I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here you will see what happened next as the events from the previous chapter are set to take over and what implications would happen in regards to Naegi…now that he is a main course student and assigned to Class 78…

Ch. 36: Atarashī kurasumēto
Much later, the scene shifts at the classroom of Class 78, where Togami is reading a book whilst Asahina is asking Maizono if she is interested in Naegi, causing the latter to blush, and Asahina said that it is okay, as Naegi is cute-looking even though he looked quite plain and simple, while Hagakure said that his crystal ball SAYS that something surprising would happen, causing the two girls and Kuwata to ask if Hagakure is sure about what he said.
"Eh?"
"What?"
"You serious?"
"Well…that's what my crystal ball says…"
"…"
"…"
"…"
"Its true! I swear!"
Suddenly, Kizakura came and told the class that they have a new classmate, which he motions Naegi to enter, and the latter was surprised as he finds out that the main course students who helped him previously would become his new classmates, and most of Class 78 expressed surprise and delight upon realizing that Naegi, the boy they recently helped, would become their newest addition to their class.
Naegi himself is surprised upon seeing the main course students who helped him before, and there Kizakura told him that Class 78 will be his new section, and that the students before him will be his new classmates, as well as saying that for the time being he will still be sharing the dorm room with Kibo until the headmaster could come up with something to give Naegi a dorm unit of his own.
"…and that's how things would be…"
"So then…this would be my…"
"Yup. The students who helped you before will be your new classmates."
"…"
"And Class 78 will be your new section. So try to get along with them."
"O-okay…"
"Believe me. You'll enjoy your new school life here…"
"…"
Maizono was surprised the most upon hearing what Kizakura said, and there Asahina whispered to Maizono to go and greet Naegi, saying that this is a perfect opportunity to become friends with him, which Maizono blushed deeply as she finds herself embarrassed to approach Naegi, as she is overwhelmed by the sudden situation.
"Go on, Maizono-chan…"
"Huh?"
"Go greet him."
"Um…"
"This is your chance…you might snag a boyfriend…"
"Asahina-san…!"
"See…? You're blushing…so you really…"
"Not so loud…!"
Ishimaru decided to make his move and motions Naegi to come inside and make him feel comfortable in his new class, as he had a feeling that Naegi is overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events since a few hours ago he is a reserve course student and now he just got transferred to the main course department of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.
"Naegi-kun! Come in!"
"Uh…okay…"
"Welcome to the main course department! Welcome to Class 78!"
"Er…thanks…"
"From hereon…this will be your section…and we are your classmates!"
"Okay…"
"You now have the potential to become a pro hero once you graduate…"
"Yeah..."
As most of Class 78 began to make Naegi feel at home at his new class, Kizakura adjusted his hat before smirking, feeling that something good is bound to happen and took his leave, not noticing that nearby main course students saw this and are surprised to see that a reserve course student has been transferred here, and they were at lost for words on how something like this happened.
"What the…?"
"That guy…"
"He's from the reserve course…"
"How did he…?"
"I can't believe what I'm seeing…"
"This is impossible…"
"Something is definitely suspicious here…"
"I agree…"
As the other main course students began whispering amongst themselves, Togami secretly noticed them and deduced that they appeared to be less receptive of the fact and that they are probably planning to file a motion for reconsideration, as, in the eyes of the other main course students, they believed that a reserve course student has no right to be transferred to the main course department, and they believed that something UNDERHANDED took place.
Togami could hear the less-receptive main course students at the hallway are glaring at Naegi as they believed that the aforementioned boy may have bribed his way which resulted in him becoming a main course student, which to the eyes of the other main course students, is totally unacceptable.
"Do you really believe this…?"
"That reserve course student sure has the nerve…"
"He's just a reserve course student…how was he able to…?"
"How did he managed to…?"
"I am pretty sure…he must've bribed the headmaster…"
"That's possible…"
"Something is definitely suspicious here…we got to do something…"
"I agree…"

