Ch. 42: Hitojichi no jōkyō part 3
The scene shifts at Shibuya Tower, where the hostage-takers, dressed in brown SWAT gears and black vests entered Shibuya Sky and surrounded the entrance and exit areas.
Armed with high-powered weapons, they aimed it at the terrified visitors and told them to stay where they are as they are now hostages and will be used as ransom which the hostages offered their valuables in exchange for their freedom, as they believed that the hostage-takers are after money and nothing more, as they brought out their gadgets, money and jewelry.
"Here!"
"Take this!"
"Its brand new!"
"Take my credit card!"
"My ring is worth over a million Yen..."
"Just don't kill us!"
"We'll give you anything!"
"So please…"
One of the hostages observe the situation calmly but his eyes went wide-eyed as one of the hostage-takers came and said that money is not what they are after, and threatened to shoot them if they do not shut up, pushing the machine gun's nozzle onto one of the wealthy visitors, which one of the hostages, who is a wine shop owner, was in a state of disbelief as the hostage-taker in question, appeared to be a teenager!
"Keep it to yourself."
"Huh?"
"Eh?"
"What?"
"Utter a single letter and I'll shoot you on the spot…"
"Huh?"
"Eh?"
"What?"
The Wine Shop owner was shocked at what he is seeing, as the teenage hostage-taker is holding a high-powered weapon aiming at the hostages, and what's more, he appeared to be a member of a group as other hostage-takers surrounded the place and the leader gives the teen cohort some instructions which he obliged without question.
"You know the drill?"
"Yes."
"If anyone makes an attempt to escape, kill."
"Yes."
"Be it a man, woman or child. If there is an escape attempt, take no prisoners."
"Yes."
"So do it accordingly."
"Yes."
The leader of the hostage-takers then brought out a smartphone and contacted the mayor of Tokyo and Shibuya via ZOOM, where he told them that they are holding hostages and made a demand, in which they are to secure the release of a dangerous terrorist leader and told the two mayors that if they are not going to give in to the demands they are going to execute a hostage in every 10 minutes until no one is left.
The mayors were rebuked the demands and called them idiots, saying that they won't get anything from the authorities of Tokyo and Shibuya, as they believed that the hostage-takers are merely bluffing, and told them to take their STUNTS elsewhere, and instead told them that the police will capture them in no time.
"Get lost!"
"Put an egg on your shoe!"
"You idiot!"
"This isn't a charity show!"
"Jerk off!"
"Don't waste our time!"
"Find a hooker!"
"Yeah!"
Anticipating this, the leader of the hostage-takers aimed the live footage at the hostages, where one of the gunmen grabbed a female hostage, a woman who is eight months pregnant, and there they made her stand outside the establishment before one of the hostage-takers brought out an RPG and fired a shell, hitting and killing the pregnant woman while her remains were splattered towards the ground below, causing the other hostages to scream in terror.
"EEEEEEKKKK!"
"KKKKKKKYYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"
"WWWWWWAAAAAHHHH!"
"HHHHHHEEEEELLLPPPPP!"
"EEEEEEKKKK!"
"KKKKKKKYYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"

Everyone was shocked at what they saw and noticed that the teen hostage-taker just stood there like nothing happened, and they all wondered will happen to them, seeing that the hostage-takers are…indifferent to the suffering of other people who are now distressed after seeing such horrifying display of cruelty from the hostage-takers who simply wanted a ransom of releasing a dangerous terrorist.
Just a few moments away, both Kibo and Naegi heard the sounds of explosion and the hostages screaming, and there Kibo and Naegi contacted each other via codecs, and the two teen hero students agreed that Kibo should go and draw the hostage-takers' attention while Naegi will lead the hostages away to safety.
"Naegi-sensei…the situation is getting serious…!"
"Yeah, I agree."
"I will go ahead first. I'll distract them then you get the hostages safely out of this building!"
"Are you sure about this, Kibo?"
"Don't worry. My body can absorb the bullet impact!"
"Okay, once the hostages are safe, I'll come back and assist you."
"Fine with me. Let's go!"
"Okay!"
Meanwhile, the two mayors were taken by surprise, and what's more, the footage of the conversation and the death of the pregnant woman were recorded and the leader of the hostage-takers said that the two mayors' foolishness will bounce back at them for looking down at the hostage-takers and told them that this will be leaked to the media.
Indeed the hostage-takers were true to their word as police and SWAT arrived after seeing the remains of the pregnant woman, and the conversation was leaked to the media and social media, and the mayors of Tokyo and Shibuya were berated for their carelessness, while the Diet were sent into a frenzy as they are determined not to give in to the hostage-takers' demands.

