Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the situation gets intense as the student council arc concluded, yet Naegi gets a bit if trouble as hostile main course students are now determined to chase him out of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy…
And now Kibo and Maizono are about to get involved…
Well then, read on and enjoy!
Ch. 27: Resupaito
At the student council room, the president has just adjourned the meeting, as they just finished their discussion about Naegi, as they all agreed that he has potential and that he might be the first reserve course student that could make the jump to the main course department.
"So, my fellow council members…what do you think…do you believe that Makoto Naegi has the potential to make it to the main course…?"
"Well…I have to admit…"
"Naegi does have the potential…"
"Provided that he doesn't let this get to his head…"
"I agree."
"Naegi can be a hero in his own right."
"I suppose…"
"Yeah…"
Suddenly, a concerned student came and told the student council president about the situation at the hallway and the student council members realized that the main course students are serious about chasing Naegi away, and there the council president told the members on what to do, which the council members roared in acknowledgement.
"Yes, president!"
"Yes, president!"
"Yes, president!"
"Yes, president!"
"Yes, president!"
"Yes, president!"
"Yes, president!"
"Yes, president!"

At the corridors of the main course building of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, the Steering Committee members showed up, having witnessed the scene, and they agreed that this scenario is a perfect cover-up to do this without exposing themselves.
"Look at that…"
"Yeah…"
"It seems that LUCK is on our side…"
"Indeed."
"This is perfect."
"Yes."
"Now we have the leverage."
"We should take advantage."
The Steering Committee members agreed that they are going to use this incident as an excuse so as to give them a reason to have Naegi expelled, and they PRETENDED to pass by, and berated Naegi for the violence he committed and even made it appear that he is now causing an insurrection by attacking the main course students, and the arrogant main course students rode along with the Steering Committee members and accused Naegi of the violence he committed.
They then urged the Steering Committee members to have Naegi expelled at once.
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
The Steering Committee members decreed that Naegi be expelled and never be re-admitted here, but Maizono and Kibo stood in front of the beleaguered boy and accused the Steering Committee members for their bias as they did not even bothered to ask for witnesses of this incident.
Kibo pointed out that he and Maizono saw it all that the arrogant main course students started it and are intent in harming Naegi even though he did nothing wrong, yet the Steering Committee members insisted that Naegi be expelled as their witnessing his actions against the main course students is enough proof that Naegi has no right studying here.
The arrogant main course students roared and urged the Steering Committee members to have Naegi expelled, which they shouted louder to motivate the committee members into expelling Naegi.
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
Naegi clenched his fists seeing that the Steering Committee members were using this incident as an excuse to have him expelled, but Kibo and Maizono stepped forward and told them that they will not allow them to expel Naegi as they please, stating that Naegi has proven himself and that he deserves the chance to be scouted at the main course department of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.
The two teens said that now they are going to risk expulsion just to show that heroes have the reason to protect those being trampled for no justifiable reason, much to the Steering Committee members and the arrogant main course students' disgust.
This further fueled the arrogant main course students to put pressure as they urged the Steering Committee members to act immediately and have Naegi expelled from Hope's Peak Superhero Academy and have him ejected from the campus immediately.
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
The Steering Committee members glanced at each other and smirked, seeing that their plan is working, as they expect Naegi to cave in under pressure and thus it would make things easier for them to chase him out of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.
However, Kibo fired a warning shot and threatened that he will go all-out if they insist on harming Naegi, which the arrogant main course students felt insulted at being told off, and there they urged the Steering Committee members to expel Kibo as well, saying that he is no longer recognized as a main course students due to him fraternizing with a garbage like Naegi.
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
"Expel him!"
Maizono then did a VOCAL SONIC BOOM which nearly made the arrogant students kneeling down in disorientation, and she tells them to return to their classrooms, saying that the students themselves are causing this ruckus and not Naegi, which further infuriated the other arrogant main course students and they urged the Steering Committee members to expel Kibo and Maizono for siding with a reserve course student.
"Expel them!"
"Expel them!"
"Expel them!"
"Expel them!"
"Expel them!"
"Expel them!"
"Expel them!"
"Expel them!"
However, something unexpected happened, as someone showed up and slammed a fist on the wall, causing the wall to crack, and the Steering Committee members were taken aback at seeing this, and the arrogant main course students gasped in surprise.
It turns out that another main course student showed up, but this student did not join the others to torment Naegi, and this student, a female, stood in front and intimidate the others to behave. She appeared to be tall and muscular, sporting red skin and white hair.
She is identified as Sakura Ohgami, a hero-in-training student in the main course of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, and is given the hero name of Fighting Ogre, and there she told the arrogant students to let the headmaster deal with this and to leave Naegi alone.
"Now here this…stop this foolishness and return to your classrooms…for face me!"
"…"

