Well then, read on and enjoy!

Ch. 32: Toritsuke atsuryoku

Meanwhile, at Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, the scene shifts at the headmaster's office where Kizakura sighed in annoyance as he is working on some papers that Jin left behind, as paperwork is something Kizakura is not good at, and he wished that the situation at the police station be resolved so Jin would come back and finish the paperwork.

He glanced at the wall clock and realized that an hour has passed and there has been no call from Jin at the police station and he sensed that things appeared to be tense there given that the Steering Committee members are trying to pressure him into appeasing the hostile main course students' parents to release the arrested students.

He then glanced at the door where he could hear the Steering Committee members' voice behind the door of the headmaster's office, where they can be heard talking to the hostile main course students' parents, in which things are really getting tense as the parents are demanding that their children be released from police custody.

"Please! Calm down!"

"We will do what we can!"

"We promise to get your kids out!"

"So please…don't act rashly!"

"We will make our move!"

"So don't worry!"

"Your kids will be freed!"

"Yeah!"

Kizakura snickered seeing how SPINELESS the Steering Committee members are, as it was clear that they are motivated by money and power, and now the Steering Committee members are procrastinating just to appease the parents due to them being amongst the several financial backers of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.

He then received a text message from Jin, which says that he would be coming back late, due to the situation at the police station, which Kizakura sighed, as this would mean that he is stuck here doing the paperwork which he wished that there is a machine here that would do the work for him so that he won't have to do the HARD WORK that was tossed to him so suddenly.

"Maybe I should ask Jin to buy a mimeograph machine…"

Suddenly, the Steering Committee members came and entered, intending to intimidate and pressuring Jin into helping the hostile main course students get out of jail after getting an ULTIMATUM from the wealthy parents, believing that he is back, only to stare in dismay at seeing Kizakura, who told the Steering Committee members that Jin is STILL at the police station at this time, and he told the Steering Committee members to let the course take its time and not interfere.

He also ADVISED the Steering Committee members not to interfere, reminding them what would happen if they get into the BAD SIDE of the police chief if he gets pissed off if the Steering Committee members tried to influence the proceedings of the investigation as well as it this gets out to the public the Steering Committee members can kiss their paycheck goodbye.

"What was that?"

"What did you say…?"

"What are you…?"

"You heard me. Let the investigation take its course. The headmaster is also cooperating with the police regarding the matter. And it's best if you don't interfere. Believe me…piss off the police chief and he's going to do a press conference about some men in suits from Hope's Peak attempting to interfere…and if and when that happens…well…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Got that, boys…? So be good and be patient."

The Steering Committee members were not pleased with this and, facing pressure from the wealthy parents, the Steering Committee members had to resort into into intimidation, and demanded to Kizakura to contact Jin and have him exhaust all means to secure the hostile main course students' freedom no matter what, which Kizakura laughed rather loudly.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha…!"

"What the…?"

"Hey! What's so funny?!"

"Are you mocking us?"

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha…!"

"How dare you…!"

"You want to say goodbye to your job?"

"Don't get to full of yourself!"

Kizakura wasn't fazed and told the Steering Committee members that bailing the hostile main course students out on a selfish whim won't be easy due to some members of Class 78 being the witness to the crime and if the Steering Committee members are insisting on interfering on behalf of the hostile main course students they might get charged for obstruction and harassment, and told the Steering Committee members to wait and let the situation take its course.

"So…what it's gonna be? Want to interfere and get subpoena? It won't be good for the academy if you have get a bad track record…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"If I were you I'd leave and wait till morning…when the police give their statement…then that's when you idiots make your cue…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

Pissed off, the Steering Committee members left the headmaster's office and went to their quarters, pissed off and pressured due to their efforts being in vain, and they are worried that the wealthy parents are sure to be displeased if this situation reaches them, and the Steering Committee members are starting to run out of options.

They are starting to panic as the minutes passed, and they are discussing about what to do next, as it is imperative that the hostile main course students must be freed at once, since they are children of wealthy people who are supporting the academy financially, and if the parents are pissed off they would cut off the funding of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, which would spell trouble for them.

"Damn it!"

"We got to do something!"

"Indeed! The parents are going to get pissed!"

"That Kizakura is no help at all!"

"What should we do?"

"Think of something!"

"Me?"

"Yeah, use your head!"

Suddenly, their phone rang and one of the committee members answered it, and he soon panicked as the caller turn out to be the wealthy parent of one of the hostile main course students, and he told the Steering Committee members to do something or else he and the other parents would cut off the funding of Hope's Peak, which the Steering Committee members assured to them, in a panicking way, that they would do everything to secure their children's release.

"Please! Calm down!"

"We will do what we can!"

"We promise to get your kids out!"

"So please…don't act rashly!"

"We will make our move!"

"So don't worry!"

"Your kids will be freed!"

"Yeah!"

