Ch. 48: Atarashī wariate part 3

Minutes later, the scene shifts inside the headmaster's office where Jin is waiting until Kizakura arrived, with Naegi and Maizono in tow, and the two teens were surprised to see that Saihara and Akamatsu are also there, and the latter two students were also surprised to see Naegi and Maizono coming here as well, not expecting to see them here.

"Huh?"

"Aren't they…?"

"Huh? Naegi…?"

"Naegi!"

"Saihara? Akamatsu?"

"You know them, Naegi?"

"Naegi…were you summoned too…?"

"What a coincidence…"

Jin then spoke and told the four teens that he summoned them here as he said that he is assigning them for an assignment and felt that the four of them would be enough, saying that they are going to assist the police as there is a situation at this time and that the four teens' help are needed, surprising Naegi, Maizono, Saihara and Akamatsu, as they didn't expect that they would be assigned to do a hero activity so soon and so sudden.

There Jin opened a cabinet drawer and brought out a folder, where he is about to open it, and just as he is about to tell the four students what their assignment would be, some members of the Steering Committee came barging in, protesting to Jin about the inclusion of Naegi in the upcoming hero assignment and urged him to exclude Naegi, reasoning that the latter is not a Main Course student and demanded that Jin find a replacement.

"Listen, Kirigiri! That brat is still a Reserve Course student! Therefore we won't let him participate since this is for the Main Course students! So exclude that brat and replace him at once!"

"Replace him!"

"And you better send him back to the Reserve Course department since he belonged there, so do it now!"

"Do it now!"

Jin did not budge and told the Steering Committee members to leave Naegi alone, saying that the boy is now OFFICIALLY a Main Course student and that he has already earned the right and there is no question about it, which the Steering Committee members are unwilling to accept, and reiterated that Naegi is still a Reserve Course student and he either be placed back to the Reserve Course or he be expelled from Hope's Peak Academy.

"I reiterate! Makoto Naegi is still a Reserve Course student, therefore I order you to send him back to the Reserve Course department immediately!"

"Send him back!"

"Or rather…expel him since he cheated his way here!"

"Expel him!"

However, Saihara and Akamatsu came to Naegi's defense and told the Steering Committee members to stop harassing Naegi as he had already proven himself and there is no need for this, and they told the Steering Committee members to leave at once as they are doing nothing but causing disruption and trouble here as all they do is pick on Naegi, who has not done anything that puts Hope's Peak Academy in a bad light.

Moreover, the two Class 80 members reiterated that Naegi is now a Main Course student and that he has every right to study at the Main Course department and thus the Steering Committee members have no right dictating things as Jin holds the right on what to do with Naegi and what is best for Hope's Peak Academy, much to the Steering Committee members' disbelief.

There the Steering Committee members tried to assert their dominance and pressure Jin to remove Naegi from the Main Course department and send him back to the Reserve Course department or expel him altogether.

"I repeat my demands! I say Makoto Naegi is still a Reserve Course student, therefore I order you to send him back to the Reserve Course department immediately!"

"Send him back!"

"Or perhaps…expel him since he cheated his way here! He is undesirable and has no place here! So expel him immediately!"

"Expel him!"

Surprisingly, Kizakura steps in, where he waved a smartphone and claimed that he recorded the conversation and even PLAYFULLY THREATENED to send the footage on various social media like Facebook and Twitter if the Steering Committee doesn't stop their foolish antics, which the Steering Committee members were taken aback by Kizakura's unexpected actions.

"So, gentlemen…would you like to stop this nonsense or would you rather that I send it to Twitter or Instagram? It'll make you popular, no?"

"Damn you…"

As Kizakura smirked, the Steering Committee members were forced to relent and left the office, which Jin thanked Kizakura for the help, which the latter smirked and revealed that he was just bluffing so as to make the Steering Committee members take the bait thus they are forced to leave.

After that, Jin proceeded to tell Naegi, Maizono, Saihara and Akamatsu about their assignment, in which they are to provide escort and protection to a visiting foreign princess as she is due to arrive here in Tokyo in a matter of two days from now, and there Jin revealed that the police received intel that someone is after the foreign princess, and this is why Jin summoned the four teens here.

"A…princess…?"

"From another country…?"

"And she's coming to Japan?"

"For real…?"

"Yes. And she's from a European country."

"Eh?"

"Like in England?"

"Seriously?"

"A European princess…"

According to the police intel, the attacker is said to be quote problematic as he managed to get past police barricade and even managed to make the police scamper but the attacker backed away upon seeing that his intended target isn't here, which prompted the police to seek Hope's Peak Superhero Academy for help in stopping the attacker before he causes an incident that would put Japan in a bad light.

