Ch. 2: Endebā to no saisho no deai
On the eve of New Year (December 31), the scene shifts at the Yaoyorozu manor, where Momo is celebrating with her parents, and there Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu expressed surprise when told that their only child would be interning with the current number one pro hero, Endeavor, and they appeared to be impressed as this would be a big help, as they expressed sympathy when learning from their daughter of her experience during her first internship under Uwabami, though they are fine with it as it gave Momo some exposure and helped her gain popularity.
"Now, now…no need to dig up the past…it's all behind you now…"
"Yes, Momo…right now you are about to have a work studies with the current number one pro hero…"
"Yes, dad…mom…"
"Although I admit that your internship with Uwabami helped you…"
"Yes, it increased your popularity and even earned you a lot of fans…"
"…"
"So your first internship isn't a total waste…"
"Indeed. The UNERI commercial was a success…"
"…"
Momo sighed as she told her parents not to remind her of the commercial she had with Uwabami, saying that she didn't achieve anything yet her parents assured to her that her first internship was helpful, and now that she is going to intern under Endeavor, Momo is sure to benefit a lot, since she would work alongside her classmate, Shoto, who is Endeavor's son, though they have a few reservations.
Mr. Yaoyorozu pointed out that she would work alongside Bakugo, as he revealed how he saw him on TV during the live broadcast of the UA Sports Festival, and while he is strong, his personality makes a stark contrast, especially during the closing ceremony, and Mr. Yaoyorozu made it clear that he is worried that Bakugo's attitude might become a bad influence on Momo, though Momo assured that Bakugo is a fine boy who aims to become a pro hero like All Might.
"Dad, please calm yourself. There is nothing for you to worry. Bakugo's a fine classmate. He may be a bit aggressive but he's training to become a pro hero."
"Really, Momo?"
"Yes."
"I'm just worried…seeing that boy's attitude during the closing ceremony of the UA Sports Festival…I am worried that his might get into a conflict with yours…"
"That won't happen, dad. Believe me."
"You sure?"
"Yup."
"…very well…"
Nodding after seeing that Momo would be fine, Mr. Yaoyorozu then went to the next topic, which is Izuku Midoriya, and showing her the footage he recorded, he asked his daughter if she would be okay as he pointed out that Midoriya seemed to be a liability whenever he uses his Quirk that resulted in injuring his own arms, though Yaoyorozu said that Midoriya has vastly improved and that he now uses kicks instead of punches when using his Quirk.
Mrs. Yaoyorozu then glanced at the tablet where Midoriya's picture is shown, and commented that other than a few mild freckles, she finds him good-looking, though she is slightly unimpressed about his height (Momo was 5'8 while Midoriya is 5'5), though she wondered if Midoriya would woo Momo, prompting Mr. Yaoyorozu to proclaim that he will judge if Midoriya is worthy, causing Momo to stare wide-eyed and told her dad to knock it off, saying that something like that would never happen.
"Dad!"
"What?"
"Please stop with that nonsense theory! You are wrongly assuming things!"
"Why? I was just…"
"Its not going to happen!"
"Who knows? What if this Midoriya plan to visit you here and…"
"I said stop it, dad!"
"Come on, Momo…you're at the right age to accommodate suitors…"

At the apartment complex where the Midoriya family is staying, Izuku suddenly sneezed, as he felt that someone is talking about him, though he is unsure who, unaware that his name was brought up by Mr. Yaoyorozu who proclaimed that he will judge Izuku himself personally if the latter intend to woo Momo.
Inko asked her son of he is okay, which he nodded, and as they are celebrating the impending countdown to January 1, Midoriya accidentally glanced at a picture frame where the Midoriya family is shown, featuring Inko, Izuku and the patriarch, Hisashi. Izuku slowly went sullen as he realized that he hasn't seen his dad for several years, ever since he was diagnosed for being Quirkless.
Inko noticed it and assured to her son that Hisashi will come home and that soon Izuku would spend time with his dad once he comes back from his overseas work, though Izuku just nodded, knowing that it would not happen for a while as Hisashi hasn't come home ever since, as Inko was the one who solely raised her.
"Izuku…it's okay. Your dad would come home."
"Yes, mom…"
"I'm sure that when he does, you two would spend time together."
"Yes, mom…"
"So don't feel sad."
"Yes, mom…"
"It'll be okay."
"Yes, mom…"

