Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the Harry Potter characters are faced with a dilemma that a Muggle who accidentally witnessed a situation that only the Ministry of magic members are supposed to face, and what do they make of this unknown wizard who possess a different kind of magic.…

This chapter will show the situation as some of the jurors within the Wizengamot are divided in opinion on whether Haruto is a threat or not, and if has the right to wield a magic of unknown origin…

Can Harry and his friends be able to defend him as the jurors have been enticed by the hardliner juror who is biased towards Muggle-borns?

Well then, read on and enjoy!

As Haruto waited, one of the jurors, who happened to be a hardline activist against unauthorized use of ILLEGAL MAGIC, deem Haruto a threat and drew out his wand and intend to incapacitate the Muggle wizard, and performed a powerful spell which would seriously incapacitate and injure a target, and Haruto saw it and reacted by instinct, placing his right hand in front of the Wizardriver and activated a defensive spell.

Wizardriver: "DEFEND…PLEASE…"

A magic circle appeared and acted as a shield, and holds off the magic attack, and the lead juror ordered her fellow juror to stop, but the said juror appeared dead-set in taking down Haruto and increased the magical pressure, forcing Haruto to back away while protecting himself.

However, Hermione arrived, and having witnessed everything, she drew her wand and disarms the juror and ended the tension where she berated him for his actions, but the juror maintained that Haruto is a threat and must be stripped of the ILLEGAL MAGIC since he never possessed it in the first place.

"I say that man must be stripped of that magic!"

"And what basis so you have?"

"He never possess magic in the first place! He gained an artificial magic and hence he is not a true wizard! He is a threat to the Wizarding World and must be dealt with!"

"Can you prove that this man be a threat when he voluntarily submitted himself to you and explained why he gained such magic? If he is a threat then he would have attacked you by now."

"I reiterate that this man has no right possessing illegal magic!"

"You are having the same mindset like Voldemort! You are a disgrace!"

"No! My loyalty is to the Wizarding World! That man is a threat!"

"He is not!"

Haruto, however, countered that statement, saying he earned it and it was born under him, hence he did not obtain magic in an illegal way and that he has been using magic to protect people from magical threats such as Phantoms.

However, the overzealous juror proved to be as sycophantic like the now-incarcerated Dolores Umbridge, and began urging his fellow jurors to vote in stripping Haruto of this ILLEGAL MAGIC.

Hermione berated the juror for being a racist but the juror maintained that despite the circumstances the fact remains the same…Haruto's magic was obtained ILLEGALLY, and that he cannot, and has no right, wielding it, hence he must be stripped of it no matter what.

Harry appeared to be concerned as he never thought that one of the jurors hold out an old habit of being biased towards Muggles and now he is using propaganda to spur the other jurors to vote in having Haruto stripped of his magic even though he technically earned it.

The scene caused quite a stir as opinion became divided as half of the jurors seemingly sided with the hardline juror as they seemingly took his word for it as they became wary towards Haruto, but the other half are willing to give the Muggle wizard a benefit of a doubt, seeing that he did not do anything other than defending himself from the hardliner's attack.

"Wait…"

"Let's not be rash."

"Perhaps we can judge him for ourselves."

"Indeed."

"Let us give him a chance."

"We'll know for sure if he is a threat or not "

"Why don't we all calm down…"

*That's right…"

However the hardliner's word began to away a majority of the jurors, and they began to question if Haruto is a threat or not, as they began to fear him after seeing how strong his magic is despite not using a wand, and they began to voice their opposition to let him keep his magic.

"Is he really a threat?"

"Isn't he a dark wizard pretending to be a Muggle?"

"What if he attack us?"

"What if he possess dark magic?"

"He may be a threat after all…"

"We shouldn't take any chances!"

"We must subdue him!"

"Indeed!"

Haruto watches the scene before him as the courtroom started to get noisy which some of the jurors began to raise their wands, but relented as Hermione assured that Haruto will not cause trouble, but the hardliner's persistence swayed the jurors in his diabolical favor.

"But what if he's right?"

"What if he attack us?"

"What if he possess dark magic?"

"He may be a threat after all…"

"He might slaughter us all!"

"What if he really is a dark wizard?"

"We can't afford to let our guard down!"

"A decision must be made!"

Ch. 7: Unmei no mahō no tōhyō

As the situation within Wizengamot intensifies, about 50 jurors are locked in a deadlock as half of them are in favor of stripping Haruto of his magic while the other half do not agree as they see nothing problematic about Haruto, and the two sides argued that someone like Haruto would pose a threat to the Wizarding World.

The hardliner's effort persists as he claims that Haruto might become the next Voldemort, which somewhat caused half of the jurors to get on the edge and unknowingly got suckered into believing the claim.

"He's right!"

"He has a point!"

"He could be the next dark wizard!"

"If that's true, then our world would be in danger!"

"We cannot let this happen!"

"He's right!"

"That man could be dangerous!"

"He must be restrained!"

Harry became incensed at what the hardliner's actions are doing and he accused him of racism which the hardliner sarcastically feigned innocence and said as a DULY ELECTED WIZARDING OFFICIAL he is doing his duty and reiterate that Haruto is a threat and has no right wielding such DANGEROUS magic, which belong to a Death Eater.

Harry verbally lashed back at him for lying which the hardliner smirked and said that Harry has no proof of that kind of accusations.

"Really, Mr. Potter…?"

"…"

"I am merely doing my job and duty…"

"By inciting fear and paranoia?"

"Goodness me…your delusion mislead you."

"You're wrong…"

"It is you who is wrong. That man pretending to be a Muggle, but in reality he is…"

"You are a racist who…"

Suddenly, Draco Malfoy came and told the hardliner that his actions are no different from Voldemort and said that his actions are indeed that of a racist and tells him he has no place within the Wizengamot, which surprised the jurors as they never seen him defend Harry like that before.