Naegi, Maizono, Saihara and Akamatsu glanced at each other before deciding to accept the assignment which Jin nodded and told the four students that they are to be dispatched at once, which the four students nodded and are ready to leave as immediately.

"So…are you willing to accept this assignment?"

"Yes sir."

"Are you prepared for this?"

"Yes sir."

Jin then brought out the picture of the said foreign princess, which the four students glanced at the picture, which it shows that the foreign princess is identified as Sonia Nevermind, a princess from a European country called Novoselic, which is located within the European Union, situated near England, Ireland and Scotland.

Saihara took the picture and glanced at it, as he began using his detective talents as he began to mentally investigate if the Royal Family of Novoselic had made enemies in and out of that country which led to Jin telling the four Hope's Peak students that Sonia's life is in danger, and as Akamatsu glanced at the picture, she asked Saihara if they are going to provide security to Sonia, which Saihara nodded, seeing that this is probably why the headmaster summoned him, Akamatsu, Maizono and Naegi here and assigned them for this assignment.

"Its more than likely that we'll be doing more than playing bodyguards."

"Really?"

"Yeah. And your talents would play a good part here given your expertise in pianos."

"Well…"

"Maizono would also have a role…being a talented singer due to being an idol…"

"Good point. But what about Naegi?"

"…"

"Huh?"

As Naegi glanced at the picture, he finds himself rather attracted to Sonia, which Maizono showed signs of jealousy and asked Naegi if he is planning to woo the princess once the assignment is a success, which Naegi is taken aback and told Maizono that he doesn't intend to do that, as Saihara and Akamatsu sweat-dropped, discovering that Maizono has taken a liking towards Naegi after seeing her getting jealous over the Novoselic princess, as Maizono began bombarding Naegi with incessant questions if he took a liking towards Sonia.

"Saihara…why is Maizono…?"

"Looks like she's jealous…or insecure…"

"Over a foreign princess…?"

"Well…given that she saw how Naegi reacted when glancing at the picture…"

"So Maizono likes Naegi...?"

"From a detective's point of view…"

"Really…?"

"…"

As Naegi, Saihara and Akamatsu attempted to calm Maizono down, Kizakura snickered a bit while adjusting his fedora hat while Jin sighed as he believes that the four teens are accepting the assignment, and there he told the four students that they will be deployed tomorrow as Sonia Nevermind and her entourage will be arriving tomorrow at the airport, and urged them to protect her at all costs while aiding the federal agents in exposing and stopping the would-be assassins.

However, several hostile Main Course students came barging in, where they are protesting to the fact that Naegi is being part of a hero-based assignment and they demanded to Jin that Naegi be removed from that assignment on the basis that Naegi is still a Reserve Course student and that he be sent back to the Reserve Course department, insisting that he is not a Main Course student.

"Headmaster! We demanded that you kick that Naegi out of the Main Course department! He's nothing but a fraud who cheated his way here! He has no right and he's just a lowly Reserve Course student! "

"Send him back!"

"And we mean it! That brat has no right being here so kick him out if here already and make him stay at the Reserve Course department where he belongs!"

"Send him back!"

However, Maizono, Saihara and Akamatsu stood in front of Naegi and told the hostile Main Course students to stop harassing Naegi and leave him alone, reiterating that Naegi himself has proven the fact that he earned the right and never cheated his way to the Main Course department and told the hostile Main Course students that they have no right dictating Naegi as he did not cause any problems here.

But the hostile Main Course students would not budge and reiterated that Naegi be removed from the Main Course department as he is no more than a BLACK EYE within Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.

"I don't give a damn what you say! That Naegi is a parasite and he should be kicked out of Hope's Peak! Headmaster…expel him at once!"

"Expel him!"

Worsening the matter, the Steering Committee members came back, and seeing this they feel that they found some leverage and joined the hostile Main Course students in protesting Naegi's inclusion to the upcoming hero-based assignment, and tried to pressure Jin into expelling Naegi from the Main Course department and either sent Naegi back to the Reserve Course department or expel him from Hope's Peak Superhero Academy.

"You heard what the students said…give in to their demands…expel that brat as he is no more than an embarrassment to this prestigious academy!"

"Expel him!"

The hostile Main Course students, seeing that they found allies in protesting against a common enemy, also voiced their demands and urged the headmaster to expel Naegi from Hope's Peak Superhero Academy or they would hold a huge protest and will not stop until Naegi is expelled from the academy.

"Expel him!"

Hope you liked this chapter, in which Naegi is moving on after the hostage situation assignment…but then he gets called by the headmaster, along with Maizono, while at the same time Saihara and Akamatsu were also summoned by the headmaster…

And here the four students are given new a assignment which they are set to BODYGUARD a foreign princess from a European country.

However, trouble brewed as some hostile Main Course students showed up to protest Naegi's inclusion to this new assignment…