"…"
"…"
The Steering Committee members were not pleased at the turn of events, as they did not anticipate that another main course student would take Naegi's side, and they huddled and tried to come up with a plan to pressure the headmaster to have Naegi expelled at all costs.
"This is bad…"
"Never thought something like this would happen…"
"What now?"
"We got to do something…"
"Yes…we can't let that brat be placed in the main course…"
"Maybe we should try influence that woman…"
"But we need a careful planning…"
"Then we should hurry…"
Then another main course student showed up, and the arrogant students were not pleased on who appeared, as this student is revealed to be Kiyotaka Ishimaru, the hero-in-training student within the main course of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, who is well-known as the Prefect, and there he told the main course students that they are acting in a shameful way of picking on a reserve course student who did not do anything that disrupt the peace within the academy.
"You lot are embarrassing! Picking on a reserve course student just because he was interviewed by the student council? Look at you! You are acting like rioters instead of model students! You should be ashamed of yourselves!"
"…"
"…"

"…"
"…"
By then the headmaster showed up and gave the arrogant main course students a warning, saying that he will not hesitate to expel them if they continue to harass Naegi for petty and shallow reasons, and the arrogant students were in a state of disbelief at hearing this.
Nevertheless, they were forced to comply and returned to their classrooms, and the Steering Committee members confronted the headmaster, demanding that he expel Naegi for causing this outrage, but the headmaster stood up to them and reminded that four main course students witnessed everything, and if they see what the Steering Committee members are doing, they would go public and this would put the academy in bad light.
Moreover, the Steering Committee themselves would become targets if they are exposed, and he asked them if they want that, and the Steering Committee members conceded and left, and there the headmaster apologized to Naegi for what happened.
"Naegi…"
"Sir…"
"I'm very sorry for what happened…"
"Its okay."
"It's a good thing you didn't lose your cool…"
"…"
"Still…I want you to be on standby."
"Eh?"
Ishimaru and Ohgami approached Maizono, as it turns out that they are classmates, and they commended her for standing up against the arrogant students and said that she has the making of a hero, while Kibo glanced at Naegi, and the two nodded as they now have mutual respect.
At a corner, the student council president and the members watches on, seeing that things are going to be okay, and are now wondering what would happen next, as they are pondering on whether the headmaster would consider Naegi's transfer to the main course or have him remain at the reserve course.
To Be Continued...
Hope you liked this chapter, in which Naegi became a hot topic again, although this time in a rather positive light, as two more main course students came to his defense as they did not like the arrogant students' way of treating a fellow student just because he is in the reserve course.
The Steering Committee members are not pleased with how this turns out as the headmaster somehow quelled off the possible violence and managed to put the committee members in their places…
This chapter marks the DEBUT of Ishimaru and Ohgami, who turn out to be classmates of Maizono, and this may pace way for other Class 78 members to appear…
At any rate…Naegi didn't get expelled, and that's a good thing…

The next chapter starts a new arc…
And this would answer the question on whether Naegi would be invited to transfer to the main course or not…