A few days later, the scene shifts at a train station where Todoroki is waiting, and moments later, Midoriya, Bakugo and Yaoyorozu arrived, all wearing their UA Academy uniforms, and there he greeted his three classmates a Happy New Year, which the trio returned the greetings, as the four classmates are looking forward to their upcoming Work Studies under Endeavor, as Midoriya, Bakugo and Yaoyorozu are bracing themselves for a tough internship as they are going to be interning with the current number one pro hero.
"Are you guys ready? We'll be interning under Endeavor. And believe me…it won't be that easy."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
"You guys think you're up to the challenge? We'll be training with the current number one pro hero."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
After that, the four Class 1-A members boarded the train and the train began to depart, heading towards an unspecified location, but about an hour or so later, the four Class 1-A members arrived at the train station and upon exiting, they meet up with the current number one pro hero, who is waiting for them, and there Yaoyorozu confided to Midoriya that this is her first time seeing Endeavor in person.
"Hey, Midoriya..."
"Yeah…?"
"That's him, right? The pro hero Endeavor?"
"Yeah, that's Endeavor."
"He looked a bit different when in person…"
"Yeah. I met him before backstage during the Sports Festival..."
"Really? You encountered him before?"
"Yeah."
There Endeavor gives a surprising and warm welcome to Midoriya, Bakugo and Yaoyorozu in his agency of heroes, only to quickly change his mood and show his distaste for their presence, surprising Yaoyorozu. There Endeavor does not hesitate to tell the three Class 1-A members that he only accepted them because his son asked him to, and he would have preferred Shoto to come alone.
"Okay, listen up."
"…"
"…"
"…"
"I only accepted you because Shoto asked me to, but I really prefer to train my son alone, so don't go expecting that you would get special treatment and stuff."
"…"
"…"
"…"
Shoto tells him to stop complaining since he already accepted them, and Katsuki has no problem bluntly telling Endeavor that he is a jerk, although he says he will put up with it if that means he can see how the top hero operates. Both Midoriya and Yaoyorozu stared wide-eyed at seeing and hearing this as Bakugo showed no fear in speaking his mind out even against the likes of Endeavor.
"You know what…?"
"Huh?"
"Now that I finally see you in person I have a clear impression of you."
"?"
"You're a real STUCK-IN-THE-MUD, aren't you…"
"Wh-what…what was that? What the hell did you just say…?"
"Well…I guess it'll be okay as long as I get to see how a top hero like you works, so I don't mind how much of a jerk you are…"
"Wh…why you…! You damn brat! You actually have the gall…!"
Bakugo's rather crude attitude displeases Endeavor and asks Shoto if Bakugo really is his friend, saying that this is the first time encountering a DELINQUENT, and wondered how someone like Bakugo was accepted in UA Academy. Yaoyorozu, however, is worried seeing how bold Bakugo is after CRITICIZING the current top hero as Endeavor berated Shoto for not WISELY CHOOSING his friends.
"Shoto! Tell me! What's the meaning of this?"
"…"
"I told you to carefully choose your friends! Do you have any idea what kind of student you brought along?"
"…"
"Why did you decide to bring a loudmouth brat with you?"
"…"
"Don't you realize that he could be a bad influence on you?"
"…"
Midoriya, on the other hand, thanks Endeavor for accepting them as interns, recalling the conversation they both had during the sports festival months ago. At that moment, the aura of intimidation around him scared him a little, but now he seems different. Endeavor just stared at Midoriya in a neutral way, and mentally wondered if the latter has improved after last seeing his performance at the UA Sports Festival, where he saw Midoriya getting injured after using his Quirk during his match against Shoto.
Endeavor then glanced at Yaoyorozu, and he wondered what she can do and if he could intern her after seeing her performance during the UA Sports Festival, and wondered why she chose to intern with him given that it is public knowledge that she came from a well-known wealthy family of pro heroes, and Endeavor wondered about this as he felt that Momo's parents are wealthy enough to use their influence to choose a hero agency that has connections with the Yaoyorozu family, and there Yaoyorozu bowed at Endeavor for accepting her as an intern.
"Thank you, Endeavor."
"…"
"For accepting me as your intern."
"…"
"I look forward to working with you."
"…"
"I hope that I learn something important from you."
"…"
Endeavor was slightly impressed at how she carried herself, yet he is still conflicted as he personally prefer to intern his son alone, and there he motions the four teens to come with him, which Midoriya, Bakugo, Shoto and Yaoyorozu followed Endeavor.

Meanwhile, the scene shifts at an unspecified location, where a hideout is shown, and the scene zoomed inside where you can see that a syndicate is being run by a woman in her 20s, and is surrounded by several gunmen who serve as her PERSONAL ARMY, though some posses Quirks yet they still ARMED themselves with guns of many types, like machine guns, ArmaLite weapons and even RPGs.
And surrounding the woman, who appeared to be the ringleader, are a bevy of teenage girls, who appeared to be sex slaves of sorts, thus showing that the female leader amassed a harem, and the teenage girls appeared to be subservient to the woman, and there one of her henchmen came and told her that during his transaction at another city, he informed the woman that he saw several pro heroes patrolling several streets, with high school students accompanying him, and deduced that the teenagers are probably students from various hero schools.
The female ringleader smirked and told her henchman that there is nothing to worry about, saying that she sensed that something like this would happen, and told him to continue the operation as usual, and there she told her other henchmen to be on standby as they are about to get a little busy, which the henchmen nodded in acknowledgement.
"Yes, ma'am!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
"Yes, ma'am!"

Meanwhile, the scene shows that Endeavor is leading the interns as they are on the way to the Endeavor Hero Agency office, and while they walk down the street, Endeavor remarks the words that Midoriya said to him at the Sports Festival, about Shoto is not like him, which baffled Midoriya, while Yaoyorozu wonder what Endeavor is trying to imply, unaware of the fact that Endeavor and Midoriya first encountered during the UA Sports Festival.
She whispered to Todoroki and asked if there is some kind of BAD BLOOD between Endeavor and Midoriya, which he admitted that he has no idea.
"Do you think that something is going on between your dad and Midoriya…?"
"Don't know."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Are we really going to be okay?"
"Yeah, don't worry."
"…"
"…"
Suddenly, Endeavor runs off saying that he won't be wasting time training others than Shoto. He then leaps into action, as he hears a disturbance. Endeavor tells the three interns that if they want to learn then stay behind him and watch, which Yaoyorozu is taken aback at the current number one pro hero's actions, wondering if he is not really interested with his interns.
Endeavor is now ready to go into action, and he glanced behind him, only to be surprised to see Shoto going into action as well, with Midoriya, Bakugo and Yaoyorozu already in their gear, ready for action. Again Midoriya asks Endeavor for his instructions, only for the current number one pro hero to repeat his order: stay behind him and watch.