Draco then told the jurors that he brought witnesses saying that they can attest that Haruto is not a threat and that he is responsible for using his magic in a very responsible way, which made the jurors stare in curiosity.

"Really, Mr. Malfoy?"

"That's a serious statement…"

"How can you be sure?"

"Can you prove that this Muggle is not a threat to the Wizarding World?"

"Then provide us with evidence."

"Show us."

"Prove that you are right."

"Indeed."

Nodding, Draco called the witnesses, who turn out to be the ones that Haruto saved:

- Scorpius Malfoy

- Albus Potter

The jurors listen on as Scorpius narrated how he and Albus were abducted by the remnants of Voldemort's men and mistook the rumors of him being Voldemort's descendant and persists in asserting that Scorpius could revive the dark lord, and even threatened to kill Albus if he doesn't cooperate with them.

Albus also collaborate with Scorpius' testimony and described how they were closed to getting killed before Haruto accidentally showed up. Draco uses a cauldron and places the COLLECTED memories of the two children and the SCENES played out, showing that the Death Eaters intended to kill Haruto to make an example but Haruto is shown that he fought back and transformed into the ARMORED wizard and defeated the Death Eaters and Fenrir Greyback.

The jurors were stunned at what they saw, dumfounded that a mere Muggle singlehandedly defeated the Death Eaters and some dangerous werewolves using a different kind of magic.

"Merlin's beard… "

"I don't believe this…"

"He took down a dozen Death Eaters and werewolves?"

"And he didn't even use a wand!"

"This is incomprehensible…"

"What kind of magic did he use?"

"How did he do that?"

"Is he really a wizard?"

Despite this the hardline juror refused to acknowledge this and uses a PERSUASIVE means to react hostile towards Haruto and urges the jurors to cast a vote on whether or not Haruto should keep his magic or take it by force.

Scorpius did not take the hardliner's actions and attitude well and accosted him, but the hardline juror responded by using a Stupify spell, but Albus reacted by instinct and pushed Scopius out of the way and ended up getting the hit, sending him colliding against a wall and injured him.

Harry and Draco we're shocked by the turn of events and they, and Scorpius went to check on Albus whilst Haruto is incensed at the hardliner's actions and questioned him if he is really acting on behalf of this world or if he is simply a MAGICAL RACIST.

The hardliner did not take the comments well and motivated by extreme racism, waved his wand and fired a spell that can seriously injure a person, but Haruto reacted immediately.

Wizardriver: "DEFEND…PLEASE…"

A magic circle appeared and acted as a shield, and holds off the magic attack, and the lead juror, realizing that the hardliner activist is clearly FANATICAL, ordered him to stand down and ordered her fellow juror to stop this at once, but the said juror appeared dead-set in taking down Haruto and increased the magical pressure, forcing Haruto to back away while protecting himself.

He reiterated that Haruto is a threat and stripping him of the ILLEGAL MAGIC is the only LOGICAL WAY to address it and this takes action, which the lead juror protests.

"Your actions just now contradicted your statement!"

"No! I am doing this for the safety of the Wizarding World!"

"Attacking an unarmed Muggle…and struck a young boy with a Stupefy charm…how can you explain that?"

"That Muggle is to be blamed!"

"Stand down at once!"

"Not until that man is restrained!"

"Stand down, I say!"

"Have faith in me! I will save this world from the likes of that faker!"

However, Hermione began to react, and having witnessed everything, especially after what he did to Albus, she drew her wand and disarms and restrains the hardline juror and ended the tension where she berated him for his actions, saying that he is clearly racist and is no different from Voldemort.

The hardliner refuted and insists that Haruto has no right having that magic because he WASN'T BORN with genuine magic at birth and insists that this is the only way to address this.

"Your actions just proves it! You clearly want to pick on that Muggle!"

"No! I am doing this for the safety of the Wizarding World! That man is clearly a threat to us wizards!"

"And you justify this by attacking an unarmed Muggle…and struck a young boy with a Stupefy charm…how can you explain that? Do you realize what you've done?"

"That Muggle is to be blamed! He is the cause of this!"

"Stand down at once! You are clearly FANATICAL! And out of line!"

"Not until that man is restrained! He must be stripped of that illegal magic!"

"That is enough!"

"You are a fool! I'll never understand why a lowly Muggle became the Minister of Magic! I will save this world from the likes of that faker! You'll see!"

He then used his PERSUASIVE MEANS to coax the jurors to cast a vote on whether Haruto should be stripped of the ARTIFICIAL and ILLEGAL magic, which to Hermione and her friends' surprise, the jurors huddled before announcing that they will cast a vote to ensure a FAIR and UNBIASED decision regarding Haruto.

Draco protested, saying that Albus and Scorpius' testimonies, along with the memories shown on the cauldron are proof, but the lead juror calmly said that this would ensure that the Wizengamot jurors will not play favorites and take sides with anyone.

"Do not worry, Mr. Malfoy."

"But…"

"We will show that man that we are not taking sides based on blood purity."

"But you might condemn an innocent Muggle just because…"

"This is also a proper way to show that we are not favoring anyone. Have faith in us."

"…"

"And after this, that juror will be punished for what he did a while ago. You have my word."

"…"

To Be Continued...

Hope you liked this chapter, as the hardline juror is clearly a racist who wants to pick on Muggles for the wrong reasons…and now he managed to coax some jurors to act hostile towards an innocent Muggle just because he gained magical abilities through artificial means even though he is a victim in all this.

Albus suffered from the hardliner and yet he managed to trick the jurors to cast a vote on whether Haruto should be stripped of his magic despite Harry and Hermione's vote of confidence.
