to be transferred to the main course, but then their planning is interrupted as Kizakura startled them by asking them out of the blue if they are serious about foiling Naegi

The Steering Committee members jumped upon being accosted and tried to make themselves look innocent and deny what Kizakura is implying, so as not to let him know about their plans.

"Uh…"

"No…it's…"

"You misunderstood…"

"We we're just discussing…"

"Yeah…that's it…right, guys…?"

"Right!"

"It's nothing serious."

"Indeed!"

As Kizakura adjusted his fedora hat, the door opened and both Maizono and Naegi left, and are chatting in a friendly way, and the Steering Committee members are aghast at seeing this, believing that Naegi is CHARMING his way and got close to Maizono, one of the main course's prized pride.

The Steering Committee members left and went to another room and expressed concern that Naegi is becoming a risk as they cannot let a mere reserve course student taint the image of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, and are making suggestions on how to prevent him from climbing up and keep him grounded at the reserve course.

"What do you say…?"

"I say we make questionnaire when exams arrive, then make it separate from the other subjects so he won't…"

"Sounds good…"

"Good idea!"

"We got to implement it!"

"Indeed!"

"We better hurry…"

"Right…"

Suddenly, the door opened, where the committee members are startled again, where they saw Kibo standing there, and asked if they have problems with Naegi, stating that he overheard them talking about the boy.

The committee members became wary as they got the impression that Kibo is about to take action and they lied their way out just to make Kibo think that Naegi is not being harassed, which the teen cyborg observe them and told the committee members that Naegi is a student of Hope's Peak and that he deserves to have a chance to get in to the main course.

He even gave a warning that if he gets the impression that the committee members are planning to do something bad towards Naegi, he will take action without hesitation, which made the committee members stare in surprise.

"Wh-what…?"

"Are you threatening us?"

"Do you know what you are saying?"

"You can't be serious!"

"I am serious. And mark my words: if you make any attempts to discredit Naegi-sensei…and once I caught you in the act…you will be sorry."

"Blast you!"

"Know your place!"

"Do you know who you are talking to?"

"Heed my warning, Steering Committee…I have my eyes on you. Leave Naegi-sensei alone. Do that and you won't hear anything from me."

After that, Kibo left, and the committee members were dumbfounded at what just happened, and they are now becoming more cautious and deemed Naegi a PLAGUE as they believe that his presence have INFECTED the main course students, like Kibo and Maizono, and they went to another area to discuss on their next move, as they are now determined to have Naegi expelled at any way possible.

"That damn Naegi…he really is a brat…!"

"He's full of himself…he thinks he's untouchable!"

"I can't believe this…"

"First Kibo, and now Maizono…"

"That Naegi is indeed a disease…!"

"We got to do something…!"

"We can't let this slide…not what that Kibo just told us! Makoto Naegi must be expelled!"

"I agree…we need a plan!"

At the hallway, Maizono decided to give Naegi a tour within the Main Course building, and he is awed at seeing what he is shown, and there she encouraged him to do his best so that he would be eligible for transfer to the main course of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.

"So do your best, okay?"

"Uh…yeah."

"I'm sure you can be a good person once you get transferred to the main course."

"S-sure…"

"I look forward to become your classmate soon."

"R-really…?"

"Uh-huh."

"Um…"

As the two teens walked, the members of the student council watched them, yet all eyes are aimed towards Naegi, and commented on seeing him in person for the first time, expressing surprise that he looked so ordinary despite wearing his hero costume (the red suit).

"So that's him?"

"The description fits."

"Makoto Naegi, huh?"

"No doubt about it."

"I never thought he looked so ordinary in the flesh."

"Me too…I sort of expecting that he looked…imposing."

"Yet his presence seemed to attract even the top students in the main course."

"Yes. Sayaka Maizono and the cyborg Kibo. Both seemed to be interested in Naegi."

The student council members continue to observe Naegi, and slowly began planning out on how to arrange a meeting and judge him if he is worthy of being inducted into the main course of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.

The members are identified as:

The council members soon got word that Kibo confronted the Steering Committee members, though failed to get details on why the teen cyborg confronted them, and the council president, Muramase, suggested that they ask Kibo to facilitate a meeting with Naegi so as they can interview him and judge him for themselves to see if Naegi is worthy of getting transferred to the main course.

"So, what do you say…?"

"Hmm…"

"A meeting with Naegi…"

"Sounds interesting…"

"And maybe we can get to see what this Naegi is like face to face…"

"So we're in agreement…?"

"Sure."

"Count me in."

As the student council members went for the clubroom, they passed by a few main course students, who are discussing about Naegi being given a tour by Maizono, and the said students expressed disdain that a reserve course student is allowed in the main course building.

They branded Naegi as an opportunistic germ that must be DISINFECTED immediately and are laying plans on how to chase him away or make him look bad that would warrant in having him expelled so as to preserve the image of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.

"That damn Naegi…he really is a brat…!"

"He's full of himself…he tricked Maizono into giving him a tour here!"

"I can't believe this…he feels that he is a main course student even though he is just a lowly reserve course brat!"

"First Kibo, and now Maizono…he might INFECT our fellow main course classmates!"

"That Naegi is indeed a disease…!"

"We got to do something…! We let him do as he please!"

"We can't let this slide…! Makoto Naegi must be expelled!"

"I agree…we need a plan! Anything that will kick that Naegi out of this academy!"

However, Kibo appeared and overheard what the jealous students are planning, and warned them that they are in a heap of trouble if they attempt to attack Naegi, and the jealous students demanded to know where his loyalty lie, accusing him of stopping low by befriending a trash like Naegi, reasoning that reserve course students have no place in the main course.

"Do you realize what you're saying?"

"That Naegi is garbage!"

"You should know that!"

"Whether he is a reserve course student or whatever, Naegi-sensei is still a student of Hope's Peak! He deserved to be given a chance!"

"What?"

"Preposterous!"

"He is worthless!"

"And believe me…if you dare harass him…you will feel the wrath of a cyborg…me!"

Hope you liked this chapter, in which Naegi is given praise by the headmaster after being told by Maizono that Naegi defeated a villain, and he is told to keep up the good work in order for him to be evaluated on whether he be recommended to be transferred to the main course.

Kibo appeared here and stood by his ground as he gave a fair warning to the Steering Committee and some jealous main course students that they will feel his wrath if they make an attempt to harass Naegi, and the Student Council witnessed it, which made them curious as to how and why a reserve course student like Naegi has attracted the likes of Kibo and Maizono.