At the Diet building, various Diet officials are scrambling as they are facing a dilemma as the hostage-takers demanded that they release a criminal identified as Seizan Tokugawa, in which the Diet officials realized that the hostage-takers turn out to be Shade, which the Diet officials became worried and are now more than determined to either capture them or eliminate them discreetly and secretly as much as possible.
As it turns out, originally an anti-terrorist unit which deals with eliminating dangerous terrorists on behalf of the Japanese diet, it was a huge asset in keeping the peace and order situation within Japan until Shade was eventually disbanded when its acts of human experimentation were publicly revealed with its leader Seizan Tokugawa arrested.
This happened just roughly two months ago, which the Shade members were making plans to secure Tokugawa's release and to try an experiment to keep the police and possible soldiers at bay if things went SOUTH, and seeing a teenager coincidentally passing by, Shade members came up with an idea and planned the abduction, and intend to use him for their plans.
In retaliation, the remaining rogue Shade operators seized the Shibuya Tower building and made threats of a live broadcast for a single hostage to be killed every minute if their leader isn't released within two hours. And the murder of the pregnant woman is just the start, and now the Diet officials are making steps to stop Shade, secure the hostages and to keep the secrets a secret before Shade attempted to expose the Diet's involvement.
"We got to do something!"
"Shade must be stopped!"
"I agree! We can't let them expose the secret!"
"We should kill them!"
"But what about the hostages?"
"We should sacrifice them! Our priority now is to eliminate Shade no matter what!"
"You can't be serious!"
"Do you know what you're saying?"

Back at the Shibuya Tower, hostages could only watch helplessly as 15 minutes have passed, and about 15 hostages were shot at point-blank range before being thrown out of the building and hit the ground below, and the hostages were wailing as they are fearful of being the next to be shot to death, and facing the camera where the footage is aired live, the hostages demanded to the Diet to give in to the demands so the hostages would be set free.
"SAVE US!"
"WE DON'T WANT TO DIE!"
"DO SOMETHING!"
"GIVE IN TO THEIR DEMANDS!"
"SAVE US!"
"WE DON'T WANT TO DIE!"

"GIVE IN TO THEIR DEMANDS!"
As the next minute is up, the Shade members chose the Wine Shop owner as the next sacrifice, and not wanting this to happen, a female hostage bravely offer herself as the next sacrifice, and took his hand and tried to verbally reach out to him, attempting to snap the teen out of the situation he is involved in.
Then she asked the teen hostage-taker if this is what he wanted, reminding him that he has a family waiting for him, which the Shade members are becoming alarmed, as it is revealed that after abducting the unidentified teenager, they brainwashed the teen into becoming a Shade member before indoctrinating him.
"Hey!"
"…"
"Don't listen to her!"
"…"
"Shoot her down!"
"…"
"Are you listening?"
"…"
At this point, Kibo crashed through the door and the Shade terrorists were taken by surprise, and there the squad leader became alarmed, not expecting something like this and ordered his men to shoot down Kibo, failing to notice the fact that Kibo is a cyborg, and the other terrorists were eager to shoot an intruder down and nodded in acknowledgement.
"Yes sir!"
"Yes sir!"
"Yes sir!"

The terrorists opened fire and sprayed Kibo with bullets, but to their surprise the bullets dented while bouncing off, and there they noticed Kibo's metallic arms and body underneath his civilian clothes, but the terrorist group leader was unwilling to lose, and ordered his men to keep shooting, which they nodded in acknowledgement, seemingly failing to realize that they are fighting a metallic cyborg.
"Yes sir!"

The terrorists kept on shooting, using high-powered weapons as sounds of gunfire were loud and deafening, causing the other hostages to cover their ears and became terrified, so terrified that the hostages cringed in fear and began to scream in terror.
"EEEEEEKKKK!"
"KKKKKKKYYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"
"WWWWWWAAAAAHHHH!"
"HHHHHHEEEEELLLPPPPP!"