As the Steering Committee members are scrambling to appease the wealthy parents, two members of the student council overheard their rambling, and they sighed in annoyance at what they are doing, and it was clear that the Steering Committee members are scrambling to prevent a potential loss of financial backers and the two student council members decided to head back to the student council meeting room to tell the others what they just saw and hear.

At the police station, the lawyers are trying every legal means to persuade the police chief into releasing the arrested hostile main course students of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, but were unsuccessful as the police chief and Jin refused to back down due to the evidence found and the testimonies of the witnesses, thus the arrested students couldn't get any leverage.

At the other side of the room, Naegi is sitting down and is slightly distressed, as aside from the fact that it is already late in the evening, he realized that his apartment unit was partially damaged due to the attack by the hostile main course students, and now he has to think of a place to stay as going back to the apartment unit is not a good idea at the moment due to the area being cordoned by the police.

Suddenly, the parents of the hostile main course students arrived and approached Naegi, ticked off at seeing how plain-looking he is and couldn't believe that a reserve course student is the cause of their current distress, and they berated him for the distress he is causing, refusing to take the blame and the fact that their children were the root cause of current situation.

"You! You're the cause of this!"

"How dare you make false accusation towards our children?"

"You sure have the audacity to act like you're some kind of prima-donna!"

"…"

"How are you going to make up for this?"

"You should be ashamed of yourself!"

"You ought to be punished!"

"…"

Naegi was slightly intimidated but did not back down. And told them squarely that their children are the ones at fault as they started it and even told them that their children caused considerable damage to the apartment unit he is staying and that their actions were un-heroic, and thus the blame falls squarely on them, which the parents felt offended at being told off by someone whom they believed is beneath them.

"Sorry…but the blame falls squarely on your children."

"What the…?"

"What did you say?!"

"Are you mocking us?"

"Deny all you want…but the fact remains the same. Your children are at fault. And they have to face the consequences."

"How dare you…!"

"You think you're the judge?"

"Don't get to full of yourself!"

As the arrogant parents took turns in berating Naegi, they did not notice that Kibo is watching them and the teen cyborg is awaiting his next move depending on what the hostile parents are about to do, as he couldn't blindly accost them without justifiable proof, as he sees that the hostile parents are goading Naegi into laying a hand on them so as to give basis that Naegi is the guilty party.

As Naegi silently stood his ground, one of the hostile parents tried an underhanded tactic which he hopes that Naegi would change his mind and withdraw the charges against the hostile main course students, by which he brought out a check with a written an amount, which you can see that the amount written is one million Yen, which Naegi stared wide-eyed in disbelief.

"Here…"

"What…"

"Would this be enough…?"

"What are you…?"

"A chance of a lifetime…"

"You…"

"This…you can encash it…all you have to do is…"

"…"

As the parent tries to goad Naegi into accepting, the other parents watched on, expecting that he would be tempted into accepting the bribe, but he turned away, and there Kibo came and grabbed the wrist of the parent who is using the check to bribe Naegi, surprising the others and gasped at seeing a real cyborg in full view, as this was the first time seeing one.

Kibo then told the bribing individual that what he is doing shows that the hostile main course students are never hero students to begin with and said that he made a mistake by trying to bribe Naegi into recanting his testimony, and tells the rest that their actions have dug their children's graves.

"Now I see why those main course students are so full of themselves…and why they went far as causing destruction at Naegi-sensei's apartment unit…its all because of you!"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"If I were you I'd leave immediately and wait till morning…when the police give their statement…then that's when you idiots make your cue…until then its best that you stay away from Naegi-sensei...now."

"…"

"…"

"…"

One of the arrogant lawyers showed up and took a picture of Kibo MANHANDLING his client and said that they now have proof that Kibo has ABUSED his privilege and shows that being around Naegi is proof that reserve course students can CORRUPT the main course students and now they will file an appeal to have the reserve course abolished, which the arrogant parents roared in approval.

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

The police chief and Jin came after hearing the ruckus and there the hostile parents accused Jin of MORALLY CORRUPTING the main course students of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy by putting up with the reserve course students and made it appear that Naegi is harassing the hostile parents and said that he will ALWAYS GET AWAY with anything he wants.

The lawyer then produced a picture of Kibo ASSAULTING his client, which the police commissioner is in a pinch as he needed solid proof before making a decision, as he knows that the lawyers are using Naegi and Kibo as scapegoats, and are using this to pressure Jin into releasing the arrested main course students and to have Naegi expelled.

Kibo told the police chief and Jin what he found out but the lawyers said that he has no proof, and made it appear that the teen cyborg is being MORALLY CORRUPTED by a reserve course student like Naegi, telling and urging him to sever his ties with Naegi or he might end up with the wrong company.

"I implore you! Expel that Naegi and dissolve the reserve course department of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy! Do it, I say! Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

The arrogant parents then made their stand and urged the police chief to release the hostile main course students from custody, saying that they are being held UNJUSTIFIABLY and made their cases known.

"I implore you! Release our children!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"

"Do it!"
