I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the situation gets intense as the student council appeared to be intrigued about Naegi…and their imminent first meeting is fast approaching…though there might be a slight delay…See below what would take place and how Naegi would handle this...

Ch. 25: Naegi to seito-kai part 4

The Steering Committee members are aghast to see that the student council members are standing up and are now defending a reserve course student like Naegi, and they couldn't comprehend why the student council members are willing to accommodate a garbage like Naegi since he is just a reserve course student and doesn't deserve such attention.

The committee members attempted to dissuade the student council members from entertaining Naegi by saying that he is not an important person and that there are other TALENTED students who are worth the time and urged them to have Naegi leave the main building of the main course.

However, Kibo stood in front and raised his voice, warning them that if they try to harass Naegi again he will not hesitate to use brute force if necessary, which the committee members were taken aback by Kibo's bold statement.

"What?"

"The nerve!"

"Insolent brat! You dare side with that garbage of a reserve course student?"

"You ungrateful maggot! You ought to be expelled!"

"We should expel him! Anyone siding with that Naegi!"

"Right!"

"Immediately!"

"At once!"

The Steering Committee members attempted to use their position to make Kibo submit, but the teen cyborg wasn't fazed and answered back, saying that if the Steering Committee won't cease in harassing Naegi he is willing to risk getting expulsion just to make the committee members stop their foolishness.

The student council members were taken aback and are quite worried that the ruckus might attract attention, but the student council president was calm enough as he observed the scene as he saw that even Naegi appeared to be concerned as he approached Kibo and urged him not to risk getting expelled on his account.

The student council president then approached the Steering Committee members and politely demanded that they leave at once as they are beginning to disrupt the classes and that he wanted to have a discussion with Naegi himself, saying that despite being a reserve course student, Naegi may have the qualities worthy of being transferred to the main course, which the committee members are further aghast at hearing this.

"And once again I say this…Makoto Naegi stays, and that is my decision. Nothing more, nothing less. Please let us do our jobs."

"What?"

"But…"

"You should know already…that we, at the student council, oversee everything within the whole campus, and thus we have jurisdiction over the students, be it the main course or the reserve course. We do not discriminate, thus there is no reason for me to throw this boy out just because he is a reserve course student. If he is worthy of being transferred in the main course…then it's all for the better."

"Please think about it! Do you have any idea what you're doing? This boy is nothing like the students in the main course!"

"Trust us! You must know that this kid is not worth your time! He is utterly worthless and not something important!"

"For me it is. So please leave now as I have an appointment with Mr. Naegi…as we are already behind schedule…"

"…"

By then an unexpected visitor came and is attracted by the argument, and approached the scene, where the committee members are surprised to see who came, who turn out to be a member of the Education Board, he is among the sponsors of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.

The board member glanced at the scene as he overheard the argument while looking at Naegi from head to toe, and while Naegi looked like a plain boy, the board member has seen him in action, and felt that there is nothing wrong about a reserve course student getting transferred to the main course. He asked the student council president what business do they have with Naegi, and after hearing the answer, he told him to carry out what he intend to do with Naegi.

"I see. Carry on, then."

"Yes sir."

"Just make sure that no untoward incidents happen. Got that?"

"Yes sir."

"Very well. Go on ahead."

"Yes sir."

"And make sure there won't be any disturbance. Got that?"

"Yes sir."

He then told the committee members to stop and leave Naegi alone as he has not committed any violations as well as well as he told them to cease their discriminatory attitudes towards the reserve course students, saying that each of them has potential to become a better student, so prohibiting them would be counterproductive.

The Steering Committee members were shocked at being told, and when the board member asked the Steering Committee if they are willing to comply, they reluctantly nodded as they fear that the board member might report them to the rest and I'd that happens the Steering Committee would be grilled

"Yes sir…"

After that, the Steering Committee members left in shame and embarrassment, and there the board member glanced at Kibo and Maizono, telling them to keep up the good work and to continue being good friends with Naegi, which the two students nodded.

"Now you two keep up the good work."

"Yes sir…"

"And continue being a good friend to that Naegi kid."

"Yes sir…"

"Good. Please go back to class."

"Yes sir…"

After that the board member left, and there the student council president led Naegi inside the club room as he began having an interview with the boy, which the student council members glanced at each other before commenting that even a member of the board of education appeared to have been swayed by someone like Naegi, and wondered what kind of person Naegi is.

"That kid…he really is…"

"Makoto Naegi…he is calm in the face of adversity…and now even a member of the board of education has shown favorably towards that Naegi…"

"What does everyone see in him…?"