At the private quarters of the Steering Committee members, the aforementioned members are wondering what to do as they are worried that they would lose their FINANCIAL BACKERS and SUPPORT now that the parents of the hostile main course students are being jailed for obstruction and bribery, and they couldn't believe that a mere boy like Naegi is the root cause of all this and now the Steering Committee members are determined to come up with a way to kick Naegi out of the main course department.
"That Naegi…he really is a headache!"
"I agree!"
"He's just a reserve course student! A maggot who doesn't belong to the higher echelon of Hope's Peak!"
"That's right! How the heck was he able to climb his way to get Kirigiri's attention?"
"Something is definitely up!"
"That's right!"
"We got to do something!"
"We can't let that brat…"
Their woes intensified as a fellow Steering Committee member came and informed the others of the information he gathered, telling them that Naegi is now a main course student and is assigned to Class 78, causing the other Steering Committee members to stand up and state in disbelief upon hearing this, finding it unprecedented.
The Steering Committee member told the rest about how he got the word and that Jin Kirigiri himself made the paperwork and everything is now legal, and the rest of the Steering Committee members find it insulting that a mere reserve course student became a main course student in a blink of an eye, as they deem him a BLACK EYE within Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.
"No way!"
"It can't be!"
"Unbelievable!"
"Damn it!"
"I can't accept this!"
"Totally unacceptable!"
"This is an insult!"
"The nerve of that boy!"
The Steering Committee members huddled as they need a plan that is foolproof so as to have a strong leverage that would compel the headmaster to revoke Naegi's transfer to the main course department and either send him back to the reserve course or expel him altogether, as they cannot let a mere GARBAGE like Naegi STAIN the VERY PURE IMAGE of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.
"We got to do something and kick that brat out of Hope's Peak! Are you guys on board?"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
As the Steering Committee members are scrambling to come up with a way to smear Naegi and make him unfit as a main course student, they are unaware that two members of the Hope's Peak Superhero Academy Student Council are secretly listening outside the room, having overheard the rather loud PRIVATE conversation.
The two student council members sighed in dismay seeing that the Steering Committee members are getting jittered over a student who genuinely showed promise, who proved that even a reserve course student can be scouted and become eligible to be transferred to the main course department, and yet the selfishness of the Steering Committee members and the arrogance of some main course students serve as an obstacle.
"Those idiots…"
"They really are…"
"Are they really insecure over that boy…?"
"Looks to me that they are…"
"How vexing…"
"Are they really that selfish…?"
"They sure are…"
"They really are idiots…"
The student council members decided to leave as they intend to report to the student council president about what they just discovered and to debate about what to do next now that word is out that Makoto Naegi has been transferred to the main course department.
"Lets go."
"Yeah."
"We better not waste time."
"Right."
"Should we tell the rest of the student council members?"
"Of course. They need to know."
"…"
"…"

Later, the scene shifts at the classroom within the main school building, where it houses one of the elite sections of Hope's Peak Superhero Academy, where the section is revealed as Class 80, where Kibo is amongst the students shown, and he is seen studying his notes, and there his classmates approached him, and the classmates are revealed as:
- Kaede Akamatsu - The Pianist
- Suichi Saihara – The Detective Boy
- Kokichi Oma - The President
- Tsumugi Shirogane - Lady Cosplayer
- Ryoma Hoshi - The Racket Warrior
- Miu Iruma – Gadget Girl
- Maki Harukawa – Lady Sensei
- Himiko Yumeno – The Mage
- Gonta Gokuhara – Insector
- Korekiyo Shinguji – Mr. Folklore
- Kirumi Tojo - Mistress Maid
- Tenko Chibashira – Aikido Mistress
- Kaito Momota - The Astronaut
They asked Kibo what would he do if Naegi gets scouted and becomes eligible to be transferred to the main course department, which the teen cyborg said that if that happens then it is good, as it would show that anyone deserves a chance as Naegi has proven himself and has potential to become a pro hero once he graduates.
The classmates are also wondering that if Naegi do gets scouted and transferred, which section would he be placed, as Class 80 expressed interest in becoming Naegi's classmate, which they are intrigued at what Naegi is like, as they only heard of him through word-of-mouth comments from Kibo, as they believed that Naegi is a friendly person, which Kibo confirm that Naegi is indeed a kind person.
"What you hear is true. Naegi-sensei is very down-to-earth…"
"Huh?"
"Really?"
"For real…?"
"Sounds intriguing…"
"Is he interested in insects…?"
"Does he like cosplay…?"
"I think he needs cleaning up..."
Suddenly, Anji Yonaga came and said that she saw it all, that Naegi is now a main course student and is sorted to Class 78, surprising the rest of Class 80 and asked Yonaga if she is sure about what she said, as they didn't expect something like this to happen so soon and all of the sudden, as they have no idea that everything happened so fast.
"Its true! Naegi is now a main course student! He just got assigned to Class 78!"
"What?"
"What?"

Hope you liked this chapter, in which Naegi became a hot topic again, although this time the circumstances surrounding the event has changed, and right now he is effectively a main course student and is now part of Class 78, which surprised majority of the Class 78 members…
Class 80, who are the characters from Danganronpa V3, appeared as a section, and they too are intrigued about Naegi after hearing from Kibo about Naegi's situation, and now they are taken aback by the fact that Naegi has been transferred while assigned to Class 78, and this would no doubt surprise them…
However, Naegi's transfer was not well-received as the Steering Committee members and some main course students are not pleased by this and believed that Naegi has bribed his way through and are now going to EXPOSE him, unwilling to accept that Naegi actually earned the right…

The next chapter will show what would happen next regarding the Naegi situation…whether the fact that Naegi has been transferred to the main course department would be well-received by majority of the main course students or not…
And there would be some resistance of sorts…