"Does anyone really believe that Naegi can make it to the main course…?"

"I am conflicted…"

"Me too."

"What should we do…?"

"No idea…"

Once the hallway is empty, Maizono tells Kibo that they should go as well, seeing that Naegi is going to be okay as no one will be bullying him for now and that she has a feeling that he might get transferred to the main course sooner than expected, which Kibo nodded.

He glanced at the club room where the student council members are in, and hoped that Naegi will be okay, which Maizono assured that Naegi is going to be fine as he can defend himself if things turn ugly all of the sudden.

"Come on. We should get going."

"But…Naegi-sensei...he…"

"He's going to be okay."

"Really…?"

"Yes."

"…if you say so…"

"Shall we…?"

"Fine."

About 45 minutes later, the scene shifts at a classroom where some of the main course students are in, and it shows that the main course students who opposed to Naegi being here at the main course building got the news that even a member of the Board of Education appeared to be in favor of Naegi being transferred to the main course, and the arrogant main course students are aghast at this and they deemed Naegi as a PARASITE that must be eradicated, because of their belief that reserve course students have no right being here.

They began discussing about what to do and how to get Naegi leave Hope's Peak Superhero Academy as they all agree that he is not welcomed here and each came up with suggestions on how to convince the principal that Naegi is a bad student that would warrant his expulsion.

Suddenly, the door of their classroom was suddenly opened, and there Kibo stood there, having overheard the discussion and is not pleased that the arrogant main course students are plotting to have Naegi unjustifiably expelled through treachery.

"To think you lot would stoop this low...this is unacceptable! A fair warning…cease this foolishness now. Or there will be hell to pay."

"!"

"So you better not force my hand. Stop harassing Naegi-sensei and leave him in peace."

"!"

Behind him is Maizono, as she recorded the conversation and she tells Kibo that she will present it to the principal so as to let him know what the students are planning to do, and the arrogant main course students are alarmed, fearing that if Maizono do that they may either get suspended or expelled.

The arrogant main course students brazenly decided to get the recorder through any means necessary and then come up with an alibi to justify their actions, which the lead students persuaded his fellow students that they are doing this for Hope's Peak.

"We must act now! We must protect the image of Hope's Peak! Let us revolt!"

"Right!"

"We should teach the infidels to know their places!"

"Right!"

Kibo then prepared his cybernetic weaponry as he sensed that the arrogant main course students are going to do everything to prevent the exposure, and told Maizono to head for the principal's office no matter what, and give him the recorder containing the evidence.

As Maizono nodded, she is ready to go bit some of the arrogant main course students blocked her way and are ready to pounce her just to get their hands on the recorder, and they are willing to hurt her if needed, and gave her an ultimatum or else she would pay dearly.

"Alright, bitch!"

"Give us the recorder! "

"Hand it over!"

"Now."

"Or you'll be sorry!"

"We mean it!"

"Do it now!"

"Or else!"

Suddenly Naegi showed up, and wearing the red suit underneath his academy uniform, uses his powers and shoved the students aside, sending them crashing against the wall, and stood in front of Maizono, and told her and Kibo that he is the target of the arrogant main course students, hence he will shoulder it and urged the two to leave it to him.

Kibo and Maizono were surprised to see him, yet they are unwilling to let him be and said that they will stick with him and not let him shoulder that burden.

"No, Naegi-sensei..."

"We'll stick with you!"

"But…"

"We got your back!"

"Let us help you."

"You two…"

"We're in this together."

"And we won't abandon a friend."

"…"

The arrogant students were really pissed seeing that Kibo and Maizono, two main course students, would stoop this low by defending a reserve course student like Naegi, and felt that the aforementioned two students are not worthy of being main course students, hence the one leading the revolt urged his classmates to teach the two a lesson, that those who befriend a lowly reserve course student should be weeded out.

The arrogant students were swayed and agreed, and are now ready to attack Naegi, Kibo and Maizono, not caring anymore about anything other than protecting the image of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, and they all roared in agreement that Naegi must be booted out, along with those siding with the reserve course student.

"We must act now! We must protect the image of Hope's Peak! Let us revolt!"

"Right!"

"We should teach the infidels to know their places!"

"Right!"

Hope you liked this chapter, in which Naegi became a hot topic, as he earned the ire of the Steering Committee members because of his presence inside the building of the main course of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.

Things got tense as the committee members get into a conflict as even a member of the board of education appeared to take interest in Naegi, and now with the arrogant main course students as they finally decided to revolt just to boot Naegi out…
